Rarity laid down a cover with Applejack. Fluttershy placed a tea pot and placed teacups down, Pinkie smiling, placed cupcakes down, Rainbow throwed a ball around, and Twilight smiled petting Spike. "So what are we all doing here for our night together?" Twilight asked everyone. "I say we play ball, I would love bringing it back." Spike grinned. "Or we could go to lake, and go swimming. It's a lovely full moon and the nocturnal animals are out usually at this time." Fluttershy smiled. Rainbow groaned. "That's sounds like a good idea Fluttershy." Sunset smiled. Twilight then grabbed a book from her bag. "I was meaning to study nocturnal animals for my agricultural class." Twilight smiled. Rainbow rolled her eyes. All of them smiled placing the food back in their bags, Pinkie smiling eating hers. They then started to head off. Eventually they made it to the lake, the bright moon reflecting off the lake. "Uh, did anyone bring a swimsuit?" Applejack asked. "Who cares?" Rainbow asked as Pinkie was already was swimming in her undergarments. Everyone blushed. "I brought mine." Fluttershy smiled warmly. "I'm staying on land, no way I'm getting my hair all wet and sloppy." Rarity said, Applejack and Rainbow nodded at each other. "Twilight what are you gonna do?" Sunset asked her light lavender friend. "Well I'm gonna study the habits of nocturnal creatures in the woods." She smiled taking her laptop out. "Alright Twilight. Now let's get to swimming girls." Sunset smiled as she took off her jacket. Rarity looked at her friends jumping into the lake. She laid out a comfy seat and sat down. "I love this cool air. No chance I will get my clothes dirty." She smiled as Rainbow and Applejack, dripping wet, walked up behind her. They grabbed her seat. "Rainbow Dash, Applejack! What do you think you're doing!" Rarity screamed as they flipped the seat up, sending Rarity into the lake edge. Rarity looked at her clothes and looked up at them. "Cheer up Rarity!" Pinkie smiled swimming by. "Pinkie put on something jeez." Rainbow groaned. Pinkie blushed a little. "I had no swimsuit Dashie, be happy I'm not in my birthday suit." She grinned and swam down into the lake. Rarity frowned as she took off her shirt. "Seriously you girls need to stop." Sunset smiled, as she swam in place. "I thought you have outfits for all occasions Rarity." Applejack said. "Not always Applejack!" She screamed as she walked back on land. She put her shirt down on the chair and frowned. "It's fine, it'll dry. Now come have some fun!" Rainbow smiled, her rainbow hair dripping droplets into the lake. Rarity frowned looking at her dress. Fluttershy smiled breaching her head out of the water. She smiled swimming onto the closet land. She twisted and gripped her hair, seeing water drip down. She smiled then as she looked up. Seeing an owl flying fast above. *crunch* Fluttershy's head turned around as she shuffled. Yellow glowing orbs. Then something white and sharp glistened under them. Her eyes then went wide as she screamed and backed up. She looked down as she fell into the lake. The girls all looked over as Fluttershy breached the water. She breathed quickly and coughed a little water up. "FLUTTERSHY!" the girls yelled and quickly swam to her, Twilight watching alarmed. Pinke and Sunset frowned as they grabbed Fluttershy with Sunset. Getting hit by the beast paw. They all choked a little on water as they dragged Fluttershy to land and look her over, Pinkie wiped the blood off her face. She then helped place Fluttershy by a tree. Twilight looked Fluttershy over and put her ear to her mouth. Sunset gave Pinkie some bandages. "She is breathing, just it seems she passed out." Sunset signed and then saw their other friends get thrown back. They quickly ran over to them. Rarity landed on her back into mud, as Applejack looked down from a tree. Rainbow groaned and wrapped blood off her face. "HEY YOU BETTER COME BACK!" Rainbow yelled as Applejack holded her back. They then looked around as mist rises from the creature. They shook as cold air wind blew at them. "I will go get dressed." Pinkie frowned and grabbed her clothes and quickly put them on. "We should all go home." Sunset frowned as Fluttershy stuttered awake. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ [The Next Morning] The girls traveled back to the sight and looked around for the beast. "It says that people have been talking about weird noises at night here." Twilight said looking at her laptop. Fluttershy walked up to the side of the lake, and then frowned. "Girls look at this." She said looking down. The 6 others walked up and looked down. "Tracks, Twilight can figure what creature tracks these are?" Sunset asked as Fluttershy looked them over. "Looks like a wolf." She said. Everyone looked at her. Twilight nodded. "Your right Fluttershy." She said. "But it says their normal about. 3 to 4 inches, this is more like 8 to 10 at least." Twilight frowned. Pinkie then frowned. "Maybe it's a werewolf!" She yelled frightened. "Yeah right Pinkie, those don't exist." Rainbow frowned. Sunset then looked comfused. "I've heard of Timberwolves before, but honestly this isn't wood that sent us back." She said as everyone looked comfused. "Wood, you mean their are different kinds of wolves in Equestria?" Applejack asked. "We still have normal wolves, but Timberwolves are wolves made of wood. They can put themselves back together." Sunset explained. The girls nodded. "I think the wolf could be a Direwolf, but they have been extinct since the ice age." Twilight said frustrated at her laptop. "Ok girls if we get samples I can find out if it's a Direwolf." Twilight then said. "How it's extinct?" Rainbow asked. "We have fossils and frozen puppies Dash." Twilight said typing on her phone. Rainbow blinked. "What?" She muttered as everyone walked further into the forest. They followed the tracks as Spike was eating treats with Pinkie in the back. "Uh, Pinkie why are you wearing a green shirt?" Rarity asked her. Pinkie smiled. "A refreference Rarity." She winked towards me. Rarity looked at more trees comfused. "Are you alright Darling?" She asked. The girls then spot the end of the trail, and saw town. "Strange." Sunset frowned. "Guess we go home." Fluttershy muttered. "Wait I found something." Twilight smiled as she picked up a little small strain of fur. She then placed it in a bag and sipped it. "Ok now we can go. I need to test this." Twilight testing the fur with Spike's, Pinkie drinking whip cream, Rainbow sleeping, Sunset playing online games, Applejack sleeping too, Rarity fixing her clothes from the day before, And Fluttershy was writing. They all did these things till they fell asleep, either by passing out or just napping. Twilight smiled showing her results on her computer. "Ok so from my research the fur is wolf.....But it has another part." Twilight frowned as she looked at the paper. Pinkie smiled as everyone then went back to their plan. "Ok, so Applejack will be on the watch with Winona and her gun. Me and Sunset are going to watch, and Rainbow if it gets close to us we will call you, Fluttershy, and Pinkie." The girls all nodded. "Let's do this!" Rainbow grinned putting her hand out. "We found a dangerous creature in the woods Granny, were just tracking it." Applejack said grabbing another gun and loading it. Granny looked at her. "Why didn't you say so! Is it sasquatch?" The old lady asked. Applejack signed. "Granny just go back to bed, it's probably Equestrian magic." Applejack said. Granny raised a eyebrow. "The thing that makes us get wings and ears." Rainbow said. Granny nodded. "Ok you two are getting kinky, I'll leave you be. Just don't use that gun on your privates, it doesn't end good." Granny said and left. First Pinkie's, due to being closet. She knocked and then saw Maud. "Oh, hi Fluttershy. Pinkie is in the kitchen." Maud said and walked away back to her room.Fluttershy entered in and walked into the kitchen. She looked at Pinkie as she had her head in a bowl. Fluttershy groaned as she lifted Pinkie up. "Mmmm" Fluttershy smiled as she looked at the bowl. Pinkie shot up and then smiled as Fluttershy stuttered and quickly put the bowl back down. Pinkie stared intently here. She then frowned as she saw it carry Gummy in it's jaw. "Gummy!" She yelled and quickly looked at the window. Everyone looked at her then grabbed her midway in the window. "Pinkie wait." Twilight told her, still reviewing footage. She then saw Pinkie grab the device. Twilight frowned. They watched the wolf running as the camera followed it from above. Pinkie's eyes glued to the screen. "It's burying Gummy alive!" She yelled and looked at the building where it buried it. "Is that my house?" Rainbow asked as Pinkie gave the phone back to Twilight. "I'm going to dig up Gummy." She then said and sped away and down Applejack's home hallway. "hey Pinkie." The girls heard Applebloom say. They then walked to the window and saw Pinkie running with a shovel. "Should we stop her?" Fluttershy asked. "I would say yes, my footage shows the wolf hasn't left your home Rainbow." Twilight said to the multiple colored hair girl. Rainbow's eyes went dilated. Pinkie said tilting her head. "Well Fluttershy could possibly help get it. And Rainbow can run a rope around it, and Applejack could lift it up. Pinkie you distract it from attacking us, and Rarity do you have anything that can protect us?" Sunset asked. "I thought you would not ask." Rarity grinned. "But we have to get my house for them." She then said. "Oh, well I could grab them. I'm super fast." Rainbow smirked, everyone rolled their eyes. "Rainbow you can, but take Rarity with you. She knows what they look like." Twilight said. Rainbow saluted. Rainbow and Rarity walked upstairs. "Wow that thing looks awesome!" Rainbow grinned staring out the window. Rarity holded her mouth. "Rarity hold on!" "Ok I see, but where are we setting up ropes at?" She asked. "At your house of course, Fluttershy can you tie a bunch of ropes?" Twilight asked. "Yeah, I love braiding." Fluttershy smiled, as Sunset nodded. "I also need someone to make sure it doesn't rip." "I think me and Rarity could." Fluttershy smiled. "Ok, now were just waiting on Rarity and Rainbow Dash.' Applejack frowned as it cutted the rope. "Why are we letting this happen come on!" Applejack yelled and ran. The girls gripped the ropes and tugged. The light colored wolf tilted it's head. It then grinned and bite the rope. It nibbled as it tugged. "Good little one, now just try to tug it away from them." The bigger wolf smiled as the little one twisted it's head as the rope came free. The bigger wolf fell to the ground. "This is a warning, don't make me get you all." "Where could they be?" Sunset asked looking around. "I wonder why there was one wolf." Fluttershy muttered. Twilight frowned staring at her phone. "The drone hasn't caught sight of them." She thought about last night's plan. "Were gonna find them. I bet Rainbow ran far, and Pinkie is probably somewhere where suger is." Applejack said. Sunset nodded. "I will go check the bakery, Twilight how far can you fly the drone?" Sunset asked her lavender friend. "About to Camp everfree's location." Twilight said. "Good, scope out for Rainbow, I will find Pinkie." "I will come with you." "So where were you two?" Sunset then asked. "I don't know." Rainbow shrugged. "I can remember seeing Rainbow fall." Pinkie smiled. "Do you remember anything else?" Sunset asked. "No not really." Pinkie said. "Well I'm happy it didn't hurt you two." Sunset smiled. Pinkie nodded. "Well let's make a new plan now." We would have to attack our friend!" Fluttershy whimpered. Pinkie grinned. "Probably not, the power of plot and were the main characters will save us." Pinkie said. "Pinkie you alright? you've been talking like that for at least three days now." Applejack asked as Twilight was fidgeting with a new machine. "Yeah, this writer is just writing me like this cause she has obviously seen me in the pony world." Pinkie grinned as everyone then saw Twilight grinning. "Ok girls I have it finished, Sunset help me carry this outside." Twilight smiled. The girls looked at them as Pinkie smiled. Everyone watched and saw Twilight and Sunset place it on the pavement. "What does it do?" Fluttershy asked. "Well if I made the flexor right, then it should let us track the wolves." "Wolves, wait are there more?" Rainbow asked, Pinkie looked around. "Yes, we saw two last night. The big one you know is purple, the little one we saw was a light grey, it's fur was a bit muffled, and it tugged the rope from us." Twilight said as Rainbow and Pinkie blinked in response. "Must have been a pup, but why was it so strong?" Sunset asked herself. "Applejack can I have that rope?" Twilight asked the thinking girl. "Here ya go Twilight." Everyone watched as Twilight tied the rope to the device's hinges and then pushed so many buttons and slide her finger against her phone. *Nnnaaaa* the device's system booted up as a little gust of it's fans sent it up. "This should grab it and send it into the air." Twilight smiled. Fluttershy gulped. "Doesn't that seem cruel?" Rarity asked. "Nope, it only lifts them. So they don't want to rip free of it. I have a cage in my backyard to put them." Twilight smiled as everyone looked comfused. "When did you get a cage?" Rainbow asked. "I've had it from a failed experiment." Twilight said and then gripped her phone. "Ok so should get started?" Sunset asked. "Yep, now girls I need you to get the wolves here." Twilight smiled "Rarity and Pinkie will use their geode powers to grips it attention, Rainbow and Applejack will get it in position, and Sunset and Fluttershy will see the creatures and make sure they don't break the rope." Twilight explained. "Ok, let's do this!" Rainbow smiled as they gripped their hands together. Their magic flowed throughout their bodies, cutiemark that represent them appearing on their cheeks, and finally their friendship power outfits appearing on them. "Let's go!" Sunset smiled. They flew down to the ground and saw their light fade. "The sun is setting so we better go!" "Good now we wait for Rarity and Pinkie to come running back." Rainbow grinned. They sat down, played on a their phones, collected data, and wrote in a book. "When are they coming back?" Rainbow asked. "They should be back, wolves are very territorial and have sensitive ears." Fluttershy said looking out at the forest, her hand on her face. Twilight nodded. "I'm flying my drone out around the area, I can see Rarity." Twilight smiled. "Where's Pinkie?" Applejack asked as she loaded her gun. "I have no idea." Twilight said. "Who wants to bet the wolf made a candy trail?" Rainbow asked. "Why do you think that would happen?" Fluttershy asked. "Well we know it talks, so it must have some kind of smarts." Rainbow smiled, everyone rolled their eyes. *AWOOOOOO* everyone cocked their heads as Rarity stood in the front. She then fell to her knees. "Rarity what happened?" Sunset asked as Fluttershy gave Rarity a tissue box. Rainbow took out her wallet. "Hi there." A voice said while, Rarity whimpered as she hid behind Applejack. "This is blandly obvious." Fluttershy whispered. "The wolf." Rarity started to sob as the velvet wolf grinned. She then chuckled. "I am having so much fun tonight, you girls really have some interesting abilities." The wolf smirked as she lifted her ginormous paw. The girls eyes were widen in shock. The thing sparkled under the moonlight, the girls nearly felt tears prickle their eyes. Fluttershy rolled her eyes as she stepped up. The wolf smirked. "Hmmm, I'll deal with little you later." The wolf said as it's ears flicked around. The girls then looked at the wolf. It turned it's head to something else. Rainbow causally placed her wallet in her pocket as her moderate cerise stared. A fuzzy tangled grey wolf howled as the bigger one grinned. "Pinkie!" The girls frowned. Her eyes beamed golden. The girls stepped back. "We should leave!" Fluttershy whimpered. Sunset nodded as Rainbow grabbed her arm. "Hold on!" "Ok so what's the plan?" Sunset asked Twilight. "I'm not sure, werewolves are something I don't know." Twilight admitted. "I guess we need a mythical creature expert." Sunset said. "Can't we just shoot it with Silver bullets?" Rainbow asked. "We can't put Pinkie down." Fluttershy said eyeing Dash extremely. "No the other one, I mean Pinkie being a wolf isn't that bad." Rainbow smiled. Applejack then promptly smacked her in the head. "Ow" "Maybe Princess Twilight could help." Rarity said. Sunset nodded. "I could write her, but in the meantime Twilight research anything you can find about werewolves." "So anything?" Sunset asked. "Lycantrophy. It says the curse is lifted by some flower called Wolfsbane." Twilight said. "What's wolfsbane?" Applejack asked. "A special flower poisonous to humans and wolves, it only blooms in fall, so I don't think were find any here." Twilight frowned. "Is there any other way?" Fluttershy asked. "Well there is some, but they involve killing." Twilight frowned. Sunset looked at the book in her hands. "I hope princess Twilight answers soo-" *Buzz* "How convenient." Applejack said as Sunset opened the book. She quickly read it. "What does it say?" Rainbow asked. Sunset smiled. "Well lucky for us Twilight knows a helpful Zebra." Sunset grinned. "I love the early morning." Applejack smiled as Sunset was gawking at the mirror. "You guys wonder if Pinkie is normal now?" Rainbow asked. *Swoosh* the girls looked at the portal as two figures came out. "Twilight. Oh thank goodness your here." Rarity smiled as then Twilight motioned with her hands. "This is Zecora, she insisted coming here." Twilight smiled. "I help the pink friend on the other side." Zecora said as everyone but Princess Twilight looked comfused. "She speaks in riddles?" Rainbow raised a eyebrow. "I am quite different I know, but don't judge me the way I know." Zecora said. "Ok, um, so do you know of the Wolfbane potion?" Scitwi asked Zecora. "I know what uses the flower can be used for." She said. "Ok, well I better get going. Spike and I are moving books to Canterlot." Twilight smiled and then left. Sunset and her friends lead Zecora to Twilight's house. "I have researched some Lycantrophy and cures, but wolfsbane seems the most likely not to kill Pinkie." Twilight said. "I see you have looked and looked, but what does your Pinkie like most?" Zecora asked. "Candy." Rainbow said. "Parties" Fluttershy said. "Making people happy" Applejack said. "Her friends." Sunset said. Zecora nodded. "I see what you need, just need protection with these." Zecora smiled as she grabbed two bottles from her bag. The girls looked at the contents in the bottles. Two erect flowers. Purple hue and droppy petals. Zecora then placed them on a table. Twilight gave her gloves. Zecora unscrewed the lid as Twilight watched. "Something shiny and grey, melted down." Zecora whispered as she sprinkled little dust of iron in a bottle. "Wow, never thought Equestria has science like chemistry." Twilight smiled. Zecora then got done as she took the gloves off. "Your pink friend should drink one drop every day till the bottle is far down. If not a monster is sure to come your way." Zecora said. Sunset nodded as Zecora handed her it. "So do we just put some in a cupcake?" Rainbow asked. Zecora shook her head. "I'm afraid Rainbow Dash, but it must be consumed like it is." "So do we tell her that she can't eat sweets for a week?" Rainbow asked Sunset. "It's for the best Rainbow, I might let her stay at my house till the week is over so she doesn't." Sunset said as they saw the door open. "Hello." Maud said. "Is Pinkie here?" Sunset asked. Maud nodded. "She is in her room sleeping." Maud said. "Is she sick?" Twilight asked. "Seems like she was running all night." Maud said and let the girls in. "Ok, well we're go check on her." Fluttershy smiled as Sunset nodded. "Ok." Maud said. Fluttershy and Sunset walked upstairs with the bottle. "Pinkie?" Fluttershy knocked. They heard a little groaning sound. Sunset and Fluttershy nodded to each other and opened the door. They walked to Pinkie who was watching something on her laptop. She closed it when she saw them. "Hi." She smiled widely and jumped out of bed. Sunset and Fluttershy stood still. "Uh, I thought you were tired?" Sunset said. "Oh that, I'm fine now." Pinkie smiled as Fluttershy nodded as she grabbed the potion. "What is that?" Pinkie asked as looked at the viewer. "Uh, it's medicine. I know you don't feel sick right now, but just in case wanna take some?" Sunset asked. Pinkie looked comfused and then nodded. "What does it taste like?" She asked as she took a spoon from her hair. "Candy flavour." Sunset said. Pinkie then grinned as Fluttershy poured it. She looked at it and then placed it in her mouth. Fluttershy and Sunset grinned as then Pinkie gagged. "Ew, what kind of candy is that made of?" She asked. Sunset shrugged. They then walked downstairs after Pinkie changed into her daily attire. Maud even looked comfused at her. "Ok, so were going to look for that wolf again right?" Rainbow asked as Twilight and Sunset smiled. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The girls looked at the rope. "We need to stop using this rope, I think it causes bad luck." Rainbow said. Twilight then grinned as Applejack came by carrying her cage. "Don't worry, I have something else planned." Twilight smiled using her powers to tie the cage high. Applejack smiled as she loaded her gun. "Why do I think you never had a gun before?" Rainbow asked her. Applejack shrugged. "Ok, Rarity. Get your shields activated." Twilight smiled. "Launch them and, Rainbow can you run and cause a boom?" "Of course!" She looked to Fluttershy and Pinkie. "Try to go easy on her Fluttershy." Pinkie grinned a toothy smile. Fluttershy nodded and started to walk her character. They played the game for at least a couple of hours till midnight. "I have my sleeping bag." Fluttershy smiled as Sunset started to get in bed. "Wait, where is Pinkie?" Sunset asked. Fluttershy smiled and pointed to the downstairs. They saw Pinkie on the couch snoring. "Oh, well guess we can sleep now." Rainbow frowned as she and Applejack were in a tree. "You wonder where the others went?" Applejack asked as she looked down. "AHHHHH!" Applejack looked down to see Rarity falling. "It was convenient." Rainbow said. "Um, should we go find Twilight?" Rarity asked. "Let's go do that." Rainbow said. *Awwwwooo* the girls froze as a high pitched howl was heard. "HEY GUYS!" The girls then fell as a pink wolf snickered. They looked comfused at each other. "Hehe. I heard you near." Pinkie grinned as she quickly disappeared into a tree. "Wait so she is aware?" Rainbow asked Twilight. "Yep, Fluttershy and Sunset fell asleep and I was bored." Pinkie grinned as the girls were now getting up. She quickly hopped down and smiled. "So can you change back?" Twilight asked. Pinkie shook her head. "I tried and knocked Sunset's tv out the window!" She confessed smiling and then felt her ear be lifted up. "Strange, no resemblance to your human ears." Twilight said. "We literally grow horse ears and wings, why does this matter?" Rainbow asked. "Cause were not scooby doo." Pinkie smiled. Applejack shook her head. "That's magic, this is clearly something else." Twilight said. "Yeah, this is not clearly Equestrian magic." Rainbow rolled her eyes as Twilight picked Pinkie up. "I'm mostly curious how Pinkie shrank."
