Myau walked to get some fresh air. “Ahhhh nice fresh air.” Walking around she made herself a bowl of ramen and finished it before later thinking to herself what she wanted to do. “What to do I know maybe I can chat with Kira.” With that the Changeling flew and looked for her best friend finding her near the hive entrance.
“Hey morning sweetie.” Smiled Kira.
“Hey Kira, any news today from Ponyville?” Asked Myau.
“No which kind of scares me, usually we get messages to Thorax from Ponyville all the time.” Said a concerned Kira. Usually everyday Derpy (or Cupcake whichever name) would usually drop (or crash in most cases) by but their was no sign.
“I guess your right usually Derpy would be here. I wonder what’s up?”
Suddenly a familiar grey pony crashed to the ground a bloody mess with a spear stuck in her leg and a black eye. “Help...need help.” Cried Derpy. “I managed.....to escape but i don’t know if they followed me or not.”
Noticing the state of the pony both helped her up and helped her inside the hive. Changelings were looking at them wondering what happened and why a pony was beat up.
“THORAX WE NEED HELP!” shouted Kira holding Derpy in her arms.
Thorax was pondering with Pharynx before both turned around hearing the shouting. What is.....what happened?” exclaimed a shocked Thorax.
Derpy managed to say one last thing before losing consciousness. “Ponyville and Canterlot.....attacked.....”
Thorax then looked at Derpy, he didn’t like violence but he didn’t like seeing his friends hurt before making a announcement. “All changelings go on full alert.” Said Thorax. “Kira, tend to Derpy me and my brother will head to Ponyville to see what happened.” The two brothers toke off, however this would be a big mistake.
Kira nodded before carrying Derpy to the medical bay.
Myau decided to help Derpy with Kira. “Derpy who did this to you, Derpy? Myau decided to feel her pulse, it was getting weak. “Kira she’s going into shock we need to...” Then she noticed Derpy stop breathing. “Derpy....”
Kira looked at derpy noticing blood dripping from her mouth causing her to gag abit. “I’m sorry Myau.....she’s gone.”
Myau was saddened and conflicted, who would harm such a kind and lovable pony like Derpy.
All of a sudden a loud boom was heard causing the ground to shake.
“What was that?” Asked Myau quickly looking outside only to see a horrible sight, it was caribou but the worse part was what she saw was that Thorax and his brother were captured, how did this happen.
“GUARDS BLOCK THE ENTRANCE!” Shouted Kira. The guards did just that holding their spears in ready.
One of the caribou grabbed a horn “This is Dainn, we have conquered Canterlot and Ponyville and your two leaders, join us or be slaughtered.” Said Dainn.
“We will never submit to you we would die for the ponies you have hurt. Kira said with anger.
Dainn then dropped the horn and looked at his officer. “So be it then, you know what to do break it down.” The caribou then charged up the ram before it was released breaking the gate piece by piece.
“You’ll never get away with this, Twilight and the others will save us both.” Said a scared Thorax.
The caribou laughed at him. “Them maybe but you two.....your dead already.” Said Dainn before snapping both brothers necks, this caused a reaction in the changelings before the gate broke and the caribou charged in. The battle was tough but their were to many caribou and many changelings either fled or were captured.
Myau managed to get away but noticed Kira was caught and hid in a tree. “No this can’t be happening.”
The Caribou leader Dainn issued a order to hunt the changelings who managed to escape while captured were either killed or raped.
“Nooo, stop please I beg you stop.” Cried Kira as she was slit was rammed over and over.
“Hahaha your precious elements are in hiding Equestria has fallen and I got a tight hole that need to be filled.”
“No not that no.” Screamed Kira before noticing Myau in a tree. Sobbing and thankful she got away with her eyes easily sending a message. “Please find help and save us.”
Myau stares back knowing all was lost but she made a promise to come and save them, save her best friend, she would make them pay she flew off.
As Myau flew away she sobbed with guilt she fleD like a coward and couldn’t do anything to stop it but then she realized her daydreaming caused her to hit a branch from a tree and caused her to crash as she fell unconscious.
5 minutes later
Waking up, Myau noticed she must of been so upset she didn’t see where she was flying she was alone and scared. “Kira, Derpy, Thorax I promise I’ll avenge you all.” Cried Myau. As she continued to walk she came upon what seemed to be a monastery of some sort. “What is this place?”
“It’s the monastery of the samurai of the myre, young one.” Said a figure that seemed to be clad in what seemed to be wooden armor. “Now why are you here?” Said the armored figure.
“My home was attacked by caribou and it left in ruins I got nowhere to go.” Said Myau sadly.
The warrior looked at her, he saw potential in her. “Then I think it is time you take up arms and avenge those you cared about.” The figure then handed Myau clothe-like armor with a mask.
“These shall be your new clothes.”
“What are theses?” Myau asked, putting on the closes but not the mask.
“They are the clothes of female warriors known as Nobushi, female warriors who protected villages and innocents far from home.”
“I’m guessing I’ll need to train, but with what?” Myau then noticed a staff with a sharp edge and spun it around her before marking many thrusting motions and breathed slowly.
“You are ready, that weapon is the naginata, it is what those warriors used but it seems you are more ready then you think so I bid farewell.” And with that he vanished in thin air like a spirit.
Myau was now filled with determination and duty, no longer would she be scared and cowardly, she would honor her family, her hive, her best friend. And so Myau the Nobushi was born and she would defend the weak and bring a end to this charade, but little did she know a black-armored figure was spying on her.
“It indeed has begun, begun has a age of wolves.”
