Chapters Equestria Ch. 1 Meet the gang/ wolf hunting
"Welcome to the city of Canterlot! My name is Twilight Sparkle, and I'm an adventurer. Yes you heard right, an adventurer. I’m a member of the Ponyville Guild. I’m an Alicorn, a rare breed of earthling born every 20 years. In my family, there are only two Alicorns, which is rare in and of itself.
"I'm a mage, someone who prefers to fight using magic. my current rank is A, converting that into a numerical level, I would be at level 96."
"Let's see what else should I tell you about me? Not that I know why this info matters but, I'm 23 years old, I’m 5'6", I weigh 70 kg, I'm right-handed and pretty much a bookworm. I'm possibly one of the smartest if not the smartest guild member.”
"Oh there you are!” A friendly woman waves to you. “Come on, I'll show you around the guild, and if we're lucky we'll run into the rest of the members of my party!”
"Welcome to the Ponyville guild, as you can see it's a very big building.” said Twilight.
The Guildhall was a massive castle-like building with three floors to it; The lowest floor, or, the “Dungeon” as everyone called it, served as a jail, it contained 5 cells, and 2 bedrooms for the guards, it also served as a storage room, and testing facility.
Then was the main floor, that’s where all of the excitement happened, there you would find a pub and restaurant, for members only, where you could stuff your bellies before heading out, there was also an armory where the blacksmiths worked their magic to create the best weapon that exists in the market; and of course, the front desk. Here you would go to do anything regarding your work for the guild, register, ask for directions, form a party, sign up to join a party or group, take quests, get paid, etc…
And, on the last floor were the guild offices: The accounting department, the head of security, the blacksmith chief’s office (Which she rarely uses), and the Guildmaster’s personal quarters; there was also a VIP lounge, but that was reserved only for S class adventurers.
Twilight then walked into the main hallway of the guild and was greeted by everyone.
“HEY, TWILIGHT!!!!!” they screamed.
“MORNING TO ALL!!! GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR ADVENTURES!!!” she screamed back.
“CHEEEEEEEERS!!!!” everyone in the room exclaimed.
Twilight then walked over to an area near the front desk.
“Over here is the quest area, as you can see it is divided into 3 sections, one is for the everyday quests, the other is for long term adventures or quests, and the final part is for dungeon crawling, why is it split like that you ask? Allow me to explain."
Twilight then walked to the far left side of the room.
"Every quest has a different level/rank of difficulty, which means that you can only take certain quests depending on your level, the higher the rank the better the pay; Everyday quests can go from just simple handyman-like services to short hunting quests.” Twilight said as she walked to the next area.
“The long term quest usually can take from anywhere between 1 week to even a year, sometimes even longer; Usually these quests take place outside of town, they can be really stressful, but they pay well… well most of them at least. They are always ordered from easiest to Extremely dangerous, so you should really think about which one you go on, and most importantly, WHO you go with.” she continued.
“when it comes to long term adventures you are only allowed to go if A) you belong to a party or B) a party invites you to join, which doesn't really happen much since this quests are usually reserved for Familias or adventurer organizations."
"And lastly we have dungeon crawling, or swiping, in this area it's basically a free for all you can go in by yourself or in a group, of course, you can only enter dungeons that are near your rank, so again, the better your rank, the better, and dangerous the dungeon gets; the quest you recibe here can go from scouting and mining, to, What we call “Exterminating”, this is the toughest of quest since, not only do you have to be strong to defeat wave after wave of enemies, but you also have to kill the Dungeon’s boss, and as if that isn’t enough, then you have to head back to the entrance before the dungeon collapses and you stay trapped inside, or die crushed!"
Twilight then began to look around and noticed a group of adventurers at the front desk, they were in a line that said “Dungeon Recruitment,”
“What are they doing? They are getting ready to try their luck in a dungeon,” she said as she walked towards the front desk
"If you are a, for example, a rank C and you want to enter a rank A dungeon, you can only do so if join a party with at least 3 A-class adventurers,"
"Adventures and Dungeon crawling are very popular activities at any guild, especially since you can level up faster and easily, even Familias and organizations do this every month to train their new recruits, or see if they are good enough to represent them; But none of that would happen if you don’t place a reservation or notice here at the front desk… oh and there is Charis, she is the new receptionist, she's been here for about 2 years, she took over after Listy retired," Said Twilight as she pointed at a young receptionist with a long, light-pink hair, and and red eyes,
"From what I know, she is 20 years old, she is around 5'4", weighs around 70 kg, has DD size breasts and, from what I've heard, she belongs to a royal family, but she never talks about it,"
"Another thing I've heard is that she is also an adventurer but she is only a rank E, so she decided to take over as receptionist," said Twilight as she walked over to her
“Hi, Charis, what’ya doing?” asked Twilight
“Nothing much Twilight, just arranging some reports of recently finished quests, you?” asked Charis
“Oh, just making a mental conversation with myself, remembering everything I ever learned here,” said Twilight
“Ah, that’s good, you and your friends are gonna head out soon?” she asked
“No, not yet… by the way, Charis… did you receive anything from…?” asked Twilight
“No, sorry Twilight, there isn’t any letter from him, but don’t worry, I’m sure he’s fine, he’s the most powerful Adventurer ever, I’m I right?” said Charis
“Yeah, you’re right, I just… I just want to make sure he’s safe,” said Twilight
Twilight and Charis then went quiet for a few seconds, until an idea came to Twilight’s head
“Hey Charis?” said Twilight
“Yeah?” she answered
“I’m gonna put you to the test,” said Twilight
“Ok, I’m listening,” said Charis
“Ok, explain to me the crystal ball, and the ranking system for adventurers,” said Twilight
“You really aren’t going to let that slide are you?” said Charis
“Nope!” said Twilight with a smile
"Very well than… this crystal ball is the device that we use to check our ranks, and depending on the rank we get, decides the level of importance to the guild, the ranking system goes like this: Rank F, 0 to 24, usually for every day civilians who are not really taken into consideration for many things quest related,”
“Rank E, 25 to 40, commonly used as list fillers for dungeon crawling and big party quests, their main job is to be there, carry everyone's equipment, and, most importantly, survive, they are usually called "the reserve adventurers",”
“Rank D, 41 to 64, this adventurers are usually hired as guards or tend to do odd jobs or low level quests, this level is usually given to teenagers with promise for the future, they are commonly referred to as the "Prospects" and they are always being scouted by Familias or high ranking parties to strengthen their popularity,”
“Rank C, 65 to 75, the common young adventurer, if you're a C rank, you don't really have to worry about shortages of work since 75% of quests are for C rankers, and they also pay very well,”
“Rank B, 76 to 89, the better questers, this is the minimum level required if you want to be a party leader or instructor, you get better quests and better pay, plus you tend to be treated as important in your guild,”
“Then we have Rank A, 90 to 99, the cream of the crop, if you become an A ranker you can start receiving private contracts and even royal contracts from time to time, inside the guild you are considered as crucial and, in some cases, a guild will even pay off any familia just to maintain you in their ranks,”
“And finally, Rank S, anything over 100 but less than 150, this adventurers are so rare, that a guild's ranking depends solely on the number of S rankers they have, this adventurers work directly under, either the guild master or the crown, and from what I've heard, the common S rank quest has a probability of survival of just 10%, THEY'RE FUCKING SUICIDE MISSIONS,"
"What number is this guild ranked at?” asked Twilight
“We currently sit on number 10, we could be much worse, but since our guild is mostly A rankers and B rankers we can hold our own,” said Charis
“Well, finally you mastered the information,” said Twilight
“Yeah, and it only took me a few months, with various mistakes,” said Charis
“Well, I’ll let you get back to work, bye,” said Twilight
“Bye, and remember, be careful,” said Charis
“The ranking of the guild is very important, it lets you gain status, and it also makes the guild receive extra quests. Remember what I said about the S rankers? Well 3 years ago our guild was ranked at number 1,that meant that we were getting at least 500 new quests and 200 new recruits a day; but the problem was that all of our S rankers retired due to old age or to take other ventures,"
"For example, there is Cheerilee, she just turned 32 years old, and believe me, she was a gal you didn't want to anger, she used to have an S rank level of 110, but after a mission she just decided to quit, no one knows why, now she is a teacher at Canterlot high, I just hope none of the kids make her angry,"
"Then we have Mr. And Ms. Cake, 38 and 37 years old, Mr. Cake was the guild's top scout who completed over 500 successful missions, he was ranked at level 116, and then Ms. Cake, she was the guild's best dungeon crawler and instructor, she was the reason our guild had so many S rankers, but they retired and started a family and a business, Sugarcube corner, you might've heard of it,"
"Then we have Cranky, he was the guild's top adventurer for over 30 years, he started when he was 16, but after he turned 50 he started to lose his touch and used to adventurer less and less until he retired at age 60, he is the only adventurer to have more than 20K successful missions, his 3 sons and 2 daughters are also adventurers but none of them will ever be at his level, his daughter Tiger lily is the best ranked from all her brothers since she is a B ranked healer but she spends most of her time at the hospital working as a doctor,"
"What happened to the rest? They retired, left the guilds to other familias or guilds... or died," Twilight continued as she neared the tavern
"Currently we have 3 S-Ranker... on paper,"
"There is Flash Sentry, he is a level 117, age: 24, height 6'3", weight 80 kg, he usually works as the captain of the royal guard, also known as the coin guard, so he rarely goes on quests," Pointing at a poster of him
"Then we have my friend Applejack's older brother, Big Macintosh, level 124, age 28, height 6'10", weight 100 kg, and he is 99% muscle, he usually works at his family's farm Sweetapple acres, but goes on quests when he has free time," as she pointed at him while he drank a cup of cider
"And the last one… well... that would be my older half brother, Spike, his last know level was 136, which made him, not only the strongest adventurer in the world, but also the fastest growing adventurer, since when he started he was a Rank E, with a level 23,"
"He would be 24 years old now; last time I saw him he weighed anywhere around 75 to 90 Kg, and used to have a height of 6'1","
"He left in a peacekeeping mission to an island called Teer Fradee, the last email we received from him said "just arrived to the island, heard news that war began 2 days ago, keep me in your hearts, memories and prayers, hopefully we'll see ourselves again, love Spike," it's been 2 and a half years since then and we haven't receive a text or news in general, Mayor Mare, who is also the Guild master, didn't want to accept it but had no choice but to declare Spike K.I.A. I still don't want to accept it, like many of my friends and party members… speak of the devils there is my party," Thought Twilight as her eyes landed on her usual table.
"The girl furthest to the right is Pinkie Pie, she was one of the first official members if my party, that including me, Spike and Sunset Shimmer, she is 23 years old, height: 5'6", weight 70 Kg, rank: A, level: 90, adventurer type: warrior, measurements 43”DD 28”H 38”B, power hand: right, she is an earthling. Pinkie is one of the fastest, and weirdest members of the guild, the reason being that she loves sugar, with a passion, she loves to fight with her hammer and cannon, she is also Canterlot's top party planner,"
"Then comes Fluttershy, she is 23 years old, height: 5'4", weight 40 Kg, rank: B+, level 89, adventurer type: Tank, measurements 58”F 25”H 30”B, power hand: Left, she is a pegasus. Fluttershy is the quietest person I know, and probably one of the most confusing adventurers out there, she is short and shy, and prefers to be more of a healer, not ot mention, she gets scared easily, but, she is also one of the strongest women in the world, and she can be rather scary when she gets angry, not to mention that due to her height, her boobs look even bigger than they actually are, and to add insult to injury, she is a pegasus, which means that even the fact that she is a tank type is confusing,"
"Then comes Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy's childhood friend, she is a cloudsdale guild reject and the world's fastest flyer, also 23, height 5'7", weight 50 kg, adventurer type: Rogue, she loves to use hand to hand combat, rank A, level 94, measurements 38”B 23”H 44”B, Power hand: right, she is a pegasus, obviously. She is also the biggest prankster in the whole of Equestria, one of the reasons she was side casted by Cloudsdale, not to mention she is a daredevil, and loves anything extreme, be it good or bad"
"Next we have Rarity Belle, also known as the "Drama Queen," she is 23, height 5'8", weight 46 kg, adventurer type: mage, rank A, level 90,measurements 59”F 24”H 42”B, Power hand: right, she is one of the 2 unicorns in my team, me being an alicorn making me the second. Rarity is, by far, one of the most annoying adventurers, she usually complains about everything, not to mention that she hates getting dirty, and her lavish dresses and cloaks are mostly the reason monsters are attracted to us. She also thinks she is some sort of royalty and has a bit of an attitude, she does have her good side, she is really generous and is good at finding rare treasures,"
"She is a fashionista and even owns her own boutique in the city, "Carousel Boutique" is the name… another thing that annoys me about her is that, she is, for lack of a better word, obsessed with my brother Spike, how you ask? She named herself his girlfriend, is always stalking him, and scariest of all, she has already sued enough clothes for both boys and girls up to the age of 6 years, she has even started to look for nursery furniture, plus she gets extremely jealous if Spike talks to another girl, even if it's one of us,"
"I hope that someday she understands that Spike's heart belongs to m- I mean no one, and that he hasn’t even thought about marriage; she has even broken into his apartment and sleeps on his bed, if Spike ever finds out,”
“Well, she does keep his house clean, and she doesn’t want to believe that Spike has died, she even forced us to keep on believing he is alive,”
“Next to Rarity we have Applejack. Applejack is the strongest female adventurer I have ever known, she is 24, height: 6’2”, weight 68 kg, adventure type: warrior, she is more of a gunslinger, but beware of her legs, Applejack has the strongest legs in Equestria, she can even kick through solid rocks like if they were made of foam. Her measurements are 43”DD 26”H 50”B, power hand: right, and, with her older brother, possibly the strongest earthlings alive. Applejack is the complete opposite of Rarity, she loves to get dirty, and rarely complains about anything, she does have a friendly rivalry with Rainbow Dash on who is better at doing this or that, but the only thing that it’s a given with Applejack is her loyalty,”
“Next is Starlight Glimmer, she isn’t really an active member of the party but she is our friend and tags along with us when she can, but in the next months she might become a full time member, currently 23 years old, height 5’5”, weight, 60 Kg, adventurer type: mage, measurements 42”D 30”H 36”B, power hand: right, she is also a unicorn. The reason of why she isn’t a full time adventurer is because she is still studying and prefers to be locked up in the library than outside fighting monsters, her current rank is B, and current level is 87, but she is still growing,”
“And Finally we have, Sunset Shimmer, she is a childhood friend of mine and Spike, and she was the first one to sign up to join the guild with me, Spike took a bit more convincing, She is 23 a month older than me, weight 57 kg, height 5’6”, measurements 44”DD 27”H 39”B, power hand: right, adventurer type: Paladin, also known as Guardians, they are a type of warrior that focuses mostly on defense and protecting the other party members when injured, Rank: A, level 94, and also an earthling, but she can also use magic, which is also weird, she is also my friendly rival when it comes to… stuff, but don’t worry, I always win, I’m more clever,”
“Anyway, Time to stop talking to myself, I really don’t want to let this beautiful Saturday morning go, plus I'm kinda broke so a good cash injection is just what the doctor ordered,"

"Nothing much, just deciding which quest to take," said Rainbow Dash

"These are the options that we believe are going to be easy, plus the reward is good," said Rainbow Dash
"Hunt 10 Timberwolves, reward $800,000, quest rank B. Delivered the package of supplies to the frontier city of Descolt, reward $200,000, quest rank C. Eliminate the threats in the Everfree plains, reward $1,000,000, quest rank S…"
"Rainbow! You know we can't do the last one by ourselves, plus it's a royal quest, so that one is out of the question,"
"Oh, come on Twi, with all or abilities together, we can hold our own," said Rainbow
"You know the rules Rainbow, we can't go on an S rank quest, without at least one S ranker, which we don't have," Twilight said
“Not to mention, this quest was on the VIP S-Rank room, if anyone saw you sneak inside, there’ll be hell to pay,” said Sunset
“You wouldn’t want to spend the night in prison again would you?” said Fluttershy
“Relax, no one saw me, I grabbed it last night, when the guild was closed,” said Rainbow Dash with a smug smile
“RAINBOW!!!!” they all screamed
“The last time you sneaked into the guild to still a quest sheet, you were discovered and sentenced to spend 1 month in jail,” said Starlight Glimmer
“I’d hoped you had learned your lesson,” said Applejack
“Well, It did suck that I was caught, but thanks to my Spiker, I only spent one night in the Guild jail.
When Rainbow Dash said this everyone in the table went quiet and had scary faces as they looked at Rainbow Dash rather dangerously
Rainbow Dash noticed this, and decided to play with them a bit
“Why are you still surprised, I mean, not to offend anyone, but I am the only one in this team that can keep up with his awesomeness,” she said
The look on all of the girls' faces was enough to make, even the strongest, most dangerous creature in the dungeons, run for its life.
“No wonder I’m his favorite,” said Rainbow Dash
This line made the girls tick, Rarity and Sunset Shimmer even grabbed their weapons
“What do you mean by that?” asked Rarity in a scary voice
“Well, let’s face it, Twilight, your his little sister, who is always making him contain himself when we used to go out and quest as a group, annoying him to death” Rainbow began
Twilight”s horn then began to glow a little
“Then we have Ms. Cow tits, and yes, we all know Spike likes them big, you could have him inside of you every night and yet, you can’t even look at him for a full minute, how do you plan on becoming his “go to” partner if you can’t even make eye contact?” said Rainbow
Fluttershy, just looked at her, and slowly grabbed her hammer.
“Sunset, no offense, but you tend to do so many mistakes, that I’m even surprised that they allowed you into the guild, Spike sometimes spends more time protecting your butt, than concentrating on the mission,” said Rainbow
Sunset had to use all of her mental fortitude not to get up and stab Rainbow Dash
“Rarity… where to start with you?... you love to make a scene out of everything, one thing that Spike hates… you also tend to get distracted rather easily giving Spike even more work… and don’t get me started about your dilution…” Rainbow Dash said
“Don’t tempt me Dash, I won’t let you have Spike,” Thought Rarity as she held her magic staff close
“Pinkie… you know I love you, but you tend to freak Spike out more, than give him wet dreams, and trust me… I know,”
Pinkie stared at Rainbow Dash motherfuckingly
“Applejack, we all know of your high sexual urges, and we thank you for showing your restrain when Spike was here; And yet, you’re still afraid of crossing the line,”
Applejack looked down, her eyes hidden behind her hair, and her body shivered with rage
“And lastly, Starlight… I honestly don’t know what to think, I can’t read you very well, you seem to love Spike, but at the same time you seem to love your childhood friend… GASP, are you into three…” Rainbow Dash began
“SHUT IT DASH!!!!!” screamed Starlight, catching everyone’s attention “Sorry,” she whispered in shame
“Do you girls get it, you tend to annoy, confuse, or just get in Spike’s way,” said Rainbow Dash
“And you don’t?” said Twilight
“You said it, not me,” said Rainbow Dash as she stood up and stretched
All the girls just looked at her doing the best they could not to kill their so called friend
“No, wonder Spike always asks me to go with him on most of his quests,” said Rainbow Dash
“That ain’t true Dash, if we had to count, you and I both have the same amount of quests with my Sugarcube,” said Applejack as she stood up
‘Yeah, but unlike you, I don’t beg him to join me, or follow him everywhere like his shadow,” said Rainbow Dash staring at Applejack and Rarity
‘That’s not true Dash, from every 10 quests you take with Spike, he only asks you to accompany him in 3 of them, you do the other 7,” said Charis as she walked by.
“Still that’s more than any of you,” said Rainbow Dash
“Nah, Charis killed you there dear,” said Applejack
“Well… I’m the only one that has slept on the same bed as him,” said Rainbow Dash, causing all of the girls to freeze up.
“You… what?” asked Twilight
“It was on one of his final adventures, we arrived at Neighton, but the inn we went to only had one room available, so we had to share the bed… not that I mind,” said Rainbow
“You… and Spike… shared a bed?!” they all said in scary tones
“Yeah, but he fell asleep before we could have some “Fun”,” said Rainbow Dash
All of the girls where green with envy
“Ah, I bet that as soon as he comes back he will invite me to his apartment and we’ll have a crazy welcome party… I wonder what they’ll call us “Rainike”... “RainbowSpike”.... Ah, how’bout “SpikeDash”,” said Rainbow Dash as she started to imagine herself and Spike getting married and having children.
Everyone's nerves went up to the max, and they had to physically contain themselves
“Go… going back to the topic…,” said Twilight as she grind her teeth
"I can ask my brother, he wouldn't mind tagging along," said Applejack
"He ain't even in town AJ, and Flash is way too busy to even talk to us," Twilight said
"Changing the subject dear, did you receive a letter from Spike? Asked Rarity with hope in her eyes
"No, nothing yet," Twilight said getting sad
"I don't want to accept it, but, maybe he did…," Fluttershy said
"I FORBID YOU FROM SAYING THAT, " Rarity said scaring Fluttershy
"Relax Rarity, I'm sure he's fine," said Pinkie "besides, he is the strongest adventurer ever,"
"Hey girls, I just went to ask about the quests and…" said Sunset
"And?" They said at the same time
"The Quickhoof familia has just accepted the quest to take the supplies, as for the S rank quest, the Crystal guild has sent its S rank adventurers to deal with it," Sunset said
"That only leaves, the wolf hunt," said Rainbow Dash
"Well at least it has a good pay," Applejack said
"Well times a wastin, let's go secure it," said Pinkie as she got up and darted across the guild hall
"Another day, another dollar," said Starlight
HOURS LATER EVERGREEN FOREST
“I still can’t believe that this quest has a time limit,” said Rarity
“I still can’t believe YOU’RE still complaining,” said Rainbow dash “How exactly are you going to impress Spike if you continue?”
“It’s just that it makes no sense,” Rarity said
“Rarity for the fifth time in the last hour, this quest has a time limit because it has been overlooked so much, that the situation might have changed, meaning that, our mission has gone from, killing the wolves, to, gather information on the pack, and if, and only IF, the situation is not bad, engage them in combat,” Sunset explained once again
“Yes, I understand that much,” Rarity said
“Rarity, Spike doesn’t like woman that complain about everything, if you want to become his wife someday, not that you’ll defeat me on winning his heart , you must be able to work at his pace, and he doesn’t ask many questions, let alone complain,” Twilight said
“Didn’t I just tell her that?!” said Rainbow Dash
“Oh, sorry, I just toned you out since this morning in the guild,” said Twilight annoying Rainbow Dash
“Of course I’ll become his wife, he is my destined partner,” Rarity said
“That’s what she thinks, but Spike and I are more compatible, we’re both so fucking awesome,” thought Rainbow Dash
“If anyone will marry my sugarcube, it’s gonna be me,” Thought Applejack with determination
“I honestly wouldn’t mind Spike having concubines, as long as I am his head or legal wife,” thought Pinkie Pie
“Rarity is already so ahead on the whole family planning idea, I need to start buying baby products, or I would give Spike the impression that I don’t care about OUR future together,” thought Fluttershy
“Try, just try to come between Spike and me, I’ve known him far longer than all of you… well less than Twilight… but I still have my secret weapon, and there is no way, you can defeat it,” Sunset Shimmer thought
“Would it be a problem to tell Twilight that I really want to bare Spike’s children, I mean, he was the only person to be there for me when Sunburst told me that he was getting married to another person, still I was too late to tell Sunburst how I felt about him, I’m not making that mistake again” Starlight Thought
MINUTES LATER
“Did you girls hear that?” asked Starlight
“Yeah… they’re close, but where,” said Rainbow dash
“Rarity! Flares up!” commanded Twilight as both Rarity and Twilight fired light flares into the sky.
At that moment they found out they were surrounded by a large pack of Timberwolves
“40...58...70… there are too many!” said Fluttershy as she landed
“Looks like we’ll have to fight our way out,” Rainbow dash said
“Girls, enter Diamond formation,” Sunset ordered
[The diamond formation, as it implies, is a formation that resembles a Diamond, with Sunset, Pinkie, Rainbow, and Applejack, acting as the outer defenses, protecting Twilight, Rarity, Starlight (when she is around), and Fluttershy, who usually acts as a healer, and last resort attack for the group,]
“The Diamond formation?! That’s suicide Sunset and you know it!” Rarity screamed
“Seriously Rarity…” Sunset started
“No, I agree with her, we don’t have enough space to maneuver our weapons properly, it’s to dangerous,” said Applejack
“Are you gals going weak on us? Look all this wolves are low ranking beasts, the strongest one is a level 40, if we can hold them back long enough for Twilight, Rarity and Starlight to cast the “Starfall” or “Meteor shower” will be victorious,” said Rainbow dash with fire in her eyes

“You’ve been spending way too much time with Spike, you’re starting to sound like him,” Applejack said
“Well, obviously I have to, I need him to see that we’re the perfect team, in more ways than professional,” Rainbow said
“Lucky, if I was more athletic, Spike would prefer to train with me,” Twilight said
“Don’t get any funny ideas with my Spikey Wickey,” Rarity said under her breath
“Concentrate, it will be at least 5 more minutes for the girls to make an attack powerful enough to win,” said Sunset “Plus, all this talking about MY Spike is really not good for my form, I’ll accidentally mistake any of them as an enemy,”

A massive beam of light shot up into the sky, catching the wolves attention, and after it started making its descent started to break apart into smaller energy orbs.
As soon as the first orb touched the ground, a blinding light erupted from the impact, and seconds later the rest of the orbes hit the ground.
Large BOOMS could be heard and seen for over 5 miles of land, killing everything in its path, Wolves, trees, flowers and soil, creating a massive dust cloud that could be seen all the way to the Griffon empire, and that was 2 days away from the location.
When the dust settled, Twilight and her group emerged from the magic-made cave that had been their shield for the attack.
The land for the next 7 miles was totaled, and all of the wolves in the pack had been killed
“Do you think we went overboard?” asked Starlight
“Do not worry about the land, it will heal eventually,” came a female voice behind them
“Who are you?” asked Rainbow dash
“My name is Shea, and I am the dryad who protects this land,” Shea said
“Oh, nice to meet you, are you sure it’s ok?” asked Twilight
“Yes, thanks to you, this land can be reborned, and those nasty Timberwolves won’t destroy it too,” Shea said
“I take it they were a problem,” Rarity said earning a look from her friends
“A massive problem, if you hadn’t come they would’ve gone north and joined the Devilwolves pack, and then it would’ve been a bigger problem,” Shea said
“Devilwolves! Near here? That’s a serious problem,” said Sunset
“Yeah, we should tell the castle, or at least the guild master,” said Fluttershy
“That has already been done,” Shea said
“What do you mean?” they all asked
“You have come here to deal with this pack, answering my quest,” Shea said
“You were the one to make that quest?” asked Rainbow dash surprised
“Yes, and thanks to you, I no longer need to worry about this area of the forest being dangerous,” Shea said
“What about the other packs?” asked Pinkie
“Other adventurers have been tasked with dealing with them, and from what my sisters say, they are winning,” Shea said
“Good to know,” said Fluttershy
“Yes… before you leave to start gathering items, allow me to gift you something,” Shea said
They all looked at each other but accepted nonetheless
Shea then proceed to chant a spell, and a green light surrounded the girls
When they opened their eyes they felt a little bit light headed
“What did you give us?” asked Starlight
“A new ability called…” Shea began
“Dryad’s blessing! Thank you so much,” Twilight said
“Ah, I take it you know of this ability?” Shea asked
“Yes, ma’am,” Twilight said
“Well, I’ll leave you now, hope to see you again,” said Shea as she disappeared
“Dryad’s blessing? What’s that?” asked Rainbow
“It’s a scouting enhancer ability, with this ability, it’s impossible for us to get lost in the woods, plus, every combat we have in any wooded area our skills will improve faster,” Twilight said
“Awesome, now I have something to show off to Spike when he returns,” Rainbow said
“If he…” began Fluttershy
“SHUT IT SHY!!!!!!!!!” they all screamed
“Let’s just get to collecting items before it gets to late,” Rarity said in an annoyed tone
And with that everyone began to collect items, when they finished they realized they only had 1 hour before the quest expired, so Twilight decided to use her teleportation magic to get back to the guild faster.
“Woohoo, $150,000, for defeating those wolves, not bad,” said Rainbow
“Yes, a very nice reward,” said Starlight
“Well It’s late and I have to go home and make sure Sweetie Belle didn’t kill Oppal with her food, goodnight girls,” said Rarity
With that everyone started to say their goodbyes and head home.
“Yeah, we’re friends and possibly the best party in Ponyville, but I still wonder… what would’ve happened if things didn’t work out when we met?” said Twilight as she headed home.

“Yes ma’am, the higher your aptitude when it comes to combat, magic or knowledge, the better your rank is, and every quest you take can help you level up, and reach other ranks,” Twilight said
“That is a good summary, now let’s get started,” Listy said as Twilight took to the central stage, “First place your hand on the crystal ball, this will tell us your magic level,”
Twilight did as she was told, and the crystal ball light up
“Good, next, go down the stairs and await my instructions… Ok… DODGE!” she said as Twilight quickly hit the ground, curling up in a fetal position

“They are excellent, especially since you are more of a defence minded adventurer, and what about you Spike?” asked Listy
“Eagle Eye, Teleportation, Speed Demon, Hephaestus Heir, Berserker... that last one says dormant,” Spike said
“Oh, that means that your body isn’t ready for the ability, maybe after a few more quest it will awaken, as for the other abilities, they are impressive nonetheless, especially Hephaestus Heir, that ability lets you use or create any sort of weapon, without having prior knowledge” Listy said
“Well, who would’ve known that me constantly running away from my life’s problems would be so beneficial,” Spike said sarcastically.
“So are we ready Listy?” asked Twilight
“Yes, follow me back to the register to give you your Guild cards,” Listy said as she exited the room.
BACK AT THE RECEPTION
“Here you go, this are your guild cards, you can consider this as your personal IDs, so don’t lose them, it’s not only the only way that we have to identify you, but you need them to earn rewards and be reranked once you level up, and the paperwork required to replace them can give the bravest adventurers nightmares,” Listy said as she handed Twilight, Spike, and Sunset their guild cards.
“Awesome, now let’s go on our first quest… like this one,” said Sunset as she shows Spike and Twilight a quest paper
“Collect Moon Roses petals from the Albian forest, reward $30,000, seems easy enough, let’s do it,” said Twilight
“Unfortunately Twilight, I can’t authorize you to take this quest,” said Listy
“What why?” she asked
“2 reasons, 1) You guys are new, and the Albian forest is a tad dangerous, plus you need a party to take on any quest outside the city of Canterlot,” Listy said
“Then, we’ll form a party, the three of us,” said Twilight
“I like your enthusiasm but unfortunately, you need one more member to be authorize to quest, and that person must be at least a C ranker,” said Listy
‘Why?” asked Twilight
“Because right now, your party is barely a D-, if you get a C ranker, your party level will rise to C, and then you will be able to leave the city limits,” Listy explained
“And where are we gonna find someone to quest with?” asked Sunset
“Well you can place a request and wait for someone to answer, or you can go and recruit someone in town,” said Listy
“And what was the second reason,” asked Spike
“You guys don’t have weapons, I’m I right?” said Listy
They all looked at each other, and had that busted look in their faces
“But, don’t worry, as new members, and valuable prospects I am required by the Guild master to provide you with weapons, so follow me to the armory,” said Listy
When they got to the armory they were surprised by the amount of weapons inside of it.
“Listy? What are you doing here?” asked a female pony walking towards them,
“Hi Heph, I want you to meet the newest guild members, they joined about 5 minutes ago actually,” Listy said
“Well, hello, My name is Hephaestus Flame, I’m 30 years old and I am the guild’s blacksmith, if you guys ever need modifications in your weapons or armor, or any special requests I’m your girl… where are your weapons by the way?” asked Hephaestus
“They don’t have any so …” Listy said
“So you want me to give them some, right?” Hephaestus asked
“If it’s not too much trouble,” said Listy
“Well then, follow me, this is the arsenal we have… don’t choose the flashy weapons, let the weapon choose you,” Hephaestus said
Twilight was the first one to walk up to the arsenal of weapons and armor, she scanned the items until her eyes laid on an enchanted gear combination and staff almost at the end of the arsenal
“The Greatcloak of Friendship, Breastplate of Resistance, Talisman of Bravery, ring of the thousand suns flame, bracers of perseveration, boots of incantation and the staff of infinite magic, That’s a high level mage equipment, I doubt it would be a good idea for you to go out into the wild without adjusting to it,” said Hephaestus as Twilight came out of the Arsenal with the armor on.
Sunset shimmer followed and she looked up and down the arsenal for her perfect armor
“The Breastplate of Adamantite, Bracers of high damage absorsion, Chausses of toughness enhancement, Obsidian Helmet of Bravery, Sabatons of unlimited strength, the Great Sword of prestige, and the Shield of great defense, you really are keen on keeping those close to you safe, but I would like you to go to Master Sergeant Bulk Bicep, for him to train you and help you get used to your armor,” said Hephaestus as Sunset Shimmer walked out and up to the mirror.
“Well At least I look menacing,” she said
“Yeah, but that armor, is not exactly a keeper,” Hephaestus said
“Why?” asked Sunset
“As you grow older and level up, you will start to feel that armor as to heavy and unarticulate, and you’ll have to change it, that armor, is mostly like a giant shield for the new adventurers, it will keep you alive while you level up,” Hephaestus explained
Spike then walked in and started looking around, he wanted an armor, but he knew that he wasn’t coordinated or strong enough to use one properly, them his eyes locked on an interesting piece of equipment
“The Hood of Great fear! The mask of the Grim Reaper, Gloves of Necromancy, the Dagger of Bloodfire, Pants of Deadly Stealth, Boots of Silence, The SWORD OF ARMAGEDDON, AND THE SNIPER RIFLE OF ETERNAL FEAR, Kid, where these items in a coffin at the back of the arsenal?” asked Hephaestus
“Yes ma’am, is that a bad thing?” Spike asked
“Well, you may keep those items, but, for now, I might have to ask you to reenter the arsenal and get something less… flashy, it’s for your own sake,” said Hephaestus
Spike just shrugged and re entered
“Challenger Leather Chestguard, Demonic Rugged Leather Pants, Hood of War, Bracers of Salvation, Warboots of Endless Protection, Reckoning, Sabre of Mercy, Vanquisher Sniper rifle, well that looks less showy and it will help you to avoid attracting attention,” Hephaestus said

“Ok, guys, why don’t you go back to the register, I’ll be there in a second, I just have to finish the inventory list for your new equipment,” said Listy
Twilight and her friends left the room, as soon as the door close Listy turned to Hermes
“Hephaestus…” She started
“You saw it didn’t you? The armor that kid Spike had,” Hephaestus said as she went over to her work table
“Yes… what are the chances…” Listy said
“Of him stealing it? Impossible those pieces of equipment were inside a chest with a magical lock, it was unpickable, plus it was enchanted to only open when their chosen wielder appeared,” Hephaestus said
“But how can that be? He is just an E rank adventurer with a level of 23” asked Listy
“Listy, you know that I possess the mystic eyes of truth, right? It allows me to see if the adventurers took the armor that had selected them, and that armor selected Spike,” Hephaestus said
“What are you trying to say?” asked Listy
“We have probably witnessed the beginning of this country's greatest heroes or worst villains, my advice to the both of us is to keep a close eye on that group, especially the boy, I don’t know why but I feel there is something else to him, like if he is hiding something inside him, but I just don’t know what it is,” Hephaestus said
“I’ll take your advice and I’ll keep an eye on them,” Listy said
“Oh, Listy… before I forget, give Spike this… it’s a magical chest with unlimited capacity, it’s for his armors,” Hermes said as she gave Listy the chest, but it was to heavy for her and made her fall to the floor with it “Should I take it?” she asked
“Please, I’m not that young anymore,” Listy said
“What are you talking about, you're 50 years old, and used to be an A rank adventurer,” Hephaestus said as she grabbed the chest and headed out the door with.
“Here you go Spike, this is for you, it’s a magical chest for your armors,” Hermes said
“Why does he get one and not us?” asked Sunset
“I second that question,” said Spike
“Because this is the only chest I have at the moment, I’ll have one for each of you by the end of the day, trust me,” Hephaestus said as she headed back to her workplace
“Ok then, This chest will make your room look even more cossy than before,” Listy said
But the look on their faces made Listy realize something
“You don’t have a house do you?” she asked
“No, we came here and planned on heading out on our first adventure, get some cash and rent a house for the three of us,” Twilight said
“Well, sorry to disappoint but if you want to rent a house, you guys are going to have to win at least $1,000,000 a week, especially if it has to be big enough for the three of you,” Listy said
“So we’re homeless?” Sunset said
“While you try to think on how to fix your predicament, why don’t you all do some odd jobs,” Listy said
“Odd jobs?” they all asked
“Smaller quest usually given to newcomers and rookies to make a quick buck or two, they’re on the table next to the board, go and take a look at them,” said Listy
The group went over and their mouth almost hit the floor when they saw the large amount of odd jobs, and specially how much they paid
“Listy, how many quests can we do at a time?” asked Twilight
“1, dear, it would be reckless to take more than one at the time, there are exceptions when it come to questing though,” Listy said
“I have an idea, let’s split up and do as many quests as we can during the day, then we see if we can rent a room at the hotel,” said Sunset
“Good idea,” said Twilight
“I’ll take this one, help translate a scroll, from ancient Dragonian to modern english, reward $10,000,” said Spike
“Show off… oh, I’ll do this one, help the royal library organize the books and do inventory, reward $10,000,” said Twilight
“Egghead to the rescue, I guess this one is better suited for me, Help the deliver equipment to the construction sites, reward $10,000,” Sunset said
With that they all headed back to the front desk
“So, I take it, you’ve found the perfect odd jobs,” Listy said
They all nodded and Showed her their quests
“Oh, these odd jobs are ranked at B, so…” Listy said

“Not on my book, I’m just guessing that you’ll finish before noon, regardless I’ll accept them,” said Listy as she grabbed the odd job requests and placed them on the “In progress” bunch
“Ok guys, let’s hurry and do as many odd jobs as possible, we will meet back here at Dawn, OK?’ said Twilight
"Would you like a book with the history and rules of the guild?" Asked Listy
"I'll take it," said Spike as he grabbed the book
"See you later guys," said Sunset
"Wait you should check the rules first… and they're gone, oh well," said Spike as she walked away
"I wonder, what's really on your head Spike, in my 30 years of adventuring I've never met someone as hard to comprehend as you; you seem to have been holding back during the initial training, then the S class armor, and let's not forget of the S class abilities you possess, just who or what are you? " Said Listy to herself

“So, how many did you do?” asked Twilight
“6, I earned at least $43,708 today,” said Sunset
“What about you Spike?” she asked again
“4, and I earned $50,234 today, thanks to the bonuses I received from my employers,” Spike said
“I did, 5, and earned $45,000 man that Library was such a mess, I spend the whole day there helping them,” Twilight said
“So together we made $138,942 by the end of the week we’ll have $972,595, that isn’t enough to buy a home, and I haven’t counted our food expenses,” said Spike
“Well, why don’t you guys rent individual apartments, they are cheaper than houses,” said Listy
“That’s a good idea but, it’s too late to go apartment searching,” said Twilight

They all walked out of the room and headed to the next one
"Here we have a room ment for someone who loves to be in a quiet and peaceful environment, unlike the other room this room possess a bigger living room excellent for entertaining or spending some alone time, this room also includes a special room for magic and alchemy practice, including reinforced windows walls and floor to prevent from any unfortunate accident,"

"Due to the reinforcement of the interior this apartment costs $2300 a month plus tax," Lucky said
"I'll be taking this one" Twilight said
"Wonderful, now as mentioned before allow me to finish the tour before signing the contract," said Lucky
The tour continued for a few more rooms until they reached the last one
"And finally we have a room with a perfect view of the front gate of the city and the most important streets near the market area, this room is perfect for anyone who loves sightseeing and who has a good sight as well, the bedroom in this room is slightly bigger and even possess a balcony, other than that it's highly average,"
"How much does it cost?" Asked Spike
"$1300 a month plus tax," said Lucky

Minutes later Lucky came back with 3 contracts for the group to sign.
"One last thing, there can only be 2 keys for the doors, one that will stay with you and a copy for me, it's for security reasons," said Lucky as soon as they gave him the contracts
"I have a question, don't you think that the prices for this apartments are too low, not that I'm complaining," said Spike
"Well with all the money I have the price doesn't really seem like a problem, I built this apartment complex for fun with money that I didn't really have a use for, so," said Lucky
"Makes sense," said Spike “Not really, no one I know in the trade industry will ever say that line, something really strange is going on here,”
"Well they say time is money, and I must head to the airport before it gets too late, have a good night guys," said Lucky as he got into his Ashton Martin and drove away.
"Don't you think that it's too much of a coincidence that the guild's receptionist has a brother in real estate, who owns an apartment complex with cheap luxury rooms?" Said Twilight
"Better yet, that the rooms we saw were specifically designed for our personal needs," said Spike
"You guys read too much into the situation. I am going to take my new chest to my room and go to bed, night guys," said Sunset.
ONE WEEK LATER
Twilight and Sunset were eating breakfast together, while Spike had left earlier to act as a list filler for a Dungeon clearing team, and wouldn’t be back until noon.
“So, it’s been a very interesting week hasn’t it,” Twilight said
“Yeah, not only did we join the guild, but we also broke the record for the most odd jobs completed in a week and in a day,” Sunset said
“Yeah, Listy’s face was very funny when she found out about it, she even banned us from working on odd jobs today, man I wish we could form a party and go on longer quests,” said Twilight
“You girls are adventurers?” asked a female voice behind them
They turned and were met with a girl not older than them, she had pink, fluffy hair, she stood at around 5’3” and for whatever reason wouldn’t stop bouncing
“Hi my name is Pinkamena, but my friends call me Pinkie Pie, I’m 16 years old, and I’m the best party planner in Equestria,” she said

“Oh, I wish I could join the guild, it sounds like so much fun,” Pinkie said
“Why don’t you?” asked Sunset
“I don’t know where it is,” Pinkie said
“Then follow us, we’re headed there right now,” Twilight said
“Cool, thanks,” said Pinkie as she skipped along side them
“By the way, there is one more member to our group, he is my older half-brother, he is dungeon clearing right now but we’ll see him soon enough,” said Twilight
“Can’t wait to meet him, I love making friends,” Pinkie said
“Let’s just hope we can convince him first,” said Sunset
“Convince him on what?” asked Pinkie
“My brother is a bit of a… organization freak, so naturally he doesn't like to do thing without a traced plan,” said Twilight
“Says, the egghead, who won’t stop talking about how every book in the world should be organized in a specific way,” said Sunset
“Are you trying to get killed?” said Twilight as she and Sunset got in each others faces
“You don’t have the skills,” said Sunset
“You girls are funny,” said Pinkie as she hugged both of them
10 MINUTES LATER
“... and that’s why we want her to join the party,” said Twilight
“Well, welcome aboard,” said Spike in a sarcastic tone
“Just like that?” asked Twilight
“Twilight if we use democracy and vote for her to join or not, I still would lose 2 - 1, plus she does seem like she is keen on joining us,” said Spike
“Cool, I’ll go register right now,” said Pinkie as she hopped away
“Ok, what’s really going on, you usually are against the idea,” said Twilight
“Don’t get me wrong, I am concerned about her, or to be more specific, her hyperactivity,” Spike said
“Why?” asked Sunset
“Being hyper, can make you reckless and impulsive, and that is a very bad mix for when you’re going to go out adventuring, it can make you fall into situations you can’t control and get killed,” Spike said
“But then why?” asked Sunset
“Because it is your dream to become full fledged adventurers, and I promised the 2 of you that I’d do anything in my power to make that dream come true, for me, she is just one more head to protect, that's all,” Spike said as he went back to his book
“This is why I love him,” they both said in their heads simultaneously
“Hey guys, I’m back,” Pinkie said as she came up to them
“That was fast,” said Spike
“Yeah, I got ranked at C, with a level of 75, now I just have to go and get my armor, so I’ll be back in a few seconds,” she said
“She is weird,” said Spike
“Well, at least we managed to create an official party,” Twilight said
“Yeah, now we have to go and register the party to make it official, so I recommend that in the next 30 seconds you chose as name for the party,” said Spike
30 SECONDS LATER
“Hey guys I’m back, what do you think of my armor?” asked Pinkie Pie
“Looks good,” said Sunset
“Yeah, I like the combination,” Twilight said
“Yeah, this is the, Judgement Breastplate of Strength, the Bracers of Optimism, The Iron Skirt of Unlimited Attack, The Legraps of Furry, The boots of Fierceness, and my favorite, the Gloves of Ultimate Assault,” said Pinkie Pie excited
"Interesting names," said Spike
"Hey I got the party registration sheet, let's sign it," said Twilight
"You're an E rank, but that can be," said Pinkie
"I don't mind, I'm not trying to become the best adventurer in history so I don't care about my rank," said Spike
"I'll go give this to Listy, be right back," said Twilight
"Wait, what name did you choose?" Asked Spike
"Elements of Harmony," said Twilight as she headed away
MINUTES LATER
"Ok so we're free to go on our first quest, what should we do?" Asked Twilight
"This one, This one," said Pinkie jumping up and down
"Hunt Pyrocats, reward $200,000," read Sunset
"Seems easy enough," said Twilight
"Pyrocats are, as the name suggests, Big tiger like cats who can breath fire and control fire, they usually hunt in small groups but they are not easily defeated,"
"Perfect, Listy, we'll take this quest," said Twilight
“DIDN’T YOU HEAR WHAT I JUST SAID?!!!” exclaimed Spike
“Don’t be a party pooper,” said Pinkie
“Alright then, but please be careful, Pyrocats tend to be really unpredictable,” Listy said as she took the request
“We will, see you later Listy,” Sunset said as the group left towards Maze mountain
2 HOURS LATER
“So what’s the plan?” asked Sunset
“Live bait,” said Twilight
“What?!” said Sunset
“Pyrocats are really territorial, and at the same time impulsive which means that they would chase any pray or enemy for miles, without stopping,” said Spike
“Cool, then who is going to be the bait?” asked Pinkie
Then all the girls turned around and saw Spike stretching
“Um, Spike, what are you doing?” asked Pinkie
“Oh, you asked who was the live bait that’s me,” said Spike
“Really?!” Pinkie said in surprise
“Yup, I just hope that running from my problems all my life pays off, be ready,” Spike said as he walked over to the entrance of the cave where the Pyrocats lived
“The things I do for Twilight,” said Spike in his head, just as he threw a smoke bomb into the cave
Seconds later a loud roar came out of the cave
“Time to run… I really wish I was Sonic right now,” said Spike as he sprinted away with 10 Pyrocats behind him
“OK, Twi, coming up on the ambush point get ready,” Spike said over his headset
“We are, just don’t stop running,” Twilight said
“Does it seem like I intend to do that? I might be crazy but not suicidal… ok… NOW!” said Spike as he crossed the ravine
“Decadence of Vitality, Arcane-fire Strike!” chanted Twilight as the a massive beam of light shot out of her staff, hitting the Pyrocats,
“Mutilation Shockwave,” said Sunset as she used her shield as a hammer, causing the ground beneath the Pyrocats to brake, making them fall into the ravine
“My turn, EXTERMINATE!” said Pinkie as she revealed 2 big cannons
“Where did those cannons come from?” asked Sunset
“I never leave home without my party cannons,” said Pinkie
“So what? Are you gonna throw party supplies at them?” asked Sunset
“Oh no, my cannons aren’t set to “party” they are set “to kill”” said Pinkie with a creepy smile
“WAIT DON’T SHOOT THE GROUND IS TOO…” said Spike’s voice but it was too late, as Pinkie’s cannon’s fuze consumed itself and shot massive cannon balls at the Pyrocats killing them.
“You see, they're dead, no need to-” said Pinkie but before she could finish, the floor beneath them cracked making it sink, sending them into a massive cave system beneath them.
When Spike awoke, around him, everything was darkness, he rolled to his back and grabbed his backpack, searching for a flashlight.
When he found it he turned it on and started to look around, he didn’t see anyone, and was starting to get worried.
Then a few feet away he noticed Pinkie laying on the floor
“Pinkie!” he said as he crawled towards her
“Pinkie, are you ok?” he asked as he nudged her
“Mom, I don’t want to go to work at the rock farm, just 5 more minutes,” Pinkie said
“Unfortunately we don’t have 5 minutes,” Spike said
“Wha-what? Spike? Where are we?” asked Pinkie confused
“At the bottom of what appears to be a cave network,” Spike said
“Where are Twilight and Sunset?” Pinkie asked
“I don’t know, my headset broke, and I don’t have any signal don’t here,” Spike said
“Oh, are you ok?” asked Pinkie
“Just some scratches and bruises, nothing life threatening so far, what about you, can you walk?” said Spike
“Yeah, I only have a few scratches myself,” Said Pinkie as Spike helped her up
Just then They heard Twilight’s voice in their heads
“Spike, Pinkie are you ok?” she asked
“Yeah, we’re fine, what about you?” asked Spike
“Looks like we’re all here and accounted for, any bad injuries on your side?” asked Sunset
“Negative, you?” asked Spike
“No,” said Sunset
“By the looks of it, we’re in the Peaceful caves, if I’m not mistaken there are 2 exits at either side of the cave, we’ll head west, and you guys head east, if you guys find the exit, we’ll rendezvous at the bottom of the mountain, copy?” said Twilight
“Yeah, see you there… please be careful,” said Spike
“Likewise,” said Twilight
“Ok then, let’s get a move on,” said Spike as he started to walk
20 MINUTES LATER
Spike and Pinkie had been walking nonstop in complete silence, it was so quiet in fact, that they could even hear their own breaths
Although the atmosphere was really heavy and awkward, and it was making Spike really uncomfortable.
“So this is why they call them the cave’s of peace, they are really peaceful, I’m I right,” said Spike as he let out an awkward laugh, but Pinkie didn’t say anything
This made Spike a bit angry causing him to stop and turn around
When he saw Pinkie his anger disappeared, she looked miserable, her hair, usually in a curly puffy mess,was now completely straight and sad, her hair actually covered her left eye, and part of her face; her face usually with an annoying smile, was now lifeless and with a depressing stare, she was even walking rather slowly and facing looking towards the ground.
“Pinkie, what’s wrong?” asked Spike
“It happened again,” she said louder than a whisper
“What?” asked SPike
“It happened again, I went overboard!” Pinkie said
“What do you mean it happened AGAIN,” Spike said
“Everytime I throw a party, I go to the extreme to make it the best party ever, but everytime I try to apply the same energy to questing, I end up making things worse,” Pinkie said as she started to cry.
“Well it is true that you did make us fall into a cave almost killing us, but…” Spike started
“You see, I almost killed you guys,” said Pinkie again
“Hey everything is ok, Twilight and Sunset, found the corpses of the Pyrocats and collected the items to complete the quest, so I have to say that you were really helpful,” Spike said
“Yes, but I nearly killed everyone again, I don’t think…” said Pinkie
“What do you mean when you say AGAIN?” asked Spike
Pinkie remained silent for a few seconds
“When I was younger, I lived with my parents in a rock farm, in Rockville, a day or 2 south of here. We were “Happy” for the most part, but… I never saw my parents or siblings smile, they were always frowning, they never said yokes, they never asked if you had a good day, it was always work, work, work, more work, and work again. And one day I had enough. I started to ask those questions, but they were always met with indifference… Then one day, the most amazingly-strange thing happened. Me and my sisters were harvesting the rocks of the east quarter and then moving to the south quarter; as soon as they were done they headed home to eat dinner, I was about to join them, when I heard a loud BOOM!!! I looked up yo the sky and saw a massive Rainbow appear out of nowhere, the view of it, it made me so happy, that I just couldn’t help to smile, and I wanted to share that happiness with everyone, saw I stayed up all night and made my family a party, at first they didn’t like it, but slowly they began to enjoy themselves and have fun, and from that day onward I just felt that it was my calling to make people have fun, and become a party planner,” said Pinkie
Spike stood there in silence listening with just one thought in his head ‘What does that have to do with my question?”
“When I turned 14 I left home and travelled around doing parties everywhere and for everyone, until one day, I arrived at Canterlot, and I saw all of these explorers and adventurers, their lifestyle caught my eye and I wanted to give it a shot at becoming an adventurer. So, one day, I asked a group of adventurers if I could tag along to see what it was like to be one. They said that it was ok, since they were going on an easy hunting quest… Well, when we got to the area, they all started to hunt…” said Pinkie
“What were they hunting?” asked Spike
“Fulgu-sabertooths,” said Pinkie
“They thought THAT was easy, those things kill more people a year than homicides in the kingdom,” said Spike
“They sure felt confident then, they said they were all S-class,” said Pinkie
“Do you remember their names?” asked Spike
“I never asked them, but from the 4 members of the group I remember that there was 1 female adventurer with Green and Black hair, she was also tall, and had the body of a model, and the other 3 men treated her like a queen of sorts,” said Pinkie
“Huh, I haven’t seen anyone with that description in the guild, maybe their out on one of those long quests,” said Spike
“Anyway, we were hunting, we accidentally came across one of the known “Migrations” that these cats tend to do, and so, we were quickly overrun, so I decided to use my party cannons… I loaded them up to the max with stones and pebbles, and once they were ready I fired, the destruction IT caused was jaw dropping, the whole valley was reduced to a dead landscape, no tree, rock, animal, or even a nearby mountain were left untouched. For whatever reason, all that destruction made me happy. But then I saw the adventurers, their faces were covered in horror… “You’re a danger to all,” they said, “Don’t even think of joining the guild… ANYWHERE!” they finished… a few days later I skipped town and, went to Manehattan, and again, I lost control of myself and ended up doing the same thing over and over again, especially on the entrance exams… and now, when I finally get a chance to become a full member of the guild, even more so, a member of your party, I blew it, and almost got you guys killed… I’m not adventurer material…” said Pinkie as she started to cry again.
Spike then walked up to her “Listen, I know you feel guilty about what happened, but don’t worry, everyone makes mistakes, no one is perfect, plus no one was killed… well except for the Pyrocats, but that was the whole point of the quest,” Spike said with a smile but Pinkie didn’t say anything
“What I’m trying to say is that, don’t cry over spilled milk, the quest was a success, and we get to adventure another day,” Spike said
“Do you think I can still be part of this party after almost killing us all?” said Pinkie
“You can count on it, I can tell that after this you really understood why you have to be a bit less impulsive, and learn from this mistake, plus the girls really like to have you around, and I have to admit, I kind of like to have you around, so, what do you say? Team?” said Spike as he moved a string of hair out of Pinkie’s eyes
“Team!” said Pinkie as her hair puffed up and she tackled Spike into a bear hug
“Can’t… breath,” said Spike as he suffocated
“Ups, sorry,” said Pinkie as she let go of him
“Now… let’s go home,” said Spike as they continued walking towards the entrance of the cave.
“Kay!” Pinkie said as she skipped along side Spike as they neared the entrance of the cave
:I should look into this matter, according to the rules, if those adventurers agreed to take Pinkie with them, they should’ve reported it to the guild, not to mention, Listy did tell me something about a hijacked local quest that resulted in mysterious devastation of the landscape… did someone steal a quest from the guild?”
A FEW MINUTES LATER
“SPIKEEEEEE!!!!!!!!” both Twilight and Sunset screamed as they jumped on him
“I’m so glad you’re ok!” said Sunset Shimmer
“Me too,” said Spike
“And you too, of course Pinkie, glad to see that your not injured,” said Twilight
“Thanks… sorry about the…” Pinkie Began
“It’s alright, that was one awesome display of force, I’m glad you decided to join our party!” said Twilight
Pinkie was really amazed, she thought that they were going to be angry, but all of them had smiles on their faces.
“Let’s go home, I’ve had enough for one day,” said Sunset
And with that everyone headed home.
During the trip back, Pinkie was still awfully quiet, so Spike decided to talk to her
“Pinkie, if you’re worried about your power, why don’t you let me help, I might not be particularly strong, but I’ve learned some very useful self-control tricks, who knows, you might even get stronger,” said Spike with a smile
“Thanks,” said Pinkie, but as soon as her eyes made contact with Spike’s face and smile, she felt something weird “Did my heart just skip a beat?”
“No problem, that’s what friends are for… I think,” said Spike
“There it is again, my heart had never skipped a beat before… and why do I feel so hot and flustered when I see him?... don’t tell me…” though Pinkie as she and the rest headed home.

Equestria Ch. 3 A confusing friend/ Flying high
2 MONTHS LATER
Our group of heroes has grown closer over the last couple of weeks and have been doing plenty of quests, it has come to the point that people call them then “great 4” since they have become the “Go to” party for quick quests.
And today was not an exception, the only difference was that they weren’t near their home turf.
Their current mission was to deliver a massive amount of supplies to the mountain city of Cloudsdale and help out with any other urgent quests.
Currently our heroes find themselves hiking a mountain trail leading to one of the guard outposts to begin their mission.
“Remind me again why we don’t buy a car?” asked Pinkie
“Cause I am the only member of the group with an actual license, and it was cheaper to ask the Caravan heading this way to help us carry the supplies, in return for our protection for the trip,” Spike said
“That’s not true… is it?” asked Pinkie
“Yup, Twilight here has never been too… interested in the idea, as for me… I failed the test twice by one point,” Sunset said
“Well that sucks, I’m still waiting for my license in the mail,” said Pinkie
“Show off!” Both Twilight and Sunset said as they looked at Pinkie hopping happily next to Spike
“Say, Pinkie, don’t you think that you’re too close to Spike?” said Twilight
“Is that a bad thing?” Pinkie asked back
“No!” Both of them said trying to hide their jealousy
“Ok then, hey Spike what is our current mission?” asked Pinkie as she hugged Spike’s right arm, placing it between her breasts
“PINKIE!!” both Twilight and Sunset said
“Our current mission is to head to the Torrent Valley and kill The Matriarch Grieve Monster and as many Grieve monsters we can,” Spike said
“Cool… where is the Torrent Valley anyway?” asked Pinkie
And with that Spike came to a complete halt
“I have no idea,” he said
“Did you ask at the guildhall?!” said Sunset getting closer to Spike
“I thought you did,” said Spike locking heads with her
“Guys, guys, relax, plus it’s not Spike’s fault…” Twilight said
“Yeah, it’s mostly your fault,” said Pinkie
“What?” asked Twilight
“You told us to leave our phones at home, that we didn’t need them,” Pinkie said
“I just did want to lose our phones!” Twilight protested
“Well, now WE might be lost,” said Sunset
“SILENCE!” Spike screamed catching everyone’s attention “Fighting with each other is not going to help us solve our predicament,” said Spike
“You’re right, but Spike, we’re in the middle of this forest road, with no idea of where we are, or where we’re going, we have all the right to panic,” Sunset said
“Well, our phones wouldn’t really help us much, there is probably no signal here,” Spike said as he climbs a small hill and sits down under a tree with the girls behind him
“What are we going to do?” asked Twilight
At the distance, Spike saw a farmer and his wagon heading for the city, he got up and headed towards him
“Where are you going?” asked Twilight
“To do the least manliest thing I’ve done so far… ask for directions,” Spike said as he headed up the road to talk to the farmer
The girls just looked at each other and continued to sit in silence, until they heard a scream
They quickly turned around and noticed something in a clearing nearby, there was a girl, not older than them, and it seemed like she was running for her life.
Seconds later a large pack of Grieve monsters appeared behind her chasing her.
“Are you seeing what I’m seeing?” asked Pinkie
“Who cares we have to help her!” said Twilight as she dashed towards the girl
The girl ran for a few more minutes before tripping on a root and falling down an embankment to a small stream
When she turned around she saw that the Grieve monsters were almost on top of her, she tried to get up but couldn’t when she tripped he had injured her ankle, and when she rolled down the embankment she had injured her wings, all she could do was close her eyes in fear and accept her fate
BOOM
“Are you ok?” asked Twilight as she landed next to her
The girl didn’t say anything since she was terrified
“Let’s get these things dealt with,” Sunset said as she charged into the group of Grieve beasts
“Right behind you Sunset,” said Pinkie as she started punching left and right nonstop
“Just stay down, we’ll protect you,” said Twilight as she started to chant incantations
After a few seconds, they had successfully killed all the monsters that were chasing the girl
“And with that, we finish part of our quest,” said Sunset
“Yeah, I don’t know why Spike was so concerned about fighting these things they weren’t so hard to kill,” said Pinkie
“Are you o… k?” said Twilight as they all saw that the bodies of all the dead Grieve monsters were morphing together and creating a massive version of themselves
“Twilight is that normal?” asked Pinkie in fear
“Better question, can we even defeat that?” asked Sunset
“She’s here,” said the girl in fear
“Who is here?” asked Twilight
“The Matriarch of the Grieve monsters, she’s here to kill us all,” said the girl as tears fell from her eyes
With that, they all looked at the beast before them, and for whatever reason, their legs wouldn’t move, worse was the fact that a terrible sense of sadness was taking over their bodies
“Get behind me, if this thing attacks, at least let me die first,” said Sunset
“NO! I won’t let you,” said Twilight
Then the Grieve monster lifted one of its paws ready to strike, all the girls closed their eyes and waited for the end.
BANG
The sound of the shot could be heard all throughout the valley
The girls opened their eyes and saw the Matriarch falling to the floor lifeless, a single bullet hole exactly between the eyes
They all looked at each other in confusion.
“You know, the next time you’re gonna run off and act as heroines at least warn me,” said Spike walking up to them cooly reloading his sniper rifle
“Sorry,” they all said
“Well at least no one is dead,” Spike said as he went over to the Matriarch and removed her teeth
“Ok, that completes the quest,” said Spike
“What about her underlings?” asked Pinkie
"The Matriarch only appears when you kill all of her underlings if you would’ve waited for me to explain maybe you would’ve been more prepared," said Spike
Spike then noticed the girl on the floor and walked up to her
"Hi, my name is Spike, this is my half sister Twilight, my childhood friend Sunset Shimmer, and our friend Pinkie Pie, what is your name? He said
"My name is Fluttershy," said the girl louder than a whisper
"Fluttershy, nice name, now, mind telling us, what were you doing in this area of the valley so close to the Grieve Monster's nest without the appropriate armor or weapons?" Said Spike
"It was the only quest that the guild allowed me and my best friend to take, but I thought I could tame the monster," Fluttershy explained
"Bad move, this type of monster can't be tamed," said Spike
"Why? They look like bears to me," said Pinkie
"Common misconception, Grieve monsters usually take the form of a bear, but in reality they are not even alive," Spike said
"WHAT?!!!" they all said
"Yeah, this things are actually cemetery guardians, but they don't really attack living beings," Spike said
"I beg to differ," said Sunset
"Well, they don't attack when they are guardians, this ones have been possessed by demonic entities," Spike said
"So wait, if they are Zombies, would they eat us after killing us?" Askes Sunset
"Not exactly, they'll just turn you into Zombies, or Grieve Phantoms, whatever happens first," said Spike
"Ok that's scary, well the quest is complete so let's head back to the guild home, get paid and go home," said Twilight
"Yeah, I would like to have a word with the guild master," said Spike
"Can you walk?" Asked Sunset
"No, I twisted my ankle and I think I injured my wings," said Fluttershy
"There is a healer near the entrance of the town, we'll take you there," said Spike
"How?" Asked Fluttershy
She hadn't finished her thought when Spike scoped her up, and carried her back to town, princess style
The suddenness of the whole situation took Fluttershy by surprise and once she noticed how close she was to Spike she blushed hard
"LUCKY," said the other girls jealous of her
MINUTES LATER
"Here we are this is the healer," said Spike as he walked into the store
"Welcome to New Age Elixirs, my name is Misty Mane, who can I be of service?” said a girl in her early 20s
"Our friend had a run in with some Grieve Monsters and she twisted her ankle and injured her wings," said Twilight
"Oh, poor thing, take her to the back, I have the perfect remedy for this," said Misty as he headed to one of her counters
"Thanks for carrying me all this way," said Fluttershy
"Don't mention it," said Spike
"I hope I wasn't that heavy," said Fluttershy
"As heavy as a feather," said Spike

"Ok, here we go, this is the…" Misty began
"FLUTTERSHY ARE YOU OK?!" said a female voice at the entrance of the shop
"Can I help you?" Asked Misty
"My friend Fluttershy I heard that she was here," said the girl
"Rainbow Dash?" Said Fluttershy popping her head out the door
"FLUTTERSHY, THANK GOD, after you got scared and ran, those things ran over me and started chasing you, I thought… I thought you were..." Rainbow Dash said as she started to tear up.
"No, but almost, I managed to run nonstop for about 10 miles until they saw me and rescued me," said Fluttershy
"That's a very impressive distance," said Twilight
"Nonstop," said Sunset
"Her back must be killing her," said Spike
"I'm hungry," said Pinkie
Rainbow Dash turned to face her friends saviors
"Thank you for saving her," Rainbow Dash said
"Don't thank us, thank him, he shot the matriarch before she finished us up, and he even carried her here," said Sunset
Rainbow turned to face Spike
"Don't mention it," said Spike
"Ok, you'll be good as new in 5 minutes," Misty said
"Thanks," Fluttershy said
"Oh, I haven't introduced myself yet, My name is Rainbow Dash, I'm 16 years old, and the fastest and best adventurer to ever live,"
Spike looked at her funny and said
"I thought that was Daring Do,"
"Huh, are you a Daring Do fan?" Asked Rainbow Dash
"Maybe?" Said Spike
"How many books have you read?"Asked Rainbow Dash
"Just about… every single one,"
"Really? On 3 say the best Daring Do book ever 1… 2… 3," Rainbow Dash said

"So, now that introductions are taken care of, can you tell me what possessed the 2 of you to go and fight the Grieve monsters?" Spike asked

As soon as that came out of her mouth, she and the rest of the girls started to feel rather uneasy

"But there are no rats in the guild, only adventurers," said Pinkie

"Say, Mr. Mayor, who's the current guild master?" Asked Spike
"One of the best adventurers of all time, Hurricane," said the Mayor
"So this guy knows the rules," said Spike "this is going to be interesting,"
"Mr. Mayor, it's imperative that no one recognizes you, so please put this on," said Spike as he gave the Mayor a face mask and a robe
"Ok, I am supposed to meet with the guild master to deliver a "package" from Mayor Mare, so he's expecting us, Dash, Shy, you stay downstairs it might get ugly and we might need back up," said Spike
"Ok," said Rainbow Dash as she cracked her knuckles
"Ok, showtime," said Spike as they entered the guild
Everyone stopped and stared at them for a few seconds as they walked towards the registration booth
"Hi, we're from the Ponyville guild, we have a package for Mr. Hurricane," Spike said
"Sure, if you can hand it over, I'll…" said the receptionist
"I have direct orders to deliver it personally," said Spike

Spike and the gang went up the stairs and into the guild master's office
"Ah, you must be the envoy from Ponyville, Hurricane at your service," said Hurricane
"Pleasure, my name is Spike, this is my half sister Twilight Sparkle, and our friends Sunset Shimmer, Pinkie Pie, and Diamond Blitz," said Spike
"Nice to meet you all, now about the package?" Asked Hurricane

"Well… it has been brought to my attention that some of your adventurers aren't aloud to register for quests and have been blacklisted, can you tell me more about this," said Spike
"I don't know what you're talking about the guild is always receiving new quests, it must be misunderstanding," said Hurricane playing dumb
"Oh, come, come, sir, you don't take us for fools, do you?" Asked Spike in a mocking tone
"Of course not, such esteemed adventurers like you, are way to clever,” said Hurricane
"Well unfortunately for you, we saw this situation with our own eyes, and when we talked to your receptionist she sang like a bird," said Sunset taking everyone by surprise
"That airheaded bitch, I'll deal with you later , I assure you it must've been a misunderstanding, I'll look into it personally," said Hurricane
“Is this guy really that stupid," said Spike
"Well it must be a very big misunderstanding, since we saw an adventurer by the name Rainbow Dash get turned down and lied to all morning, and after asking around, we discovered that some of your adventurers are really surprised by all this, it is causing confusion and delay with the others, and it has been like this for weeks," said Twilight joining in
"Not to mention, it a very simple pattern, everyone gets a quest except Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy," said Pinkie
"Oh don't believe a word of what that prankster says, she should be thankful that I… WE, still allow her to enter the guild, considering all the tricks and stunts she has pulled over this past 6 months,"
"Bingo, we touched a nerve, Mr. Hurricane, I believe you know the adventures rules and guidelines, taking into consideration your impressive curriculum," said Spike
"Yes, sir, you can ask me anything and I will answer," said Hurricane proudly
"Is that so, well mind telling me rule 15, paragraph 2 section B, please," said Spike
"No guild master can blacklist any adventurer for personal reasons or gain, doing so is considered treason and must be reported to the mayor," he said
"It seems to me that is what's going on," said Spike
"Surely you jest," said Hurricane
"No, if you add the dots, and add your last statement, this matches the description to a T," said Twilight
"Ok, maybe I've been pressing them to quit from the shadows, but can you blame me, I've had it with her pranks," said Hurricane
"You do understand that you're committing treason right?" Asked Spike
"So what, that idiot of a mayor will never find out, I'll make sure of it myself," said Hurricane moving his arm to grab something under the desk

"Are you threatening me boy?" Said Hurricane lifting his sword
"Who, me? Oh no sir, I wouldn't dare threaten you," Spike said in a sarcastic tone "it's more of a… warning," said Spike as his tone turned deadly serious, then he quick drew his dagger and threw it at Hurricane's wrist making him drop the sword
"You dare attack me? Hoho, there'll be hell to pay kid," said Hurricane

At that moment Mr. Mayor removed his disguise and stood in front of them
"Any last comments?" Said the Mayor
"No sir, none at all," said Hurricane,
"Then as of this second you're relieved from your duties, Guards!! Take him away," said the Mayor.
But before he could finish the order, Hurricane grabbed Spike’s dagger and threw it at the mayor.
In a split second reaction Spike moved his right arm in front of the mayor as the dagger landed and went through Spike’s right hand, stopping it.
“ARGH! Good thing I’m left handed,” Said Spike as he knelt down
“SPIKE! ARE YOU OK!” both Twilight and Sunset asked
“Yeah, don’t let him escape!” said Spike
“You dared injure my brother, YOU’LL PAY!” said Twilight as she started to chant various spells, which Hurricane dodged easily.
“Sit down, BITCH!” said Hurricane as he threw a cannon ball at Twilight, hitting her in the stomach.
“Twilight! Are you ok?” asked Sunset
“Yup… just… winded,” said Twilight catching her breath
Sunset then rushed Hurricane with her shield, Hurricane was unable to dodge the attack, flying out of the wall as Sunset made contact with him.
Hurricane got up and started to run away
“GUARDS!!! GET HIM!!!!!” screamed Mr. Mayor
“What’s going on in here?” asked Rainbow dash, as she and Fluttershy entered the room
“SPIKE!!! ARE YOU OK?!” asked Fluttershy as she rushed to Spike’s side
“I’m fine, it didn’t hit any major arteries,” said Spike as he pulled the dagger out of his palm
“What happened here?” asked Rainbow Dash
“My suspicions were true, your Guild master was pushing you out of the guild and was giving most of the quests to his favorite adventurers,” said Spike
“He was?” said Rainbow Dash getting angry
“Yeah, when we cornered him he attacked us and tried to kill the mayor, then he bailed,” said Twilight getting up
“Which way did he go?” asked Rainbow dash, murder in her eyes
Pinkie Pie pointed at the direction Hurricane had escaped
“Is better to let the guards take care of that traitor,” said the mayor But Rainbow Dash then flew out of the hole in the wall and went after Hurricane
“I must go with her, she might end up killing him,” said Fluttershy as she flew out flowing Rainbow Dash
“Pinkie! Come with me, Sunset, you stay here and protect the mayor and Twilight,” said Spike
“Copy, be careful,” said Sunset as Spike and Pinkie jumped out of the hole in the wall.
A FEW MINUTES LATER IN ONE OF THE OBSCURED PASSAGEWAYS IN THE CITY
“Huff, I’m not as young as I used to be… those damn kids, I’ll take care of them, especially the overgrown lizard,” said Hurricane as he covered his head with a hood and walked away.
“GOING SOMEWHERE?!” came a female voice as Hurricane looked a\up and saw Rainbow Dash sitting on the ledge of a house roof.
Hurricane started running as fast as he could, but Rainbow dash kept close to him.
After a few minutes of chasing Dash had enough and tackled Hurricane, unknowingly, she had tackled him in an area where there was a small depression to enter a new residential district, and so, both of them fell onto a nearby house’s roof.
“Well, that’s gonna hurt tomorrow,” said Rainbow Dash as she got up
“I knew you were annoying, and I’ve had enough,” said Hurricane as he got out a sword and lunged at Rainbow Dash.
Dash skillfully avoided and dodged every attack, once she saw an opening she threw a kick, connecting with Hurricane’s jaw, making him stagger backwards
“You little piece of shit, I’ll show you!” said Hurricane
“Bring it on you senile old man,” said Rainbow Dash with a smirk
Hurricane and Rainbow Dash exchanged blow after blow for a full minute non stop until Rainbow dash skillfully dodged one of Hurricane’s attacks and then kicked the sword right out of his hands making it fall off the roof.
“Checkmate, give up Hurricane,” said Rainbow Dash
“We’ll see about the checkmate… Great winds of the north, Powerful winds of the south, come forth, give me strength to obliterate my enemies once and for all… TORNADO HAMMER!!!” said Hurricane as his fist was engulfed in wind, lunging forward and connecting a hit on Rainbow Dash’s gut, sending her flying into a nearby wall.
Dash fell back onto the roof, but was unable to move, consciousness escaping her
Hurricane then pulled out a dagger from his pocket and and walked towards her
“You’ve been a pain in my ass for too long Dash, but I’m glad I get to make that end today… Who's checkmated now?” Hurricane said as he raised the dagger and was about to impale Rainbow Dash’s heart when…
“STAY AWAY FROM HER!!!!!” came a scream
Hurricane looked up only to be met with a pair of wedges kicking him square in the face
“ARGH!!!” screamed Hurricane as he flew to the other side of the roof.
“Don’t you dare hurt my friend anymore,” said Fluttershy as she extended her wings to cover Rainbow Dash from Hurricane’s view.
“Ah, Fluttershy… glad to see you could join us… now get out of the way, we both know you don’t stand a chance against me,” said Hurricane as he got up and started walking back towards the 2 girls.
“No! I’m… I’m not afraid of you anymore!” said Fluttershy
“Really?” said Hurricane “Then why are you shaking?” he finished
Fluttershy looked and saw that her legs were shaking.
“Tell you what… you get out the way, and I promise that I won’t hurt that nice looking ass of yours… in fact, I’ll give it a nice, big treat,” said hurricane getting closer as Fluttershy started to step backwards.
“I promise that it won’t hurt… much, I mean… your anus is going to stretch a bit but…” He continued as he got closer to Fluttershy, his hand almost touching her breasts
Fluttershy closed her eyes in fear, but something inside her took over, and unconsciously she moved her left arm

Hurricane flew threw the air until he landed on a nearby roof

Hurricane got up and looked back at her
“I WILL END YOU, YOU FUCKING WHORE!!!!!” he screamed as he got up and air lunged himself towards her
Fluttershy got into a fighting stance, and prepared for the impact but then.
“Oh no you don’t, that’s no way to treat a girl,” said Pinkie Pie as she fell on top of Hurricane making him go threw the roof of the house
“Are you ok?” asked Pinkie
“Yeah, but what about Dash?” said Fluttershy
Pinkie walked over to her “She’s fine, just knocked out, she’ll wake up in a few minutes,” she said
“Then I better kill you before she wakes,” said Hurricane as he flew through the roof with his sword in hand
“Fluttershy get behind me,” said Pinkie as she got into a battle stance
“Say goodbye, OH, ASTRAL WIND, GRANT THE STRENGTH OF NATURE, STRENGTH TO RIVAL THAT OF GOD… HURRICANE SLASH!!!” roared Hurricane as he slashed the wind creating a massive air wave.
The girls closed their eyes awaiting the impact of the attack but it never came; when they opened their eyes they saw Sunset Shimmer in front of them.
“Sunset! Weren't you with Twilight?” Pinkie asked
“She told me to give you guys a hand, and man was that close,” said Sunset as she stood up
“Too close for comfort,” said Pinkie
“You girls don’t get it do you… you can’t defeat me, I am a God, I am over all of you, I AM UNDESTRUCTA… UFF!!,” said Hurricane as he suddenly fell to the ground in front of them
“Yeah, yeah, go to sleep you overgrown baby,” said Spike as he landed next to the girls, his sniper rifle fuming.
“Spike… did you…?” said Fluttershy
“Kill him?... nah, I just shot a tranquilizer dart up his ass, he won’t wake up for a couple of hours,” said Spike
“Thanks for the help,” said the guards as they landed around Hurricane and hoisted him away
“This one is going to be locked up for a long while,” said the captain of the coin guard
“We better head back to the guild,” said Spike as he picked Rainbow Dash up, just as she was regaining consciousness
“What happened?” she asked
“You got your ass handed to ya,” said Spike
“Oh, WAIT, WHAT? HOW DID THAT HAPPENED, AND… why are you carrying me?” asked Rainbow Dash
“It wouldn’t be wise to let you walk for a while,” said Spike
“Oh,” said Rainbow Dash
“Got a problem with it?” asked Spike
Rainbow Dash just blushed and remained silent.
BACK AT THE GUILD MASTER’S OFFICE
"Well done guys, you have been a great help," said the Mayor
"That's one problem taken care of, now for the other one, put your disguise back on," said Spike as they made their way back downstairs
"So I take it he confessed," Rainbow Dash said
"More like confessed and assassination attempt," said Pinkie
"Now what?" Asked Fluttershy
"The second problem," said Twilight
"Dash, can I see the quest paper," said Spike
"Hunt and kill the Grieve Monster Matriarch, pay $100,000, rank D, but that can't be," said the Mayor through the mask
"Something wrong sir," asked Fluttershy
"Many things Fluttershy, I made this request and I'm pretty sure I wrote Rank A quest, give only to A rankers or higher," said the Mayor
Then Twilight Sparkle grabbed the paper and applied some magic to it
"Just what I thought, magic ink," said Twilight
"The ink that makes information disappear, and can only be detected by magic," said the Mayor
"Rainbow Dash, who gave you this request?" Asked Spike
"Another adventurer named Lightning Dust, I knew there was something off with her behavior, she's never that nice," said Rainbow
"Where is she?" Asked the Mayor
"There the girl with the golden hair," said Fluttershy
Spike and the Mayor got up and walked towards her
"Hey, are you Lightning Dust?" Asked Spike
"The one and only, and who are you handsome?" Lightning Dust asked
"Someone who is looking for an explanation regarding this," said Spike as he showed her the paper
Lightning Dust's face spelled guilty as she turned pail
“That is a quest request, nothing more,” Lightning Dust lied
“Yeah, one that you deliberately modified and gave to one of your fellow adventurers,” said Spike
“What are you talking about?” said Lightning Dust
“I know very well that this request had different information,” said the Mayor still in his disguise
“This accusations are ridiculous, plus there is no way you can prove it,” Lightning Dust said with a confident smirk
“Yes there is, I wrote this quest personally,” said the Mayor removing his disguise
Lightning Dust’s face turned even paler than before
“Worst part is, your own arrogance made you confess to the crime,” said The Mayor
“Mr. Mayor… no, it’s all a misunderstanding,” said Lightning Dust
“Mr. Mayor we found this in Lightning Dust’s locker,” said Sunset coming up to them
“Magic Ink… what a coincidence,” said the Mayor
“That’s not mine, someone must’ve placed it in my locker,” said Lightning Dust
“Lightning Dust, I used to be a Detective, and so far nothing you have said has convinced me that you’re innocent, not to mention that your fingerprints are all over the jar,” said the Mayor
Lightning Dust knew she was caught, but decided to play one last card

Lightning Dust was once again defeated
“Anything else to say?” asked Spike
“No,” she said in a very emotionless voice
“So, you don’t have any remorse at all, you could’ve gotten 2 of your compared killed, and for what?” asked the Mayor
“She deserves it, she always bragged about being the best, she even made me look like a fool in front of everyone,” said Lightning Dust
“I think you don’t understand the seriousness of the situation,” said Spike
“Huh?” said Lighting Dust
“If Fluttershy hadn’t tripped and me and my friends hadn’t intervene, she might’ve reached the city, you would’ve been completely over run, and the death toll would’ve been in the hundreds, not to mention the damages would’ve been in the millions,” said Spike
Lightning Dust remained quiet
“Lightning Dust, due to your actions you leave me no choice but to… exile you from the guild, you are to turn in all you guild ID and by sunrise tomorrow you are not to be anywhere near the guild or the city,” said the Mayor
“Don’t you think that’s a little harsh?” said Twilight
“It’s that or spend the next 10 years in prison and then be exiled,” said the Mayor
Lightning Dust got up and headed to the room she was renting in the guild, all eyes were on her.
Minutes later she came back down carrying a backpack, headed to the door and walked out of the guild
“I swear, I’ll make you pay Rainbow dash, you and all of your friends, including the hot dragon boy,” Lightning Dust said as she reached the main gate to the city
“Revenge is a dish best served cold,” said a male voice
Lightning Dust turned to her left and saw a man with a hood on
“Who are you?” asked Lightning
“Someone who is also searching for revenge, and as of right now, your only option,” said the man as he extended his hand
Lightning looked at his hand and then back at him
“What is your offer?” she asked
“Join my guild, and help me become the best guild master ever, in return I’ll give you a roof, work, and most importantly, the chance to get revenge on your enemies,” said the man
“Deal,” said Lightning Dust
“Then hold on, tight,” he said as he opened his wings and dashed out of sight, with Lightning Dust
BACK AT THE GUILD
“I’m sorry for all the trouble you’ve gone through,” said the Mayor
“Water under the bridge,” said Rainbow dash
“It wasn’t your fault sir,” said Fluttershy
“What would be your next move?” asked the Mayor
Rainbow dash and Fluttershy looked at each other, and then at their new friends who were leaving the guild
“I think our time at this Guild is over, thanks again for everything,” said Rainbow Dash
“Well, I won’t stop you, but please take this, it’s the least I can give you, plus it can help you in your new home,” said the Mayor giving Rainbow dash and Fluttershy envelopes with $1,000,000 each
“Thank you, sir,” said Fluttershy
“No thank you, and once again I’m truly sorry, but please come back to visit,” said the Mayor as he waved goodbye to the 2 friends
“Where to know?” asked Pinkie
“Back home, I’ve had it with questing for a few days,” said Spike
“Mind if we tag along?” said a female voice behind them
They all turned to see Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy walking up to them
“Are you sure?” asked Twilight
“Yeah, with friends like these, who wants enemies, plus…” she said walking up to Spike “I can just let my new Friendly Rival leave without a proper challenge
“So would you like a race, right now?” asked Spike
“I LOVE the way you think?” asked Rainbow Dash in a seductive voice while having a seductive smile on her face
“Can we just go and collect some of our things, before leaving?” asked Fluttershy
“Sure, take your time,” said Sunset
“In the meantime, what do you say we go catch a bite,” said Pinkie as she quickly dashed forward, grabbing Spike’s arm pulling him away from Rainbow Dash
“Ah, Finally a worthy adversary, no offence Shy, but your innocence will be your downfall,” said Rainbow dash as she saw Pinkie and Spike disappear around the corner
3 DAYS LATER BACK AT PONYVILLE GUILD
“So, during your trip you managed to make $4,560,705, between all of you, that is amazing,” said Derpy
“Yeah, and it’s all thanks to this guy,” said Sunset as she placed her arm on Spike’s shoulder

“Ah, a classic Rogue, just like Spike here,” said Pinkie
“Seriously, just how many things do we have in common, he is like the perfect match for me and my awesomeness,” said Rainbow Dash
“And I have the, Prime Breastplate of Purity, Champion Guarding Angel Skirt, Thunder-Forged Wool Leggings, Warboots of Eternal justice, Braces of Righteousness, Gloves of Enhanced strength, Hammer of Demolition,” said Fluttershy in her shy tone
“Wait, you’re a TANK TYPE ADVENTURER,” they all said in surprise
“Yes, I am really strong when it comes to physical aspects but, I also tend to get scared easily,” said Fluttershy
Just then she caught Spike looking at her, this made her turn bright red
“Problem there Spike, you haven’t stopped looking at Fluttershy since she came,” said Rainbow dash
“Yeah, Spike, any PROBLEM?” said Twilight crushing his left foot, as she and the rest of the girls gave him a scary look
“I’m just wondering… you’re wearing all those armor pieces with heavenly names, yet they barely cover your… assets,” said Spike
This comment made Fluttershy even redder and infuriated the girls even more

“So he was looking at me! I wonder why this makes me happy,” she said

“I got this from one of the vendors outside the guild for helping him in a minor predicament he was facing, turn around, please,” Spike said as he got up
Fluttershy did as she was told, but she was so nervous she closed her eyes
“I wonder what he is going to give me, I hope it’s not a trapp, wait he is Spike, he just saved my life, there is no way he’ll…” she said
Then she felt something being placed around her neck
“This is a Talisman of Courage, everytime you feel afraid, just look at it, and remember how brave you were back at Cloudsdale, with the Grieve monsters, and, especially when you fought Hurricane,” said Spike as Fluttershy held the talisman on her hands
Fluttershy listened to Spike, but all she could hear him say was “Take this Talisman as my marriage proposal, be mine forever,”
“Fluttershy? Fluttershy? Are you in there?” asked Spike
“Huh, oh yeah, what’s the problem?” she asked
“You just stared at my face for the last minute without saying anything,” said Spike
“Oh no, sorry, I was just taken by surprise by your gift, thank you,” she said

“SPIKE!!!!” said the rest of the girls as they looked at the scene before them
“Well, I have to go, see you later girls,” said Spike as he grabbed his things and headed out the door
“Bye,” they all said, but as soon as he was out of sight they turned to look at the Talisman
“Why didn’t he give me one too,” said Twilight
“I’m so jealous,” said Sunset
“Why does this infuriate me?” said Pinkie
“Fluttershy, I might have underestimated you, you have become a worthy opponent too,” said Rainbow dash
“I have to impress Spike, show him how much this means to me, someday I’ll be his only backup,” said Fluttershy

Equestria Ch. 4 The Princess and the Drake
It has been almost 6 months since Twilight and her friends joined the guild, 3 Months since Pinkie joined the party and 1 month since RD and Fluttershy joined the party.
Now they are currently sitting in the Guildhall taking a break
"So any plans girls and Spike?" Asked Rainbow Dash
"Rainbow Dash, can you please take a break, we've been questing nonstop for 2 weeks," said Twilight
"It's not my fault that you guys can't keep up with my and Spike's awesomeness… by the way Spike, what are you reading?" Asked Rainbow
"It's a book that talks about all the type of abilities and titles you can get," said Spike
"Ok, now that is interesting," said Rainbow Dash
"So Spike, any skill, title or class, that you think we can get?" Asked Sunset
"Let's see…," Spike was about to start reading the page until they heard a disturbance nearby.
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN NO ONE IS WILLING TO GO TO THE DUNGEONS WITH ME!" said a female voice in an angry tone
"Ms. Belle, you have to understand that this people are not mercenaries but adventurers," said Listy
"So, I'm not asking them to go kill someone, I just want someone to act as my bodyguard, some to help me carry the diamonds, and someone to carry my bags, is that too hard to do?" Said the girl angrily
"Ms. Belle, it's not that it's hard to find, the problem is no one is willing or free to work with… for you," said Listy
"THAT'S JUST RIDICULOUS, WHY WOULDN'T SOMEONE WORK FOR ME?!!!" said the girl
"I don't know Ms. Belle," said Listy, and with that the girl stormed off
"Hey Listy, what was that about?"Asked Twilight
"Just the princess my dear," said Listy
"Princess, princess who?" Asked Rainbow
"Oh no, she isn't a princess per say, she just got that nickname due to her mannerism, expensive and flashy clothes," said Listy
"And what did she want?" Asked Sunset
"To hire lackeys to go with her into the dungeons and get diamonds with her," said Listy
"Then why doesn't anyone do it?" Asked Fluttershy
"To be honest I don't know, but I've heard a rumor that she can be very mean, bossy, and doesn't really pay well," said Listy
"That gives me an idea, why don't we go dungeon crawling?" Said Pinkie
"What?" They all said
"Yeah it's not a bad idea, we don't really have any ideas for quests and I can tell that dungeon crawling pays well," said Pinkie
"I don't know," said Twilight
"Plus it's the fastest way to grow your abilities and gain new ones, just like Spike's book said," Pinkie said
"I don't think it's a good idea," said Twilight
"No, no, she's gotta point, if you want to become the best adventurer of the world, you have to grow your abilities," Spike said
"Ok, fine, we'll go tomorrow," said Twilight
"Which dungeons can we go to?" Asked Spike
"Let's see… the Clearwater dungeon, Spiral Mountain Dungeon, and Babylon, but only until level 45," said Listy
"Let's go to the Clearwater dungeon first, for a field test," said Twilight
"Good choice Twilight, that dungeon is a D rank dungeon, people mostly go there to make a quick buck killing smaller beasts or gain new abilities… if I'm not mistaken that's where the princess is going," said Listy
"Ok, we'll see each other tomorrow at 10 AM at the entrance," Twilight said
"Something wrong Spike?" Asked Fluttershy
"No, it's just that, we've been here for almost 6 months and it's the first time I've ever seen that girl," said Spike
"You're putting too much thought into it, now come on, let's go workout," said Rainbow Dash as she grabbed Spike's arm and pulled him away "Now what do you say you and I go and… WORKOUT?"
Spike was about to say something, but before he could answer someone his other arm
"Like hell I'm leaving you and Spike alone," said Twilight
"Me too, I'm going with you," said Sunset
"I should really go and lift some weights, count me in," said Pinkie
"Don't leave me alone!" Fluttershy squeaked
"Can't this girls just back off, I'm the only one right for Spike," thought Rainbow Dash

NEXT MORNING
"Morning all," said Twilight
"Morning Twilight, Spike," they all answered
"Are you ready?" Asked Twilight energetically
"Enough cheerleading, let's go," said Rainbow Dash
And with that they got near the entrance of the dungeon
"Anything we should know?" Said Sunset
"Lower level beasts like gremlins and insectoids, be more concerned about numbers than power or skill," said Spike
"Easy enough," said Rainbow Dash
"Hopefully," said Spike
As the group got near the entrance, they saw a large group of adventurers preparing to enter.
"So we've got a deal?" Said a female voice
"Yeah, yeah, we help you gather the diamonds, and in return you give us 45%," said a male voice
"That wasn't the deal," said the female
"Take it or leave it darling," said the male
"Fine, let's go" said the girl
"Prince Blueblood, why do you put up with her? She is a bitchy slut," said another female mage
"Cause the more I help her, the more I charge her, and soon she won't have a choice but to smash with me," said the man walking away
"And what am I? Chopped liver?" Said the female mage
"That was interesting," said Twilight
"Ha, that princess better watch her ass, it might get impaled soon," said Rainbow Dash
"Jealous Dash?" Asked Pinkie sarcastically
"WHAT! NO!... I actually am, why doesn't Spike get a clue,"
"That is none of our business, let's focus on our own mission," said Sunset
"Oh, shiny," said Pinkie as she grabbed a diamond from the wall
1 HOUR LATER
"And that makes 50, looks like I'm still winning," said Rainbow Dash as she killed her 50th victim
"Dash, it's not a competition," said Twilight
"Of course it is Twi, you're just jealous that you currently stand in last place… even Spike has more kills than you and he is acting as our defense, " said Rainbow Dash
"Oh that's not true, Sunset..."said Twilight
"I have 46 kills," said Pinkie
"45," said Sunset
"30" said Spike
"29" said Fluttershy
"And you only have 15, you really have to pick up the pace Twi…" Rainbow said

"33," said Spike as 3 Blood Beatles fell to the floor
"You see, he gets the picture," Rainbow Dash said
"You wouldn't want to be left behind, would you?" Asked Rainbow Dash

"The fuck is going on?" Said Sunset
"Don't know but it's coming from up ahead," said Twilight running towards it
"You want us to go check that out?" Asked Rainbow
"I thought it was assumed," said Twilight as she was getting further away
"Now that's what I call pick up the pace," said Rainbow as she sprinted to catch up with the group
Seconds later they saw the other group of adventurers running towards them
"BLUEBLOOD THIS ISN'T PART OF THE DEAL!" said the girl
"DEALS OVER SWEETHEART, GOOD LUCK GETTING OUT!" Said the man running away with the rest of his group
That's when the group found the thing responsible for the noise
"A GOLIATH! WHAT IS IT DOING HERE?" Asked Fluttershy in a panic
"No clue, this dungeon isn't that highly ranked so it makes no sense," said Twilight
"Of course it does, every dungeon has a goliath, but they only appear when the dungeon has taken too much damage, or to put it in simpler terms, its resources have been over exploded," said Spike
"Now what then?" Asked Pinkie
"HELP ME PLEASE!" Said the girl
With that Twilight and Spike started to shoot at the goliath while Pinkie, Sunset and Rainbow ran to aid the princess
"We aren't doing much damage," said Twilight as she fired again
"Then what are we going to do, that thing will catch up with us even if we run," said the girl
"WE'RE FUCKED!" said Rainbow Dash
Spike quickly started to look around searching for something that would give them an advantage
Then he noticed the stalactite on the ceiling and quickly fusioned one of his bullets with his flames and fired causing the ceiling to fall on top of the goliath burying him
"That's not gonna kill it but it'll give us enough time to run, go!" Said Spike
"What about my diamonds?" Asked the girl
"Leave the damn diamonds woman, just run for it," said Spike as he grabbed her hand and pulled her along
Once outside of the dungeon everyone started to calm down
"Good thinking Spike, I'm glad to see you have the looks and the brain, the perfect package," said Rainbow Dash
"That ain't much of a complement coming from you," Spike said
"I was trying to be nice you know," said Rainbow Dash
And then a full blown discussion started
"Hey! Thank you for saving me," said the girl
"Don't mention it," said Spike
"My name is Rarity Belle, B rank adventurer and mage," said Rarity
"I'm Twilight Sparkle, B rank adventurer and mage," said Twilight
"Sunset Shimmer, B rank Paladin and adventurer," said Sunset
"Rainbow Dash, B rank rogue, And adventurer," said Rainbow Dash
"Pinkie Pie, B rank warrior, adventurer and the best party planner in the whole country," said Pinkie
"Fluttershy, C rank Tank, adventurer and acting medic of the group," said Fluttershy
"Spike, E rank rogue, adventurer and this party's personal walking encyclopedia, defender and pack mule," said Spike
"HEY!" said a male voice
"Oh it's just an expression Cranky," said Spike
"I know but it's still insulting," said Cranky walking up to them
"What are you doing here?" Asked Pinkie
"Mr. Dumbblood came running into the guild screaming Goliath, Goliath, he told us everything and I was sent to kill it," said Cranky
"Heh, leave it to an S class," said Sunset
"Well gotta go, take care of yourselves kids," said Cranky
"But wait if you kill the Goliath doesn't that mean…" said Rarity
"Yup this dungeon is now closed, and it will disappear soon," said Cranky as he entered the dungeon
"Well, that is that," said Rainbow Dash
"Hey Rarity, what was that lovers quarrel earlier?" Asked Sunset
"Oh that, that wasn't a lovers quarrel, it was just me negotiating," said Rarity
"Not a fan of your technique, and who was that dude anyway?" Asked Pinkie
"Prince Blueblood, he is a member of the royal family and an A rank adventurer and Knight," said Rarity
"So you were asking him to help you with the diamonds," said Fluttershy
"Yeah, but as soon as that Goliath appeared he ran, he even knew that he was stronger than it," said Rarity
"Looks like your prince charming turned out to be a prince coward," said Spike earning a fist bump from Rainbow Dash as they both laughed
"But I still don't understand why that thing appeared," said Rarity
"Oh, sweety it looks like you used up your final brain cells in the past conversation," said Rainbow Dash in a sarcastic manner
"How rude, and that's not possible," said Rarity in a very angry voice
"Dear, I might not be the sharpest tool in the shed but even I know why it appeared," said Rainbow Dash
"She means your mining, ma'am, you removed too many diamonds debilitating the dungeon's walls, that awoke the Goliath," said Spike in a serious tone
"Oh," was all Rarity could say
"Well that was enough adventuring for today, I'm going home," said Rainbow Dash
"Me too," said Fluttershy
"See you tomorrow," said Twilight as she, Sunset and Pinkie headed to their cars as Rainbow Dash left in her Motorcycle, followed by Fluttershy in her car
"Wait! Can someone please give me a ride home, please?" Asked Rarity
"Sure if you don't mind riding a motorcycle," said Spike as he tossed her a helmet which she almost dropped
"Thanks," she said in a doubtful tone
30 MINUTES LATER
"Here we are, welcome to Carousel Boutique, where everything garment is chic, unique and magnifique," said Rarity
"O-k," said Spike
"Thanks for the ride," said Rarity
"You welcome," said Spike
"Say, Spike, would you do me a favor," said Rarity
"Depends," said Spike
"Would you mind coming tomorrow with me to the dungeon to collect diamonds?"Asked Rarity
"Ah-" said Spike
"I'll pay you well, please," said Rarity
"Listen I-" said Spike but then he saw Rarity giving him the puppy dog eyes
"Ok first, stop the puppy dog eyes, they don't work on me, second… fine I'll help you," said Spike
"YEEY!" said Rarity "see you tomorrow at the Spiral Mountain dungeon," she said giving Spike a hug and running inside the shop
Spike just looked at the door, and then to his left
"If she can afford that jeep, she must be loaded, I wonder why she even needs the diamonds," said Spike riding away.
THE NEXT MORNING
"Where is she, she said to be here early, and she is already late," said Spike as he waited for Rarity to arrive
Just then, Rarity's Jeep pulled up an parked next to Spike's motorcycle
"About fucking time she showed up," said Spike
Rarity then got out of her car and started walking towards Spike
"You've got to be fucking kidding me," said Spike as he saw her
"Morning Spike, did you wait long?" Asked Rarity in a girly tone
"Yes, you're 2 hours late," Spike said in a serious voice
"You were supposed to say, "No I just got here myself," said Rarity imitating Spike's voice
"Why would I lie about that?'" Said Spike
"You know nothing about courting women, I'm I right?" Rarity said
"True- ready to get to work," said Spike as he grabbed his backpack and headed into the dungeon
"Spike!... don't you have anything to say about my attire?" Asked Rarity
"Nothing that is worth saying," said Spike
"Is he really this blockheaded, but for some reason I kind of like his attitude," said Rarity
MINUTES LATER INSIDE THE DUNGEON
"So, Spike, tell me a little about yourself," said Rarity
"I never met my parents, was adopted at childbirth by my current family, graduated High school at the age of 14, and college at the age of 16, not really interested in becoming a world famous adventurer, just tagging along to protect Twilight while she gets strong enough to protect herself…" Spike said
"Is Twilight your girlfriend?" Asked Rarity, a tint of jealousy in her voice
"Half sister, as of now, I have never been in a relationship nor do I intend to have one," Spike said "you?"
"Well, I was born into a very wealthy family, graduated high school at 15, like everyone else, and opened my own shop, Carousel Boutique, I still take classes at Canterlot College, and like you I've never had a formal relationship," said Rarity getting closer to Spike
"If I didn't know any better, I'll say she is hitting on me, but- no earthling girls like Dragons," said Spike
Spike and Rarity continued walking in silence for a few more minutes
"Rarity, I know your business ain't my business, but, can you please tell me why you're dressed that way?" Asked Spike
"Oh, well, I love fashion and honestly I like to show off my creations, do you like my attire?" Asked Rarity
"I must admit, they are really… Nice, and make you look beautiful, but do they have any extra abilities?" Said Spike
"Their ability is to make whoever wears them look fabulous," said Rarity
"She can't be serious, she is basically a monster magnet… OH, now I see why no one wants to work with her," said Spike

"What's that?" Asked Rarity
"Bats," said Spike getting into a fight stance
"Oh, the little cute mammals," said Rarity
"No, the big, bloodthirsty mammals," said Spike
Just as he finished that sentence a massive group of bats appeared heading toward them
"Low level beasts easy to kill, prefer to attack in numbers… What are you doing?" Said Spike
"Staying out of their sight," said Rarity as she hid behind a big stalagmite
"That's not gonna…" Said Spike before being tackled by one of the bats and dragged away
"SPIKEEEEEE," Rarity screamed as he was dragged away and disappeared around a corner with 90% of the bats behind him
Rarity then turned to look in front of her and noticed that some of the bats had seen her.
The bat had been dragging Spike for almost 500ft
"Ok, that's it," said Spike as his eyes turned into green flames, he quickly grabbed his dagger and cut the bats right leg and wing
"Well that's gonna leave a mark… don't worry I'll put you out of your misery," said Spike as he walked towards the fallen bat and impaled in right in the heart killing it
Spike then looked up and noticed the rest of the bats coming towards him
"THIS IS GOING TO BE FUN," he said in a guttural voice.
"STAY AWAY FROM ME!!!!!!" screamed Rarity as she flung her staff back and forth wildly, her dress was now torn and useless, and her high heels were broken
"PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME," Screamed Rarity
Then the bats lunged at her
Rarity could only close her eyes

Rarity opened her eyes to find the bats lying dead on the floor
"I hate this job" said Spike as he walked up to Rarity, he was covered head to toe with blood, and his rifle was fuming
"SPIKE! THANK GOD YOU'RE ALIVE," screamed Rarity as she hugged him
"Yeah, not thanks to you though," said Spike as he got free of her hug
"Are you going to be ok? You're covered in blood," said Rarity
"It's not my blood," said Spike
Rarity just remained silent as she saw Spike go over and grab the supplies scattered all over the floor
"Tell me the truth, are you really an adventurer?" Asked Spike
Rarity couldn't answer, she didn't know what to say
"I'm waiting for an answer," Spike said, losing his patience
"Yes," Rarity said in a low voice
"Well it certainly doesn't look like it," said Spike
"I'm sorry about the bat…" Rarity said
"Don't say it, this is a job Rarity, not some fashion show in Mareis or Marelan, when are you going to understand that?" Asked Spike
Rarity remained silent
"I just wanted to look fabulous," she said
"Well, now you're a fabulous wreck, you remind me of Sunset Shimmer when she was 14, she was always wearing showy outfits, and why? Just to catch the boys attention, and I bet you're doing the same," said Spike
Rarity just nodded

Rarity remind quiet for a few seconds before coming clean
“All my live, I was surrounded by everything I ever wanted, the best dresses, the best toys, the best parties, education, and even parents, they had very busy schedules but they always had time for me and my sister, Sweetie Belle; going back to the point, My mom used to love fairy tales and she used to read them to me as a kid, she read every single one, Cinderella, Snow white and the 7 dwarfs, Rapunzel, you name the fairy tale she read it… and then, she was always telling me how she met my father, her on fairy tale, and, well, hearing that for 15 years nonstop, made me what to experience it myself; you know, find my perfect prince, fall in love, get married, have kids, and have my happily ever after,” she said

"Well, Twilight is always telling me that it's wrong to try to pick up girls in a dungeon, so I assume it goes both ways," said Spike
For some reason this made both of them laugh
“What’s so funny?” asked Rarity
“I just realize that, your Prince Magnet, which turned out to be a monster magnet, just became a perv magnet,” said Spike as they both started laughing
Spike’s sentence rang on Rarity’s mind over and over, just then a realization hit her, and she looked down.
Her dress was so ripped that there was only a thin fabric covering Rarity’s breasts and Panties.
She immediately turned red and Screamed while slapping Spike in the face
“Ok, I deserve that,” said Spike

“They’ll cover your… assets, plus they all have +10 defense, Twilight is a very good spell caster and her favorite pastime apart of reading her eyes off, is to create enchanted gear, this was her first successful creation, she made it to protect herself from bandits while running, and… I just realized that you’re bigger than her… in the upstairs department,” said Spike
“Beggars can’t be choosers darling, plus as long as it covers me I don’t mind the tightness,” Rarity said grabbing the clothes
“Don’t worry I’ll look the other way,” said Spike as he got up turned around
“I wouldn’t really mind if he took a peek… WHAT THE HELL AM I EVEN SAYING?!” said Rarity
Some minutes later Rarity said
“Hey, Spike, are your clothes also enchanted?”
“Huh, oh no, I just have very thick scales, so it's really hard to injure me gravely,” said Spike as a dart striked his left arm. “You see, not even a scratch, so, are you ready?” he said
“Ready for what?” asked Rarity

Rarity looked at him, and in her mind, saw him as a prince in shining armor ready, not to save her, but to help her, and stand next to her, “Ready,” said Rarity as she grabbed Spike’s hand and got up

“Celestial enchantment of agony,” said Rarity as she fired a spell form her staff at the bats

“That was fun,” said Rarity “More than usual,” she finished as she loaded the last bag of gems into her car
“That’s because, for the first time, it was your own effort that got you to the prize, not some hotblood, good looking guy just wanting to smash,” said Spike
“Well, you are hot… I mean… here, take this, for your help,” said Rarity as she gave Spike a big bag of Gems
Spike looked at the bag, then at Rarity’s smile, and then he tossed the bag into her car
“But Spike, that’s your payment,” argued Rarity
“Knowing that you’re safe is enough payment for me,” said Spike
Rarity blushed madly at this comment and had to use all her mental strength to avoid tackling him into a kiss
“I hope we can be friends,” said Spike extending his hand
“Yeah me too… say, would you let me take a picture,” said Rarity
“What for?” asked Spike
“Well, I just want a picture with my first real friend,” said Rarity
“Ok,” said Spike as he stuck a pose
“Perfect,” said Rarity as she took a selfie
"Well time to head home, bye," said Spike as he got into his bike, and started to drive away

"What is it?" Asked Spike as he stopped his bike.
"Would you mind helping me out searching for diamonds tomorrow?" Asked Rarity
"Sure, I'd love too, as long as you wear proper attire," said Spike
"Don't worry darling, after today, I won't wear showy outfits in a dungeon," said Rarity
“Well see you tomorrow,” said Spike as he got into his Bike and drove away
“Yeah, tomorrow,” said Rarity as she smiled and her face turned red
THE ONE MONTH LATER AT THE GUILD
“... And that’s why I’ve decided to join you gals,” said Rarity
“Are you sure you want to?” asked Twilight
“Yes, I even went to the armory to get proper armor, Robes of Magical Enhancement, Bracers of Awareness, Chestplate of Protection, Skirt of Great Agility, Boots of stealth, and my Staff of wonders,” said Rarity
“I still think there is more to it, than just you wanting to befriend us,” said Rainbow Dash
“I can assure you, there isn’t,” said Rarity
“Morning all, I’ll be there in a second,” said Spike as he walked past them
Rarity’s eyes followed him and she let out a sigh, this didn’t go unnoticed by Rainbow Dash
“So that’s the reason, well let me tell you something sister, he’s mine, I’m the only one awesome enough for him, got it?” whispered Rainbow Dash
“Let him decide that, Little Ms. Washboard,” Whispered Rarity
“Oh it is on, now sister,” Whispered Rainbow dash
“Is there a problem?” asked Spike as he came back with a tray of food
“Nope, just some girl talk with our new member,” said Rainbow Dash patting Rarity in the back
“Yes, only some FRIENDLY girl talk,” said Rarity
“Why do I feel a murderous aura near me everytime I come to this table?” said Spike "Well, I'm just going to eat breakfast and I'll be heading out," said Spike
"Where to?" Asked Twilight
"I promised a… friend, to help her… THEM out today," said Spike
"A FRIEND right? Don't you mean FRIENDS?" said Sunset
"Yeah, that," said Spike as he started to sweat
“So- who are these FRIENDS of yours?” asked Twilight, her face covered by a fake friendly smile.
“Oh, no one important, just some friends who requested my help today,” said Spike eating his food faster than usual
“Really? Well, I hope these FRIENDS of yours not to over work you,” said Sunset
“Nonsense, yes, they tend to do hard work, but they always help me keep up with them,” said Spike as he downed his coffee.
“I know I am new to the party, but… may I ask for they’re names,” said Rarity
“Ah, well… Oh, look at the time I have to go or I’m going to be late, SEE YOU LATER!!!” said Spike as he ran out of the guild so fast, not even Rainbow Dash could keep up with him
“I Don’t trust him!” said Twilight
“What are you hiding Spike?” said Sunset
“This is going to be interesting,” said Rainbow Dash as she sat down to eat her food

Equestria Ch. 5 Job for a cowboy
3 MONTHS LATER
It has been a very, interesting, 3 months for our group heroes, especially for Spike.
Since Rarity joined the party, Spike was needed less and less, so he had distanced himself from the group when they went on quests.
Spike had decided to start only doing odd jobs and bounty hunts.
Apart from this, the only fun things that were happening were Rainbow Dash and Rarity comical competitions to win Spike’s attention.
Well, It was comical for everyone in the guild, but for the other members of the group, it was just plain creepy or annoying, and the tension was starting to get to the group.
As for Spike, it was just plain stupid, to add insult to injury, he was yet to realize the true meaning behind their actions.
Every day, Rainbow Dash does her best to invite Spike out for an early workout, or for a quick Duo quest, or even to go to a sports game or concert, and then we have Rarity, her approach was… different, yet terrifying… somehow, she was literally the first person Spike saw every morning, not because she had found a way into his room and started to sleep in his bed.
But because, every morning she would face call him to wish him a good morning, she even got to the point of being in suggestive outfits and positions when she did, yet Spike would only answer politely and hang up, then she would follow him around, asking him to help her in her boutique or to help her go shopping, once she even asked him to model for her, and for her safety, he said no.
Well let’s get back to the present, shall we?
“Remind me again why I’m here?’ asked Spike
“Because, Darling, it’s a Gentledrake’s duty to help a fair maiden out when she asks him,” said Rarity
“Fair point,” said Spike who was holding so many bags and boxes you could think he was a mountain of trash
“It feels like if we’re a real couple, who’s out on a date,” said Rarity
“Huh, is that you Spike?” said a deep bass voice with a southern accent
“The one and only, Spike Drake, Pack Mule extraordinaire, at your service,” said Spike
“HEYYYY!” said a familiar voice
“Sorry Cranky,” said Spike as he saw Cranky and his wife Matilda and his Children walked by
“Again Spike, please never again,” said Cranky angrily
“He really needs to come down,” said Rarity
“Well, how would you feel if you were in his position?” said Spike
“I guess you’re right,” said Rarity
“So, What’s up my dude?” said Spike
“Just on my way to the guild to place a quest request… well 2 actually,” said Big Mac
“I see, well, we were on our way there, so… want us to tag along?” said Rarity
“Sure… need help?” asked Big Mac when he saw all the things Spike was carrying
“Nah, Rarity’s car is over there,” said Spike as he walked towards it
MINUTES LATER
“So, you need someone to go to High Peak mountain and bring back some type of rock?” asked Rainbow Dash
“I believe the name you’re looking for is Drutain, and just like Adamantium it’s basically indestructible, and it’s worth a fortune,” said Big Mac
“I didn’t know you were in the mining business, that’s new,” said Spike
“I’m not, Granny Smith found an old map, that belonged to her father, as you know Spike, he was a miner and he was also the one who discovered the rock, hence the massive aspect of our fortune,” said Big Mac
“So?” asked Spike
“Granny Smith, sent me to the guild to hire bodyguards to protect my mom, dad, and some workers while they check it out, you know, go with them, cover their backs, help them carry the rocks if you find any, things like that,” said Big Mac
“And the other request?” asked Twilight
“That’s more of a personal request for Spike,” said Big Mac as he turned to face Spike
“You mind coming down to Sweet Apple acres to help with the farming, again,” said Big Mac
“Ok,” said Spike
“Wait, YOU HAVE HELPED THEM BEFORE?!!!” they all asked
“Yeah, many times to be honest,” said Spike
“WHEN?!” they asked Again
“Over the last couple of months… so how long is this gonna take?” asked Spike
“For about 2 weeks maybe more, is that ok with you?” asked Big Mac
“It’s fine with me,” said Spike
“Oh, by the way, maybe you girls are interested in taking this quest, I mean, the reward is $600,000, that means $100,000 for each,” said Big Mac
As soon as he said that, their eyes literally turned into dollar signs
“You can count on us,” said Rainbow Dash as she grabbed the request and went to give it to Listy
“And, how much will Spike be earning?” asked Twilight
“Around $250,000,” said Big Mac
The mention of this made everyone’s jaws drop and hit the floor
“What?” asked Big Mac
“Dude, that’s the normal earning for an A rank quest,” said Spike
“Man, keeping up with AJ, is an A rank quest,” said Big Mac
“True,” said Spike
“Who is this AJ, you guys are talking about,” asked Twilight
“Oh, Applejack, she is my younger sister, she is about your age, maybe a bit older,” said Big Mac
This made the girls freeze in place
“A girl! Spike’ has been helping another girl?!” said Sunset
“Wonder why I’ve never met her?” said Twilight
“A new friend, I must introduce myself… and make sure she stays away from my dragon,” said Pinkie
“So, another girl, I hope she knows her place, Spike is mine and mine alone,” said Rarity
“I wonder if she also likes Spike… I wouldn’t mind sharing him… as long as I can be his head wife,” said Fluttershy
“Ok, that’s that… what’s up with you gals?” asked Rainbow Dash
“Oh nothing, we were just talking about Big Mac’s sister,” said Pinkie
“Oh, Ms. Goodie-two-boots I presume,” said Rainbow Dash
“Wait, you know her?” asked Sunset
“Oh yeah, me and Spike, have helped in their farm before, and so far I have defeated her in everything,” said Rainbow Dash
“Except bucking Apples,” said Spike
“You traitor,” said Rainbow Dash “So, what did she do?”
“Oh, nothing, just that we never see her,” said Twilight
“She runs the apple shop in the market, you’ve had to see her at least once,” said Rainbow Dash
“Now that you mention it… I think we have,” said Rarity
But as soon as the image of Applejack came to their minds, they once again turn pail
“Anyway, I’ll see you all tomorrow at Sweetapple acres at first light, happy trails,” said Big Mac
MINUTES LATER, NEAR SWEET APPLE ACRES
“So, is it done?” asked a female silhouette
“Yeah, the girls agreed to help us,” said Big Mac
“Alright, this is your chance… don’t blow it,” said another female silhouette

"Morning girls, a pleasure to meet you at last," said a male voice

"No, not today, I have a lot of chores to do, but tomorrow yes," said the young girl

"See you in 2 weeks," said Pear Butter
"Bye, be careful," said Granny Smith said as the caravan of Pick up trucks left
"Ok, Spike, follow me," said Big Mac
Spike followed Big Mac to the barn
"Well hello there Spike," said a female voice
"Oh, Applejack, good morning… to...you," said Spike as he turned to face her
Applejack was jogging towards him, she was wearing her typical cowboy boots, but her outfit was different, she was wearing jean short shorts instead of her regular jeans, and an orange button up shirt tied just under her chest, showing off her abs and accentuating her breasts, which Spike tried not to stare at.
"Good to see you, glad you could join us for a little hard labor," she said
"Yeah, don't mention it," said Spike
"This is almost too easy, I'll have Spike in my bed by tomorrow if this continues… ok step 2 impress him with my abilities, " said Applejack
"Ok Spike, you see those crates? Mind loading them into the Truck, but be very careful, they contain the apple cider for this season," said Granny Smith
"Sure," said Spike getting to work
"As for you three, go and buck some apples," said Granny Smith
"Yes Granny," they all said and left
NEAR THE APPLE ORCHARD
"Say, AJ, why do you want to impress Spike so bad?" Asked Applebloom
"Well… he's the nicest, hottest, kindest guy I've ever met, I still remember the first time we met," said AJ as she started to remember.
3 MONTHS AGO
Spike was walking near the marketplace, ready for some shopping.
"Ok, so, Twilight needs a new book, figures , Rarity needs me to get her a few hair products, Sunset wants strings for her guitar, even though I offered her some of mine, Fluttershy needs animal food, she wasn't very specific, and Pinkie and Dash are ok. I hope everything is fine all the way in Manechester, still I'd prefer this alone time, than another Underwear/swimsuit shopping day with Rarity, she really likes teasing me," said Spike. He continued walking up the small sloop that led to the market.
"LOOK OUT! MY WAGON IS LOSE!" screamed a female voice
Spike quickly turned around and noticed a wagon running loose down the slope, heading straight for a couple of kids.
He quickly ran after it, jumping in front of the wagon, which was surprisingly heavy; Spike had to anchor his feet to the floor as hard as he could to stop the wagon.
The wagon actually dragged Spike for about 50 Ft. before he was finally able to stop it, almost hitting the kids that were frozen in place due to the fear.
“You kids ok?” asked Spike
“Ye..yes, thank you sir,” said the girl
“You're welcome,” said Spike
“Wow, mister, you’re really strong!” said one of the boys
“Well, that’s cause I eat my veggies and get a good night sleep,” said Spike
“Really, eating veggies and sleep give you strength?” asked the other boy
“Yup, but you also have to do some exercise as well… in other words, live a healthy life,” said Spike
“Cool, I want to grow up to be as strong as you,” said one of the boys before they all ran off
"Thanks, that was mighty terrifying, I mean, if my wagon had hit any of the kids…," said the female owner of the wagon as she ran up to Spike
"Well, thank God it didn't come to that," said Spike
"Nice to meet you, my name is Applejack," said the woman
"Spike, pleasure is all mine," he said as he shook her hand
"Well, Spike, you are mighty strong I the leg department," said Applejack
"Thanks, years of training," said Spike
"Training for what?" Asked Applejack
"Not important… so, what caused the whole "fugitive wagon" incident?" Asked Spike
"I was heading to my usual place in the market to sell my goods, when all of a sudden the handles broke; now, I know this wagon is heavy so it has an emergency brake system but it seems that it failed too," said Applejack
"You don't say? Mind if I have a look?" Said Spike
"Not at all, go ahead," said Applejack
Spike then headed over to where the handles were and noticed that they had been sawed off and placed back again using cheap glue.
"That's odd," said Spike
"Found anything?" Asked Applejack
"Let me check one more thing," said Spike
He then slided underneath the wagon and noticed that the brake system had been cut off and hidden from sight using scotch tape.
"Applejack, are you the only one that uses this wagon?" Asked Spike
"Yes… why?" She asked
"Look at the handles, they were sawed off and placed back with cheap glue," said Spike
Applejack as she was told and was surprised by what she saw
"You're right… damn that little sister of mine, this must be one of her old pranks," said Applejack getting angry
"At first I thought something like that too, but then came the break issue… I doubt your sister knows much about mechanics," said Spike
"She doesn't why?" Asked Applejack
"The brakes were cut off and the someone used scotch tape to hide it," said Spike
"You're saying someone wanted to hurt me?" said Applejack
"That or ruin your image, imagine if this wagon had hit one of the kids, the parents could sue you, and that would've ruined your business," said Spike
"My God, thanks Spike, I must be more careful now, seems like someone wants me out of business," said Applejack
"Well, if you need help, I can give you a hand getting this up there," said Spike
"You would? That be mighty nice of ya," said Applejack as both she and Spike pulled and pushed the wagon up towards the market
SOMEWHERE NEARBY
"So, did it work?" Said a figure
"Yes and no" said another
"What?" Said the first figure
"The trap worked and the wagon fell apart and almost killed a couple of kids, but…" said another figure
"But what?" Said the first
"Some guy came out of nowhere and stopped it, by the looks of him, he was an adventurer from the guild," said another figure
"Damn those meddling adventurers, the bosses are not going to be happy about this," said the first one.
BACK TO THE PRESENT
"Spike came every day to make me company after that incident, sometimes he would even help me for free… HA, we even asked him to come to the farm and help before, remember, he helped you out the first day he came," said Applejack as she bucked another tree making the apples fall to the bucket below.
“Yeah, I remember that, and I have to admit that he is a really nice person, but I still don’t understand what made you fall for him,” said Applebloom
“Well… at first I only saw him as a very good friend, but then…” Applejack began
ONE MONTH AGO
Applejack was finishing closing her market stand after a long day of hard work
“My, oh my, that was one hard day of work...possibly because I stayed 5 extra hours but… I’m sure no one will mind me bring an extra $1000, even though it’s almost midnight,” she said as she loaded the last part of her stand into the her new wagon
Unknown to her 3 figures were coming towards her rather quickly and menacingly
After a few more seconds Applejack heard the footsteps behind her
“Oh, so sorry, but I’m closed-” she said before a large fist punched her in her stomach
“Well, too bad… for you,” said one of the figures as they dragged a semi-conscious Applejack towards a dark alley.
Ones there they threw her against a wall, allowing her conscious to return but leaving her disorientated
“Wha… what do you want… from me?’ she asked trying to compose herself
“We?... nothing, now our employer… let’s just say, you’re a nuisance, and we were tasked to eliminate you,” said the leader of the group
“So… that’s what you are, huh… cowards who attack… a defenceless woman in the street, impressive,” Applejack said trying to sound tough and hide her fear
“SHUT UP!!!” said the leader as he slapped Applejack in her face causing her to spit blood
“Is… is that all… you’ve got?” Applejack taunted again
The leader of the group got furious and smacked Applejack again across the face causing her to fall to lay down on the floor.
“You know, I was just going to punch you half to death and leave you like a fucking vegetable, but now… I think this bitch needs to be taught a lesson… wouldn’t you agree boys?” said the leader as he turned to face his accomplices
“You’re right, she needs to learn to shut her smart-ass mouth,” said one of them
“Glad to hear you agree,” said the leader as her grabbed Applejack’s dress and ripped it off, followed by her underwear
“What… what are you doing?” Applejack managed to say
“You’ll find out soon enough,” he said as he removed his pants and underwear, exposing his member to her.
“I’m I supposed to see something?” Applejack said taunting the leader again
“Let’s see if you keep making those comments after I finish with you,” he said as he moved forward.
He was about to make entry into her marehood when
“HEY!! What’s going on over there?” came a male voice
All of the goons turned and saw Spike standing at the entrance of the alleyway
“Boss, it’s the guy from 2 months ago,” said the other figure
“I see… HEY BUDDY, LET ME GIVE YOU SOME ADVICE… MOVE ON,” said the leader
“NO!!!, I WANT TO KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON,” Spike said
“NONE OF YOUR DAMN BUSINESS, YOU FUCKING LIZARD,” said the boss
The second he said that, Spike went silent
Applejack turned and saw Spike, but for whatever reason he didn’t look at her, his face was glued to the floor
“Spike… please, don’t leave me!” thought Applejack
BANG BANG
Was all that was heard in the nearby empty and previously silent streets
At first everyone was confused, where did the shot come from, then they turned and looked at Spike who was holding a 45MM gun in his left hand.
Seconds later the leader of the group knelt down in pain holding his crotch as a pool of blood began to form beneath him.
Everyone then turned to look at Spike as he began to walk towards the leader until he was right in front of him
The leader looked up and saw the barrel of the gun pointed right at him, then he looked at Spike and noticed that his eyes weren’t normal, he looked… possessed
“I’m a dragon, not a lizard,” said Spike as he pulled the trigger killing the leader of the group
Spike then turned to the remaining 2 goons and said
“Tell your clients that, next time, those bullets will be for them,”
They both then began running away as Spike helps Applejack up and covered her with his jacket
“Thanks,” she said
“Applejack, how many people do you need to send a message?” asked Spike
“Ah… one?” said Applejack
“Hmm,” said Spike as he pointed his gun and fired one more round, killing another of the goons “I agree… and disagree with you Applejack… I think that one or two people can send a message,” said Spike as he shoved his hand into his backpack and pulled out some shorts and gave them to Applejack
Applejack took them and then looked at Spike
“What, I don’t have anything else, plus, I doubt it’s comfortable to be naked in this cold weather,” Spike said
Applejack looked at them in a weird way and Spike said
“Relax, they are clean, I always carry an extra pair of clothes in case of an emergency,” said Spike
“Why?” asked Applejack
“Long story, don’t wanna talk about it,” said Spike as he turned around
“Am I right to assume that your “Emergency kit” contains undergarments?” said Applejack
“Yes… yes they do, but due to obvious reasons I don’t think it’s a good idea to hand them over,” said Spike
“True… thanks,” said Applejack as she put the short on and grabbed her ripped clothes
“So what are you going to do with those?” asked Spike as he turned to face her
“Throw them in the garbage, what else,” said Applejack
“Well, you can give them to my friend Rarity, she can fix any type of garment in the blink of an eye… literally,” said Spike
“Nah, this skirt is very old, and I was planning to get rid of it anyway… but, a better question is, what are YOU doing here?” said Applejack
“I was… uhm… out for a jog and...uhm… heard the scafell, so I decided to help,” said Spike
Applejack looked at Spike and said
“You, sir, are the worst liar I’ve ever met.” she said giving Spike a light punch on his shoulder
“What makes you think I’m lying?” said Spike
“The fact that no normal person goes for a Jog at midnight, especially carrying a 45 strapped to their waist, and trust me, I know,” said Applejack
Spike, defeated, decided to come clean
“Ok, you got me, I was… bounty hunting,” said Spike
“Bounty… You a bounty hunter?” said Applejack in disbelief
“Yeah, I mean, with Twilight’s party getting bigger and better, I’m needed less and less, so, I had to find a way to pay the bills,” said Spike as he handed Applejack a bounty with the leaders picture and a monetary amount on it
“Gregor the terror, age 38, wanted DEAD, reward $1,000,000, known for being one of the heads of the Black stallion crime organization,” Applejack read
“Yup, this guy was really a piece of shit,” said Spike as he removed the blood covered name tag from the corps
“What about the other one?” asked Applejack
“No clue, just thought I’d send a message,” said Spike
“Which was?” asked Applejack
“The result of sabotage,” said Spike
“I don’t get it?” said Applejack
“He was the one that caused the accident a few months back,” Spike explained as he went over and removed the name tag on him “Nick Slick”, funny name, don’t you think?” he finished
“Son of a bitch” said Applejack as she met up with Spike
“Yeah… anyway, come on, I’ll help you get home, Granny Smith must be worried,” said Spike.
30 MINUTES LATER
“So, all this time, you’ve been investigating my case?” said Applejack
“Yeah, ever since the first time I met you and learned all of this, I felt… I don’t know… worried, I know what it feels like for someone to try and destroy your reputation, and so…” said Spike
“You went out of your way to protect me,” said Applejack
“Yes, and I was actually on my way to tell you what I had discovered when I stumbled upon the scene,” said Spike
“And thank God you did…” said Applejack
“Yeah, if something would’ve happened to you… I wouldn't have forgiven myself,” said Spike
“Wow, he just so nice, I can’t believe he has been trying to protect me all this time, like if he was a guarding angel,” Applejack thought
“Applejack… listen, I’ll be out of town for a few days, starting tomorrow… but, I’m worried for your safety, I know who these guys were working for, and…” Spike said
“It’s ok, sugarcube, I can take care of myself, you go on your mission and concentrate on coming back,” said Applejack “I’ve never met someone who was this worried about me… is he crushing on me?”
“If you say so… hey, when I come back, maybe you and I can go for a coffee or something,” said Spike
“Sure,” said Applejack “Is he really asking me out on a date?”
“Well, Applejack, here we are Sweet Apple Acres,” said Spike
“That’s right sugarcube, thanks… for everything,” said Applejack
“You’re welcome… and please, take care of yourself, I mean it, I don’t trust these guys,” said Spike
“I will, don’t worry about it,” Applejack said as she gave Spike a kiss on the cheek, making him blush “Oh, he looks mighty adorable with that blush,”
“Well… I… Uhm… I have to go… and pack, goodnight!” said Spike as he rushed away
“Ha, he really is a cutie,” thought Applejack as she entered the farm
BACK TO THE PRESENT
“And that’s when I fell in love with him,” said Applejack
“Wow, he saved you from some brutes like if you were a princess, how romantic,” said Applebloom
“He did, didn’t he,” said Applejack with a goofy smile as she imagined herself as a princess and Spike as a prince
“But, that didn’t answer my original question, why do you want to seduce him?” asked Applebloom again.
“Well, after that I did develop a small crush on him, but after I told Ma, Pa, about what happened they wanted to go thank him and meet him, and that’s where it all happened,” Applejack continued
THAT DAY
“So, this Spike guy, is he like your boyfriend?” asked Bright Mac
“Oh no, Dad, he is just a great friend,” Applejack said turning red
“You know, I was surprised when Granny Smith said that Spike had worked at the farm before, I don’t remember seeing him,” said Pear Butter
“Well, he helped us out when you went to Las Pegasus for the show, so it’s kind of normal that you haven’t met him,” said Applejack
A few minutes later, Applejack and her parents arrived at the gates of the city, the major departure point for most of the guild’s adventures.
“Do you see him?” asked Pear Butter
“No… I don’t… Oh, there he is! The dragon with the sniper rifle in his back and who is currently checking the motorcycle,” said Applejack
“Dear, “Dragon” was enough of a description, I believe he is the only dragon that belongs to the guild,” said Bright Mac as they all began to walk closer to Spike, they suddenly froze when a certain rainbow haired pegasus threw herself at him.
“Ray, get off!” said Spike annoyed
“Why? I don’t mind the contact,” RD said as she pressed her chest harder into Spike’s back
“Well, unlike you, I have a bike to prepare,” said Spike
“Sure,” RD said in a sarcastic way getting off of him
“So, what do you want?” asked Spike
“I came to inform you that, after much deliberation, I have been asked to ride with you on our way to Coltchester,” said Rainbow Dash
“How’bout, no,” said Spike
“What? Why not?” asked RD
“Let’s see… You tend to get distracted easily, your always trying to do some sort of Daredevil crap, get into road rage incidents faster than the average Joe, and, most importantly, I don’t want you to crash my bike… again, the paper work for the insurance gives me nightmares,” said Spike
“Meanie, and here I was hoping to have some fun on our way there,” said RD
“For the love of God Dash, stop acting like Rarity’s perverted reflexion!” said Spike
“AHA, so you do notice,” said RD
“ARGH!!!!” was all Spike said
NEARBY
“So, is that girl his girlfriend?” asked Bright Mac
“She is a girl and a friend, but she isn’t his girlfriend… Like hell would I allow it,” said Applejack jealous, the last part barely louder than a whisper.
Unfortunately her mother heard it
“I see, well, let’s go say hi, shall we,” said Pear Butter as they walked towards the 2 arguing friends.
“I won’t repeat myself,” said Spike
“And I’m not going to let you win,” said RD
“Hi there Spike,” said Applejack wearing a fake smile on her face
“Oh, hey Applejack, what are you doing here?” asked Spike as he saw Applejack
“Oh, just came to see you off, you know, like us CLOSE friends do,” said Applejack getting closer to him and invading his personal space
“Oh, I see,” said Spike getting nervous
“Spike? What is Ms. Perfect Boots talking about?” asked RD
“Uhm,” was all Spike could say
“None of your business… oh, by the way Spike, this are my parents, Bright Mac and Pear Butter, they wanted to meet you, you know, after what happened last night,” said Applejack
“What happened last night?” asked RD as she hugged Spike closer to her
“I, kind of, save her life from a group of goons who were trying to kill her,” said Spike
“Of course you did,” said RD facepalming herself
“And we can’t be anymore grateful, hi, as you know I’m AJ’s dad, Bright Mac at your service,” said AJ’s dad giving Spike a hard handshake
“Nice to meet you,” said Spike as he felt his hand bones being crushed
“Honey, I think you’re going to break his hand,” said Pear Butter
“Oh, sorry,” said Bright Mac letting go
“No problem,” said Spike as he rubbed his aching hand
“Thanks for saving my daughter,” said Pear Butter as she hugged Spike
“No problem, that’s what friends are for,” said Spike
“So, I hear you’re off to Coltchester,” said Applejack
“Yeah, I told you last night,” said Spike
“Wait, last night?... Oh yeah, the rescue situation,” said RD
“Anyway, when are you coming back, son?” asked Bright Mac
“2, 3 weeks,” said RD
“3 weeks?” said Applejack
“Yup, 3 weeks of hard work,” said RD as she hugged Spike’s right arm
“Well, I surely hope everything will work out for you… all of you,” said Applejack as she hugged Spike’s other arm making eye contact with Rainbow Dash
“You’re getting awfully close to my Spike, girl,” RD said with her eyes
“I won’t let you have him, girl!” Applejack answered back with a stare
“Ok, so, we have to get going,” said Spike as he broke free of the hug and stare war.
“Right, right, sorry,” said Applejack as she let go of Spike just like RD did.
“Well, it was nice meeting you son, come down to the farm whenever you want,” said Bright Mac
“Sure, thanks,” said Spike
“Well, we better get back to work, and let you leave for yours,” said Bright Mac
“Nice to meet you again,” said Pear Butter
“Likewise,” Both Spike and RD said
“Oh, Spike, before you leave…” said Applejack before kissing Spike on the cheek again, causing to clam up and turn red.
Rainbow Dash’s jaw dropped in surprise
“For luck,” she said as she walked away swaying her hips, Spike’s eyes glued to her
“Hey Spike, put your eyes back into the suckets and finish up,” said Rainbow Dash as she left.
BACK TO THE PRESENT
“...And that was 2 and a half weeks ago, then mom and I decided to take action to conquer Spike’s heart, and now we are down to the final steps of the plan,” said Applejack
“So, for the plan to be completed when he what… impregnates you?” said Applebloom
Her comment made Applejack go completely red
“No… it wouldn’t… He… I… I mean… I don’t mind the thought but…” was all Applejack managed to say
“Well, good luck with that sis,” said Applebloom
“What do you mean “Good luck”?” asked Applejack
“Trust me when I tell you this, you aren’t the only girl that has something for Spike,” she said
“What?” said Applejack
“Yup, apart of you and Rainbow Dash, his half sister Twilight, his friend Sunset Shimmer, Pinkie Pie, the fashion queen Rarity, and the oversized breast girl Fluttershy, all seem to have the hots for your dragon,” said Applebloom
“Really?” said Applejack
“Yeah, and I have to admit, from what I’ve seen, he and Rarity as really, REALLY, close,” said Applebloom
“Will see about that,” said Applejack as she got back to work.
A FEW HOURS LATER
The work on the farm had gone as smoothly as you can imagine… if you take into consideration the fact that you had a love-struck Applejack working with you.
Throughout the whole day, she had been making various silly mistakes, she had accidentally mixed the new cider crates with apple juice crates, which had Big Mac and Spike redoing the whole thing again… Later, she bucked the apple trees that had already been harvested, causing confusion and delays, as many of the workers had to leave their current chores to make up for her mishaps… and right before the day ended, she mistook the water crates with the alcohol crates and almost caused the whole work force to fall flat on their faces drunk, if it wasn't for Spike and Big Mac, the farm would've list almost $1,000,000 for the 3 hours that it took the alcohol to leave their bodies.
And with that the day came to a close with the workers leaving for their homes and families.
Spike had been given the option to stay at the farm, but, thinking that he was imposing too much, decided to hop on his bike and head back home.
Back at the farm, Big Mac couldn't even wait for dinner to be ready, before falling face first into the couch and falling asleep instantly.
Applebloom was also pooped, she had a quick meal and headed off to her room and fell asleep, without even changing her clothes.
That left Applejack and Pear Butter all alone in the house.
"Is it safe for me to assume that your mishaps today were supposed to be you impressing Spike?" Asked Pear Butter sarcastically
"I… I don't know whatever you mean mother," said Applejack as she continued to scarf her dinner down like if it was her last meal.
"Come on, Applejack, I'm your mother, and I know when you are lying… not to mention, the “mistakes” happened, when you were assigned a job near Spike, so it’s easy to add the dots,” said Pear Butter
Before Applejack could answer back, another voice appeared and startled the 2 of them
“So, that’s the reason you’ve been so distracted,” came Granny Smith’s voice as she entered the kitchen
“GRANNY!!!” said Applejack as she jumped up in surprise, almost tipping the table over
“Mom, don’t do that,” said Pear Butter
“Hehe, sorry kids, old habits die hard,” said Granny Smith as she walked over to the table and took a seat.
“What do you mean “Old Habits”?” asked Applejack
“Oh… that… well, back during my younger days, specially when I was an adventurer, I used to work as a spy… so, that’s what I meant,” said Granny Smith
“Wait! You were a Spy?!” said Applejack
“Oh, yeah, and a damn good one, never got caught… going back to your little situation, you better feel me in,” said Granny Smith
Applejack and Pear Butter told her everything, from how Applejack and Spike first met, to when he saved her life, and even the reason of why they were doing what they were doing, that also included, even the minor, details.
After they were done explaining, Granny Smith remained silent for a few seconds.
“Any thoughts mom?” asked Pear Butter
“Well… first of all, I don’t know why you didn’t mention the incident with the street gang, I will forever be in dept with Spike… as for your plan… I think it’s somewhat stupid,” said Granny Smith
Both Pear Butter and Applejack looked at her in surprise
“What do you mean by that?” asked Applejack
“If Spike is attracted to you, which seems possible , you only have to focus on being yourself. He saved the real you, not the slutty, pervy, clumsy you who is trying to get in his pants… trust me deary, the only men that like that type of women, are up to no good; if you continue to act this way, you’ll scare him away and lose your chance… so, come tomorrow, be yourself, show him your skills, your perks, that you are dependable… that’s what a good wife is,” said Granny Smith
Applejack, however, was frozen in place, her face red, and her mouth formed into a goofy smile, while the word “Bride” echoed in her brain over and over again
“What’s up with her?” asked Granny Smith
“One of two possibilities… nope, she’s just love-struck,” said Pear Butter
“And what is the other possibility?” asked Granny Smith
“I prefer not saying it outloud,” said Pear Butter
“Anyway… Applejack, quit dreaming, go to bed and rest, since tomorrow is your second chance to impress Spike, and don’t forget… he won’t be here forever, you only have 9 days, removing weekend, to get close and personal with him before his friends return,” said Granny Smith as Applejack came out of her trance.
She nodded and headed off to her room, just to be stopped by Granny Smith’s words
“And for the record… I would prefer if you wait a couple more years to give me great grandchildren, I don’t want to feel so old at 63,” she said
Applejack, again turned red and made a run for her room
“Well, that was odd, I didn’t get the chance to wish her sweet dreams,” said Granny Smith
“Oh, trust me mom… you did, you did,” said Pear Butter as she cleaned the table and began to wash the dishes.
THE NEXT MORNING
“MORNIN’ SPIKE!!! Ready to work?” asked Big Mac as Spike dismounted his bike
“Sure, it’s time to make my body sore again,” said Spike
Just then Applejack came up to Spike
“Actually Spike, I was wondering if you would like to be my hus… WORK PARTNER! From here on, I mean, we should even the teams out a bit… we can have you boys having all the fun, I’m I right?” said Applejack
“Ok,” said Spike as he got ready to work
“Patience, Applejack, patience, remember what Granny Smith said,” she thought as she guided Spike to their work area.
A FEW DAYS LATER
It had been 2 full weeks of work at Sweet Apple Acres, and during this time, Applejack and Spike had gotten closer, than even they imagined… it was like they had this amazing chemistry between the 2 of them.
It first began when Spike and Applejack discovered that they had the same taste in music, even loved the same band, and albums, they shared an interest in horror and suspense films, liked almost the same food, and loved a very particular type of cyder called, Zap Cider.
Then it was when they talked, Spike began a sentence and Applejack finished it, and vice versa.
And finally, it came down to work, they were so coordinated when working, to the point that they finished all of their chores before lunch time.
Everyone was impressed by this, more so, Applejack herself, she had finally found her other half.
Spike, on the other hand, hadn’t even realized her feelings for him, were those of love, as he saw here as a great friend.
It is now late in the afternoon, almost sundown, and everyone in Sweet Apple Acres were ready to call it a day.
As for Spike and Applejack, they had finished working and were now taking a breather talking about anything that came to mind
“... and that day Twilight discovered why you don’t fall asleep near bushes that you can’t identify as poison Ivy,” said Spike making Applejack chuckle
“You love adventuring, don’t you?” she said
“I can’t say I hate it, but I’m not crazy over it… I’m more of a “Salaryman” type of person… Call me boring, but… I think it’s best for me,” said Spike
“But why? You have the chance of heading out of town in awesome adventures whenever you want, I would love to have that freedom,” said Applejack
“Why don’t you ask for it? I mean, you are…?” said Spike
“16, I’m turning 17 in a month,” said Applejack
“Well, in my book, that makes you an adult,” said Spike
“You know, you’re right, I’ll tell my family of it,” said Applejack
“I respect that decision,” said Spike
After he said this a moment of silence fell upon them, their eyes glued to each other, Applejack then began to lean forward, but stopped when she remembered something
“Hey, when you said “It’s best for you”, what did you mean?”
Spike remained silent for a few seconds, and was about to answer when one of the workers ran up to them.
“Spike, Applejack!!! Thank God I found you,” said the worker
“Green Hoof, what’s wrong?” asked Applejack
“We have trouble back at the farmhouse!” he said
“What is the situation?” asked Spike
“Various bikes, and trucks are headed for it, they will arrive at any second,” said Green Hoof
“We better head back to the farm, NOW!!” said Applejack as she and Green Hoof ran back to the farm
“About time, you idiots showed your ugly faces,” thought Spike as he began to run towards the farmhouse
When they arrived, they found everyone hiding inside the farm house, trying to come up with the reason for the visit of these people.
“Is it another offensive?” asked a worker
“Don’t think so, if that was the case they would’ve come when my husband and the sentinels were here,” said Pear Butter
“So then, what do they want?” asked Granny Smith
“To send a message,” said Spike catching everyone’s attention
“What do you mean?” asked Pear Butter
“I believe everyone here knows of Applejack’s and my incident with this people right?” said Spike making everyone nod
“Well, during that incident, I killed 2 of their “Best” men, but, they assume that I am affiliated to Sweet Apple Acres, so they came here to “teach us” a lesson,” said Spike
When he said this, everyone went silent
“Are they going to kill us?” asked one of the female workers, concerned with not seeing her kids again
“If we let them,” said Spike
This made everyone look at him
“I know that everyone here knows how to handle a gun or weapon, I’m I right?” he asked, as everyone nodded “Then this is what we are going to do…”
A FEW MINUTES LATER
Various bikes and 2 4x4 trucks stopped at the gate of Sweet Apple Acres, and their occupants quickly dismounted and stood on stand by, as their leader walked up to the gate and screamed
“WE KNOW YOU ARE IN THERE! COME OUT NOW AND FACE THE CONSEQUENCES OF YOUR ACTIONS! OR WE’LL GO IN AND KILL YOU ALL!!”
A few seconds past and nobody came out, this angered the boss even more
“Get you weapons ready, we are going hunting,” whispered the boss to the rest of his crew
“IF THAT’S HOW YOU WANT IT!!!!” he screamed and kicked the gate open
The second he did that, Spike kicked the farmhouse door open, surprising the gang
“Sorry about the wait, had to finish doing something,” said Spike as he walked up to them
“Are you the person in charge?” asked the boss
“What makes you think I am?” asked Spike
His cocky attitude, angered the boss
“It’s him! He’s the one that killed Nick and Gregor,” said the goon that Spike aloud to get away
“AH, so we have our target,” said the boss as he raised his gun up to Spike’s head
He was about to pull the trigger, when Spike grabbed the gun’s barrel and melted it, rendering it useless.
This scared and angered the boss even more, as he took out a dagger, and said “I’M GONNA KILL YOU, YOU MOTHERFUCKING LIZARD!!!!” as he lunged himself at Spike.
Spike however, quickly and skillfully evaded the attack, disarming the boss and placing him on a chokehold.
“Don’t ever call me a lizard, again!” he whispered before turning towards the rest of the gang
“I knew that my message was going to reach you, eventually… but, now that the 2 of you are down here, why don’t you grow a pair and face me face to face… or is it true that you’re actually chickens,” said Spike
The rest of the gang remained in place, no one moved a muscle, just like, no one said a word.
“Hypothesis confirmed,” said Spike in a mocking voice
As he said this, the doors of the trucks flew open, and out came none other than, Flim and Flam.
“Glad the 2 of you still have balls, even if they are the size of a nut,” said Spike
“Yeah, keep talking, ever word is one more bullet,” said Flim
“Is that the best you can do in the “Intimidation” area, HA! No wonder the 2 of you are still virgins,” said Spike mocking them
Flim and Flam got even angrier by that comment, and they began to rush up to where Spike was
“Ah, ah, I wouldn’t cross that gate line if I was you, you’ll regret it,” said Spike
“And who is going to stop us?” asked Flim
“Yeah, you and what army?” mocked Flam as the 2 of them got near to the gate
“Oh, I don’t know, maybe… this army?!” said Spike
As on queue, all of the workers of the farm appeared out of thin air, surrounding Flim, Flam, and their gang, pointing guns and rifles at them.
Flim and Flam stopped dead on their tracks
“What should we do?” whispered Flim
“They have us surrounded, we need to buy sometime,” whispered Flam
“I know the 2 of you are Wannabe businessmen, so, let’s talk business,” said Spike
“Ok, we’re listening,” said Flam
“This is my offer, leave now, leave town, and never come back,” said Spike
“And if we don’t?” said Flim in a threatening way
“Then I can’t guarantee you that you’ll live,” said Spike as his hold on the gang’s boss got stronger
Flim and Flam looked at each other and looked back at Spike
“Well, that is a nice offer,” said Flim
“But, we have a counter offer,” said Flam
“Let’s hear it then,” said Spike
“You pay for the murders, and we leave the people of Sweet Apple Acres alone, for today ,” said Flim
Sensing their ulterior motifs, Spike decided to play one last card
“That’s all? And I’ll have your word that you’ll keep that promise?” said Spike
“Of course, we are businessmen after all,” said Flam
Unknown to them, Granny Smith had used her spying abilities and had placed a mirror right behind the 2 of them, allowing Spike to look at Flim crossing his fingers
“So, what do you say?” said Flam as he extended his hand forward, enticing Spike to walk up to them and shake it.
Spike decided to continue the show and began walking up to the gate, always keeping an eye on Flim and Flam, as Flim made a reach for his gun, strapped to his waistband behind his back.
When Spike was about 3 feet away from them he stopped
“Do you really think I trust you?” said Spike
This caught them off guard
“You see, I knew you were going to pull a “Under the table” stunt on me, so, Granny Smith was quiet enough to place a mirror right behind you…” said Spike, making them turn and see the mirror “... Plus I’m good at ready someone’s character, I knew you were lying to me this whole time, you weren’t going to keep your word, you were going to kill me and then kill the Apple family for the ownership of the farm,” said Spike
Flim and Flam, looked at each other, in surprise and then back at Spike
“Well, no point in hiding it,” said Flam
“We never keep our word,” said Flim as he took out his gun
“Then neither will I,” said Spike as he grabbed the bosses neck and broke it, killing him instantly
With that, Flim and Flam, shot at Spike, just for him to dodge every bullet, grab his gun, and expertly hit their guns causing them to drop them
When they turned and noticed the gang just standing idly by, they got angry
“WELL, ARE YOU FUCKERS WAITING FOR AN INVITATION?! SHOT THEM, SHOT THEM DOWN!!!” screamed Flim and Flam
“You 2 know nothing about street politics, do you?” Said Spike catching their attention “I killed their boss… actually, the 2 bosses, so now, they don;t have choice but to follow my commands,”
At the mention of that, the farm workers came up to the group and aimed their guns at Flim and Flam
“My offer is still standing, if you want it,” said Spike
Flim and Flam looked at each other again, and got onto one of the nearby trucks and drove away.
Spike then turned to the gang members
“As for all of you… head to the police station,” said Spike
This made the feel nervous
“Don’t worry, if you turn yourselves in, they are more than likely to let you go with just a fine, which you can pay, by working for the guild, they accept anyone, from the purest being, to the worst convict with a lengthy history, turn your lives around… if not, I will personally hunt you down,” said Spike
With that all of them rushed away in their bikes and remaining truck.
As soon as they were out of sight, everyone started to cheer and celebrate the victory
“Spike, that was awesome,” said Applejack as she walked up to him
“Yeah, I’ve never seen someone so afraid as those 2,” said Pear Butter
“You think they’ll return?” asked a worker
“Doubt it, they’re hard headed, not stupid,” said Spike
“Well done, sonny,” said Granny Smith as she walked up to him
“Thanks,” Spike answered back
“Well, then, everyone can go home, and take tomorrow off,” said Granny Smith
“Are you sure?” said one of the workers
“Of course, it’s not like we can’t take care of a few chores by ourselves,” said Granny Smith
“Not to mention, various workers are coming back tomorrow,” said Pearl Butter
After reassuring the workers that it was ok, they left, leaving only, Granny Smith, Pear Butter, Spike, Applebloom, and Big Mac on the farm
“Well, it’s time for me to head home,” said Spike
“Oh, no, deary, we all have to have a talk,” said Granny Smith as Big Mac grabbed Spike by the arm and made him walk into the house
“What’s going on?” whispered Spike
“I have no idea, but I was told to do this by Granny Smith,” Big Mac answered
He then sat Spike down in the living, as everyone else entered the house
“Spike… I know, you might be confused about what is going on, but don’t fret, you have done nothing wrong,” said Granny Smith
“Uff, good, I thought I was in trouble,” said Spike
“The reason why we have you here today is… to thank you, you saved Applejack various times already, and now, you saved everyone in the farm, not to mention you were a valuable addition, although temporally, to our crew,” said Granny Smith
“Well, it was job, I had to give a 100% of me to make it worth it,” said Spike
Pear Butter and Granny Smith looked at each other and nodded
“Well, glad to hear that, but I must ask, did you enjoy working with Applejack?” asked Granny Smith
“Of course, she is a great friend, and to be honest, I felt we had a great chemistry, not to mention, she is a great company to have… the man or woman that marries here will be really lucky,” said Spike
“So, you are saying that, she is the proper life partner?” said Granny Smith
Spike sensed that there was a double meaning to the question, but he didn’t want to be insensitive
“Of course,” he said
“Then it’s settled,” said Granny Smith
“What is?” asked Spike
“Your engagement to Applejack,” said Granny Smith with a smile
Spike looked at them and said “WHAT?!!!!”
“Yeah, you have demonstrated to be a capable husband, so, it’s just natural,” said Granny Smith
“Wait, hang on a minute, doesn’t she get a say in this?” asked Spike
“Oh, she’s been very vocal about it,” said Pear Butter
Spike looked at Applejack who turned red and looked away, he then turned back to face at Granny Smith and company
“Listen, I thank you for the consideration… but I know for a fact that , I’m not ready for this type of commitment, yet, and I wouldn’t want to hurt her, do to me being immature,” said Spike
“I see, well, thanks for your honesty,” said Granny Smith
“Why don’t you guys spend some time together, go on adventures, grow your relationship, and even if, after all, you guys don’t think you are marriage material, then, we will respect your decision,” said Pear Butter
“Works for me,” said Granny Smith “What do you say?”
Spike looked at Applejack and then at everyone on the room, feeling the wait of his decision, Spike said
“If Applejack is ok with it,”
They all looked at her, and she nodded in agreement
“Ok, then, time to get you registered at the guild, come along then,” said Granny Smith pushing her out of the house.
A FEW HOURS LATER
“Applejack, age 16, height 6’0”, weight 50Kg, dexterity: right, adventurer type: tank/Warrior, Rank B, level 76… abilities: Crusher, physical enhancement, Bull… all of them are for raw strength, amazing… now please head into the armory and find your gear,” said Listy as Applejack did as she was told.
A few minutes later she and Hephaestus walked out of the armory
“Breastplate of Power, leggings of regeneration, Bracers of might, Boots of heavy armor, Sword of endurance, and Blazefury Twin guns,” said Hephaestus
“So, how do I look?” asked Applejack
“Like an adventurer,” said Spike
“Well, I believe it’s time that we head back home, have fun you 2, but not so much,” said Pear Butter as they left
“What now?” asked Applejack as she turned to look at Spike
“We, come up with an explanation to give to the girls,” said Spike with a worried face
THE NEXT MORNING
“THE 2 OF YOU WHAT?” they all said
“We were placed into an engagement relationship,” said Spike
All of the girls looked like they were about to kill the 2 of them
“So, this girl thinks she can steal Spike from me? She is wrong DEAD wrong,” thought Twilight
“Spike is mine, if you want him, you have to beat me,” thought Sunset Shimmer
“I wonder… will anyone find out if she is missing? Cause I’ll make her disappear,” thought Rarity making a murderous face
“I will not lose the race for Spike, we will be together,” thought Pinkie

“Relax, it’s just a temporal one, to see if Applejack and I are compatible for a long and prosperous marriage,” said Spike
“That’s true, so, I will be joining your squad for sometime to bond with Spike, and if, in the end, we decide not to get married and remain friends, my family will respect it,” said Applejack
