A sour smell touched Pinkie’s nose as she descended the stairs. With the door sealed shut, and no way to hear what went on in the basement, she could finally relax and enjoy her latest victim. Number 35, Rarity Belle. One of her closest friends. Not the closest, that was preserved for a different, more special pony, but still a close one.
Reaching the bottom, she entered into the small basement below Sugar Cube Corner. She turned on the light to see her guest, tied to an upright table, was still fast asleep. Not wanting to delay any longer, she picked up a nearby bucket and walked over to a sink, filling it to the brim. Quietly, she moved up to Rarity. Without warning, she splashed the bucket on her guest’s face.
Rarity coughed and spat out the water that got in her mouth. She flailed about the table, unable to move more than an inch or two. Her eyes fluttered open and caught the familiar face of her friend. “Heya, Rarity!”
First was the confusion stage. Pinkie Pie noted that everypony she had down there would look around, letting their wide eyes do the talking first. Rarity followed her expectation, looking around at her amazing creations down there.
Full scale, lifelike taxidermist creations of every victim she had. She took pride in the piecing together of ponies. After all, she made extreme wounds that normally couldn’t be hidden during their deaths. Fortunately, through skill, precision, and determination, she was always able to piece them back together.
There were a few scars here and there that she couldn’t get rid of. Holes in pony’s legs, scorched flesh, and one even had a broken horn from a mallet injury. Despite that, they still looked lively, at least.
The poses Pinkie put them in were always so fun to work with. She’d sometimes ask them to give her a pose they’d like to be in after she finished them off, but other times she’d go with her gut. For instance, with Minuette, she decided to position her above another one of her victims, pretending to fix their teeth.
She turned to her newest victim and observed their face. Rarity’s was completely unreadable. It was almost entirely blank, apart from the pinprick eyes. She couldn’t tell if that was from horror, confusion, or just the shock from the cold water.
Slowly, however, she observed the corners of Rarity’s mouth turning. Not downward like with every other victim she had, but upward. Then came a small chuckle. Then, Rarity burst out into hysterics.
This was certainly jarring. Screams happened often, and someponies would give fearful chuckles in hopes of it all being a prank, but never full-on laughter. Anxiety was the first thing that came to Pinkie’s mind. Was she laughing at her creations? Did she make them so poorly that even the shock of seeing them once again was trumped by the quality?
She never really opened herself up to others about her passion for taxidermy. She did show her special somepony some of the creations she made with woodland creatures, and she did get said creatures from another friend of hers, but nopony had ever really reacted to the creations themselves. More the ponies they were made out of.
Before her mane could deflate, however, Rarity explained herself through her hysterics by shouting, “This day has been terrible!” She burst out laughing again before she recounted, “First the post office, then getting mugged, then getting raped… and now, here I am.” Her laughter slowed to giggling, as she said, “Trapped in a basement, with one of my dearest friends, about to be killed and possibly tortured by her.”
Pinkie noticed her victim beginning to tear up a bit, but the smile and giggling remained. “And poor Sweetie Belle will come home, with nopony to greet her…” Another giggle came before Rarity looked up at her. “It’s funny, you know? The only pony who I still love will end up getting screwed by life. Just like me.”
As Rarity’s giggling turned back into hysterical laughter, Pinkie couldn’t help but smile back at her. Now that she knew Rarity wasn’t laughing at her creations, she felt a sense of joy spring back into her mind. That, and a bit of curiosity.
What made Rarity do this? What made her so elated? That question itched at the back of Pinkie’s mind, and she couldn’t help but seek out a reason. Chuckling, she looked up at Rarity and asked, “What’s so funny?”
“I don’t entirely know,” Rarity commented, still laughing. “I just feel… happy, all of a sudden. I suppose all the stress of the day has gotten to me.” Completing her answer, Rarity continued her hysteria.
Though she got an answer, Pinkie wasn’t really satisfied with it, so she pressed onward, still cheery as ever. “What kinda stress? Like the kind when you plan a super-duper amazing surprise party and you get really anxious somepony will tell the pony you're throwing it for?”
“Oh goodness no,” Rarity replied through her laughter. “Pinkie didn’t you hear the part about me being raped? Or that I am being held here against my will? It’s a bad kind, darling,” Rarity explained. Her laughter slowed back to a giggle, as she stared up at Pinkie. “No offense,” she hissed, the comment making her smile wider.
Pinkie didn’t pick up on the obvious jab at her, instead thinking Rarity was being genuine. “None taken,” she sang. “So, while I get my tools ready, wanna explain what happened?”
“Seeing there’s nothing else for me to do,” Rarity chuckled. “Let’s see, here… Where to start…”

“What do you mean you can’t get it there by Monday?” Rarity shouted. “It’s urgent business! Please! I beg you! Coco Pommel is expecting this! She needs this by Monday!”
The desk mare, who already had received a bunch of these complaints from other customers, was tired of her yelling, and stopped being nice. “Ma’am, there is no way to get it there next week,” the mare repeated. “Three of our mail carriers have gone missing, and mail traffic has been high lately. All of our mail carriers are busy, and we have a giant backlog of packages and letters. Even if you pay for express shipping, it can’t get there till Wednesday!”
“But it’s urgent!” Rarity was quickly losing patients with this mare. In the back of her mind, she knew it wasn’t her fault, but that letter was important, and this mare was saying she couldn’t send it in time. Rage exploded inside her, like a volcano erupting, and she made a strange mix between a groan and a shout, before shouting, “I am never using this post office again!”
Failing to get the letter sent on time, Rarity turned around and stomped to the door. Exiting the post office, she slammed the door behind her shut. She huffed as she started to stomp away. She knew she was lying to that desk mare, seeing the Ponyville Express was the only post office in Ponyville and she didn’t care. She wanted to make a point, and she did.
The warm summer breeze flew through her mane as she began to calm back down. She only had one more thing to do that day, and it was unlikely they were out of stock, seeing that they had an abundance of the dragon cut gemstones just two days prior.
Seeing that the store was across town from where she was, Rarity decided to quicker route. She chose to cut through a back alley that led directly to the financial district. From there, all she’d need to do is travel north for a while, until she arrived at her destination.
She had gone down it many times, so her guard was let down. Most of the surrounding buildings belonged to lawfirms, financial aids, and other small businesses that would no doubt come to help her should she hurt herself. She knew the ponies working in those buildings, and she trusted they’d come to her rescue no matter what.
Almost as if on cue, Rarity felt a thin metal object wind near her throat. Freezing in her tracks, she tried to eye it down. A switchblade, with a tan handle and bloodstains, met her. “Listen up,” a low voice called. “You’re gonna give me those saddlebags without a fight, kay?”
Rarity wasn’t a fool, and wouldn’t risk her life for some bits and her fashionable saddlebags. But, she wouldn’t just give it to them. Not without making their presence known. Practically shouting, Rarity replied, “Please, just don’t hurt me!”
The pony chuckled to themselves as they levitated the bags off of Rarity’s back. Rarity turned to see them running away, with no features visible. She expected somepony to go running after them, but nopony did. It wasn’t necessary, just an inconvenience. Luckily, she hadn’t had many bits in her saddlebags anyway, only carrying enough for a few gemstones, and she could always sew a new bag. Just a minor inconvenience, she reminded herself.
Seeing she just got mugged, however, Rarity decided to leave the alley. Finding an exit, she made her way back onto the main streets of Ponyville. She now needed to head to her shop, which just so happened to be near the financial district, so she didn’t need to change course too much.
The travel to the financial district was stopped yet again, however, as one of Rarity’s students interrupted her. She felt a talon tap her on the shoulder, and turned to see them. “Oh, hello there, Gallus. Do you need something?”
Gallus glanced over to the side for a second, before looking back at Rarity. Nodding, he tried to figure out what to say. “Can you help me?” he inquired. “I’m trying to find… uh… shoot, what was that place…” He lifted a talon to the back of his neck and scratched as he thought about where he wanted to go. “O-Okay, look. I’m trying to find this place, uh… I think it said something about sugar on the sign?”
“Sugar Cube Corner, perhaps?” Rarity asked.
“Yeah! That’s it! I’m looking for Sugar Cube Corner,” Gallus stated. He paused for a moment before adding, “I’m… meeting a friend there, and, uh… Oh, right. See, they’re bringing another pony there, and I’m supposed to scare them as a prank, so I need to sneak up on them. Could you help me?”
“A prank?” Rarity questioned. “Why?”
“Uh…” Gallus tried to think something up before replying, “He… He pranked my friend Ocellus, and… she wanted to get him back.”
Sugar Cube Corner was a bit of a detour, but Rarity decided to take him there. “Alright,” she said, cautiously. “Just… make sure not to scare them too much, okay?” Getting a nod, Rarity began walking, making sure Gallus was following.
A short time later, Rarity and Gallus were only one block away from Sugar Cube Corner. There was an alley that would lead directly to the building that would be the perfect place to sneak up on whoever would be with Ocellus. “Take this alleyway here. It leads directly to Sugar Cube Corner, and should provide you with enough of a surprise.”
“Oh,” Gallus said, seemingly disappointed. Thinking fast, he asked, “Could you come with me? I-uh, I was… uh, mugged earlier, and I kinda am scared to go through another alley alone.” Finishing, he gave a nervous chuckle.
Not wanting him to be worried, Rarity decided to walk him through. She began walking through the alleyway, Gallus following her. “I’m so sorry to hear that, darling. I’m afraid I was too, actually. Hence why I don’t have any saddlebags.”
As the two walked, Rarity spotted an out of place dumpster. She had memorized the location of every single dumpster, and she distinctly remembered the blue one being a bit further down. She did it more out of sheer boredom when Pinkie Pie had been ranting about something. Odd.
They approached it and past it by slowly. Rarity was quick to look behind it, only to see nopony there. Letting out a sigh, Rarity continued, until she heard an echoing scrape. She froze for only a moment, before a heavy figure fell onto her back.
She fell to the ground, hitting her jaw hard on the dirt. She was about to look up before a blindfold was thrown over her eyes and tied tightly. Her mind immediately went to all the missing pony flyers around town.
Rarity’s heart raced as she opened her mouth to scream, only for a piece of cloth to be stuffed into it, and also tied behind her head. She felt the figure move again, this time to her side. The figure held her down on one side, the other side being held down by a talon.
“W-We did what you asked,” Gallus replied to somepony Rarity was unable to observe. “N-Now are you gonna burn those photos?”
A very low voice answered, “After I’m done.” The voice was clearly being magically modified. It was far too low for anypony to have it naturally, and it was a bit robotic. “You don’t know how long I’ve waited for this,” the voice hummed, shifting their weight onto her.
She knew what was going to happen now. She tried to squirm away, but the two other creatures held her down. Letting out a muffled scream, she tried to buck and wiggle about, but was held still.
“Wait,” another voice called. It sounded like Ocellus was the other creature holding her down. “D-Do you have to do this? C-Can’t we work something else out? L-Like maybe I-”
“No,” the low voice replied. Without any more waiting, the figure slipped something into Rarity’s nether region. It was bumpy and slick. It wasn’t a stallion’s cock, that was for sure. It had strange folds along the top of it, and was extremely warm. Unnaturally so. What exactly were they putting in her?
Gallus’s talons were shifting about as well, moving all the way to her back. What she found especially odd, however, was the fact that her right side was still being held down without falter. They didn’t pierce her flesh, but they were very sharp.
The strange object within her marehood began thrusting lightly, causing her to squirm as best as she could. Rarity clenched her teeth together and tired her best not to observe it. She breathed slowly, trying to calm herself down. It would be over soon. All she had to do was wait it out.
Time was at a snail’s pace. The slow thrusting went on for a long time, slowly gaining speed and violence. She felt slimy and nauseous. Her body rag-dolled, not having the strength to fight back whoever was on top of her.
After ages had gone by, they halted, as a hot substance poured into her. A very hot substance. A substance so hot it burned her. She screamed in pain, her cries muffled by the makeshift gag in her mouth.
Tears flowed out of her eyes as she felt her insides being flayed by the fiery substance. The figure fell down upon her and breathed heavily near her ear. The breath wafted to her nose, where she picked up an all too familiar scent. Peppermint.
Those talons weren’t Gallus’s, nor were they talons at all. She now knew who was above her, and her heart sunk. She felt the makeshift gag untie, and it slipped away. “Not a word, understood?” He asked, the voice modifier still in place.
Sobbing, Rarity conceded, “I-I won’t tell a soul. J-Just let me go. Please, S-Spiky… Please…”
He stiffened upon hearing his name. After a second or two, she felt him untie her blindfold and saw the voice modifier thrown onto the ground in front of her. A red bowtie with gemstones encrusted into it, enchanted by magic. “Good,” he finally spoke, sliding off of her. “I’ll… see you tomorrow.”
With that, she heard Spike walk away. Ocellus and Gallus quickly ran off behind him, probably concerned about whatever photos Spike had. She stood up and continued walking towards Sugar Cube Corner, not bothering to look back at Spike and his entourage.
A small little bell rang as a tired-out Rarity entered the bakery, the smell of cinnamon filling her nose. She looked around and saw Pinkie attending the counter. “P-Pinkie?” Rarity asked.
The pink mare’s attention was quickly grabbed by Rarity’s voice. “Rarity! Good to see you! You need something?”
“Y-Yes, I-I do,” Rarity replied. “I was hoping, maybe, I could borrow your shower for a bit? I… I need to freshen up a bit.”
“Well sure,” Pinkie said, bouncing over to Rarity. She held a plate with a single muffin on it. “But, before you do, will you eat this muffin? I made it especially for you!”
Pinkie sense, Rarity remembered. Seeing no harm in it, she simply levitated the treat to her and took a small bite. “Mm,” Rarity cooed, satisfied with its flavor. She took another bite, and then another, and soon she ate the whole thing. She felt herself getting tired, and the world began to grow darker, but she didn’t care. Whatever was in the muffin was making her far too relaxed. Then, everything faded.

“…and now… here I am,” Rarity said, giggling again. “About to die on the worst day in my life!” She cackled madly, letting her head push against the upright table she was strapped on.
“At least it’ll be over soon,” Pinkie reminded, still preparing something. Loud clangs and the sound of sharpening a knife echoed to the left of Rarity. “So, got a pose you’d like to be in?”
Rarity barely even heard Pinkie’s question over her cackling, nor did she really care, but then an idea popped into her mind. Her laughter slowed, and she inquired, “Are there any limitations?”
“Nope,” Pinkie replied. She bounced in front of Rarity, holding a very sharp knife. “You’re one of my best-est friends ever, so I’ll do whatever you want! You name it!”
A low giggle came from Rarity, her eyes squinting a bit as she stared at the knife. Her smile went from a manic one to a wicked one. “Me on top of Spike with that knife jabbing into his chest. Oh, and that mugger? I want his or her head bashed in next to us. Can you do that?”
“Sure thing,” Pinkie replied. She took a step closer to Rarity, still holding the sharp knife. “My Pinkie sense should clue me in on who mugged you, and I’ve had my eye on Spike for a while. Now I have an excuse to go through with it!”
Without warning, Pinkie slashed at Rarity’s right flank. Rarity yelped in pain, which was to be expected. However, soon after her giggling returned, growing into full laughter again. Blood dripped down her hindleg, staining her perfectly white coat.
Again, Rarity impressed Pinkie with her laughter. Wanting to see it happen again, Pinkie moved to her left flank and repeated the action. This time, Rarity didn’t even stop laughing, just becoming slightly louder for a moment.
Pinkie giggled in return, saying, “There’s more where that came from!” She always loved to toy with her soon to be taxidermized guests, but most didn’t share her enthusiasm. Rarity, however, was laughing along with her, so she felt invigorated to try as hard as possible.
Pinkie slashed, again and again, starting with Rarity’s torso. Her chest rose and fell in an uneven pattern, caused by her laughter. Pinkie moved to her forelegs, which twitched and shook, but didn’t do much else. Then came her face, which was by far the hardest. Her head bounced up and down, causing Pinkie to accidentally cut into her ear.
Unsatisfied, Pinkie set down her knife and turned to her box of toys. She shifted through the contents, looking at every option she had. Everything from different types of knives, to hammers, to pliers. There were so many options, but none would do. She needed something slower. More painful, but also more entertaining.
Pinkie stood up and moved away from Rarity’s eyesight again, only to return a few seconds later with a syringe full of green liquid. Without hesitation, she jabbed Rarity’s left foreleg and injected the strange substance. “I wonder,” she thought aloud, pulling out the needle. “Do you think I could pop some popcorn before that starts to take effect?”
She rubbed her chin in contemplation, starring at Rarity, who was still laughing. Little twinges in Rarity’s eyes told her exactly what she was wondering. “Guess not. Oh well,” she said, sitting down.
“You know, I gotta say, I’m surprised Spike didn’t rape you before,” Pinkie commented, trying to keep conversation as she waited for the effects to kick in. “I mean, he’s been wanting you ever since he met you! Then again, maybe he didn’t because he thought he had a chance with you. Hm… What do you think?”
Rarity didn’t really care, so she ignored Pinkie’s question. Her skin was beginning to itch, like she had gotten a million mosquito bites. It radiated from the spot Pinkie injected her, which had a tiny drop of blood around it.
“Heh, guess you’re too busy laughing to answer,” Pinkie spoke. “That’s okay. I’ve been there too. Like this one time, when Maud told me this super hilarious joke while we were out swimming. I didn’t stop laughing for an entire week! My parents and siblings ended up wearing earplugs that we use when chipping at rocks just to block out the noise! Can you believe that?”
Her skin was starting to burn. On top of that, her heart was now racing, and the world had begun spinning in strange spirals. Everything had a greenish tint to it, and waved like the ocean.
“Oh, or this one time,” Pinkie continued, “when I first met the Cakes, and Mr. Cake slipped on a banana peel and, instead of slipping, it stuck to his hoof like glue!” She giggled, thinking back on the strange oddity. “I wonder why it was so stuck on there…”
Pinkie continued to ramble on and on while Rarity’s condition began to deteriorate. She felt like she was wearing a skintight suit made of fire. It constantly licked at her, no matter where she moved. Her eyes began to fog, the world spinning more rapidly with harsher waves. Her mouth began feeling numb, and the air became thick as she breathed in.
As time went on, she felt more and more in agony. One minute went by, Pinkie still rambling on about something. Then two. Her horn felt like it was going to split in half. Her head pounded, her blood rushing up to it. Her chest felt heavy, and the air was almost solid.
Despite all the pain she was going through, she still smiled and giggled, though her laughter slowed as the symptoms became worse. She wore that smile past the point when she felt her heart stop. She felt the cool embrace of unconsciousness as the flames died down.
In her last moments, Rarity thought of Sweetie Belle again. Memories of her and her sister bonding happily. The sisterhood social, camping, dressing up…
Then came the worries. What would happen to her? Would she be able to move on? Would she ever even know what happened to her sister. All these questions would flow out of Rarity’s mind, as a bright glow filled the mare’s mind. Goodbye, Sweetie Belle.
