chapter 9: the heroes' competiton problems

The next day Iris and Talia were training for their next show which was coming up soon except that Auriana isn't helping

"Dance, dance, dance...You'll be energetic. You'll be charismatic. Party on the planet. Dance to the revolution"

Then the sing training was finished and when it did the mane seven and Amaru cheered

"You girls would seriously win a competition with that song of yours" Rainbow dash commented

"Congratulations, Iris. For once, you are on time for rehearsal, and Auriana is late" Talia commented

"Um... Thanks?" Iris commented again but shyly

"Come on louder"

"Thanks"

"Louder"

"Thanks"

"louder!!!!!"

Then iris breathes deeply and lets it out with a big shy thanks which caused Rainbow dash to fall on the ground again

"Well if i know Rainbow Dash Iris can sometimes be timid but sometimes she can also be as strong as us" Twilight commented "Now if i know Auriana then we would hear her in 3... 2... 1

Then the 10 heroes heard Auriana scream in pain

"good call Twilight" Rainbow commented and flew away to Iris' room where Auriana was stuck in a rose bush "Uh guys little problem here and you might think that's silly"

Then Talia and Iris looked from inside and so did the mane seven and when they did they sighed while Talia face slapped

"Auriana! What happened?" Iris asked

"I was making this flower garland to wear when we perform at the garden festival tomorrow, and I sorta got trapped. Wait! Prickles!" Auriana answered

"Okay now we have two Pinkies and two Raritys here the first one is of my oldest friends no offense and the other ones are Auriana" Rainbow Dash said chuckling

"You put roses in your garland with the thorns still on?" Iris said being a smarty pants

"I thought they'd stick better Which they do!" Auriana said

"Crystal Solvenda!" Talia said making Auriana free from the rose bushes while she stood back up but fast and also sigh

"Thank you!" Auriana said before looking at the rose garland "Earth has such beautiful flowers, I wanted to wear them!"

Then Iris had an idea in mind and gasps

"Hey, You guys want to see something cool? I grew this to enter in the flower competition. I've entered it every year since I was eight years old. I've never won, though" Iris said sadly

"But you're so good at plant growing!" Auriana complimented

"You mean gardening. And thanks. But every year the same person wins. Missy Robins"

Then Iris had some visions about the past

"Better luck next year, loser!" Missy Robins said in the vision

"This is the year she's the loser" Iris said angrily

"You're right. This flower is magnificent" Auriana complimented

"I know what you went through some of us have been there before like me" Rainbow Dash said remembering the times the bully trio bullied her

"Yeah or me" Pinkie said remembering the time Gilda bullied her (Spoiler Alert: that was in Griffon the brush-off) But now she changed right Rainbow

"Yes you're correct Pinkie" Rainbow said

Then Auriana let's Amaru free and when she did Amaru sniffed Rosie which made Iris grab him fas

"no! Iris yelled grabbing Amaru "Um, my rose isn't quite ready to smell yet"

Then Rosie got up and down by Jumping or growing no one knows

"Huh? From what I've studied about Earth horticulture, I know that roses don't act this way. You used magic, didn't you?"

Then Iris giggled

"Just a teeny tiny little bit..." Iris said scared

"Magic should never be used for selfish goals" Talia said angrily

"But beating Missy is a good deed that will benefit everyone in the world forever. So it's not selfish…" Iris said trying to make Talia happy again which didn't work

Meanwhile in Ephedia's throne room

"I'm aware of the time, Banes. You're right. I can put off this dreadful chore no longer" Gramorr said sighing" Heavy is the head that wears the crown"

Then two communication crystals appeared again which caused Lephisto and Praxina to come into their respective crystals again

"Because it was your turn, Praxina, to…" Mephisto argued

"It wasn't my turn, Mephisto. Yesterday was my turn. Today was..." Praxina argued back

"Silence!" Gramorr yelled

"Master!" Praxina said bowing

"Hey, boss man, uh, master. Sir" Mephisto said Bowing too

"Update me on your mission. Have you found the oracle gem?" Gramorr asked

"Um, we're working on it, but it's complicated…" Mephisto said but wasn't able to finish his sentence because of Gramorr

"A simple yes or no will suffice" Gramorr said

"Not yet, master" Praxina answered

"This particular oracle gem is vital. You must do everything you can to find it before the princesses do. If you fail... I can't afford to lose any more gems" Gramorr said angrily
