Cloudsdale, the place where all the Wonderbolts live and practice. It was a normal sunny day. Spitfire was yelling, nothing unusual.
Soarin’ was just flying around until Spitfire yelled.
“SOARIN’! HERE RIGHT NOW!”
The Stallion stopped with a frown and landed in front of the captain of the Wonderbolts.
“Yes ma’am!” He said not looking Spitfire in the eyes.
“Why are you so down lately?! It affects your flight!” Captain shouted.
Soarin’ lowered his head and his eyes saddened.
“I don’t know ma’am, i guess i’m just tired.” He said still not looking Spitfire in her eyes.
“WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?! YOU’RE TOO YOUNG TO BE TIRED OF FLYING!” Spitfire yelled.
“I’m not tired of flying, i’m tired of being lonely.” He said finally looking his captain in the eyes.
“What do you mean?” Spitfire lowered her tone a little.
“I want a mare Spitfire.” Soarin’ said a little bit embarrassed, she was his captain after all.
“Oh you’re just being horny!” Spitfire stared with a disappointed look.
“No! I mean i want a beautiful kind mare who will not be with me just for my money or for being a famous Wonderbolt, and i mean outside of Cloudsdale, here everyone already knows my name, and i’ve already tried a relationship with some Cloudsdale mares, it did not end up well.” said Soarin’. Spitfire winced.
“And what do you want me to do about it?” Said Spitfire raising an eyebrow.
“I mean you could give me a break for a few days, just saying!” He said and looked at Spitfire with hopeful eyes. Spitfire thought about it for a second, and then she said.
“I mean The Wonderbolts Show isn’t for a while now, so you could take a break for a few days. Just tell me where you’re going .”
“I was planning to go to Ponyville, I’ve already written to Rainbow Dash and she said she would help me out, since she knows many mares in Ponyville.” Soarin’ said with a happy smile.
“I have one question, why don’t you want to date Rainbow instead of finding some other mare?” Spitfire asked curiously.
“Well she’s not really into stallions, and she’s not really my taste.” Light blue pegasus stallion said with still a smile on his face.
“Oh okay, you are free tomorrow, now go practice! GO! GO! GO!” Spitfire started yelling again. Soarin’ took off to practice with a huge smile on his face.
*MEANWHILE IN PONYVILLE*
Fluttershy was in her cottage, just feeding her animals when she heard a knock on the door.
“Coming!” she said with her soft, lovely voice. She opened the door. There stood Rainbow Dash alongside tank.
“Oh hi Rainbow, Tank, what brings you two here?” A buttery yellow pegasus said with a smile.
“Hey ‘Shy, i just wanted to drop off tank for a checkup, he wasn’t feeling well lately, i think he has some kind of tortoise disease or something, veterans know.” Dash said with a sudden glimpse of worry.
“Oh sure, i’ll see what i can do.” Fluttershy said.
“Thanks ‘Shy! You’re in good hooves Tank! See ya later!” Rainbow maned mare said as she nuzzled Tank and turned to take off.
“Bye!” Fluttershy called and brought tank inside her cottage.
“Okay let’s see, hmmm.”
Fluttershy counted some symptoms etc. and let out a huge gasp as she pulled out some book from her shelf.
“Oh no! Looks like Rainbow was right! You have a tortoise disease!”
Tank’s smile faded and he saddened. Fluttershy noticed this.
“Oh there’s absolutely nothing to worry about tank, you’ll be fine.” she nuzzled Tank as his smile reappeared.
“I’ll just have to go to Zecora’s hunt a-and get the m-medicine.” She gulped at the thought of going to Everfree forest. But she knew she must go. She called Angel and told him that he’s in charge of the whole cottage.
“I’m counting on you Angel Bunny, i don’t know in what time i will be home, but don’t go outside too far.” Angel grinned. Fluttershy grabbed her saddlebags and was about to took off when she returned to reenter the house.
“You know what this’ll wait until the mornin-“ she was cut off by Angel locking her outside.
“Okay, Angel’s right, I’ll just be quick.”
She entered the Everfree forest, gulped her fear and continued walking.
‘Everything’s going good so far, i’ll just have to be faster, right.’ Fluttershy thought and started walking faster.
She was only two clearings away from Zecora’s hunt when she heard some growls.
‘Oh it’s just my stomach, i’m just hungry...i hope.’ She thought nervously and grabbed an apple from her saddlebag. She heard the growls again, but they weren’t coming from her stomach, but from the deeper part of the Everfree forest and they were coming closer and closer.
‘Oh no, please not now, not timberwolves’
She thought as she saw many glowing yellow eyes around her ready to attack.

Angel had just checked every animal in Fluttershy’s cottage, everything was in control, Tank had just drifted off to sleep.
It was almost 8PM. Angel wondered where her momma was and was a little bit worried for her but he quickly pushed the thought aside with “she will be alright” thought.
He rested on his little bed and slowly drifted off to the dream world.

Angel woke up with a sudden panic attack as he thought
‘I WASN’T SUPPOSED TO FALL ALSEEP!’
He look at the clock, it was early in the morning. Angel hopped to Fluttershy’s bedroom only to find out that she wasn’t there.
Angel started to really panic now.
‘Did momma even return yesterday?’
Angel checked for the saddlebags or breakfast but there were none.
‘She didn’t return’ Angel was devastated, panicked and worried.
He checked all animals and hopped outside the cottage to get help as soon as he could.
Soarin’ woke up in a good mood, he was going to Ponyville today.
He already had bought a cloud house there. He got up and did some chores. Soarin’ said his goodbyes to all of the Wonderbolts, packed his saddlebags and took off to Ponyville.
He was soaring in the sky, he loved the feeling of the wind going throughout his body, fur and mane. The small town of Ponyville came in to the view. Soarin’ smiled and flew towards the ground.
He arrived in his destination, he looked around and was stunned by what he saw. Everyone was friendly to each other, Everyone was smiling and laughing, it was amazing.
“Hey are you new here?”
Soarin’ turned around and saw a pink earth pony with pink fluffy mane bouncing. He was about to say something when the mare gasped.
“OHMYGOSH OHMYGOSH OHMYGOSH YOU ARE SOARIN’ THE WONDERBOLT OMG I CANNOT BELIEVE YOU’RE HERE! I’M GOING TO THROW “WELCOME TO PONYVILLE SOARIN’” PARTY OHMYG-“
Soarin’ put the hoof on her mouth and pink pony stopped.
“Sshhhhh i don’t want anypony to recognize me, now, i will put my hoof away and promise me you will talk quietly.” Said panicked Soarin’ quietly.
Pink earth pony nodded as Soarin’ put his hoof away.
“Wooow ohmygosh what brings you here i’m Pinkie Pie i know everyone in this town.” Said Pinkie a little bit toned down.
“Hi Pinkie, I don’t have much time i’m only here for a few days, I need to find Rainbow Dash.” Soarin’ said.
“Oooh that’s easy, here’s her napping cloud, bye!” Pink earth pony bounced away from soarin.
Soarin’ flew to her napping cloud and found her snoring.
“HELLO RAINBOW DASH!” He shouted.
“I’M 20% COOLER!” Dash awoke from her nap mumbling and frowning.
When Rainbow realized what was happening she asked.
“Oh you already here? So we can start?”
“Yeah.”
They got up and started walking around Ponyville.

“So you said that you had a perfect mare for me.” Soarin’ said.
“Yeah, you will LOVE love her, she’s amazing, plus, she’s my bestest and closest friend, we grew up together.” Rainbow said with a smirk.
“Oh, is this where she lives?” Soarin’ said and pointed to a small wooden cottage in the outskirts of Everfree forest.
“Yeah, you will love that house, it’s the coziest and homiest one in Ponyville.” Dash continued.
Soarin’ was about to say something when a small white bunny appeared and started giving them sign language.
“Angel? What are you doing here?” Rainbow said.
“Who’s Angel” Soarin’ asked.
“He’s Fluttershy’s pet, he’s much of a devil than an Angel.”
Angel hopped to drag their attention on him.
“What do you want?” Blue pegasus mare asked brashly.
Angel was pointing to the Everfree forest as he imitated injured Fluttershy. Rainbow finally understood what he was trying to say and quickly said.
“FLUTTERSHY?! IS IN THERE?! ALONE?! ATTACKED?!” Rainbow shouted.
White bunny nodded.
“Okay, a plan! Soarin, you search that side of the forest, i’ll search the west side.” Rainbow said as she pointed her hoof to the forest.
“But i don’t know what she looks like.”
“She’s a buttery yellow pegasus with soft pink mane and three pink butterflies for her cutie mark.”
Soarin’ nodded and took off to the forest searching for the mare.
‘Where is she, where is she!’ Soarin’ thought as he dashed through the east side of the forest. He stopped when he noticed a blur of yellow and pink in the far distance. He flied towards it only to find unconscious Fluttershy laying on the ground.
‘Wow she is really beautiful-what am i thinking! i don’t even know her!’
he got close to her and checked her pulse
‘Please be alive...Please be alive...’ he thought in worry but it soon drifted away as he found the weak pulse.
‘YES! SHE IS ALIVE!’
He was just about to get her on his back when he heard some growls from behind.
A few yellow glowing eyes moved towards him.
‘Timberwolves’ he realized. He stood protectively in front of Fluttershy. Soarin’
unfurled his wings to protect her.
“Well i know how to deal with Timberwolves” he muttered to himself confidently.
A few seconds later the attack started, Soarin’ did a good job of toaring them apart, but they would get together again, so in meantime he got unconscious Fluttershy on his back and flew out of the Everfree.
When he came back Rainbow was there waiting. Rainbow put on a huge smile when she saw Soarin’ coming with Fluttershy on his back.
“Ohmygosh you found her! but what happened to you?” She asked curiously.
“Oh nothing just a few timberwolves, let’s get her to the hospital.”
they flew as hard es they could. Rainbow Dash shouted as they entered the hospital.
“Quick! Somepony help her!”
An unicorn doctor appeared out of nowhere as he gently put Fluttershy on the medical cart for patients. He rushed towards the surgery room. Soarin followed him but he quickly stopped him.
“I’m sorry but you cannot see her yet. Only family members.” Doctor said as he put his glasses closer to his eyes.
“B-but i’m- i’m...” He found nothing to say.
“I’m her HUSBAND!” He of course lied.
“You are?” Doctor raised his eyebrow.
“Yes of course! We have a foal together!” Okay he had gotten a little too far with that.
“Oh, alright then, you can follow me.” He said turning around.
Rainbow Dash walked up to Soarin’ with a raised eyebrow.
“So you’re Fluttershy’s ‘husband’ huh?”
“Rainbow please don’t tell anypony!” He begged.
“Okay okay i promise i won’t tell anypony, I’ll go take care of your and Fluttershy’s ‘foal’ you have left alone in your ‘house’.”
Rainbow maned mare said with knowing look and gave stallion a wink.
Soarin’ smiled nervously, turned around and followed the doctor as nurse Redheart and other nurses followed too.

Fluttershy’s POV:

Fluttershy yelled in pain as one large timberwolf bite her shoulder, others followed it’s action too. She tried to fight back but failed miserably. She lost all hope, she tried talking to them, but the timberwolves were just TOO cruel.
Timberwolves left after some time, leaving yellow mare alone. Fluttershy got up with all her energy she had left in her body. Pegasus started walking, she didn’t even know where, but somewhere she could find help.
After some time of walking, she gave up... collapsed to the ground with no energy left, pain taking over her body. So this was the end, she was dying young in the deep and scary Everfree forest, alone, unexpectedly. She would never have fun with her friends, visit her family, get married and have foals. She would die horribly, defeated by cruel timberwolves.
She was drifting to unconsciousness when she saw a glimpse of light blue moving towards her, but it was too late, she closed her eyes and haven’t heard anything after.

“We’ll have to do surgery to get all the poison out, i’m sorry but you’ll have to wait outside, you can visit her as soon the surgery is done.” The Doctor said with a firm look.
“She will be alright, right?” Soarin’ said with worried tone, he didn’t even know why he was so worried, he didn’t even know the mare and he was already checking up on her. He just found something special about this mare, the thing he couldn’t place in words.
“She will, we just don’t know when she’ll wake up, the poison really harmed her body, and she wasn’t a strong pony either.”
“What’s the poison you’re talking about?” Soarin’ said.
“Oh, as you saw, the harms on Mrs. Fluttershy’s body were timberwolf bites, they are very poisonous, they weaken a very strong pony’s body too, since Fluttershy wasn’t strong beforehoof, she’ll need more time to heal.” said the Doctor.
“Oh, okay doc, thank you.” Soarin’ said, kind off feeling guilty.
Doctor walked away, leaving Soarin’ alone with a sad face.
“Why do i think this is my fault.” he muttered quietly and walked out of the hospital.
