Arboreal Grieving
Every home has old possessions you don't give up in memorium. A select few grip these more then their own, treasuring the treasures of those who have passed on. Princess Celestia finds herself in this position.
Every home has old possessions you don't give up in memorium. You see it in the man who still has his grandmother's old lamp. You see it in the teenager who inherited a baseball card collection, or perhaps a great deal of vintage CDs. You see it in the grandfather, who still holds his wife's old jewelry in the drawer. Those who have passed leave us their own loves, loves we cannot easily lose. After all, sentimentality is the death of reason.
A select few grip these possessions more then their own.
