The Ghost inside a mind

The following morning, Sunset Shimmer woke up with a big smile on her face, as if she was ready to greet the day with open arms. All of her friends were performing activities at the camp, from canoeing to bean bag throwing. Sunset was happy that everyone was out and about, well almost everyone, as she didn't see Twilight Sparkle anywhere, but then she heard a loud snore above her. When she looked above her, she saw that Twilight was fast asleep on a tree branch. Sunset thought that it was odd for Twilight to be asleep at this time of day, so she walked up to the tree Twilight was on and she said, "Hey Twilight, are you getting up, we have a lot of fun activities to do today."

"Mmm, huh, Sunset, is that you? (YAWWWWNNN), why are you interrupting my nap?" Twilight said with an annoyed tone of voice.

"Twilight, I'm sorry, it's just that everyone is out there having fun and you're up there counting z's. I was wondering if you wanted to go canoeing with me." Sunset said.

"Ok, ok, fine, I'm coming," Twilight said as she jumped from the tree branch and followed Sunset towards the canoes.

As Sunset was in the water, admiring the scenes before her, she saw Twilight drinking from her mug of coffee. As she did so, she saw Twilight's face and said, "Twilight are you getting enough sleep? You look completely exhausted. Were you having another nightmare about Midnight Sparkle?"

"Sunset, I'm fine, I just need some coffee to help me wake...up..." As Twilight was talking to Sunset, she saw something in the water. And when she looked in the water, a large eye appeared that said in the same shrill evil voice, "LET ME OUTTTTT!!!!"

"LEAVE ME ALONE!" Twilight screamed as she splashed the horrid reflection away.

Sunset then saw her friend in distress and went up to her and said, "Twilight, what's wrong? Who are you talking to?"

Don't worry, Sunset, it was nothing. Let's just...," Before she finished, Sunset said, "It didn't sound like nothing was wrong, maybe we should head back and I'll let you sleep for the day."

The very mentioning of sleep angered Twilight a little and she shouted, "I SAID I'M FINE!"

This made Sunset back away in shock of Twilight's comment. "Ok Twilight, there's no need for you to shout at me, I just wanted to know what was bugging you," Sunset said. This made Twilight even angrier, but when she spoke, Sunset was beghasted by Twilight's hate-filled words.

"Oh, you just think that you want to solve everyone's problems for them, well guess what miss know it all, I DON'T WANT YOU HELP, I DON'T NEED YOUR HELP, AND THE SOONER YOU GET THAT THROUGH YOU THICK SKULL, THE SOONER YOU CAN GET OUT OF MY FUCKING LIFE!" Twilight roared with rage.

Sunset was utterly shocked, she had never heard Twilight yell at her like that or use swear words, like ever. Sunset couldn't even speak because of not only how unusually angry Twilight was acting, but of how hurtful her words were to Sunset.

This irritated Sunset, and she shouted, TWILIGHT, WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?! ALL I WANTED TO DO WAS HAVE A FUN DAY WITH YOU, AND YOU SAY SUCH HURTFUL THINGS TO ME. I JUST WANTED TO KNOW WHAT WAS WRONG WITH YOU...TWILIGHT ARE YOU EVEN LISTENING TO A WORD I'M..." Before she could finish, Twilight then slapped her across the face, and when she spoke, it wasn't in her voice, but a voice she had never heard before, TWILIGHT IS NOT HERE! BOO! HAHAHAHAHAHA!" She said with a sinister and maniacal look on her face.

"Midnight Sparkle, leave her alone," Sunset said, but the voice then said, I'M NOT MIDNIGHT SPARKLE, I'M ZS'SKAYR! REMEMBER THAT NAME WELL, CAUSE IT'S THE NAME THAT'S NOW GOING TO DROWN YOU!" Twilight said as she tried to grab Sunset, the sun's rays hit Twilight, and then Sunset heard her say, "NOOOOO! I'M NOT GOING BACK!" And then Twilight went unconscious and fell out of the canoe and into the deep water. Sunset called out for Twilight as she sunk into the murky depths below.
