In her quest to escape her past, Eleanor finds herself in a quiet suburban town with a place to call her own. Once she arrives, it quickly becomes clear that this place too will test her sanity.

A short story heavily inspired by the works of Viricide Filly. In fact, it might as well be fanfiction of those albums. This story has essentially been a response to the very complicated feelings that came out of her music.

This story is an excerpt from my upcoming novel, Eleanor is Alone. I wasn’t planning on turning it into a full novel originally, but here we are at the end, and I still have a boatload of material to write.
