Chapter 1: A Whole New World to Crusade...
(Jacob's Point of View)
The next day, I woke up. For some weird reason, I dreamt that the Cutie Mark Crusaders, in human form, ended up on the doorstep of me and my mom. I'm sure it was nothing. I just got out of bed, got dressed, grabbed my satchel bag, and headed through the laundry room and headed for the kitchen. When I was about to grab a blueberry muffin, I heard the sound of quiet snoring.
I looked over towards the living room, and saw... the four girls from last night. The Cutie Mark Crusaders, humanized, and sleeping on our couch. I saw my mom quietly walking towards me, looking at the four sleeping girls on the couch.
"So, what happened last night really happened?" Mom asked.
"Yep," I said. "I thought it was a dream last night. Guess I was wrong."
"Yeah," said Mom. "Well, you should get ready to go. The school bus will be here soon. I'll watch over these four."
"Okay," I said. "Thanks mom." I then headed out. Hopefully, I'll have a good, last day of school this year.
(Third Person Point of View)
Kathy just stayed in the house to watch over the four ponies turned human on her couch. Good thing she didn't have to go to work today. She requests that whenever Jacob is on break from school or sick, she would be able to work from home.
Kathy heard some light groaning coming from the couch. She looked at which of the girls was making that groan. It was Nyx was who waking up. She was using her arm to rub her eyes. She looked over and saw her friends still asleep. Then she remembered she turned into a human. She then grabbed her glasses, and put them on. The enchantment then made her eyes look normal. She then yawned.
Kathy then walked over to Nyx and put her right hand on Nyx's left shoulder. Nyx looked up at her and Kathy asked, "Did you sleep well?"
"Y-yes," Nyx said. She was a little bit upset.
"Is something wrong?" Kathy asked.
"Well... I'm just... a little freaked out at the moment..." Nyx said. "I just... I just don't know how I'll be able to get home."
"I'm sure everything will be fine," Kathy said.
Nyx then looked around, seeing that Jacob wasn't around. "Um... Where's that boy... that was here last night?"
"Oh, Jacob went to school," said Kathy. "It's his last day of summer before summer vacation."
"Jacob? Is that his name?" asked Nyx.
"Yes," said Kathy. "My name is Katherine Malcolm, but I usually go by Kathy."
"Okay," said Nyx. "Kathy, can I ask you something?"
"Go ahead, dear," said Kathy.
"Do you want us to leave later today?" Nyx asked.
"No, you girls don't have to," said Kathy. "Besides, you four don't know how this world works. So, I believe that you should stay with us until you girls find a way home."
"I hope so," said Nyx. "I just hope that I can get home to Twilight."
"Well," Kathy said. "I'll just have to get you used to the place. I'm going to have to get you all some beds of your own, and some clothes. I have to go pick up Jacob at school at noon. We'll go shopping after we pick him up. Then we'll go by a furniture store and pick up a couple bunk beds and some drawers for your clothes."
"Why do we need clothes?" Nyx asked. "All I usually wear is this vest. I don't know where these other clothes came from."
"Humans don't have clothes to keep them warm," Kathy said. "Also, there is a law that humans must where clothes to keep their private parts covered. For girls, their chest and crotch area. For boys, usually just their crotch area."
"And anything else?" Nyx asked.
"Humans also have underwear to keep their private areas from chafing," said Kathy. "Now, how about I make you kids some breakfast? You girls like eggs?"
(Jacob's Point of View)
The final bell rang, and everyone in my school was heading out. I grabbed my shoulder bag and headed towards the pickup area for my mom to pick me up. But as I was on my way there, the back of my shirt was grabbed, and then I was pinned to a wall.
The guy who pinned me was none other than the school bully. He had short, dark brown hair, wearing a black shirt with a white skull, black jeans and white shoes. He then asked, "Where's my money, Jacob?"
"I don't owe you anything," I said, trying to get out of his pin.
"You do," said the bully. "You owe me three dollars and twenty-five cents every day since the beginning of school, and not once have you paid off. So, you owe me a total of $700, and I want it now."
"Your math is off, Marion Devon," came the voice of Principal Wilkinson as she was standing right behind him. Marion let me go, and turned towards her. "You may go, Jacob. Go on home. And as for you, you aren't allowed to force kids to give up lunch money. And, there are a total of 180 school days, and 180 time three point two five is 585."
I didn't hear anymore. I was already out the door and in the pick up area was my mom's car. I ran over towards it. I opened the door and inside, weren't just my mom, but the Cutie Mark Crusaders as well.
"Hi, honey. How was school today?" asked Mom.
"Pretty good," I said. "Why are they here?"
"Well, we're going to have to do some clothes shopping for these four, and of course get them some furniture," said Mom. "I gave them the run down on how things work. Although, they are going to need a lot more to know during the time. We're going to help out with that."
"Oh, okay," I said. "So, where are we going first?"
"First, we'll head to the mall," said Mom.
"What's a mall?" asked Sweetie Belle.
"It's a huge building with a lot of stores inside," said Mom. "It also has a food court."
"Sounds like a huge, everyday market day like back in Ponyville," said Apple Bloom.
"Well," said Mom. "Kinda. But, it's all under one roof. Let's get going."
As soon as we got to the mall, we had to start off by getting lunch first. We went to the Cheesecake Factory. We got seated at a rounded booth. Mom said that most humans ate meat, making the girls a little nervous. But then I let them in on something. When I was a baby, I was diagnosed with an inability to consume meat, making me an lacto-ovo vegetarian. The doctors couldn't believe it either, but I was lucky to still be alive without eating any meat.
Mom said that the girls don't have to eat meat, so the five of us got grilled cheese sandwiches while mom got herself some fish and chips. We ate up, and the girls seemed to enjoy the grilled cheese. After that, we went to the Ross that was near the mall to get some clothes for the girls to wear. It took us a while for the girls to get some clothes, and then we loaded them up into the car.
Then we left to get to the Swedish Furniture Store, IKEA. We first got a small piece of paper of what to get and what the code number for that piece of furniture was. We got the code numbers for two white MALM drawers. Then we got the codes for two TUFFING bunk bed frames. When we got them, it seems that Apple Bloom somehow was the one to load them onto the cart. I guess her time working at Sweet Apple Acres has given her advantages.
When we went to the cashier, we asked for these four pieces of furniture to be delivered at our house. They said it would take about an hour to get them to our address. So, we got home, and got the clothes into the house. Mom said she was going to go to the nearest mattress store to get some mattresses for the bunk beds. She would be gone for about an hour and get some Subway Sandwiches. She said if the IKEA delivery guys show up, she said to take the furniture to the room on the other side of the hall across from her room.
Mom also said that maybe I should show the girls about how I already know them. So, I turned on Netflix. Before I started the show, I had to ask them one thing. "Girls. Before I start this, I have a question. Before Nyx showed up, what was the last adventure that Twilight Sparkle and her friends had?"
They thought about it, and then Sweetie Belle answered, "Oh. I remember. My sister told me that she and her friends had saved an amazing place called the Crystal Empire from an evil unicorn stallion made of shadows and fear."
"Wait a second," said Scootaloo. "How did you know what the name of one of their sister's..." pointing two fingers, one at Apple Bloom and one at Sweetie Belle, "friend."
"This will explain it all," I said. I showed the series, My Little Pony, Friendship is Magic on Netflix.
"My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic?" Nyx asked. "What is that?"
"It's... a TV show that's... possibly based on adventures that Twilight and her friends have," I said. "It basically showed all of the adventures that Twilight and her friends had. Starting off... at the Summer Sun Celebration when Nightmare Moon escaped her imprisonment." That made the four fillies gasp. "But... I have a theory. I have a feeling that not everything on the show is accurate to what you went through." I also put in one more detail. "The show has a total of nine seasons. The episode where the Crystal Empire returned was the season 3 one hour premier. So, we'll stop after that."
"Question," said Apple Bloom. "Do we eventually get our Cutie Marks?"
"Yes, you do," I said. "But that is in Season 5. But, I gotta say something else."
"And that is?" asked Scootaloo.
"Nyx's story wasn't really in the series," I said. "Her story was basically a story from a fan called a fan fiction. The name of that fan fiction is called "Past Sins" by a fan fic writer that goes by Pen Stroke. Basically, after that story, Nyx became one of the most favorite fictional fan character to all of those who are a fan of My Little Pony."
"Cool!" said Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo. Then they looked over at Nyx.
"Why is she so popular with the fans?" asked Apple Bloom.
I then looked over at Nyx and asked, "Do you wanna tell them or should I?"
"How about... you start it off... and I'll show them?" Nyx asked, nervously.
"Okay," I said. I then looked at the other three Crusaders and asked, "Remember that cult that ponynapped Twilight that one night and took her to the Everfree Forest?" That question was answered by a nod from Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo.
"What does that have to do with Nyx?" asked Sweetie Belle.
"Well, the cult that ponynapped Twilight said that they were... servants of Nightmare Moon," I said.
"But Nightmare Moon is gone!" said Apple Bloom. "No. Princess Luna is Nightmare Moon. There can't be a Nightmare Moon without Princess Luna."
"Well, the cult actually tried giving Nightmare Moon a body of her own," I said. "They used the shreds that were peeled off of Princess Luna, a lot of unicorn magic, and even a small drop of blood from Twilight Sparkle to give Nightmare Moon a body of her own."
"Why would ponies do that?" asked Scootaloo. "Why are they appreciating Nightmare Moon?"
"It wasn't their fault," I said. "Their minds were corrupted by the darkness from the shreds of Nightmare Moon. The first pony infected started spreading the darkness across certain ponies. Anyway, they were able to start the ritual, but then it was interrupted when Princess Celestia and her royal guards showed up. The cult, or how they called themselves, the Children of Nightmare, tried fighting off, but three dozen of them got arrested. The remaining cult members got away."
"So, the ritual was stopped?" asked Sweetie Belle.
"The ritual wasn't a complete success. Nor was it a complete failure," I said.
"What do you mean?" asked Apple Bloom. "What happened?"
I then looked into their eyes and said, "Nyx's wings aren't the only things she was hiding." I then looked over at Nyx and nodded my head. She then nodded her head, closed her eyes, and took off her glasses. "When I count to three, open your eyes. Ready?" Nyx nodded. "One... two... three." Then Nyx opened her eyes, revealing her real eyes to Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo, who had their jaws dropped.
"Those... those eyes..." said Apple Bloom.
"They're like those eyes she had during the play," said Scootaloo. "How is that possible?"
"Nyx's eye sight was perfectly fine without glasses," I said.
"Twilight put an enchantment on these glasses to make my eyes look like any other pony's eyes," said Nyx. "It turns out... I was created from that exact spell those evil ponies casted. The night after the play... I thought I actually was Nightmare Moon."
"Wait a minute, of course!" said Scootaloo. "A black coat. Dragon-like eyes. She's a pony that has both wings and a horn. All of those were the same as Nightmare Moon."
"But what about the mane color, or her Cutie Mark?" asked Sweetie Belle. "That doesn't make any sense. Why isn't her mane blue and moving and she should've had her Cutie Mark."
"Because Nyx's Cutie Mark is an entirely different one than Nightmare Moon and Luna's Cutie Mark," I said. "Although, she gets her mark before you three do."
"Really?" asked Scootaloo. "What is it?"
"Uh uh uh," I said. "No spoilers. You shouldn't know so much about your future, or else it would lead to ultimate consequences. But we should stop bad future events from happening."
"Good call," said Apple Bloom. "Like what?"
"Well, I guess someone did stop the cult from getting Nyx," I said. "They would've made her Nightmare Moon. On the night that your summer vacation started."
"Whoa..." said Scootaloo. "I guess somepony did. Now we have to focus on not just finding our marks, or finding a way home, but also keeping Nyx away from that cult."
"Exactly," I said. "Also... if you girls are gonna stay here, you're going to need different names. Your names aren't really common names in this world."
"I guess if we're going to have to fit in here, we are going to have to have different names," said Sweetie Belle. "Just until we get back home."
"Can we figure that out later?" asked Scootaloo.
"Yeah," said Apple Bloom. "Start the show already."
Then I started the first episode of the show.
Mom just got back an hour after I started showing the girls the pilot episode of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. According to the show, Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo were cowering together when Nightmare Moon revealed herself. But to them here, Apple Bloom was with only her friend, Twist.
Mom got us some Subway Sandwiches. We started eating the sandwiches and made the bunk beds in the one bedroom that was on the other side of the hall from Mom's bedroom. It wasn't that hard getting the bunk beds finished, but the drawers were. Mom said she would start the girl's laundry tomorrow while I show the girls the rest of the show, just up until the Crystal Empire episode.
"Alright, girls," said Mom, after leaving the room, "I want you to get into your beds. You all have to be well rested."
"Yes, Kathy!" said the four crusaders.
We had the two bunk beds set across from the bathroom door in their room. One bed on the wall from the left side of the door, and one right by the door, but 90 degrees to the right than the one on the other wall. We also had the drawers under the window. As for which Crusader gets which bunk, Apple Bloom and Scootaloo took the bunks that were left of the bathroom. Apple Bloom took the bottom bunk and Scootaloo took top bunk. Sweetie Belle offered the top bunk for Nyx, but Nyx would want to keep her glasses close to her whenever they have a rush morning start. Good thing the mattress store gave mom bed sheets to go with the mattresses.
Mom turned off the lights and closed the door. I said to her, "Mom. I think we should give them cover names whenever they meet someone new when they're here."
"Oh, that's a good call," said Mom. "Their names aren't very common names here. So, what do you think their names should be."
I thought about it hard. Perhaps we should give them names that were close to their own names, but it's gonna be hard to figure that out. I then said, "Maybe we should discuss this in the morning."
"Good idea, sweetheart," Mom said, kissing my forehead. "Now, you should go to bed. It's way past your bedtime."
I nodded and headed off to my room. "Good night, Mom," I said on my way to my room.
"Good night, Jacob," Mom said. Hopefully, we would discuss the situation in the morning.

Well, for the next couple of days, I showed the Crusaders all of the episodes of the show up to the Crystal Empire. And of course, there were a lot more things in the show that never happened then I assumed. For example, the appearance that Luna looked in the pilot episode after she came back, she's been like that since then and not the appearance she was like in Luna Eclipsed. And then I showed the girls the Past Sins story. On Canterlot Comics, there was a comic of Past Sins. And on YouTube, there's a user who goes by Nimbus Productions, and he and some other people read Past Sins from the Prelude to Chapter 12. I wonder why they stopped doing that story.
Anyway, during Chapter Four, when Twilight told Scootaloo that her mom had got to be worried why she wasn't home, and Scootaloo said that her parents were gonna flip, Apple Bloom said, "Scootaloo didn't say that."
"She didn't?" I asked. "Well what did she say?"
"She said, and I quote," Sweetie Belle said, "'Uh... uh... yeah. I... should probably get home.' Then she just ran out the door, heading off somewhere."
We then looked at Scootaloo, and I asked, "Scootaloo? Is there something you aren't telling us?"
Scootaloo was blushing, trying to keep in something. But then she started shedding a few tears. She then sighed and said, "Okay. I'll tell you. Just... just promise me that you'll keep it a secret."
"Cross My Heart, Hope to Fly, Stick a Cupcake in my Eye," said Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle.
"We'll keep it a secret for as long as you want," said Nyx.
Scootaloo then sighed and said, "Okay. Here it is. When I was four years old... my parents died." That made me, the other three crusaders, and my mom gasp. "My mom and dad traveled across Equestria, studying exotic plants and creatures. Especially herding them for safety of other ponies." She then sighed. "Then one day, they were... killed. By an unexpected cragadile. I was distraught from what happened. I was to stay with my aunts, Lofty and Holiday. A year and a half later, aunt Lofty passed away. A month later, Holiday died as well."
"Where did they live?" I asked.
"They lived in a small house in Canterlot," said Scootaloo. "After that, I was sent to an orphanage. An orphanage that was run by an extremely cold hearted mare named Cinch."
"Abacus Cinch?" I asked.
"Y-yeah," said Scootaloo. "How did you know that?"
"She... sorta made an appearance in this show's franchise," I said. "Was she... mean, didn't want anyone to be anything but what she wants them to be, and threatens those who disobey her?"
"Yes!" Scootaloo nearly shouted. "Sorry. I just don't want to remember those awful memories. I've been there for almost two years. I grabbed my scooter, which was the last present I got from my mom and dad, ran away from there when I got the chance. I got on a random train and ended up in Ponyville."
"Was there anypony there to take care of you?" asked Apple Bloom. "Somepony should've been taking care of you."
"There was," said Scootaloo. "Mayor Mare found me and when I told her about what happened, she allowed me to stay in the guest room of her house. She promised me that she wouldn't tell anypony."
"Well," said my mom, "I don't blame you for running away from the orphanage. But you had the right to run from that awful lady that owns that orphanage. If she treated orphan foals that badly, she shouldn't be qualified to watch you, or any orphaned child."
"Yeah," said Scootaloo, still sad. "But, she shouldn't have treated me like that. And what about my mom and dad? Would they be ashamed of me for running away like that?"
"Your parents would've wanted you to be happy," said Mom. "They would understand why you ran away from that awful orphanage." Scootaloo smiled to what my mom said.
"Cooper!" I called out. Then Cooper came right on up. I then patted Scootaloo's left shoulder and said to him, "Give her some lovin'."
Then Cooper came up to Scootaloo, put his paws on her legs, and then started licking Scootaloo's face, making her laugh. "H-hey! St-stop it! That tickles!"
"Sometimes, all you need is a little love," said my mom. "Sometimes, all you need is help from those around you."
"And maybe you should ask Rainbow Dash to help take care of you," I said. "After all, you look up to her a lot. Like that fan club. She even knows how much you care for her. Surely, she would care for you whenever you were in trouble."
Then Cooper got off of Scootaloo, and she said, "Yeah. She did. When I almost went off that cliff, Rainbow Dash caught me before I landed in that cart full of cacti."
"Well, why didn't you fly?" asked my mom. "Weren't you a pegasus?"
"Scootaloo can't fly," I said. "Her wings aren't big enough."
Scootaloo looked towards me and asked, "Did I ever fly in the series?"
I shook my head, saying, "No. Well, only in your dreams. Literally."
"I guess that makes sense," said Scootaloo. "My wings are pretty small."
"I'm sure... that you'll find... a loving... family," my mom said to Scootaloo. She seemed to be sad for some reason. "Excuse me, I need to be alone right now."
Mom then walked into her room. I was worried about her. I got a little worried about her. Apple Bloom then asked, "Hey, can we... continue with the story until we're caught up?"
"Sure," I said. "But, just to let you know, in the series, Spoiled Rich didn't show up until season 5 on the same episode you three got your Cutie Marks. But Pen Stroke didn't know what her name was or who she looked like. So... well you'll see."
I then continued Nyx's story.
(Third Person Point of View)
Kathy walked into her bedroom, closed it, then locked it. Then she closed all the window blinds and closed the door to her bathroom that leads to another closet that was on the other side of the bathroom. She then walked into a small closet, and she went to a shoe holder, and pulled down a box in a shoe shelf. She then carried it over to her bed and sat on the edge. She then opened up the shoe box, and inside were pictures, and old junk that was special to her and a couple of her friends.
She picked up one picture of her and her two friends from her freshman year of High School. One girl was a blonde with red streaks, and she wore cowgirl hat with a white, button up shirt, giving her a cowgirl look. The other girl was of a teenage Lauren Faust. The two of them were posing for a picture. Then she remembered old memories from back then.
"Ya think we'll all stay best friends? " came the voice of a southern accent girl. "Ah sure love hangin' 'round with you two. "
"Don't sweat it, Penelope, " came the voice of a younger Lauren Faust. "Our friendship is very strong. No matter how far away we are, we'll always stay best friends. Our friendship is like magic. "
"I'm going to Florida, " came the voice of a younger Kathy Malcolm. "I heard it's a popular place to live in. "
"Ya mind if Ah stay close to ya? " came the southern girl's voice. "Ah could live in yer own neighborhood. If that's alright with ya. "
"Tell you what... " came Kathy's voice from her old memory. "If you're ever in trouble, or if you are in need a helping hand, you can come over to my place for as long as you want. "
"And hopefully, we'll stay best friends, " said Kathy's voice. Until she used her real words. "Forever."
Then she remembered another moment. A memory from about 20 years from before this time.
"Well, I guess this is it, " said Kathy in a memory.
"Miami, Florida, here we come, " said Penelope.
"Hey, maybe one of these days, we should get together, " came Lauren's voice. "Perhaps... one day, we'll reunite for one day and talk about what we've missed. "
"That's a promise, " came Penelope's voice. "See ya in 20 years. "
Then she remembered another old memory. One that happened almost ten years ago.
"Kathy, " came Lauren's voice in a phone. "I heard about what happened to Penelope. Are you okay with what happened? "
"I'll be fine, " came Kathy's voice from a memory. "I'm just a little upset that she's gone now. We've been best friends since we were eight years old. "
"What about the kid? " asked Lauren in the memory. "How's the kid doing? "
"I'm taking care of him, " said Kathy in the memory. "I'm doing my best to take care of him. "
"What about the boy's father? " asked Lauren in the memory. "I'm sure he's upset that he should help take care of his own son. "
"Richie didn't even want the kid, " said Kathy in the memory. "He wanted to have the kid aborted. No wonder their relationship didn't go so well. "
"I hope I'll get to meet Jacob one of these days, " said Lauren in the memory. "Talk to you later, Kathy. Hopefully, you'll raise the boy right. "
She then put the pictures back in the shoe box, and closed it up. She then looked towards the bedroom door, tears coming out of the corners of her eyes and said, "I am."
(Jacob's Point of View)
After we finished up chapter 9 of Past Sins, Mom got dinner ready. It was a spaghetti meal. Mom made it with a lot of vegetables for me and the girls to eat.
"Wow," said Apple Bloom. "Well, at least we were sent here before Princess Celestia got to take Nyx away."
"Yeah," said Nyx. "I don't wanna be like that ever. No way I'm going to let some sick minded ponies make me a wicked mare."
"No way we're gonna let something like that happen," said Sweetie Belle. "I'm sure that they'll be taken down before they come look for us."
"What are we going to do until then?" asked Scootaloo.
"Well, Summer just started," I said. "Although, I got to do something besides sit in front of the TV."
"I'm..." Mom said, but stopped to catch her breath. "I'm sure we'll find something for you all to do."
"I hope so," I said.
"Hey, Jacob," Apple Bloom said. "Did ya and yer mom come up with our cover names for when we're in this world?"
"Yeah, actually," said Mom. "In fact, all of your names would sound close to your names. Apple Bloom, we'll start with you, since you're the one who started this group."
"Understandable," said Apple Bloom.
"Apple Bloom, your cover name will be Barbara Apple," Mom said.
"Okay," Apple Bloom said.
"Sweetie Belle, we thought about this for the past two days," I said. "You're cover name is Susan Belle."
"I can go with that," said Sweetie Belle.
"Scootaloo," Mom said, "this was very difficult to find your cover name. We decided to give you the name Scarlet. And, I think we should give you the same last name as your mom."
"Scarlet Allgood," said Scootaloo. She then smiled. "Alright. I can live with that."
"And Nyx," I said, looking at her. "Your cover name will be Nicole Moon."
"I guess that's okay," Nyx said. "So, what are we going to do?"
"I'm sure we'll find something to do," said Sweetie Belle.
"Indeed," said Mom. "Now, with more mouths to feed, we're going to have to go grocery shopping. And I could use all your help to help get the stuff."
"We don't mind helpin' ya," said Apple Bloom. "It's just like mah granny says: it's a lot easier when ya have somepony to help."
I saw my mom smile. She then said, "You know, I had a friend who said the same thing. Except, it was her mom who told her, and we have a different lexicon."
"What's a Lexicon?" asked Apple Bloom.
"It's a way of speaking," said Nyx. "We might have to use human lexicon when surrounded by other humans."
"Okay," said Apple Bloom. "We'll try. But Ah doubt it'll be easy for us."
"You're all going to have to get used to this," said Mom. "Try not to worry too much. Now, who's in the mood for some homemade apple pie."
"Sounds good," said Sweetie Belle.
"Mind if I help with making the pie?" Apple Bloom asked.
"That depends," Mom said. "Did you really burn those cupcakes the day you formed the Cutie Mark Crusaders?"
"Hey! Ah got better with Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo and Nyx the last time we went for bakin' Cutie Marks!" Apple Bloom said. "Why wasn't that in the story?!"
"It was," I said. "It was basically a flashback from after the Children of Nightmare got Nyx."
"Oh, okay," said Scootaloo.
Mom and Apple Bloom then went to the kitchen counter, and started making some apple pie. I just hope that Mom would be able to teach Apple Bloom about keeping the desert from being burnt.

It was Father's Day. I always wondered about who my dad was. I asked Mom what my dad was like, but she always told me that I don't really need to know anything about my father. All I get from her was that he was dumped when I was just a few cells. Meaning my Mom dumped him when she was pregnant with me. She then walked into the garage, got out the lawnmower, and started mowing the front yard.
Apple Bloom thought about trying to get me to drop it, and have some fun. So, she suggested playing hide and seek. So, that's what we did. I was it, and I counted to sixty, to give the girls enough time to find a hiding spot. When I finally reached sixty, I called out, "Ready or not, here I come!" I then started searching all over the house.
I started searching the room next to the front door. I looked all over the room, until I saw that the door wasn't all the way opened. I then pulled the door from the wall, and behind the door was Scootaloo.
"Found you," I said.
"Wow," said Scootaloo. "Guess I shouldn't hide behind doors anymore."
"Head on to the couch and wait there until this game is over," I said. I then walked out of the room, Scootaloo following me, and then she headed to the couch. I then headed towards the kitchen. I then heard the sound of a box of cereal falling in the pantry. I looked in the pantry and saw Apple Bloom. "Found you."
"Aw, man," said Apple Bloom. "Ah thought Ah'd be the best hider."
"Join Scootaloo on the couch," I said. "I'm gonna keep on the search." I then headed for the hallway. I started searching the room the four girls all share. When I went into the room, I looked under the beds. Nothing. Then I looked in the closet. Nothing. Then I looked in the bathroom, coming in from the hallway entrance. I then looked behind and saw Sweetie Belle behind the toilet. "Found you."
"Who else did you find?" Sweetie Belle asked.
"Scootaloo and Apple Bloom," I said. "In that order."
"Well, as long as I'm in here, I should really go," said Sweetie Belle. "So, do you mind?"
"Sure," I said. "Wash your hands, then go to the couch when you're done." Sweetie Belle nodded, I left the bathroom, closed the door, and then I walked towards Mom's room. I looked all over the room. Then I went towards the closet. I thought I saw something in the closet. I stopped and saw Nyx, holding a shoe box, and looking inside it. "Nyx? What are you looking at?"
"I... I found this," said Nyx. "It seems to be some pictures of your mom when she was younger. And I also found this." Nyx pulled out a piece of paper, and handed it to me. It seemed to be my birth certificate. The birth certificate had my first name, but my last name was of a different name. Peel.
"What?" I then looked at the names of the parents. The father was named Richie Grayson. But the mother's name was Penelope Peel.
"I... also found this... underneath the birth certificate," said Nyx, handing me another piece of paper. "It seems to be an adoption form."
"Adoption?" I asked, confused. "I'm adopted?"
"'Due to the unexpected death of Penelope Peel,'" Nyx read the papers, "'the child she gave birth to has been given custody to the woman who helped her out when she was pregnant, Katherine Malcolm. Since the father was unable to accept responsibility and wanted to have Penelope abort the child, he does not deserve to even be a father and all custody of the child will go to Katherine Malcolm.'" She then looked over at me and asked, "Are you okay?"
"I... I don't even know anymore..." I said.
"You want me to get your... well... apparently adopted mother?" asked Nyx.
I nodded. I was hoping that this was some kind of bad dream.
Nyx told Mom, or who I thought after nine years was my real mom, came in and was sad when I found that box. She and I sat down at the table while the girls watched from the couch.
"For nine years, I was afraid of telling you," she said. "I was afraid that you would be upset about this secret. But, now that you are, I have no choice but to tell you the truth." She then pulled out a picture of her and some girl she was with when she was younger. "This was a picture of me and your mom in 1983. This picture was taken a week after I met her."
"Did her family move in where you were?" I asked.
"No," she answered. "Penelope was lost from her family. We were hoping that her family would come and get her, but after two years... they never came. She stayed with my for a while. She had a knack for making a bunch of apple sweets. Your mom was a very talented girl."
"What was she like?" I asked.
"She was... smart... funny... and hard working," she said. "She loved working hard, growing some apples, and she even cleaned my dad's car whenever it got dirty. You would've loved her. Her cowgirl hat, her southern accent, and and I tried making your mom's apple pie as best as I could."
"She does sound nice," I said.
"Penelope was. A couple years later, we met Lauren. In fact, when the first generation of the My Little Pony show came up, Lauren, Penelope and I got hooked onto it. In fact, it was Penelope who gave Lauren the design idea of all of the ponies in that one My Little Pony Show you like. Friendship is Magic."
"Wow," I said.
"Wow indeed," she said. "We became a trio of best friends. Then one day we all left for college. Lauren studied animation at the California Institute of the Arts, and your mom and I studied in Miami. We've been best friends, no matter how far away we were. When we graduated, I became a tech programmer, and Penelope worked at a fresh market, selling fruits. She farms a lot and delivers the produce to Freshfields Farms. I was there when she was delivering some produce until she met... your father. Richie."
"What was he like?" I asked.
"He was... strong, loyal, and he always helped out with anyone in need. When the two of them started dating, they were happy. But then one day... their relationship... collapsed."
"What happened?" I asked.
"You happened," she said. "When he found out that Penelope was pregnant, he accused her of sleeping with another man. She told him that he was the father. He got angry. He wanted her to abort you. But she couldn't do that. She then ended her relation with him."
"So, is that why you never wanted to talk about my dad?" I asked.
"Yes. He wasn't even wanting to help her through the pregnancy. She tried working through the pregnancy, but she was told to go home. But she needed her job so she could stay in her home. So, I let her stay with me. In the upstairs apartment."
"Wait," I said. "She lived upstairs?"
"Yes," she said. "I let her move upstairs. I took care of her, got her food, baby supplies, and I was there to help her if she was sick. But then... your day came. Her water broke, and I rushed her to the hospital. But when we got there, the doctors discovered something."
The Day Jacob was Born
(Third Person Point of View)
It was at the hospital. Penelope was in the maternity ward with a bunch of doctors, and Kathy. The doctors were all surrounding Penelope as she was in pain.
"Alright, Miss Peel, you have to remain calm," said one of the doctors.
"Ah can't be calm!" shouted Penelope. "Ah'm in huge pain here! Gaaah!" She held her stomach during the contraction. "Oh, Ah'm gonna kill Richie for doing this to me!"
"Uh, ma'am," said a nurse. "I don't think you'll be able to do that. I just did a scan, and it seems that your last contraction has opened some blood vessels in your stomach. I don't think you're going to make it."
"What?!" shouted Penelope. She then looked at her stomach, then she turned her head towards Kathy and said, "Kathy. Come here."
Kathy walked over to her and held her hand. Kathy then asked, "What is it, Penelope?"
"If... If Ah don't make it... promise me... promise me you'll take care of my baby," Penelope said losing some breath.
"Doctor," said a nurse. "Her heart rate is dropping."
"We mustn't let that happen," said the doctor.
Kathy was sad to know that her best friend was dying. She tightened her grip and said, "I promise, Penelope. I promise I'll take care of the baby. You're my best friend. I never break a promise to my best friend. GAAAAH!!"
"Here comes the baby," said the doctor. "Here it comes." Then nothing but the sound of the heart rate came. Then the beeping stopped and then the sound of a baby crying came up. "It's a boy. Nurse, get the baby cleaned up."
The nurse took the baby and cleaned him up. She then took the baby to Penelope. Penelope took her and held her baby for a moment. She smiled down at him and said, "Hello... Jacob..." She was nodding off. And then the sound of a never ending beep was going off. The baby was crying, knowing that his mother was dead. Kathy grabbed the baby, and held him as he cried.
"Miss? What is your name?" the doctor asked Kathy.
"Katherine Malcolm," she said. "But I prefer Kathy."
"Well, Kathy," said the doctor. "I want you to keep that promise, you're going to need some papers signed. From now on, you're the boy's mother."
"But doctor," said the nurse. "What about the boy's father?"
"Nurse," Kathy said. "Richie, the boy's father, didn't even want the child. He wanted her to give up the child."
"Well, I guess that settles that," said the doctor. "Make sure you keep him healthy. You might not be the boy's biological mother, but take care of him like he was your own."
"I will, doctor," said Kathy. "I will."
Present...
(Jacob's Point of View)
I was stunned of how my biological mother died. I couldn't believe how it happened. I killed my own mother.
"Your mother was a very good person," Mom said. "I'm just... a sorry substitute."
I thought about it hard. But then I remembered all of the things she did for me. Then I said, "No. You're not."
"What?" Mom asked me.
"She might have given birth to me," I said, "but that doesn't mean you're a sorry substitute. You kept the promise for nine years. I wouldn't be any more grateful for what you did. Thank you, Mom."
I hugged her. I could feel tears from her eyes falling on top of my head.
"Aaaaaawww!" came the voices of Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle and Nyx.
"Eeeeeww!!" said Scootaloo.
"C'mon, Scoot," said Apple Bloom. "Jacob is happy to have someone who raised them and that someone kept a promise from his ma. Don't be so cruel."
Mom then stood up and asked, "Would you like to see the apartment upstairs? I haven't been up there in nine years."
"Sure," I said.
We then headed through the garage, and headed for the door that was by the garage door. Mom unlocked it, and inside was a staircase. We went up the stairs, and there was the upstairs apartment. It was completely dusty.
"This is the upstairs apartment?" Apple Bloom asked.
"Wow," said Scootaloo. "This place is really dirty."
"I know my sister Rarity would freak out if she saw this must dust," said Sweetie Belle. "She would be all like, 'Ah! So much dust! There shouldn't be this must dust!'"
"Yeah, I guess your sister wouldn't appreciate this much dust," said Mom. "How about we get this place cleaned up tomorrow? I'll order in some pizza and we'll have to be really busy."
"Hey," said Scootaloo. "I bet if we clean this up, we could be..."
"CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS APARTMENT CLEANERS!! YAY!!" shouted the four girls. Mom and I chuckled at their chant.
"I don't think it's possible to get a Cutie Mark when you're human," I said. "Besides, I already know what your talents are. All four of you."
"What is it?! What is it?!" the four girls chanted.
"You'll have to figure that out all on your own," I said. "You'll find out what your talents are."
"Aww!" said the four girls.
"I love it when they do that," I said. "Makes them sound cute."
"I can see why," said Mom. "Alright, everyone. Let's head on downstairs. We're all going to be busy tomorrow."
Then we all headed back downstairs. We had to be ready to clean up the upstairs apartment tomorrow.

So, Kathy didn't give birth to Jacob, but she raised him as he was her own child.

Chapter 5: Hawaii, Here We Come!!
(Jacob's Point of View)
Today is the day we're heading off to Hawaii tonight. Mom said that we're going on a night time flight so it would be morning when we get to Hawaii. I'm not sure why, but I guess that makes sense. I just hope it's daytime when we get there.
"I can't believe that we're gonna be flying!" said Scootaloo. She then yawned.
"Take it easy, Scarlet," I said. "You've been waiting for this trip for a while."
"Why... Oh right," said Scootaloo. "Gotta keep up disguises."
"That's right," said Mom. "Alright. Keep your tickets with you when we get on the plane. Scarlet, Nicole, you two get to sit on the right side of the plane. Barbara, Susan, you two are with me on the left side."
"Okay," said the Crusaders.
Then they reached the security checkpoint. Nyx then got nervous. Apple Bloom put a hand on Nyx's shoulder and said, "Hey. Don't worry. Ah'll be right here for ya."
"Thanks, Apple Bloom," Nyx whispered.
"Alright, little girl," said a security guard to Apple Bloom. "Remove your shoes, and any metal on you, and put them in that bin. Is this your first time on an airplane?"
"Sure is," Apple Bloom said, taking off her shoes and putting them in a bin. Then she emptied her pockets. She was about to walk in, but the guard stopped her.
"Hang on. Can you please remove your hair bow?" he asked.
"Uhh..." Apple Bloom said. "Okay." Apple Bloom then took off her hair bow, and gave it to the guard.
"Sure, I'll hold it," said the guard. "Now, put your arms up and don't move." Apple Bloom did, and then the scanner did it's job. "Alright, come on out." He then handed Apple Bloom back her bow. Apple Bloom then turned towards Nyx. The security guard said, "Alright, little girl. Empty your pockets take off your shoes and put them in the bin." Nyx did and put her shoes and the things in her pocket in a bin. She was about to get into the metal detector, but then the security guard said, "Could you remove your glasses?"
"Uhhh..." Nyx said.
"Nicole," I said. "Have Barbara hold your glasses."
"Oh, right," said Apple Bloom. "Hand 'em here, 'Nicole'."
Nyx nodded, got into the machine. Closed her eyes, and took off her glasses with her left hand. She reached them out for Apple Bloom to take, which she did. Then the guard said, "You're a good friend, aren'tcha?"
"Yeah," said Apple Bloom. "Ah'm the first friend she ever made."
"So, you known her her whole life?" asked the guard.
"Ya'll have no idea," said Apple Bloom.
Then the metal detector scanned Nyx. Then the guard said, "Alright. Come on out."
Apple Bloom then grabbed Nyx's arm, and pulled her out. She then put Nyx's glasses back on Nyx's face. Nyx opened her eyes, giving them her cloaked eyes. Then I went into the metal detector. I already knew the drill. I took off my shoes, emptied my pockets, and I got scanned. Mom, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo went in another Metal Detector, then we met up after getting our stuff.
"Alright, kids," Mom said. "We got about two and a half hours until our plane leaves. So, let's get something to eat." She then lead us to a restaurant called Romano's Macaroni Grill. We then ordered Pizza. The pizzas took about an hour to finish. Then we ate for a half hour. We then headed for the waiting area of where our plane would be coming in.
We eventually got on our plane. Luckily enough, we got the same row across from each other. Scootaloo and Nyx sat with me on the right side of the plane while Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle sat on the left side with my mom. Scootaloo and Apple Bloom got the window seats. Nyx sat between me and Scootaloo. Sweetie Belle sat between Mom and Apple Bloom.
Then a safety video played on the screen on the back of the seats in front of us just in case an emergency comes. Then the plane took off. We eventually got tired on the plane ride. We fell asleep.
I woke up, and it seemed to be sunrise. I looked that a stewardess covered us with a blanket. I also noticed that when we were asleep, the stewardess took off Nyx's glasses, and put them in the compartment on the back of the seat in front of her. I then grabbed Nyx's glasses right as she was waking up. I then put them on Nyx's face.
"Huh? Wha...?" Nyx asked.
"A stewardess took off your glasses while you were asleep," I said to her.
"Oh," Nyx said. "Are we there yet?"
"I don't know," I said. "Let's see." I then turned on the map on the screen, and saw that we were just about 10 minutes from landing. "10 minute until the plane lands." Then Scootaloo started to wake up.
"What time is it?" Scootaloo asked.
"Don't know yet," I said.
Then a stewardess came up to us and said, "Good morning, kid. Enjoy your slumber?"
"Yeah, actually," said Nyx.
"Would you like something to drink?" asked the stewardess.
"No thanks," I said. "We're gonna get breakfast when we leave the airport."
"Oh, good call," said the stewardess. "In fact, there's an IHOP near the airport."
"IHOP?" asked Scootaloo.
"International House of Pancakes," I said. "What time would it be when we get there?"
"Well, I'm guessing a little after 6:00," said the stewardess. "Hope you enjoy your time in Honolulu."
The three of us nodded.
We got off the plane, got to the baggage claims, and got our bags. Luckily, our bags were easy to find. Then a familiar woman came up to Mom.
"Kathy!" said the woman.
Mom turned around and saw her. "Lauren Faust? Holy cow!"
"How have you been?" asked Lauren Faust. "Hey. You look better."
"I told him everything," Mom said. "I couldn't be anymore relieved." Then I came up to them and said, "Lauren, this is Jacob. Jacob, this is Lauren Faust. The creator of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic."
"I was wondering when I would meet you," said Lauren Faust. "I'm Lauren Faust. But you can call me Lauren."
"Nice to meet you, Lauren," I said, shaking her hand. Then the girls came up to them. She recognized them.
She pointed a finger at Apple Bloom, saying, "Apple Bloom..." Then she pointed at Scootaloo, saying, "Scootaloo..." Then at Sweetie Belle, saying, "Sweetie Belle." Then she looked over at Nyx. "And that would make you Nyx."
Nyx nodded. Then Mom said, "How about we get a car and head over to IHOP for some breakfast?"
"Sure," said Apple Bloom.
"Oh, yeah," said Lauren Faust. "That's Apple Bloom's voice alright."
"Well, what are we waiting for?" asked Scootaloo. "Let's get going."
"I hope that Cooper will be fine in that kennel," said Sweetie Belle.
"He'll be fine, 'Susan'," said Mom. "The kennel is very reliable. It's also part spa, and the people there take good care of the animals."
"Sounds like a place Fluttershy would enjoy," said Nyx.
"It actually does," said Lauren.
Mom rented another Ford Flex. One in Red with white leaves. Kinda reminds us of the little dress that Lilo from Lilo and Stitch wore. We loaded our luggage into the back of the car, which was a little bigger than Mom's car back home. We then headed to IHOP. We all got some French Toast. The Crusaders were enjoying them.
"So, what was all in the show, only parts of it didn't happen?" asked Lauren.
"Yep," said Scootaloo. "We watched the show up until the end of the Season 3 premiere."
"Why'd you stop?" asked Lauren.
"Because that's how far they are and Past Sins came next," I said. "And they were up to chapter 9."
"Oh, yeah," said Lauren. "When I heard that you got four Crusaders with you, Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo and Nyx, I read Past Sins and all of its sequels. Although, it is a good idea for someone not to know too much about their own future, or else it won't happen like you wanted it to. And I've seen all of the episodes of the show. And I can't believe the writers got the name of Scootaloo's parents right. But, I'm feeling bad for her because they all died."
"And do you know Abacus Cinch?" I asked. "She's the owner of that orphanage in Canterlot, which was where Scootaloo was from."
"That's a huge surprise," said Lauren. "I'm sure you'll find a family that'll take care of you."
"So, where are we going to stay?" asked Nyx.
"We're going to be staying at Aulani," said Lauren Faust. "I flew in from New York yesterday, and I already got a room close to mine that'll fit all of you. I'll be close to your room."
"Well, at least we'll have fun," said Sweetie Belle. "I bet Rarity would love to explore the beauty of this place."
"That does sound like Rarity," said Lauren.
Then a waitress came up with a bill. Lauren left her credit card on the check, which the waitress took. Then the woman took the card back and then we all headed over to the car. We got in and then Apple Bloom asked, "How long is this drive gonna be?"
"It took me about half an hour to get to the airport in a taxi," said Lauren. "So, it should be about a few minutes under that. Alright, kids. Everyone in the car."
We came into the hotel room where we were staying. The room was bigger than I thought I was expecting.
"Wow," said Apple Bloom. "This is a big room."
"Alright, kids," said Mom. "Let's see the rest of the room." We then walked into a room from the right of the living area, and there were two beds there. "Alright. Girls, you four are sharing this room. Two crusaders on each bed."
"Yes, Kathy," said the girls. Then they headed in. Apple Bloom and Nyx put their bags on the bed closest to the window. Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo were going to share the other bed.
Then Mom and I went to the living room. "Let's hope this couch is a pull out bed." Then Mom pulled off the cushions and saw that there was a pull out bed inside the couch. "You don't mind sleeping here, do you?"
"No, I don't mind," I said.
"I'm gonna be in this room over here," Mom said. "If you need anything, I'll be close."
"Okay, Mom," I said. I then put my stuff besides the couch. Mom walked into the bedroom on the opposite side of the suite the Crusaders are staying. Then there was a knocking on the front door. I walked over to it, and opened it up. There was Lauren. "Oh, hey, Lauren."
"How's it going, Jacob?" Lauren asked.
"Pretty good," I said.
Then Nyx came out of the room with her glasses off. She then said, "Oh, hi, Lauren."
"Whoa!" said Lauren. "I forgot that Nyx's glasses has an enchantment."
"Yeah," said Nyx. "Sorry. I guess my eyes are creepy for those who haven't seen them."
"It's okay, Nyx," said Lauren. "You're a good little filly. Well a little girl at the moment. Now, I hope you all are going to have a good time. How about we all go see a movie tonight?"
"What's a movie?" Nyx asked.
"It's kinda like a film," said Lauren. "You know what, you'll see it when we get there."
Then Mom came into the room and said, "Hey, Lauren. How are you doing?"
"Good," said Lauren. "How about we spend the rest of the day at the beach, then we wash up and we head out to the the mall. And then we'll have dinner there and enjoy a movie."
"But what about lunch?" Nyx asked.
"We'll do a picnic on the beach," said Lauren. "Everyone, get into your swim suits. We're going to the beach."
Then we all got into our bathing suits and headed off to the beach. Mom made us put on a lot of sunscreen so we wouldn't end up like that one guy on Lilo and Stitch.
I'm sure that we won't end up like him. Basically, we did a lot of things on the beach. We went swimming, and made some sand castles. We finished up and headed back to the hotel room. We washed up, and then we got into some clean clothes and we headed to the nearest mall where the movie theater is. This was a great start to my first Hawaiian vacation.

Today was the second day to our Hawaiian Vacation. We got up, got dressed, and headed downstairs with Lauren to go and get breakfast. We went down to a restaurant that was called Makahiki. And there, there were a bunch of Disney characters saying hi to the customers.
When we got there, a man escorted us to the table where we were going to be sitting. Luckily, it was a big booth. The man said, "Here's your table. Someone will be here to ask for your drink orders."
From left to right, it was Lauren, Apple Bloom, Scootaloo, Sweetie Belle, Nyx, me and Mom. We all got comfortable and took a look at the breakfast menu. Then came a waitress. She has a slightly messy and curly orange hair with a buttercup in it, turquoise eyes, and freckles. She looked like this:
Except for the outfit. She was wearing a Hawaiian waitress outfit. She then said, "Howdy, y'all. Welcome to Makahiki. Ah'm ready to take yer order. Mah name is Paris."
"Nice to meet you, Paris," said Mom. "I'll start off with some decaf coffee."
"I'll take a glass of apple juice," I said.
"Me, too," said Nyx.
"I think I'll have some chocolate milk," said Scootaloo.
"Make that two," said Sweetie Belle.
Apple Bloom was looking at the waitress. She was stunned when looking at her. The waitress then asked, "Are you alright? Can Ah get yer drink order?"
Apple Bloom was stunned looking the waitress. She then muttered... "Ah'll... Ah'll... Ah'll..."
Lauren then spoke for her and said, "She'll take an apple juice. And I'll have a decaf coffee as well."
"Okay," said the waitress. "Three apple juices, two chocolate milks and two decaf coffees. Ah'll be right back with yer drinks." She then walked off.
We all looked over at Apple Bloom and then I asked, "'Barbara', are you okay?"
"That... that woman..." she said. "She looked... she looked... she looked like mah Ma."
Then we all looked over at the waitress, heading towards the kitchen. Then I did notice it. The messy hair, the buttercup, the turquoise eyes, and even the freckles.
"I don't believe it," said Lauren. "She does look and sound like... your mom. How did I not see that?"
"Wait a minute," said Scootaloo. "I thought your mom died when you were a baby. Along with your dad."
"Ah thought so too," said Apple Bloom. "But how is she here?"
"If that was your mom," said Nyx, "why didn't she recognize you?"
"That is a good question," said Mom. "Maybe she isn't your mom. She could be just someone who just looks like your mom."
I then pulled out my phone and looked for a video of Apple Bloom's parents with Mrs. Cake delivering them a cake. The voice of Apple Bloom's mom was the same voice as the waitress. Luckily, I fast forwarded it so any of the Crusaders see Apple Bloom's Cutie Mark. We compared the voice.
"That is mah ma," Apple Bloom said. "But... she should've recognized me. My hair, my bow, mah eyes. Why didn't she?"
"You think we should ask her when she comes back with the drinks," said Mom. "Speaking of which. Here she comes."
Then the woman came back with a tray with drinks. She then said, "All right, ev'ryone. Ah got two cups of decaf coffee." Mom and Lauren raised their hands, and she put them on the table in front of Mom and Lauren. "Now we have two chocolate milks." Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo raised their hands, and then the waitress put them in front of them. "And the rest of you get apple juice." She then put the last drinks in front of me, Nyx and Apple Bloom. "Now, is ev'ryone ready to order? Or are ya gonna go to the buffet?"
"I think we'll take the buffet," said Lauren. "But first, may I ask you something?"
"Shoot," said Paris.
"Do you... recognize this girl," Lauren said, pointing at Apple Bloom.
Paris then looked at Apple Bloom, giving her a confused look. She then said, "She does look familiar. But I don't know. Ah wasn't able to remember anything before nine years ago."
"Wait, what?!" the seven of us asked.
"It's true, ya'll," said Paris. "Ah've woken up in a hospital with no memory. Ah couldn't seem to remember anything before then. But Ah've been having... visions. The doctors there thought it might be memories. But when Ah said that it involved a lot of colored horses, he just then slid it off as some lucid dream. It was weird. Then Ah left the hospital, and Ah got some help from a kind woman. She... got me a place in a nice little house. As long as Ah pay mah rent, I was welcome there. She got me an ID, a Driver's License, a social security number, she even helped me get a job here."
"And... do you still get visions?" Mom asked.
"Once in a while," Paris said. "Ah paint them all when Ah get back home. Kalani, the girl who gave me a home, thought Ah should sell them, but mah doctor told her that maybe they might help get mah memories back from before Ah woke up there."
"You mind if we see them?" Lauren asked.
"Maybe," said Paris, "but Ah'm not sure that they will help. Listen, mah shift ends at eleven. Meet me at the hotel lobby a little after then and Ah'll take ya to mah house and show ya the paintings of mah visions." Then she walked away.
I then looked at Apple Bloom and asked, "Are you going to be okay?"
"Ah... Ah don't know," Apple Bloom said. "Is Paris really mah Ma and just lost her memory?"
"There's only one way to find out," said Scootaloo.
"Yeah," said Sweetie Belle. "We'll be there for you whenever you need support."
Apple Bloom smiled and said, "Thanks, girls. Ah hope this really is Ma."
We all headed off somewhere, following Paris in her car, which was a blue Ford Taurus. We followed her to a house and she headed towards one smaller house that was next door. We got out of the car and headed for it.
"Alright, ya'll," said Paris. "This is where Ah live." She then unlocked it, and when we went inside, there were paintings everywhere. There were indeed paintings of horses. No. Not just any horses. Ponies. Ponies from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. We all looked at them. We saw pictures of ponies that are close to her and her family. Even a younger Mrs. Cake, who at the time was known as Chiffon Swirl at the time. She pulled up one picture on an isle, and said, "This one... this one was the most recent I painted." We all looked at the painting. This is what we saw.
"Whoa," said Apple Bloom.
"Ah know," said Paris. "It certainly is a beauty, ain't it." Apple Bloom nodded. "Ah feel a strong connection to this painting Ah drew. Ah was wonderin' why Ah was seeing horses. Especially a horse version of mahself."
"So, do you ever know why these visions just come to you?" Mom asked.
"Nope," said Paris. "Ah just have them, and then Ah paint them. Ah just wish Ah knew what they meant."
"Ya know," Apple Bloom said, "mah sister said that mah Ma said that not everyone can remember stuff, but ya should never forget who ya are or where ya come from."
"Gah!" Paris said, holding her head. Mom and Lauren walked over to her and carried her to her sofa.
"Are you okay?" I asked.
"Why... why did that sound so... familiar?" Paris asked.
I then walked over to Apple Bloom and whispered into her ear and said, "I think it's working. Memories from her past must be coming back. Try bringing up some family members."
Apple Bloom nodded, then said, "Sorry, 'bout that. Guess AJ takes a lot from ma and pa. She and mah big brother Big Mac." That made Paris flinch, holding onto her head. "Even helped mah Granny Smith with the farm chores when mah parents went away."
"Gah!" said Paris. She stared at the floor. Her eyes narrowing, and tears were coming from them. She then looked up at Apple Bloom with her mouth slightly open. She then said, "Those... those eyes. The hair. The bow." She then got off the couch, and kneeling in front of Apple Bloom. She then said, "...Apple... Bloom...?"
"Ma?" Apple Bloom asked.
Paris then smiled and she pulled Apple Bloom in for a hug and said, "Oh, my goodness!" She then pulled Apple Bloom away, shedding tears of joy. Apple Bloom was giving the same expression. "Y-you're so big. Oh, Ah can't believe you're here."
"Ma? Do ya... do ya...?" Apple Bloom asked.
"Ah do," said Paris. "Ya're the youngest of my three foals. McIntosh is yer big brother, and Applejack is yer big sister. We lived at Sweet Apple Acres with Granny Smith. We sell a lot of apples. And.." She then remembered. "Oh, mah."
"Ma?" Apple Bloom asked. "Where's Pa?"
She then sighed and said, "When Ah came to at the hospital here, the doctor said that Ah was brought in with another man. That man was yer father. He died. He was hit by a really big truck and Ah was right behind him. We were pushed into a tree, but yer father was pierced right in the chest area on a tree branch. Ah woke up with amnesia in the hospital." Apple Bloom then started crying. Then Paris, now known as Buttercup, pulled her in for a hug. "Ah'm so sorry, Apple Bloom."
"Granny always said that the ones who leave ya remain in yer heart," Apple Bloom said. "Right now... Ah believe that she's right."
"She sure is," Buttercup said. "Hey. Ah got a lot of vacation time. Perhaps Ah should take some to spend them with you."
"That sounds like a great idea, Ma," said Apple Bloom.
"Ma'am," said Mom. "My name is Katherine Malcolm. You can call me Kathy. Anyway, for the past month, I've been watching over your daughter and her friends ever since she got here."
"I was just wondering that," said Buttercup. "How did she and her friends end up here?"
"We don't know," I said. "My name's Jacob. And... well, Kathy's my adopted mother."
"Okay," said Buttercup. "Well, thank you both for watching over mah daughter and her friends. Speaking of which. Apple Bloom, would you mind doing some introductions?"
"Sure, Ma," said Apple Bloom. She then walked over, putting an arm around Sweetie Belle's shoulder, saying, "Ma. This is Sweetie Belle. She's the younger sister of Rarity." Then she walked over to Scootaloo. "This is Scootaloo. She loves riding her scooter across Ponyville really fast." Then she walked over to Nyx and said, "And this here is Nyx. She's actually the newest member of our club."
"Club?" asked Buttercup.
"Uh-huh," said Apple Bloom. "Together, we are..."
"THE CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS!" the four of them shouted.
"Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle and I started this club so we could find our Cutie Marks," said Scootaloo.
"That's good to hear," said Buttercup. "So, where have ya been living?"
"Orlando, Florida," I said. "We had no idea you were here."
Buttercup then put a hand to her chin. She was thinking about something. She then walked over to the phone, and started dialing a number. She waited and then she spoke into the phone. "Hello? I would like to speak to the manager. I need to talk to him about something."
Buttercup told the manager that she would be resigning from working at Aulani. When she told them that she got her memories back, they felt happy. Not only for getting her memories back, but also reuniting with one of her children. They even agreed to help her get her stuff to the mainland whenever she was ready to leave.
She was a little surprised that there was a show that was based around her second child, Applejack, and her friends. She was told that not everything in the show was perfectly accurate. But she was surprised to know that Nyx was supposed to be Nightmare Moon given a body of her own and not still connected to Princess Luna.
We were all heading back to the hotel room and she asked, "Really? All of that happened?"
"Yep," said Apple Bloom. "Everything we told ya. But not everythin' in the show is accurate."
Then she looked over at Nyx and said, "So, you were supposed ta be the Mare in the Moon given a body of her own and not connected to Princess Luna? Huh? Ah didn't even know that that story was true. Nor would one of the two sisters was Princess Celestia."
"Yeah," said Nyx. "I woke up a filly with no memory. None at all. But, when Twilight was taking care of me... I was something that Nightmare Moon wasn't."
"And that is?" Buttercup asked.
"Happy," Nyx said. "Nightmare Moon wasn't really happy. I will not grow up like that wicked mare. I will be my own pony."
"Whoever took care of you sure raised you right," said Buttercup. "Should we head on inside? I don't ever want to be separated from my family ever again."
(Third Person Point of View)
When it was 10:00 PM, Buttercup stayed in the same room where Jacob, Cathy and the Crusaders were staying. Jacob offered her the couch and Kathy had him sleep with her. She was about to fall asleep until she saw Apple Bloom coming out of the other room.
"Apple Bloom?" Buttercup asked. "What are you doing up?"
"Ah missed a lot of sleeping with ya for years," Apple Bloom said. "Mind if Ah slept with ya the rest of the vacation?"
Buttercup smiled and said, "Come over here, Apple Bloom." Apple Bloom then climbed into the bed and got under the covers. "Good night, Apple Bloom."
"Good night, Ma," said Apple Bloom. The two of them fell asleep, making sure they had a peaceful slumber.

~~Pear Butter~~ Buttercup is alive. She lost her memory, was living in Hawaii, and when Apple Bloom came to her, she got her memories back. Hopefully, she will be with her and the girls when they get back home to Equestria.

Chapter 7: Homecoming
(Jacob's Point of View)
The rest of the week went by a flash. Apple Bloom didn't have much time to hang with her mom when she was at the house she was living at for nine years. She packed up the stuff she wanted to take to our house in Orlando, Florida, and donate the things she doesn't need to to the Goodwill in Honolulu. A bunch of movers would be ready to take the stuff she wanted to have with her into a large container.
Lauren then bought all of the paintings that Buttercup had made, since she didn't need them anymore. Buttercup said that she would make new memories when, or if, they all get back to Equestria. Today, we all got on an early flight from Honolulu to Orlando. Lauren paid for Buttercup's ticket to Orlando, Buttercup sold her car, and all seven of us headed back to Orlando.
I woke up in my bed back in Orlando. I got up and out of my bed, and I smelled some pancakes being cooked. I walked into the kitchen, expecting my mom to be there. Instead, there was Buttercup at the stove. She saw me coming in and said, "Good morning, Jacob."
"Morning, Buttercup," I said.
"Go ahead and sit down," she said. "I'm sure the others will come in soon."
"Where's my mom?" I asked.
"Oh, Kathy said that she was going to buy some groceries," said Buttercup. "She said on the way home, she's gonna pick up your dog. Ah heard that he's a collie like Winona."
"He is," I said. Then I thought of a question. "Buttercup. Can I ask you something?"
"Go ahead, Jacob," Buttercup said.
"How did you get here?"
Buttercup finished the last pancake and put it on a plate. She then took the plate to the counter and said, "Well, it's a little hard for me to say and repeat. I should answer when Kathy and the other girls are here."
Then the front door opened. The sound of paws running on the wooden floor came and in came Cooper, running up to me. He jumped on me, and started licking my face.
"Gah!" I said as Cooper jumped on me. "Hahahahaha! Cooper! Please! Can you please get off?!" Then Cooper got off me. I got up and hugged him, saying, "Okay, Cooper. Okay. I missed you, too."
Cooper then saw Buttercup. He walked over to her and Buttercup reached her hand off to him. He then started licking her hand.
"Wow," said Mom, coming towards the kitchen. "He already likes you. Cooper doesn't normally tend too well to strangers."
"Guess he smells the pony on me," said Buttercup.
"Ma?" came Apple Bloom's voice.
"Ah'm in the kitchen, Apple Bloom," Buttercup said. Then Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo and Nyx came up to the kitchen table. "Alright, everyone. Time to eat up."
We all sat at the kitchen table and started eating. Buttercup looked over towards me and said, "Well, you wanted to know how I got here. So, I'll tell all of you at once." She then took a deep breath. "It was when Apple Bloom was about three months old. Bright Mac and I were taking some baked apple goods to some family up in the mountains. But that was when our worries began."
Equestria, 8 1/2 Years Ago...
(Third Person Point of View)
Bright Mac and Buttercup were pulling carts full of apple sweets. They were heading up some mountains. They eventually came to the mountains. Then the sound of buzzing went off.
"Hey, Buttercup," Bright Mac said. "Do ya hear something?"
"Ah do," said Buttercup. Then they followed the sound of the buzzing, and they saw a Bugbear coming right towards them. "Oh, sweet Celestia!" Then the two of them started running.
The Bugbear attacked them. He missed Bright Mac and Pear Butter, but it did crush the carts they were pulling. They got unstrapped from what was left of the carts and headed off, trying to run away from the bugbear. The bugbear chased them into a small cave. The bugbear tried getting into the cave, but it was too big to even get it's paw into the cave.
"That was close," said Bright Mac.
"Yeah," said Buttercup. "But we're trapped here in this cave."
"Perhaps there's a way out," said Bright Mac, pulling a lantern from his saddlebag. He lit it up. "There. Now we have a way ta light our way."
"Uh, Bright Mac," Buttercup said. Bright Mac looked towards what Buttercup was looking at, and he saw a hand drawn message. It said, Apple Peel was here... Buttercup was surprised to see that. "Apple Peel? Isn't that the name of your twin sister?"
"She was here the whole time?" asked Bright Mac.
"Maybe she got stuck in here and found a way out," said Buttercup.
"But... she never came back," said Bright Mac.
"You don't think she... died in this cave, do you?" Buttercup asked.
"Only one way to find out," said Bright Mac. Then the two of them headed deeper into the cave. They kept walking until the sound of something whirling came to their ears. "What is that?"
"Is it the bugbear?" asked Buttercup.
"No," said Bright Mac. "This is more of a whirling sound. Like a propeller on a zeppelin. The bugbear made a buzzing and growling noise." They headed towards the sound and saw a light blue portal with a green core.
"What is that?" asked Buttercup.
"Ah don't know," said Bright Mac. "C'mon. Let's get out of here." What Bright Mac didn't know was that he kicked a pebble right towards the portal. The portal then started reacting, sucking up both of the ponies.
"Bright Mac! What's going on?!" shouted Buttercup.
"Ah don't know, Buttercup!" shouted Bright Mac. Then the portal eventually gave off a stronger suction, and pulled both of the ponies into it as they were screaming. And then everything went black.
Somewhere on the Island of Oahu...
Buttercup was coming to. She looked around, confused. She was in some kind of forest. She then rubbed her face with a hoof, or at least she thought it was a hoof. She looked down at it, and saw it was a human hand. She then yelled. Then she looked down at the rest of herself. She was wearing a light blue skirt, a lighter blue blouse, a necklace with a buttercup clip, and cowboy boots.
She looked around and saw another human. A human which reminded her of a certain pony she loved. Bright Mac was wearing a white undershirt, a red and brown button up shirt over the white shirt, blue jeans, a brown leather belt, and some cowboy boots of his own.
Buttercup crawled over to him, and tried shaking him awake. "Bright Mac. Bright Mac, wake up!"
Bright Mac was stirring around. Then he said, "In a minute, Buttercup. It's too early to..." He then noticed what his wife was looking like. He then looked down at his hands and said, "WHOA! What happened to us?!"
"Ah don't know!" said Buttercup. "We need to find somepony."
"How would they believe us?" asked Bright Mac. "Ya expect us to ask for help if ponies see us as monsters?"
Buttercup brought a hand to her chin and said, "Right. Who would believe us."
"We should find a way home by ourselves," said Bright Mac. Then the two of them started heading off somewhere, crawling on all fours, trying to walk like a pony, but with a new body structure, they were having trouble.
They reached a paved road, Buttercup then asked, "What? A paved road?"
"But we're nowhere near Manehatten," said Bright Mac. Then a truck came right towards them. The driver didn't see them until it was too late. Bright Mac took the collision, Buttercup being right behind him, pushing them both towards a couple trees. Buttercup was knocked out, but Bright Mac. You'll find out soon.
Buttercup woke up in a hospital. She was wondering where she was. Then a human doctor came into the room.
"Ah, good," said the doctor. "You're awake. I was wondering when it would happen." He then checked his clipboard and said, "The people who brought you two in said that the two of you had no form of identification. Might I ask who you are..."
"Ah'm... Ah..." Buttercup said, but she was having a hard time remembering. "Ah don't remember. Ah can't remember anythin'."
"Oh, boy," said the doctor. "Are you sure?"
"Not a thing," said Buttercup.
"Oh, that is not good," said the doctor.
"Two?" Buttercup asked. "Ah wasn't the only one taken in?"
"I got good news and bad news," said the doctor. "The good news is that you weren't the only one those people found. The bad news is, he died when his back collided with that tree. I'm sorry, miss. But I'm sure we'll find someone that'll help you until you can get your memories back."
"Ah hope so," said Buttercup.
Jacob's Home, Present Time...
(Jacob's Point of View)
We were surprised about what Buttercup said. Apple Bloom was almost in tears.
"And that's how Ah ended up in this world, and lost my memories," said Buttercup. "Started going by the name Paris Butter. No one knew who Ah was, or where Ah came from. But Ah was able to get a proper education so Ah could get a job. Luckily, Ah found someone who allowed me to live in their guest house. And ever since then, Ah've been trying to find a way to get mah memories back." Then she looked over at Apple Bloom and said, "And then you came to me."
Apple Bloom then got out of her chair, and walked over to her mom, and hugged her. We all were happy for her. I looked over at my mom and saw that she had her head facing straight down.
"Mom?" I asked. "Is something wrong?"
That made the others look towards her. What was bothering her.
"Kathy," Buttercup said. "Are you concerned about something?"
Mom then looked up and looked at us. She then said, "I... also have something to confess about Penelope."
"What?" I asked. "What is it?"
"When I found Penelope," Mom said, "she was a little confused on where she was. In fact, I thought she was crazy. She didn't even know how Humans were like."
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"Penelope wasn't really her real name," Mom said. "Her real name... was Apple Peel."
That made me, Apple Bloom and Buttercup gasp.
"Then," said Buttercup. "It means that Jacob is half pony."
"It... means he's an apple," said Apple Bloom.
"If Apple Peel was here," said Buttercup, "Ah might be able to get her reunited with the family."
"Ma," Apple Bloom said. "That can't happen. According to Kathy, she died giving birth."
"To me," I said.
"Oh," said Buttercup. "That's so sad. Ah'm so sorry. And that's why ya were adopted."
"Yeah," I said. "Hey. If that means my birth mother was an apple..."
Then Apple Bloom came over to me and hugged me, saying, "That means that makes ya mah cousin! Ah got another cousin!"
"Wow," said Nyx. "This is big news."
"It is," said Sweetie Belle. "I'm happy for you, Apple Bloom."
"Mom?" I asked. "Are you okay with this?"
"I'll be fine," said Mom. "I promised your birth mom I would take care of you. Guess we didn't expect that your biological family came and didn't know it."
"It was a surprise to us as well," said Buttercup. Then there was a knocking on the front door.
"Who is it?!" Mom shouted.
"Hawaii to Mainland Movers," said a man from outside. "We got some boxes and furniture for a miss Paris Apple?"
"That's me," said Buttercup. She then looked at the rest of us and asked, "You mind helping me unpack and move into the upstairs apartment?"
"Sure!" said the Crusaders.
We all then helped out with Buttercup moving into the apartment upstairs. Hopefully, we'll be able to get a lot of things to do together for the rest of the summer.
Equestria... Golden Oaks Library...
(Third Person Point of View)
Twilight was pacing around the table, again, worn a groove into the floor. Twilight was thinking about what happened to Nyx and her friends when Applejack came in with a panicked look.
"Twilight! "
"What is it Applejack? "
"It's the Crusaders. They didn't come down fer breakfast this mornin'. Ah started to get worried, and when Ah went to check on them, they were gone. No sign of any of them. "
"Not even Nyx? "
"Ah'm sorry, Twi. Ah'm havin' the rest o' our friends lookin' high 'n' low fer 'em. "
Then Twilight thought about when Princess Celestia was having a talk to them.
"So please, please, Twilight Sparkle, I ask this of you, not as a princess of Equestria or as your teacher, but a pony who fears for those she cares about. Let me take Nyx. Allow me to put these fears to rest, for you do not know how much they torture me. "
"I can't. On two reasons. "
"And that is? "
"One, Nyx would never do that. She actually likes doing things a filly would do. And two, she and her three best friends have gone missing. "
"What?! This is terrible news! I shall help out with the search for Nyx. I will let you know as soon as possible when we find her and the other girls. "
Twilight's thoughts were cut off when she felt something touch her back. Twilight turned her head to her left and saw Spike there.
"Twilight?" Spike asked. "Can you please stop pacing? You need rest."
"I can't rest, Spike," Twilight said. "Nyx is out there somewhere, and I can't find her! I won't rest until Nyx is found!"
Then Rarity came into the library, saying, "Twilight. I hope I'm not a bother." Twilight looked towards Rarity with a sad look. Twilight's mane was messier than how it was the day before Nyx's first sleepover. And the bags under her eyes were bigger. "My word, this is more serious than I thought."
"Rarity... I... I..." Twilight tried to speak.
"Twilight," Rarity said. "I know. I know you and Nyx have a special connection. I'm even in the same boat as you when Sweetie Belle went missing with her. Applejack, and her family as well."
"Wait a minute," said Spike. "What about Scootaloo's family? Shouldn't they know about this?"
"I already tried finding Scootaloo's family, but nopony knows where she lives," said Rarity. "I've already told the mayor about the situation. So far, everypony is concerned." Then her face scrunched up. "Except for those to brats and Spoiled Rich."
"What am I supposed to do?" Twilight asked.
"Twilight," said Rarity. "They all felt bad for you. So, I had to tell the other girls about Nyx. They were shocked, but I also told them that she wasn't acting when she was around all of us. "
Then Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie came in. Rainbow Dash said, "You were doing what was right. You kept her true identity a secret."
"Ya saw her... not just as a filly that looks like Nightmare Moon," said Applejack, "but as a filly who is curious about the world around her."
"You could've told us the truth," said Fluttershy. "We could've helped if you just told us."
"Yeah!" said Pinkie Pie. "I would wanna try to throw a private party with just us, and make her feel super duper special and I would make sure that Nyx would never, ever, ever be that mad mare ever again!"
Twilight smiled. She then said, "Thanks, girls." She then sighed. "I just hope Nyx is alright."
Not knowing that they were being watched, Princess Luna was standing right outside. She then said, "Do not worry, Twilight Sparkle. Nyx is in good care." She then took off. She then landed on a cloud. She then thought to herself, "I'm sure that this young human and his adoptive mother are taking care of Nyx and her friends. " She then flew off into the night sky, heading towards Canterlot, to perform her nightly duties.

Chapter 8: RV Camping
(Jacob's Point of View)
The girls and I were getting some time in the pool. Mom and Aunt Buttercup were heading off somewhere for something. They've been gone for a while.
"Ma and Kathy have been gone a long time," said Apple Bloom. "Whatcha think they're up ta?"
"Don't know, cousin," I said. "They've been gone a while."
Then Nyx started getting out of the pool, grabbed her towel, and dried herself off. Then Sweetie Belle asked, "Where are you going, Nyx?"
"I gotta use the bathroom," Nyx answered.
"Well, when you gotta go, you gotta go," said Scootaloo. "It's not good to pee in a public pool."
"Yeah," I said. "Especially if we have a chemical in the pool that turns urine blue."
"Seriously?!" asked Scootaloo. "I'm concerned on why they would make a chemical for that."
"Yeah," I said. "Mom got some when she saw a movie with Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade and Rob Schneider."
"I have no idea who those are," said Scootaloo.
"They're movie stars in this world," I said.
"Okay," said Scootaloo. "Hey, what did your mom want to get for the next two weeks?"
"I don't know," I said. "It better be something big."
Nyx then came back out and said, "Apple Bloom, your mom's back. And she came alone in Kathy's car."
"What?" Apple Bloom and I asked in unison.
"Where's my mom?" I asked. We then got out of the pool, dried off, headed in through my room, and headed for the driveway. There was Aunt Buttercup there. "Hey, Aunt Buttercup. Where's my mom?"
"Oh, she'll be here soon," said Buttercup. "Ah'm sure she'll be here soon."
"What is she doing, Ma?" Apple Bloom asked.
"Well, last night, Kathy got a call from work," said Buttercup. "She was assigned to help out with a project that her company works for. In Los Angeles."
"Los Angeles?" I asked. "That's on the West Coast."
"Yep," said Buttercup. "We're going ta go from coast ta coast. Not only will it be a meeting for Kathy so she can get a promotion, but we're also going to one of the biggest amusement parks in the country. A place called Disneyland."
"I've been to Disney World," I said. "But I haven't seen any parts of Disneyland."
"But we're going to make some overnight stops on the way there," said Buttercup. "Of course, Kathy will still be working on her project on the way there."
"Are we going to stay in hotels?" asked Nyx.
"Nope," said Buttercup. "We got something better."
Then a loud horn came up in. We all looked towards the street to the right and saw an RV coming towards our driveway. The RV was a 2021 Sunseeker LE 3250DSLE. It then turned, and started backing up. It stopped right in front of Mom's car. Then Mom got out of the RV.
"Hey, kids," Mom said. "Has Buttercup told you about the plan already?"
"Yep," Apple Bloom said.
Then Buttercup went to the trunk of the car, and pulled out a Dish satellite for RVs. Mom then walked up to her and asked, "You need help with that?"
"No, Ah got it," said Buttercup. "Ah used to be an Earth Pony, and we are surprisingly strong. The people wondered why Ah was so strong for someone so small. Up until that day, Ah thought Ah was incredibly gifted."
"Makes sense," said Mom. "Tomorrow, we'll load up some groceries, and bring in some pots and pans for the road."
"What about the dishes?" Nyx asked.
"We'll buy paper plates and plastic ware," said Mom.
"It might take us days to get to Los Angeles," said Buttercup. "So, we're going to stop at some places along the way."
"Sweet," said Apple Bloom.
"Awesome!" said Scootaloo. "We could see some sights on the way there."
"Indeed," said Mom. "But, unfortunately, I'm gonna be working on the project along the way on my laptop. But, Buttercup will be able to let you see the sights. Now, let's get ready to go. Pack your bags, everyone. We're going on a trip."
"But what about Cooper?" I asked.
"He can come with us, this time," said Mom. "Plus, he's trained whether to bark whether he has to go to the bathroom. Of course, we're going to have to bring some doggy bags to pick up his business."
Well, we got everything ready for our new trip. Mom and Aunt Buttercup had set up a map to where we'll be going and stopping on the way there. First, we will stop at New Orleans. Then we'll be going to San Antonio, Texas. Then to a place called Lordsburg, New Mexico. And then we'll head off to Los Angeles so Mom can get to where she needs to go while the rest of us check out the sights there. Aunt Buttercup installed a trailer that would pull her car on the back of the RV.
"Okay, the Car's strapped to the RV," said Buttercup. "Should we head on over there?"
"Mom's still finishing up the laundry," I told her.
"Well, Ah'm sure it'll be done soon," said Aunt Buttercup. Then Apple Bloom came out of the door that leads to the stairway to Buttercup's new home.
"Ma? Jacob?" Apple Bloom asked. "Kathy wanted me to let ya know that the laundry's done."
"Thank you, Apple Bloom," Aunt Buttercup said. She then looked at me. "Let's head on inside, and get yer clothes packed up."
Then we headed into the house. We all packed our bags and us and Cooper got into the camper. Mom took the first drive and we headed towards Walmart. We got some paper plates, dog food, plastic ware, plenty of drinks and some card games. Then Aunt Buttercup started driving us towards New Orleans while Mom was working on the project on her computer.
Aunt Buttercup and Mom were sitting in the front seat. Apple Bloom and I sat on the couch. Nyx sat with Cooper at the table. And Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo were sitting at the sofa by the bathroom. Mom had already called an RV Park in New Orleans so we won't have to talk to the manager of the RV Park. Of course, we had to make a pit stop on the way.
We made it to New Orleans. We stayed there over night. Mom slept in the bed in the back of the RV. Aunt Buttercup and Apple Bloom slept on the bunks in front of the bathroom. Sweetie Belle and Nyx slept on the sofa, I slept on the Dinette Bed with Cooper, and Scootaloo took the loft over the driver's seat.
We got up, and headed for Denny's. Luckily, it was next to a gas station. Then we left for San Antonio. We saw a lot of sights on the way while Mom was working on her laptop while Aunt Buttercup was driving and the rest of us were watching TV. I then got bored and got out my Nintendo Switch.
"Hey," Apple Bloom said. "What's that?"
"You know about Video Games, right?" I asked. "Well, there are some video game companies that sell game consoles that can be played either at home or on the road. This console can be played mobile or on the TV. This is called a Nintendo Switch."
"Cool," said Apple Bloom. "Can Ah try?"
"Sure, but how about we play a multiplayer game on the big screen?" I asked.
"Sure," said Apple Bloom.
I then got up from my seat, and looked over at Nyx and asked, "Hey, Nyx. Can you hand me the backpack under the table?"
Nyx then pulled the backpack down from under the table, and put it on top. I then climbed onto the loft, taking the backpack, setting up the loft, and then opened up the backpack. Inside the backpack was a bunch of things for the Nintendo Switch. I set up the docking station, the cables, and I turned the channel on the TV. Then I put the Switch Tablet into the Docking Station and then what appeared on the tablet appeared on the screen.
"Whoa!" said Apple Bloom and Nyx.
"Yep," I said. "Now, what to play." I then took out a case full of games, and I loaded in one video game. Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games. The newest version.
We played for a while until we arrived at the destination. We stayed for the night, and then we went to sleep. Then the next day, we drove to Lordsburg, New Mexico. There wasn't much there. But eventually, we made it to Anaheim. We made it to the RV park, just in time before the office closed. We parked in parking spot 371 of this map:
Mom was sitting on the passenger side working on the project on her laptop. And then she said, "And... it's... finished." Then she sent the progress of the project was sent to her boss by email. Then she got up from her seat, and headed over towards the table. We were just about to play some card games. My mom's favorite was a card game called Skip-Bo. "Hey, kids. Oh, you're setting up some Skip-Bo? Mind if I shuffle?"
"Sure," said Apple Bloom. "Hey, Kathy? Do ya know where Ma went?"
"She's gone out to get dinner for us," said Mom. "She's going to get some pizza for all of us."
"Mm," said Apple Bloom. "Sounds good."
"Yeah," said Nyx. "So, should we start?"
We just about finished up our game. Nyx won the game. I was almost the winner, but she played the smarter strategy. Just in time, because Aunt Buttercup came back with the pizza.
"I got the pizza, everyone," said Aunt Buttercup. "Thanks for lending me the car, Kathy."
"You're welcome, Buttercup," said Kathy. "So, I'm going into the office of where the project will be displayed. So, you all are going to have to do some shopping for the days at Disneyland."
"Do we have to?" asked Nyx.
"You'll be okay," said Kathy. "Especially with Buttercup here. You buy small snacks and some breakfast items, and a lot of water."
"Ma?" Apple Bloom asked. "When ya had those visions, how did ya feel about each of them?"
Aunt Buttercup thought about it. She was concerned on all of those emotional moments. She then said, "It was a feeling of mixed emotions, Apple Bloom. Happy... sad... angry... all of those memories. Even some memories that have been hurtful. I rather not talk about those memories."
"Guess there are some memories you wish you'd forget," said Nyx.
"Yeah," said Buttercup. "So, should we get some grub in? Ah'm mighty hungry, y'all."
We all nodded. Mom pulled out the paper plates, and we all started eating. Tomorrow was going to be one heck of a day until the next day.

(Jacob's Point of View)
Mom and Aunt Buttercup woke us up. They said it was time for Mom to get to where she needs to go. We got dressed, and Mom convinced the manager of the RV Park to watch over Cooper while we were all out. We all headed out, and Aunt Buttercup was driving Mom's Car. We decided to get breakfast at a place called Mel's Drive-In. We went right in and were greeted by a waitress.
"Good morning," said the waitress. "How many in your party?"
"Seven," said Mom.
"Right this way," said the waitress. We all followed the waitress, and we all were seated at a long table. "Alright. I'll take your drink orders."
"I'll have Coffee," Mom said. "Decaf."
"Apple Juice," I said.
"Make that two apple juices," said Aunt Buttercup.
"Three," said Apple Bloom.
"Four," said Nyx.
"I think I'll take an Orange Juice," said Sweetie Belle.
"Me, too," said Scootaloo.
"Okay," said the waitress. "One decaf coffee, four apple juices and two orange juices. I'll be right back."
The waitress brought us our drinks and then we ordered our meals. We ate, and then we had to head out. Buttercup started up the car, and then we headed off. Buttercup dropped off Mom at a huge office building. I rolled down the window and Mom said to me, "Alright, Jacob. Stay with your Aunt Buttercup, and I'll call her whenever I need a pickup."
"Okay, Mom," I said. Then I rolled up the window while Mom went in with a bag. Aunt Buttercup then started driving off somewhere.
"Alright, kids," said Aunt Buttercup. "We got a lot of time to do until Kathy gets out. Let's get going, y'all."
"So, what are we gonna do today, Ma?" Apple Bloom asked.
"We'll be seeing a lot of the city," said Aunt Buttercup. "I just hope that we'll be able to enjoy the time here. But, Ah kinda miss Ponyville already."
"Do you think there's a way to get back to Ponyville?" asked Sweetie Belle. "I'm starting to miss my sister, Rarity."
"Yeah," said Scootaloo. "And I've missed being around Rainbow Dash. She's such an inspiration to me."
"Ya got a point, girls," said Apple Bloom. "Ah'm starting to miss Applejack, Big Mac and Granny."
"Big Mac?" asked Aunt Buttercup. "Oh. Let me guess. He got such a growth spurt, didn't he?"
"Yeah," said Apple Bloom. "He did. Without you or Pa, Big Mac had ta drop outta school just to work at the farm. And ya know that Granny Smith ain't that much on movin' all that much."
"And Twilight must be worried a lot about Nyx," said Sweetie Belle.
"Ah'm not sure that there is a way back to Equestria," said Aunt Buttercup.
"But if there was a way that you all got here," I said, "there must be a way to get back. Like in the movie "National Treasure," there's always another way out in case the first way is cut off."
"Oh, yeah," said Buttercup. "Ah saw that movie. Although, there was a lot of things in that movie that are not suitable for children."
"Mom told me whenever something bad is happening, you should try to block it out," I said.
"Wow," said Buttercup. "Did ya do that to bullies in school?"
"There is one bully," I said. "A boy named Marion Devon."
That made Aunt Buttercup nod and say, "Marion. I didn't know it was a boy's name."
"I know," I said, laughing. "Anyway, I shouldn't let words of bullies get me down."
"Wow," said Apple Bloom. "Wish ya were in Equestria ta help out with Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon."
"Are those the names of the two bullies in yer school, Apple Bloom?" asked Aunt Buttercup.
"Yeah," said Apple Bloom. "But, maybe the next time we get bullied by those two, we should just ignore 'em."
"Right now, let's focus on trying to get through the day," said Aunt Buttercup. "Ya'll just sit back and relax."
Aunt Buttercup took us to Walmart to get us some snacks for us. We got some water bottles, some chewy Chips Ahoy Cookies that was in a party size pack, some apple juice, and she also got a skillet with some pancake mix.
We also got some movies to watch later. Including the live action Sonic the Hedgehog movie. We didn't have it at home, but we could watch it. Mom said it was an okay movie. We watched Sonic the Hedgehog on the screens on the back of the headrests of the car. That was until Nyx said something.
"That waitress reminds me of somepony," said Nyx.
I then pulled out my phone, and looked up the cast on the Sonic the Hedgehog movie, and it turns out that the waitress in the movie was Shannon Chan-Kent. She voiced a bunch of My Little Pony characters. Here is a list of all of those voices she has done. (Pinkie Pie (singing voice), Silver Spoon, Lemon Zest, Wallflower Blush, Aura (Flight to the Finish), Roma (One Bad Apple), and Sonata Dusk (Singing in Equestria Girls: Better Together).
"No way," I said. "That woman has done a lot of characters from My Little Pony. She did the singing voice of Pinkie Pie and she also voiced Silver Spoon."
"That woman played Silver Spoon?" asked Scootaloo.
"I guess I can hear it now," said Sweetie Belle.
Then came the scene where Sonic was playing darts, having the waitress go jaw dropped when the cans of beer and her hat were covered in darts. Although, the Crusaders all thought that the slow motion scene was amazing, and funny. Especially what Sonic did with the ketchup, mustard and sparklers on those three guys.
Then Buttercup got a call from Mom. So, we headed back to the office building where she was. We picked her up, and headed on back to the RV. Mom got the promotion, and the boss told her to enjoy her vacation.
"So, how did you all enjoy your day?" asked Mom.
"Nothing all that special," I said.
"How about we go out for lunch, see a movie, and do some souvenir shoppin', y'all?" asked Aunt Buttercup.
"That sounds like a great idea, Ma," said Apple Bloom.
"Yeah, I could eat," said Scootaloo. "So, what are ya thinking?"
"Oh," said Mom. "Just the day before we left, Lauren sent a package for the four Crusaders." She then headed to the bed in the back room, opened up the bottom, and pulled out a box. She then carried the box towards the dinette. She then opened it, and revealed four plushies. Plushies of all four Crusaders.
"WHOA!!" said all four Crusaders.
"This is so cool!" said Scootaloo. "How did Lauren get these?"
"She created the show, Friendship is Magic," said Mom. "Of course she would have a lot of stuff from the show."
"That's actually cute," said Aunt Buttercup. "So, should we get something ta eat?"
We went out for a place called Tortilla Jo's. It was a Mexican restaurant. We got some some food, and then we went out to see a movie. After that, we went souvenir shopping. When we were done shopping, I had to go to the bathroom. Everyone else did as well.
As I came out of the bathroom, there was some man hitting on Aunt Buttercup.
"So, sweet cheeks," said the man. "How about you and I head off somewhere for a chat. Say, my place?"
"No thanks," said Aunt Buttercup. "Ah have plans."
"C'mon, don't be like that..." he said. "What's your name?"
"Richie?!" came Mom's voice. That got the attention of me, Aunt Buttercup and the man.
"Katherine?!" said the man, which was now known as my father. "What are you doing here?!"
"I'll tell you what I'm doing here," said Mom. "I'm here after getting a successful promotion from my job, and I was hoping never to see you ever again after what you did to Penelope."
"Penelope shouldn't have gotten herself pregnant," said Richie. "Kids are useless."
"Well, it was you who got her pregnant, and why she isn't here today," said Mom. "Penelope is dead, and you are the one I hold responsible."
"I told Penelope that families are useless," said Richie. "When I was 10, my parents sent me off to military school. They did that to me just to get rid of me."
"They sent you there because you were a troubling child," said Mom. "I looked you up right after Penelope came to me that day. And after all of that, you don't even deserve to be a father. I adopted him and I'm making sure he doesn't end up like you."
"Fine!" said Richie. "Who do I care?! Kids are good for nothing, and they always will be!" He then started walking away. "I don't even know why they make places for kids." He was out of sight almost immediately.
"So, is that why you didn't want to let me know about my dad?" I asked Mom. "Because he was a huge jerk?"
"Yeah," said Mom. "He hates kids, and never wanted anything to do with you. One of these days, I'd like to know that he's been hit by a bus."
"Ah've always hated people with bad attitudes," said Aunt Buttercup. "But, ya did do Jacob right by keeping him and his father away."
"Ya got that right, Ma," said Apple Bloom. "Mind if we go and get somethin' ta eat?"
"I already ordered some food from The Cheesecake Factory," said Mom. "All we have to do is pick it up, and eat it at the RV."
"Sounds good," said Sweetie Belle. "Is that why you wanted us to take our order from that restaurant?"
"Yep," said Mom.
"Good call," said Nyx. She then looked over at Buttercup and asked, "Did you have some food at the Cheesecake Factory before?"
"There was a restaurant in Honolulu," said Buttercup. "I always got Evelyn's Favorite Pasta when I go there. It's always good wherever I go."
"Let's get going," said Mom.
We then headed on towards the closest Cheesecake Factory, picked up our order, and headed back to the RV. Buttercup and Apple Bloom picked up Cooper, and came back to the RV. Then we got the food in our bellies, and then headed off to bed. Tomorrow, we're all going on into the park.

Jacob's father is a man who hates kids. Not every one has a loving family. But sometimes, there are people who are there to help whenever they need comfort. If you know a child that has been having problem, help them out as much as you can and show them kindness.

(Jacob's Point of View)
That was a pretty long vacation at Disneyland. We got a lot of souvenirs while we were there. The girls enjoyed the World of Color show. Although, Mom warned them that if they got too close, they would get wet. Also, when we got on the rides that people could get wet from, we brought ponchos to keep us mostly dry.
Then we had a long drive back home to Orlando. It was past 11 when we got home, so we immediately went to bed. Apple Bloom went up with her mom to sleep together. Tomorrow, we were going to stay home, and relax.
Nyx's Dream...
(Third Person Point of View)
Nyx was walking somewhere in a void, in pony form. She was wondering where she was. Until she heard a faint voice.
"Nyx..."
Nyx stopped her walking and looked around for the voice. She looked and looked, but couldn't find where the voice was coming from.
"Nyx..."
She then turned towards where the voice was coming from. Then she saw a faint magenta light coming from where that voice was coming from.
"Nyx...!"
"Tw-Twilight?" Nyx asked.
"Nyx...!"
"Twilight!" Nyx then started running towards the light. Nyx then saw Twilight's body coming in from darkness., but was facing in the opposite direction. "Twilight!"
Twilight turned around and saw Nyx coming right towards her. Twilight was surprised to see her. She then got teary eyed, and opened up her forelegs to catch her. "Nyx! You're okay!"
"Twilight!" Nyx said, about to jump into her forelegs, but inspecting some physical connection, Nyx just went right through her, startling both of them.
"Gah!" exclaimed both of them.
"Tw-Twilight?!" Nyx asked. "What's going on?"
"I... I don't know," said Twilight. She then tried pulling Nyx in with her foreleg, but it went through her like she was a ghost. "This shouldn't be possible."
"Twilight? Where are we?" Nyx asked.
"This is a very straining mental merge," came a voice. Both Twilight and Nyx looked towards the voice, and there stood Princess Luna. "I'm sorry, Twilight, but this is the best I could do for you two to connect, but I guess it's still not enough to make a proper physical connection while in this shared dream." Princess Luna then stared into the eyes of Nyx, making her nervous.
"Princess Luna," said Twilight. "I know I was keeping this a secret from you and your sister, but you saw how timid she was around you during that dinner. She's a sweet filly, and wasn't acting like that wicked mare you were when we first encountered you."
"There is no need to do that, Twilight Sparkle," said Princess Luna. "For I have already seen inside this filly's mind since day one."
"You have?!" Twilight and Nyx shouted surprisingly.
"Yes," said Princess Luna. "I've seen how she is in her dreams. You've raised her properly, Twilight Sparkle. But, it was not enough to save her from that cult, known as the Children of Nightmare."
"But I thought they were all arrested," said Nyx. "That's what Twilight told me."
"That's what I thought," said Twilight.
"A total of three dozen members were arrested that night," said Princess Luna. "And when I sensed the power of the lightning bolt from Nyx, I knew that the Children of Nightmare had to sense it, too. My sister told me that it was nothing to worry about. I could tell she was lying, but she didn't know it was a truth either. I already saw into the filly's mind. But when I saw the filly's future, I saw that the Children of Nightmare had gotten her and turn her into Nightmare Moon."
"When will it happen?" asked Twilight.
"They got her... on the last day of school in Ponyville," said Princess Luna.
"WHAT?!" exclaimed Twilight and Nyx.
"But... that a month and a half ago!" said Twilight. "Wait a minute. Are you...?"
"The one responsible for sending Nyx and her friends to another world?" asked Princess Luna, finishing Twilight's question. "I am. I had to so they wouldn't get her. And I couldn't send her alone, so I had sent her friends along with her to a safe place with a safe, small family."
"Well, I have been safe here," said Nyx. "But, was it necessary to change our form?"
"It was best for you and your friends to blend in with the people of that world," said Princess Luna. "At least I got your enchanted glasses and vest to go with you."
"Yeah," said Nyx. "Thanks for that." Then she thought about the family she was sent to. Then Nyx said, "Oh. There's another thing. Apparently, we're not the first Equestrians to arrive in this world."
"You're not?!" asked Twilight.
"I assumed that some wondering souls ended up in that world," said Princess Luna. "There was a portal somewhere in the mountain. I sensed it after I was free from the darkness. So, I used my magic and shut it, and absorb it's power."
"So, you used that same magic to send Nyx and her friends to wherever she is," said Twilight.
"And those wandering ponies who got sucked into that portal," said Nyx, "I... happen to know who three of them might be. And one of them is still alive."
"You do? And there's just one?" Twilight asked. "Who are... er, were they?"
"All of them were in Applejack's family," said Nyx. "The last two were her parents. And the one before was the twin sister of Applejack's father. Applejack's aunt arrived when she was a filly. But she died nine years ago, giving birth to the kid that's living here, and he was adopted by the woman, who was the best friend to Applejack's aunt, who was named Apple Peel. And Applejack's father died when he was hit by a car, which is a horseless carriage in this world, and collided with a tree."
"And... Applejack's mom?" asked Twilight.
"She's still alive," said Nyx. "She was also hit by that car and collided with the tree, but instead of dying, she ended up with amnesia. For 8 1/2 years."
"This is interesting news," said Princess Luna. "Twilight Sparkle, I assume that you'll tell the Apple Family later after you wake up."
"I'll do my best," said Twilight. "What else do we need to know about this world, Nyx?"
"Well..." Nyx said. She then explained about the TV show and the story of Past Sins. She also explained that not everything in the show was accurate to what happened.
"This is interesting news," said Princess Luna. "And you say this... television... can be used for entertainment."
"Sometimes, they report news, and try to predict the weather," said Nyx. "Since the weather here works by itself and there is no magic."
"Sounds like this television could be useful in Equestria," said Princess Luna.
"Yeah," said Nyx. "Some channels are for educating young minds. Some are just for entertaining some. History, science and news reports."
"Sounds useful indeed," said Twilight. "But, not too much on certain channels."
"Indeed," said Princess Luna.
Then Twilight started fading, and Nyx saw her, saying, "Twilight. You're fading."
Twilight looked at herself and said, "What's happening?"
"You seem to be waking up, Twilight Sparkle," said Princess Luna. "And I believe it's time for you to wake up as well, Nyx. I shall tell you whenever the Children of Nightmare have been apprehended or if they're coming for you."
Then Nyx nodded. Then she remembered. "Wait. Twilight wait! The leader of that cult is..." But then a flash of light blinded her, then she woke up.
Real World...
(Jacob's Point of View)
Mom woke us up for breakfast. She and Aunt Buttercup made us some pancakes, eggs, hash browns and poured us some apple juice. At the table, it was just me, Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo. Nyx was still in bed. Mom made Nyx a plate and put it in the microwave to keep warm until Nyx woke up.
"I wonder what's taking Nyx so long," said Scootaloo.
"She's probably still sleepy after the long trip we had last night," said Mom.
"Yeah, Ah can understand that, mahself," said Buttercup. "When Applejack and Ah came back from a mother-daughter trip and came home late, Granny Smith let us sleep in so we would be well rested."
"Yeah, Ah guess Ah can understand that," said Apple Bloom. "Ah still remember when Applejack was overdoin' it on her chores when Big Mac injured himself, and it through out her social life. She messed up Rainbow Dash's stunt, she made terrible cupcakes with Pinkie Pie, she accidentally hurdled baby rabbits into Ponyville, making them eat all the flowers, and she wasn't wantin' any help on her chores when she actually needed it."
"Not everything can be done alone," said Mom. "I can understand that."
Then the sound of footsteps came from the hall. We saw Nyx coming from the hallway, heading right towards us, saying, "Everyone. I got news."
"What is it, Nyx?" asked Sweetie Belle.
"It turns out that it was Princess Luna that sent us here on purpose," said Nyx.
"Princess Luna?!" asked me, Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo and Aunt Buttercup.
"Why would she do that?" asked Apple Bloom.
"She did it to keep me away from that cult," said Nyx. "And she also sealed up that portal in that cave so nopony will ever stumble into this world by accident again."
"Well, that's good ta hear," said Apple Bloom. "But what about gettin' us home?"
"She won't bring us home until the cult has been stopped," said Nyx.
"Did you tell her who the cult leader is?" I asked.
"I was about to," said Nyx.
"What happened?" asked Scootaloo.
"I woke up," said Nyx. "And... at least I was able to get in touch with Twilight. Although, I couldn't touch her in the dream. I tried to, but we kept going right through each other."
"I'm guessing that Princess Luna couldn't get enough power for the two of you to at least touch each other?" asked Mom.
"Afraid not," said Nyx. "At least Twilight knows I'm okay."
"And Ah'm guessing she'll also tell her friends as well," said Apple Bloom.
"Yeah, I guess so," said Nyx. Then her stomach growled. Mom then brought out her plate and a glass of apple juice, and set them in her seat. She then started eating.
The girls and I were watching TV on the couch. Mom and Aunt Buttercup were trying to enjoy some peace and quiet outside. I was about to nod off until I heard the sound of knocking on the door came.
"Ah'll go get it," said Apple Bloom. She then headed for the front door, and opened it. "Lauren? What are ya doin' here?"
I then looked towards the front door, along with Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo and Nyx. There at the door was Lauren Faust. And parked in front of the house was a Ford Expedition Limousine. We headed for the door.
"Hey, kids," said Lauren. "Mind if I drop in for a visit?"
"Hang on," I said. "Apple Bloom, mind getting our moms?"
"Okay," said Apple Bloom. She then headed for the back door. Then later, she came back with Mom and Aunt Buttercup. They were surprised to see Lauren Faust at their front door.
"Lauren," said Mom. "What brings you here?"
"I came to see an old friend again," said Lauren. "Plus, I thought I should call in some old friends and introduce them to the girls." She then looked towards the limo, and waved towards it. Then, coming out of the limo came five women. I recognized these women from the internet. There was Tara Strong; the voice of Twilight Sparkle, Ashleigh Ball; the voice of Applejack and Rainbow Dash and various characters, Andrea Libman; the voice of Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy and more various characters, Tabitha St. Germain; the voice of Rarity and Princess Luna and various characters, and Cathy Weseluck; the voice of Spike and Mayor Mare and various characters.
"No way," I said.
"Who are they, Jacob?" asked Sweetie Belle.
"You'll see," I said. Then the six women came in. The five voice actors took a closer look at the Crusaders.
"So, these are the girls you were telling us about?" asked Andrea Libman.
"Yep," said Lauren. She then looked over at me and said, "I'm guessing you would like to do some introductions."
"With pleasure," I said. "Girls, these give actresses voice characters from My Little Pony. Mostly the main characters. Meet Tara Strong, Ashleigh Ball, Andrea Libman, Tabitha St. Germain and Cathy Weseluck."
"Pleased to meetcha," said Apple Bloom.
"Wow," said Ashleigh Ball. "You were right. She definitely does the voice perfectly. The hair, the eyes, the voice, they really are the Crusaders." She then looked at Nyx. "Although, I don't remember that girl in the show."
"Because she's Nyx from Past Sins," said Lauren. "Sorry about that."
"So, who do they voice in the show?" asked Sweetie Belle.
Lauren then looked over at the actresses and said, "Ready to say some lines in the show? As long as they're from the Season 3 premiere or before?"
The five of them nodded. Then Andrea Libman started doing the voice of one of the characters. "You! Just who do you think you are, going around turning others into stone? You should be ashamed of yourself. I have a mind to find your mother and tell her what you've been up to, young man. Now you go over there, and turn Elizabeak and my friend Twilight back to normal, and don't ever let me catch you doing this again. Do you understand me?"
"Fluttershy?!" exclaimed the girls.
"This woman played Fluttershy in the show?" asked Scootaloo.
"Not just Fluttershy," I said.
Then Andrea Libman started singing in a different voice. "She's an evil enchantress, She does evil dances, And if you look deep in her eyes, She'll put you in trances, Then what will she do? She'll mix up an evil brew, Then she'll gobble you up, In a big tasty stew, Soooo... Watch out!"
"She voices Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie?!" asked Sweetie Belle.
"That's right," said Andrea Libman in her Pinkie Pie voice. "So, don't get too confused. We might do something special for you."
"Wow," said Nyx. "That is kinda cool." She then looked over at Tabitha St. Germain and asked, "Who do you voice in the show?"
Tabitha St. Germain started doing a voice she did very well. " I understand. It's just that... I need this time to fill this order without any... complications. Okay, all done. Now, back to work. I've lost a lot of time, and I cannot have any more interruptions."
"Rarity?!" Sweetie Belle asked.
"That's not the only voice I can do," said Tabitha St. Germain. She then started talking in another voice. "You can consider me the guardian of your dreams from terrible nightmares."
"She plays Princess Luna, too?" asked Nyx.
"And Granny Smith," Tabitha St. Germain said in her Granny Smith voice. Then she switched to her Mrs. Cake voice. "And Mrs. Cake."
"Chiffon Swirl?" asked Buttercup.
"Wait a minute," said Ashleigh Ball. "I've heard that voice in one episode I did. Is that...?"
"Yep," said Lauren. "That's the mother of Applejack, Apple Bloom and Big Mac. Turns out, she was here for almost nine years."
"Well that's interesting," said Ashleigh Ball. She then started speaking in her Applejack voice. "Ah'm sorry, Apple Bloom. Ah already told you that we just can't take a break from harvest ta come to your school. Ya know what'll happen."
"Applejack?!" said Apple Bloom and Buttercup.
"That's not all I can do," said Ashleigh Ball. She then did another voice. "What about super-ultra-extreme-awesomazing?"
"Rainbow Dash?!" asked Scootaloo. "That is so awesome!"
You know it is, squirt," said Ashleigh Ball in her Rainbow Dash voice.
Then Apple Bloom looked over at Cathy Weseluck and asked, "Who can you do?"
She then spoke in the voice of Spike. " Look at all of you! We got: Hairity, Rainbow Crash, Spitty Pie, Apple Teeny, Flutterguy, and... uh... I got nothin'... Twilight Sparkle. I mean seriously, I can't even work with that."
"Spike?!" Nyx asked. "But, wouldn't it had made sense to use a young boy actor?"
"Not all boys can make the cut," said Cathy Weseluck. She then spoke in her Mayor Mare voice. "Thank you, everypony, and welcome to the Nightmare Night festival!"
"Wait," said Scootaloo. "She played Spike and Mayor Mare?"
"That's right," said Cathy Weseluck. "You'd be surprised how many characters we played in the show."
"Okay," said Nyx. "That's Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Princess Luna, Granny Smith, Mrs. Cake, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Spike and Mayor Mare. That just leaves..."
She was cut off by the voice of somepony she knew very well. "They still get to experience the thrill of discovering who they are, and what they're meant to be." Nyx then looked up at Tara Strong with wide eyes.
"Tw-Twilight?" Nyx asked.
"That's right," said Tara Strong. "I played Twilight Sparkle. So, the series, Friendship is magic, really happened."
"Yeah, but not everything about it was accurate," said Nyx.
"I was thinking that," said Tara Strong. "And I can't believe that the story, Past Sins, was also real. It was basically a fan fiction that was really likable. Maybe we should turn it into a miniseries."
"That actually sounds like a great idea," said Lauren Faust. "Although, we are going to need to let this Pen Stroke writer know about this. It would take time, but I'm sure it can be done."
"I would like seeing a miniseries based on Nyx's story," said Ashleigh Ball. "Although, we would have to make it suitable for children."
"And make sure it's accurate with the show," said Andrea Libman.
"So, what else do you wanna know about us?" asked Nyx.
We talked about the story of what the Crusaders went through. The actresses that played the Mane 6 and Spike were surprised to hear that Scootaloo was actually an orphan from Canterlot, and the leader was Abacus Cinch.
We then all headed out to eat at a Golden Corral. We all ate up, and then we headed on back home. Nyx immediately passed out on her bed.
"Nyx sure is tired," said Mom.
"She must've had a long day herself," said Aunt Buttercup. "Ah can understand that."
"Alright, kids," Mom said. "Head on to bed."
Equestria, That Same Morning...
(Third Person Point of View)
Twilight Sparkle was on her way to Sweet Apple Acres. She was running there and ended up at the house. Granny Smith was sitting on her rocking chair on the front porch.
"Well, howdy there, youngin," said Granny Smith. "What brings ya here?"
"I'm here to see Applejack," said Twilight. "I have to tell her something."
"Well, Applejack just finished up her chores and right before breakfast," said Granny Smith. "She should be standing in front of Apple Bloom's room. Go on up an' see 'er."
Twilight nodded and headed inside. She walked up the stairs and saw Applejack standing in front of Apple Bloom's room. "Applejack?"
Applejack didn't respond at first. She then said, "It sure has been quiet ever since the four of 'em disappeared."
"Yeah," said Twilight. "Everypony in Ponyville is already starting to miss them. Although, those two bullies from the school think they've ran away on purpose and they would never be anything useful in the future."
"Those two good fer nothing fillies," said Applejack.
"Applejack," Twilight said. "I have some news. Apparently, it was Princess Luna that sent the four of them to another world."
"Another world?!" asked Applejack.
"She was intending on keeping Nyx away from the cult," said Twilight. "But she knew that Nyx would be scared being in a whole different world all by herself, so she also sent Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo with Nyx."
"Okay," said Applejack. "Ah guess it makes sense ta send Nyx into a whole different world with no familiar faces."
"But the world they were sent to," Twilight said, "the girls weren't the first Equestrians in that world."
"They're not?" asked Applejack.
"Three of them were identified," said Twilight. "The first one was sent there when she was a filly. She died nine years ago giving birth. The other two came together. One was a stallion, and was the twin brother of the first pony I told you. The other was his wife. The stallion died after getting hit by a horseless carriage of that world almost nine years ago. The mare got hit too, but instead of dying, she ended up with amnesia. She forgotten everything before then. And she just got her memories back."
"Who were they?" asked Applejack.
"Well, I can tell you who that pony who's still alive is," said Twilight. "Applejack. That mare who is still alive... is your mom."
"What?!" Applejack shouted. "Ma is still alive? And on that other world?"
"Yes," said Twilight. "At least she got her memories back, and is helping out on watching the Crusaders."
"Ah can't believe it," said Applejack. She then paused for a moment and asked, "Do ya have any information on who the leader of that cult is?"
"Not yet," said Twilight. "Why?"
"Because we're gonna have ta take 'em down before they can get those dirty hooves on Nyx," said Applejack.
Author's Note
So, Nyx got a visit from Princess Luna and Twilight in her dream, and now the Mane 6 are going to find out who the cult leader is.
And the Crusaders got to meet the voices of the Mane 6, Spike and various characters of the show. Hopefully, things will be better for them from now on.

Chapter 11: Moving News
(Jacob's Point of View)
Mom said that when she got the promotion, we would be moving closer to Los Angeles. Her boss said that she can even live close to Disneyland for me and the girls to enjoy. Aunt Buttercup would also have to find a job there and get a car for herself when we eventually move there.
Mom flew on a plane and looking for a house close to Disneyland. Aunt Buttercup was staying home with us. Then we got a call from Mom and she thinks she found a good house for all of us. We went to Mom's computer, and looked up on the realtor website, and saw that this one house was very big. One room on the 2nd floor at the front of the house was very big. Big enough for the Crusaders to sleep in and have extra leg room to play. And it has a balcony that connects to another room, which Buttercup decided to take.
There was also one room with another balcony that connects to the master bedroom, which mom would take. And in between those two rooms, there was another room. Mom would use it as an office.
Mom allowed Buttercup to drive Mom's car all the way to California. The house was already emptied, but Nyx was still asleep. Buttercup carried her to the car, and put her in the seat between me and Apple Bloom.
"She looks so peaceful when she's asleep," said Buttercup.
"Yes, she is," I said. "Everything's all packed up?"
"Yeah," said Buttercup. "All of the keys were handed over ta the realty company. Y'all better get buckled up. We're headin' on back to California." We then drove off towards California. The moving company already took mom's stuff and some other things towards California in one moving truck. The rest was being pulled in another moving truck. I decided not to turn on a movie until Nyx woke up.
Nyx's Dream...
(Third Person Point of View)
Nyx was in the same void where she talked to Twilight and Princess Luna. She was looking around, trying to find a sign to see if there was anyone around. Then a light shined above her. She looked up and saw a full moon. Then Princess Luna emerged from it.
"Nyx!" Princess Luna said. "I came to warn you!"
"Warn me? About what?" asked Nyx, getting nervous.
"The Children of Nightmare!" said Princess Luna. "They're on their way to that world. And they'll stop at nothing to get you!"
"What?!" Nyx exclaimed. "How did they find me?!"
"Somehow, one of them snuck into the room of where you were before you ended up on the world you are currently in!" said Princess Luna. "You gotta get away from them before they can get their hooves on you!"
"But what about my friends?!" Nyx asked.
"Keep them safe!" said Princess Luna. "If only we knew who the leader of the Children of Nightmare is."
"Uh... Princess Luna..." said Nyx. "I... think I know who the leader of that cult is. I was trying to tell you last time, but you kinda forced me to wake up."
"Oh, I am sorry about that," said Princess Luna. "Now, who do you believe the leader of the cult is?"
"This world... it has a TV show... based on all of the adventures that Twilight and her friends had," said Nyx. "My story wasn't in the show, but it was a fan fiction. And in the story... the leader of the cult... is Spell Nexus."
"Spell Nexus?" asked Princess Luna. "That doesn't..." She then paused. She then went wide eyed in realization. "Wait a minute. It actually makes sense. My sister said that his special talent represents him making and understanding complicated spells. He's the one who came up with the ritual."
"And since it was him that gathered the shards that were peeled off of you," Nyx said, "it would make sense that he would be the first one corrupted by the darkness within those shreds."
"And must've known how to spread that darkness to different ponies," said Princess Luna. "He's good. Alright. I shall alert my sister and Twilight Sparkle about this. Thank you for the information, Nyx."
"We should at least get Twilight and her friends here with the Elements of Harmony," said Nyx. "They could be useful against the darkness."
"Yes, of course," said Princess Luna. "Twilight Sparkle and friends should be there to help stop those corrupted ponies. Stay safe, Nyx."
"I'll try," said Nyx. Then there was a flash, making Nyx wake up.
In front of Jacob's old house...
About five minutes after Buttercup and the kids drove off, a flash of light appeared. After the light faded, the Children of Nightmare, not in Pony form, stood there. Spell Nexus opened up his eyes and looked towards the house.
"Check that house and see if our lost queen is in there," said Spell Nexus.
"Spell Nexus," said Gray Gale. "I don't think she's in there anymore. Look." Gray Gale pointed a hoof at a For Sale sign.
"WHAT?!" shouted Spell Nexus. "No! Where is she?! Find her! And don't let anypony stop you from finding her!"
Somewhere on the road...
(Jacob's Point of View)
We were passing Lake City as soon as Nyx woke up. She took off her glasses, rubbed the sleepiness out of her eyes and then put them back on.
"Had a good nap?" asked Aunt Buttercup to Nyx.
"I just got another message from Princess Luna," said Nyx. "Apparently, the cult is on their way to this world. They're gonna try and get me."
"What?!" asked the rest of us.
"They should be in Orlando any moment now," said Nyx.
"Well, it's a good thing we left Orlando two hours ago," said Buttercup. "We're just passing Lake City. No way those bad ponies can catch up on foot."
"Yeah," I said. "No way those cult ponies turned humans will be able to catch up on foot."
"And they wouldn't have their magic," said Nyx. "Or any form of identification. They wouldn't even know how this world works."
Then Aunt Buttercup noticed something. She then pulled off the freeway, and then she pulled into a gas station. She got into one station, and got out of the car.
"Apple Bloom, you mind taking Cooper out so he can do his business?" Aunt Buttercup asked.
"Yes, Ma," said Apple Bloom. She then got out of the car, and then headed for the front seat on the other side of the car. She then opened the door and said, "C'mon, Cooper. Let's get ya to ya business."
The dog didn't move. He just tilted his head. Then I said, "Cooper. Pee-pee poo-poo."
Then Cooper got out of the car, and Apple Bloom got the leash, and attached it to Cooper's collar. Cooper then did his business and headed back to the car with Apple Bloom behind him. He then got back inside the car, and Apple Bloom closed the door. Then Aunt Buttercup finished up on filling the gas tank.
"Alright, kids," Aunt Buttercup said. "How about we get some doughnuts? We did miss breakfast."
"Yay!" said the girls.
Luckily, the gas station they were at share the building with a doughnut place. We went in, got some doughnuts and chocolate milk. We then headed back on the road.
"Let's hope the hotels we go to allow dogs," said Aunt Buttercup.
It took us a few days to get there, but eventually, we made it to where we had to go. When we got there, the trucks were already leaving the driveway. Then Aunt Buttercup pulled into the driveway where Mom was waiting by the front door. I got out of the car just as the car stopped.
"I was wondering when you all would get here," said Mom.
Then Aunt Buttercup and the Crusaders got out of the car. Aunt Buttercup said, "Sorry. We had to stop for the night in San Diego. Ah thought it might be best if the we arrived during the day."
"Good call," said Mom. "Well, c'mon, everyone. Let's get unpacking."
Then we all started unpacking. Luckily, the movers had already set up the beds in our rooms. I then let Mom know that Nyx was told by Princess Luna that the Children of Nightmare were coming after Nyx. We're just trying to keep Nyx safe, but now, she needs to be even more cautious.
"This is a pretty peaceful house," said Sweetie Belle.
"Yeah," said Scootaloo. "Kinda reminds me of Ponyville. Oh, god. I hope that everything is okay back there."
"Ah sure hope that Twilight, Applejack and their friends make it here," said Apple Bloom. "We gotta keep Nyx safe."
"Well, they have to be told first," said Scootaloo. "Nyx would most likely tell them when she goes to sleep tonight."
"Hopefully, they can make it," said Nyx. "I don't want to be that wicked mare. I wanna be my own pony."
"Mom?" I asked. "What are we gonna do if those bad ponies do find us?"
"We'll just have to be prepared for what's coming," Mom said. She then looked over at Nyx and said, "Remember this, Nyx. No matter what, whoever you decide to be is up to you. Don't let anyone decide who you wanna be."
Nyx nodded. She then headed upstairs to the room she shares with the other girls. I then started going up to follow her. I saw her go into her room. Aunt Buttercup saw her and wanted to go check on her.
"Nyx?" Aunt Buttercup asked. "Are you okay?"
"I don't know," said Nyx. "Right now, I am in danger. I don't wanna be an evil queen. I just wanna enjoy my life as a normal filly."
"Well," said Aunt Buttercup, "ya wanna be a normal filly. That's your choice. You are a happy little filly, and what makes ya truly happy is in yer heart."
"She's right," I said. "Nothing makes someone happy if their heart shows true happiness."
Nyx smiled, and said, "Thank you. I appreciate the advice."
"Yer welcome, kiddo," said Aunt Buttercup.
Then Apple Bloom came into the room, saying, "Hey, c'mon! Kathy's taking us all out for dinner at a place called John's Incredible Pizza."
"That pizza place has an arcade," I said. "Perhaps some games there will get rid of some worries."
"I guess that could work," said Nyx. Then we all got up, and headed out.
Equestria, Golden Oaks Library...
(Third Person Point of View)
Twilight and her friends were waiting for Princess Luna to sense Nyx when she falls asleep. She had her eyes closed, trying to sense Nyx falling asleep.
"Oh, I hope that she'll be fine," said Fluttershy.
"I'm sure of it," said Twilight. "Nyx and her friends know what's going on. She's smart."
"And yet, you raised her that way," said Rainbow Dash.
Twilight rolled her eyes and smirked. "I guess I kinda did. She really is a sweet filly."
"Ya can say that again, Twilight," said Applejack. "That filly sure is a good foal."
Princess Luna then cleared her throat and said, "She's asleep. Now I know her exact coordinates."
"You're gonna take us to them?" asked Twilight.
"I will," said Princess Luna. "And just in case, I shall be going with you just in case the ponies of that cult find her."
"How do you know those cult ponies are there?" asked Rarity.
"I know because the darkness that controls them originally come from me," said Princess Luna. "It's time to go. All six of you surround me. And don't forget the Elements."
Twilight then used her magic, and got the Elements on her and her friends. They then surrounded Princess Luna, and then she used her magic and teleported all of them towards the world where the Crusaders are.
It was the middle of the night. Nyx and her friends were still asleep in their beds. They were in a deep sleep to notice a flash of light appear in the room. In the room came Princess Luna, Twilight Sparkle and her friends. Twilight then walked over towards the bed with Princess Luna following. Twilight looked at the sleeping, human Nyx on her bed.
"So, this is her?" asked Twilight.
"Yes," said Princess Luna. "Right now, let them sleep. They're gonna be surprised when they wake up."
"What about your duties in Equestria?" Fluttershy asked.
"I got my sister to do my duties until I got back," said Princess Luna. "Now, all of you get some sleep. You all need your rest."
Then the six other mares nodded. Then Princess Luna levitated six sleeping bags towards them. Each of them had the colors of each mare and Cutie Mark engraved on them. When the girls wake up, they are gonna be in for a surprise.

Chapter 12: Reunion
(Third Person Point of View)
Nyx was stirring. She was waking up. She yawned, and stretched her arm. She headed out of the room, heading towards the bathroom. She didn't even notice the six ponies in the sleeping bags in the room as she was heading out of the room. She headed into the bathroom and did her business. Then she washed her hands, and started heading for the stairs, but then she fully woke up when she finally got the thought of something else was in the room she and the other Crusaders share.
She quietly went back into the room and saw Twilight and her friends sleeping in six different colored sleeping bags. She then quietly stepped towards the sleeping bag where Twilight Sparkle was sleeping in. Nyx then put a hand towards Twilight, and made contact. She could feel Twilight, breathing and her pulse pumping. Twilight then woke up, and looked at Nyx. She saw those familiar eyes that Nyx had. Twilight smiled and then pulled Nyx in for a hug.
"Oh, Nyx," Twilight said. "It's you. I'm so happy you're alright."
"I'm happy to see you, too, Twilight," Nyx said.
"We better prepare for what's coming," said Twilight. "That cult might be here any day."
"How did you get here?" asked Nyx. Then she noticed Twilight's form. "And how are you still a pony?"
"Princess Luna thought it might be best if we had our magic to stop that cult," said Twilight. "By the way, thanks for the tip. I still can't believe that all this time, Spell Nexus was the leader of that cult."
"You made me who I am, Twilight," said Nyx. "You really have cared a lot for me. I love you, Twilight."
"I love you, too, Nyx," said Twilight. "Now, how about we get the others up?"
Nyx nodded, and she started waking up the Crusaders and Twilight woke up her friends. Then the Crusaders and the Mane 6 came up to each other, hugging each other.
(Jacob's Point of View)
Nyx told us that the Mane 6 and Princess Luna appeared last night. Applejack couldn't believe that her own mother was here as well.
"Ah can't believe it," Applejack said. "Ma. Is it really you?"
"It's me, Applejack," said Aunt Buttercup. "Yer so big."
"Ah still can't believe it," said Applejack. "Yer alive." But then she sighed sadly. "Sure wish that Pa was still with us."
"Ah know, Applejack," said Aunt Buttercup.
Then Applejack looked over at me and said, "So, this kid... is the son of Pa's twin sister?"
"That's right," said Aunt Buttercup. "Applejack, meet yer cousin, Jacob."
Then Applejack pulled me in and said, "Well, nice ta meetcha, cuz. Ah can't believe that this is happenin'."
"I'm interested myself," said Twilight. "A kid who's half human, and half pony. I didn't even think that this is possible."
"This calls for a party!" Pinkie Pie said pulling all of us in for a group hug.
"Sorry, Pinkie," said Twilight, "but as long as we're here, we have too keep a low profile."
"Uhh!" said Rainbow Dash. "This is so boring! Why should we be inside?!"
"Well..." I said. "All of you are known in this world, but as fictional characters."
"Like some certain books?" asked Twilight.
"Sorta, but like comic books," I said.
"I can understand that," said Twilight. "So, let me guess, if we go out there, like this, this worlds government might track us down and probably do experiments on us."
"And we can't afford that," said Princess Luna. "We must not let that happen."
"So why didn't you transform us into this species as well?" asked Rarity, pointing at Sweetie Belle. "No offense, Sweetie Belle."
"None taken, Rarity," said Sweetie Belle.
"I was just exhausted getting all of us here," said Princess Luna. "Right now, we have to keep Nyx safe."
"We have to lay low for now," said Twilight. "Everypony in Ponyville was informed of the situation. Although, we couldn't find Scootaloo's family. They must be out of town."
Then everyone stared at Scootaloo. She was nervously blushing.
"Scootaloo, darling," Rarity said, "I was wondering, where are your parents at the moment?"
"Yeah," said Rainbow Dash. "They should know where you have gone."
I then looked over at Scootaloo and said, "I think it's time that they know what's going on."
Scootaloo was hesitant to say anything. Then she nodded. She then said, "I have a confession to make. Everypony... my family... they're all..." There were tears coming out of the corners of her eyes.
"You're an orphan... aren't you?" asked Rainbow Dash.
Scootaloo looked up at Rainbow Dash. She then let out some sobs. Rainbow Dash then hovered over to her and hugged her.
"Shh... Shh... It's okay," said Rainbow Dash. "You don't have to keep everything bottled up." Scootaloo hugged Rainbow Dash tight. Then Rainbow Dash thought of something and said, "Wait a minute. Ponyville doesn't have an orphanage. Where have to been staying?"
"With Mayor Mare," said Scootaloo. "I asked her to keep it a secret until it was okay with me."
Rainbow Dash thought about it. Then she said, "Well, things have been lonely up in my house when it's just me and Tank. I guess I could use a roommate up there."
"R-really?" asked Scootaloo.
"Yeah," said Rainbow Dash. "You're gonna love it up there. I promise. I'll even help you with learning how to fly."
"Really?!" Scootaloo asked, starting to get excited.
"I... hate to be a bearer of bad news," I said. "But, it seems that Scootaloo won't be able to grow big enough to get her off the ground."
"Well, what about magic?" Rainbow Dash asked. "Can't Twilight use her magic to make Scootaloo's wings big enough so she can at least fly herself?"
"Is there a spell for that?" Scootaloo asked Twilight.
"I think I can find something," said Twilight. "Although, we're going to have to wait until we get back to Equestria before we do that."
"Good call," said Rainbow Dash. "So, what should we do about those cult ponies?"
"We're gonna have to take them down, and keep them away from Nyx," said Twilight. "At least they don't have their magic, right?"
"Actually," said Princess Luna, "I assume they have to keep their magic if they're wanting to track Nyx. They might still be following her."
"What are we gonna do?" Fluttershy asked. "They could be here any minute."
"There's no way a bunch of ponies as a group can walk twenty-six hundred miles in a day," said Mom. "It would take like a month for someone to walk all the way from there to here."
"Not unless they fly as fast as me," said Rainbow Dash.
"Not unless you can go Sonic Rainboom fast from Orlando to here," said Mom. "Scootaloo told me about that."
"Makes sense," said Twilight.
"Hoowee," said Applejack. "Even Rainbow Dash won't have enough to get all the way there in one flight."
"Yeah," said Rainbow Dash. "I would need to take a half hour break every half hour." Then her stomach growled.
"Sounds like ya need some grub," said Aunt Buttercup. "Should we get cookin'?"
"Sounds good to me," said Mom. "Let's get some pancakes cooking."
Then Pinkie Pie came to the table they were all sitting at with a huge plate with pancakes on it, saying, "Who wants pancakes?!"
Buttercup was jaw dropped. Then she asked, "How did she do that?"
"Trust me, Ma," said Applejack. "It's best that ya just don't know and just accept it. We all did."
"Okay..." said Aunt Buttercup. "I'm gonna have to get used to this mare."
"Everypony in Ponyville already has," said Rainbow Dash.
"Yes," said Rarity. "In fact, Pinkie Pie throws parties for newcomers to Ponyville. Sometimes, she doesn't need a reason to throw a party."
"Wow," said Buttercup. "I got a whole lot ta get through."
"Ya'll get used ta it, Ma," Apple Bloom said.
Grand Canyon...
(Third Person Point of View)
There were some tourists taking in the sights of the place. There were a bunch of families especially. A family was looking over the edge, looking down at the bottom of the canyon. It was a family of a man, a woman and a little girl. The little girl was bored out of her mind, until she saw something going through the bottom of the canyon.
The little girl grabbed a pair of binoculars, and looked down the canyon. She saw ponies from Equestria running and flying across the bottom of the canyon.
"Mommy! Daddy!" said the little girl. "Look! There are colorful ponies down there!"
The little girl's parents looked down and saw what she was seeing. Along with other people. They were all surprised to see what the little girl was seeing.
But the ponies all of those people were seeing were really Spell Nexus and the Children of Nightmare. He was leading the Children of Nightmare through the bottom of the Grand Canyon. They were heading west towards California.
"Do not worry, my queen," said Spell Nexus. "For your loyal servants will be coming to save you."
The people watching from above were taking pictures and recording footage of them. They were all surprised to see so man Equestrian Ponies going through the Grand Canyon.
Back in Anaheim...
(Jacob's Point of View)
I showed the Mane 6 and Princess Luna the show. They were astonished about the series. Each member called out something in the show that didn't happen.
"So, this is show is based on our world," said Twilight Sparkle. "You were right. Not everything in the show is accurate."
"And I'm surprised to see that our first adventure together was nearly completely accurate," said Rainbow Dash. "Of course Scootaloo wasn't in Ponyville yet."
"I know right?!" Pinkie Pie asked. "It was thanks to this show how I was able to help write the script for the play."
Then we all looked at Pinkie Pie. Then I asked, "Wait a minute. You came here and got the script from the show to be put in the play? Well that explains why you said you read the transcript."
"How did you even get here?" asked Twilight.
"Well..." Pinkie Pie started. She then started explaining. Which was actually this story.
"The Talent Enhancer?!" asked Twilight. "What else have you done when searching for Rainbow Dash?!"
"You don't wanna know..." Pinkie said embarrassed.
"So, you destroyed half of Ponyville doing that Double Rainboom?" asked Aunt Buttercup. "Ah don't think Ah would've handled that much destruction."
"Well, at least I learned my lesson," said Rainbow Dash. "Never take anything that isn't yours without asking for permission first."
Then Mom got a phone call. She then answered it. "Hello? Oh, hey, Lauren." She paused for a second. She then went wide eyed and said, "What?!" She then grabbed the TV remote and turned the channel so it would show the news.
"What's going on?" asked Twilight. She then saw the Children of Nightmare going across the California-Arizona border. She then asked, "Is this a part of the show?"
"No," said Mom. "This is happening right now."
"They're coming for Nyx," said Princess Luna.
"What are we going to do?" asked Nyx. "I don't wanna be Nightmare Moon."
"We can't let that happen," said Twilight. "Everypony and body, we have to prepare. We can't let them take Nyx."
Author's Note
Twilight and her friends have reunited with the Crusaders, but they're not out of the woods yet. The Children of Nightmare are on their way to Anaheim to get Nyx and turn her into Nightmare Moon. This is going to be another adventure that the Mane 6 are going to have trouble getting through.

All of us were watching the news for the next couple of days. And just today, the Children of Nightmare have arrived in Anaheim. We watch them enter Disneyland Resort and came into the center of it. They were grouping up in front of the gates of Disneyland Park and California Adventure.
News vans were all over the place, and the news that we were watching was getting their equipment set up. Lori Wallace from Good Day Sacramento walked up to one of the ponies with a cameraman behind her. She held up her microphone, saying, "Good day, everyone, I'm Lori Wallace, reporting live from the Disneyland Resort. The reports of ponies similar to the ponies from the show, "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic," have all came to life, and are doing something. " She walked up to one pony and asked, "Excuse me. Do you mind if I ask you some questions? Who you are? What you're doing here, and what you are doing right now? "
Then from the crowd of ponies came Spell Nexus with a sinister grin on his face. He then noticed the camera and said, "What in Tartarus is that? Is that box stealing our souls? "
"This is a Television Camera, " said Lori Wallace. "It reports news to all over the country. Sometimes for shows. Anyway, can you please answer some questions? "
"All I have to say is one thing, " said Spell Nexus. He then looked into the camera and said, "Listen to me. Whoever has Nightmare Moon, bring her here. We're here to save her from those dreadful lies and false happiness that she has been given. She is meant to rule over our world in a glorious eternal night, and she is not doing what she needs to be doing. Stopping the tyrants Celestia and Luna, and should be bathed in glory as Equestria's true queen. Whoever has her, bring us our queen... or else the Children of Nightmare shall destroy this park with all of these pathetic humans inside. You have until sunset tonight to bring her. " He then pushed the camera down to the ground, cracking the camera screen. The cameraman then pulled it up and pointed the camera towards Lori Wallace.
"Back to you, Cody, " she said.
Mom then turned off the TV and we all looked at each other in worry.
"If we don't turn Nyx in, then thousands of people will be hurt," said Mom.
"But if we do that, all of Equestria will be drown in an eternal night," said Twilight. "We can't let those ponies take Nyx away and turn her into Nightmare Moon."
Nyx wrapped her arms around her legs and started shedding some tears. Twilight then grabbed her and hugged her tight.
"What are we going to do?!" asked Rainbow Dash. "We can't let Nyx be taken by those ponies, they're not soundly minded!"
"I gotta go," said Nyx.
"WHAT?!" we all shouted.
"Nyx, no!" said Apple Bloom. "Ya know what'll happen if ya go there. Y'all become Nightmare Moon."
"I know," said Nyx. "But, there's no other way. All of those people will get hurt I don't go."
"There is only one thing we can do," said Princess Luna. "It might take some drastic measures, but it has to be done."
"We're not killing Nyx!" shouted Twilight. That made Twilight's friends and the Crusaders gasp.
"I wasn't going to say that, Twilight Sparkle," said Princess Luna. "The only option... is to remove the memories and most of Nyx's magic."
"WHAT?!" shouted all of us.
"But... she won't be able to do powerful magic," said Twilight.
"It'll grow back over time," said Princess Luna. "And after this is done, what they will accomplish will be all for not. Nyx will finally be who she wants to be."
"Nyx shouldn't have to go through this," said Twilight. "She deserves to learn as much magic she wants to, and she needs a lot of magic to do it."
"Twilight..." said Princess Luna. "There is no other way. We must..."
Nyx got out of Twilight's hold, and headed upstairs. We heard her slam the door shut. We all looked up the stairs, feeling bad for Nyx.
"Poor Nyx," said Apple Bloom. "She doesn't wanna give up her magic."
"I can understand that," said Twilight. "It's not right for Nyx to lose her magic like that in order to keep her safe."
"Nyx needs someone to comfort her right now," said Mom.
"I'll do it," I said. "I'll go talk to her." I then headed up the stairs and went to the room Nyx and the other girls share. I knocked on the door and said, "Nyx? You mind if I come in and talk to you?"
There was silence for a few seconds. But then the door opened. Nyx had her glasses off, but her eyes had a little red in them. She then asked, "What?"
"Listen, I know you're upset," I said. "I'm sure that in time you'll get your magic back eventually. But right now, those mind controlled ponies are willing to threaten all of the people here if we don't stop them."
"But if I give up my magic, they'll destroy all the people here anyway," said Nyx. "I can't let anyone in this world get hurt. And I can't hurt any of my friends and family. Twilight's the best mom I ever had. Well, she's the only mom I ever had."
"Nyx," I said, putting my hand oh her shoulder. Then I guided her back into the room she and the Crusaders share. We then sat on Nyx's bed. "I know that things are bad, but there are things that will lead to the greater good. My birth mother gave up her life and have her best friend take me in so I could live a happy life. Bad things happen, but then those bad things end up going good. Sometimes, sacrifice is one of the biggest things to do if it means protecting those around you."
Nyx thought about it. Nyx looked over at me, smiled and nodded. She then said, "I guess you're right. If it means protecting my friends, I would give up my life to save them. And as long as I'm standing, I'd protect everypony I love."
I patted her back and said, "That's it, Nyx." Then there was a flash coming from Nyx's thighs, even though they were covered up by her skirt. "In fact, in the story, you said words similar to that and gained your Cutie Mark. Speaking of which, I could've sworn I saw a faint glow coming from under your skirt."
Nyx then looked down. She leaned on her right leg, grabbed the left bottom side of her skirt, and pulled it up. There, surprising us both, was a Cutie Mark. A navy blue, kite like shield with silver outlines, and a normal blue crescent moon inside she shield. We then looked at each other, jaw dropped. Nyx then covered it back up, then we got up and headed back downstairs.
Nyx then said, "I'll do it. I'll give up my magic to keep my friends safe."
Twilight walked up to her and said, "Are you sure, Nyx? It's a huge risk for you to take."
"I'm sure," said Nyx. "I have to do this. For everyone. On Earth... and Equestria."
"There's also one more thing," I said. I nodded towards Nyx and said, "Show 'em."
Nyx nodded, and then pulled up her skirt a little, revealing her Cutie Mark. Everyone there had their jaws dropped in shock. Except for Buttercup.
"You got you're Cutie Mark?!" asked Scootaloo. "As a human?! How?!"
"I don't know," said Nyx. "It just appeared."
"What does it mean?" asked Apple Bloom.
"I think it means she'll grow up and protect all those she loves," said Buttercup. "Isn't that right?"
"I think so," said Nyx. She then sighed. "So, I guess that means I can't be a Crusader anymore."
"Whoa, whoa, whoa," I said. "Just because you already have your Cutie Mark, it doesn't mean that you can't help the others find theirs."
"Huh," said Sweetie Belle. "I don't think we put that rule in our club."
"Nyx, you're always a Crusader to us," said Scootaloo.
"No matter what," said Apple Bloom.
Then the four girls hugged each other, and all of the others were happy for them. Including Rainbow Dash. She was shedding a few tears, then she said, "Darn it! Now you've gotten me all sappy!"
That made all of us laugh.
"Okay," said Princess Luna. "We got until sunset until the deadline ends. We should do this."
"From where?" asked Mom.
Disneyland Resort
(Third Person Point of View)
All of the people were watching the Children of Nightmare set up four pillars, and keeping people trapped in the parks by the gates, no way in, and no way out. They were keeping eyes out for anyone who would want to unravel their plans. Spell Nexus used his magic to disarm all the weapons that the police, military and any other United States Force in the country.
Spell Nexus was getting impatient when it came to waiting for those people who had Nyx.
"Where are they?!" said Gray Gale. "Whoever these humans with our queen are, they should be here by now."
"Patience, Gray Gale," said Spell Nexus. "They should arrive soon. They wouldn't want anything to happen to these good people, would they?"
Then coming out from the crowd was Jacob, and he was carrying something. It looked like Nyx in her pony form, and disguised. But she didn't have the Cutie Mark. Spell Nexus walked up to Jacob, and Jacob was getting nervous. Spell Nexus then smiled at him.
"Do not worry, your little head, child," said Spell Nexus. "You have been a great contributor to saving Equestria from the tyrants of the sun and moon." He then used his magic and took Nyx out of Jacob's arms.
"Now, let all of the people go," said Jacob.
"These people will be released," said Spell Nexus. Then he chuckled. "After the ritual is finished. Now, go on to your parents, and stay a clear distance."
Spell Nexus carried Nyx to the four pillars and set her on a pillow that was in the middle of the pillars. He then turned around, facing his brothers and sisters of Nightmare.
"My brothers and sisters," said Spell Nexus. "Today is where we take back Equestria. Nightmare Moon shall be given the chance to finally take back what was taken from her. Lend me your magic and power, and we shall take back Equestria!"
The Children of Nightmare cheered. Then they let all of their magic flow towards the pillars. They were doing a similar ritual that they did when they first tried creating Nightmare Moon until Princess Celestia interrupted the ritual. But there was no interruptions.
Some military men with guns quickly ran up to Jacob and pulled him back over to the crowd who was watching the Children of Nightmare with what they were doing. But what the Children of Nightmare didn't know was that what was in the middle of the pillars wasn't Nyx, but a lifelike dummy.
The Children of Nightmare had given as much magic as they could to turn the Nyx dummy into Nightmare Moon. When they finished... nothing happened.
"What?!" shouted Spell Nexus. He then ran over to the dummy, picked it up in his magic, unzipped the zipper on the vest, and underneath the opening of the vest, there was a note that said, "Sucker!" Spell Nexus then shouted, "NOOOO!!" He then looked towards Jacob with a very angry look. "You! What have you done?!"
"Why would I give something to someone that would lead to a world's self destruction?!" shouted Jacob. "You do know that you won't have enough time to get all of the plants of Equestria that thing you'll use to keep them alive without sunlight! You should've done that months ago before you have Nyx become Nightmare Moon!"
"You don't know what you're talking about!" said Spell Nexus.
"It's science," I said. "You should've known that. Not all plants can live without sunlight, and you can't do it all. You'll kill all the plants, and eventually, everyone in Equestria."
"He has a point, Nexus!" came Twilight Sparkle's voice. She and the rest of the Mane 6 came in from behind Jacob. "Not everything can survive without sunlight! You should've known that!"
"Twilight Sparkle?!" asked Spell Nexus. He then noticed what the Mane 6 were wearing. "The Elements of Harmony?!" He then groaned furiously and then shouted, "Get them!"
Then all of the Children of Nightmare charged at the Mane 6. This was going to be one intense battle for the sake of two worlds.

It was three days since the incident. The good news is that the Children of Nightmare have been stopped. The bad news is, my mom lost her life. She saved me, but I'm upset that she killed. The United States Government alerted all of those who were friends and family of her, and today was her funeral. Even Lauren Faust and the main cast of My Little Pony: Friendship is magic showed up.
Applejack, Apple Bloom and Buttercup stood right next to me right as the casket was being lowered into the ground. Lauren Faust then came up to us.
"I'm sorry about Kathy," said Lauren. "She was the best friend anyone would ever ask for."
"Lauren," I said. "Do you think... she'll be fine up there?"
"I'm sure she'll be fine," said Lauren. "She and your birth mother wouldn't want you dead, but to keep living. You're such a sweet boy."
"She's right, Jacob," said Buttercup. "Y'all are such a sweet boy. But Ah think that she would want ya to be with yer real family. The true family you should be with."
"Are you... offering me to come back to Equestria with you?" I asked.
"Are we, Ma?" asked Apple Bloom.
"But, ain't he human?" asked Applejack.
"Technically, half human," said Lauren. "His father was a human who didn't want a kid. And his birth mother was Equestrian. I think he should be with his real family, and get all the love he deserves."
"And Ah guess we can make him a room to live in," said Applejack. "Along with an extra room for Ma since Big Mac over Ma and Pa's old room."
"Understandable," said Aunt Buttercup. "How about we all go pack up the things from yer home, and then we'll take it with us to Equestria."
"Will technology even work in Equestria?" I asked.
"Not unless we reverse engineer all of it," came Twilight's voice. She and Nyx were walking up to us. "We'll be able to share all of the technology of this world with Equestria, and might make things easier for everyone. As long as the things on TV shows are okay with teaching stuff or reporting news."
Then Princess Luna walked up to them. "I believe that when you turn into a pony, there might be times you might miss being human."
"Are you saying I would be a pony if I go to Equestria?" I asked.
"Indeed," said Princess Luna. "But, I have a solution for that."
Equestria...
Princess Luna took us, and the former Children of Nightmare back to Equestria. When I went there, I became an Earth Pony. I had the same colors as Applejack, but my mane and tail also had red and light green streaks. I even had some freckles I knew I never had when I was human. As for Nyx, she was revealed to all of Equestria. Princess Celestia and Princess Luna made sure that Nyx would not be taken away or locked up for crimes she didn't commit, because it wasn't technically her who did those crimes. Just like in the story, "Nightmare or Nyx? , Granny Smith is not okay with Nyx coming over because she thinks that Nyx is Nightmare Moon.
But she was surprised to see Buttercup back in Equestria. It would take a while for her to convince Granny Smith isn't a threat, but I know eventually, Nyx will be accepted. Granny Smith was even surprised to know that she has a grandson born from her missing daughter, Apple Peel, mainly me.
Buttercup was surprised to see that her oldest child was as big as Bright Mac now. And as for Cooper, we brought him with us, and he's having a lot of fun with Winona. Pinkie Pie threw a welcome party for me and a welcome back party for Aunt Buttercup. And Twilight Sparkle officially adopted Nyx as her daughter. Princess Celestia also told Twilight to make sure that Nyx gets a good foalhood.
The Apples made a guest house for me and Buttercup to live in. Buttercup would go in to check on her kids, mostly Apple Bloom, but she is doing her best to watch over all of us. Our guest house has a big bedroom for the Crusaders to sleep in together. Granny Smith still ain't happy about Nyx staying over because of what she looks like.
That night, Princess Luna came by with something for me.
"Princess Luna?" I asked.
"Hello, Jacob," said Princess Luna. "I've brought something for you." She levitated a box to me. I took it and opened it up. Inside, there were a bunch of wristbands. I was confused on these things. Then she said, "Go ahead. Put one on."
I did, and when I did, a flash of light surrounded me, and when the light faded, I looked down at myself. I have become an anthro pony. I even had some clothes on.
"What?" I asked. "How did...?"
"I just thought that you would like to feel a little human and still a pony," said Princess Luna. "I even made some for the Crusaders in case they wanna be like that. Mostly to play these... video games you call."
"I get it," I said. "If we put these on, we'll feel a bit of both like a human and like a pony."
"Exactly," said Princess Luna. "I shall see you in your dreams." She then saw my collection of the My Little Pony series for DVD. She looked over at me and said, "Let me guess. A goodbye present from Lauren Faust before coming here?"
"Yep," I said. "I don't plan on showing the episodes until the certain time has passed."
"Good call," said Princess Luna. "I'm sure you'll enjoy your time here in Equestria."
I nodded. Princess Luna then left, and then I headed for the couch. I covered up, took off the wristband, went back to full pony, and went to sleep.
The next day, the Cutie Mark Crusaders were staying over. Rainbow Dash wants Scootaloo to stay over with me so she could go to Cloudsdale and get her parents to meet Scootaloo. Buttercup was happy to be back home, and she watched over all of us.
"So, these wrist bands can change you into anthro ponies?" asked Aunt Buttercup.
"Yep," I said. "Princess Luna just gave them to me last night. It'll be a lot fun."
"So, Jacob," said Apple Bloom. "What's next in the series?"
"Depends," I said. "Either it's the events of Trinkets or... Meh. I think I'll try to prevent the event of the next episode in the series."
"What do you mean?" asked Nyx.
"You don't wanna know yet," I said.
"So, ya wanna play some video games?" asked Apple Bloom.
"Sure," I said. Then the five of us put on the wristbands, and became anthro ponies. Good thing that the bands also clothed us when we transform. I looked at the bags that the Crusaders brought and saw Smarty Pants sticking out of one of Nyx's saddlebags. I then asked, "Is that Smarty Pants?"
"Oh, yeah," said Nyx.
"Let me guess," I said. "When you saw that episode where Twilight was trying to make a friendship problem for her to solve, you saw Smarty Pants, and thought it looked like fun to play with, and you wanted to play with her?"
"Um, yeah," said Nyx.
"Oh, yeah," said Apple Bloom. "When Applejack saw that Gabby Gums column with Big Mac with that doll, Applejack and Granny Smith said that Big Mac shouldn't have that and it was too personal for Twilight. Applejack told me to give it back ta Twilight, and she put it back into that chest."
"And one night, Twilight was too busy downstairs when I went to that chest," said Nyx. "I only meant to play with her for a little bit, but..."
"You fell asleep?" I asked. "And then the next day, Twilight said you could keep her?" Nyx nodded. "That was basically what happened at the end of Trinkets. So, that means the next event might be... "Too Many Pinkie Pies." And I'm gonna try to prevent that."
"Too many Pinkie Pies?!" asked Scootaloo. "What, are the changelings back?"
"No," I said. "Pinkie Pie cloned herself. And the clones got out of hand."
Then we all shivered. Then Sweetie Belle said, "We can't let that happen. One Pinkie Pie is enough."
"Just wait until you meet Cheese Sandwich," I said.
"Who?" asked Apple Bloom.
"You know that one musical artist from my world, "Weird Al" Yankovic?" I asked. The girls nodded. "Well, Cheese Sandwich looks and was voiced by that artist. You'll see him on Rainbow Dash's birthday."
"Jacob," Nyx said. "Are you going to be okay with all of this?"
"Mom would want me to be with a happy family," I said. "She would've wanted me to be happy."
Then Aunt Buttercup came up to me, grabbed me with a foreleg, and pulled me in, and said, "Yer a good kid. Ah'm sure that yer mothers would want you to be with the best parts of yer family."
"Thanks, Aunt Buttercup," I said, returning the hug.
"Don't play too much on that game, kids," said Aunt Buttercup, breaking the hug. "Remember, Apple Bloom, Jacob, y'all got chores ta do. Ah might as well get back into shape since it's been years since I've bucked a tree."
"Okay," said the Crusaders and I. We then played our game until it was 9:00.
Later that night, I was having trouble falling asleep. I got up from my bed, went to the kitchen and tried to fill up a glass of water. I couldn't reach the faucet, whether I was a normal pony, or anthro. But then I got lifted off the ground for a closer reach. I turned my head and saw Aunt Buttercup lifting he with her mouth. I then turned on the faucet, filled up the glass, then turned off the faucet.
"Thanks, Aunt Buttercup," I said.
"Yer welcome, Jacob," said Aunt Buttercup. "So, Ah haven't seen much of the series when Ah was here. When did Ah make a full debut in the show?"
"Season 7," I said. "The Apple siblings were told about the story of you and Bright Mac. And the feud."
"Oh," said Aunt Buttercup. "So, ya know that mah real name is..."
"Pear Butter," I said. "The siblings weren't told the true story until Grand Pear came back to Ponyville."
"Mah Pa came back?" asked Aunt Buttercup.
"Big Mac and Applejack still believe that the feud is still active," I said. "In this order, the Apple Siblings were told the story by these four ponies. Goldie Delicious, Burnt Oak, Mrs. Cake, and Mayor Mare."
"Ah'm sure that this will all blow over," said Aunt Buttercup. "So, when in the series does Grand Pear come?"
"Season 7, and here is the start of Season 3," I said. "You got time."
"Yeah, Ah guess Ah do," said Aunt Buttercup. I then drank my water. "Alright, Jacob. It's time fer ya ta go to bed."
I yawned and nodded. "Good night, Aunt Buttercup."
"Good night, Jacob," she said back to me. I then headed back to the couch, and I fell to sleep. At least I'm actually still with family. And my deceased loved ones are in my heart.

I lived my whole life in Orlando, Florida. For nine years, I was pretty happy. My name is Jacob Malcolm. I live with my single mom here. I loved playing video games, having a lot of fun playing with my friends, and I enjoyed the old show, My Little Pony: Friendship is magic. Sure, the show ended when I was four, but I love watching all of the episodes.
My mom, Kathy Malcolm, works as an IT manager. She wants me to have what is best for me, and she has been doing it. I loved her for being able to take care of me, and keeping the both of us happy. We live in a two apartment house, but I was wondering, why is the entry to the house above us blocked off? I asked Mom why that was, but she told me that the bank told her that nobody should go up into that apartment. For some weird reason, it sounded like she was keeping something from me, but Mom knew what was best for me, and she made me happy, so I let it go.
Today, Mom was happy on how well my grades were in school. I got a four point two-five GPA. Mom was so happy for me, she would take me and some of my friends to Disney World this late June. I couldn't be happier than anything else in my life. But to make a small celebration, Mom and I decided to go see a movie. We were on our way back, but when we got out of the movie theater, it was pouring down hard.
"That's weird," said Mom.
"What is it, Mom?" I asked.
"It was supposed to be a nice, sunny day all day, today," said Mom.
I got confused as well. How did a weird storm cloud just appear in the middle of the day when there wasn't a cloud in the sky earlier. I wonder what was going on. Mom told me to stay in inside until she brought the car up to the curb. She drives a 2021 Dark Blue Ford Flex with DVD players on the back of the headrests of the front seat and the back seat for viewers in the third row to watch the movie as well.
Mom then got out of the car, and she ran over to me, picked me up, and ran to the car, and I got my seat belt on and then she got back in the car, and then we headed off somewhere. Mom drove us home, and when we got there, we were going to order pizza for dinner. Mom would get her usual Cowboy Pizza when I get a vegetarian pizza.
For some weird reason, my digestive system forbade me from eating any meat. Even the doctors were wondering why that was. Mom kept telling me that there is nothing wrong with me, and I wasn't going to let anything bad happen to me. I'm happy that she would do that. She has been taking care of me. Even before I started preschool. Mom was a single mother, but couldn't leave me alone by myself. She took me everywhere with her until I started preschool. She took me with her to work, and whenever I was sick, mom decided to work from home so she would be able to take care of me and keep working.
When we got home, we saw something on our front porch that we weren't expecting at all. Laying down in front of the front door were four girls, around my age... and all of them were unconscious. We pulled into the drive way, and we went towards the front door to check on the girls. The girls were weird looking.
One of them was a little bulky. She had pastel red hair, and a pink bow in her hair. She wore a yellow shirt with an orange apple on it, Levi Denim Shorts, and orange shoes with red soles.
The next one was dainty. She had a light skin tone. Her hair was two toned in weird colors. Light purple and pink. She was wearing a white blouse with some flowery short sleeves, a pink skirt that reached down to her knees, and light blue snap on shoes and white socks underneath.
The third girl wasn't as skinny as the second girl, but she didn't seem all that healthy. But she had an okay skin tone. She had purple hair that was a little darker than the hair on the second girls head. She was wearing an orange shirt with a darker orange wing on the front. She had some green shorts on, and she had some purple sneakers on her feet.
The last girl has a darker skin shade, not black, but she's still a medium dark. She has dark purple hair, light purple glasses, a black shirt underneath a purple and black vest. A teal and turquoise headband was on her head. And she also has on a skirt similar to the second girl's, but it was turquoise. Her shoes were purple and black soles on the bottom.
"Who are these girls?" asked Mom. "Are they friends of yours from school?"
"I haven't seen these girls in my life," I told her.
"Well, let's get these girls inside," said Mom. "I'll start with the one with the bow, you start with the one with the purple and pink hair. Then we'll get the others."
Mom and I carried two of the four girls inside. We set them on the couch. Mom waited on calling out for pizza until we get this situation settled.
"I haven't seen these girls before..." I said. "...but for some weird reason, they look... familiar."
"Are you sure, honey?" Mom asked. "Where could you have seen girls like this? In your school cafeteria?"
"Mom," I said. "I got the yearbook already. And I saw all of the kids in my yearbook, but these girls aren't in any of the classes in school."
"Then, where are these girls from?" asked Mom.
The sound of someone groaning came. We looked over at the girls. The girl with the glasses and dark purple hair was starting to wake up. She looked around and got confused. Then she saw us. She then screamed, waking up the other girls. They all looked around, and got worried. Then they saw each other and screamed at each other. Then they looked at their arms and screamed again.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa! Take it easy!" Mom said, trying to calm the girls.
"Who are you?! Where are we?! What have we turn into?!" the glasses wearing girl questioned.
"Applejack! Granny Smith! Big Mac!" shouted the red haired girl in a southern accent. "Any pony!"
"Wait a minute," I said. "Mom, can I talk to you in your room?"
"Okay," said Mom. Then she and I walked into the hall. She then turned back to the four girls and said, "You four stay there. Don't move."
The girls nodded and stayed there. Mom walked into her room where I was waiting for her.
"Alright, honey," said Mom. "Do you know who they are?"
"I think so," I said. "You might not believe me... but I think three of those girls are... the Cutie Mark Crusaders from My Little Pony."
"My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic?" Mom asked. "That show you watch on Netflix?"
"Yeah," I said. "But, I haven't seen or heard of that girl in any of the show. I have no idea who she is."
"Are you sure?" asked Mom. "Are you sure those girls are from that show?"
"You saw how they reacted when they saw each other. And themselves," I said.
"Are you sure you haven't seen that last girl?" Mom asked. "Who is that?"
"I don't know," I said. "Maybe we should ask them to make sure if it's really them."
"Good Idea, sweetie," said Mom, patting my head with her right hand. We then got heard by one girl laughing. We were wondering what was going on. We came into the room and saw that one of the girls was being licked by our dog, Cooper. He's a Collie dog. He was licking the girl that looks like Apple Bloom.
"Down dog!" said the red haired girl when laughing. "Down!"
"Hey! Cooper! Down!" said Mom. Then Cooper got down from the girl, and walked over to us. "Alright, girls. Do you mind telling us your names."
"Ah'm Apple Bloom," said the red haired girl.
"I'm Sweetie Belle," said the second girl.
"The name's Scootaloo," said the third girl.
"I'm Nyx," said the girl with the glasses.
I then widened my eyes. I heard that name. Now I know who this girl was. She was Nyx. The supposed to be reincarnated Nightmare Moon from the fan fiction, Past Sins by Pen Stroke. I had to make sure that these girls were from the series. I then asked, "What was the last thing you remember before waking up?"
"Well," said Scootaloo. "The last thing I remember was being at a sleepover at Apple Bloom's place. We were finished listening to Sweetie Belle's story about the funniest thing that happened to her sister, Rarity."
"Then mah sister banged on mah door, and told us to go to sleep," said Apple Bloom. "Then, we woke up here, like this."
"Okay," I said. "Hang on a second. C'mon, Cooper." Then the three of us headed back into Mom's room. Then we closed the door. I then said, "That girl last girl is Nyx from a MLP fan fiction called Past Sins. She's supposed to be a reincarnated villain from the show given a body of her own, but the ritual was interrupted by Princess Celestia. And the timeline of that show was supposed to be during Season 3 out of nine."
"That means that these kids probably have no idea what is up?" asked Mom.
"No idea," I said. "I just hope that they know how to walk like us." Then the sound of pounding on the floor came from the living room. We went back into the living room, and saw the four of them crawling on all fours. Trying to get across the room.
"What are you four doing?!" Mom asked, getting the attention of the four little ponies turned humans.
"We're trying to find the bathroom..." said Nyx. "We're sorry."
"It's okay," said Mom. "You girls... aren't... human...?"
"Human?" asked Nyx. "What's a human?"
"It's what we are," I said. "And I think you should at least... fit in as humans."
"I'll help you girls fit in," said Mom. "First, let's start off with teaching you four how to walk. Get up on two legs."
It took about an hour for them to get used to walking like a human, but they're able to do it. But Mom also had to get them to use the toilets like a human.
After we got them used to it, we ordered pizza. Mom ordered two large vegetarian pizzas for me and the Cutie Mark Crusaders, along with her own cowboy pizza. Mom then grabbed some spare blankets and pillows for the four of them to sleep on the living room couch. Luckily, it was big enough for four people to sleep on.
There were two side tables on each end of the couch. Mom and I watched from the hallway as the girls were falling asleep. We were waiting for Nyx to take her glasses off to see if it's really the same Nyx from Past Sins. We tried waiting for her to take them off. She finally did with her eyes closed, and she set the glasses on the bedside table. As she was blinking her eyes, we saw that her eyes were the same eyes as Nightmare Moon. Teal blue with dagger shaped pupils and the whites of her eyes were turquoise. She then closed her eyes and fell asleep.
Mom and I headed for her room, and she said, "Wow. Enchanted glasses."
"Twilight Sparkle gave gave her some enchanted glasses to make her eye look like everyone else's eyes," I said. "Also, Nyx is an alicorn like Nightmare Moon was supposed to be. So, the vest Nyx wore would cover up her wings."
"So the ponies around her would think she's just a normal unicorn," said Mom, understanding what I was saying. "What's so special about alicorns in the show again?"
"They're princesses," I said. "Nyx just wants to be a normal filly, with good friends, and to stay with Twilight. But there are some ponies, who was a mind controlled cult of ponies, that try to force Nyx into becoming Nightmare Moon."
"And they failed?" asked Mom.
"No, I don't think it has happened yet," I said. I then yawned.
"Alright, Jacob," Mom said, putting her hand on my shoulders. "You should get to bed. You have the last day of school, tomorrow and summer vacation starts."
"Okay, Mom..." I said tiredly.
"Go through the back patio, it'll be easier," Mom said. I then went through her bed room, went through the back door on one side of the back patio, and through the door on the other side. Then I went to where my bedroom was. I got in my bed, and fell asleep. This was an interesting start right before summer vacation started.

Disneyland Parking Garage... 1/2 ago...
(Jacob's Point of View)
All of us went to the parking garage of Disneyland. We had to make sure that the Children of Nightmare didn't get Nyx. Princess Luna had created a dummy that looked like Nyx in her true form, but also disguised.
"Alright," said Princess Luna. "Nyx, for me to do this, I'm gonna have to turn you back into a pony."
"I understand," said Nyx. She then sighed.
Apple Bloom then walked up to her and said, "Don't worry, Nyx. We'll stay here with ya."
Then Rarity brought out a life like dummy of Nyx, with a vest and everything. Rainbow Dash unzipped the zipper on the vest, and put in that Sucker note underneath the zipper and sealed it. Rarity just rolled her eyes, smirking. Just then, Princess Luna changed Nyx back into her normal form, but she was still wearing the clothes she had one, but they were either baggy or stretched.
"Okay," said Twilight. "While Princess Luna is taking Nyx's magic, we're going to have to have someone take the dummy to the Children of Nightmare. It's not a guarantee that they'll let the people go."
"Well, it's a good thing we brought some welding tools," said Mom. "When they figure out that the dummy is a dummy, Twilight and her friends will battle them. And while the Children of Nightmare are too busy fighting them, we'll weld right through the gates at the end, and gather all of the people out of the parks."
"Smart thinking," said Twilight. "But, what are we going to do if those cult ponies take us under their corruption?"
"Not to worry, Twilight Sparkle," said Princess Luna. "Last night, I have already put a protection spell on all of the people here so they would not be taken over."
"Good," said Twilight. "Let's do this." Twilight then levitated me and the Nyx dummy onto Applejack's back.
"Ooh. Yer quiet a little heavy, ain'tcha?" asked Applejack.
"Don't forget, Applejack," said Aunt Buttercup. "He's technically yer cousin since his birth mother was the twin sister of yer father."
"Okay, Ma," said Applejack. She then smiled and said, "Hoowee. I missed sayin' that."
Aunt Buttercup chuckled and said, "I assumed that. Now, let's get to it."
We all nodded, and headed out of the parking garage. I just hope this plan was going to work.
Disneyland Resort Center... Present Time
Spell Nexus and the rest of the Children of Nightmare were charging at the Mane 6. They were fighting back, keeping the Children of Nightmare from getting the Elements of Harmony. But, the Mane 6 countered them like they did with the Changelings when the Mane 6 were going after the Elements of Harmony.
The battle was a sub-distraction while Kathy, Buttercup and some army men were heading towards the gates with welding gear. They were going to weld through the bars on the gates so the people would run for the streets. All of the people were running towards South Harbor Boulevard. The Children of Nightmare took no mind when they were too distracted fighting the Mane 6.
Then one of them went up to Applejack, making her gasp and say, "Filthy Rich?! They got ya, too!"
"My mind has been freed from the tyrant, Princess Celestia," said Filthy Rich. "I'm not going to let you ruin all of the hard work that Nightmare Moon will plan."
"Landsakes, Filthy Rich!" Applejack shouted. "Yer not free from mind control, yer deep under!"
"Don't try to trick me with lies, Applejack," said Filthy Rich. "I'm just trying to do what's best for Equestria."
"Y'all become insane!" shouted Applejack.
"I'm not insane," said Filthy Rich. He then charged at her, but Applejack bucked him back.
Spell Nexus was irritated by how his brothers and sisters of Nightmare weren't winning. But then he saw all the human captives getting out.
"HEY!" shouted Spell Nexus. "The Humans are escaping! Get them!"
Then a bunch of stallions headed for the opening of Disneyland Park, lead by Stonewall. There, there were Kathy and Buttercup, and some army men escorting the humans in the park towards the street. They were going to try and force them back into the park. Buttercup was getting nervous.
"What are we gonna do, Kathy?" asked Buttercup.
"Well, I have taken Dance Fighting Classes for self defense after Jacob was born," said Kathy.
"How's that gonna help?" asked Buttercup.
Kathy then pulled out her phone, and attached a cable connected to a speaker, and went into an app on her phone, and she pushed something. Then this song was playing.
The ponies were confused while Kathy was gaining some confidence. She then said, "Any of you boys care to dance?" Then she started fighting the stallions. They tried getting in a hit, but they couldn't even touch her.
The Children of Nightmare were losing, and Nexus was getting irritated. He then looked over at Night Wind.
"Night Wind! Find our queen!" he shouted. "Bring her here!"
"Right away, Spell Nexus," said Night Wind, taking to the sky.
Rainbow Dash looked up and saw Night Wind flying away and shouted, "Hey!" Then she was struck right in the face. Rainbow Dash got irritated and said, "That wasn't very nice!" She then started punching that pony quickly.
Disneyland Parking Garage...
Princess Luna was still taking the magic and unwanted memories from Nyx with the other Crusaders watching her. The three of them were getting worried for Nyx.
"Is Nyx gonna be okay?" asked Apple Bloom.
"Do not worry, Apple Bloom," said Princess Luna. "I am almost done. She will soon be relieved of all her troubles." Then the light of Luna's and Nyx's horns gotten brighter.
"There you are!" came a voice. The Crusaders looked over and saw Night Wind flying right towards them. She flew towards Nyx, and grabbed her when the light was starting to dim down, then she flew out of the garage, flying right towards where the ritual is.
"Oh no!" said Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo, watching Night Wind taking Nyx.
"She just took Nyx!" said Scootaloo. "What are we gonna do?!"
"Tis no problem, Scootaloo," said Princess Luna. Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo looked towards Princess Luna, and she looked different. "The extraction of the memories and power of Nightmare Moon has been completed."
"Princess... You look..." Sweetie Belle said, astonished. "You look..."
"What do I look like?" asked Princess Luna.
"Like how you did during that one Nightmare Night episode," said Scootaloo.
Princess Luna looked in the side mirror and saw her reflection. She then smiled and said, "It's a good look on me. Now, let's go save your friend." She then kneel onto her legs for the three girls for them to climb on. Apple Bloom, got in the front, behind her went Sweetie Belle and lastly, Scootaloo. Then Princess Luna got up, and headed for the end of the parking garage, jumped off it, and started flying towards the park.
The Children of Nightmare were trying to get back up and stop the Mane 6, Kathy, Buttercup and the military men. Then Night Wind came down with Nyx in her hooves.
Twilight looked up and saw what Night Wind was carrying and gasped, "Nyx!"
All of the ponies looked up and saw Night Wind landing. Spell Nexus then took Nyx out of Night Wind's grasp with his magic, and put her in position, and throwing the dummy away. Then he put a cubic barrier with the pillars keeping them in place.
"No!!" shouted Twilight.
"It's too late, Twilight Sparkle!" said Spell Nexus. "The one you call Nyx will be no more, and Nightmare Moon will rise again! Brothers and sisters, lend me your power, and let us save our queen!"
Then all of the Children of Nightmare started lending their power to the ritual. The Mane 6, Kathy and Buttercup were then blown back by the power of the ritual. Nyx was then waking up. She looked around and saw she was in the center of four pillars.
She gasped and shouted, "No!" She then tried getting out of there but was pushed back to the center of the pillars when colliding with that barrier. "No! Twilight! Help!"
"Nyx!!" Twilight shouted.
Spell Nexus walked towards the pillars with Nyx in the middle, saying to her, "Do not be scared. You are meant for more. You are being saved. You are meant to rule Equestria, in a glorious night eternal, as queen."
"No!" Nyx shouted. "I don't wanna! You can't make me!"
"Don't resist, my queen," said Spell Nexus. "It'll all be over soon." Then the ritual stopped and the barrier dissipated, surprising all of the Children of Nightmare. "WHAT?! No! This shouldn't be possible!"
Nyx then ran towards Twilight, and the two of them hugged. Twilight said, "Nyx. Are you okay?"
"I am now," Nyx replied.
"No!!" shouted Spell Nexus. "This shouldn't be possible! How did the ritual fail?!"
"BECAUSE I HAVE TAKEN THE MEMORIES AND MAGIC THAT WASN'T HERS IN THE FIRST PLACE!!" came a voice. It was the voice of Luna, using the Royal Canterlot Voice. All of them looked up and saw Princess Luna descending towards the ground with the other Crusaders on her back. Everyone noticed that she was different now.
"Princess Luna?!" exclaimed the Mane 6 and Nyx.
"Yes, tis I!" said Princess Luna. "The power and some of the memories that Nyx had have returned to it's proper owner. Nyx will be her own pony. She'll make her own choice. Not let others choose her path for her."
"No!" said Spell Nexus. "You don't know what you have done!" His eyes then started glowing bright in anger. "You shall pay for what you've done!" Then all of the Children of Nightmare sat on their flanks and then dark mist came from their mouths, and the mist was heading towards Spell Nexus. It surrounded him, until it became some gelatin like body and it was getting bigger. Bigger than the IHOP. It became a giant alicorn made of darkness. It then opened up the eyes of Nightmare Moon, and it's mouth was spiky, more spiky than the teeth of a dragon. "You will all pay for your ignorance!"
All of the people and ponies were surprised to see what Spell Nexus had become.
"He looks just like the Tantabus," said Jacob.
"The what?" asked Rainbow Dash.
"That hasn't happened yet so far in the show I showed you," said Jacob. "I'll tell you later."
"Prepare to die!" said Spell Nexus from inside the gelatin alicorn. It then fired at all of the ones who was trying to stop him. Luckily, everyone got out of the way. He then looked at Jacob, and gave him a cold glare. "You shall be the first one to suffer death!" He then fired a beam right towards Jacob. He was too scared to move. But then he was pushed out of the way. He looked towards where the blast was, and then looked behind where he was standing and there, covered in debris was Kathy.
"MOM!!" Jacob yelled, running towards her. Then the Crusaders ran towards Jacob and Kathy.
Kathy looked up at Jacob, put a hand to Jacob's left cheek, smiled, and then she said, "I... love you... Jacob." She then shut her eyes, and her arm went down.
Jacob let out some tears, crying his eyes out. He then shouted, "NOOOOO!!!" He tried grabbing Kathy, but the Crusaders held him back.
"Jacob..." said Apple Bloom. "Jacob, she's gone. I'm so sorry."
"Mom! Mom, no!" Jacob said. He then tried getting out of the grasp of the Crusaders, but they were too strong.
Spell Nexus then fired a blast at the Mane 6, but the blast was too slow to impact them. The Mane 6 then looked over at Jacob, seeing his adoptive mother dead.
"Oh, no," said Applejack.
Fluttershy was getting enraged. She then looked up at Nexus, flew up to the face of the beast, and shouted, "HOW DARE YOU?! YOU ARE A TOTAL MONSTER! HOW DARE YOU TAKE AWAY THE LIFE OF A SINGLE MOTHER! YOU THINK IT'S NICE TO DO THAT?!"
"Buzz off!" said Spell Nexus, trying to swat Fluttershy like a fly. Rainbow Dash pulled Fluttershy out of the way and then the two of them went to the others. Then the Mane 6 got into position and they activated the Elements of Harmony. Spell Nexus said, "You think the Elements of Harmony can stop Nightmare Moon now?! They're useless!"
"But you're not Nightmare Moon, are you?" Twilight asked, smirking.
Then the monster went wide eyed and said, "Uh oh."
Then the Elements of Harmony fired their rainbow blast, and pierced a hole through the monster, revealing Spell Nexus, his limbs wrapped in the darkness. Then Princess Luna used her magic and pulled Spell Nexus out of the darkness. Then she used her magic and destroyed the darkness that was corrupting all of the other Children of Nightmare. The darkness was being burnt to a small bubble. When it was small enough, Princess Luna stomped on it. It was all over. The end of the Nightmare.
Author's Note
The Nightmare is over. But it's too bad that one life was taken. Jacob was all alone, but usually, bad things will lead into good things.
As for the song, I just had to put it in because it could have been superbly hilarious.
