//-------------------------------------------------------// Parents In Peril -by Autumnblazelover61- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Peril //-------------------------------------------------------// Peril Four tiring, agonizingly long days had passed on the giant tropical island. The sun hung over the tall, looming palm trees like a giant lamp as another hot afternoon passed by, slowly baking the four mares that had been sitting on the beach alive. They had been stranded on that crazy island for almost a full week, but in their minds, and hungry rumbling tummies, it felt like an eternity. Cookie Crumbles, Stellar Flare, Clear Sky, and Stormy Flare couldn’t remember how they had ended up on the deserted floating oasis in the first place- they just seemed to have woken up there! But no matter the case, they’d been there for a few days, and they were all starving! Stellar Flare let out a groan as she moved a white-tipped hoof to rub the bloated, growling flesh of her dark orange belly. Beneath the rolling flesh of her stomach, her impatient organs shifted and groaned, upset by a week-long absence of food to digest. "Oh, don’t worry, my poor little tummy wummy. Mommy will definitely feed you by the end of the week. And I’ve already planned out EXACTLY what I want to eat when the time comes! I’ll make you happy." Stellar whispered down at her miserable dropping gut sadly, and then glanced up angrily at the two unicorns and one Pegasi sitting across from her. "Now everypony take a good long look at my stomach. It’s very empty and VERY rumbling, as you can hear. So while I plan out all the different ways we can get our pretty little butts off this hellish island, I don’t want to hear any more complaints about somepony thinking they’re hungrier than I am." She leaned back and patted her fat belly for emphasis. "Hungrier?" Stormy Flare, the yellow Pegasus sitting across from her, sporting a purple jacket with orange flaming hair, scoffed and pressed her hooves into the soft, pudding-like flesh of her yellow grumbling tummy. "Pfft, as if! I bet you if my stomach could talk right now, it would go on and on and on about how it’s starving, dying, wilting away from the hunger, like me. It’s as loud and echo-y as my daughter Spitfire, when she’s flying through the air with her friends like a jet. I hope she’s looking for me right now. I know she and the other Wonderbolts would find us in an instant and bring us food!" Her belly roared with the intensity of a bear, proving her point. "Yes, yes, I know. That sounds nice, doesn’t it tummy?" She giggled, but it quickly faltered as she massaged her plump, aching gut and wished she had a nice home-cooked meal to chow down on right then and there to fill the space in her empty shriveled gut. Clear Sky, the brightly pink unicorn with the wavy hair and blue scarf, rolled a single hoof over her large-looking, yet starved gut in slow circles. It responded with loud whines and growls that sent ripples over the surface of her belly. Clear patted her stomach gently as it growled and fussed, but she paid no attention to the other's arguing. All she could think about was her poor daughter, Wind Sprint. "She’s probably all alone right now. Feeling as hungry as I am. I just want to be with her-oof!" Her belly lurched inside her and gurgled noisily. She gave it an angry glare and patted it twice. "Though I really doubt if that’s even possible. Oh, but I wonder if she’s even eaten since I woke up here. It feels like it’s been a whole YEAR since then. I’m so hungry." Her eyes started to water. A single tear fell from one and landed on her round wrinkling tummy, sliding down it's quivering skin until she wiped it away and sniffled. Cookie Crumbles, who sat adjacent to her, rubbed her enormous purple belly with both hooves. She easily had the biggest stomach on the island, but despite it's bloated appearance it was just as hollow and hurting as the others. She also felt it was the hungriest, but didn’t say so. Still, It rumbled and snarled ferociously as she patted her hungry gut with one hoof, putting the other on Clear's shoulder reassuringly. "Oh, now, don’t you worry, Sky, dearie. I’m sure you’re daughter is still as fresh as a daisy and looking for you right now! She won’t stop and rest until she’s found you, don't cha know?" For some reason, this didn’t ease the unicorn's worry, let alone the wailing of her hungry belly. She wrapped her hooves around her corpulent stomach and rocked back and forth, hoping the movement would help soothe the storm of growls and rumbles within her tummy, but all it did was slosh around her stomach acids, which hurt, and make her stomach ache even more as it growled wildly. "Please..." She pleaded to nopony in particular, her eyes closed shut. "I just want to eat." Stormy Flare's belly made a loud sound like air being let out of a balloon, and it’s owner followed suit as she caressed her swollen growling gut. "This isn’t fair! We’ve been here on this dumb island for, like, FOUR days now! Somepony should have found us by now! My tummy needs food! I need food! My insides are practically screaming, I can feel them in there gargling my stomach acid. It hurts. It’s making me oh so weak. I just want to be rescued? because I’m very empty right now." She rubbed her belly all over, dragging one tired hoof over the shifting grumbling flesh after the other. Her hooves sunk in to the flabby skin, which flapped around with her hoof movements, showing just how much her gut was collapsing. She poked it a few times and gestured to it. "You all don’t understand! My belly is like a water bottle that my daughter Spitfire just drank, all shriveled up and empty, dried up and needing more to fill it before it fully collapses and I’m gone! It’s so horrible." "Horrible?" Stellar Flare chuckled, lightly shaking her head as she looked down and squeezed her big fat belly with both hooves. Deep growls ebbed out between her digits, shaking the stretch of her brown balloon-sized stomach. "No offense, Stormy Flare-I handle that last name WAY better, by the way- but my precious, starving belly is far worse off than YOURS!" She raised herself up and stroked her quivering, flabby gut where the others could see. "Just look at how plump and sagging it’s gotten from all this hunger and emptiness. It’s big and round like a fat blimp, but instead of helium, it’s just air and grumbles. And lots of it." Her belly kept rumbling and quivering and she stroked it methodically and took her seat again, sighing. "If only my son Sunburst knew where I was. Then he could come to my rescue and bring me some food. Good thing I've had plenty of time to plan out EXACTLY what I want to eat, as I do for every meal." Cookie Crumbles narrowed her blue eyes at Stellar. "You think YOU'RE hungry right now? Oh ho ho, no. Cupcake, your belly doesn’t look half as bad as mine, don’t cha know?" She tried to get up and show everypony her flabby gut just like Stellar had, but she was so tired and hurting she simply couldn’t. "See? It looks I just filled it up with a big plate full of yummy chicken, but it's actually really empty and starving. It’s whining, like my daughters Rarity and Sweetie Belle when they don’t get what they want, like how my tummy wants food right now but it can’t have any. And the feeling, oh! It feels like my tummy is a washing machine, shaking and vibrating and gargling when I put my hooves on it, but instead of clothes it’s my stomach acids sloshing around, don’t cha know? And it sounds like a wild angry lion, like the ones my husband and I saw on our safari. Just listen to it purring and roaring down there!" She patted both hooves on her large thundering gut and jiggled it around, making it whine even louder. "So now I'M the hungriest, you see..." Hearing the three mare's argue about the hunger and pains they were feeling, and about their children that they had to get back to made Clear Sky, who had crawled off to the side and was now silently stroking her growling stomach with her hooves, decide to try and add her own thoughts to the circle. Plus, when she looked up from her loud pitiful belly, she found that they were looking at her to say something anyways. "Oh, oh dear. I just don’t know what I’m worried about more: how my fat, hungry stomach is growling and hurting me, or what my Wind Sprint is doing right now. She’s probably worried sick." She rubbed her rumbling stomach and looked up at the setting sun. "I’m supposed to be at home right now, making dinner for her..." She closed her eyes and licked her lips slowly, rubbing her belly with a hoof at the same time as the mention of dinner seemed to make her gut feel even emptier. "My delicious, delicious dinners..." Her thoughts of hunger suddenly turned into sadness very sporadically. "Oh! I just hope she’s okay. I’m so hungry as it is, and if I don’t get home in time to feed her..." She started crying from out of nowhere as she imagined the worst, tears streaming down her cheeks and falling onto her balloon-sized gurgling stomach, making it seem as if her poor belly was crying as well. The other three gave her brief sympathetic glances before returning to their arguing over who was the hungriest and flabbiest. All four big plump bellies rumbled along with their owners as they were rubbed and stroked, like they were having some sort of growling contest as well. Eventually, all four of them grew too tired to argue and just sat around silently massaging their hollow, empty tummies, the sounds of their angry organs growing louder and louder by the minute. Soon, after what felt like another year, the sun completely set over the trees behind them, making the sky dark and reliving them from the heat. Not that they even noticed, because by now they had even grew tired of rubbing their starved tummies, and they soon just collapsed back on the sand, hooves wrapped around their bloated bellies as they all quickly drifted off to sleep. Stormy Flare dreamt that she was sitting alone in the audience, all by herself, at her daughters Wonderbolts show. She couldn’t remember them having a performance today, and this one was a little strange. As Spitfire and the other Wonderbolts zoomed through the sky, they made visions of giant tasty foods made of clouds in the sky. As Stormy gazed at the visions as they faded away, she suddenly began to feel extremely hungry. Her belly soon started to growl extremely loudly, and she patted it and looked around for a food cart. She soon located it, all the way at the bottom of the seats without a pony manning it, which seemed a little strange, but Stormy didn’t care. She just wanted food. But when she walked all the way down the steps and reached for a free treat from the cart, as if by magic, the cart suddenly disappeared right before her eyes, and reappeared all the way at the top! "What in Equestria?" Stormy grunted. Her stomach rumbled louder than it had before, and she rubbed it and trotted back up to the cart, too tired to use her wings. But again, it disappeared just as she reached it. "Huh?" She continued prancing back and forth, trying to catch the cart, but it just kept escaping her grasp, and she felt hungrier and hungrier, and the volume of her belly's growls grew louder as she clutched it. Eventually, she heard laughter, and turned to find the Wonderbolts, even Spitfire, observing her from the air and laughing and pointing at the poor starving Pegasus. "Oh, please!" She fell to her knees and began begging the cart. "Please! I just want food!" In the OTHER Flare's dream, Stellar found herself standing in darkness, illuminated by a single spotlight. She stood on her hind legs and observed her new, perfectly slim stomach. She smiled and rubbed it with one hoof. "That’s what I’m talking about! Perfectly slender and quiet, just how I like it!" Suddenly, her belly started to gurgle and growl unnaturally, and she frowned and put her hooves on her hips and leered at it. "Honestly, stomach, after you just got all fat and grumpy back on the island, you’re still hungry? You should have let me know, I could have planned for that!" Then, her orange belly did something strange. It started to inflate, like a balloon. Slowly, her stomach expanded outward, becoming rounder and softer as she put her chubby hooves on it. It kept growing, becoming as large as a bookshelf, and its grumbles turned into full-blown earthquakes. Stellar began rubbing it’s sides and begging it to stop. "Ugh, now what are you doing? Please stop growing, my beautiful stomach. You’re getting even noisier now!" "Mom! Is that you?" A voice called out in the darkness, somewhere on the other side of her slowly growling gut. Stellar recognized the voice instantly. "Sunburst?" "Mom, I’m over here!" Her son called out again. "I heard you were stuck somewhere, so I brought food!" "FOOD?!" Stellar cried out in excitement. Her house-sized belly followed suit and roared as loud as a blue whale. She eagerly rubbed it and licked her lips, feeling her mouth overflowing with saliva. "Okay, okay, yes, where are you? I really need to eat!" "Uh, I’m over here!" Sunburst said nervously. "On the other side of, uh... all that." "All what?" Stellar asked, before she noticed her swollen gut, blowing up and covering her entire vision and screaming for food so badly she could barely even hear Sunburst. "Oh, right." She tried to walk over on her hind legs to find Sunburst, but no matter where she went, her big belly kept expanding and blocked her view, and it grew louder and rumblier by the minute. She tried to pat down it’s bubbling sides and squeezing it to try and get a better view, but it was no use. Her hungry gut kept inflating until it was as big as a house and as loud as a whirling tornado. "No! No!" "Eh, it’s fine." She heard Sunburst say with an annoyed sigh, and then the sound of him rolling away a cart. "Maybe I’ll just share all this food with Starlight." Soon he was gone. "No, no! Sunburst! Wait! Wait!" Stellar cried as she patted and slapped her ginormous belly like a balloon, as it grew too big and completely covered her face, now growling with a hunger so loud she couldn’t even hear her own screams. Clear Sky had a bit of a simpler dream, but it still had the same food-related torturing themes. She opened her eyes and found that she was seated at the dinner table, across from Wind Sprint. The food was covered in lots of their favourite tasty foods, candy, and other treats. Sky let out a sigh of relief and patted her starving, growling belly. "Finally, I can eat! Come on Wind, let’s dig in!" Her daughter was way ahead of her, reaching out and plucking treat after treat from the plays and eating them quickly. "Yum! This is really good, mom!" She said, happily rubbing her stomach. "Okay, okay, but leave some for me, sweetheart, I’m starving over here!" Sky stroked her aching stomach with one hoof and reached out for a chocolate bar with the other, but Wind quickly snatched it up and ate it before her eyes, almost as if she didn’t care about her mother going hungry. Sky's belly cried out in agony with her, and her eyes welled up with tears as she laid back in her chair and sadly watched her daughter devour the entire table, until she was full and satisfied, while the older pink unicorn watched on in misery, sadly rubbing the sagging flesh of her poor stomach, denied of what could have been her final chance of a meal. Finally, Cookie Crumbles dreamt she was standing in Rarity’s house in Ponyville. The first thing to meet her ears was the sound of her round belly, growling ravenously as usual. She stroked it and looked around in confusion for a brief moment before Rarity and Sweetie Belle suddenly entered the room. "Oh, girls! Thank Celestia!" Cookie clapped her hooves on her purple gut and licked her chops. "I’ve been waiting forever, don’t you know? Let’s go get some breakfast!" She started for the kitchen, but Rarity stopped her. "Oh, no, darling! You can’t possibly go out with me looking like THAT!" She extended a hoof and poked her mother’s soft belly. "You’ve had a long day. I think first you do a little exercise!" She gestured to a nearby treadmill that seemed to appear out of nowhere. "Oh, goodness, um... alright then, dearie." Cookie reluctantly stepped onto the treadmill, and it soon turned on. It moved slowly at first, so she moved with it, feeling her pudgy stomach start to ache as she moved. After a few minutes, she glanced at the clock, seeing that ten whole minutes had passed. "Um, Rarity, maybe I should stop now? My tummy has worked up quite an appetite and it could use a snack." She glanced at the girls, who were eating large slices of vanilla cake. The sights of the sweet treats made her mouth water and her stomach roar. But Rarity wasn’t feeling very generous. "Ah ah ah. You must keep running, darling. It’s good for you." "Yeah, your stomach can rumble all it wants, but it could use the exercise." Sweetie Belle said in a rather mean tone. Then, as if by magic, the treadmill magically sped up, moving even faster now. So Cookie kept on running, quickening her pace. As she ran, she grew even hungrier. Her belly started to groan and gargle more violently, and it began swaying back and forth with each step she took. She had to lift a hoof to hush her impolitely loud stomach, beginning to feel like she was about to pass out, and she cried for her onlooking daughters to turn off the machine, but the whirring of the treadmill along with her growling stomach made her voice nearly impossible to hear as she continued to run with no food ever brought to her. These torturous food dreams continued until all four mares were finally woken up, their starved bodies still strewn around on the beach, to the familiar sounds of their groaning bellies, which were now completely collapsed from the hunger and all sagged onto the sand like empty, deflated balloons. They all groaned and returned to the ritualistic movements of moving their hooves over their empty, engorged stomachs, each moving their's around in their own ways. "I can’t take this anymore! Forget the planning! My tummy just wants food!" Stellar wailed with her stomach as she rolled her hooves over her gurgling gut. By now her hair was frazzled and her stomach was growling so loud that her ears were twitching in annoyance. "I just dreamt that my son brought me food, but my stomach grew so big and loud I couldn’t even see him. What monster could be doing this to us?" "I dreamt my daughter Wind Sprint was eating food right in front of me! I was so hungry, like I am right now, and she wouldn’t even share!" Clear Sky whined and held her growling center in obvious pain, looking down at the wrinkly, bubbling skin of her belly in horror. "She wouldn’t even share..." "The food was right there..." Stormy Flare rubbed a hoof over her thundering gut and reached out into empty space with the other. "It was in that cart, just out of my reach, but it kept disappearing when I tried to touch it!" She closed her eyes and sighed, putting her other hoof back on her bulbous belly. "My daughter was there... even Spitfire was laughing at me..." "I just couldn’t believe Rarity. She knew I was starvin' to death, and she made me ride a treadmill before I could eat! It was so insane, my tummy almost turned into a fat blob of loose skin and hunger!" Cookie Crumbles moaned and crossed her hooves over her flabby squelching gut. At this point, all four fat, shriveled bellies on the island were starting to make much more disturbing, almost animal-like sounds, signalling that the end was near for the poor mares. By now they could feel stomach acids in their throats and they could barely move, the hunger seemingly having paralyzed everything below their circling hooves. But then, something miraculous happened! Right when they all started to feel unconsciousness creeping up on them, a loud whirring sound in the distance suddenly snapped them awake. They all looked up into the sky to see a small plane flying down towards the island. "It’s a rescue plane!" Stellar sat up and clapped her hooves together excitedly. "We’re saved!" The four mares let out relived sighs and exhausted cheers as the plane, painted grey and red, landed on the water right in front of the island, with its engine roaring almost as loud as their bulbous, wilting stomach's. A door on the side of the plane opened, and a staircase then stretched out and came to a stop on the sand.. Finding energy they didn’t think they had, the four mares seemed to be boosted by the prospect of being rescued. They fell onto their large swollen bellies and began helplessly crawling towards the stairs like zombies. Just as they reached it, a skinny yellow stallion dressed in an official looking outfit exited the plane and stepped down the stairs to greet the hungry ponies with a smile. "Oh, good! You’re all still alright!" He said. "My crew and I have been looking everywhere for you!" He laughed. "You’ve all been reported missing for quite some time now!" "What, and that’s FUNNY?" Stellar said angrily. She pushed out her big inflated belly and shook her growling stomach around viscously. "We’ve been starving here for almost a week! Our tummies are starving!" She patted her belly and it responded with deep growls of hunger, that shook her tummy in her grasp. "Please, you have to take us home so we can eat! Listen to how starved we are!" "My daughter! Is Wind Sprint okay?" Clear Sky tried to make her quivering voice be heard over the low moans of her deflated belly. She caressed her sore stomach tenderly, hoping she would soon be able to feed it. "I need to know if she’s okay. And then I REALLY need to eat! My belly has really been through a lot this past week!" "The hunger... all this pain has been unbearable on my poor fat tummy, don’t you know?" Cookie Crumbles said, lifting her hooves and placing them on her bloated stomach. "It’s gurglin and growling like a truck trying to start up. Can’t you hear it?" The stallion chuckled and stepped off to the side. "Yes, I can certainly hear your tummies down there. Now please, kindly step into my plane and my men and I will bring you to a big feast we’ve prepared!" At the mention of the word "feast" everypony’s eyes lit up and they climbed onto their shaky hooves and slowly staggered up the staircase. As they passed the stallion to enter the plane, he got up-close glances of their perfect plump stomach’s, expanded past their normal bounds and full of nothing but air, and each one rumbling louder than the last. Soon, the four hungry ponies had taken their seats in the back of the plane, eagerly anticipating their meals. "You all just sit tight. You’ll have food in no time." The stallion assured them, who was apparently the captain. He then left the room to go start up the plane. Relieved that she was finally safe, Clear Sky strapped herself into her seat. Her hungry belly gurgled as it's inflated surface pooled through the seatbelt she had strapped over it. She smiled and put a hoof on her stomach, looking out the window as the plane started to take off. "It’s okay, my large, hungry tummy. You’re finally going to be fed."
