Author's Note
Hi Everypony, I've done the first edits for this chapter and would move on to chapter 1 soon. Just getting back into the grove of writing and will continue. I've changed a few things and also changing a few over used words.
Welp that's all for now and I will post the updated version of chapter 1 today or tomorrow.

Prologue [Edited]
Equestria
In the ruins of what used to be a royal castle... A white alabaster coloured mare with a shimmering rainbow mane looked through the gap of a destroyed roof.
Celestia was battered with bruises and cuts leaving the alicorn injured… but her body isn’t the only thing that was injured, but her heart.
"WHY? WHY COULDN’T I PREVENT THIS!” Celestia yelled in complete distress.
Celestia's emotions quickly changed again and now looking upon this reality, Her mother, Sister and the place she called home just vanished.
From the happiness, the scars of war to the complete loss of her only family… Celestia, known as the goddess of ponies, cried...
Before The Elements Fired.
"SISTER!" Celestia yelled.
"You don't want to do this!" Celestia tried to convince Luna or what's left of Luna anyways. Nightmare Moon was laughing like a maniac then became serious.
"YOU FOOL OF A SISTER! LUNA IS GONE! AND I WILL DESTROY YOUR DAY!" Nightmare Moon then fired a death beam of some sort.
Celestia acted fast from reflexes and activated the elements in which reacted by spinning in a circular motion ridiculously fast.
Nightmare moon's magic beam was heading towards Celestia at a fast pace...
"I am so sorry Luna..."
Celestia Fired off a rainbow ray of doom at her sister but in doing so the elements spoke.
'You have to choose between these two options...'
Celestia looked confused about where the voice was coming from.
'Kill Your Sister and keep control of the elements or Imprison her in the Moon for 100000 years but in doing so you will lose control of the elements until another barer is found. Be quick, you have a limited time to choose.'
Celestia went wide-eyed, shocked and worried about her sister's wellbeing. A familiar emotion came up to Celestia that she knew well of when she was younger... Fear. She only felt fear, the fear of losing her only family that is left alive. She has to make a fast decision or else the elements would. she didn't want to lose control of the elements but nether her only family forever. Panicking, she chooses to send her sister to the moon.
Both rays from both princesses contacted each other which made a huge shock wave and created a ball of glowing death in the centre. But with the help of the elements, Celestia's ray was pushing forwards towards her sister. The rainbow ray of doom was close to Luna. In the blink of an eye.
"NOOOOOOOOOOO!"
The ray of magic was now heading towards the moon then hit it embedding the princess of the night into her moon, which left Celestia injured and alone in the dark, cold and gloomy ruins of what remained of her home...
998 Years After That Incident
Celestia was sitting on her throne in her castle on the side of canterlot mountain. She still reflects on the decision she made on her sister all that time ago. She gets a little bit emotional there and there but she hides it under her regal mask.
'What would've happened if I didn't choose and let the elements decide my sister's fate?' She asked herself.
Twilight busted into Celestia's throne room panicking which startled Celestia a bit but she regains control of her slight fright
"Twilight? Is something wrong?" Celestia questioned with worry at Twilight's panicked state.
Twilight only panics like this when she is forgetting her due date… but this is something different.
"WHAT IF SHE IS COMING BACK?!?" Panicked Twilight.
"Who is coming back, Twilight?" Celestia questioned her panicking student.
"N-N--NIGHTMARE MOON!" She Yelled Visibly shaking.
This took Celestia back a bit. She felt that same pain since that night and obviously, she was hiding her emotions behind her mask but inside her very soul was a lonely and depressed mare. She wanted to get away from Twilight but she has to move on.
"Twilight... Nightmare Moon is just a Legend." Celestia said but in doing so guilt hit her. She just lied to her student about her missing sister.
"WHAT IF THE LEGEND IS TRUE!" Twilight pressed forward.
“Twi-” Celestia was interrupted.
"THE LEGEND STATES THAT ON THE THOUSANDTH YEAR OF THE SUMMER SUN CELEBRATION, THE STARS WILL AID HER EARLY ESCAPE!" Twilight Panic told her mentor.
'But the Elements told me 10000 years not only 1000 unless it has to be the weird fluctuation of magic in which moves the stars?' Celestia thought and knew that was Luna's domain for that terminology.
"Twilight It's just a Legend okay, I promise if anything does happen I will try my best to protect you and my kingdom," Celestia said reassuringly
Twilight relaxed a bit with a sigh. "Okay Princess I trust you," Twilight said and started to exit the throne room. Then stop.
"Um, Princess I don't know if it's just me but I feel like something bad is going to happen." Then she left, which left Celestia stumped at that cryptic comment. Celestia continued with her work but she had realised that she had to prepare for a conference meeting with the Griffins the next year.
Twilight left the castle back towards her home. She has mixed emotions on the situation. While walking back with Spike on her back, Spike asked some questions about the current event.
"What did the princess say?" Asked Spike.
"The Princess said it was a myth, Spike. She also said that if it did happen, she would do everything in her powers to protect us all. "
"Yeah, she is the "Powerful" Princess after all," Spike said, being sarcastic.
But in doing so he fell on his arse.
"OW!" He yelled.
"What was that for?!?!" Spike yelled with a bit of malice.
"That is for calling the Princess weak Spike!" Twilight scolded.
"You have not seen her true potential yet!" Twilight continued.
"You can't say much Twilight," Spike said with doubt.
"Oh yeah? She has a lot of magic in her Spike you just haven't seen it but I have!" Twilight said proudly.
Reaching her house she went up the stairs to her library reading some more myths. She has found a book about human mythology.
'What is a human anyway?' She thought.
Opening the book she was met with myths about humans ranging from wars, their species as a whole, how they behave, how advance they are, and how their culture works. Twilight was fascinated by human culture and their technology until she had reached the war part.
Humans are Known to rage wars to other humans for their land, money and other things. they are Brutes, ruthless, selfish and insane in the ways that they kill.
Twilight then closed the book shuddering at the way humans kill. Spike then came up.
"Why are you shaking?" He asked with concern.
"D-DD-Don't ask..." She said with fear and disgust.
The time of the conference.
The Griffin king and his soldiers are at a meeting point where the princess has set up. The king was a ruthless, evil, and a selfish cunt, but when he is out of his country he plays an act to ward off anypony or body suspicions towards him. He wants to rule all of planet Equis. However, the Equestrians have all their resources due to the wars 800 years back or so that they lost.
King Silver Beak was the one that wanted to rule all of Equis but failed all those years back. His Great Great grandson wouldn't dare rule the world but this one was different. The new king that rules the present day was King Kruger, he has all the elements that Hitler had but not really. But during the conference, he has already made his moves. An attack on one of the multiple Equestrians Metal Quarries that they formally owned. The attack was on the same day as the conference.
The attack was successful and no survivors were left at the site besides one. Crystal Diamond was bleeding out from the bullets she had received from the new and “advanced” weapons the gryphons had. She was knocking on death’s door however she had written an emergency letter to the princess. Using the last of the energy she has she sent it, but in doing so gave her position away to the gryphons.
"HEY!" One of the gryphons yelled
A group of gryphons ran up to her demanding what she sent.
"WHAT DID YOU DO!"
She looked up then smiled.
"Y-Y-YYour doom..." she wheezed her last breath.
She couldn't stay awake anymore and decided to close her eyes which caused a tear to slide down her face.

At the conference meeting
King Kruger and Princess Celestia were discussing political matters they had. Celestia had plans to make even more peace to the gryphons and wanted to open up trades to them.
"Why don't we open up a new trade route?" Celestia asked.
"Hmmm..." Kruger is deciding.
"I don't know princess. What will you trade with us?" Kruger asked.
"We would give you resources for blueprints to modern equipment and facilities," Celestia said.
'YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING ME!?!' Kruger thought.
'THEY TOOK OUR RESOURCES AND WHAT? TO USE IT TO THEIR ADVANTAGE?!?! Kruger frowned.
"Princess, we could find our "own" resources. We don't need any from you." He states.
Celestia looked surprised at the comment, Yeah they are ruthless for resources and want it for free but another or less they need resources due to struggling poverty they had. Celestia had nothing else to talk about so she decided to conclude the meeting.
"Well, that concludes the meeting," Celestia concluded.
Celestia got up and left which King Kruger boiling his ass off.
On the way back to Canterlot.
Celestia was enjoying the view of Equestria from her carriage. The view consisted of green valleys, mountain passes, Blue lakes, forests. It was a sight to see.
Celestia sighed and thought about how the meeting went. It was the usual small talks and other things but this one was different, Kruger was more aggravated about something... like he wanted to take and kill something.
Celestia paused her thoughts and took a fresh breath.
'Come on Celly there is nothing wrong with the gryphon empire, King Kruger is always like that right?'
Her thoughts came to a sudden end when a letter showed up with bloodstains on it. Smelling iron from the blood, She knew something was up and it was not good. Normally ponies that see blood or fucked up shit would freak out but Celestia knew that blood was an old foe of hers back 1000 years or so, which brought back pretty scarred memories of that time. The blood, Limbs and even organs of her ponies flashed through her eyes.
Celestia flinched but didn't panic as she used to back when those nightmares appear in her dreams every single night. She still has the guilt of sending her ponies to their deaths and that she was the one that survived. But knowing that if she did die... who would look after Equestria?
Celestia then clamped her eyes shut to remove the images from her eyes then reopen them to read the letter. She took a deep but shallow breath and opened the letter.
URGENT!
THERE HAS BEEN AN ATTACK ON THE METAL QUARRY DOWN EAST. THE ATTACKERS ARE THE GRYPHONS. THERE ARE NO SURVIVORS INCLUDING ME CRYSTAL DIAMOND. THIS LETTER WAS SENT USING THE LAST OF MY ENERGY...
Tell... My... Parents... I... Am Sorry.
Celestia was shocked, furious that Kruger planned an attack on Equestria.
"LIEUTENANT WE NEED TO HEAD BACK TO CANTERLOT WITH HASTE!" Celestia Ordered
He Noded and told the other ponies to rush back to Canterlot.
Earth 21st Century or 2020 "World War 3"
Mark was sitting in base camp in his office doing some calculation on the next attack on the Russians. No nuclear warheads have been fired which was a good thing. He doesn't want that situation to happen or else everyone he loves dies. Looking back 20 years where his carrier was at an all-time high, he was a stunt pilot till he got into an injury. He retired from stunt piloting a plane and join the military. He has all the qualification for flying a jet but decided to join the armoured division due to high demand for a bigger armoured division.
Mark Graduated early as an officer. He did well in strategies, coordinating, organizing and much more. Normally officers stay back at base camp and not fight in the wars, they instead plan them. However, Mark didn't want to "Slack off" after the planning, he instead joins the front lines with his fellow soldiers either on foot or in a tank commanding them usually but doing so he saw the horrors of war...
Mark shook his head and continued planning the next moves on a Russian nuclear silo. Hours and hours may have passed which made Mark feel like shit so he decided to go to bed.
Mark's Dream realm
Mark was moving along in a convoy with his brother in arms at his side. He was in the second vehicle and his friends were in the first. Their tasks were to liberate a small village filled with Al-Qaeda units. While in some thoughts his eardrums burst from an explosion in front of his truck. That whole moment slowed down for Mark as he saw his friends get caught in the explosion.
The whole convoy stopped and Mark was the first one who got out. He ran towards his friends MRAP which was flipped over by the IED. Opening the back of the truck he was met with his dead friends. One was looking directly at him with his eyes open then the surrounding background became dark.
His friend then said.
"WHY DIDN’T YOU PROTECT US!" One Yelled with a demonic voice
Which caused Mark to jump. All of the heads of his friends were all staring at him.
"YOU SHOULD OF SEARCH THE AREA!"
"YOU BASTARD! YOU LET US DIE!"
Mark was cowering down.
"Sorry..." Mark whispered
"SORRY?!? A SORRY WOULDN'T FIX THIS!"
All the heads then started oozing blood.
"DIE!"
"DIE!"
"DIE!"
They chanted, which caused blood to flow out of his throat leaving Mark gasping for air as he fell onto his knees...
Back in the real world.
Mark shot up with a cold sweat and breathing heavily. He was shivering and crying to an extent.
'WHY?!? WHY NOT ME!'
'WHY DID THEY HAVE TO DIE! I WAS THE ONE WHO SHOULD OF CHECK THE SURROUNDING AREA!
An alarm went off at his base camp which caused Mark to jump out of fright and to instantly compose his emotion.
"CODE RED!"
"CODE RED!"
The alarm yelled out. Mark then scrammed out to get into his uniform and to grab his gun. Running out of his room and into the hallway trying to make his way to the courtyard but something caught his eyes which caused him to slow down in absolute horror.
Outside the window that Mark was staring out was a bright flash and a mushroom cloud.
"No... It can't be..." He whispered with shock.
The huge shockwave then slammed into the base which caused Mark to lose his footing. A burning sensation smacked Mark hard which causes him to scream out of misery. His skin started to melt off and his uniform caught fire.
The screaming went on for 2 minutes then silence.

I Woke up feeling nothing but guilt, pain and regret. I could see nothing but plain black.
'Is this what death feels like?' I thought.
Minutes feel like hours, hours feel like days. I couldn't tell what time it is... it just feels so fucked up.
'This is my torture for not helping my friends.'
'This is how I live my life now.'
giving up on the sense of time, freedom and life. My vision came back which I was thankful for but what I saw was the most fucked up thing I saw in my whole life.
There was a Unicorn with Wings with a red mane and white coat she was fighting something that was the ugliest fucking shit there is, but then she looked at me then yelled: "WHOEVER YOU ARE HELP ME!" her voice sounded powerful which gave me the shivers, then again her voice sounded like she really does need help. Then the surrounding area fogged up then vanished.
I was confused as fuck on what I just saw. Was I hallucinating from treatment at a hospital?
I was then snapped out of thought from pain EXTREME PAIN.
I couldn't scream or anything it just hurts so fucking bad. I couldn't take it anymore then blacked out landing on something like grass or dirt I couldn't tell...
The Great Equestrian War.
Chapter 2: A "Unexpected" Recovery.
2 Months have passed since Mark went into a coma, Luna and the Main Six but mostly Luna who visits him often at Canterlot Hospital. She feels guilty and sadden to a point of depression. Luna also saw the signs of the two becoming friends... but it had to end like this or so she thought, Celestia saw the state of her sister and it was killing her from the inside out from seeing her sister in that state. The three had endured so much pain, regret, sorrow and grief that it got them to a point of killing themself but who knows what the future has got in vain for the three.
Pov: Mark
I've been sitting in this black void of nothing for who knows how long. But my mind is still active and roaming around for any ideas, its a hint that I am not dead... I think.
Nothing has changed from what I've been seeing well until the surrounding darkness turned white once more. probably indicating that Harmony is here.
"Well, It seems like you are in a coma." Harmony said
"Yeah, I kinda realised that now and by the way hows everyone?"
"Twilight is doing well with her new friends and Luna... Well, she is depressed." Harmony informed.
"Why is she depressed?"
"Well she feels guilty for "Killing you" She also thought that you will never wake up from your coma and is blaming her self." She said looking down toned.
"Well, I don't blame her. I had to endure that feeling through a War back where I am originally from." I said which caught Harmony's attention.
"A war?" She questioned
"Yeah, a war 10 years ago and well... two days ago." I shivered at the thought of all the death I've seen.
"How old are you now?" Harmony asked
"I am in my early thirty's but I look ridiculously young as a pony. I will say I look around in my late 18's as a pony." I said which harmony looks shocked.
"So You had to endure a war as a foal!?!" She questioned but in response, I looked at her funny.
"No, I did not. The legal age to become an adult is 18 in my world but I took part as a stunt pilot around 15 years of age just as a hobby."
"But still to be a legal adult you have to be 25" She informed.
"How old do you think I look?" I asked
"Well in your human form you looked middle age but as a pony, you look like a foal 18 or 17 years of age." She said so I took that as a compliment.
"Ayee Thanks for calling me young!" I said with a heartily chuckle.
"I am not sure if that's a good thing or not but okay?" Harmony said not entirely sure on how to awnser.
"Well anyways what is stunt piloting?" Harmony asked out of curiosity.
"Well, how should I say it... Umm, let's simplify things. Do you know how pegasi do stunts?" I said, she nods.
"We do that with metal birds we built that hold a person who flys them," I told she kinda looked shocked.
"So you are saying that your kind has made a way to fly even tho they can't fly naturally" She responded.
"Yeah, we make, use and evolve our technology by using math and science. That's how we put a man on the moon." I said proudly but harmony looks at me funny.
"The moon? Why on Equis would you go to the moon?" Harmony asked me.
"Well, we are a curious species and wanted to know what is on the moon."
"The moon is just rocks." Harmony states.
"No not just rocks there is water ice on the moon but that's not important. The way we got back to earth and discovered our findings and well we guessed or hypothesise that there could be different worlds with different sentient beings or aliens as you may say... well I am technically an alien cause I have well very very "futuristic" tech."
"Well, you prove that there are aliens out of this would cause we can call you an alien and you could call us an alien." Harmony explained.
"True we are all alien-like," I said.
"Oh also Just to inform you that you are about to wake up in a couple of days so I wish you luck." She said as I looked at her again but with a "You kidding right?" look.
"TWO DAYS?!?! WHY?" I asked.
"Well, you lost a lot of blood to a point where you almost had none." She said and I looked back with a deadpan expression
"So you are telling me that I survived extreme and fatal blood loss?. In my world, you or I, in this case, would be dead." I stated but in response, she smirked.
"Magic." She said as she waved her hoof around.
"Anyways I need to take care of the forest and you will wake up in two days or so alright?" She said which I nodded and with that, she disappeared leaving me to my thoughts and regrets.
A day has been passed is what I guessed since I couldn't tell the time at all but after the conversation, I had with harmony thing around me started to change and I started seeing wars that I've never participated in and they where giving memories I never had. Again the surrounding area changed to a desert which looked familiar.
'This... looks like af-'
"RPG!"
My pupils went pinprick as I jumped and took cover.
*WHURRURUR* *BOOM!*
"AMBUSH! I REPEAT THERE IS AN AMBUSH!" A soldier yelled.
There were constant cracks by gunfire and whistle of bullets flying over my head and also hitting the nearby ground. From instincts, I picked up my guns and ordered, my troops to stay put and hold ground and don't fall back. We had to defend this position.
*WHOOSH!* *CRACK!*
There were even more cracks of gunfire and whooshes of bullets impacting the ground above. *TING!* *CRACK!* The sound was awfully familiar and gruesome. The sound ended with the sound of a body hitting the ground. I looked over my shoulder and saw a private laying dead on the floor with a bullet through his skull.
"SHIT MAN DOWN MAN DOWN!" I yelled.
I would occasionally take potshots at the enemy but in return, I would almost get shot. A few more hours of shooting things went quiet but for me, something bad is going to happen.
There it was in the sky a glowing rod of death heading towards us. While inching closer to my trench I notice it was not a conventional missile... It was more like a nuclear ICBM in its last stage.
*BOOM!*
Real World.
*GAAAAAAAAAAASP!*
I woke up sweating a lot and needing to breathe much more. All I could remember is...
'Am I still on earth?' I thought as I looked at my hands again but nothing has changed from my pony self.
'Thank god I am not back at that hell hole.'
I was about to get off my bed but something isn't feeling right or I should say something is on top of me preventing me from getting up. I didn't mind however I looked at a nearby clock and fuck me but it was around mid-day. I again tried to move off the bed same results with a different twist. It wasn't a restraint but someone or somepony was putting their head on my stomach.
I used as much energy I still had left in my reserves to at least get up in a seating position to see who was sleeping on me. But what I saw surprised me.
"Uhh... Princess Luna?" I asked but she didn't stir what so ever.
So I took this moment to examen her and well she looked different and a bit taller when I last saw her. Her mane flows but it looks dull with a couple of stars in it. But I assume that there are more stars in her mane but I would have to ask her later on.
A few minutes waiting I started to feel something in my body that needs to do something... Fuck I need to piss and drink some water cause I'm thirsty as fuck!
So again will all my energy tried to get off the bed. I kinda got out but not really well... because umm... how should I say this but Luna is hugging me and my body is halfway off the bed.
'I am technically doing exercise but this is not helping. The fact is that I need to empty my reserves... Badly.'
I sighed at an awkward angle while holding in my piss trying not to leak at all. With another attempt, I gently moved Luna's hoofs off me and got off the be-
'SHIT!'
I forgot that I am not supposed to stand on two hoofs again. Dam I miss standing up straight. As soon as I got my footing right I snuck to a nearby restroom. In the stall right now I wanted to piss standing up like a normal human being, so I had to stand on my rear legs and use a singular hoof pressing forward on the wall so I would not lose my balance and... Well aimed my donger at the target with my other free hoof.
"Ahhhhh... This is amazing..." I moaned out of pure comfort and well pleasure? Yeah, I could say that.
After ending my blissful and long piss I heard screaming.
"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH! WHERE DID YOU TELEPORT THE PATIENT!" Somepony yelled.
"I WAS ASLEEP!" A female sounding like Luna.
'Great I think the nurse thought Luna teleported me away or something.'
So I walked out my stall whistling as I casually walk back into my room.
"Princess! You wouldn't know that you teleport him away! Cause you were asleep!" The nurse yelled at Luna.
"I NEVER TELEPORT! WHEN I AM ASLEEP! I WOULD BE IN THE DREAM REALM!" Luna Yelled back.
As I looked over the fighting I sighed.
*KNOCK!* *KNOCK!*
I heard knocking at the door that I just close but nopony seems to notice over the yelling and I wasn't bothered to open it.
"Lun-" An alabaster-white alicorn appeared standing still at the doorway shocked staring at me with wide eyes. Everything in the room became quiet as all eyes were on me.
"Umm... Hello?" I nervously greeted which causes the nurse to faint... nevermind not just the nurse Luna also fainted but the white alicorn just stood there staring at me before she also fainted.
