A Skeleton with Nothing to Lose

Cross would slowly walk down the muddy road, he would look where he came from, a forest, a very dark forest, and looking at the village, he would see how colorful it was, it was almost ironic, he kept walking, and he would look at the entrance, a sign, "Ponyville", he chuckled low to himself, obviously, what should he expect from a happy horse village?
He would think while entering the city, he obviously drew attention, in a city where everything and everyone is colorful, a black and white hooded figure with accessories of the same color would be very striking, but something that surprised him was that immediately after they hit his eyes on him, everyone went into what looked like a trance, he stood there, looking around, everyone was staring at him, all the noise had stopped, it was a little creepy he thought, and suddenly, a Mare, (What he could recognize that it was a woman) screamed in fear and ran away, everyone followed the example, screaming in despair and locking themselves in their houses, taking their children and hiding, smart in their part, this was going to make his job a little harder.

Twillight was in her friendship castle doing her normal routine, reading and studying aspects of friendship, after a trip to the kingdom of the Changelings and learning their culture, she had given many books teaching Changelings about friendship, while in return, king Thorax gave her several books telling about the ancient Changeling history and culture, it was fascinating, she read one after the other, learning all the leaders who passed through their hive and their accomplishments, and also seeing many mistakes and lessons passed on to their minors on how to steal love, she knew it was part of them in stealing love, but seeing how their culture progressed to the level they reached when invading her brother’s wedding was amazing! she could continue her reading if it weren't for screaming outside her house, she immediately closed her book and ran to the door, only to receive the Elements of Harmony desperately entering inside and slamming the door shut, locking it and sliding in the door back to back, all sighing with relief.

"Girls? what is happening?"

They all looked at Twillight and all smiled and jumped over her, all group hugging her, she was surprised by the sudden action, but hugged them all back.

"Twillight! Darling its so much good to see you fine!"

Fashionista said, with Rainbow nooding agreeing as they left the group hug

"Yes! We were worried you stayed outside!"

Twilight turned her head, raising a confused eyebrow.

"What? why?"

Fluttershy hid behind her mane looking scared while looking at her.

"A Monster have come to Ponyville!"

Twilight's eyes widened at the revelation

"A monster in Ponyville?!"

Applejack scratched the back of her neck in an embarrassed way

"Well.... it looked like a monster...."

Twillight's face calmed down and she showed a mocking smile

Rainbow Dash, then took Twillight's hand and dragged it to the window and pointed to a figure on the street, Twillight looked closely, the street was completely deserted, the houses had their doors and windows fully closed, for a village as busy as Ponyville being like this was very rare, but when she noticed the lonely figure walking between the streets she could only be more nervous, the figure was totally covered by clothes with black and white accessories, her huge scarf around him thrown back formed almost a cover effect, but that wasn’t what scared him most, nor was his face covered up to his hooded nose, no, what scared him was the huge knife gently resting on his shoulder, he was in a relaxed pose, with his other hand on pocket, even so, the aura he gave off was startling, Twillight slowly looked at the other elements of the harmony.

"Ok.... He is a bit scary...."

Everyone flinched a little with the loud cry of their quietest friend and immediately ceased their arguments, seeing that she screamed, Fluttershy hid behind her mane and returned to her shy state with a low "Sorry" before turning and pointing at the window, they all huddled together to see and were in shock when the knife figure stabbed the boy.

The world seemed to stop, and everything seemed to be silent, as the figure impaled the boy with his huge knife, they could clearly see the parents at the door looking at the scene with expressions of shock and horror.

"CAKE!! NO!!"

The hooded figure would look at the screams, it was Mare who clearly his mother, the figure did something that horrified Mane Six.
He chuckled....
No... He started to burst out in laughter at the scene, before return the gaze to them, they could see only the eyes of the figure, those scarlet red eyes piercing the souls of the parents of the little colt.

"Y-you Monster! How could you?? HOW COULD YOU???"

The figure with a quick movement, removed the knife from the colt, ignoring the desperate parents, however ...

Then Colt slowly turned towards them, his skin had become completely pale, his face had a huge red X in it, and his facial expression was nonexistent.

The figure would say rubbing his hands on the shoulder of the completely paralyzed colt, his white big smile being completely visible under the hood and making the couple terrified.

And when he said that he slowly stopped scratching the colt's shoulder, and snapped his fingers, and with that, red transparent knives appeared on top of him, all pointed at the couple, and pointing the finger he snapped at the couple, the knives flew towards them, with both hugging and screaming in horror.

A massacre, it was the only thing that could be described, Fluttershy looked at the entrance to Ponyville in flames, panic screams, explosions and death, she had never seen anything so horrifying as that, the great center of the city, which before was a symbol of beauty, pride and peace for the Pony's, it could only be described now as ashes, there was nothing left, she was paralyzed with fear, she looked in the streets, the cadavers thrown were numerous, Stallions, Mares and Colts, none were spared, who could do such an atrocity? not even the Crystal Empire tyrant king Sombra did anything as close as that.

Then she saw, a Stallion desperately crawling, a severed leg, leaving a trail of blood, she just looked horrified, he had tears streaming from his face mixed with dirt while behind him a figure she could say came from the darkest pit, the figure was completely covered in white and black clothes, wearing a hood and cape that covered part of his face, what was left that could be visible where his scarlet red left eye and shinning purple right eye, he walked slowly behind the Stallion, who suffered to find the strength to try to escape from the creature that followed him so calmly even in such a horrifying situation, he then with a sudden kick, threw the Stallion rolling and falling on his stomach grunting in pain.

"Disgusting"

He would say as he stopped in front of the Stallion that he put his hand on his belly, while blood dripped from his mouth, he looked at the face of his figure, fear, it was the only thing the poor man was feeling at that moment.

"W-w-what a-a-are y-y-you....?"

The Stallion would ask while spitting blood on himself, the hooded figure would just stand there, looking at him, he would then raise his huge knife, and say a sentence that would be stuck in Fluttershy's head for the rest of her life.

"I AM THE X-EVENT"

And then the knife would go down hard on his victim's head, cutting his head in half, his face paralyzed with fear, with a tear stopping in the middle of his descent, the figure would then place a foot on the victim's shoulder, and the would throw it on the floor, using the momentum to remove his knife stuck in the poor young man's skull, he would then slowly look to the side, where Fluttershy hid, his eyes shining in the bloody night, as if penetrating deep into poor Pegasus' soul, she then , flew, she flew as fast as she can, took off from her hiding place and flew anywhere, she didn't care where, she just wanted to get away from him.

He would look at the yellow pegasus flying away, he would shrug, it’s just one, it wouldn’t make a difference, he would look at the street putting his knife to rest on his shoulder, he would look at his work done, he could still hear the screams of despair and pain, a lot of pain, he had modified the code of some of these Pony's and made them attack each other, brother killed brother, father killed child and son killed mother, if that doesn't cause many negative feelings he doesn't know what it would cause, if there is any monarch in this place, he would probably hunt him after that, but he didn't care, these 'zombies' would distract and draw a lot of attention, he would slowly walk to another path leading out of the village and in the same direction from where the pegasus went, he smiled while walked away from the ruined village, that must have changed everything, these 'pets' will learn what the real world is like, and as they don't deserve the good life they have, they won't escape Cross.
