Creature: Dark Apakolypse

After many pleasant night's, and much relaxation spent, it wasn't long before they made their way to where the Predator Clan civilization used to be. Creature, and Ripjaw had looked down at the water's below, seeing thousand's of the Infected Sharklantean's passing by, for some reason ignoring the vessel that rested at the top. Rainbow Dash, Lovebug Sektiss, Lotus Moon, Saphirus, and Echo all stared down into the waters below with the two un-infected Sharklantean's that layed deep in those water's. "I don't get it....why are they not attacking us, don't they know where right above them?" Saphirus asked, as one of the Infected Sharklantean's looked up at Saphirus with it's bloodied maw before slowly turning back, circling the other's.

"It seem's that all of them know we are here, but judging by the way they are circling the civilization, they are waiting for us to jump right in, and then swarm us from all sides" Creature explained, as Lovebug Sektiss spoke up.

"That is if the infection doesn't hit us with it's first progression" She scoffed, as Creature turned to the Changeling.

"The infection last day's, not second's even if we were infected they would make sure to get a bite out of us to make the infection instant" Creature explained, as they both looked down into the water itself.

"I do not like the look of this at all.....they almost remind me of a swarm of ugly spiders playing dead to get there prey" Lotus shivered, as Saphirus pulled up a remote control drone that he developed during the past few day's of their travel.

"Well, this drone is the best I could create in such a short span of time, thankfully it should be able to get the job you wanted done, but I don't know the layout of this civilization" Saphirus explained, as Creature stood over his shoulder to help guide the drone that Saphirus had already thrown into the water.

"Don't worry I will act as guide through the vast tunnel's that the civilaztion had." Creature assured him, as Saphirus nodded before putting the drone's sensor on.

"Man....the look on these scanner's say that most of it is already infected" Saphirus realized, as Creature let out a deep sigh.

"Almost all of the place was nearly pure except the Quarantine zone when I was last there....the final Sharklantean was about to reach the final stage of infection, signaling that the Predator Clan's colony was no longer safe, and I had to leave the area with the future of all Sharklantean's at my disposal" Creature explained, as Saphirus leaned his head back a bit, but kept his eyes on the drone's viewscreen.

"Where exactly is the tunnel you exited out of?" Saphirus asked, seeing the many, aquatic tunnels of rock, as Creature pointed to the center one.

"There, that was the last un-infected tunnel" Creature answered, pointing at it with his huge clawed finger. Saphirus piloted the drone inside the tunnel that Creature had pointed out, while scanning the outer tunnel, and when getting to the steel door, also using an x-ray scan for the inner part of the area.

"Gaaahh.....it's no good that last tunnel has been scanned as Infected both inside, and out." Saphirus grumbled, as Ripjaw growled angrily.

"DAMMIT.....THAT WAS THE ONLY WAY INSIDE THE COLONY, HOW ARE WE SUPPOSE TO GET IN THERE NOW!?!?!?!?!?!" Ripjaw asked, as Saphirus spotted something very odd, that looked like some very good news for them.

"Wait a minute I think I found an odd hole that lead's to the surface that isn't Infected.....here take a look" Saphirus mentioned, handing Creature the huge tablet that had the drone's camera's on, and working with the infection camera. Creature spotted a clear, underwater current that look like it led inside the Predator Clan's civilization.

"That's the Predator Clan's oceanic recycle current, the cleaner bot's in that substation must still be active, and are preventing from the Infection getting through that access hatch....it's both a way in, and out of the civilization....but be warned the infection is already inside, and may have already mutated" Creature explained, as Saphirus smiled.

"Well we have our way in, and judging by the speed of the current the rest of you will be diving down, and riding it?" Rainbow Dash asked, as Creature nodded.

"Indeed, Captain Rainbow Dash that's just the strategy for us to use, and we'll be able to find some info on Poseidon's breath, and the location of the other Clan's...and maybe even a cure for the infection itself." Creature replied with a confident smile on his face.

"No offense, but me, and Echo are going to be staying on the ship thank you very much, bat ponies, and Pegasi aren't really good deep sea diver's" Rainbow Dash told him, as she folded her arm's.

"That's okay, besides I would agree with you nonetheless" Echo responded, as Lovebug Sektiss sighed before speaking.

"I'm staying on this boat too, someone need's to have a defense just in case the Infected Sharklantean's attempt to attack our boat, and Changeling's don't really belong underwater" Lovebug Sektiss explained, as Rainbow Dash had a smug smile on her face before speaking.

"Maybe that's why you Changeling's were defeated by the Sharklantean's so easily in the past, because you couldn't swim to the kingdom's, and attack them from the inside out" Rainbow Dash chuckled, as Lovebug Sektiss responded, by raising her middle finger at the Pegasaus. Rainbow Dash merely brushed the earlier insult to her off, as she went to pilot the ship, and adjusted the course of the vessel to their entry point. Lotus Moon, and Saphirus had gotten into their scuba diving gear that they packed with them which also protected their weapon's from water damage, as they looked down at the huge current with Creature, and Ripjaw.

"Just the four of us going into one of the lion's den.....joy" Saphirus sighed, as Lotus Moon gave him a quick peck on the cheek before smiling.

"Don't worry Saphy.....we've got this, plus maybe you can take notes when we get back to the ship" Lotus Moon suggested, as Saphirus looked at her with a smile.

"Your right Lotus.....we've got this.....together" Saphirus smiled, as the two, and the Sharklantean's looked down at the huge ocean.

"3.....2.....1.......HERE WE GO!!!!!!!!!" Creature roared, as all of them jumped into the water. The current was in a whirlpool shape, as it sounded like it was roaring. All of them rode the very powerful current, passing, and dodging many of the huge, futuristic, underwater cleaning bot's that kept the current the way it was, and the place un-infected. Lotus could feel her heart pounding, her breathing getting heavy, as she kept an eye on her oxygen tank. Saphirus also made sure to keep an eye on his oxygen tank to not run out of air. Lotus managed to calm herself down, and stayed focused before all of them journeyed inside the huge underwater cave system that was the home of the Predator Clan.

The current died down, and the outside ocean began to vanish, as huge cave tunnel's led them inside, and caused them to surface in a abandoned, incomplete docking station. All four of them got out, as Lotus, and Saphirus gasped for air, taking off the flippers, and oxygen tank's before bringing out their weapon's, and staying on guard. Creature, and Ripjaw were on the heaviest guard, scanning the entire area, not coming across anything. The place seemed clear, but eerie, as both Sharklantean's continued forward. "This way" Creature told them, as they all journeyed across the engine room like hall's, as Saphirus stared at it with amazement.

"Whoa.....so this is the bottom area of civilization....wow...." Saphirus said in disbelief, as he looked at a tank storage room that seemed to be connected to the other areas of the ocean. The water itself was blood red, and so thick it looked like a tank of blood, and not ocean water that was infected.

"Um.....why do you all have tank's of blood running through this area?" Lotus Moon asked, as Ripjaw replied.

"Those aren't tank's of blood....those enormous tank's allow the docking areas to flood, and dump water in the room's with each Sharklanteans departure, or arrival. The reason the water itself is blood red, is when the Tryphoceaus virus in the Zombie Sharklantean's is spread through water, the water itself changes color. If the water is blue the infection hasn't arrived. If the water is dark purple the infection has taken over the ocean itself, if it's blood red then the virus has been in that part of the ocean for so long that is has replaced the ocean water with it's own water essence form" Ripjaw explained, as they continued onward.

"Wait if the Infection's that bad, and the cure hasn't been created, how are the cleaning bot's keeping that current un-infected?" Lotus Moon asked, as Creature answered her question.

"The bot's have a huge back-up generator than can last for almost a full week, and the room that control's the bot's seem's to have something keeping the Zombie Sharklantean's out" Creature explained.

"Do you think we can take apart one of the cleaning bot's, and get a sample of the cure that way?" Lotus Moon asked.

"Becasue they are our only way in, and out without being Infected, we try to take one apart, and we'll be Infected" Ripjaw answered, as Lotus Moon spoke again.

"Ok then let's not touch 'em" She said hurriedly. Three huge boom's were heard, as they all came across three un-infected Sharklantean's that got in there way. All of them had their weapon's ready, as the Sharklantean's looked to be in survival mode their eyes blood red. One of them was 12 feet tall, while the other two were only 9 feet tall.

"Three more species of Sharklantean of the Predator Clan, which one are these?" Saphirus asked, as Creature spoke.

"The first one on the left is a Basking Sharklantean" Creature answered.

The Basking Sharklantean has a similar battle strategy to the Thresher Sharklantean except with a few differences. It uses a tail attack in battle, and it uses it's claws. There is one difference to it's eating habit....it is the only Sharklantean that lives, by feeding off microscopic organism's that live in the ocean, that refill it's body with magic. It swim's in the water with it's mouth wide open to be fed, as it devour's it's prey. It also immune to places with extreme heat.

Saphirus had kept this info in mind, as Lotus Moon spoke up. "What type of Sharklantean is on the right?" She asked, as Ripjaw spoke up.

"That would be a Megamouth Sharklantean" Ripjaw replied.

The Megamouth Sharklantean is a tough Sharklantean who is one out of many Sharklantean's that has a lot of jaw strength. It's bite force is very powerful to break it's enemies in half, or rip flesh from bone. If it's jaw strength isn't enough, it's powerful punches are just as savage, as is it's jaws when this Sharklantean attack's.

Saphirus shuddered at the thought of hearing this information before a deep thundering voice spoke up. "Stand down....brother's, these are allies" The third Sharklantean spoke, as he looked down at the two Sharklantean's of the same clan. "It's good to see some fellow Sharklantean faces of the same clan....I am Tigerclaw" The Sharklantean introduced, as Ripjaw, and Creature both introduced themselves. "Thank the goddesses your all here, we've been trapped in this room for an entire week, and have had to force feed ourselves some ration's not of our liking, just to survive" Tigerclaw told them, as Creature spoke.

"I thought all of the other Sharklantean's had either left, or were already infected" Creature pondered, as Tigerclaw spoke.

"I came back to retrieve a few thing's, but by the time I did, shit had gone down. The quarantine was lose, and we both had to retreat. I had to save these Sharklantean's in the process, and we've been trapped in this room for a whole week" Tigerclaw explained, as Saphirus spoke up.

"What Sharklantean species are you?" Saphirus asked, easily wanting to know more so that he could remember much later. Tigerclaw looked down at the Equestrian Unicorn before speaking.

"So......Creature brought help huh....to be honest I may have overheard your conversation with Veun before everything went down, what do you have planned Creature?" Tigerclaw asked, as Lotus Moon spoke up.

"HEY, DON'T INGORE US!!!!!!!!" Lotus Moon shouted with her hand's on her hip's, as Creature smiled before speaking.

"I will tell you, after your answer Saphirus's question" Creature explained, as Tigerclaw nodded before turning to Saphirus.

"Apologies, I wanted to make sure that you two were with Creature....as for your earlier question sir.....I am a Tiger Sharklantean.

Tiger Sharklantean's are as unique as they are dangerous as Bull Sharklantean's, and Great White Sharklantean's. Similar to the Bull Sharklantean the tipped fin's on their arm's are sharp, and can be used in battle, while the Bulll Sharklantean's one's are bigger, and act more like sword's...the Tiger Sharklantean's are smaller, and act like knives due to it's size, and muscle. Among many other's of the Sharklantean species....the Tiger's feet are Polydactyle, able to bee full humanoid with five toes, and claw's. They are heavy hitter's, powerful biter's, and one of the hardest tail whacker's.
Not only that, but these Sharklantean's are one of the highest jumper's, able to reach areas that other Sharklantean's can't.

Saphirus was rather interested in this information, but was able to put it aside like all of the other Sharklantean's information. He, and his marefriend also introduced themselves to Tigerclaw, as he introduced himself, and the other two Sharklantean's even though they didn't talk.

"So as I asked before, what do you have planned Creature?" Tigerclaw asked, as Creature spoke.

"I plan to find the map that tell's me the location of the other three Clan's, also search for the map to Poseidon's breath, and see if I can find a sample for making a cure for this virus as well" Creature explained, as Tigerclaw let out a deep sigh.

"Well....your going to have to do a lot of fighting to get to it. Those are going to be in Veun's secret quarter's, but beyond the door we are all standing in front of there's Infected Sharklantean's, so when the door's open........" Tigerclaw explained, as Lotus Moon finished his sentence.

".....We are going to have A LOT, of company" Lotus Moon told him, as Tigerclaw nodded.

"Let's get ready, because this is going to be hectic, and whatever you do, don't let them scratch, or bite you" Creature told them, as all of them prepared for battle.

Rainbow Dash, Echo, and Lovebug Sektiss were all on the floating ship, as they looked like they were completely bored. Many minutes had ticked by, and it felt like their was almost nothing to do. The three mares mostly sulked around, as even more minutes ticked by, as Lovebug let out a long sigh before speaking. "UUUGGGHHH, This is so boring what's taking so long already?" Lovebug Sektiss whined, as Rainbow Dash looked at her, and spoke.

"Hey Changeling this process isn't exactly quick take a chill pill, and keep quiet" Rainbow Dash told her, as Lovebug Sektiss rolled her eyes.

"Hey, I'm at least staying behind to help guard this ship even though I have to deal with you Rainbow" Lovebug Sektiss growled, as Rainbow gave her a cold response.

"It's not exactly a part for me either ya bitch ass hoe" Rainbow scoffed, further angering the Changeling who had been having a bit of trouble getting along with her the past few day's.

"HOW ABOUT I PUT MY FIST WHERE YOUR MOUTH IS!!!!!!!!!!" Lovebug growled, making Rainbow Dash snarl, as she approached her with an angry stare.

"Oh you want fight me huh....Bring it bitch, BRING IT!!!!!!!!!!!" Rainbow growled, as the two mares were about to charge at each other, until Echo got in between them pushing them aside.

"ENOUGH......BOTH OF YOU, I get both of you are the wild one's, and have a lot of trouble getting along lately, but right now we can't continue fighting amongst each other, so I need both of you mare's....'TA GET ALONG!!!!!!!!" Echo shouted, as both mares sighed looking completely bored, as Lovebug spoke.

"Ugh, it's even too boring to try to start a fight with my rival" Lovebug Sektiss sighed, as Rainbow Dash wore the same face.

"Same, I wish the other's would also get back so that we can continue on our journey" Rainbow Dash sighed, as Echo had her back turned to them, as her eyes widened with horror. The two mare's were oblivious, as on the port side of the ship, a few Infected Sharklantean's were coming onboard letting out their low growl's.

"Um.....girl's" Echo said, as Lovebug was about to agree before both she, and Rainbow Dash heard the growling of the Infected Sharklantean's onboard, as both mare's stood up before speaking in unison.

"We're under attack by Infected Sharklantean's aren't we?" They both asked, as they heard one of the Infected Sharklantean's roar. Rainbow Dash pulled out her gun's, while Echo's katana's were already drawn, as Lovebug Sektiss accelerated high into the air, as all three of them began to fend of the Infected Sharklantean horde climbing onboard.

The door was kicked open, and all of them charged into many Infected Sharklantean's, fighting the huge horde that was in the way. Saphirus used his rocket firing mode on the metal fist's he wore, pushing the Sharklantean's back before magnetically attracting the metal gloves back to himself, as they pushed forward. Tigerclaw bashed his enemies back further, while also using his razor sharp, arm fin's to slice many of them in half, or use his bare fist's to beat them to death. Even with the help of the Sharklantean's with Tigerclaw there were still many Infected Sharklantean's that wanted to end their lives.

Saphirus had did his best to push forward, as the many Infected Sharklantean's were trying to overwhelm him, and Lotus. One attempted to chomp on his glove, but Saphirus managed to step back, before letting his metal glove drill into the Infected Sharklantean, as it's blood gushed from it's caved in head. Four more attempted to charge Saphirus at once, but he managed to use both skill, and speed to avoid their infected attack's. He jumped high into the air behind them, and bashed his fist's hard into two of the Infected Sharklantean's at once making blood spray everywhere.

He quickly took the other two on, breaking their arm's, and leg's before beating their faces into a bloody mush. The last one was about to charge in for another attack, but Saphirus delivered a roundhouse kick to the Sharklantean's face, and bashed it's brain's out with a single punch, as the dead Infected Sharklantean tipped over, and hit the ground. Lotus Moon raced forward, as she leaped off her coltfriend's shoulder's, and brought her staff down making their head's explode from the shear power of her attack. She twisted her body to land, and bashed three more Infected Sharklantean's head's open letting blood, and brain fluid spill everywhere.

Lotus Moon twirled her hip's for a better attack, as she slammed her staff into another Infected Sharklantean, killing it instantly.
All of them continued pushing forward with their attack's doing their best to slaughter the Sharklantean's, all of them being thankful that none of them were scratched, or bitten. They managed to break into Veun's quarter's which seem to have some very naughty poster's of herself on the ceiling, while also having a nice Queen sized bed, and a holder for her legendary Clan staff she once carried with her. "Search everywhere for clues....TIGERCLAW SEAL THE DOOR!!!!!!!!"

Creature shouted, as he barricaded the door shut, while also chopping off the arm's of the Infected Sharklantean's who were trying to be super grabby.

All of them began looking around, as they did their best to find some clues. "Wow.....this place has so much architecture to it for an oceanic predator species.....these material's would put Rarity's famous boutique to shame" Lotus Moon realized, as she, and Saphirus couldn't help, but eye certain areas that had many unknown thing's of the Sharklantean's culture. Creature finally came across what appeared to be an old set of scroll's, and map's which may have the information they needed. "I found something, it look's like Veun had jotted down the map to finding the other Clan's."

Creature told them, as he kept the map in hand. "That's good to know, but there's still some stuff that we need to find" Ripjaw spoke, as he continued looking around before coming across what appeared to be a rather fat book that Veun had written that had dated the entire history of the Predator Clan. "This must be our Clan's heritage that she wrote down for when she was assigned to guide the Predator Clan, but why did she not give it to you to escape when this place was becoming infected?" Ripjaw asked, as Creature kept the map before going to the book itself.

"She may have left it here, becasue she must have thought that someday I would come back here" Creature explained, as he let Ripjaw grab the book, and kept it with them. The door began banging getting the attention, as the metal door was getting many dent's in it.

"That's not going to hold much longer, what exactly do we do?" Lotus Moon asked, as she pulled out her staff again, while Saphirus got his bulky metal gloves on ready for action.

"It's simple......we fight our way out" Tigerclaw snarled, as he readied for action, as the Sharklantean's got into their signature fighting position. When the door's finally broke, they charged through the swarm of Infected Sharklantean's, as blood, dead Infected Sharklantean's, and even injured ones, flew everywhere. All of them pushed forward, mercilessly bashing, and gutting the Infected Sharklantean's so keen on spreading the plague. They ended up entering the same room, somehow being unscathed. Creature, Lotus Moon, Saphirus, and Ripjaw all continued to their destination.

They got to the current that brought them in, as Lotus Moon, and Saphirus made sure to get their scuba gear on before diving into the current which slingshot them all onto the boat. Even on the ship it was a huge battle, as Lovebug Sektiss fired her massive ray's of Changeling magic that knocked the Infected Sharklantean's off the ship. Rainbow Dash acrobatically jumped high into the air, using multiple angles to her advantage, as she unloaded many pistol round's into the Infected Sharklantean's. Echo herself was making short work of the Sharklantean's, as each one of her deadly slashes from her twin katana's cut them down into little bit's.

"CAPTAIN RAINBOW DASH......GET US OUT OF HERE!!!!!!!!!" Creature thundered, as Rainbow Dash panted, getting a glimpse at them, before burying a bullet in an Infected Sharklantean's brain, as it fell into the water.

"I'M A LITTLE BUSY AT THE MOMENT!!!!!!!!!" She shouted back, as she continued fighting off more of the horde. Tigerclaw used his instinct, as he ran behind the wheel, and quickly shifted the ship back on course, as everyone fell down onto the deck, while the Infected Sharklantean's themselves fell off the ship. Rainbow Dash took off running, as she managed to get Tigerclaw off the wheel, and pilot the ship, getting farther out to the Infected Ocean, and away from the former Predator Clan civilization.

"Did....the Book, the map.....are they ruined?" Lotus asked, still panting from all of those attack's from their enemies. Creature looked down at the map, and book that he, and Ripjaw carried, finding them to be completely fine, as Saphirus looked at it surprised.

"B-But.....how, you didn't really protect it when we were in the water, how are both of these not ruined?" Saphirus asked, as both Sharklantean's stared at the book, and scroll seeing a blue magical glow surrounding it.

"A water protection spell.....clever, let's get our new guest's, and everyone else settled in so that we can make our next move" Creature explained, as he journeyed down to the lab with Saphirus, as Lotus Moon, and Lovebug Sektiss followed close behind them, wanting to know what information they found.
