Prologue

There I am, the Eighteen year old kid with brown hair playing the PS3 at home, a typical Wednesday night But tonight I felt like trying something new so I decided to head into my room where I kept most of my stuff and I searched around for a good movie to watch or a game I haven’t played in years, I grab my portable Hard drive out of my bag and head back into the lounge room and plug it into my PS3.
‘Alright what is on here?’
I open up my hard drive on my PS3 to reveal or the folders contained on it, I skimmed through a folder labelled Bleach an Japanese Anime I had grown to love of the last couple of weeks
‘Where was I up to again?’ I think to myself trying carefully to remember, ‘What one was it’
‘Ugh…I think I was up to Episode 256’ I think finally coming to a conclusion
I hold down the analog stick until I reach episode 245 and finally realise I am missing every episode after that
‘I knew there was something I was meaning to download’ I yell, ‘I guess I have to watch something else’
I exit the Bleach folder and continue to look for another folder containing some sort of entertainment.
I finally stumble upon a folder labelled MLP and feel as like I had a sudden urge to watch it.
My good friend Jonny always wanted me to watch it and he has told me good things about it. I can’t say I blame him the show does have its good point’s especially music wise, so far the only thing I liked about the show was all the fan based music that many artists have created.
At least a good thing about living on your own is you do whatever you want, no parents to walk in on me watching MLP.
‘Alright let’s see what this show is like’ I think to myself before switching the TV on.
I flick through the episode list until I pick a random one.
‘Alright Sonic Rainboom it is’
I sit around watching the episode thinking that this show is alright,
‘I guess another episode won’t hurt’ I say playing the episode called green isn’t your colour
After the second episode finished I began to watch every single episode of season one.
I had just finished watching season one of MLP and the phone began to ring
“Hello” I answer
“Hey Danny”
“Yo Jonny…how’s it going”
“Pretty good...you?”
“Yeah im good…What you up to?”
“Not much bored shitless at home right now…Mum isn’t letting me use the t.v at the moment” grunts Jonny
“That’s gotta suck…well at least I can use my T.V whenever I want know” I laugh
“yeah I guess moving out of your folks home was a good thing?”
“You bet…It allowed me to watch Season 1 of MLP today” I say with a smile waiting for Jonny’s reaction
“Oh god…You finally watched it how was it” Says Jonny jumping for joy
“It was awesome” I say with the same cheerful grin
“I told you didn’t I…I told you that you would love it” boasts Jonny
“Yeah…But what you gonna do” I laugh
“So who’s your Favourite Character?”
“I really like Rainbow Dash…She’s really awesome especially how she does the sonic Rainboom and her tomboy attitude”
“Yeah she is pretty cool…but she doesn’t beat Twilight…She’s the best pony ever”
Jonny was really obsessed with Twilight he has always loved her throughout the show… he always is talking about her and her magical abilities and pretty much how awesome she was in general
“Yeah im not going to argue with that... cause I still remember last time I said that some other pony was better that he told me about”
Jonny and I talked about MLP for hours until we decided to call the quits
“Hey Jonny…Im going to go to bed”
“Yeah same here Danny im bloody tired”
“Catch ya later”
“Bye” Jonny says before hanging up
I place the phone back on its dock and begin to walk off towards my room. I felt so tired that my vision began to blur and I couldn’t help but stumble around my lounge room knocking over a vase my girlfriend had bought me so that the house would look nicer than the dump it usually did, I began to feel dizzy as I came closer towards my room
‘Ugh’ I say nauseously
I fall onto my knees as I feel a sharp pain swirling around in my stomach…it felt as if I was going to spew up…I struggled to get back on my feet but as soon as I did I noticed a strange blue light that looked as if it was some sort of portal from across my room and the next thing I knew a bright light shun in my face and everything around me fade to black….
