Set in an alternate Earth where magic is an everyday occurrence.

This is the story of Spike Drakestar, an eighteen year old Dragonblood (a human with draconic ancestry) who has a somewhat boring life but is content with just learning some skills in college and helping around his family's ranch. One day, that all changes when he is attacked by a magic-eating creature called a magi-mutant but is rescued by three winged unicorn mares.

The three reveal themselves as alicorns, legendary creatures who were thought to be myths even in a world of magic. Apparently, they have marked the young man as their herdmate. Now not only does Spike have to deal with three absurdly powerful mares, who can take any form they please and follow him around constantly, but he also has to deal with advances of other girls who have a thing for him. Add to that, the idea of him fighting off more of those magic sucking monstrosities as well as other foes.

Spike's life is about to get a little more interesting.
