Creature: Dark Apakolypse

The thick, and heavy fog began to spread over the place, as the S.S. Venture continued on. The water's of the ocean were very calm, and quiet, adding a sense of uneasiness to the whole adventure. Lotus Moon hated to admit it, but she was starting to re-think if going on this adventure was a good idea. Creature stared at the massive open water's, as the presence of the ship's that were destroyed for the colonist's of the Oceanic Colonies to come to the Equestria continent. The entire place was practically an oceanic graveyard, signaling how much, and how badly these ponies, and other species were desperate to get away from the infection that plagued the ocean.

"Dead......Men......Tell.......No.......Tales......" Zecora sqwauked in, an eerie voice that freaked Lotus Moon out, as she was unaware that Zecora had come above deck.

"AAAAAHHHHH, Sheesh.....you scared me miss Zecora" Lotus Moon panted, as Zecora gave her a friendly look, as she smiled before speaking.

"Be silent my child, the voices of the sea are mild.....on this beautiful ocean do not dread, for it is here there are no tales from the dead" Zecora spoke to her, as Lotus Moon gave her, an odd look before turning back to look at the huge creepy fog. Zecora had gone back below deck, but it had almost acted like she vanished in thin air. Lotus Moon shivered, until she heard Creature speak.

"So many colonies ran from the infection, seeking shelter for the mainland....even though the ship's are destroyed.....it only add's to the creepy vibe." Creature told her, as Lotus Moon looked back, unable to see the Equestrian dock's that they departed from.

"I'm starting to think that this was a bad idea" Lotus Moon told herself before a huge rumble shook the entire ship, as it stopped. "Um.....Creature, what was that?" Lotus Moon asked, before the ship shook, and rumbled again. Many groan's were heard, as a huge part of the sea around them began to glow a dark purple. "W-WHAT'S HAPPPENING.....ARE WE BEING ATTACKED BY A SEA MONSTER!?!?!?!?!?!?!?" Lotus shouted, as Creature shook his head.

"Worse......EVERYONE GET YOUR WEAPON'S OUT, AND PREPARE TO FIGHT......WE'VE GOT INFECTED ONBOARD!!!!!!!!!!" Creature shouted, as he got in a battle stance. Rainbow Dash came out of the cabin with two pistol's just for her, as Saphirus also came out with his huge metal gloves on. Lovebug Sektiss also came onto the deck with her Changeling magic ready. After more rumbling's, the claw of a Sharklantean was seen, as an Infected Sharklantean crawled onto the deck, and roared. Creature snarled, while the other's looked at it terrified. The creatures eyes were almost complete black, with the smallest glowing red pupil's, as the eye's themselves were bleeding.

There were many huge patches of human like skin with holes that oozed blood, and wiggled, and squirmed like it was a sac of slimy bug egg's that with each throb, pumped out more blood. What used to be the bottom half of the Sharklantean's jaw was a bloody, gory mess of blood that replaced it's bottom jaw. It's teeth, and claw's were blood red, sharp, and long with an intent to kill. It's maw had even been split wider than it should have been, only making the jaw more gory.

"WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT THING!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?" Lovebug shouted, as Creature replied.

"That is one of the fully Infected Sharklantean's from the virus that I told you about" Creature answered, as Lotus Moon cringed, looking at it's fucked up jaw.

"Ewwwww.....that is so gross.....I wanna stop looking at it before I hurl" Lotus Moon cringed, doing her best not to throw up. Many more of these Infected Sharklantean's began to crawl up the east side of the ship, as Creature spoke.

"WHATEVER YOU DO......DON'T LET THEM TOUCH, OR BITE YOU.....Or they'll pass their infection to you" Creature warned, as all of them got in a fighting stance. The huge beast's roared, as they all charged at them with impeccable speed. Lotus Moon engaged a few, as she was flexible enough to acrobatically avoid each of the Sharklantean's infectious touch. She wielded her staff well, as she bashed one of the Sharklantean's head open's, as blood erupted from it's caved in skull. Another Infected Sharklantean charged at her, as she used her magic to teleport before appearing behind him, and violently beating them with her metal bo-staff.

Lotus Moon was almost grossed out of just how much bloody, and messy they were when they were killed. Two more tried to charge at Lotus from behind before she slammed the staff into the ground, and twirled herself around, kicking the two Infected Sharklantean's into a group of them that were trying to climb aboard, as all of them were hit, and toppled back into the infected water's. Saphirus had tightened his gloves, as with each powerful punch he threw, he beat the number of infection's to a bloody pulp, as his gloves were drenched in Infected Sharklantean blood.

Lovebug Sektiss used height, and her altitude of magic to take down, as much of these creatures back. She ended up having to rethink her strategy, as the Zombie like Sharklantean's began to form a ladder of zombies, allowing them to get up to her, to try to infect her. Lovebug used a power, magic slam from the air to knock a huge number off the deck, and back into the Infected water's below. Rainbow Dash was using her pistol's to annihilate her enemies. Many tried to surround her before she acrobatically leaped backward, and in mid-flip managed to gun down her enemies. Seeing more approaching, Rainbow Dash slid on her butt, as she gunned down more of the infection's.

Rainbow Dash, used her speed to quickly gun down, as many, as she could to stop them from climbing on board. Echo had run up deck, from guarding the scientist's below, as she pulled out two broadsword's. Echo ran at them full sprint before stretching her bat wing's, and immiedietly hit a mile high altitude, before coming down with very efficient speed. Echo's sword's began to glow, as she sliced the infection's into many different pieces, as blood spewed everywhere. Echo continued engaging them with her own attack's, and speed against another pair of infection's that turned their attention to her.

Creature hated being restrictive, but it was all he could ever do. Since these were infection's, he couldn't bite down, and rip the flesh from bone.....all he had was strength, stealth, and his claw's. Many of the infection's approached him, as he used skill, and accuracy to dodge every attack that they tried on him. He managed to get a blind spot open, as his claw's slashed one of the infection's in half, as massive blood sprayed everywhere. Another infection charged at him, but he delivered a powerful roundhouse kick, knocking it, and more upcoming infection's overboard.

More, and more of these infection's continued pouring from the ocean itself, as all of them managed to battle every single infection to their fullest extent, the battle constantly continuing, until for a short while, it stopped. "PORT SIDE, PORT SIDE.....THEY ARE COMING UP THE PORT SIDE!!!!!!!!" Lovebug Sektiss screamed, as more of the Infection's had not only climbed aboard, but had also passed the infection to two Wonderbolt's with a single bite. Rainbow Dash used both pistol's, to kill the infection's that were on board before killing the infected two pegasi.

Everyone else re-grouped with Rainbow Dash, as they charged full speed ahead, slicing each one of their enemies. Rainbow Dash, slid in as she gunned down infection, after infection. Echo joined, as she charged at an Infected Sharklantean, and sliced it's arm off before, slicing it's head off, and it's body in half, massive blood spewing everywhere. Lotus Moon let out an offensive growl, as she approached one Infected Sharklantean, and propelled herself forward of the ground, and impaled her staff in it's zombified eye, as it roared in pain. Creature charged, and headbutted more of the infectione off the boat, as he made sure to deal damage.

Saphirus charged, and beat more Sharklantean's to a huge pulp with massive blood staining the deck. Lovebug continued firing her magic, to vaporize, and kill as many of these creatures as she could, doing her best to use Changeling magic. With many massive fighting, and with it becoming a huge bloodbath the Infection's slowly began to retreat as all of them panted, out of breath. "They.... they withdrew?" Lotus Moon asked, panting out of breath with the other's.

"For now.....yes, but we still need to grab us a specimen, so that Zecora, and Saphirus can get to work on a cure" Creature explained, as Rainbow Dash managed to spot a specimen still left from the aftermath of the battle.

"I've got it, I'm going to grab the one that is still twitching." Rainbow Dash said to them, as she grabbed one that had only one leg, and was thrashing violently, unhappy. Rainbow Dash ignored it's thrashing, and took it to be examined, and if possible dissected.

"Interesting, the specimen you have all brought me, has proven that this virus, is something that hasn't been seen" Zecora said, as the massive support's on the dissection table contained the Infected Sharklantean from breaking out.

"Do you really think that you can make a cure for this virus?" Lotus Moon asked, as Zecora studied the specimen with extreme interest before speaking.

"To create a cure for this virus in the ocean is not impossible, but can't be done in a few night's, we are going to need....a lot of time" Zecora stated, as Lovebug Sektiss groaned, as she spoke.

"Well that's just FUCKING PERFECT.....WHAT DO WE DO, UNTIL THE CURE IS CREATED!?!?!?!?!?!?!?" Lovebug shouted, as Creature began thinking for a while, before an idea came to mind.

"We search for other survivor's, their could be other Sharklantean species that have not been Infected like me, and have found a way to stay away from this infection. Not only this, but we also need to find the three civilization's for the other clan's" Creature explained, as this piqued Saphirus's interest, as he turned to Creature with a rather geeky expression on his face.

"C-C-CLAN'S!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?" Saphirus asked, as Creature nodded, and spoke.

"There are so many Sharklantean species that all of them occupy Equestria's seas that they are divided into clan's. My Clan is the Predator Clan, which operates as Warriors through the night, being silent, stealthy, and powerful. The other clan's are the Elemental Clan, The Dark Clan, and the Ancient Clan.....but all of them may be Infected, and we need to find this among the list too" Creature explained, as Saphirus had written down these guides to make a future book, while Lotus Moon formed of a plan.

"Maybe we should search for where these other Clan's live, and go there to find any Sharklantean survivor's" Lotus Moon told them, as Lovebug Sektiss let out a deep sigh.

"There's no turning back from this, and it's a fight for survival......" Lovebug Sektiss spoke, as she looked out one of the glass submarine window's, staring through the deadly, infected water's. "......I have feeling thing's will get worse, before they can even get better" Lovebug Sektiss told them, as the boat itself continued sailing through the thick, and heavy fog.
