Opening the door to the barracks Trevor drops his helmet and flight suit onto the floor before making a b-line to the kitchen looking around he found himself becoming impressed with how the kitchen was set up. In front of him was a counter beside a stove.pantry and a fridge.

Walking to the fridge Joseph opens the door before looking inside hoping for something good inside. Looking at the first door shelf he grabs the bottle of apple juice he saw before letting the door close turning around he opens the bottle taking a sip.

“That’s much better now to find out what the fuck is happening and why I’m awake.” Talking to himself he hears the door open poking his head out of the kitchen he spots the two princesses followed by six other ponies one being another ,but smaller alicorn.

“Ah princess Celestia and Luna just the mares I wanted to see now will you kindly explain why the fuck Equestria is at war and why I feel like me being woken up wasn’t for just saying hello.”

Once he was done talking he leaned against the wall scanning the six ponies that occompanied the princesses. Most of the six ponies just stared at him with wide eyes ,but one seemed to cringe from how he looked and by what he would guess was his colorful vocabulary.

‘Hello again Joseph I wished us reuniting was on better terms ,but Equestria is once again at war so far we’re on the losing end we lost twelve million soldiers so far and are barely holding on thats why you’ve been awoken once more.”

Closing his eyes he lets what Celestia told him to sink in before opening his eyes again and looking over at his gear before hearing someone clear their throat looking towards the sounds direction his sight landing on the smaller alicorn.

“Princess Celestia I don’t understand how this creature can help us.” The smaller alicorn spoke hearing what she said annoyed Joseph causing him to roll his eyes before pushing past the two princesses so he was standing in front of her.

“This creature just saved that small village from being overrun so watch what you say to me because im the last thing you want to piss of considering your current situation little princess.”

Trevor watched as one of the ponies a cyan blue rainbow haired pegasus open her mouth to say something but stop a straighten up after a symbol on Josephs’ uniform under shirt caught her attention. The patch was blue with a gold outline patters featuring a yellow etched pegasus' wing in the middle of said patch the patch of a Wonderbolts captain.

“ Private Rainbow Dash reporting sir!” Hearing dash yell out causes her friends to look at her and Trevor to grin slightly knowing what’s happening now “At ease private no need to be formal with me never liked that shit anyways.”

Upon hearing the order Rainbow Dash relaxes her posture before landing next to Rarity whom raises her brow in a questioning manner “Darling i hope you don’t mind me asking but why did you just do that with Joseph?”

Trevor feels a bit of a smile grow on his face picking up his helmet he tucks it under his arm “It’s because I'm the reason the wonderbolts was formed making me their only flight captain and I’m proud of it.”

Hearing Trevor speak of his rank in the wonderbolts causes Celestia and Luna to smile since it’s been so long since they’ve heard Trevor speak about his rank in Equestrias’ military ,but one pony still doesn’t understand what’s going on.

“Wait I thought Spitfire was a flight captain in the wonderbolts?” Trevor finds himself looking at the smaller princess once again before allowing a sigh to escape his lips before deciding to answer the question himself.

“Well this Spitfire is a team captain most likely in charge of her own branch in the wonderbolts. Where as I’m in charge of the wonderbolts as a whole hence why my title is flight captain.” Trevor found himself comfortable with talking about his position in the equestrian military.

As the ponies looked around the barracks with princess Celestia showing them around Trevor picked up his flight gear before walking over to a wall covered in tall standing lockers. Opening the first locker Trevor hangs his flight suit and vest raising his helmet up to place it on the rack inside of the locker he catches the reflection of princess Luna in its visor.

“Trevor I was wondering if we can talk?” Sighing Trevor looks over his shoulder at the princess he knew what she wanted to talk about and he wasn’t happy about it.

“Luna I really don’t want to fucking talk about that shit it already happen and is over with leave it at that.” Slamming his helmet down in the locker with a loud metallic clank he closes the locker and pushes past her only to hear the night princess ask one question he didn’t want to hear.

“Trevor what has happened between us I don’t understand?” stopping in his tracks Trevor looks over his shoulder once again the growing look of frustration shown in his face and with a single word he answers her question. “We happened Luna.’ with the answer given Trevor simply looks forward and walks into the main living space of the barracks.

Hearing Trevor walk into the main living area the ponies look over spotting the frustrated look on the human’s face as he sits down on the couch a loud sigh escaping his lips before asking princess Celestia one more question “How the hell did this war manage to start the Zebras refuse to give you cake or something Celestia?”

Hearing his joke laced comment Celestia approaches Trevor pushing her chest into the humans right leg a move seen as some type of act of intimidation towards the human by the other ponies but the human only cracks a smile knowing the cake loving sun goddess’ true intention with the act.

“I have you know it wasn’t me,Luna or my love of baked goods that caused this war in fact the zebras started the whole thing over a dispute with the griffins. A few years ago Zebrica and the many factions of Griffus met up in Canterlot to negotiate land claims at first everything was tame and peaceful,but then one piece of griffon land was brought to attention the griffin military had set up a training camp along their border that lead into Zebrica the zebras wanted that very piece of land for a military base the griffins however refused politely not wanted any acts of aggression to happen between both factions militaries to start a war.”

Nodding to what Celestia was saying Trevor used his leg to nudge the princess back a bit before sitting up. “What happened next Sunbutt?”

Hearing the question and not giving any attention to the humans nickname for her Celestia continues to speak to him.

“Hearing the griffons refusal infuriated the Zebrican leaders causing them to threaten the griffins with the promise of declaring war against the griffins and any empire allied with them. The griffins not appreciating the threat challenged the zebras true intentions with the meeting ending with zebrican leaders to leave my castle leaving behind a declaration of war for the griffins and Equestria so that’s why your hear and awake we need you or else all of Equestria will be lost forever.”

Hearing what Celestia has told him he nods fully understanding now as he leans back into the couch before looking over at the six ponies before talking himself. “I’ll need a team Celestia my team because if Equestrias future really does fall onto my shoulders I need ponies I can depend on and trust with watching my back and no Mint Skies won’t be enough.”

Nodding her head Celestia lets a small smile grace her muzzle “Yes I’m sure Talon company will be happy to know their team captain is back in action.” chuckling the human peers out of the window his F-15 Eagle coming into view his eyes focusing onto the talon symbol on the tail of his aircraft. “Yes they will Tia and those zebras won’t be in my skies after im done with them.”

finally got this chapter completed I did enjoy making this chapter since I had to etch out a bit of Trevor' history with Celestia and Luna as well as how he'd react with Twilight and the main six moving forward hope you all enjoy this chapter as much as I did writing it
