School of Friendship, Graduation Day
Last Summer...

"Well, Ocellus, I have to say I'm very proud of you for completing your first two semesters at the top of your class, and so is the rest of the hive." Thorax congratulated his top international student as they sat in the castle dining room among the rest of the first year students. Stopping magic from being eradicated from this realm did wonders to boost one's grade point average, but the changeling was proud to say that she didn't even need that as help.

"Thanks, Thorax. I'm actually wondering if it'd be alright if I stay here over the summer. There are some summer electives I'd like to take, plus one that I'd need your expressed permission for." Ocellus replied.

"What sort of class?" Thorax asked, taking a bite of his cupcake as Ocellus began to rummage around in her saddlebag, coming up with the permission slip in question. He took it, and read it silently.

"Kinks and Fetishes 101? Why would they be offering an elective like this?" Thorax asked, puzzled.

Ocellus gulped nervously. This was no time to do the Element of Honesty a disservice.

"Actually, it's kind of our fault..." She admitted, looking down at the tablecloth.

"Who's fault?"

"Mine... Gallus'... Sandbar's... We've gotten close."

"How close?"

"Very."

Thorax set the piece of parchment down on the table, looking over at the young changeling, who was trying and failing to hold back a blush.

"Well, I honestly wasn't expecting to have this kind of conversation at your first year graduation celebration, but I do suppose that everyling matures at their own pace." Thorax said.

"Yeah, I... I'm honestly wondering how to go about it safely, because, well... The first time we tried something, we accidentally involved the entire dormitory... And part of the castle."

Thorax's eyes widened in surprise.

"...How?" He asked incredulously, but keeping his voice down.

"Well, when I... You know... I involuntarily released a magical shockwave, carrying everything I had been holding in."

Thorax rubbed his forehead with the tips his hooves.

"They must be lenient indeed if I never got wind of this." Thorax commented.

"Well, for the record, I did get in trouble, but we cleaned everything up; me and the five that were participating... And watching..."

Now Thorax was attempting to fight back a blush, as Ocellus continued.

"But obviously Counselor Trixie wants us to continue to explore and experiment with each other safely. But, you know, going out into the middle of the forest isn't the most convenient when you've only got an hour or so. Plus there's the wildlife to consider. So I guess what I'm asking is... If there's some way to stop that from happening?"

"Ocellus, if your parents found out about this..."

"But you just said everyling matures at their own pace. I can tell you right now that I'm ready. If there's a way to get that close to other creatures without involving anyone unwilling, I'd like to know how. Please."

The changeling ruler gave an exasperated sigh, realizing that Ocellus had talked him into a corner.

"Where's the school dormitory, can you show me?" He asked, finishing off his cupcake.

Ocellus nodded and immediately got to her hooves, leading Thorax out of the dining room and castle, and over to the School of Friendship, taking him through the main hall, out to the courtyard, and into the dorm halls.

"So when did this all start?" Thorax asked as they walked through the various dorm rooms, some doors closed, others open, some in their rooms packing to go home for the summer.

"A few weeks ago. Sandbar asked Gallus out, and they started dating. It was the first time I ever felt that kind of energy, that kind of love." The changeling student explained.

"Well, I was wondering if and when you'd start to encounter energy like that here, and not only sustain yourself on it, but also create it yourself. This is the School of Friendship after all, and sometimes friendships go to the next level." Thorax responded.

Ocellus' room was the last on the right, directly across from Gallus and Sandbar's room. She opened the door, and took Thorax into the single-occupant dormitory.

The room was immaculately kept and organized, with a bed, desk, small closet, and bathroom.

"So you stay in here alone?" Thorax asked, and Ocellus nodded.

"Alright, that's for the best, because you're most likely going to need practice venting."

"Venting?"

"If you want to avoid a magical shockwave like last time, then the most simple way I can put it, is you need to release it in smaller amounts. You have to let it out at the same pace or faster than you feel it building up inside you. Most changelings call it venting. With a little practice, and enough focus and concentration, you can even pass it onto, well, whoever you're having fun with."

Ocellus realized that Thorax probably had a point. Their first night together, she likely wasn't just feeding off of Sandbar and Gallus as they gave her the first rutting, and best time of her life, but Silverstream, Yona, and Smolder as they looked on, too.

"But, then where's the fun in it for me? How will I... You know?" Ocellus asked, twiddling her front hooves to avoid saying the words on her mind.

"Remember, Ocellus, you're a changeling. Love, both emotional and physical, takes on an entirely different meaning for us than it might with other species. You'll feel it build up to levels containable within a room when those you're with also build up, likely achieving sexual release together. Like I said, it takes practice. And I'd highly recommend practicing alone, until you've got the hang of it. Then you can have fun with close friends again without involving the entire student body. But please be careful. Mating season is coming up in the fall, and if you have to come home with fertilized eggs, your parents would never let me hear the end of it, and likely not let you come back."

Ocellus blushed, then smiled up at the changeling ruler.

"Thanks, Thorax. I'll be careful, I promise."
