Rarity's Hefty Displacement
It was another glorious day in the town of Ponyville. Barely a cloud in the sky, allowing the summer sun to warm to the town to a pleasant temperature. Most ponies were out, basking in the rays, going about their daily life. Store owners haggled in the market, fillies and colts ran around playing and Pegasi drifted lazily through the sky. However, not everypony was out enjoying themselves. In the confines of her store, one unicorn mare was busing herself with a project. And by a project, it was a wonderful dress. Made from the finest cloth in the land, an elegant piece of apparel was being crafted. Crimson red, it had a long flowing length that reached down to the client’s ankles. The top was designed to accentuate the mare’s bosom, without making it look too tacky. Adjusting a few stitches, she stepped back for a moment.
“Phew… almost there. Just a few highlights here and there and everything should be golden!” The mare went by the name of Rarity. A young adult, but already finding major success with her business, now spread across 3 major towns and cities across Equestria. Said success had brought her ever more attention from high profile clients across the country, and even abroad, such as the case with the latest masterpiece she was crafting. “Just imagine, making a piece for diplomat Amira! When she shows it off to all the higher ups in Saddle Arabia, I’ll be getting even more orders!”
Adjusting her working glasses, she inspected several seams and stitches, combing it over for even one fault. But no, just like the last 3 times she had gazed at it inquisitively, not one fault had appeared. Not one buckled piece of fabric, not one loose knot. From the fine material, to the professional stitching, to the genuine rubies sewn onto it. She allowed a small ounce of pride to well up in her. She was so distracted, she almost failed to notice the knocking at the door. With a small burst of her blue magic, the door swung open. “Come in!”
The only sound that came back to her was the creaking of a rusted wheel as it bounced up the lip of the door. “Rarity! Look what I got for you!” Floated a sing-songy voice. Glancing up from her work, she watched as the form of a small dragon plodded his way into the boutique. Closing the door behind him, he continued to push a large wheelbarrow into the centre of the room. Straightening herself up, she walked over, a small swish in her hips as she did.
“Ooh, my dear Spikey Wikey, I was just about to run out of gems, your timing is impeccable.” She placed a hand on his head, giving it an affectionate rub, causing the drake to close his eyes in content.
“Anything for you Rarity…” He numbly said, allowing the taller mare to rummage through the treasure trove of minerals. It was the usual sort found outside Ponyville. A mixture of Rubies, Tormaline, Azurite and Topaz, among some other, less common ones. However, what caught the alabaster mare’s eye the most was the large crystal, buried right under all the others. Grasping it in her thin, dainty hands, she struggled to lift it up.
“What in Celestia’s name is this?” she mused, slowly turning it over in her hands. It was quite large, at least the size of a grapefruit. It was primarily dark purple, almost like that of wine. What was even more odd was what appeared to be a spiral of green snaking down the central axis of the mineral. Peering into it, she could swear that small sparks of energy were dancing inside of it. “Wherever did you get this?”.
“I, err, just dug it with the rest of the haul. Is there a problem?” Spike cautioned, a slight note of panic present in his voice. The mare shook her head, causing her well-groomed hair to bounce around.
“Oh no, nothing’s wrong with it darling. It’s simply curious that’s all, I’ve never seen anything like this in my life.” Giving it one last gaze, she picked it up in her magic, ready to place it on the nearby shelf. Placing it down, she tried to release her aura, but found she couldn’t. Glancing over to it, her eyes widened as she saw it trembling, the odd green spiral seemed to be emerging from the top, mingling with her arcane energy. Her horn twitched as the vile form seemed to pollute her magic, tainting it the same slimy green. Straining, she tried to sever the connection, only for nothing to happen, as a growing hum filled the room. Soon, her vision began to spin, eyes fixed upon the accursed the object.
The hum grew to a roar, stopping her from hearing the distraught cries of the drake. Soon all her senses became numb, even with Spikes sharp claw shaking at her arm, nearly drawing blood from how tightly he shook her. Everything grew dark, and suddenly the sensation of being stretched like an elastic band. The room seemed to fold around her, spinning as it shifted promptly out of reality. For those brief moments, she through she was going to die, before her mind eventually fell into unconsciousness, too overwhelmed by the feeling.
Groaning after what felt like an eternity, she attempted to open her eyes, squinting even in the low light. She met the purple carpeted floor of her shop, lit slightly by what she assumed to be the early morning sun. Pushing her arm under herself, Rarity rose unsteadily to her feet. Subconsciously wiping a speck of non-existent dirt away. Of course, even after laying on the floor, she was near spotless. Her elegant, yet functional purple and blue dress hung from her thin, healthy body. “What in the world happened?” glancing around the room, her expert eyes picked up on a few… oddities.
It seemed like her door was at least twice as wide as it normally was, the mirror too. Flashing her gaze over to the dress, she nearly had a heart attack. “But…What…How…” She sputtered out, horrified at the sight. Somehow, it looked like it had been stretched out at to a size Rarity didn’t dare think about. XXXXL maybe, it was certainly designed for a whale, much less a thin and elegant Saddle Arabian.
Looking around, she spotted the accursed gem, partially covered by a bolt of mauve fabric. Wordlessly, she picked it up. It still had that intensely dark purple colour, though she noticed one thing. The green spiral was gone. Turning it over revealed the blank, though still beautiful crystal. With a heavy sigh, she placed it down on the shelf. Stress mounted as she looked at the setback to her work. She was just on schedule to deliver it. Now? She could only speculate how long it would take to fix the mistake, how many hours to bring it back down to size. Her mind’s eye pictured the loss of clients, refusing to buy from her due to her lack of promptness. She would be mocked from Los Pegasus to Manehatten and beyond.
Trying to calm herself, she felt tears gather regardless, sniffling as she did so. She tried to rationalise what had happened. Whilst the gem was a likely candidate for the odd happenstance, deep down this felt like a prank, something elaborate a certain prismatic Pegasus would do. A firm knock at the door brought her out of her pondering and moping, eyes snapping up. Wiping her eyes with a free hand, she grasped the handle with the other. “Hello… I’m afraid you’ve caught me at a bad time, you see I…” She stopped, puzzled by the figure standing in front of her.
Dropping her arm to her hip, she stared at what could only be described as a walking pile of flab. A monument to obesity incarnate. A poofy cotton candy like mane sprouted on the top of her head, a head crowded with a multitude of chins stacked on top of each other, sagging into a burgeoning neck roll. A pair of immense breasts were contained within an overstretched, partially stained t-shirt, acting more like a makeshift bra for them. The sleeves were rolled up as much as possible, allowing lardy bingo wings to droop down, covering her elbows. Below this, her blobby belly was revealed. Two thick rolls jutted out, reaching lower than the mare’s knees. If she had to guess, Rarity thought it was as large as a beanbag chair and much, much heavier. She caught sight of the pony’s navel, which was deep in the centre of the rolls.
Jutting out from her sides, thick love handles blossomed, sagging onto the colossal jean shorts, that just about wrapped around her titanic thighs and plot. Even so, she could see numerous tears and rips dotting it, offering the alabaster mare views of her blue and yellow striped panties underneath. Supporting her colossal ass, a pair of tree trunk like legs splayed out wide, due to the sheer size of them forcing them to spread out. These lead down to a set of overstretched socks, pulled up as much as possible over her calves and lower legs. This was of course futile, as pudge muffin-topped over the torn, fraying ends.
“Heya Rarity! Are you doing alright, you looked all mopey and stuff?” Yep, that mare, filling the extra wide doorway, was indeed Pinkie Pie. From her baby blue eyes, to the stretched balloon cutie mark on her top, to her bubbly attitude. Sure, Pinkie was a little chubby, her numerous binges inevitably sticking to her figure. However, she couldn’t quite accept the amount of party mare facing her.
“I’m not sure anymore, I think I may be losing my mind.” Pinkie’s face scrunched up slightly at her words.
“Whada ya mean? You’re still the same old thin, underfed Rarity you always are.”
“Underfed? I’m a perfectly proportioned mare thank you. Besides, you don’t exactly have a leg to stand on, what with your ballooning proportions.” Pinkies confusion grew deeper, a small hint of concern entering the wide, expressive face.
“Wowee, you really must be under the weather today. Still trying to stay thin and prim huh? Oh, and I do have a leg to stand on. Two of them actually!” She exclaimed, letting her hands slap against those column-like appendages.
“Yes, I suppose so…” She trailed off, not sure how to continue. “Did you want anything from me darling?” Rarity tried to steer the conversation back to normality. Pinkie’s concern seemed to evaporate in an instant, a bright smile blooming.
“Yepperoonie! I mentioned it yesterday, but I reallllly need to let my wardrobe out a bit, plus, I need to pick up my costume I ordered the other day.” Thinking back to the mess that was yesterday, she did recall bumping into Pinkie, who did mention about getting some new clothes. She was still utterly convinced that somepony was messing with her.
“Sure, come in Pinkie dear. I’m sure I can find time before I start to fix Amira’s dress.” Turning around, she meandered back in, trotting over to the podium. Twisting back, she caught sight of an odd spectacle. Watching the cotton candy coloured mare waddle over was an incredibly involved process. Instead of a simple walk, Rarity watched as over nourished lard swayed and slid over other clumps of blubber. She could even hear small plaps and smacks as hundreds of pounds of mare slapped into one another as the monument of obesity waddled forth. A good few seconds passed before she was able to make it over to the raised platform, which was slightly lower than Rarity remembered.
“What…do you mean fix? It looks prefect to me! You got the right size and everything!” Rarity shook her head in surprise, not quite understanding her logic.
“I beg your pardon. The ambassador is most certainly not that big. She has a well-proportioned figure, maybe, but she is not fat!”
“Is too! Just look at this.” Reaching a pudgy hand into her cleavage, she dug around, until she pulled out a rolled-up picture. It was from the Equestria Games, showing a very, very well-rounded mare, with her face deep in a bucket of popcorn. “See, obese and pretty, just the sort of mare to fit into a dress like that!”
Opening her mouth to argue, she instead decided to close it. Whatever that gem had done, was really messing up her world view. “Ehem…so, how about some measurements?” Pinkie responded with a rapid nod, causing her jowls to squish and undulate as she did. Quickly, well, as quick as a morbidly obese mare can, she disrobed. Hefting her T-shirt off took some jostling and straining as the ill-fitting garment refused to budge. The sleeves, however, tore with a resounding rip, allowing more of her ham like bingo wings to ooze out. Rarity was half expecting her to be nude under there. Fortunately, there was a massive bra hooked over those mega boobies. It had the same blue and yellow striped pattern as her panties, and despite how big the cups were, they still looked to be strained to the limit. She noted several folds under her arms, cascading down like a waterfall.
Moving down, undulating and shaking her hips and plot allowed the jean shorts to also flop to the ground with a small thump. Holding back a gasp, the alabaster mare saw her cutie mark. It was the same three balloons, except each one was nearly the size of Rarity’s head. The folds and creased the wide masses of ass flab, partially deforming the symbol. A second later, she had removed her shoes and socks. Now fully exposed, Rarity really got to have a good look at the sheer girth of her friend. What she also noticed was a rather ripe smell. “Not to sound rude, but did you shower this morning?”
“Of course I did silly, it’s just that…”she was cut off as a low grumble emanated from the mares titanic gut. FFRRRPPPPBBBTTT!!! A loud burst of flatulence rumbled out of her cavernous ass crack. In an instant, the fashionista was hit by a wave of unwelcomed fragrance, smelling like half-digested cake.
“Sweet…cough…Celestia…caff…what was that for…wheeze?” She nearly doubled over, trying to catch her breath. She couldn’t believe how loud and how powerful that was, especially from a mare.
“Hehe…whoops. Gotta stop having midnight snacks of the all old, unsold cakes.” A smaller toot pushed it’s way out, causing the pink badonkadonk to wobble like a raspberry jelly. “But then again, they taste sooooo good, and nopony usually complains anyway!”
Wafting her hand around, as well as opening a window with burst of magic, she squared up. As much as the poot repulsed her, she had a job to do. Closing her eyes, she levitated her tools around her, a slight huff of annoyance as she realised her tape measure was significantly longer than usual, making it slightly harder to manipulate. Like a choreographed dance, she measured each part of the blobby mare, the cool plastic of the tape causing Pinkie to giggle and jiggle as it was squeezed and wrapped around her form. Wrapping it around her belly drew a low belch out of her, the same cake-like smell polluting the room.
Scribbling down the last few measurements, she glanced back at her notes, horrified at how large she had gotten. Her waist size alone made her feel dizzy, as did her bust and butt size too. “It’ll take a few days to get these made. You have enough clothes to, ahem, last you till then?”
“Yeppers! Besides, ripped clothing is super in fashion now, so a couple more rips couldn’t…BUUURRPP…hurt anypony.”
“Well, except your waistline...” Rarity muttered, as she disappeared around to a small storage cupboard. Reaching in, she found a metal hanger holding up a wide package, wrapped in brown paper. Pulling it off, she winced at how heavy it was. She knew what was inside here, but she was rather unprepared for the reality of having it be many times the size. “Well here we are my dear. Let us try this on, shall we?”
Slowly, she unfurled the wrappings, revealing the artfully crafted piece. A white jumpsuit, with pink arrows emblazoned across the spandex outfit. “There you go. A faithfully recreated rendition of the Fili-Second uniform!”
Pinkie was practically vibrating in place, causing small waves of flab to rock her nearly naked form. “Oh my gosh, I love it! It looks soooo good! Oh, and it’s not Fili-Second silly, it’s Flabby-Second.”
“Yes, of course it is…” Another weird correction by her. Having a quick double take, she glanced to the costume, still jumbo sized. Not only was her dress altered, but Pinkie’s hidden costume as well. There was no way somepony could have entered the house, found some hidden parcel and just replaced it with a massive version of itself. The oddities continued to pile on, and Rarity was getting the feeling this sudden alteration went a bit further than a simple prank. “Right, do you want some help putting it on, or…”
“BRRRPPPTT…Please!” What followed was a couple of minutes of stretching, squeezing and forcing as the costume was stretched onto her body. Rarity was forced to go up close and personal with the mammoth mare, grabbing at her plush figure to force it into the spandex. Placing her hands onto the mare’s belly, Rarity couldn’t help but let out a small blush. She marvelled at how soft and pliable it was, but with a distinct heaviness to it. Grunting, she struggled to pull it up, using one arm for the costume and one to push Pinkies belly in. Eagerly, her hand was devoured by the blubber, sinking in as flab oozed though the gaps in her fingers. Despite how much extra fabric there was to work with, it still fell like there was much too little to cover her titanic figure. The closeness allowed the mare to look at the devastation of Pinkies figure. Her butt was pockmarked with cellulite dimples, as were a lot of her largest folds. Clearly the rapid movements were tiring Pinkie out, as her body started to glisten with sweat.
With one last straining of her arms, Rarity hefted the last section over the top of Pinkies head, allowing her ears and mane to spring out of the gaps. “There you go. What do you think dear?” Rarity questioned. Immediately, the costumed mare struck what looked to be a dynamic pose, only to make her form pathetically undulate, even in the tight rubber. Despite the whole body covering the ensemble provided, it left little up to the imagination. If anything, it seemed to accentuate each juicy roll, every love handle and pocket of fat possible. The elasticity allowed it to grab every flab fold and much of the material was somewhat trapped and tucked into her folds. Her plot seemed to have developed a wedgie, her butt crack devouring the material wholesale. Creaks and groans of overstrained fabric rang out every time she made an exaggerated pose, threatening to rip at any moment. Fortunately, it seemed to hold.
“I love it! You really outdid yourself this time Rarity.” She stuck her derriere out, looking over her shoulder at the mirror, whilst giving herself small smacks on her wide behind. “Wowee, I look super duper sexy! I bet this’ll turn a few heads at the convention!” She continued to fondle her ass, adjusting the angle each time to give herself a better look. “Say Rarity, does this outfit make my butt look big?”
“Well…erm...it…ah…”
“Psshh, that’s a silly question. Of course, it makes my cutie tooty patootie look massive!” As if to cement these words, yet another burst of flatulence burst out, jiggling those medicine ball like cheeks. She could swear she saw the fabric briefly inflate as she did. About to complain about the lack of decorum, Rarity was cut off by yet another gurgle. Glancing down, her own body let out a voracious grumble. Blushing, she looked back over to Pinkie, who was now giving her a knowing look.
“Looks like you need something to fill that skinny tummy of yours, and I know just the place.”
After managing to peel the suit off Pinkie, forcing her back into her older, ill-fitting clothes, Pinkie led her out of the boutique. Now outside, Rarity could see the full extent that the gem had had upon the town. Mares and Stallions were in various stages of obesity, waddling and shuffling around town as they started their day. Aside from the multitude of clinically obese ponies, she noticed subtle and unsubtle changes to Ponyville. From the widened doorways, to the sudden appearance of more food-based shops across town. Because of this, the air was thick with a myriad of culinary based scents as they wafted from open windows and wedged open doors.
What was also apparent was the sheer level of unapologetic gluttony in all the residents. Despite it being still morning, everypony had their sausage-like fingers wrapped around takeout bags stained in a distinctly unhealthy amount of grease. The most prominently displayed company was that of Hayburger, which seemed plastered on packages and packets as far as the eye could see. She watched as Zecora sat heavily upon a steel reinforced bench, stuffing a burger dripping in sauce and grease into her wide mouth, gulping down the calorie bomb into her black and white striped gut. A resounding belch rang out, as her simple brown top neatly tore in two, as she sprayed the remains with a mixture of drool and grease.
Glancing up, she caught sight of a large billboard, sitting above a well-kept flower bed. She goggled at what she saw. Juxtaposed next to the dainty blooms, a scantily clad Fleur de Lis dressed in a pizza themed bikini was busy gorging herself on Domareno’s Pizza, her mouth covered in strings of gooey cheese. Like everypony else, she was staggeringly overweight, basking in her unashamed slobbishness. It read “Fresh new deals, 10% off weekend purchases.” In a bubble next to Fleur it continued. “Domareno’s really packs on the pudge!”.
Another thing she cottoned onto was the amount of looks she was getting. Rather than being looks of envy or disgust, she only saw sympathy cross their overblown faces, before getting distracted by the immense snack in their hands. Despite her weight, Pinkie still had the same pronking, boundless energy that she normally channelled. Although it was rather lewder, as each skip-bounce caused her colossal cleavage to spring up and down like a pendulum, never mind the rest of her figure that rocked like a stormy rose-coloured ocean. Rarity was worried that her ass or breasts would suddenly pop out, though judging by the lack of response to Zecora’s own wardrobe malfunction, she doubted anypony would care.
Turning the corner was Sugarcube Corner. It seemed to be several times as large as she remembered it, multiple other spires of food themed architecture stretching upwards and outwards. Even so, a large line snaked its way out the front. “Don’t worry, let’s go around the back.” Grabbing her with a pudgy hand, she guided her around the obese masses, and through a back entrance. Following behind her, the fashion mare was led into a sitting room. “Here, sit on one of these super-duper plush sofas while I grab ya something!” With that, she darted around the corner, surprising fast for such a massive specimen. Shrugging, she crossed over to one of them. She was floored by how utterly wide it was, taking up a good portion of the wall with its bulk.
She took note of the large divots embedded in the fabric, before she carefully lowered herself down. It was certainly plush, with a small level of firmness behind it. Before she could fully appreciate how comfortable it was, she felt small tremors as the party pony came back, hip bumping the door closed. “Here yah go, Sugarcube Corners signature pancakes with genuine Caneighdian syrup.” She placed down the stack next to the dainty mare. It was positively groaning with food. A giant stack of fluffy disks shone from a deluge of amber coloured syrup.
A knife and fork were pressed into Rarities hands by an excited Pinkie. Shrugging, she cut a small chunk out, popping it into her mouth. Instantly, she was hit by a burst of indescribable flavour, causing her to let out a slight moan.
“Good eh?” Pinkie giggled, giving her a knowing look.
“My stars, I’ve never had something so wonderfully tasting as that…” Cutting another slice, she passed it over her lips, chewing and swallowing. However, as she continued to demolish one of the wonderful slabs of calorie laden waffles, she seemed to start shoving them in with a level of almost urgency. Manners seemed to degrade, only replaced by a dull, primal want to consume. Butt perfectly fitting the divots, Pinkie watched in delight as the thin mare’s belly started to swell outwards, working her way through her own obscene quantity of pancakes. Barely noticeable at first, she watched as the cloth strained against her figure, cloth which was starting to be stained as droplets of syrup and crumbs splattered against it.
The two mares eating styles were rather different. Whilst Rarity continued to use cutlery, Pinkie was simply grabbing them in her flabby hand, cramming them into her food spattered mouth. Despite the fashionistas wanting to consume, her own bodily limitations prevented her from eating anymore, as her tiny stomach was packed to the max after only one and a half of the heavenly treats. Satisfied, she fell back, rubbing the swollen mound of her gut. “Ooof…I think I…UURRPP!! Oh, dear me!” She exclaimed, hastily covering her mouth, a small blush alighting her cheeks as she did. She couldn’t believe that she had made such a disgusting faux pas, in front of a friend too.
“Wowee, that was really big one for somepony as small as you Rarity! But that was still pretty…BOOOOUUURRPPPP…small!!!!” Pinkie grinned back, patting her own exposed gut, leaving a sticky handprint behind. “I don’t want you to keep pressuring yourself to be skinny. Just kick back and let yourself go already…”
In her post binge mind, Pinkie made some inkling of sense. Afterall, it seemed everypony else was positively obese and enjoying themselves in this warped land. From modelling superstars to the average joe, nopony was spared from the intoxicating grip of food. A small, naughty though wormed its way up. What if she let go, and just ate, ate and ate some more? What if she pushed aside any thought of a diet and filled the void with juicy lard? Hand pressing against the food baby she had developed; she sank further into the plush material. “I may just do that Pinkie, just, let me digest this first…”
A few weeks had passed since Rarity had popped into this new reality, or whatever this place was. The mare still wasn’t too sure on the specifics of what had transpired that fateful day. Afterall, the sciencey magic mumbo jumbo stuff was Twilight’s field, not hers. Investigating the world around her, she tried to confirm if there were any other differences. From her basic research, she found that there was some sort of divergence from her old universe occurring after the fall of Nightmare Moon.
Following Luna’s banishment, Celestia had fallen into a depression. Moping around, she watched as the kingdom fell into despair, which made her feel even more guilty over her scenario. To try and curb her sadness, she turned to food. In food she found solace and comfort. Mountains of the best cakes in the land were consumed liberally, as lay on her bed, not realising how flabby her body was getting. Eventually, she built up enough confidence to once again stride out and lead the nation. Initially ponies were somewhat bemused by their rulers now expanded figure, but quickly grew to accept it. Desperate to rebuild from the destruction wrought by the Nightmare, Celestia put her full efforts to restore order and build up infrastructure. This led to ponies admiring her more and more, the point they wanted to emulate her more opulent lifestyle. Food demand grew, leading to the expansion of farms nationwide. Apparently, the Apples were given their land to supply an ever growing populous. Ponyville itself had originally been designated as a farming town due to it’s fertile land and wide open fields.
As such, Rarity had discovered that obesity and letting go of one’s self was the ultimate luxury in this strange land. Such luxury that she had been indulging herself in. She discovered very quickly that food was incredibly cheap, so it was never much of a problem to spend a bit here and there on a slice of cake, with chocolate oozing from its moist, delicious exterior. Or how about just stopping by one of the 4 Hayburgers dotted around town and picking up a bargain meal for just 2 bits? Or popping down to the Applejacks farm store and buying an apple pie larger than her head for the same price?
Of course, such rampant gluttony had had some rather interesting effects upon her body. Namely, that her body seemed to process the calorie dense meals straight into wobbling, jiggling lard, which accumulated all over her now expansive anatomy. Her once thin figure had been obliterated, and replaced with around a hundred extra pounds, clinging to her form. Her stick thin belly had developed a significant spare tire, sagging onto her thighs. A pair of love handles had blossomed on her side, ringing around to her newly formed back flab. Her butt had taken a good portion of her gain, stretching her cutie mark out about an inch as they moulded around her compounding curves. Her thighs had also seen an accumulation of weight, leading down to her widening lower legs.
The fashionista had additionally fleshed out her arms, her upper arms rounding out, just like her face. The ghost of a double chin was starting to form, which would jostle slightly whenever her mouth was in motion, which it usually was nowadays with her increased snacking. In addition to the increase in size, it had also led to the upgrading of her own wardrobe. Most of her old apparel was simply too small to even consider using, given that she couldn’t even get them around her waist or hips without popping a stitch or ten. Heck, she was struggling to even get past her own ballooning breasts, requiring a new adjustable bra that already was getting uncomfortably tight.
Despite the rapid changes, she seemed to take it in her stride, just slotting into the new local trends without too much of a fuss. Well, not much of a fuss after the first week, after she had finished lamenting over her loss of several award-winning outfits, her grieving helped along by a few tubs of triple chocolate ice cream. But now, she was making her way out for a get together with one of her friends. After meeting with the rest of the gang over the weeks, she had been offered an invite by Fluttershy to join her at the local Spa. Casting her mind back to the myriad of sessions she and the shy mare had shared before the ‘event’ brought a smile to her lips.
But now, she was waiting in the foyer of the establishment, the modern looking clock quietly ticking away. By her feet, a small bag, holding a brand-new swimsuit sat propped against the chair leg. Idly, she flicked through several magazines to pass the time. They were rather interesting reads, more so from the perspective of comparing them to their equivalents back home. Instead of tabloids talking about a minor celebrity who had been spotted with a couple extra pounds, it was instead about slightly more mundane and even useful ideas. It was rather hard to create gossip about embarrassing ponies when most of the population openly enjoyed exhibitionism and public acts of unrestrained gluttony with a disregard for manners.
There was a tinkling of a bell, and Fluttershy waddled in, holding a small bag of her own. Like the rest of the population, she was incredibly bulky compared to her petite, frail form Rarity was used to. She was slightly smaller than Pinkie was, with more of her weight accumulating in her wobbling flanks. Even with the extra wide doorways, Rarity blushed slightly as that medicine ball like booty caressed the edges.
“Fluttershy, I’m glad you’re here! I thought you weren’t going to turn up at one point.” This prompted the butter coloured pony to blush deeply, rubbing her arm.
“Oh, I’m sorry, I just…BOOUURRPPP…had to grab a quick snack from Basilo’s Burrito’s. That Marexican cooking is too good to pass up.” She quietly squeaked out, wiping a fleck of brown-red sauce from her cheeks and popping it into her mouth.
“That’s quite alright dear, I believe our session is…” She was cut off as a set of double doors banged open, letting Aloe and Lotus squeeze through. For some reason, they had decided that entering side by side, rather than in an orderly line was a much better idea. Their sides squashed together, white uniforms hugging their rolls tightly, creating a wall of flab. With a few grunts, they pushed and pulled their way through, approaching their customers.
“Ah, you both here, yes? Good good, we have everything set up for you two.” Aloe said in her curious, yet delightful accent. Beaconing with their hands, they guided the pair through the doors and into an expansive corridor. Rarity took a deep breath, the smokey burning of a nearby incense burner filling her nostrils with the pleasant smell of pine needles. Whilst the near constant aroma of greasy, delicious food was growing on her, she enjoyed the change nonetheless. “So, we have a small selection of activities lined up for you wonderful mares, first a dip in our pools will bring you much pleasure. Afterall, a full stomach makes for a happy pony.”
A look of confusion knotted the alabaster mares’ eyebrows, as the twins pushed open another door, made of glossy dark wood. Instantly, the smell of something sweet flooded the hall. Following in after the twins, the friends entered a wide room. The walls and flooring were tiled with deep blue and purple bricks, blending into a wave like shape. A few loungers and massage tables were positioned in one corner of the room, facing out towards the real spectacle.
A set of steps led to a huge pool like basin, filled with a bubbling, brown liquid. “Here you are. Our special relaxation station. Complete with our sweet dips pool, filled with creamy, smooth melted chocolate.” Lotus gestured with a wave of her arm.
“My stars, it looks delightful!” Rarity cooed, peering into the glossy surface. Fluttershy gave a small mumble of confirmation.
“Wonderful. Well, we’ll just leave you two alone for now. We’ll be back in a while to give you your deep blubber massage. Changing room is in the corner over there. But for now, enjoy!” Closing the door with a small thud, the two friends were left alone.
“Well, this is certainly a unique experience isn’t Fluttershy darling?” Glancing around, she spotted the aforementioned changing rooms offset to the side. Striding over, she locked herself in, disrobing as quickly as her fattened body would allow. A few moments later, a light bang of a door and a large shadow below the stall indicated her partner had entered as well. Grunting, she managed to pull on the bikini top and bottoms, both a cool blue that matched her eye colour, wincing slightly as she rechecked the labelling for their sizes. Stepping out, she made her way over to the steps, descending to the surface of the sugary gloop. Putting a foot in, Rarity felt the warm substance flow over her skin. It was a peculiar feeling, as it had a heaviness and stickyness that made it distinct from water.
Feeling around with her legs through the opaque liquid, she submerged herself deeper and deeper, feeling it lap around her thighs, then belly, then breasts as she sat down on a small step, allowing her flesh to jiggle around under the surface. Closing her eyes, she let out a deep sigh. After all the stress and changes happening so fast, she really deserved a break.
A couple of moments later, she heard the other stall door creaking open. The sound of heavy padded footsteps slapped on the cool tiles as the yellow mare made her way over. Rarity was suddenly splashed in the face as a wave of warm cocoa goodness came barrelling into her. A small cry of panic was cut off as a mouthful of chocolate filled her gob, which she gulped down.
“S…sorry Rarity” the Pegasus mumbled. Blinking, Rarity could really see how obese the mare had gotten. Her wings seemed to be partially covered, as a slab of back flab oozed onto her scapulars, blanketing the ill-used appendages. Virtually every Pegasi she had seen were grounded, for the obvious reasons that a 500+ pound pony lacks the strength to fly to any capacity. The mare’s bikini straps sank into abundant slabs of back and side rolls, obscuring them from view. This was mirrored by her bottoms, which were rendered virtually invisible, due to the duel efforts of her plot and belly. They already did a decent job at hiding any nudity, from the sheer amount of flab sagging down over her privates. Sitting next to the fashionista, Rarity could feel their plots squishing together, with Fluttershy's more massive pair swelling and enveloping around hers.
“Now, I, er…suppose I can tell you why I invited you here.” Fluttershy said, tapping her fingers together. Rarity was a little surprised by the question, her eyebrow raising in response.
“What do you mean by that dear?”
“Well, me and the girls were just talking about how…odd you’ve been as of late. You’ve normally been so adamant over staying thin, now suddenly you’re just wolfing down all sorts of delicious treats. Not to mention what Pinkie said about you when she picked up her costume…sorrydon’tgetmadatme…” she stammered out at the end, eyes dropping, as she fiddled with something behind her. A dull plastic thud was heard against the tiles.
She closed her eyes, letting out a small breath as she braced herself. “Well, I suppose this would come out eventually but, UUULLPPP!!” she let out a loud squeak, eyes flying open as the yellow mare pressed a funnel into her mouth from a small shelf on the poolside, grabbing a jug in her other.
“Shhhhh… just let me talk care of you and help grow that wonderful, marshmallowy body out…” she breathed out, filling the jug up with the creamy liquid, dumping it into the spout. Rarity nearly choked from a sudden deluge of liquid but managed to swallow it down. “If you wanted to put on weight, you should have asked us for help! Afterall, what are friends for…”
“Ulp…gulp...ulp…ulllp...gulp” she began to fall into a rhythm, focusing on the delectable taste of the milk chocolate. She could feel her gut swell out, causing her the soft layer to progressively harden. Finishing the jug, the butter coloured mare filled it up with a swift movement that jiggled her arm fat, waiting for Rarity to catch her breath. “Huff...could you just…BUURROOPPP!!!...pardon me.” She suddenly felt sausage like fingers press to her lips, followed by a quiet shush.
“No apologies. You don’t have to be pardoned for enjoying a meal. Just let yourself go and be as piggish as you want, like everypony else is...”
“Oink oink!” She responded, letting out a muffled giggle at the end. Fluttershy responded with her own light titter, bringing the jug back up to the funnel. A downpour of liquid ambrosia continued to fill the chocolate coated mare up. She still wasn’t sure how much her friends had figured out about her, but whatever it was, couldn’t be all that bad. Reaching out a hand, she gave the thick belly rolls of her friend a squeeze. A small meep came out the yellow mare’s mouth as she did, chocolate spattered cheeks lighting up as Rarity felt the pliant flesh squish like memory foam around her digits.
This was followed up as her other hand patted that massive pair of flanks, hundreds of pounds of lard rippling with each firm tap. Fluttershy made small moans as she did so, causing her pouring to become somewhat erratic from the increased touching. Letting the last of it drip into the spout, Fluttershy plunged it down for another filling, resting her other hand on Rarity’s taught gut before giving it a gentle rub and put, drawing a rolling belch out of Rarity, causing her mane to jostle slightly in the gust.
“N…now you stop that…touching. That’s if…you want to of course…my flab is oh so soft after all…” She teased, allowing the grabby mits to wander over her form, greedily fondling and groping that succulent, juicy blubber. Rarity could only imagine what it would be like to be that big, to be covered in swaths of cushioning pudge, to just eat all day and not get even the slightest bit full, to have her soft sensitive body touched in the same way. Reaching up, she gave the sloshing pair of boobs a small squeeze, feeling the fat and milk filled fun bags compress to her touch. Another, longer and lustful moan rose from the yellow mare’s throat, as she started her own teasing and touching up of Rarity’s smaller form.
Surrounded by a pool of fattening, heavenly chocolate, the two hugged each other, the sweet liquid splashing against each other as they caressed one another. Several months had passed since her chance encounter at the Spa. The months had flown by in a flurry of empty calories, torn clothes and ever-increasing poundage. This wasn’t helped by her friends, who were actively encouraging her to delve to ever more obscene levels of gluttony and pure piggishness. Between a flurry of Applejack’s delectable apple goods, Pinkie’s astounding bakery, Rainbow's constant need for a training partner for eating competitions, she was never without some morsel to stuff into her swelling gut.
Currently, she was making her way to the local Hayburger to meet for lunch with Twilight. Waddling her immense frame down Ponyville high street, she finally felt like she fit in with everypony else. True, she was still a bit thinner than the average pony, but she no longer stood out like a sore thumb. Ponies that remembered how slim she was would give her compliments, telling her how beautiful her curves were and jealous they were that she could pack on the pounds so fast. That was another thing which confused her a little. Even though she ate just as much as the rest of the denizens of the town, she packed on the pudge at an unprecedented rate.
She had a small theory that since everypony for generations over hundreds of years had been getting fat, their bodies had accounted for the influx of calories and gained much slower. Not her though. She felt like a balloon attached to an air tank with the valve stuck open. Every morning she would check the industrial strength scales in her bathroom, amazed as a pound or two stuck to her figure from the day before, only to consume a monstrous breakfast with an equally blimped up Sweetie Belle. The amount of food that she could put away would have made the old Rarity gag, something she was oddly proud of now.
In between her now regular gorging sessions, she would receive many customers to her shop. All of them with requests for the next size with their torn and ill-fitting outfits. She was now fully accustomed to the local fashion too. Virtually everypony wore clothes which left their immense guts on full display, the t-shirts she created more designed to cover the client’s breasts and upper arms, though some would forego even the sleeves. Stretchy shorts were the norm as well, leaving most of the thighs and lower exposed. Even with her services needed for less complicated ensembles, she didn’t mind. It gave her ample opportunity to go and continue to indulge.
Stepping up the entrance to the Hayburger, she watched as the automatic door slid open, allowing a powerful blast of hot air to waft out, carrying the heavy, delectable smell of grease. Following this was the sound of unbound gluttony, with the sounds of munching, gurgles and gas assailing her ears. Plodding in, she craned her head around, looking at the wide booths, filled with mares and stallions chomping and slurping their way though thousands of calories. Her eyes caught sight of an immense purple figure, surrounded by stacks of oily bags. Lumbering her way over, she saw the figure engrossed entirely in her consumption, mowing down calorie bomb after calorie bomb.
“Twilight!” At hearing her name, her eyes flicked up for their almost glassy state. Blinking, she caught sight of the unicorn mare, a smile creasing her massive cheeks. If Rarity though Pinkie was big, then she had nothing on the alicorn. Given that she had been the personal student to Celestia herself, the fattest mare in Equestria, she had developed some rather extreme habits from the solar diarach. For one, she was teetering on the edge of mobility. In fact, her binging would briefly push her over the threshold until she could digest it all down into fresh layers of blackcurrant lard.
She had to be over 800 pounds. Her mattress like gut squashed into the table, bulging around it as her two belly rolls seemed to consume the reinforced furniture. This was partially mirrored by the dump truck ass she had filling and overflowing the immense seat, her shorts leaving nothing to the imagination with the criss-cross of tears across their surface. Her back was swaddled by an accordion like bunching of flab rolls, practically drowning her trapped wings. Pendulous boobs strained the immense shirt she wore, containing breasts a size the Rarity didn’t dare think about. This was all compounded by how messy she was. Her sausage like fingers were covered in a myriad of sauces, a trait shared by her shirt, neck and chin.
“BOOOOUURRRPPP!!!! Rarity, I’m glad you made it!” With a wobbling wave of her hand, she gestured to the seat opposite her. Walking to the otherside, the alabaster mare carefully slid herself into the free booth, feeling cool metal on her belly as she squeezed into the gap. Planting her badonkadonk down, she felt her pillow like cheeks spread out from the sheer girth of her body. Carefully, she placed her gut under the table, feeling it touch Twilight’s own fluffy gut.
Twilight’s horn glowed for a moment, before a pile of sandwiches, fries and milkshakes appeared in a burst of purple magic. “Don’t worry about payment. Princesses get unlimited amounts of…UURRPP!!...food at Hayburger. Perks of being royalty.”
Rarity hummed and nodded in agreement, before wrapping her lips the straw of a cool milkshake. She noted how rolling drops of condensations dripped down the side, wetting her hands as she took a long drag on the straw. Her eyes widened at how thick it was, like she was gulping down soft ice cream instead. Twilight giggled at her expression, before shoving a large carton of fries into her own mouth, crunching them down at breakneck pace. Several potato slices escaped, falling into her cleavage before she grabbed them, dooming them to her eternally hungry gut. A moment later, a rumble of gas came from under the alicorn's bulk, wobbling her form as she let out a small sigh, chomping down on another morsel. Rarity didn’t even flinch, as she unwrapped one of the hayburgers, briefly amazed at the size of it. Grilled brioche buns, fresh lettuce and tomatoes, thick hay, all covered in an unknown condiment. Shrugging, she placed it to her lips, relishing the wonderful flavour.
As the mares continued to consume, Rarity could feel her body tingling ever so slightly. Glancing down, she watched her own belly seemingly quivering as she swallowed down another mouthful. She felt more mass forcing itself against Twilight’s own blubber. It hit her. She was getting fatter before her very eyes. This hadn’t escaped the alicorns gaze, as she gave her a knowing look.
“Princess burgers. Made with a special hyper calorie dense formula from the rare Blubberthistle. Each bite has several hundred thousand calories. As the name suggests, they are…FRRRPPPTT!!!...awfully expensive and only for those with pockets deep enough.” She calmly explained, now just watching as the mare continued to wolf the delectable sandwich down.
“Really, they are too much for a normal pony to consume, a strange as that may sound. But I was curious, what with your amazing talent for packing on the pounds.” Rarity nodded absently, her jowls wobbling around as she continued ploughing on. She could feel her outfit strain and creak all around her as single digits turned into double digits, the deluge of excess pounds causing her figure to balloon spectacularly, drawing the gaze of other patrons.
Rarity could feel them gaze at her body, either in jealousy or lust. She paid neither of them any mind. Only focusing on her overwhelming taste, and the sensation of her body squashing into the seat, her friend’s fat and the straining of overtaxed fabric. A low rumble emanated from her belly, travelling lower down. A moment later, a burst of flatulence unashamedly erupted. Normally, she would have been embarrassed by even a belch, let alone such a repugnant thing.
But she couldn’t find the will to care about it. Twilight gave her a reassuring pat on the belly, resting her hand on it, and feeling as new flab leaked through the gaps in her fingers. The massive sandwich was reduced to a few more bites, her nearly full gut glorping and groaning as it processed the fat bomb down. With one last mouthful, she gulped it down, her neck rippling from the immense portion, settling in her grease filled tummy. Groaning, she leaned back, letting out a succession of belches as she did so.
“So, Raritubby, how did you like that?” Twilight teased, using her magic to rub the unicorn's belly as well as with her own greedy, greasy hands that took handfuls of wobbling flesh. All the while, Rarity’s body continued to process the Blubberthistle into more fresh layers of adipose. Something had to give.
Just as she was opening her mouth to respond, a long, drawn out groan of material rang out before a veritable explosion of cloth ejected from her body. A sharp rip, and her shirt tore clean down the middle and across the sleeves, her scantily clad tits flopping out. Her shorts mirrored this, marshmallow plot splitting it right down her ass crack, revealing a thin pair of panties, lodged deep into the crack. No longer restrained, her now free bottom leapt a few inches to the edge of the seat, sagging down as gravity tugged at the immense caboose.
