Weird Perception

"Hmm..." Lightning being thinking, if something like this will help him to get away his anger issues out for a second then a could try it, IF he wants to.

Today, the yellow one has an arguing with the other elements, not with Earth, cause if he fighting him then he probably in the grave by now. No, it was Wind. His cheerful and playfulness are the opposite of him, being aggressive and serious at the same time but it's not his fault but him. Who's disturb someone if they want to be alone sometime? I mean who does that? Thanks to that, Earth told Lightning to go outside to get some fresh air, and some privacy, thus he been given something from the leader of the trio.

In the middle of the field of grass, sitting while holding something on his right paw was a small orange cylinder, with a poster around it that said "BLOW IT!!!" on it.

It was a Bubble Bottle that given by the brown lion.

"Remember~ if you ever felt like lashing out, just blows some bubbles!" He smiles point out from Lightning flashback before he left the library.

The Electrokinesis stare at the bottle, looking at it annoying. "Who does he think I am...?"

Not just annoying but bewilder, since when they have a bubble bottle? Things in Equestria are a bit weird but hey, anything possible. With some peace of quiet. Slowly, he opens by twisting the orange cap to reveal a long white stick that has around shape at the end. He dips a couple of time before putting it in front of his mouth and like everyone usually does when small things trying land on the mouth area, he blows creating a thin skin or wall and traps the air, creating a multiple water bubble sphere, letting the wind control were they heading.

They have them in size. Some big, medium or smaller ones, floating wandering in the air before some of them began to pop.

*POP!*

"Ah..." He said in a soft calming voice, the explosion of a tiny bubble who made splat some sprinklers of soap and water, really, really are satisfied.

For a tsundere, he has a soft inside of him.

"LOUDER!!!!!"

Lightning flinch from a high pitch screaming coming from not far from his location. To make sure no one in trouble, he decided to investigate where the source from, so he stands up and start to walks to the origin of the sound, putting the bottle in his yellow bandana like a basket. Need to conserve his energy, just to be sure if what he encountered were unsafe so he won't use his Lightning Speed just yet.

Early...

In another field, Rainbow Dash is giving Fluttershy a lesson.

"Now, what have we learned?"

"Lots of control."

"Good."

"Screaming and hollering."

"Yes, and most importantly?"

"Passion!"

"Right! So now that you know the elements of a good cheer, let's hear one." The rainbow mare tells her who took a breath in.

"Yay." The shy one cheered in a very soft tone.

"Ugh, you're gonna cheer for me like that? Louder."

"Yay." Fluttershy cheered in the same soft tone.

"Louder!" Rainbow yelled which made her flinch.

"Yay." Still the same tone.

"LOUDER!!!!!" Rainbow Dash screamed.

Fluttershy breathed in deeply rearing back on her hooves before letting out her cheer until...

"Yaaay." Very gentle soft tone.

"Ugh..." The blue pegasus face-hoofed and fell backwards.

"Too loud?"

"Whatever," Rainbow said as she got up and flew up into the air. "I'm going to go start practising my stunt and Fluttershy, you need to work on that cheer." She said and flew off to the cloud above.

"Yay."

"Uh, Fluttershy?"

The yellow pegasus turned to see Lightning coming towards her in confusion looks. "What are you doing here?"

"Oh, Leo. I was cheering Rainbow Dash who doing her practices for the Best Young Flyer Competition." She replied, pointing her hoof at the sky, where he can spot the athletic mare who took a deep breath and bounced on the cloud.

She began flying straight downwards but shot left before she hit the ground. She began manoeuvring through a line of trees accurately, passing like a rocket while a large gust of wind blew her mane.

Back at the bottom, Fluttershy cheered "Wooo." In a soft tone though, while the cub sitting next to her and whistles in impress.

"Phase two."

Rainbow Dash flew upwards and then headed towards a cloud. She began spinning it rapidly, actually causing the cloud to spin itself. She applied the same technique to a couple of more clouds.

"Way to go," Fluttershy spoke softly.

"Here we go. Phase three. The Sonic Rainboom." The cyan pegasus said as she shot upwards.

Then she did a few loops before flying straight towards Fluttershy. She was significantly gaining speed and she continued to dash downwards. Fluttershy could only gaze in suspense as Rainbow Dash was about to finish her performance. Tears formed in the mare eyes as she continues to attempt to break the sound barrier with her speed. She had almost made it but suddenly the sound barrier won and threw her in the opposite direction. As Rainbow Dash screamed, Fluttershy placed a hoof on her mouth.

"Oh, dear..."

"Better make sure she alright." He sigh, then stand up again as he charges his electric energy on to his paws. "C'mon Fluttershy! Judging of we're she heads off, I think I know where we can find her."

With that, the lion speeds off, leaving a lightning trail behind while the yellow pegasus follows him along.

Meanwhile...

While Rainbow Dash was practising her stunts with Fluttershy practising her cheered, the other elements cubs, along with the rest of the Mane Six were helping Twilight clean up the library which was a mess thanks to Twilight who was studying non-stop for a week.

"Last one." She said as puts the last book away, making the library clean again. "Thank you so much for helping me clean up all these books, guys. It was a crazy week of studying."

"You should take a break from studying, Sis or you might miss out on everything else in life." Earth said.

"I was not surprised that Sis made a mess of the place. I mean, she always does this at home and at the Canterlot Library, poor us and Spike that we need to clean up the place." Wind sighed smile, remember the past while Twilight fluster.

"Hehe, wait, you boys were the one putting back all the books in the library?" Twilight asked and the answer from the lions was a nod. "I thought the librarians were cleaning the books when I slept."

"Of course not, it was Celestia suggest if you keep sleeping in the library, we will cleaning up for you." He stated.

"WHAT? She who recommend that?" She shocked, clearing her mentor given the order to her brother, twice!

"Yeah! She said that if we fulfil this every time you fell asleep, we would be like an important one!" He grinned, literally don't know what happens.

"She what?! That's it! Next time I will give a warning letter to the Princess to stop tolerate my brother anymore!" Twilight angrily thought for this.

Then suddenly, our wind manipulate sensed something heading towards the library at an extremely fast speed.

"Incoming!" He yelled as he flew up using his Gust Sprite while the other look confused until they all hear screaming coming to a window.

Wind Sphere!!!

He quickly summons a large blue sphere of wind, strengthening the centre of it, and he caught Rainbow Dash before she could crash into the library and cause a mess of the place from her crash.

"Got ya! Are you okay Dashie?"

"Y-yeah I am. This is the third time you save me. Thanks, Wind."

Just then, Lightning bursting to the door, following by Fluttershy.

"Rainbow Dash, you rock! Woohoo." She cheered before noticing another lion. "Wind and Earth? Oh, so you split?"

"Yep indeed. Hey! Why not you guys hang out for a second." He suggested.

"Eh, sure why not, I could use a break from practice." Rainbow accept the offer, along with Fluttershy.

The trio element stands next to each other after the wind boy released the blue pegasus on the ground while the ponies gather together as the lavender Unicorn asking the pegasi.

"Hey Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy, what have you two been up to?"

"We've been practising with me practising my stunts and Fluttershy with her cheering which I'm hoping she could improve." The rainbow mane said with a look at Fluttershy at the end.

"I'm sorry." She apologises as she looked down.

"Don't be down Fluttershy, you're not the most outgoing pony we know but I'm sure you will find the spark you need to cheer for your friends when they need it."

"Yeah! What he says!"

"Just stay strong and you will able to do it."

Hearing this makes the shy mare smile a little. "Oh, thanks, you three."

Rainbow Dash continues. "I wish you guys could come to Cloudsdale to see me compete in the Best Young Flyer Competition."

"What's that?" Twilight asked.

"Oh yeah, Fluttershy said to me about it before." Just then Pinkie turn to talk.

"It's where all the greatest Pegasus flyer gets together and show off their different flying styles! Some are fast!" She ran around the library while making a vehicle sound before stopping. "And some are graceful." She said and did a little ballerina twirl.

"Golly. I'd love to see you strut yer stuff in that competition." Applejack said.

"Yeah, I wish you guys could be there. Fluttershy's great support but her cheering isn't exactly inspirational." Dash said which made the other pegasus feel a little down.

The Aerokinesis saw this and feel sorry for her, just then lightning struck in his head, giving him an idea.

"I know!" He shouted, causing around him startled a bit and staring at him in confusion, though Lightning seems annoying for his attitude. "I can go with them to the Cloudsdale! I can fly remember, so I able to cheer for you, Rainbow Dash!"

"R-really? You can walk on cloud-like the pegasus?" Rainbow asked.

"Yep! Oh, and Lightning can come along too!"

"What...?

"Oh, that's right. Wind and Lightning are capable to stand on a cloud. Except me, since I'm earth."

"Woah woah woah. And you didn't tell me about this?" Twilight furious about this. "And I was about to test the new Leaf Element but you split! How many things you haven't told me, huh?!"

"Oh, c'mon Sis. As I said before, you will miss everything in your life if you keep on studying."

"Hold on! I wasn't volunteers to participate in this event, okay? So I don't wanna do it!"

"Don't be like! Rainbow Dash need all the support she can have!"

"Absolutely not!" Lightning protest until he saw Wind rushing toward him and slide under his jaw face.

"PLEASE~!" He pleads with very sparkling eyes, his pupil was now big and his teeth were flashing. Not the same as puppy dog eyes but it enough to force someone to change they thought.

"..."

The lightning cub stood quietly, looking down at Wind with his eyes shaking like being seen a horror movie and he totally can't resist this.

Sure this blue lion is annoying but whoever does this technique can't say no with those eyes right now.

With a deep breath, though the Lightning boy body is shivering. And a sigh of defeat, he doesn't have any choice.

Later, Weather Factory...

"Well, at least I don't need to assault myself from now on." Leo chimed while gazing at the sight of how beautiful the place is.

"Why'd you come all the way here but have to merge back to one?" Asked Rainbow Dash who surely confused. "I mean, Earth got here by the time the other two just land in a couple of minutes but you three decide to join back together? Why?"

"Because if Leo used the Splitting ability to long he would run out of energy," Twilight said, stomping her hoof on the fluffy cloud along with the rest of the Mane Six and her brother, march on to where the rainbow is made. "Plus, he immediately passed out if he kept splitting to long."

"Don't worry Dash, I split back when the tournament started." The lion concludes it.

Thanks to Twilight Sparkle for finding a spell that allows Unicorn and Earth pony to able to walk on a cloud for some time. Is a good thing that it works on other creature like Leo if not, then Earth have to stay. Well, there is one spell that Twilight had tried before finding the cloud walking spell but it requires a lot of training and magic, thus she tests it on a subject that volunteers herself, it's-

"Spicyyyy!" Pants from Pinkie Pie as she runs to get some water while the group laugh.

"Woah, I thought the rainbow has all kind of flavour?" Leo suspected.

"Yeah, rainbows aren't known for their flavour," Dash said.

As they move on, something struck the cub with a powerful sense, gaining his attention as he looks at his left side.

At the end of the between the rainbow maker machine, a grey door covering with some come web at its high side of it, with a dusty brown knob as it handles and a dirty sign which it says "CAUTION! NO ENTRY!" hanging on the door. They, he senses some weird energy coming from it.

He stops to gaze at the door, been left behind by his sister and the other. Slowly, uncaught, walking towards the destination. Not any pegasus are paying attention to the golden lion since they have work to do and feeling distracts from being fear by some stranger ponies but some of it he recognises so he doesn't feel intimidates as he arrived. With alert and guards up, he opens it, reveals something extremely out of his mind.

The atmosphere is in this room are darker as in front of him, was a giant black water tank shape like a cylinder with a bunch of pipes goes around it to some kind of a machine that let see the information inside of it. The floor of a cloud of course, white but nobody has taken care of this room and it becomes pure white while the wall was the same too. After staring for a second, he realised that this tank has not watered in it, instead have something else, something that his energy detector vibrant it about.

The manipulate move in silent as he reaches closer to the water tank. He doesn't know what to but inside of it have some connection between his power.

When suddenly, an electric static comes out of his right paw. He was shocked by this as more static coming from the left paws and then the body, it tingling from this sudden but he sure that this has to do with this thing.

*CLANG!*

Leo flinched. He looks at the tank as it making a sound like metal bar hitting each other, his nerves were high enough as he started to frighten for this. He cautiously got back to the exit as the clanging sound getting higher! Making the cub cranking up his speed with a worried face, the electrostatic is gone when he was further away now but the sound not.

There's a clipboard on the floor, or a cloud if you guess where he stands. As he grabs it before read it what it wrote.

'EXPERIMENT OF THE RED LIGHTNING'

STATUS: UNSTABLE

"Red Lightning?" Leo asked himself, is this why are his Lightning Elements making this weird static just then?

Then, some voice is heard in his head...

"ENOUGH!!!"

*BOOM*

"AAAHHHH!!!" He screams, dashes out from the room to the outside until he bumps into the pink pony. "AHH!!!"

"AAHHH!!! Oh! Leo! Why are you screaming?" Pinkie asks while sipping a cup of water.

"There's a-a..." He wants to reply, but seem to lost a word spoken.

The mare took a final gulp as she throws away the cup, as it lands perfectly in the trash can. "Anyway, c'mon! It's time we head to the competition!"

She bounces off while humming, going where the event took place as the cub look down on the cloud.

"I'm just going crazy r-right?" He mumbled, trying to find a solution to what just happen. "Come on, Leo... You know not some crazy lunatic. But the voice?... I hundred per cent sure I hear it from my head. Is it the same voice that once back at the Everfree Forest? No, that voice was sound like a female while this is male..."

With a sigh, he exits the place. But taking a glance at the creepy door one last time as he left the place. He needs to focus on cheery for his friends.

So sorry since I didn't upload a new chapter, because I'm too lazy, to be honest. But! I try my best to continue on this story of Leo Sparkle.
