It all started in the office of Principal Celestia, the students were around the door to see what all the commotion is about. They wondered who was in trouble? Who was the student, the student that broke the glass in the science room? It felt like a mystery for them. They could hear a voice, as they slowly realized it was the student that people mostly hated and knew he was lazy.
It couldn't been Flash Sentry, Micro Chips or even Bulk Biceps. But it wasn't, it was no longer than...
"Zephyr Breeze, what're you thinking?" Celestia said as her voice sounded fierce. Zephyr couldn't help but let out a silent gulp. He was in a dark room as the blinds were shut, the smell of the room was scented oak, it made it feel serious and threatening. Since a bit of light was shone into the room, he could only see her face. Her eyes were narrowing at him as they looked sharper, sharper then a blade cutting through wood. Her lips were down, downer then a sewage floor and her brows were so crooked, Zephyr could feel his being cut off.
The room felt silent for a moment as Celestia leaned back into her chair. She took a breath and said. "Zephyr, what you've done today, could've made me more disappointed." Zephyr looked at her, as his heart slowly thumped and sweat began to form. He sighed before he stuttered. "N-now now, I-I'm s-s-sure we could s-solve this like regular h-humans b-b-beans? Right?" He said.
Celestia took a look at him before standing up from her seat. "Zephyr, we could. But today, I've never imagined of all my years, I could've been so upset." She went towards him as she began to slowly roam against him, she was slowly walking in circles as she took glances at him. This made Zephyr slowly perk up with sweat, it now felt like she was a snake.
"Now tell me, since the cameras that me and my sister saw of you," She yelled, going near his face, making him shriek again causing him the fall. "Ow." He mumbled. "I saw how you used that soccer ball during lunch. You and, well, Rainbow Dash were hanging out. I must say, that is a bit of a surprise, since in the past I've heard rumors and even tales of you, flirting with her?" She said.
Zephyr slowly got up to his seat before he stretched his muscles, hearing a "pop" sound. "Yeah? T-that w-w-was in the past." He got out. Celestia went to her seat before she turned on her lamp light, Zephyr used his hand to cover his face not wanting to feel the ray of light in his face. Celestia turned the lamps head towards Zephyr before leaning her hands in her face.
"And I even saw how surprisingly high you kicked it, like your bones are pretty weak and-" She was cut off. "Hey! My bones are not weak!" He yelled, as he felt his hands shake. Celestia slammed her hand on the table, making the aqua boy shut his trap. Celestia took another breather and said. "After when I saw you kick it and crash into the window," She paused before she rubbed her temples.
Zephyr's heart felt like it sank to his stomach, his pupils lowered and now he felt like it was the end for him. He was now screwed and now feared that his parents and his sister were going to be involved. Celestia looked at Zephyr again and said. "For this, the window would cost just sixty dollars to repair, and as for that, I'm gonna give you detention for two whole weeks." A gasp came from the student while the others gasped outside.
It was heard so loudly that Celestia could pick it up. She got up from her seat before she walked towards her door. Opening it, she glared at the students in a fierce matter, making them shriek and run off in terror. She slammed the door shut before she walked towards her desk. Sitting down on her seat, she glanced at Zephyr and said. "As so, I'll be calling your parents after school and as additional punishment, you'll repaint the wall outside of the school."
Zephyr's jaw drop as he yelled. "What?!" Celestia tried to keep herself in control. "It'll cover up the cost of the window and-" She was interrupted. Zephyr got up immediately and said. "Are you crazy?! I can't paint all of the walls of the school, don't you know how long it'll take?" He shouted, Celestia waved her hands towards him and said. "Now calm down Zephyr, your misunderstanding. I don't mean all the walls. I meant the wall on the far right."
He lifted a brow before sitting back down. "On the far right?! That's the tallest wall we have!" He yelled once again.
"I know, but it's a lesson and a punishment. You should be grateful I'm not letting you clean the whole inside of the school or the basement." She said, sounding sternly.
Zephyr groaned as he sunk in his chair. "Now, as we settle this, do you want some help? I could perhaps allow you to have company while you do so." She asked.
"I don't know, perhaps that'll be, uh, fine." He said.
"Do you have anyone? Any friends? Family? Or a girlfriend?" She asked. Girlfriend. The word popped in his head. Zephyr slowly put a finger to his chin. "Perhaps..."
It was fifth period as Laura was busy with her math work. It's been another week of learning algebra, as she was slowly getting the hang of it. It was easy as she followed and studied the steps, even with a help of her friend Twilight, she continued to slowly understand.
She also had an appointment after school, it wasn't a doctor's or a dentist's, it was a interview. A job interview. Since Laura is running short on money, she wanted to make some extra money on the weekends so that she could pay for her rent, food and bills. She was hoping and praying for this to come true. As so she thought.
It all silent as the sun continued to shine in the room, the window was opened as the fresh wind from the air came in making the place cooler than a freezer. It felt perfect, until a sudden "beep" came from the speaker. Some of the students couldn't help but look up while other's ignored it.
The announcer cleared her throat before saying, Laura Daniels, please come to the main office. Laura Daniels, please come to the main office please. Thank you. The speaker went off. Laura's pupils lowered, she didn't understand what happened. Was she in trouble? She began to pack her stuff as she put her papers, pencils and most of her school things in her binder. Placing her binder in her bag, she zipped up her bag before she got up from her seat.
Her teacher Mrs.Cheerlie said. "Do you have everything Laura?" She took a look at her teacher, giving her a quick anxious smile. "Yeah. I'll see you tomorrow." She nodded before Laura got out of the classroom. She began to walk down the halls as she held onto her back-pack stripe. She began to think.
What does the principal want? I'm I in trouble? That's impossible, I was good for the last year or two. It just doesn't make sense!
As minutes passed, she got towards the main office door. She could feel her heart pound and her fear sweep in her body. She tried calming herself, which she breathed in then out. She said to herself. "Okay, let's do this." She touched the knob. She twisted it as the sound of creaking came from the door as she stepped in. She saw how dark it was as the only light was from the lamp and the bits of outside. She turned around as she saw a light switch, before so, she switched it on as she saw the principal with her boyfriend, Zephyr.
She blinked a few times before she lifted a brow and her lips narrowed. Oh my god, really Zephyr? What have you done now? She closed the door before she slowly moved herself towards the seat. "Laura, your here, have a seat." Laura sighed as she sat beside Zephyr, putting her bag on the floor. Celestia folded her hands before saying. "Now, since your here, I might want to tell you something."
"And what would that be?" She asked, sounding sternly. Zephyr's pupils lowered as he stared at his girlfriend then looked back Celestia, twiddling his thumbs. "You see, when your, ahem, boyfriend was at lunch, he was hanging out with Rainbow Dash," Surprising. She thought. "and to make a long story short, he kicked the soccer ball into the science window. Luckily not injuring anyone."
Laura sighed in frustration as she took a look at her principal. "And what's the consequences?" She asked. "As for so, I'll make sure to call his parents and as for his punishment to make the money, he'll need to paint the tall wall of our school and you need him to help him and keep him company."
Her pupils lowered before she glanced at Zephyr then at her principal. She felt shocked at this. "W-what?! B-but I had something today!" She shouted.
"Calm down Laura, I'm sure your doctor has a-"
"But I had a job interview! An interview in that Sushi Place, Sunset works at! You can't-"
"Laura!" Celestia shouted, making her jump. She sighed as she continued. "I'm sorry to hear that, but you have no choice. And don't worry, I'll be able to call the place for you and the two of you will start after school."
Laura's eyes slowly began to water. She couldn't believe what's she's hearing. She tried to speak up by saying. "B-but,"
"No but's. And don't worry, I'm sure they're other jobs for you out there." Celestia said. Laura couldn't help but feel her blood boil in an instant. She looked at Zephyr, which made him slightly gasp in fear. "Y-you stupid," She was paused by Zephyr.
"Now, now! M'lady, please it's not gonna be-" He was paused.
"No Zephyr, this was like the fourth or so time you got yourself in trouble! Now because of this, I'm not gonna get a job!" She screamed.
"I'm sorry! How was I supposed to know it was gonna kick that high!" He shouted.
Tears continued to form as she gave a growl.
"I-I don't care! What you did was just so, so unacceptable! You made me ruin my moment to get a job and because of this, I'm just," She screamed in frustration before she got up from her seat as she grabbed her bag, she stomped out of the room as she did so, Celestia yelled "Wait! Laura, come b-" Slam!
Zephyr's pupils lowered once more before lowering himself into his seat. He formed a frown as he sighed, putting his hand on his face as he slowly felt the regret.
The sound of the bell rang as the students got out of their classes, they began to chat as laughter slowly filled the air. Slowly, each student got outside of the school, to walk home or to go to their buses. As for the couple and the principal, the couple were together on the right side of the school. As they saw the wall, they realized how huge it was, it about twenty feet tall and the width was more then fifteen.
They had a blue mat beneath them as they had their equipment, like ladders, paint buckets filled with brown paint and brushes either big or small. The two teens were wearing a sweat of white shirts, shorts and sandals. As for Celestia, she was on the right side of the mat, her hands were folded behind her back as she stared at the students.
"Okay, now I'll give you only five hours a day. And I'll first tell that their rules, the first rule is make sure to stroke the areas with the pain three to four times. It'll only take about two weeks or so to complete. Second rule, you aren't allowed to leave this mat unless you have to go to the bathrooms. Last rule, make sure you do your work." Celestia said, Zephyr nodded while Laura rolled her eyes.
A smile grew on the principal's face. "Good! Now, I'll be in my office and if you need anything," She paused for a moment before she grabbed out a waki-talkie. Laura walked towards her as she grabbed it, settling it in her pocket. She mumbled thank you but Celestia didn't hear it. "I'll see you later you two and good luck." She said before walking off towards the door as she got in. Laura sighed before she grabbed the paint brush and said bitterly. "Come on stupid, let's work."
Zephyr sighed and said. "Look, m'lady, I'm s-"
"Don't talk to me." She said. She went towards the bucket as she opened the lid off. In it had a beautiful brown as it shone into the sun. She grabbed the bucket as she slowly walked towards the wall. She dipped her brush in the liquid as she slowly put it on the wall. She began to stroke her brush as her blood continued to boil.
"But m'lady,"
"Stop standing around and help me paint! And don't talk to me!" She shouted as she dipped her brush again in the paint and stroked. Zephyr felt like his skin crawled and his heart once again pounded as he feared of getting yelled at. Going towards her, he grabbed a paint brush as he tried to dip it in the paint. He slowly placed the brush on the wall and began to stroke.
As the minutes go by, the only sound of birds and the wind hitting the trees. Slowly at a time, the students from the school cleared out. Some came out of the back of the school, seeing the two students painting. They'd either become confuse or some laugh at them making Laura scream at them like a banshee.
Zephyr was silent for the rest of the paint job. He tried twice to talk to her but she only told him to be quiet which made his guilt rise. He wished he had a solution.
About two hours later, half of the wall was painted with the first coat. Laura was sweating buckets as she removed the sweat off her forehead. Zephyr painted the final spot before doing the same. He took a look at her as she put the brush on the floor. She took out the walkie-talkie she was given as she looked at the time.

A sigh came from her before she put the talkie in her pocket. She took a look at Zephyr which he in an instant looked away. A small "hm!" came from her before turning her back away from him. A small groan came from him.
"Oh come on! Are you still moping about this?" He asked.
"Yes! And don't you dare talk to me!" She yelled before crossing her arms.
"Listen woman! Stop saying "don't talk to me!" We're in a relationship and perhaps as normal people, we could solve this!" He shouted.
Laura turned her head before she stomped towards him and poked his chest hardly.
"It's your fault. You're just so, so stupid of breaking that dumb window! If you didn't hang out with one of my friends! My friends! This! Wouldn't! Happen!" She screamed.
Zephyr took a step back as he stood over her, making her feel small. "Well, excuse me! How was I supposed to know you had a job interview! If you texted me about it maybe I wouldn't hung out with her and I've would've supported you!" He said while Laura pushed him.
"You are stupid!" She shouted.
"Your stupid! Your stupid!" He screamed.
Laura turned around and walked towards the bucket before grabbing it. Zephyr lifted a brow and asked. "Where are you going?! Come back-oof!" He shouted as a splash of paint was thrown at him, making him slip from the mat.
He landed on his back, which he felt an instant pain. "Ow! What the heck?!" He shouted. Laura was standing a far from him, her hand was now covered in brown paint as she was huffing and puffing angrily. "This is what you get!" She screamed.
Zephyr slowly sat up and saw that his uniform was in paint. Bits of his legs, arms and even neck was covered by the paint. He looked up at Laura, his brow narrowed and he gritted his teeth. He slowly got up from the area before grabbing another opened un-used bucket. Opening the lid, he put his hand in the liquid as it felt warm. Taking it out, he had a handful of paint, ready to be thrown at anytime.
Laura smirked at him before giving out a bitter chuckle. "So? Your gonna go against me?" She asked.
"You threw paint at me first, woman!" He shouted.
"Pfft! Oh please! I bet you can't even throw that-hey!" Splat! In fast motion she was hit in the face with paint. Coughing slightly, she put her paint down before using her unpainted one. She gently slid her hand on her face and saw her hand was now brown. Putting it down in fast motion, she took a look at Zephyr, now her eyes were like daggers.
Her anger was now unleashed. A furious growl came from her before grabbing her paint in fast motion and yelled. "Oh! You wanna fight?!"
"Yeah! I wanna fight!" He screamed.
"Okay then! Then, let's, battle to the DEATH!"
In seconds, the couple let out a battle cry and began to throw paint at another. Laura grabbed her paint brush as Zephyr ran towards her. She began to punch Zephyr's face with the paint brush in fast motion. Zephyr pushed her before he threw paint at her. She ducked down before she threw large amounts of paint at him.
Zephyr got caught in the trap as the liquid splashed on his legs.
"How dare you," He screamed. "These legs are for leg day!" Running towards Laura, he tried to grab her paint brush. Laura began to dodge him as she tried her best to slap the brush in his face, but he used his arms to dodge it.
"Grr! Screw that! Your legs are perfect!" She shouted before she got splashed with another batch of paint, as it went in her hair.
"Haha! Your hair's ruin!" He mocked making the Italian fume even more.
"Well, at least I don't break window's, ha!" She shouted before she once again slapped the brush in his face. Zephyr used his hand to cover his face. He backed away as Laura continued to walk fiercely towards him as she continued to slap him. He looked down at the mat as he saw his paint brush, he smirked as an idea came popped in his mind.
In fast motion, he grabbed the brush and clanked it against his girlfriend's. A gasp came from her.
"Ah! A weapon against me? I'll like to see this." She said.
"M'lady, I know how to use a weapon. A weapon of paint! Ahh!" He clanked his brush against her's. She groaned before slapped his. Clank! Clap! Swing! They began to sword fight with their brushes as the wood began to slowly chip and the buckets were dropped as the remaining paint spilled on the mat.
This last for minutes on end, it got intense, they continued to bicker and battle cry as the fight continued. They didn't know how long it was gonna last, but they fought as good as possible.
Zephyr clanked his "sword" as he leaned forward against his m'lady. "I. Will. Win!" He shouted.
"No. You. Will. Not! AH!" She screamed before she punched the brush out of his hands, making the brush hit Zephyr's nose. "Ow!" He whimpered, hanging onto his face. Laura gasped as in quick motion, came to his aid as he leaned away. She put her hands on his arms, as she made him turn around.
"Oh my god! Zephyr, are you okay?" She asked.
"Yeah, ow. My nose." He continued to whimper, before Laura grabbed a hold of his face, making him blush.
"Is it bruised?" She asked.
"Well, I don't k-hey! Why are you talking to me, we're supposed to fight!" He shouted, shoving her hands away.
Laura put a finger to her chin and said before nodding. "Hey. Your right. And I'm gonna run, see ya!" She yelled as she began to run around the mat.
"Hey! Get back here!" He shouted, chasing her around the small area.
Another five minutes later, a game of cat and mouse began as the two ran in the area they're in. Shouting, chasing, even throwing stuff around was happening, which actually got out of hand. However, something happened.
As Laura ran, she forgot that the paint was spilled on the mat. So as she turned around, she run backwards and shouted. "Ha, ha! That's right, your too slow! As I said, your too sl-woah!" She screamed, slipping in the spot. Zephyr's pupils lowered as he gasped. "M'lady!"
He ran towards her as he quickly grabbed her. However for him being in the spill, he slipped too, making himself and his m'lady fall in fast motion before banging their heads against each other.
"Ow!" They shouted in unison, as they rubbed their heads. Groaning, they saw a bit of stars surrounding them before in seconds they disappeared as they got back to reality.
"Ooh. Zephyr, are you okay?" She groaned, as she stopped rubbing her head. A whimper came from him again and said. "Well, I think s-huh?". He paused as they took a look at each other. They narrowed their brows before turning their heads away.
"Why are you on top of me," Zephyr asked, blushing harder. "We're supposed to be fighting! Not loving!"
"Because you caught me you fool! What do you think you," She paused for a moment as she took a look at him then said. "Did? You caught me."
Zephyr sighed before taking a look at her. "Yes I did! I did that because I care! I care okay! I don't want you getting, hurt," He paused.
In Laura's eyes, she saw her boyfriend Zephyr, his face was splattered with paint and a red mark was on his forehead and nose. In Zephyr's eyes, he saw his m'lady, mostly covered in the paint as her face and how her hair was now ruined. They continued to look at each other as the only sound they felt was their hearts.
"Even when we argue. We'll still love each other." They said in unison.
Their cheeks began to turn red and their eyes grew. As they continued stare at each other, it felt like for hours. Hours of paradise. Zephyr continued to see her face before a slight snicker came from him which slowly increased.
"W-what's so funny you stupid dork?" She asked as her cheeks went red.
"Haha, it's, pfft-haha! Your face! Haha!" He said, as his laughter continued. Laura lifted a brow before seeing his face, seeing how covered it was, even his legs and arms painted made her suddenly realize something. All of this was, well, stupid. Fighting over something that was so worth it but hurting the one that you love, wasn't. Laura couldn't help but slightly smile and slowly join in the laughter.
The couple continued to laugh as it filled the area they're in, not caring if anyone saw. After a minute of laughter, it died down as Zephyr hung onto the back her head. He began to slightly stroke her hair. As she felt it, she slowly relaxed as she laid her head on his chest, hearing the sound of his heart beating.
About a minute later, the silents continued for a moment before Zephyr cleared his throat as he spoke up.
"M'lady?" He said as he stopped stroking.
"Yes? Zephyr Breeze?" She asked, lifting her head up as she stared at him. Zephyr looked away from her for a second before glancing back at his girlfriend.
"I wan't to tell you that, well, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to do this to you. After when you yelled at me, called me stupid and had this fight. I wanted to say I'm sorry for ruining your opportunity to get a job," He said calmly. "I felt guilt, I truly did. And, I hope one day you'll get the job you needed. I'm sorry. I promise too I'll support you and do it no matter what."
Laura looked at him as she continued to smile.
"Zephyr. It's okay. I'm sorry for calling you names too and not acting mature enough to talk about it. Instead we caused," She paused for a moment before looking around, seeing it was all ruined in the paint splatters and fallen wood chips. "A war,"
Zephyr couldn't help but giggle at her comment. Laura put a finger to his lips, shutting him up.
"Hey, it's not funny. Plus we're in hot water and you know how Principal Celestia is." She said.
He sighed before rolling his eyes as Laura removed her finger.
"I know, I know. You don't have to be my "teacher" to tell me that." He said, making Laura chuckle while her cheeks flushed more.
"Oh okay, window breaker. If you don't shut up for a moment, I'll do something to you." She teased as she used her finger, circling his shirted chest.
"Mm? And what would that be?" He asked, lifting a brow.
She smirked too before grabbing him by the shirt and kissed his lips. His eyes widen by this, surprised at the come-back. He couldn't help but smile as he kissed back. He hung onto her back before so she did the same. They slightly rolled on the mat, not caring if paint or even wood chips went on them.
Doing this for a minute, they're lips released as they nuzzled noses against each other.
"W-what was that for?" He asked.
"Just to say, I accept your apology and to say, I love you." She said. He blinked a few times before his whole face turned pepper red.
"T-thank you. I love you too, m'lady." He said, pecking her lips. Laura's face also became pepper red before she grabbed him and kissed.
The kiss they had was so warm. So passionate. And so refreshing. Laura put her hands around his back, slowly massaging it. Zephyr hung onto her back as well, doing the same. Their eyes were closed and their hearts continued to beat faster then ever. Nothing was gonna stop this moment for them.
However, as their kiss continued they heard a gasp, making the couple's eyes shot open.
Letting go, they turned their heads to see their principal in shock. Her hands hanging onto her head, her pupils lowered and her jaw dropped. Laura and Zephyr looked at each other then at her in a panic. She took a look at the two and yelled.
"You two are in trouble!"
"Haha, oops." They said in unison.
