Daniel Tatsuo is among many whom has experienced the pain of loss, especially when his mother and grandfather died during the years of his young youth. With the final piece of his family, his mothers pendant and his grandfathers sword, he vowed to keep them safe and to always look ahead to the future, never to dwell on the past of sorrow. His life soon leads to an unwelcoming experience when he was attacked and shot, sending him into the depths of the ocean to drown, but the future has other plans for him.

Upon awakening after the experience, Daniel finds himself amongst a new world he has never believed to b possible. this new world filled with creatures resembling anthro like ponies and other beasts one would hear of from legends and fairytales. As he adjusts to his new life in this strange world known as Equestria, Daniel will be faced with many challenges, and learn his true purpose and destiny.
