I saw some mistakes that I neglected to correct that I knew needed to be dealt with or else it would throw readers off. I was going good with this, but due to the amount of hate this story was getting, I felt that I needed to get this redone in some places before posting it back up and getting back up to be read. Well, now I have it up and ready to be looked at, and hopefully go better than it did last time. Alright, that's all for now... enjoy the first...somewhat revised chapter! A Divine Pickup Sweetie Belle Cifer’s rhythmic humming could be heard all around her room as she hopped and skipped about Rarity’s room. The carpet beneath her muffled the thumping sound of her hooves as they hit the ground every few seconds. Her curly two-toned mane and tail skirt bounced rhythmically with her bounces as her emerald eyes gleamed with mirth. Beside her, Rarity could be seen at her knitting machine, doing the last attachments to a dress she was making. Needles, threads, and scissors could be seen thrown about her desk as she worked fruitlessly on her new design. Even with her intense concentration, she found herself slightly annoyed by the constant jumping coming from behind her. Pausing to take a break, Rarity sighed and turned to her sister, lifting the glasses from her sapphire eyes. “Sweetie Belle darling, could you please stop that incessant bouncing?” She asked tiredly, frowning slightly at her sister. “I’m trying to finish your dress. If you keep making those sounds it’ll take me longer to finish it.” Sweetie stopped in her prancing, landing gracefully in the middle of the room to face her sister. “Oh, I’m sorry Rarity! I didn’t mean to! I’m just so excited about spending Nightmare Night tonight with Apple Bloom, Scootaloo, and Nocturnus! I really wanna show them the new dress I’m going to be wearing tonight!” “I know you are dear, but I’m not going to get anywhere like this.” Rarity chastised, speaking to Sweetie like she was her mother instead of her sister. “Remember what I always say, dear. I need complete and total concentration on my dresses, otherwise, they will never be to perfection~.” “Yes Rarity, I know...” Sweetie sighed, rolling her eyes. “I just really want this Nightmare Night to be special, and it’s not just about the dress either! This day will be officially marking the eleven month anniversary if when Scootaloo and Nocturnus officially got together!” This gave Rarity a pause, her expression slightly softening as the words wrapped around her head like a sock going up a hoof. A smile of tenderness slowly came to her face as she looked at her sister, her face holding none of the annoyance it had earlier. Rarity was one of the many ponies that found out about Scootaloo and Nocturnus’s new relationship. Having been told so by Fluttershy while she and the rest of her friends had a hangout at Sugarcube Corner. The other girls were, needless to say, shocked that the teens were now coltfriend and fillyfriend. Rarity most of all, mainly due to the fact that Scootaloo actually got together with a bat pony. Alas, that didn’t make Rarity any less elated and happy for the duo, Fluttershy included. Mostly for the fact that she was going to get a future brother-in-law. Despite Rarity’s positivity and support, the rest of the girls didn’t quite believe Fluttershy, thinking she was just pulling their legs for a good laugh. That is until Scootaloo and Nocturnus came walking in Sugarcube Corner hoof in hoof as they prepared to order something from Mrs. Cake’s stand. The group silently watched as the couple took a seat at a nearby table, cuddling up against one another as a giddy Ms. Cake gave them their pastries. After a few minutes of them silently conversing, Scootaloo and Nocturnus finally found an opportunity to lock lips. Kissing right in front of the entire Sugarcube Corner interior. With a good bit of tongue added to the mix. It was unknown whether or not they had planned it, since it did seem rather out of character for the normally shy teenagers. Nonetheless, the couple received multiple choruses of squeals, whistles, and coos from all in the bakery; the combined sounds so loud it could’ve woken up a hibernating bear. Ms. Cake looked like she had been given the sweetest tasting candy of her life, with the girls holding similar reactions. It was sadly ruined when Pinkie appeared out of nowhere in front of the teens and started to loudly congratulate them on officially being a couple. Which, unbeknownst to the other mares, had been kept secret ever since Nocturnus’s thirteenth birthday. It took Fluttershy threatening Pinkie with her Solar Stare to get her to stop embarrassing the young couple. Even then, none of the mares, not even her and Rarity left the couple alone for the rest of that day. “Ah, yes. Today is that day. Or rather, that night.” Rarity murmured, gaining a fond smile as she played with her curls. “If I recall correctly, you were all going to go into be playing with the other foals in the Town Square, and afterward, you’d be doing something else fun that I mentioned was going to happen.” Her alluring smile turned into a perplexed frown as she gained a thoughtful look. “Not really how I’d spend an anniversary with my coltfriend. But whatever works I suppose.” “That is pretty unusual.” Sweetie nodded in agreement. “But, that’s how Nocturnus and Scootaloo want it to go, even though the tonight is mainly supposed to be about them. I guess they just wanted us to be there for some moral support~.” She giggled in mirth, her curly mane bouncing slightly with her movements. “Oh well, they’ll still get plenty of time to be together. Even if they’ll more or less be with us. And that’s what really matters, right~?” “Yes dear, indeed it is.” Rarity nodded softly, smiling at her younger sister. “I still can’t get over how adorable they look together. Even if Nocturnus is a bat pony, it still makes him so cute to be with little Scootaloo~! Oh, every time I see them even smile at one another it makes my heart just want to burst! They have to be the most adorable couple I’ve ever seen~!” “I know, they really are~.” Sweetie cooed, her cheeks gaining a pink tint. “It just makes me want to just how them both like they’re one of my plushies! Oh, what I wouldn’t give to be in Nocturnus’s position right now~!” Rarity nodded in agreement. “Your thoughts are exactly mine’s darling. I’m sure that it’ll come someday with the two of us, but just not today.” A soft sigh left her as she turned back to her work. “We can at least enjoy the blissfulness of being single without care. That’s one plus sign with not having a special somepony.” “Uh-huh, that’s great too~!” Sweetie nodded, her tail skirt swaying back and forth. She suddenly heard a thumping sound coming from downstairs, realizing that somepony was at the door. “Oh, somepony’s at the door! That must be Nocturnus and the girls!” Before Rarity could stop her, the filly was already rushing downstairs. “Hold on guys, I’m coming!” “Don’t run down the stairs, Sweetie Belle!” Rarity called form inside of her room. “And make sure to look through the peephole first! I don’t want there to be a stranger at the door trying to snatch you!” “Got it~!” Sweetie called back, already making her way down the bottom of the stairs. Using her magic, she levitated herself up to the peephole and looked through to see outside the door. Upon seeing who it was, she let herself drop back down before practically throwing the door open. “Hi, everypony!” Sweetie squealed, smiling widely at the trio of teenagers that was standing at the door. “You guys are here early!” “Howdy Sweetie Belle!” Apple Bloom said jovially, her orange eyes peering back at her from behind the black mask she had on. Around her chest, midsection, rump, and legs, were a matching black shirt and skirt, with her boots having symbols of fire on them. “We sure are early! Apparently, we had more spare time then we thought. So we decided t’ get here b’fore there was a chance fer us t’ run late.” “That makes it even better!” Sweetie said happily as she let her friends in, closing the door behind them. “Rarity really doesn’t like it when ponies aren’t on time. Most of all when she has an order finished and ready to be sold. You guys all managed to get here ahead of time, so you can avoid one of her annoying lectures tonight.” “Only you would be relieved about something like that. Not that I’d blame you.” Nocturnus chuckled, straightening the black and red cloak around his fluffy neck. “By the way, why aren’t you in your costume? I thought that you were going to have it on when we got here?” “I was, but Rarity had lost track of when she was supposed to make my suit,” Sweetie replied, gaining a slightly annoyed look. She took a glance at the stairs as if it was an incredibly irritating fly that she could not shake off. “Apparently, she had gotten swept up in another one of her romance novels. For the fourth time this week, I might add. I had to give her a little reminder that there was something she needed to do so she wouldn't fall behind on it... again.” “Oh, dear. That doesn’t sound good.” Scootaloo said, fidgeting a bit with the gleaming white robe wrapped around her. Her wings were concealed in a pair of white dove-like wings that helped add to her angelic appearance, with her head containing a crown with many different flowers. “Was Rarity able to finish it on time?” “She’s going to finish it in a little bit,” Sweetie replied glancing up at the stairs. “I was honestly worried that she wouldn’t be able to do it on time, but she did it quicker than I expected. I guess when you’re under a lot of pressure, you can accomplish more than you thought.” “Some ponies can relate to that, but not all.” Nocturnus murmured, shrugging as he patted at his fedora. “I can’t wait to see your new costume, Sweetie Belle. I bet you’re going to look beautiful in it!” “Awww, thank you Nocturnus! I’m sure I will~.” Sweetie cooed, blushing a bit from the compliment. “But not quite as pretty as Scootaloo looks. After all, she is your fillyfriend. Not to mention she’s dressed like an angel. Then again, she’s already an angel in your eyes, isn’t she?” Nocturnus smiled back, his slitted eyes turning to the aforementioned filly. “Uh-huh, she really is my little angel.” He planted a kiss on a blushing Scootaloo’s lips, to which she reciprocated by gently return it. “Way more of an angel than a certain bunny I know.” “Oh, don’t be so hard on Cumulus Nocturnus.” Scootaloo gently chastised. “It’s not like he’s trying to keep us away from each other. He’s just… really protective of me as all. Cumulus doesn’t want to see me hurt and is only trying to keep me safe.” “I’m pretty sure that biting my ears, pulling at my fangs, and nearly ripping off my balls isn’t a good example of keeping somepony safe.” Nocturnus deadpanned. “Or have you forgotten just last weekend when he tried to bite the head of my dick off when I was trying to take you from behind in Fluttershy’s backyard?” Apple Bloom exploded into laughter, holding her stomach as she practically fell off her hooves while Scootaloo looked away in embarrassment. Sweetie looked in between them, her wideness of her eyes matching the darkness of her blush. She stared at Scootaloo questioningly, but she said nothing as the latter's mind wandered to the incident that took place several days prior. It was on a warm sunny Saturday afternoon when Nocturnus decided he wanted to have some fun with Scootaloo while Fluttershy was out shopping for food. They had decided to go into her backyard while he took her hard from behind against a tree as he did back at Sweet Apple Acres. Or at least, that was what he planned before Cumulus biting on Nocturnus’s cock had ended it. It was a good ten minutes of him flying and kicking around the backyard with an angry bunny on him before Fluttershy finally came to the rescue. After using her Solar Stare to stop Cumulus’s assault, she used her healing magic to heal the wound on the poor colt’s cock. Even though he was healed, she advised them not to get too rough with each other during sex. Least her healing magic gets messed up in the process. Both foals took her advice to heart, though Nocturnus swore to make sure that Cumulus was nowhere around if he decided to mate with Scootaloo in Fluttershy’s backyard again. As for Cumulus himself... well, something told Scootaloo he was not going to be getting any of Fluttershy's special carrots anytime soon. “O-okay, I’ll exclude that out of the list of times when he was trying to keep me safe,” Scootaloo said, her mind flashing back to the incident back at her sister’s cottage. “Cumulus did go a little too far there.” “He tried to bite the top half of my dick off like it was a carrot dug up from the ground. I’d say that’s more than going a little too far.” Nocturnus emphasized bluntly as Apple Bloom laughed even harder. He sighed, smiling a bit as he wrapped a wing around Scootaloo. “Still, it wasn’t all bad. At least I had you to take care of me when I was hurt down there~.” Scootaloo returned her coltfriends smile, even as the blush on her face deepened. “M-mhm, I sure did.” “U-um, guys?” Sweetie asked timidly, her cheeks as red as Roseluck’s cutie marks. “Is there something I should know about?” “Nothing, we’ll tell you later Sweetie Belle,” Nocturnus said dismissively as Apple Bloom finally began to calm down. At that moment, he looked up and smiled a bit, saying, “Oh! It looks like your sister is done with your costume!” Blinking, Sweetie turned around, only to feel her vision, head, and forelegs being obscured by something large and soft. She then felt something being put on her head and forelegs before something sticky got planted on her face. Once she caught herself, she lifted the witch hat on her head and saw Rarity smiling warmly down at her. “There we are darling~!” She gushed, batting her eyelashes at the younger unicorn. “Your suit is complete!” Sweetie paused for a moment and looked down at her custom. On her was a deep purple shirt having a lighter purple skirt at the bottom, with yellow stars near the edges. Her hooves were covered in stockings, ranging from lighter and darker colors of purple. Lastly, on her head, was a hat that could only belong to a witch, with a yellow stripe going around it. “Oh wow! It’s even better than I thought it was going to be!” Sweetie exclaimed, smiling widely up at her sister. “It absolutely amazing Rarity! It really is!” “I know I do darling. I’m the one who made it after all.” Rarity said somewhat smugly as Sweetie twirled around in her costume like a ballerina. “I’m assuming you like it?” “I sure do~!” Sweetie replied, hugging her sister around her front legs. “I love it so much! Thank you, Rarity! It’s beautiful!” “Oh, you’re welcome darling~. Anything for my darling little sister on a night such as this~.” Rarity cooed, nuzzling her sister’s forehead. “It just looks absolutely marvelous on you! Just what you need for the big event that is yet to come tonight!” “The big event?” Sweetie repeated, looking up at her sister in confusion. A second later, her sharp mind licked as she connected the dots. “Oh! You mean that big event! The one that’s supposed to be taking place later on tonight.” Resisting the urge to slap herself for her stupidity the filly looked back at her sister again. “What’s the big event that you said was going to happen again?” “I’m afraid that I can’t tell you that darling.” Rarity replied, smiling apologetically at her sister. “But, fret not! You will know soon enough my dear! Trust me, it’ll be all the more wonderful if you found out yourself. And when you do, you will be absolutely ecstatic!” Sweetie went silent, staring up at her sister with a raised brow before shaking her head. She didn’t know what in Maleficent’s name her sister was talking about but decided not to question it. Throughout her time in knowing her, Rarity hardly stirred her wrong, especially when it came to amazing surprises. While Sweetie wanted to know just what was in store for her, she also that there was no way she was going to get it out of Rarity no matter what she tried. Still, if she said she was going to like what she’d be given, then Sweetie had no reason to doubt her. The filly had yet to realize just how good the surprise she was going to get would be. “Alright then… if you say so.” Sweetie said, resigning from her questioning. “I really don’t know what’s planned tonight this Nightmare Night, or what I’m gonna enjoy about it. but if you say that I will, then… I’ll just have to take your word for it.” “Oh, you will certainly enjoy it darling.” Rarity nodded, smiling excitedly as her sister turned back to her friends. “You most certainly will~…” “Oh my! You look amazing Sweetie Belle~!” Scootaloo said sweetly. “You actually do look like a dark mage!” “Ya sure do!” Apple Bloom nodded, still having her smile of mirth. “The only thing yer missin’ now is th’ staff!” “Eh, I’m not really a fan of magical staffs. That’s more Twilight’s thing.” Sweetie Belle shrugged with a wave of her hoof. “My horn is all I need since I am a dark mage now. You know, since I am a unicorn~!” “Yeah, good point. You are the one who can use magic the most expertly. I guess it would be a little silly if you were to have a staff.” Nocturnus giggled, his bat wings fluttering from underneath his cloak. “So, are you ready to go now?” “Yep! I sure am!” Sweetie nodded, bouncing over to her friends. “Let’s get this trick or treating quest started!” “Alrighty then, let’s get to it!” Apple Bloom said happily, leading the others towards the exit. “See ya Rarity! We’re goin’ off now!” “Have fun my darlings~!” Rarity said as the teenagers rushed out the door. “Don’t get into too much trouble tonight! And be sure to be somewhere were somepony can see you if you find yourselves in danger!” “We will!” Sweetie said back as she and her friends vanished into the streets. Rarity watched them vanish into the streets before gently closing the door behind her. As she made her way back up the stairs to her workroom, she couldn’t help but smile at the thought of the events that would soon transpire. Events that would leave her dear little sister satisfied with far more than just a candy-filled tummy. A Glorious ReunionOne of the things that Sweetie Belle loved about Nightmare Night was that it was one of the days that she could really let loose. Where she felt like she could really act like a foal other than on days where it was expected of her to do just that. Unlike the times where she’s with her sister, who expects her to act like a proper lady. When she’s with ponies like her sister’s friends, or even her own friends, she didn’t have to worry about that. There wouldn’t be any Rarity to watch her and how she acted around anypony whenever they were together. During those times, it would just be Sweetie, her friends, and anypony else they were hanging out with. Not judging her or expecting her to act a certain way other than like a sweet and adorable little filly. One who was too naïve to stay out of any kind of trouble whatsoever. That was the feeling that Sweetie’s friends were feeling as they trotted along Ponyville’s streets. Other foals could be seen adorning costumes that were similar and different from them. Some were dressed as monsters, while others were dressed as royalty, with one even dressed as a hidden superhero. It took a moment for the group to guess that it was actually a costume of the infamous Mare Do Well. This took the crusaders by surprise, having not expected Element Bearers' old costume idea to come back. Then again, this was Nightmare Night, a time where you could be dressed as anything, so it was too unexpected. Still, it was pretty weird to see somepony dressed as that character in particular. As they continued to explore the streets, the group searched for ponies they could look for to get candy. They looked around for any houses that looked to be easy pickings and looked to have any candy. So far, most of them were occupied with foals that were already at the door or already had baskets full of candy out. Some of the houses looked to be devoid of anypony, but there looked to be no candy baskets out. Let alone anypony looking out for any foals that may come to their door. “Gosh, th’ streets sure are packed tonight ain’t they?” Apple Bloom asked herself. “There’s hardly a house here that isn’t sellin’ out candy to anypony.” “I don’t really find it all that surprising,” Nocturnus murmured with a shrug as he walked beside Scootaloo. “Some of the foals here are reaching the same age as us. And yet they’re trying to celebrate some of their last Nightmare Nights in Ponyville as foals. It’s the only thing that can explain why they’re so extra excited tonight.” “I honestly feel bad for them if you don’t mind me saying,” Scootaloo said softly, looking at the much younger foals as they road along the backs of their siblings. “Just think that after this, they won’t really be able to spend Nightmare Night as freely as they used to. Even if they do, that enjoyment they felt when they were younger will no longer be there.” “It’s kind of sad really,” Sweetie interjected, sounding slightly solemn. “It’s reasons like that where I wish that I was still a foal. A time where I was still that cute little filly. That way it’d be much easier for me to get as much candy as I want and eat it until I pop!” “That is until you get a massive tummy ache that prevents you from eating any more candy,” Nocturnus said teasingly, blowing a raspberry at Sweetie. “I can remember the multiple times where you went green in the face from having a large belly. You really did look like marshmallow ready to pop with just a single poke!” Sweetie shot a glare at her bat pony friend. “For your information Nocturnus, marshmallows don’t pop on their own!” She said heatedly, a slight squeak making its way in her voice. “They expand at the very least when they’re heated inside of microwaves! Every time I made some smores for me and Rarity, not once did they pop at all!” “Yeah, that’s true. At least form yer perspective Sweets.” Apple Bloom shrugged with a small smirk. “Though by the end of tonight, any marshmallows that we have ain’t gonna be the only things that’ll grow like a pig gettin’ a pot belly.” “W-where are you going with that?” Sweetie asked slowly, getting an unfamiliar feeling in her gut. “Are you saying that I’m getting fat?” “Course not. That was just metaphorical.” Apple Bloom replied, not losing her smirk. “Still, be prepared for tonight, ‘cause yer definitely gonna be close to poppin’ like a marshmallow then.” Still feeling pretty confused but feeling like she wasn’t going to get any more answers, Sweetie just nodded; albeit hesitantly. “Okay, if you say so…” Scootaloo and Nocturnus frowned at their lover, clearly not amused by the way she was teasing Sweetie. Before either could reprimand her, a squeal from the latter made the former turn her attention to him. They all stopped when they saw the look of absolute fear in his eyes, his wings instinctively flared with the sudden urge to fly. At first, the alabaster filly was confused as to what had him so terrified, but upon seeing what, or rather, who Nocturnus saw, the answer became clear. Standing just forty feet away from the four teens, giving out trees to one foal at a time, were a few members of the apple family. Bright Macintosh and Pear Butter could be seen at the front of a large apple stand with a multitude of apple-related treats. At the back of the stand, was Applejack and Big Macintosh, the latter strapped to a cart full of foals, while the latter was giving them caramel apples. All of them looked to be having a wonderful time. A time that was soon going to be broken by the presence of the colt just feet away from them. “Oh, Gaia above… it’s mah family.” Apple Bloom murmured; her chipper mood all but dissipating at the sight of her fellow kin. Mainly her brother and older sister. “Ah really wish we didn’t need t' see them right now.” “Why? Aren’t you happy that they’re all out here on Nightmare Night?” Sweetie asked quizzically, her confusion only increasing. “Yes, but that ain’t it.” Apple Bloom replied with a glance towards her phone. “It’s because of the incident that happened back at mah farm. The one that Ah told ya about around seven months ago?” “…Oh, that… right.” Sweetie cringed as the implications of what Apple Bloom was saying colliding ringing in her head like a grand central bell. “You’re talking about the day that you, Nocturnus, and Scootaloo had your, um… three-way?” “The day that Nocturnus and I decided to open our relationship and include more fillies in it, yes,” Scootaloo replied softly, her tone unusually straightforward. “You do remember what I said had happened on that day, don’t you?” Sweetie gave another cringe. She certainly remembered being told about the incident at Sweet Apple Acres seven months prior. Along with what had transpired after the hot and passionate sex that all three of her friends had together. It was just really bad luck that they happened to be found by her family; mainly Big Mac and Applejack. It was only by the graces of Faust and Pear Butter, Bright Mac, and Granny Smith’s help that they were not turned into ponified caramel apples. Scootaloo and Nocturnus were lucky enough to get away from the two enraged siblings and meet a similar fate, but Apple Bloom was not so lucky. From what Apple Bloom told them, she had endured a screaming rant by her elder sister. Had her parents not been holding then back, they would have surely strangled the life out of her with the ropes Applejack kept in her closet. Thankfully, Granny Smith had finally managed to calm them down and only had her son and daughter in law release them under the promise they did not to demolish their sister. Despite this, Apple Bloom’s troubles were far from over, and the next couple of weeks were spent with her enduring being worked to the bone on the farm by Applejack. Fortunately, her parents and grandmother weren’t upset with her and promised they’d never speak of the incident to anypony else. Even so, those were still a rough couple of weeks for all of them. “It’s okay Nocty. I’m here~. I’m right here~.” Scootaloo cooed, bringing her coltfriend into a one-winged hug. “Are you okay? “Y-yeah, I’m okay. Don’t worry.” Nocturnus replied, immediately calming down from his fillyfriend’s touch. “I’m just a little nervous right now.” “How nervous?” Apple Bloom asked. “Nervous as in, going to pass out from fear of being flayed alive, or going to have a panic attack nervous?” “…I think I’m gonna go with the former.” “Eeyup. Thought so…” Apple Bloom sighed, hanging her head. “Do you wanna just go somewhere else?” Sweetie asked tentatively after a short silence. “We don’t have to go talk to them if you don’t want to. If it makes you feel uncomfortable, we can head to another part of town.” Nocturnus eyed Sweetie, looking like he was going to accept her offer. He suddenly found himself closing his mouth and looking back to where the Apple Family was. This lasted for some time while a waging battle going on within the colt before he came to a decision. “No.” He finally said. “No, I don’t want to go anywhere else. At least not yet anyway. As a matter of a fact…” He took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. “…I want to go talk to them.” All three fillies looked at the colt in shock. “Y-you… you what?!” Apple Bloom asked, looking like she didn’t quite hear him. “You want to go see them?” “I do. I want to go speak to your family Apple Bloom.” Nocturnus replied firmly. “All of them.” “Are you sure that’s a good idea love?” Scootaloo asked skeptically. “N-not that I’m trying to derail you from your decision but… do you really think that’s the best course of action?” “Yeah, I agree with Scootaloo on this one.” Sweetie took a step forward. “I’m all for saying high to Ms. Pear Butter and Mr. Bright Mac, but you’re the last pony that Applejack and Big Mac want to see right now. I mean, they did, er… catch you making love with Apple Bloom in their own home.” “Actually, they caught us cuddling while being covered in cum.” Scootaloo blurted out without thinking. A second later, she found the back of her head sporting a large lump. “Ow!” “Not. Helpin’.” Apple Bloom glowered, shaking her hoof. “Yeah, I know that. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t have nightmares about it, and for the love of Selene, PTSD. You can as Queen Luna herself if you want more details.” Nocturnus deadpanned as he frowned at Scootaloo, recalling all the times that the Night Mistress had chased away his vivid dreams. “Your bluntness aside, I still want to talk to them. I feel like I owe it to them after I fucked Apple Bloom to Tartarus and back right under all their noses without any of them knowing. And besides, when you take all of that into perspective, they do have every right to be upset with me. Even if Applejack and Big Macintosh were the only ones.” This statement left the three fillies at a loss for words, leaving them with none to say. As much as they wanted to say otherwise, Nocturnus did make a point. They left the Apple Family completely oblivious to what they did in Apple Bloom’s room. It was only natural they reacted the way they did, even if Granny Smith, Pear Butter, and Bright Mac took it with amazing self-control. While they still felt they overreacted just a tad, at the same time, they understood they acted the way they did. Not that they could be upset with them for that anyway. “Well… when you put it like that, you do make a valid point,” Sweetie admitted with a sigh of defeat. “Okay, if that’s what you wanna do Nocturnus, then we’ll support you.” Nocturnus’s ears perked. “You will?” “Mhm! I wouldn’t be a Cutie Mark Crusader if I didn’t protect any of my friends!” The filly replied immediately, moving in front of Nocturnus and cupping his cheeks. “I swear, none of us will let Applejack or Big Mac do anything to hurt you! They’d have to get past us first! And that’s if they can get past Scootaloo’s own Solar Stare before they can even try doing that much. Am I right Scootaloo?” Scootaloo’s response was as quick as an eye blink. “Absolutely~.” Nocturnus smiled, feeling calmer thanks to the assurance given to him by his fillyfriend and his other fellow crusaders. “You know what? You girls are right. I have you guys to keep me safe from anyone who tries to hurt me. Just like you all have me to do the same for you.” “Damn right ya do! And as long as we have each other, that ain’t never gonna change!” Apple Bloom said, patting Nocturnus roughly on his head. “Now that I can believe one hundred percent.” Nocturnus chortled. “Thanks, girls… I’m feeling a lot better now.” “That’s good to hear Nocty~. I’m glad that we could quell your fears.” Scootaloo crooned, leaning in and kissing her coltfriend on the forehead. “If you ever need to talk to me about it, I’m here~.” “…Thank you~.” The colt cooed, closing his eyes and nuzzling his fillyfriend. Another sigh left Nocturnus’s mouth before he pulled away to look at Apple Bloom’s family. “Alright… I’m ready.” Against their expectations, the meeting between the Apple Family and the Cutie Mark Crusaders went better than originally anticipated. Unsurprisingly, Applejack and Big Mac were not happy to see Nocturnus, still steamed after finding out he had mated with Apple Bloom. No harm was done to the young bat colt thankfully, due to their parents and grandmother being there; all of whom greeted the four with far more cheer. Despite this, that didn’t stop Nocturnus from profusely apologizing to the family for what happened at the farm, which lasted for a good minute. Most of all to Applejack and Big Mac, since they were the ones who were the maddest at him. Even if they were the only ones who got genuinely mad. Neither the farm mare nor the draft stallion accepted the colt’s apology, feeling as if he was only doing it because he was caught. Pear Butter, Bright Mac, and Granny Smith, however, were not so unforgiving, and they showed it by comforting the colt to the best of their abilities. After the tears were dried, Granny Smith then went out of her way to give them a few apple treats, such as fritters and caramel apples. With a few kisses to their foreheads, she sent the foals off, but not before having, or rather, forcing, Applejack and Big Mac to give them a few extra treats. The crusaders then left the stand, unable to take the smoldering looks Apple Bloom’s brother and sister were giving them. Although they were happy at the prospect of having a lot more candy. “How’re ya doin’ over there Nocturnus?” Apple Bloom asked as they headed down the street. “Ya feelin’ ya can actually breath right now?” “Uh-huh,” Nocturnus replied, relief evident in his voice. “I’m feeling great as a matter of a fact. Like an entire weight has been lifted off my shoulders.” “I’m not surprised honestly. You were staring into the eyes of death when you went to talk to Applejack and the rest of her family.” Sweetie giggled, carrying her much fuller candy back in her magic. “I’m amazed really. You looked so scared that I thought you were going to tuck tail and run! I’ve never seen you that terrified before.” “Well, when yer at th’ risk o’ bein’ killed by th’ ponies whose sister you rutted t’ th’ moon an’ back, you tend t’ be more than a little scared.” Apple Bloom pointed out. “Can’t really disagree with you on that.” Scootaloo nodded, shivering as if she could still feel Applejack and Big Mac’s burning gazes behind her head. “I was close to wetting myself thanks to Applejack and Big Mac glaring at me so hard. Thank Faust that Granny Smith was there, or I would have lost control of my bladder. Now that would’ve really been embarrassing.” “Well, it’s over now. Nocturnus did what he went over there to do and he doesn’t have to worry about it hanging over his head anymore.” Sweetie said in an attempt to lighten the mood. “We can enjoy the rest of our nightmare night without any more awkward or tense situations. Or any worries of threats of being neutered, right Nocty?” “Er…right,” Nocturnus replied awkwardly with a sweatdrop. At that moment, the colt stopped in his tracks, his ears perking as they flicked about atop his head. The other crusaders noticed, and they stopped in their walking as well. “What’s the matter Nocturnus?” Sweetie asked, setting her candy bag beside her. “Do you hear something?” The colt nodded. “…Yeah, I can hear voices coming from somewhere near here.” He replied, closing his eyes in concentration. “It’s a little hard to hear them, but I think I can recognize them.” “Who is it yer hearin’?” Apple Bloom inquired. “Is it yer sister Violet Wing?” “No, it’s not her.” Nocturnus shook his head, channeling magic into his ears to enhance his earing. “It sounds like… like…” His eyes suddenly snapped open as it clicked. “It’s my parents!” “Your parents?!” Scootaloo gasped, hearing the other fillies follow suit. “You mean the leaders of Queen Luna’s Lunar Guard are in Ponyville?!” “Yes, they are! They’re in town! I can hear them all the way from here!” Nocturnus cried, a smile of excitement spreading as he trotted in place. “Oh, my goodness! That’s wonderful!” Sweetie squeaked, her white muzzle gaining a smile of her own. “Can you pinpoint where they are?” “I just did! They’re ‘right where the Town Square is!” Nocturnus replied, his wings spreading to carrying him in the air. “Come on girls! Let’s go!” Without waiting for their response, the colt made a beeline for the Ponyville Town Square. The three fillies quickly followed after him, barely managing to get their candy bags in time and support them as they followed Nocturnus. They weaved and darted past other foals and older ponies, their shouts and reprimanding yells filling their ears as they went about. By the time the trio caught up with the colt, they were already at the Town Square, where they could see ponies packed in front of the building. Miniature pools dotted the ground like the ends of carrots sticking out of the soil, filled apples and other sweets that floated within the water. Colts and fillies were grouped around them, diving their heads in the water in an attempt to fish out as much candy as possible. Squeals and laughter were heard as the foals enjoyed themselves to their heart's content, supervised by any adults that were with them. In the middle of the head-bopping foray, a duo of thestrals could be seen in front of a stand that was bigger than that of the Sweet Apple Titan’s own. Pumpkins, bats, spiders, and pictures of moons and other nightly creatures dotted it from top to bottom, showing just how much work they put into it. Foals of all tribes crowded around them, accepting bags and prizes as the bat ponies gazed upon them with warmth and sweetness. So focused were they on their work, they took notice of the four teens standing yards away from them; one of which looked like he was going to explode with excitement. “Is that them, Nocturnus?” Sweetie asked the colt. “Is that your parents?” “Yeah! It’s them!” The colt replied, his head nodding faster than a jackhammer through concrete. “That’s my Mom and Dad! Evening Glory and Supernova! Over at that stand!” “Ah have t’ say, Ah wasn’t’ expectin’ them t’ be here in Ponyville.” Apple Bloom uttered. “Ah thought they would’ve been back in Canterlot City runnin’ Queen Luna’s Lunar Guard.” “Queen Luna must’ve given them the night off,” Scootaloo said, watching in amusement as her coltfriend trotted in place. “And it looks like somepony is happy about it~.” “Remind me to give Luna some sort of thank you present for letting my parents have a day off on my most favorite holiday,” Nocturnus said, his tail whipping back and forth like an overexcited puppy. He then made his towards the stand with the fillies trailing close behind while swerving past the other ponies. With a loud squeal equivalent to that of a baby’s, the colt shouted, “Mom! Dad!” The thestral mare, who had been giving a younger filly a pumpkin full of candy, felt her blackish-grey ears perk up when she heard an all too familiar voice. She whirled around just into time to feel something ram into her and nuzzle into her chest. It took her just a second to figure out who it was that was hugging her before she turned into a squealing mess. “Nocturnus!” Evening Glory squealed, her fangs gleaming as a jovial smile spread across her luscious lips. Without even thinking about it, she brought her forelegs around the back of the colt’s neck, squeezing like he was a little plushie. “Sweet Selene, I can’t believe it! It’s you!” Nocturnus said, hugging his mother just as tightly as she spun around him around in the air. They pulled apart until they were at foreleg’s length, their hooves wrapped around one another. “You and Dad really here in Ponyville!” “We sure are baby! Your dear Mommy and Daddy are here in the flesh! In the most wondrous and peaceful little town in all of Equestria!” Evening Glory nodded, winking at the colt as her deep indigo mane fell over the sight of her face. Her slitted purple eyes gleamed as she looked over to the stormy grey stallion at the other side of the stand. “Hey Supernova! Come on over here and say high to our little Nocty~!” “As if I was going to do anything else before that!” Supernova said mirthfully, swiftly moving over to the duo. With a swift lunge of his forelegs, he hoisted Nocturnus in his grip and pulled him into his chest, roughly rubbing the top of his head. “Hey there my little stallion! How’ve you been doin’?!” Nocturnus giggled as wriggled around in his father’s grasp. “Hi, Dad! It’s good to see you too!” He greeted, kicking his hind legs out like an overly excited newborn. “What’re you guys doing here on Nightmare Night? I thought you were still back at Queen Luna’s Lunar Division?” “Not tonight we’re not.” Supernova explained as he set Nocturnus down. “Queen Luna decided to give us the night off tonight. She felt that we had deserved a well-deserved break after doing such a good job in keeping the Lunar Division and decided to reward us by letting us off from our Royal Duties today. Saying that we shouldn’t waste such a wonderful night of spookiness and fun cooped up inside of a castle that’s hardly active during the nighttime.” “Don’t you lie to him Supernova!” Evening snorted, picking up Nocturnus’s fallen fedora. “You and I both know that Queen Luna really let us go because we wanted to spend Nightmare Night with our daughter Indigo Shield and our son. She knows how much we think about him whenever we’re at the guard and going on missions. Why do you think she picked today of all nights to let us come see them?” “Because she loves me to bits! That’s why!” Nocturnus replied, smiling widely as his mother set his huge hat atop his head. “Remind me to give her a proper thank you for letting you guys come see me and Indigo Shield tonight. She really deserves it! After all, she is Equestria’s Best Queen, isn’t she?” “She sure is!” The happy squeak of Sweetie Belle said as she and the fillies made it over to the stand. “And as long as she remains one of Equestria’s rulers, she always will be!” “Well, well, well… if it isn’t the infamous Ponyville Crusaders,” Supernova said, smirking down at the fillies. “Good to see you three on this fine night.” “Hello, Mr. Supernova. It’s very nice to see you tonight.” Scootaloo greeted softly, giving a polite bow to the older bat pony. “And you two Ms. Evening Glory.” “It’s good to see you too my little Scooty~.” Evening cooed, planting a motherly kiss on the filly’s forehead. “And please, no need for the formalities. You can just call me Evening Glory. Or just Evening, or Eve if that’s better for you.” “EG’s right Scoots. We’ve been over this before.” Supernova sighed, sounding a bit annoyed as his leonine tail skirt flicked to the side. “You don’t need to keep referring to us as Mr. or Ms. You can just call us by our names just like you do your friends. And besides, you know how we feel about people calling us that… it makes us feel old.” “How old?” Apple Bloom asked, smirking up at the stallion. “Just normal standard old. Or Granny Smith getting up into her years kind of old?” Supernova gave the filly a half-lidded look. “Do you even need to ask that?” Apple Bloom giggled. “Yeah, Ah figured it’d be the latter.” “Oh, I-I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to do that.” Scootaloo said, smiling awkwardly as she hid behind her mane. “It’s just a force of habit I have. I’m getting better with not doing it, really. It’s just… when you’re raised by a family who’s polite to the point where it’s almost cringeworthy, you tend to forget not all people like it.” “I know what you mean, dearie. Trust me. My daughter has told us plenty of stories about your sister’s over the top politeness.” Evening murmured. “Then again, with a mother like Melody Breeze, you can understand why a pony can be like that. Especially someone as sweet and kind as Fluttershy. Thank Selene she’s grown out of it the closer she grew with Indigo Shield… mostly.” “Well, you do know what they say Evening Glory~!” Sweetie chirped mischievously. “Like mother like daughter~!” “Isn’t that the truth,” Nocturnus smirked, laughing as Scootaloo blushed in embarrassment. “So what're you an' Supernova doin’ out here Evenin’ Glory?” Apple Bloom asked, glancing over at the cart. “Ya hostin’ some sort of event ‘r somethin’?” “Well, you could say that.” Evening replied sweetly. “Supernova and I are just in the process of giving out treats to any adorable little foals that happen to be in the area. You know, just give them a little extra piece of sugary goodness that’ll leave them extra jittery. Just like my dear little Nocturnus~.” She took a look at the stuffed backs the crusaders had at their sides. “And it looks like you guys have gotten quite busy yourselves~.” “We sure have!” Apple Bloom said, smiling proudly. “We’ve been really lucky in the last near hour since comin’ out! We’ve gotten more candy than we have in all of our other Nightmare Nights! It’s like we suddenly got a lucky clover hoverin’ over us. With an extra one sproutin’ out!” “We can definitely tell,” Supernova said, whistling as he ran a hoof through his blue and black mane. He paused as he suddenly took in the sight of caramel apples poking out of each of the teens’ bags. “Hold on a second, are those… caramel apples?” At this, Nocturnus flinched, his smile turning into a frown as he glanced at the treats. With a more awkward smile on his face, he turned back to his Dad and said. “Uh, yes, they are caramel apples. We had gotten them back from when we went to um… the Sweet Apple Treat Stand.” “Oh… so by that, you mean… from the Apple Family?” Evening asked as her sweet demeanor diminished slightly. At her son’s light nod, the elder thestral sucked in a breath and looked at her mate, who shared a similar look. She looked back at Nocturnus, before tentatively asking, “Were… Applejack and Big Mac there?” “Yes, they were,” Nocturnus replied, not bothering to beat around the bush. He held up a hoof before either of his parents could even open his mouth, before he said, “Don’t worry, it wasn’t just them though. Granny Smith, Bright Mac, and Pear Butter were there to run the stand too. So Applejack and Big Mac weren’t alone there.” “Pear, Bright and Granny Smith were there too huh? Thank Selene herself for that…” Supernova murmured, giving out a sigh that spoke volumes of his relief. “So, what did you go there specifically there, sport? Did you want to get a few apple treats? Or what…?” “No actually. I wasn’t looking for any treats. At least not until I had left.” Nocturnus replied, rubbing one of his forelegs. At his parent’s expressions, he elaborated, “I actually went over there to say that I was sorry to them for what happened seven months ago. For having our, um… secret fun right without any of them knowing. Evening and Supernova cringed involuntarily, both knowing exactly what their son was getting at. It was no secret to her that Nocturnus, Scootaloo, and Apple Bloom had all engaged in a threesome back at the farm filly home. She and Supernova had heard so from Nocturnus himself one day when visiting their daughter Indigo Shield in Ponyville after he barged into their daughter's home with Scootaloo in tow. After managing to calm the hysterical colt down, she got the full story from both him and his fillyfriend, all the way down to the last detail. Needless to say, both Evening Glory and Indigo Shield were shocked, having not expected something like that to transpire. Unfortunately for them, they wouldn’t really get to chance to really take it all in before a loud banging on Indigo Shield’s door got their attention. Nocturnus, already knowing who it was, begged his sister not to open the door and let in the fury that was standing outside the door. Sadly, Indigo Shield did not listen and did the exact opposite, completely ignoring Nocturnus and Scootaloo’s pleas not to. She quickly came to regret that decision when she found herself staring into the angry eyes of a deceptively calm-looking Applejack. Along with the holes of a magically empowered shotgun at Indigo Shield could tell, just by looking at it, was meant to bodily harm and nothing else. What transpired afterward was the most scarring several minutes of Nocturnus’s entire life. Those several minutes being Applejack chasing him around Indigo Shield’s house and firing off at anything that had the colt anywhere on it. Several destroyed bookshelves, two viciously torn couches, and one demolished gaming set later, Indigo Shield and Evening finally managed to subdue Applejack and stop her tirade. This allowed Scootaloo to get her gun and keep it as far away from her as possible; even going so far as to turn on the safety without the farmer looking. After hogtying Applejack like a bull calf in a rodeo, Indigo Shield immediately flew over to Sweet Apple Acres to get Apple Family; leaving Evening to look after Applejack, Nocturnus, and Scootaloo. It didn’t take long at all for her to come back with Pear Butter, Bright Mac, and Granny Smith, all of whom were not all that surprised at what Applejack had done. That didn’t make them any less furious with her and did not hold anything back in their verbal reprimanding of the hotheaded farmer. They then left with the mare, still hogtied, promising to pay back everything that Applejack had destroyed and then some. “So, you went to apologize for having a little fun with Apple Bloom huh? I can’t say that I’m surprised. From what your sister told me and your mother, that had been the forefront of your mind ever since that incident at her house. I was honestly wondering when you were gonna be able to muster up the courage to actually do it.” Supernova said, frowning sympathetically at his son despite his last words. Ignoring the glare Evening shot him, the stallion asked, “So, how did they take it.” “As ya can probably guess, AJ and Big Mac didn’t forgive him.” Apple Bloom replied solemnly. “They were still pretty pissed by what we did. And they’re still real mad at Nocturnus for ‘forcing’ me to roll ‘round in the hay when Ah wasn’t ready fer it.” “Figures.” Evening said, rolling her eyes as she gave an indignant snort. “And what about Granny Smith, Pear Butter, and Bright Mac? How’d they take it?” This time, it was Scootaloo who spoke up. “They… were actually very forgiving to my coltfriend. I thought for sure that they’d be upset. Or at least be annoyed by what we did.” She looked down at the ground like suddenly saw a mouse scurrying under her hooves. “But no… they were so understanding and didn’t hold any of it against us. They even went as far as to apologize for us for letting Applejack and Big Mac find us first instead of them. I don’t know why they went out of their way to do that but… they did.” “It’s probably because they felt guilty for not taking extra precautions to keep Applejack from doing what she was going to do to Nocturnus.” Sweetie implied, rubbing her chin thoughtfully. “I can certainly see why though. Applejack can be pretty hotheaded and emotionally driven sometimes, especially when it comes to Apple Bloom being harmed. Still, I don’t think even I was expecting her to act so… obtuse.” “I don’t think any of us were sweetheart, Indigo Shield most of all.” Evening said, sighing heavily. “I mean seriously! She could have seriously hurt either Indigo Shield or Nocturnus with that magically high-powered rifle of her’s! I get that she wanted to know what was going on between Apple Bloom and her friends, but come on! Going to that extreme?! What kind of mare even thinks about doing that?! Especially to the little brother of their best friend?!” “A mare who wants nothing more than to but a bullet inside that colt’s head. That’s who,” Supernova said dryly, flicking his black and blue tail. “Still, you and Indigo Shield did manage to stop her from doing that. Along with ripping our son’s balls of his dick so he couldn’t, and I quote from Applejack, “violate any other Sweet Apple fillies with his varmint bat seed.” Selene knows that would’ve been really bad.” “Don’t remind me…” Evening whimpered, her tail tucked between her legs for a brief moment before sighing. “In any case, I have to say that was very big of you to do that Nocturnus. I’m sure you felt really scared doing that. And I know that took a lot of bravery on your part.” “Yeah, it really did.” Nocturnus nodded, laughing somewhat nervously as he did his best not to think about the incredible nerve-wracking task. “But, I managed to do it, and I got the forgiveness that I was searching for. Even if it didn’t completely get it from all of the Apple Family.” “That you did sport,” Supernova said proudly, patting his son on his head. “I’m proud of you for stepping up the way you did. Even if I wasn’t there to see it. Only a real stallion would stare potential death and the face if it meant owning up to what he had done.” “A sweet and brave little stallion to be exact~.” Evening corrected, winking at her mate. “But yes, what your father said.” Nocturnus smiled appreciatively. “Thanks, you guys… that really means a lot to hear you say that. It really, really does.” “Of course, baby. That’s what parents are for~.” Evening cooed lovingly, giving a soft kiss on Nocturnus’s nose. “Now, what do you say we get this drama out of the way and have some nice good family fun? I know that a lot of you must need it after all those boring days at school. You can even have your friends join in if you’d like.” “We’d just love to Evening Glory!” Scootaloo exclaimed, smiling. “Are we gonna do the apple bopping that everypony else is doing?” “That and much more Loo-Loo.” Evening replied, giving a little pinch to Scootaloo’s cheek. “First things first though, we need some help in running the stand to collect some extra bits. You know, just to keep us and our children extra financially secure. You don’t mind helping us do you?” “Are you kiddin’? Of course not!” Apple Bloom replied cheerfully. “Ah’ve done this sort of stuff with mah family practically all the time. Sure we may not be apple products, but that doesn’t mean that Ah won’t jump at the chance at helpin’ other sell other products.” Sweetie nodded enthusiastically. “Yeah, count me in!” “Great!” Supernova said, patting at the stand’s wooden table. “Go one and get your apron’s on and start sellin’ kiddos! We’ve got a lot of customers to satisfy and plenty of foals’ stomachs to fill! The sooner we get done the sooner we’ll all be able to get to the big event to have the night of our lives!” “Night of our lives?” Sweetie asked, pausing upon feeling a huge sense of Deja vu course through her gut. “What does that mean?” “You will soon see my melodious belle.” Evening replied, her warm smile carrying no small amount of slyness to it. “You will soon see~.” Author's Note I had quite a lot of fun with this chapter, mainly the second half involving the crusaders meeting up with Nocturnus's parents, despite not really seeing them that much. I did have a little trouble naming Nocturnus's Dad and figuring out what his Mom looked like, but I eventually managed to get through that. As for the rest of the chapter, I just had the slightest bit of trouble. Mainly with figuring out if I was going to show Nocturnus actively apologizing for what went down with him, Apple Bloom and Scootaloo back at Sweet Apple Acres, but I decided to change that scene into something else. I felt that it would be too long, especially given how I was trying to make the encounter with Evening Glory, Supernova and the Crusaders go. I hope you guys aren't too upset by that, especially since I did want to remaster this story from the beginning. But that's the route I took, and well...I'm sticking to it. Anyway, that's all for now! Tune in next time for when Sweetie Belle and the rest of the Crusaders find out what the special event is. Along with the welcoming of a new harem filly for our dear little thestral colt!!! A Tender InvitationAuthor's Note I know I said I was going to have Sweetie Belle brought into the herd in this chapter, but I felt that would be better for much later on in the story. Granted, she'll still be able to have her go at Nocturnus, but the herd addition will have to wait a bit longer until after the fun and rutting is done...mostly. Also, Nocturnus's older sister's name will be changed form Crescent Moon to Indigo Shield, just so you know. The next chapter may take a bit longer to do since I'll have to see just how I'll get the surprise orgy going. Still, I'm sure I'll come up with something; I managed to do that with the last two, so I'm sure I'll be able to do the same here!!! Also, little warning, the near end of this chapter contains a colt saying incredibly sweet things to a trio of filly's and creating a whirlwind of feels. Readers discretion is advised... or not, either way Enjoy! A Tender Invitation Time seemed to go by in one massive blur for Sweetie Belle and the Cutie Mark Crusaders while helping Nocturnus’s parents in running their stand. Left and right, ponies came; picking out a variety of items and valuables to buy from Evening Glory and Supernova, either for themselves or for their foals. The two bat ponies happily indulged all their customers, their elusive charm and sweetness managing to win them over. It helped even more with the town's infamous crusaders all being there. Mainly their son, who a few mares and teen fillies could not help but gush at upon seeing his teddy-like self. Despite the attention, the colt was getting from the elder female party, Scootaloo didn’t put up the least bit of a fuss about it. Neither did the other crusaders; all coming to find it amusing to see Nocturnus get coddled like a little toddler. Including Sweetie Belle herself. Before any of them knew it, all of their items and treats were gone, leaving them with a nice big bounty of bits that’d last them for months. The crusaders offered to help Evening and Supernova with the stand, but they kindly declined, saying that Mayor Mare would take care of it for them later on. Though they did ask them to put the stand near the front door of the Town Square for them instead of leaving it outside. Just in case the Ponyville Mayor forgot that she had to actually take the stand back from Nocturnus’s parents. While Sweetie and her friends doubted that would happen, given that this was Mayor Mare, even she could be a bit forgetful at times. So, it was best to take some extra precautions just in case. As soon as the stand was taken care of, Evening and Supernova then proceeded to get into an intense balloon fight with the crusaders. Not ones to be left out, Sweetie Belle, Apple Bloom, Nocturnus and Scootaloo joined in, using their own water balloons to belt Evening and Supernova wet with water. Other foals that were nearby quickly joined in the fun, and it soon turned into an all-out water war between Evening, Supernova, the crusaders, and the colts and fillies of Ponyville. Before too long, the entire ground was covered in water and balloon tears, with a bunch of soaking wet ponies accompanying it. Despite being soaked to the bone, they all had a good laugh along with Sweetie, the elation from the fun they had clearer than glass. The filly had yet to be aware of the real fun was soon going to begin. “Oh wow! That was as a fun water balloon fight that we had!” Sweetie exclaimed, panting heavily as she tried to recover from the extension of energy. “I can’t remember having one that was that intense before!” “Neither can Ah!” Apple Bloom nodded, giggling as the bang of her mane hung in front of her right eye. “Ah have plenty o’ water balloon wars with mah family plenty of times! Ain’t none of them get as crazy as that!” “Well, that’s my Mom and Dad for you!” Nocturnus explained using a towel to dry himself off. “They like to make everything we do seem like some intense battle or something. I remember one time when I was ten, we were visiting relatives in the Lunar Bay Empire, and we were having a water gun outside near the beach shore. Before I knew it, it went from a simple game to an all-out water war between two sides of our relatives!” He let out a muffled laugh as Scootaloo began gently drying his sensitive chest. “It was probably the craziest get-togethers that I ever had with my whole family! It didn’t make it any less fun though!” “I’m glad you had a fun time Nocturnus~,” Scootaloo said lovingly, running the towel across her coltfriend’s cheeks. “I had a great time in the game too. That was probably the most excitement that I’ve ever had in my life… well, aside from some of our own crusades and my trips to the wildernesses with Fluttershy.” “Given just how much you went crazy a few minutes ago, I can see why.” Evening cooed, running a towel of her own across her backside. “It is good for you to unwind a bit sometimes dear. Life can be a real bitch sometimes, and most of the time it isn’t really fun. When you take that into perspective, it’s nice for you to get out and go crazy whenever you get the chance in big events like this.” She winked at the shy filly. “Even for timid little pups like you.” “Isn’t that the truth.” Supernova murmured, a small towel hanging from around his neck. “I hear you there Evening Glory. Rarity could definitely use some unwinding from time to time from her boutique. Maleficent knows she needs it given how hard she works.” Sweetie nodded, pushing her poofy curly mane from her eyes. A moment of quietness passed before she continued on. “By the way… now that we’re on the subject, can I ask you guys something? If that’s alright with you?” Evening Glory turned her full attention to the unicorn filly. “Of course, sweetheart. You can ask us anything that you’d like. Is there something that’s bothering you?” “N-no. Not really.” Sweetie replied, feeling her face turn red under such a sweet and motherly voice. Fluttershy would probably shed tears of pride if she was around to hear it. It was dangerously close to rivaling her’s after all. “It’s um… it’s about something you mentioned. Some event that was said to take place later on tonight.” “An event?” Supernova asked, confusion plain on his face as he quirked a brow. A second and a half after, his eyes widened before his hoof met his face. “Ooooh! Wait a second! That event! The one that Evening Glory and I were supposed to be taking you too! By Selene, I can’t believe I forgot about that!” “Yeah, that one. That’s what I wanted to ask you guys about.” Sweetie confirmed, feeling less apprehensive than before. “Not that I’m trying to ruin what’ll happen or anything but… can you guys please explain to me what this big event is? I’ve heard it be mentioned a couple of times. Both from my sister and from you guys. I wanted to ask you guys about it earlier, but I didn’t want to come off as invasive for anything. Though it has been on my mind ever since I left with my friends and met up with you. If you guys don’t wanna tell me right now, that’s okay. Still, I would like to know. If you’re okay with telling me.” For the longest time, Evening, Supernova, and even Nocturnus were quiet, looking at Sweetie as they took in her curious gaze. The thestral family looked at each other, the looks on their faces clearly debating whether or not they should let the unicorn filly in on what exactly they wanted them to partake in. A sigh from Nocturnus broke the silence and the fillies turned to him as stepped forward, his eyes letting them know that he was the one who was going to explain. “I didn’t want to have to tell you guys this until after my Mom and Dad had taken you us to where the next event was going to take place. But, if you wanna know that badly Sweetie Belle, then I’ll tell you… along with the other crusaders we well.” He said softly, his tone expressing just the slightest bit of disappointment. It was like telling a foal less than half his age that he would not be getting the toy that he always wanted. “I just hope that you guys won’t be too bothered by what I’m going to tell you.” “Bothered?” Sweetie asked, feeling an incredible sense of guilt burn in her chest at the tone in the colt’s voice. “Bothered by what?” Nocturnus ignored Sweetie’s question, and instead went on in his explanation. “You see… my family has this, um… an event of a sort that takes place. A special event that takes at least twice a year. One of them on the night of the Blue Harvest Moon over in the Lunar Bay Empire, and the other Nightmare Night Holidays.” Sweetie tilted her head. “What kind of event?” “Well…” Nocturnus began, pawing at the ground as a red tint grew from within his cheeks. “It’s one where a good amount of bat ponies come together from the Lunar Bay Empire and go to a secret location in different parts of Equestria. There, they participate in a, um… party of some sorts that’s away from any prying eyes, aside from the animals.” His eyes shut tight as his blush grew darker. “It’s not just any ordinary group party though.” “What kind is it?” Scootaloo asked tenderly. “Is a party where you all come together and do, um…private things?” Nocturnus slowly nodded. “Yes, it is. And it’s not just any private party either.” Taking in a deep breath, he forced out the next words like they were a bad taste in his mouth. “It’s an all-out sex party between the bat ponies of the Lunar Bay Empire. In other words, an all-out orgy.” Sweetie, Apple Bloom, and Scootaloo’s jaws all dropped like a trio of anchors. “An… a-an orgy?!” Sweetie asked loudly, her voice at such a high pitch that she sounded like a mouse instead of an actual pony. “Y-you mean, an actual orgy?! The one where a bunch of ponies join up and fornicate each other while being watched and watching others that my sister likes to go to sometimes?! Just like the one that Pinkie Pie hosted on her twenty-fifth birthday last year with my sister and their friends?! That kind of orgy?!” Evening rushed over and immediately covered Sweetie’s mouth. “Quiet, dear! Somepony else might hear you!” She hissed softly; her eyes filled with fear as she looked around where the group was. After seeing that nopony else was around, she released the filly’s mouth and said in a gentler tone, “Yes Sweetie Belle… that kind of orgy. Me, Supernova, and Nocturnus were all planning to take you all to a group sex party where you can all rut each other and get rutted to your heart’s content.” “In other words, where you all fuck straight to the moon and back.” Supernova specified more bluntly, smirking slightly. “Ho… h-holy shit…” Apple Bloom breathed, taking a few steps back as she fought to compose herself. It looked like she was about to fall over, but the filly managed to keep herself balanced; albeit barely. “Ah was no expectin’ ya t’ tell us somethin’ like that. Ah figured that ya had somethin’ big t’ tell us, but… something like this? Now that really threw me fer one massive loop.” “Neither was I…” Scootaloo murmured; the look of disbelief on her face speaking words that her mouth would never be able to. Taking in a calming breath, she turned to her coltfriend and asked, “Is this what you meant by what you told me earlier when you came to pick me up Nocturnus? About you having a super special surprise in store for all of us?” Nocturnus nodded embarrassedly. “Eeyup, this was what I meant Scootaloo. I was planning to have you all join me and my parents in what’s probably the wildest sex parties ever seen in all of Equestria. That is if you guys wanted to at least…” “Wow… of all things that I expected to happen to me tonight, joining in an orgy was definitely not on that list.” Sweetie breathed, sitting on her haunches as her brain did it’s best to take in the information. As a few seconds, passed, the shock on her face morphed into something else, and she looked up at the others with furrowed brows. “Actually, this explains a lot.” “Explains what baby?” Evening asked curiously. “Why my sister was acting so happy and excited for me today,” Sweetie replied, getting back up to her feet. “Ever since morning rolled around, she’d always ramble on about how she was excited that Nightmare Night had finally arrived for me. How tonight was the night that she had been waiting for. Where I’d finally be able to participate in “the one erotic event that will turn me into a true mare.” I had no idea what she meant by that. I figured that tonight something super special would happen and that involved the other foals and teenagers in some way.” She swished her leonine tail and looked down at the ground. “It looks like I was right. Or half right, at least.” “Rarity gave you little bitty hints at what I had planned for you huh?” Nocturnus asked, sighing exasperatedly. “Dammit, I knew that mare could not keep a secret. That mare really cannot keep her mouth shut when needed. And right after she promised Violet Wing that she wouldn’t give out too many details! I’m gonna have to let big sis know about that so she can have a talk with Rarity later…” “We’ll take care of that for you champ, don’t worry. We’ll make sure Indigo Shield gives Rarity a scolding out when she gets the chance.” Supernova assured, patting his son’s back before giving a silent nod to Evening. “So… how are you three feeling about this? About the… orgy and stuff?” “Honestly? Ah feel like Ah’m about to faint after getting a dose of Indigo Shield or Nocturnus’s Crimson Glare.” Apple Bloom replied dizzily. “Ah did not have any idea you were plannin’ somethin’ like this Nocturnus. Ah never would’ve thought that ya would have this tucked up in that fancy book-lovin’ noggin’ o’ years. Not in a million years.” “Can’t say that I blame you.” Nocturnus shrugged, looking off to the side. “To be honest, it wasn’t even my idea. It was suggested by my Mom and Dad if I wanted to bring anyone to the orgy they were planning to go to. I was originally planning on bringing Scootaloo with me, and maybe even Apple Bloom if she wanted to go.” He looked back up at all three fillies, his ears pinning back as his pupils became rounder. “But then I realized how unfair that would be if I didn’t have all of you come with me. T-that is if you guys wanted to…” “Wait, so… you wanted to include all of us in the orgy? Even me?” Sweetie asked, putting a hoof to her chest. Nocturnus gave a soft, nodded, and Sweetie suddenly found herself feeling incredibly touched for some reason. “But… but why would you want to do that for us?” “Simple,” Nocturnus replied, his ears perking back up. “Because you girls are my family.” All three fillies flinched in surprise. Of all the things they expected to hear from the colt, that was the least likely of all. “We’re… we’re your family?” Scootaloo repeated quietly, feeling her heart clench. “Yes, we are.” Nocturnus nodded, taking a couple of steps closer. “From the day that I met you three, you have been the best friends that I ever had. Sure, I had some back when I was living in Canterlot with my sister, but there’s weren’t really, genuine. You guys though?” He smiled sweetly. “You are a completely different story. You are the first real friends that I had outside of my family, my sister, and Spike too. Not once did any of you guys leave me hanging, even in the worst of times. Sure, we had our fights and disagreements, but we never let any of that bother us. In the end, no matter how much we fought, and no matter how much we were hurt, we always managed to pull through. Over time, I came to see you girls, as more than just friends. I saw you as an actual genuine family. The type of family that could only be forged by the bonds we make instead of by blood. The more we got to know each other, the more I felt that we’d always be connected, and when we finally got our Cutie Marks, I knew. I just knew... that no matter what happened, nothing would ever tear us apart.” The colt took another step forward towards the girls, who, at this point, started to get tears in their eyes. “You girls are some of the kindness, sweetest, and most amazing ponies that I ever had the pleasure of meeting. More than any other pony that I ever came across. Which, honestly, isn’t really saying much. When I laughed, you all laughed with me. When I cried, you all comforted and shared your tears with me. Whenever I got into a fight, you fought alongside me. And whenever I was in trouble, you were always there to protect me. There is not one time where I can think of when you girls weren’t there with me. To keep me safe. To care for me. To battle for me. To bring me up whenever I was put down. And so on, and so forth. Each time I think of you it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. And I know that wherever the road takes us, we’ll have so many more of those wonderful moments.” His eyes blinked rapidly as he tried to fight back tears of his own. “That’s why I’m doing this for you girls. Giving this offer to you tonight. To show you all just how much I care for you, and how much I’m thankful for all you’ve done for me up to now.” By the time Nocturnus was finished, Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo’s eyes were glistening and spilling out tears like spring water over a waterfall. No words could describe the amount of warmth coursing through their chests. Or the knife-sharp tenderness that was piercing its way through their hearts each time they beat. They couldn’t move from their spots, their legs shaking like leaves in the wind. They could hardly take in clear breathes due to them being shaky from the absolutely heartwarming speech that Nocturnus had given them. The tears they were crying and the sobs they were emitting kept them from saying anything. Not that they really could think of what to say. Eventually, the girls managed to calm themselves down after spending a good minute clearing their eyes of liquid. Nocturnus waited patiently for them to collect themselves, not noticing the looks his parents had on their faces. Sweetie Belle was the first to speak, and when she did, her voice was as shaky an earthquake splitting its way through a vast field of plains. “N… Nocturnus~. That is the sweetest thing anypony has ever said to us. I… we had no idea we could mean that much to anypony… especially to you~.” She whimpered; her flushed cheeks painted black with mascara. “I… I knew that you cared about us in your own way. You proved that plenty of times the more we got to know you, but… we never thought it’d to be this extent.” “Sweetie’s right.” Apple Bloom nodded, gulping in some air to keep herself from sobbing. “Ah knew that ya cared fer us all. The number of times ya did all those sweet and gentlecolty things told us that much. Ya told us a lot of sweet things to our faces; each one bein’ sweeter than the last.” A mixture of a laugh and a cry left her muzzle. “But that… was not expected at all. Ah mean, wow… who would’ve thought Ah’d hear that of all things come out o’ that apple piercing fanged mouth o’ yers?” Scootaloo nodded, her multi-colored eyes practically pouring salty droplets. “That… t-that was just so…s-so… I-I don’t even know what to say to that. That was sweeter than anything I could’ve ever imagined.” Her eyes shut tight as she attempted and barely succeeded, in fighting back another weep. “And coming from me… that’s saying a lot. It really is.” “I can imagine so.” Nocturnus chuckled, smiling lovingly at his fillyfriend. “Although, I didn’t think you guys would get this worked up. I mean, I know what I said was going to make you get all emotional, but I didn’t think it’d hit you this hard. It’s like you guys had just got seeing an incredibly depressing movie.” “Well, what did ya expect?” Apple Bloom asked, smirking despite her watery eyes. “You spent the last half-minute tellin’ us how we’re the most special ponies in all the world. An’ right in front o’ her Ma an’ Pa no less! After sayin’ somethin’ like that, ya really expect us to not start cryin’ like a horde o’ apples getting’ bucked off a tree? Ah think not!” “Yeah, you make a good point,” Nocturnus said, rubbing his head sheepishly. “I do have a knack for bringing out the feels in ponies. Even if I don’t mean it. I should’ve expected to be able to do the same here with you. let alone all of you.” He set his hoof down as he cleared his throat. “So… what do you guys say? You wanna join in on the orgy with us? If you’re still up for it?” None of the fillies said anything for quite a time, all still a bit caught up in their emotions to really say anything. Then, slowly, they walked over to him, their expressions all half-lidded as they stared into the colt’s eyes. A squeal soon came from Nocturnus when all three fillies dogpiled him, bringing him into the most intense group hug he had ever received since the formation of their club. He was then assaulted by three pairs of lips that kissed him on every part of his face possible without relent. By the time they finally got off him, his entire face was covered in lip marks, thus giving a guess as to just how happy they were at the moment. “I’ll… take that as a yes.” Nocturnus murmured dizzily, laughing as Scootaloo kissed his forehead. “A very wet, very teary, and very kissy yes, but a yes nonetheless.” The sound of a nose being blown snapped he colt out of his blissful stupor, and he looked up to see where it was coming from. Upon seeing none of the crusaders blowing their noses, he turned around and was met with a sight he was more or less expecting. Evening, who had been standing right behind him, had a handkerchief in one of her hooves. Her other hoof was busy trying to wipe away the tears cascading down her cheeks, having been hit hard by her son’s words. Try as she might, she just couldn’t stop them from falling, and each time she tried to say something, it’d always end in another sob and more tears. Supernova was busy comforting her, and although there were no tears in his, the look on his face spoke for his own emotions. "Selene’s gleaming fangs… that was so beautiful!” Evening whined, finally mustering the courage to speak. “That was the most heartwarming thing I’ve ever heard in my entire life! I don’t think I’ve ever heard something that was that sweet before, I… oh I just can’t take it!” “Geez Evening Glory! Calm down!” Supernova chuckled, trying to hide his cracking voice through a grin. “It wasn’t that emotional! Sure, it was sweet what he said about them but there’s no need for you to cry as if an animal had died. For fuck’s sake, pull yourself together!” “Shut the hell up Supernova!” Evening screeched comically, rounding on her mate like an alpha wolf on a rebelling packmate. “Did you not hear that heartwarming speech our sweetheart of a son just gave to his friends?! Much less his fillyfriend?! I haven’t heard anything like that from anypony since your speech on our wedding day! There is no way in Selene’s name that I can keep myself from crying from something like that!” “I’m not saying you can’t and that you shouldn’t. I’m just implying that you shouldn’t get so worked up over something that simple.” Supernova said, rubbing at his eyes. “I mean geez, was it really that impactful that you’re crying like a toddler?” “Yes, it is! And it’s not like you have any room to talk either with those misty eyes of yours!” Evening replied, throwing her handkerchief to the ground. “Then again I don’t think anypony could handle themselves after hearing something so sweet! Fluttershy definitely wouldn’t! Had she been here to hear what Nocturnus said to her sister, she would’ve cried enough tears to fill a royal bath!” “Oh, I don’t doubt it.” Supernova murmured with a burst of guffawing. “The only reason I don't is that this is Fluttershy that we’re talking about. That mare can cry so much that she can create an entire pond with her tears alone. And given how easily emotional she gets, that’s not really saying something.” “Now that I think we can agree on.” Evening said, finally managing to dry her face. “Anyway, not that emotional or not, that was still a very sweet thing to say Nocturnus. Your sister would be so proud of you if she were here to say something like that.” “It wasn’t really anything that special really,” Nocturnus said bashfully. “I was just saying how I really felt. I could only really say all of that if I was completely honest and didn’t hold anything back. So, I was only doing what I intended to do from the beginning… and that was to speak from the heart.” “Well, ya certainly did a fine job doin’ that sugarcube.” Apple Bloom cooed. “That was probably the most honest thing Ah’ve ever heard in mah life. Ah’m sure you’d give Applejack a run fer her money if she heard somethin’ like that.” “Same with Fluttershy. She would’ve been hugging you like she does our pet Grizzly Bear Harry if she had heard say what you just did.” Scootaloo agreed, kissing Nocturnus’s nose softly. “She’d definitely take her time giving you all the love she always gives to me. I know I certainly am~.” “Me too. After a speech like that, there’s no way in Maleficent’s name I’m gonna just be satisfied with giving you a simple kiss~.” Sweetie said, a smirk forming on her face. “In that case, why don’t we take you all to our special party so you can do just that?” Supernova asked, making the crusaders turn to him. “From the looks on your faces, you girls look like you’re going to screw our son to the ground. Best to get there now before you cover each other in your love juices.” “Well then, lead the way to the secret party partner!” Apple Bloom said cheerfully, playfully slapping the older stallion’s rump. “Better git us here soon too! Because Ah’m ready t’ give Nocturnus here a ride more intense than any other Ah’ve ever given him before!” “We don’t doubt that, baby.” Evening chuckled, watching as her husband rubbed his rump. “Let’s get a move on then! The quicker we get there, the quicker we can give you pups all that we have planned for you!” “You got it, Evening Glory!” Sweetie squeaked, hopping alongside her fellow crusaders as the couple led them away from the empty Town Square. As they followed the couple away from the Town Square, a question made its way into the young filly’s mind. One that she decided to try asking in order to succeed with Nocturnus’s parents where she failed with Rarity. “By the way, just out of curiosity… what do you have in store for us in this orgy of yours? I’m really trying to spoil anything you guys have in this secret part of yours, but… what is it that you guys have planned?” “We would tell you…” Supernova replied, looking back at the filly with a mischievous glint in his eyes. “But we wouldn’t want to ruin the surprise.” At this Sweetie frowned, a frustrated groan as she fell to the ground anime style, doing so with the grace of a swan landing in a lake. Getting back up, she ground her teeth together and hissed, shooting a glare at a retreating bat pony duo and fledgling. ‘Maleficent’s spiraling horns!’
A Divine PickupAuthor's Note First off, I want to apologize to you guys for decided to get rid of this version of my fourth clopfic.
