An Old Friend-Part 2

By the end of the stupid story that should never of happened to a pony with a brain, it was 9:00 am.

"Wow sugarcube, men sure can't take a hint ay Mac!" concluded Applejack who was filled with disgust with how Soarin betrayed me and didn't even think about how much I love him.

Big Macintosh wen't to argue with his sister but stopped realizing that even he can't take hints and gave in with a "Eyyep.".

"Heh, well Mac is goin ta Shy's house to get a new collar fa Winona if you want to go wit him, jus till I buck some apple trees." offered AJ.

"Sure, I haven't had a good talk with Fluttershy in a while!" I accepted gleefully.

I strolled with Big Macintosh with a huge grin on my face as tall green trees that edged the dark Evergreen forest passed by on both sides of the path.

"Are you okay Miss Dash, ehh I mean Rainbow?" asked a concerned Macintosh.I could see past the new collar excuse!

"Everypony knows you are 'getting in there' with Fluttershy!" I said with a laugh.

"Getting in there?"

"You know the bee and birds.."

"Ehh?.."

"The key and lock!"

"OW!" said Big Mac who was shocked with realization.I sighed and facehoofed."Well the rumors ain't true!I jus help her round.".

"Like handling snakes and filling up rabbit holes?" I said with a giggle.He gave me a Fluttershy worthy stare.I backed up from the subject and shut my mouth.

Within a few seconds we finally arrived at the cottage and I ran up to the door and knocked gleefully.

A tired Fluttershy answered the door "Rainbow?" she asked in her tiny little voice."Hey bestie!" I replied with glee.

"Heh, you here with Big Mac?"

"Yeah, you teach him that stare of yours?"

"Maybe.."

"Fluttershy that's dangerous!" I complained."I know but he is sooo nice!" she complained back.

"In bed?" I said cheekily.

"Hay!I know your secret, you don't e...."

"SHHH!" I yelled as Big Mac walked up beside me.

"Anyway buddy, we came over to get the collar!" I pretended to continue.

"Ow yes, of course.Please come inside for some tea!"

We gladly accepted and strolled into her warm cottage.The bunnies ran upstairs hurded by Angel.

A family of adorable little parrots were near the couch and I stared at them as I sat at the dining table.

I started to think about having a family when I'm mature enough, but my train of thought was broken by Fluttershy, who had placed a cup tea in front of me.

"Soo, you need any help with your animals Fluttershy?" asked Big Mac, who is the helpful type.

"No, no thankyou.Angel has been helping me around lately."

"Blow me down Fluttershy!Angel, helping?" I asked with a shocked expression.

"Well Big Mac helped me with the abusive bunny problem." said Fluttershy giving Big Mac a loving smile.I quickly drank all of my tea and stood up.

I was soo jelly!

They were deeply in-love with each other!I wished me and Soarin were the same.

At the same time it was extremely awkward to see.

"I gotta go stretch my wings, I'll meet you at the farm Big Mac, and I'll probably see you, tomorrow Fluttershy!" I said before I bolted out the door.

I missed the air , the fluffy white clouds, my teddy bear and my awesome home.

I leaped a few times while flapping my wings gleefully before taking off.I was heading straight home, no pit stops.

Not that it's far away from her house.It's kinda down the street, just in the sky.

As I got closer to my cloud home I noticed a light gray/blue pony with dark navy blue hair standing at the door of my house.I grunted in anger and turned back away from the house as Soarin called my name.

"RAINBOW WAIT!I'M SORRY!"

"Yeah, one word can fix all the horrors I've seen!" I yelled back as he flew up beside me.

"I'm sorry I had heaps of drinks and she came on to me!And it was strong cider, and-....."

"That's still no excuse!You said you loved me at the wedding and I confessed my feelings too, but suddenly your rather fuck another girl just because she came on to you!?!"

"What?Are you just angry because your jealous?Because it sounds like you are!"

I stopped in place.It was true, I wished I was the one with him that night.I didn't want to admit it though.

He sighed deeply.

"I understand that you loved me since high school, and you have every right to be angry with me, but please Rainbow!Just give me one chance!I don't want to lose the one girl I truly love!" said Soarin.

I turned to look at him with watery eyes.It was true, I did love him since high school, but I thought he forgot that long ago."Soarin, you remembered?" I whispered.

"Yes."

I flew towards him with open front legs and embraced him in a tender hug."Ok Soarin, I will give you a chance.".

He hugged me tightly back.

"I promise to never let you down again, and to never betray you!" he assured.

I hoped so.Ow Celestia I hoped so.

"Ya silly little filly!Ya do realize he es jus tryin to get in ya panties!Not that we wear any." yelled Applejack.

"You are just jealous that he loves me!" I said casualy while circling A.J as she bucked her apples.

"Haha!Yeah right!I know tat all men wan es a good buckin.Tat's why I don bat for dat team."

"Yeah you buck apples instead.....WAIT!You bat for the other team?!?"

"Yeah, an don you swing both ways?"

"NO!" I yelled.This was new news to me.

A.J is lesbian and she thinks I'm bi-sexual?!?

I coughed loudly.

"Soo I know that the answer is obvious but who is the best looking out of the gang?" I asked curiously.It was obviously going to be me since I'm such a sexy beast.

"Ow it has ta be Rarity!Dat girl got tha sexiest look.I gotta say Spike has taste."

"Na uh!I got the best body!Nice big hips en......Why am I arguing this?" I ended on a confused note.

"Cause ya messed up sugarcube.Any way I don think it es a good idea to date Soarin."

I bit down hard on my lip.It gets me pissed off when my friends don't trust my opinion.

"Look A.J, I'm not stupid.Sure I make a few mistakes but that only makes me smarter!Just please trust me with this!" I pleaded.

She gave a heavy sigh and nodded.

"Kay sugarcube, I trust ya."

"Thanks A.J."

"Anyway would like to stay fa dinner or ya goin out on a fancy date?"

"Well me and Soarin planned to have a picnic on the same hill we watched the meteor shower!"

"Well hope you hav fun ten R.D." farewelled Applejack while waving her hoof.

"You too!" I said back while walking to the destination of my date.

All I could think about was what he was planning.Was it going romantic, fun or a touching experience.

Well I just had to wait to find out.

It only took me a little while to get to the hill but it was already noticeably dark and bright stars were already starting to light up the sky.

"Damn who dat!" I jokingly said to Soarin who had already set the picnic set.

It featured a dark red picnic blanket with bright white bowels and glasses, which were filled with sparkling apple wine and fruit salad filled the bowels which each had a rose petal on top.

"Just a fair knight who wants to sweep you off your hooves." Soarin replied.

"Wow, it's so romantic!" I said breathlessly in awe.

"That's just the start!Someponies gotta hit the lights."

"What?"

"Please madam take a seat!" said Soarin as he stood before the night sky.

I took my place behind one of the bowels, and waited as excitement rushed though me like a burst of electricity.

"LIGHTS!" Soarin yelled as he stomped his front right hoof.

Sorry it took me a while but I didn't really think the first story would do anygood!

And forgive me grammar Nazis but my iPod screen is currently broken so I'm writing this while trying to read between the cracks.
