Author's Note

OK soooo I got really frustrated at the fact that there was not many Human to Gryphon stories and even more so when I couldn't find any MtF Human to Gryphon stories but the kicker is that I really wanted a story about a human guy becoming a female gryphoness and getting into a relationship with a male and finding love or just smut not sure on how well I can write a convincing romance.

I decided to change it where Rainbow is a mare like the rest of the mane six instead of being the only stallion. Like I had had it. I also did my best to clean up the run on sentences, spelling errors, and other mistakes.

Prologue: The accidents

Flower Street, Ponyville

A low growl came from the throat of an irate gryphoness making sure ponies had a reason to give her a wide birth. Though the street was practically deserted as most of the town's ponies were back at the party. The very party she just left after her closest friend said they wanted nothing more to do with her. Her pegasus friend had decided that she was no longer welcome in their life, so she left. Dash had hurt her beyond anything any bully had done to her in her whole life, and unwilling to let her know how much she had hurt her, Gilda pretended to be angry and flew out of the bakery seemingly in anger.

But now that she was alone the tears began to form at the corners of her golden eyes. As she lost herself to her pain she failed to notice the towering skeleton of the future rec center being built. Unnoticed by the sorrowful gryphon the beams began to creek and groan having been left unfinished leaving them unable to hold their own weight up.

It was with a thundering crash that brought the party to a halt, soon the ponies were gathered around the collapsed frame of what would've been a new community rec center. But that wasn't what had everyponies' attention it was rather the bloody and broken form of the mean gryphon that they had all too happy to see leave. Making a select few feel guilty about how they had treated her.

Her toned and supple form was beaten and bloody with her shorts and top being torn and soaking up her blood. Her left wing was bent at an odd angle meaning it was almost certainly broke or at least dislocated. But before anypony else could get a better view a blue blur followed by a rainbow contrail rushed in and grabbed the gryphon before speeding off towards the hospital.

Somewhere in Wisconsin, USA

I let out a groan as I struggle to see the lines on the road through the rain and darkness of the late hour. Grumbling to myself about having to drive my drunk brother back to his apartment after he and his friends decided it was a good idea to get drunk in the middle of nowhere, again.

Suddenly with a flash of lightning giving me a better view of the road giving me a second to see the massive tree trunk across the road so close I could see the details of the bark. Slamming my foot on the break while screaming enough curses that even a sailor would blush at, but I was either going too fast or the wet road was too wet I will probably never know. However, what I do know is that time seemed to slow to a crawl as my car smashed into the trunk and began to crumple like a piece of paper. Soon the pressure shattered the windshield sending thousands of shards of glass into my face but before the pain even came everything went black and I heard a soothing female voice say.

"I have an opportunity for you."

After what felt like an eternity I realized that the pain hadn't come yet, nor had my thoughts stopped buzzing around my brain. Many on how confused I was to not feel the expected pain and still be able to think, then there was this warm fuzzy feeling I was getting from all over my body.

So slowly I inched my eyes open only for them to shoot open at what was before me, looking around my eyes were met with a soft white light of a moonlight field with the most clear and star filled sky I had ever seen. The field itself was filled with a waist high grass and blooming moonflowers, they're pure white heads drinking in the soft moon's glow.

It was as I was wondering if this was heaven I was momentarily blinded by a flash of light from the moon as a star made its descent to the field. As I watched it connect with the flowers it morphed into a tall anthro mare with a cream coat and flowing crimson locks for her mane and tail. She was wearing a simple white dress that made me think of purity and goodness, because with her wings she reminded me of an angel. Though with the soft grass and tall flowers I was unable to see her legs or how short the dress was.

What had my attention was her face it was a muzzle similar to a horse's with a kind smile shining to her eyes as she began to move towards me. I noticed the large beautiful wings on her back as well as her horn telling exactly who this pony was. That however didn't help me out of my shock as she stopped before me and giggled at my expression. So I ask the only things that came to me first I asked "Are you an Angel? And is this Heaven?"

This of course got her laughing, she even snorted from how hard she was laughing causing me greater confusion, and just as she was getting herself back under control she peeked up and saw my face which set her off once more.

Finally, after some time she calmed down and said "No I am not an angel but yes this is a version of Heaven that my youngest created for those who found comfort in the night."

"You mean Luna?" I blurted out to which she smiled and nodded.

Before I could ask anything else she began to explain, "Yes and yes, Christian, I am Faust the mother of Celestia and Luna as well as the creator of Terra the planet home to Equestria and many others." She gives a sad sigh before continuing. "I'm sorry to say but you are dead in your world. After your moving carriage hit that tree it burst into flames and it wasn't until the next day that the flames had stopped, and a local farmer found your crash. I brought your spirit here instead of letting you pass on because I have need of you. One that I think you will like."

Too shocked by everything I was just told I could only nod for her to continue, "Well you see the world that you know as My Little Pony is real and though I am powerful I am not all knowing. So before I could intervene a terrible accident happened to an important person in my world and even though I was able to save the body enough for it to survive. I was not fast enough to stop her spirit from moving on and it has already moved on. So that's where you come in as your human body was beyond saving even for me, but I was able to catch your spirit and I have a body that needs to live and needs a spirit for that. I'm offering you a second chance in My world..."

Before she could finish I nodded vigorously and felt a growing warmth as a light began to build from me and Faust just sighed having a feeling this would happen. And with her creation magic, it often acted without her input so before she could tell the once human about what happened and whose body he would be getting he already accepted and her magic having been waiting for the right moment began its work.

Ponyville General Hospital, Ponyville

A young cyan blue mare with a wind swept rainbow mane and tail was pacing back and forth in the private waiting room with her five other friends and Spike the dragon. She anxiously awaited news on her oldest friend who she and the rest of the ponies of Ponyville found in the rubble of what was to be the new rec center for Ponyville. Having spotted Gilda broken and bloody felt a pang of guilt for how she treated her at the party and was spiraling down a hole of despair and guilt. As memories of how Gilda had been bullied in flight camp and was as shy as Fluttershy back then, and she had to step in to stop it. But now she believes that her gryphon friend has no hope of surviving the injuries she sustained. And while Dash was correct in that she had died Faust's magic had saved the Gryphon's body enough for the ponies to get her to the hospital. So the pegasus known as Rainbow Dash grabbed her oldest friend and took off to the hospital where they took her into surgery to try and save the gryphoness. That was hours ago and by now Dash's friends had arrived to find out how Gilda was doing only to get a sad shake of the head form Dash to let them know there had been no updates from the hospital staff.
