At Sweet Apple Acres, Applejack was working hard to the grindstone bucking the apples off their apple trees. She had already made her rounds during Applebuck season, so performing this task was no difficult. She had already made it with the apples arriving in the baskets.

She was down the the last tree. She arrived to it, and measured the trajectory to the Apple bucking, and got her legs ready to kick the tree. “Almost there...” the farm mare thought to herself as she got into position for bucking. All of a sudden, she lost her balance as she felt a kick in her tummy, making her fall to the ground on her belly.

Applejack got back up and wondered what kicked her belly. She got in position again, only this time a shot of pain rushed though her as she lost her balance again and held her tummy in pain. Every shot was like an arrow to the gut.

Applebloom came outside to enjoy a great day, when suddenly she saw her big sister writhing on the ground in pain. She realized what this was. “AJ!!!” Applebloom shouted as she rushed over to her sister. “Applejack! What’s wrong?” She asked. “Do ya have hunger pangs? A stomachache? What?”

“Oh, nothin much, Applebloom.” Applejack said, trying to hide her pain. “I’m just feeling a little off balance.” Just let me get back up there and get to bu—OooooooHhhhhh!” She groaned a little louder in pain as she fell to the ground, grasping her tummy to soothe the pain.

“Oh mah gosh!” Applebloom said. “Applejack! Your water broke!” She shook her sister to see if she was okay! “Come on, Sis! Snap out of it! I’m the one that helped you realize y’all were pregnant!” She put her ear to her lungs to make sure she was breathing. Sure enough, she was. “She’s still breathing. Phew.” She thought out loud. “Ah guess the next logical step is...”

She quickly let her sister drop to the ground and realized what she had to do. “BIG MAC! SUGAR BELLE! GRANNY!” She hollered. And just like that, the rest of the Apples got there in a hurry.

“What’s goin on, Applebloom?” Granny Smith asked.

“Mah sister’s goin into labor!” Applebloom said with worry in her voice. “We gotta get her to the hospital!”

This threw the apples for a huge loop and were shocked at this. “Well, then! There’s no use dawdling! We gotta get our caboose over there and help Applejack!” Granny Smith said in shock and alarm.

“Eeyup!” Big Mac agreed as he picked her up, with Applebloom helping him.

“Let’s go!” Sugar Belle said as they all raced to the hospital. They made it inside and just in time too, since the nurse was just about to ask for another patient.

“Doctor!” Applebloom said in alarm. “You gotta help us! Mah sister’s having a baby!”

“Well, I’ll be!” The nurse said in excitement! “You’re just in luck! I was just about to take another patient in! Who’s the father?”

“I’d rather not say yet.” Applebloom quickly lied. Nevertheless, the nurse bought the excuse.

“Well then, I’ll bring her in the operating room for delivery.” The nurse said, wheeling Applebloom’s big sister away. “You can wait for a little bit until we call you up to come in.”

As they saw Applejack get wheeled to the hospital, they felt like there was nothing else they could do, but wait. “Well, Ah guess that’s that.” Applebloom said as she and her family went and sat down on the lobby chairs.

A few minutes later, Applebloom’s best friends, Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle came in. “Applebloom!” They shouted in excitement.

“How’s Applejack doing?” Sweetie Belle asked.

The farm filly sighted. “Her water just broke and now, she’s in the operatin room for her delivery.” She said. Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle both gasped at that.

“So, Big Mac’s gonna be a dad, huh?” Scootaloo asked, nudging Big Mac while grinning at him.

Big Mac blushed as he said. “Eeyup.”

“I’m so really glad you could come here and check up on Applebloom.” Sugar Belle told them. “She’s a little worried...we all are...about how Applejack’s birthing would be.”

“That IS something to be worried about.” Scootaloo said.

“Darn tootin!” Granny Smith said in agreement. “I’d say, Applebloom here is nervous than a cricket on cider season. Ain’t that right, little feller?” She ruffled her mane as she said that.

“Ah guess Ah am.” Applebloom admitted, still feeling nervous.

“Whatever happens, Apple Bloom, we'll all be there for you.” Scootaloo said reassuringly to her friend.

“Totally. Even though it could change everything for you, AND your family forever and ever!“ Sweetie Belle said, which made Applebloom a little more nervous.

“Not helping!” Scootaloo said, pointing at her friend’s nervous state. Sweetie Belle blushed.

Just then, the doors opened as the nurse came out. “You all can come see her now.” She said. The Apples and CMCs were feeling nervous as their blood ran cold. This was the moment of truth for Applejack and her kid.

Granny Smith took in a deep breath and looked at her family. “There’s no turning back now.” She said to them as they all nodded in agreement. There was no turning back for any of them OR Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle.

They all went one by one inside the delivery room and saw Applejack with her eyes closed, and breathing really hard. They had shared a look of concern for their family member.

Applebloom took a look at the monitor and saw that it was beeping. “Is she going to be okay, Doctor?” She asked worriedly.

“She’s going to be fine.” The nurse said. “All she needs to do is push! And all you need to do is hope she does really well.”

Applebloom was worried and Granny Smith, Big Mac, Sugar Belle, and Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle could tell by looking at her. Granny Smith took Applebloom into her arms and she, Big Mac, and Sugar Belle pulled her in for a strong, loving, embracing hug. They all smiled at Applebloom because no matter what happened, they would be there for her.

“It’s alright, Applebloom.” Sugar Belle said softly. “We’re all here for you.” She kissed her on the cheek.

“Applejack’s gonna be alright.” Granny Smith said softly and kind to her granddaughter. “Ah can feel it in mah bones.”

“Eeyup.” Big Mac agreed as well. “No matter what happens, we’re all here for you.” They all hugged as tears of worry and happiness came out of their eyes.

Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle held each other tightly too, feeling worried as well. Applejack was still breathing and her eyes were shut. It looked like Applejack would remain in a deep sleep, breathing for her child to come out. But then, Scootaloo came up with a devilish idea as she grinned deviously. It had to work!

She noticed one of the riddle apples that Spike and Discord planted in the hospital and picked it. She gasped in excitement as she swung it in front of Applejack’s belly. The rest of the Apples were a little confused by all this.

Sweetie Belle groaned. “Ugh!” She said. “You getting an Apple? At a time like this?!” She was not happy, thinking that her friend was pranking. She took the Apple from Scootaloo using her magic. “Give me that!” She said as she threw it on the floor.

However this would turn out be something Sweetie Belle shouldn’t have done. Because at that moment, the baby started to push from Applejack’s belly RIGHT out of it! Applebloom and her family took notice, as did The CMCs, and Applejack who just woke up from that push, and they all screamed! First, the Apples, then Sweetie Belle, then the nurse, then Applejack, then Scootaloo as they saw that push led to her being out of Applejack’s belly! At last, Scootaloo’s trick worked! Applejack finally had her baby come out.

Scootaloo took notice and caught the baby quick before it could hit a wall. She gave the baby to Applejack who was smiling as she took the baby in her arms. “And, I’m gonna go wash my hands.” Scootaloo said after seeing that her hands were cover in baby slobber after catching it.

“Well, at least we know it’s a girl.” Sweetie Belle said. She was right. It appeared to be a girl. Her coat was a brighter red than Big Mac, and her mane and tail were a little similar to Applejack and Applebloom’s. And her hooves were like Big Mac’s as well.

“She’s right,” the nurse said. “It’s a girl! What would you like to name her?”

Applebloom and her family looked at the babies and smiled with delight. The farm filly spoke up. “Ah think she’s the cutest Apple Ah ever saw.” Applebloom said as she teared up with joy.

“I agree that they’re cute, Applebloom!” Sweetie Belle said as she saw the baby. “I really can’t wait to spend some time with her.”

“She’s so adorable!” Sugar Belle said. “I’m so excited to play with her.”

“Awwwwww...” Granny Smith said happily. “Ah think they’re so cute as well!”

“Eeyup.” Big Mac said as he saw the new baby. “She’s our daughter, Applejack.”

Just then, Scootaloo came in after washing her hands. “Sorry, I’m late. I just wanted to—“. She said as she saw how cute the new baby was. She smiled upon seeing Applejack’s daughter for the first time! “Oh my! What a beautiful baby.” She said sweetly. “Normally, I’m afraid of cuteness overload, but this one’s special.” She smiled and looked at her. “I’m such a sentimental slob.” They all shared a little giggle with her remark.

“Ah agree with each and every one of you.” Applejack said as she held her baby and smiled.

“What would like to name her, Applebloom?” Scootaloo asked.

Applebloom, Sugar Belle, Granny Smith, and Big Mac all looked at each other and nodded. “Y’know, we never had a kid named Appleseed.” Applebloom said. “Ah think that’s a great name. Don’t you agree?”

“I agree, Applebloom.” Sugar Belle said. “That really is a great name for this new cutie.”

“Ah think you picked the right name, Youngin.” Granny Smith said to her, smiling. “We never had any pony named Appleseed, and I think this is a great place to start with that.”

“Eeyup.” Big Mac said as he came over to Applejack.

“Us too!” Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle said in unison.

Applejack looked at her daughter and smiled with pure joy. Her family too. “Our daughter.” She said happily.

“And Mah little sister.” Applebloom said.

“Hey, you’re right!” Applejack said to her. “You’re a big sister now to her!”

Appleseed finally spoke. “Howdy, y’all.” She said.

Everyone gasped with excitement. “Her first word!” Sugar Belle said in excitement with the others cheering in agreement with her.

“I think Appleseed will be a great addition to the Apple Family!” Scootaloo said while Sweetie Belle nodded in approval, as she looked at her and smiled very sweetly.

“Ah think so too!” Applejack said as she saw her daughter smile at her and she smiled back.

“She definitely will.” Granny Smith said as she and the Apples and CMCs both huddled around her.

“Eeyup.” Big Mac agreed as they all embraced one another in this tender, heartwarming moment.

Appleseed, The new member of the Apple family was not only Applejack’s daughter, but also Applebloom’s little sister as well! And they would have some new memories to share as they played and spent some quality time with they newest member.

Appleseed would have a great time as she was welcomed into the most loving, hard working and down to country family in Sweet Apple Acres in Ponyville.

And that’s all for Applejack’s daughter! That was a long chapter, but i made it work with putting in Applejack and her family’s reactions to the baby being born, and the CMCs reactions too! The Apples now have a new addition to the family. However, one more baby still needs to be born. Who will it be, and what will the next baby look like? And more importantly, how will Twilight and her friends and family react to it? (SPOILER ALERT!) You’ll just have to wait and see what happens in the thrilling conclusion in “The New Bundles of Joy”!
