Scene #9

As the couple entered through the door, they saw the guests as they're drinking their drinks, chatting and laughing along to the jokes they'd heard. It was a very busy for the couple as they're invited by one of Victoria's friends, Rarity. She wanted to bring the couple and Victoria's other friends, to show them and the guests her newly fashion designs to sell for her new boutique.

Their party was just outside of Canterlot City, as they're in the northern part of Manhattan. It was 7:30 that evening, as the party started not too long ago. The couple were running late, since Zephyr Breeze slept in after they got to the hotel.

The couple were about almost four feet up as they looked down to see the stairs were steep. A slight gulp came from Victoria, she saw how everything looked from top to bottom, including the guests. Slowly by this, she felt her heart slightly thump as her eyes lowered. She then turned towards her husband.

"Zephyr." She said, as he turned his head to her.

"Yes m'lady?" He asked.

"Do you feel, nervous?" She asked, as she looked away from him. Zephyr lifted a brow at her.

"Why would you feel nervous, m'lady? I thought you wanted to go for your friend." He said.

A sigh came from her. "Well, of course I wanted to go, but look at the people," She said, before Zephyr looked down again as he saw the jewelry the guests wore, the dress how they shined in the lights, the men had the perfect suites while as they talked in a snobbish matter. He continued to look for almost thirty seconds, till it popped in his head. He turned to her again, as he gave a sigh.

"Is it because of the people?" He asked.

She couldn't help, but shyly nod.

"Look, I understand these, well, snobs, aren't like us. But, m'lady," He paused as he used his hand to grab her chin, as he turned it slowly towards hims as her eyes looked up at him. Seeing his velvet eyes made her heart flutter, while her cheeks turned a soft pink.

"Just because we're different, doesn't mean they're better or have the best things. It's a matter of who you are and how you treat people," He said before he gave a gentle to kiss on her cheek.

"Plus, I understand how Rarity is in the status of fancy, but remember, when were down there, just be normal and yourself." He said, before he settled his arm around hers, making her blush more. She looked up at her husband, as her eyes grew and a smile went on her face.

"Oh, Zephyr, I swear, you've really matured." She said.

A chuckle came from him before he nodded. "I always try to be." He said. Victoria took a grip to his arm as the couple looked down the stairs as they slowly got to the floor.
