chapter 12: Iris' friends think it was Rosie's fault

Soon when Iris got her friends at the place of Missy Robins rose was and looked for clues

"Mm. That's where Missy's rose was, but I don't see anything strange" Iris said confused

"What would you see? Someone just grabbed it and ran away" Auriana said

"Uh, did she have any enemies?" Talia asked

"Plenty. But this is the first time anyone's stolen something from her" Iris answered

"Iris, do you suppose your rose might have done something to it?" Talia asked

"Rosie? What could she do? She's just a plant! Okay. She's not just a plant. But she's still here, right where I left her. So let's look for the real thief" Iris answered

"Fair enough. We'll split up and search separately" Talia suggested

Soon Iris was searching for the thief only to find Nathaniel grabbing a box with Irises which she didn't like

"Hey, you! The guy stealing the plant!" Iris yelled only for Nathaniel to turn around which made her notice her mistake

"Hey Iris!" Nathaniel said greeting himself to Iris

"Nathaniel? What are you doing here?" Iris asked

"Uh, I'm working. The cafe's doing concessions for the festival. I was just walking to the cafe and saw these irises, and I had to check them out" Nathaniel answered only to get happily embarrassed "I have a thing for... Irises"

Then Iris blushed at Nathaniel only for someone to call for help and Iris' pendant to glow

"I gotta go!" Iris said going after the sound

"I'll come with you" Nathaniel suggested putting the flowers down and following Iris to the glass plant palace and saw an girl crying with Talia Auriana and Amaru trying to confront her and after that the mane seven came too

"My orchid just disappeared and it was the favorite to win!" The girl said crying

"Was it inside this glass plant palace?" Auriana asked

"Yes!" The girl said sniffling "Someone must have come in and taken it!"

"Iris, can I speak to you outside?" Talia asked

"You guys stay here. I'll take her with me to the cafe. How about a hot chocolate?" Nathaniel asked

"Okay..." The girl said

Soon Nathaniel and the girl were gone to the cafe and when they did Talia and Auriana turned to Iris

"Iris, I think the thief may be…" Talia asked only to be interupted by Iris

"Not Rosie! I told you, she's tied up. She didn't steal anything" Then Talia sighed and when she did she saw Rosie coming in which shocked some of the 11 heroes "Rosie, no! Rosie, I never thought you'd get rid of the competition! Now what do I do?"

"You know what you have to do..." Talia said knowing what Iris wants to do which caused Iris to sigh

"Come on, Rosie. Let's go for a walk" Iris asked which made her friends worried

"Are you okay? Do you want us to come?" Auriana asked

"No. I have to do this alone" Iris suggested while going outside

"That's what you get for hurting Iris' feelings Girls" Twilight said a bit dissappointed at Talia Auriana and her first friends "Come on spike let's go make her happy again" Twilight said letting spike on her back and flying after Iris which made the leftover friends a bit confused
