Chapter 1 Meeting a Princess

Ami blinked a bit, finally they made it to the ruins. She had heard from a local that there once was a queen who was a horse there. Something happened, something that made everyone there vanished in thin air one day and no one ever went back. It had fallen in to ruin then with the weather and with no one to keep it in decent condition.

The purple anthropomorphic feline had dusted off her jeans from the dirt and had fluffed her pink angel wings. She was sure to dust off her t-shirt as well and sighed, letting her long brown hair out of it's pony tail finally. She had played with the bright blue strand of hair in front of her right eye. Her older twin wolf brothers had followed up after her.

Kaito, of different reds with a mohawk had groaned unhappily, not much wanting to go on this adventure. His red wings had been fluffed in agitation ever sence Ami made it clear they had to climb the mountain. He wanted to fly up, but she said they all needed to keep up their physical strength.

A wolf of multiple blues had come up after Kaito, this was Sano, the other and slightly older twin. Sano hadn't minded the climb but only made sure Kaito kept going instead of just flying up. His blue wings stretched out as he stretched his arms with a yawn.

Ami had started to search through the rubble for anything. She had found a leather bound book of white with a unicorn of silver on the front with other silver trimmings. She had opened up the book and found many things on ponies.

The brothers had found themselves a place that looked like it was a large room at one time and decided to have a wrestling match. Sano had just waited across the room as Kaito stretched. Ami had found a place to sit and watch Kaito make a fool of himself again "Oh Sano, be sure that you two don't make this place topple down with us here".

Sano blinked and looked to his younger sister and nodded "Alright Amilia". She had pulled out a bag of cookies and started to munch on them as the boys began their fight. They normally did it out of boredom as they where now. Sano had debated different ways to fight Kaito, after all his younger twin was rather predictable. Before Kaito could make a move Sano tighten up his own short pony tail that was held with a white piece of leather and made sure that his long bang on one side of his face wasn't going to constrict his view.

Kaito made a rush for him and Sano prepared himself. Kaito smacked right in to Sano, making him move ever so slightly and inch back. Sano's nails of his bare feet dug in to stone in hopes to keep him further in place. The boys' forehead met and they glared at one another.

Cold ice like eyes stared in to the raging red flames. They stayed in to a lock, both of them applying the right pressure to keep them in place. They where so tense neither moved as Ami flipped through the pages. She had had bag of cookies half finished when she got up and had pushed them from the side with her own bare foot.

The pair gave way easy as she had pushed from the side right in the middle, unbalancing them. The pair had fallen on their sides and looked up to her. She raise a brow to her brothers, daring them to say a word. Kaito huffed and got up and Sano had shrugged his shoulders and rose to his feet as well.

"I've found a neat little spell of a sort, and I'm curious" she said and had bit herself, some black blood cam from the pad of her paw and she drew a crescent moon withing a sun, and began to speak.

From one world so strange to the next
We are done and wish for home
Where sun and moon rise with us

She had backed from the crude drawing as a portal began to open above it, facing the three of them. All their eyes opened in amazement. Ami's dark brown eyes stared straight in to the purple sparkling spiral. She reached towards it her paw touched and as she did Sano gripped her shoulder "Wait Ami we don't-"

"Don't worry" she said to him as only her paw had gone through the portal and she smiled "It hasn't harmed me". Sano had let go of her and blinked as her calm smile had turned to pursed lips. Time seemed to move in slow motion as it sucked the three of them in, All three trying to get out of it's grasp but inevitably pulled in and they all blacked out.

She was the first to awaken, her paws.... paws.... no, she no longer had paws. She had blinked in surprise that she now had hooves. She was careful as she had gotten up, feeling a bit strange being on four paws, not paws, she reminded herself, I have hooves now.

She looked to her sides and saw a red and a blue pony. She recognized their hair styles. She had carefully moved to Sano first and nudged him with a hoof. He groaned and had slowly got up, his eye not quite open yet. Once he had he blinked in surprise he was finding the feeling of being on all fours a bit strange too. He looked down to see and had shaken his head in disbelief "I'm a horse".

Ami nodded and could hardly believe it herself "Yah you are, so is Kaito". Sano looked confused for a few moments until he looked over to the red pony who was snoring. Sano's brows had lowered and his head did too, looking a bit annoyed "Dense fool, he gets knocked out and just sleeps...." Sano had gone over, having half a mind to just kick him awake, actually he had more than half a mind. He debated on waking his brother with a kick of a slap or just leaping on top of him and squishing him awake.

He was going to do it in a different way, so he had bent his head down next to Kaito's ear and had started off at a normal voice "Kaito". He only got a groan for a respone and a snore. Sano got a little louder "Kaito", again the same response. Sano had said his name gradually louder and louder until finally.... "KAITO!" He had jumped up so quick he thought his butt had frozen over "Hu what?!"

Sano had sighed and Kaito had taken in the look of his brother and sister and fell over laughing "Oh my god look at you two!!!!" Sano was annoyed right away and Ami had huffed a bit, she hadn't even gotten a good look at herself and the idiot of them all was laughing his head off. Sano had put a hoof on to Kaito's head and quickly froze his face over. Kaito had quickly gotten up and in to a panic. He had put his head down to the ground and his own hooves over the ice to melt it.

"What was-?!" he stopped as he realized, he was a horse, he had hooves and not paws, he wasn't a wolf. He had then gone in to a panic running around the other two "AHHHHHHH!!" Ami had stopped her hoof down and roots had grown up to hold Kaito in place. Sano and Ami both knew despite the situation they needed to remain calm, they had been in worse situations.

A guard had trotted up to them and huffed "You three new ponies, this way, the princess wishes to see you". Kaito had finished his freaking and was mad now, burning out of Ami's vines. She had growled like she was a cat still and snapped at Kaito.

"Hurt my babies again and I will hurt you" she growled and soon calmed as she turned her attention to the guard "Lead the way". With that he had lead them along. The trio had gotten a chance to look at their surroundings then. It looked almost exactly like the ruins they where in, except it was no longer ruins, but a beautiful shinning town with many other ponies, though the trio where being stared at. Ami was feeling a little self conscious, Sano didn't feel comfortable, but instead wanted to hide in the shadows, Kaito having a one track mind was still mad, wanting to know why he was a pony.

The guard had taken them to a long hall past stain glass windows. Ami was amazed by the windows, they looked so beautiful and brilliant and was sure they told a story. The guard open a very large door and at the end of the throne room was a pony with a horn, and wings with a crown. She expected this to be the princess of the place, or kingdom. The boys' earlier feelings at seeing such a beautiful white horse. The guard had nudged Ami to move foreword and her brothers followed suite.

"I hear you three had appeared after being dumped out of a swirling sparkling purple portal" she had said to them. Ami had taken a bow and the brothers followed, knowing proper manners with royalty.

"Yes princess...."

"Celestia"

"Princess Celestia, we did indeed come out from a portal, we are very new to this place as well" Ami had said and taken a deep breath, describing the events that had lead them here, taking out Kaito's little freak out and the part of them having powers.

Celestia studied them, they where as large as earth ponies, but not as big as her, and had large enough wings to carry them obviously "You are a combination of earth pony and pegasus she explained to them and had a servant get a body mirror "I expect you haven't seen yourself in full".

"No we haven't Princess" Ami had replied. When a unicorn came back with a mirror Ami got to look first. She had looked, happy to see her own hair, not a mane, and her own fur color along with her own soft pink wings. She had noticed a mark on her butt, everyone seemed to have one "What is this mark princess?"

"That is your cutie mark, it represents your talent of a sort, like mine is the sun, for I raise the sun every day" she told them. That is weird, Ami thought, knowing in her world the sun and moon rise and fall on their own. "Though I can not imagine what your cutie marks mean, might you know?" she asked of the trio.

Ami had looked at her's a rose sitting within a princess's crown "Well Princess, where I come from I am royalty, so that must be the crown, and I have the ability to move the earth and plants to my will so that must be what the rose means" she said and stepped away.

Sano had taken a look, he was glad to know he was all the right blue and seen waves on his hooves, thinking how appropriate, he was glad to have his wings still and looked to his mark, a wave with a scythe over it.
The princess furrowed her brows "What does your's mean sir".

"My name is Sano, that is Kaito and that is Ami, and I believe the wave means water, for I have the ability to manipulate it, and the scythe I believe means harvester" he replied, not wanting to tell of what. Celesita could feel that Sano was indeed intelligent, but he wasn't saying something, but she didn't think pressing him right now would not be a good idea. Finally Kaito got to see himself, he had a fit.

"I'm CUTE I'm not suppose to be cute!" he had complained rather loudly "How am I a player, a lover, a casanova, suppose to flirt with females when I am cute, and how am I suppose to strike fear in to people if I am cute?!" Ami had rolled her eyes and Sano smacked hin "Get your head together, your coat is the color of blood, why wouldn't people-" he stopped, feeling like people was the wrong word "ponies be terrified by you?"

Kaito had thought for a moment, seeing he still had his snake bites, and double ear peirceings, he nodded and had looked to his flank and smiled "I'm loving the mark". It was a flame with a three pronged scratch mark over it. The princess thought it was real for a moment and blinked a bit, it did look rather intimidating. "I suppose this stands for my love for fire and for the form I can change in to" he said, shaking his butt.

He had a short tail, it fit her hair style quite nicely, and Sano had a tail similar to his pony tail in his hair. Celestia was a little concerned with the boys and had said "Ami, I would like you to go see my pupil Twilight in Ponyville, and see if she can find you three a way home, I want Sano and Kaito to stay here and speak with me a little longer, the guard outside the door shall show you to a balloon and hand you a map to the town". Ami nodded and bowed "Yes princess". She had then trotted off.

Sano and Kaito had turned to the princess then, confused "Yes princess?", they said in complete unison, showing that they where twins.
