chapter 3: the auditions for LoliRock

The next day Iris and the mane seven were at the smoothie bar and waiting for their drinks until Iris' crush Nathaniel brought a plate with an coffee and some waters

"Cheer up, losing a babysitting gig isn't the worst thing" Nathaniel said trying to make Iris happy again

"Easy for you to say. Plus, its' the third job I've been fired from! And every time I open my mouth to sing, something weird happens…" Iris said looking back at the things that happened like there were three parts of the water flowing into the air when Iris was singing and also the water got deep so close to Iris' mouth which caused Aunt Ellen to get her out and when she did the water got back from how it was or when the mirror spun or when the lake froze and mother duck got stuck in the ice

Back in the present Nathaniel started laughing because he found it funny that the lake froze with a ducky still in it

"Remember that day last summer when a freak storm froze the lake? Wild!

"Were those three the only things what happened when you sung" Pinkie asked confused

"No there were more times" Iris said sighing "I don't think I was meant to be a singer"

Then something unexpected happened Nathaniel puts his hand onto Iris' hand

"You kidding?" then Iris and the others were confused "You have a beautiful voice" Nathaniel said giving Iris the audition paper "Besides, I saw this on the cafe's bulletin board and thought of you"

Then Iris took the audition paper and read it

"Wanted, lead singer for girl band. LoliRock. Auditions today" Then Iris got sad again and sighed "I do love singing... But I can't. Something weird would happen" Iris said sadly

"So? There are two things I know about you. One, you're weird and two, you're happiest when you're singing" Then Nathaniel puts an hand on Iris' shoulder

"Thanks, Nat, but I just can't" Then Iris wanted to walk away but was stopped because of Nathaniel holding Iris' wrist

"Huh?" Nathaniel said giving the flyer to Iris and the others " Think about it. Promise me?"

"I promise" Iris said leaving the smoothie bar

Soon the mane seven and Iris were walking on the Streets while the mane seven were complimenting Iris

"See even your crush Nathaniel cares about you so you don't have to worry" Twilight Sparkle said

Then iris started to sing while trying not to make something happen

I was prepared to do my best Thought I could handle any test For I can sing so many songs But I wasn't prepared for this slow songs would have been a breeze Facts and figures I recite with ease I could ace a singing's bliss But wasn't prepared for this Will I fail, or will I pass? I can't be sure... My mind is sharp, my skills intact My heart is pure... Oh, I've taken my share of licks I've made it through the thin and thick But no I wasn't Oh no, I wasn't No I wasn't prepared for this!!!

"Wow Twilight wasn't this your song she sung" Spike said

Then the mane seven looked everywhere and saw glitters falling

"Well she tried" Twilight said faceslapping herself

Then the mane seven looked everywhere but didn't see Iris until they found Iris by a lamp post and hanging on it

"No, I just can't" then Iris sighed and got an idea of going to a better place to think and dashed there while running on the Streets

"Come on girls let's calm her down" Rainbow Dash suggested before running to the pier and finding her gasping for breath and after that she looked up to the sky" Iris it's okay we all believe in you

Then a thought came into Iris' mind

"Think about it" Nathaniel's voice said and when it did Iris looked at the crumbled paper "Promise me?"

Then iris made a confident look on her face and smiled

"Come on girls" Iris said with a proud smile "we got an audition to do" Iris said before running

"Don't tell me we have to run again" Rainbow dash said sighing
