The Ancient times of Equestria, were not what they are like now. Equestria is merely a content, on the beautiful earth like planet.....Equa. Many year's ago in Ancient time's, Starswirl the Bearded led a team who's original job was to explore the lore of their beautiful society. Unicorn's, Alicorn's, Pegasi, Earth Ponies, Siren's, Changeling's, Pixies, Draconqui, Dragon's, Manticore's, Hydra's, Sea Ponies, Kirin, and more that followed. The Siren's, and Sea Ponies were just the very beginning of what creature's came from the ocean's, and the other continent's across by sea. The first species that Starswirl encountered, was a powerful oceanic predator race that began to grow, and grow, and grow.

These creature's had stretched over mile's, and miles of ocean, and despite the other predator's that were massive giant's....these creature's remained the Apex Predator's of the ocean, and came to the place that would be Equestria for harvest. The beast's could breath out of water, and survived by feeding on the magic of lifeform's by devouring it from the meat of it's prey. These creature's chose Equestrian ponies as their diet, due to them having the most magic, generating in their bodies. Starswirl the bearded, and his friend's attacked these creature's head on, but their numbers were too many. Starswirl the bearded pleaded for help, as he activated a spell that summoned 4 Goddesses from the heaven's.

The Goddesses stopped the destruction, by freezing time, and speaking to Starswirl himself. The Goddesses explained that these creature's were a part of Equestria, and that they should be a part of this planet. After a long discussion they came to an agreement, as the Goddesses created a unique lifeform's that would breed, live, and forever roam Equestrian's ocean that would be the alternate food source of survival, for the Sharklantean's, out in the ocean.....Magic Seal's. Starswirl the Bearded kept the identities of these creature's a secret, and made sure that no one would explore the ocean's of Equestria.

The Goddesses themselves stayed on Equestria, taking a form they appreciated, and searched the ocean's of the planet. Thousand's of other continent's, and many different types of Sharklantean's were discovered in the wild, killing each other for food, or for territory. To seek peace, the Goddesses created four clan's to make a new home with both magic, and technology for these predatory creatures to have their own society. These four clan's were formed, and named by one of the Goddesses who watched over the clan's itself.

The first clan was comprised of most of the normal Sharklantean's, but they were trained in way's that weaponized their instinct, and the environment around them....becoming a powerful Nightstalker, like a silent werewolf that attacked in the night.....This, was the Predator Clan.

The second clan was comprised of the first types of Sharklantean like creatures that blessed Equestria's water's when the world was very, very young. Through time, these creature's have survived, and seemed to be the most powerful Sharklantean's with strength, and power on their side.....forming The Ancient Clan.

The third clan was comprised of strange Sharklantean Creature's that seemed to eat differently from the other Sharklantean's; unlike other's when they drained the magic from their prey's body, the magic was converted into dark magic for them to survive.....these weird, and most psychotic Sharklantean's formed......The Dark Clan.

The fourth, and final Sharklantean Clan consisted of powerful Sharklantean's who could wield the Element's of the planet that no one could repeat, and have power's that were hard for other's to rival......this, was The Elemental Clan.

With these four Sharklantean Clan's these creature's were able to live their own private life in the deepest darkest ocean's, never coming to Equestria's shore's....but time's changed. The Changeling's wanted to expand their hive to the other continent's to feed on the love from other creature's, outside the Equestrian continent domain. The most powerful Changeling, and what was left of her massive hives, took flight to said water's. A war broke out between the Sharklantean Clan's who were united to drive the Changeling's from their home's. The Sharklantean's were driven by instict alone, and with no females of these species to be there.....they were too powerful to stop.

The Changeling race, as arrogant as they were, had been completely eradicated by the powerful oceanic race of Sharklantean's. Most of these Changeling's became destroyed in the war, and as a result for punishment.....their last Queen......Chrysalis, and her hive were banished to the Badland's for exposing the Sharklantean's to Equestria, after Starswirl's agreement. Ashamed, by their loss in the war.....the last of the Changeling's....kept the Sharklantean's a mystery forever, and the Sharklantean's were once again able to live in peace......until now.
