//-------------------------------------------------------// Therapy Session Gone Wrong -by WildDancer101- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Therapy Session Gone Wrong //-------------------------------------------------------// Therapy Session Gone Wrong When the villains Chrysalis, Tirek, and Cosy Glow were defeated and turned into stone, Equestria was overjoyed and called for a celebration. It's princess, Celestia thanked Twilight Sparkle and her friends for saving the country once again, and she asked her former student now Princess of Friendship if she wants to commence her coronation as the next leader of Equestria. The next words from Twilight's mouth, wasn't what Celestia expected. Instead of taking up Celestia's offer, Twilight slowly started to show her disappointment and disgust at the Alicorn of the Sun for certain actions she took throughout the years, even questioning if Celestia told Discord to disguise himself as Grogar and gather the villains as another "test" to bolster Twilight's confidence. Taken aback by the accusation, Celestia defends that she had nothing to do with that. She didn't expect to be slapped in the face by her former student. This garners the attention and shock of Twilight's friends, family, Spike, Starlight Glimmer, Luna, Starswirl the Bearded and his Pillar companions, and the other leaders of their lands. As Twilight slapped Celestia, she further accuses the Alicorn of lying to her and hurting her by overestimating her. She even brings up the fact that this isn't the first time Celestia did so. Feeling a little angered by Twilight's behavior, Celestia asks when was the first. "'My dearest, most faithful student Twilight. You know that I value your diligence and that I trust you completely. But you simply must stop reading those dusty old books!'" Twilight says these words with venom in her voice making everypony feel uneasy, and she then states Celestia already knew that Luna was Nightmare Moon and Twilight tried to warn her that the prophecy of Luna's evil alter ego returning was coming true, but did Celestia listen? No! She instead makes fun of Twilight's love for books, ignores her concerns and sends her to Ponyville to make friends. Twilight and Celestia went back and forth a bit on this matter, until Celestia notices the angry stares of everypony directed at her, and what did she do? Well...let's just say the last few days wasn't pretty, and lukewarm. And by the time it died down, something desperate had to be done. In Canterlot, the citizens gathered around a building where it deals with psychological issues, and inside one of it's rooms is a group of ponies consisting of Celestia sitting on a chair, Luna, Sunset Shimmer and Twilight sitting across from her, and two psychologists standing beside Celestia. The white Alicorn's mane and tail was flowing slowly and looked a little grey, showing how depressed Celestia looks. Luna kept her disappointed gaze at her sister, and it may not look like it, but she is trying not to lose her temper again so that this matter can be resolved. Sunset Shimmer looks at her former teacher and so called 'mother' with hurt in her eyes, still coming to terms of what Celestia did. Sunset came to Equestria when she heard from Spike what has happened. To say she is disgusted with Celestia is the understatement of her life. And Twilight Sparkle is fuming with rage yet keeps control for the sake of this session. She breathes through her nostrils loud enough to be heard and has her angry, dilated pupils on the Alicorn who betrayed her thoughout the years. The stallion psychologist is an Earth Pony with a brown mane and tail, blue eyes, a beige coat, a cutie mark showing scales balancing a feather and scroll and is wearing a white coat. The mare beside him is a Unicorn with a long lavender mane and tail, yellow eyes, a light pink coat, a cutie mark showing a playground swing with a scroll on it and is wearing the same coat the stallion has. By the time this session is set up, the stallion breaks the silence. "I know some bad blood has accumulated between you three and Celestia," the stallion said, "That's why we had this appointment set up to get to the root of your problems. Personally, I don't see the point of doing this considering what Celestia has done for each of you. Key word 'for.'" "That may be, but Celestia has done certain things that rubbed everypony the wrong way, and none of them realized that until Twilight Sparkle brought them to light." the mare replied, "So the sooner we help them out on this, the better it will be for everyone." "Hmm, good point. Might as well get to it while the getting's good." the stallion chuckled nervously, earning an eye roll from the mare. "Alright, let's start. Luna, would you like to say some words to your sister?" The blue Alicorn turns her attention to her sister, and despite her anger directed her words calmly to Celestia, "A millenia ago I was jealous of the attention the subjects directed to you and your sun. I didn't bother to tell you how I felt because I was convinced you wouldn't listen to me due to getting an inflated sense of superiority. That's why Nightmare Moon came to be and twisted my desires." Luna sat up from her chair, "If it wasn't for Twilight Sparkle and her friends releasing me with the Elements of Harmony I would still have resentment for you, but hearing what Twilight said about you made me realize my feelings were justified along with questioning why we are sisters in the first place. What do you have to say for yourself?" Celestia slowly turned her head up to Luna looking hurt, "To be honest, I don't know why I thought of that stupid plan of bringing you back to me. I guess, I was afraid that you still had that grudge on me for not being the kind of sister you wish to have and believing Twilight would feel hurt that I lied to her about our relationship for so long." The white alicorn looked down to her side, "This situation proves that we are not exactly ready to treat each other as sisters. Perhaps in the future we can, if you are up to it." Luna softened her gaze and sat back down, "I have my doubts, but I suppose we need some space to figure our relationship out. Just don't give up on yourself, yet." "I'll try not to." Celestia replied, smiling. "Seems like the sisters patched things up." the stallion nodded to the mare. "Um, honey?" the mare tried to bring something up, but the stallion continued the session. "Sunset Shimmer? Anything you want to say to Celestia?" the stallion asked the red maned unicorn. Sunset sighed and looked at her former teacher, "While you were teaching me about various subjects I was happy and wanted to be at your side. But when you showed me that mirror and I saw my supposed future and made such ridiculous demands to you, you denied me the chance. That's why I escaped to that human world, to vent my frustrations with you for not giving me the happiness I wanted." After a few seconds Sunset resumed, "I didn't want to believe what was said about you, but seeing Twilight look so hurt because of your actions made me disgusted with myself for thinking you'd be the kind of mother I could've had. So much so that I want to stay in the human world without contact with Equestria until I die." "I could have told you that I needed your help in bringing my sister back, but I was too blinded by my love for you to bother doing so." Celestia explained, "And I could have contacted you to see how well you are doing, but for some reason I didn't. So in a way, it took this session to make the both of us actually talk to each other. I understand if you don't want anything to do with me anymore, nor forgive me for my lack of communication. Just know that I always loved you like a daughter I never had and never meant to hurt you the way I seemly did." Another sigh escaped Sunset's lips, "I guess if you are genuinely sorry I can forgive you, just not right now. Give it time, and maybe we can start over." Celestia nodded with a smile. "Great progress, you two." the stallion smiled at the situation, "I feel like you'll be back to being friends in no time." The mare once again tried to bring something to the stallion's attention, "Honey, there's something off about what-" "Twilight Sparkle," the stallion addressed the Princess of Friendship, making the mare face hoof, "do you have something to say?" "You lied to me!" the purple Alicorn screamed like she never screamed before, "You kept keeping secrets from me until the last minute! You brushed off my concerns like you are not amused by my circus act! You put me in danger believing I can handle it when in fact that I can't! You turned me into an Alicorn without asking me if it is what I wanted!" Twilight got off her chair in a huff, "And worst of all, you manipulated my life to the point of forcing me to take your place as the next leader of Equestria, regardless if I was ready for it or NOT!!!" She then bucked her chair to the wall, making the present ponies surprised by this action. "Give me one reason, ONE BUCKING REASON, WHY I SHOULD FORGIVE YOU!!!" Celestia, despite being hurt by Twilight's words sighed heavily and looked sadly at her former student, "I was so focused on making you happy by wanting you to live the life I pictured you living in, that I didn't bother to think about what you really needed. I didn't mean to hurt you like that, but it doesn't change the fact that I did. And I am so sorry for doing as such to you." A single tear escaped from the white Alicorn's eye, "Also, I was under the impression you are a capable pony that can handle anything that comes your way, but I was disappointed in myself for believing as such when you said those things to me. Like I said to Sunset, I understand that you don't want anything to do with me nor forgive me. But what I can ask, is don't let your hatred blind you to the bigger picture on any life you choose to live." Twilight rolls her eyes in annoyance, "Whatever. Just don't come near me in anyway or the consequences will never be the same." Celestia frowned, but in what manner is unsure. "Oh well, two out of three is better then none at all." the stallion stated, "I think this therapy session went pretty well." "HONEY!!!" the mare shouted, startling everypony in the room, "Haven't you been paying attention to what Celestia has been doing? Her tone of voice and facial features indicate that she is lying, and not taking this seriously!" she then lights up her horn, and with a tug, something comes off of Celestia's face. "And of course, she cast a silent spell on her face to make it look like she is sad about this situation!" Indeed, it looks like a transparent face doing lots of facial motions. Luna, Sunset and Twilight look wide eyed at Celestia, who darts her dilated eyes around the room and grinning like an idiot. The cat is out of the bag. "Oh come now, darling," the stallion replied believing it is a joke, "It's not like this is an omen of bad things to-" BBBLLLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRGGGG!!! A large horn is blown as the situation quickly switches to the gates of Canterlot with an angry mob, Twilight and her friends and family, Spike, Luna, and Sunset Shimmer look furiously at Celestia who has her eyes closed and a neutral expression. The two psychologists look from afar frowning at the sight. A stallion guard reads aloud the words from the scroll he is holding. "By decree of her majesty, Princess Luna and the Equestrian council, the former sovereign Princess of the Sun and Equestria, Celestia, for her crimes of corruption, manipulation, deception, and attempted abandonment of her throne to an inexperienced pony, is hearby sentenced to exile from Equestria without any parole! Attempting to disregard this sentence will result in permanent imprisonment to Tartarus for eternity!" The angry mob then booed and jeered at the white Alicorn, they didn't bother to throw anything at their former ruler because they believe she isn't worth it. "You are a monster, Celestia!" Twilight shouted lividly, "I hate you! Get out of Equestria! And stay out!" "If you show your face in this land again, it will be the last time you see it on this world!" Luna yelled in a professional manner despite her anger. Then she waved her hoof to silence the mob. "Any last words before your sentence is carried out?" the guard asks. At first Celestia said nothing, but then she opens her eyes, revealing her eyes to be yellow and dragon like pupils in front of her black irises, and when she spoke, her mouth has fangs, and her voice sounds like there is a presence behind Celestia's true voice. This unnerved everypony present. "May Faust have mercy on your souls." With that, Celestia opens her wings, turns around and pushes off the ground, flying away to the south western horizon at top speed. Everypony watches her go with mixed feelings until the yellow dot disappears. "You know, on one hoof I should be disappointed," the stallion psychologist muttered, "but on the other, I'm kind of proud of her." The mare beside him simply narrowed her eyes, wondering why all this happened in the first place. Author's Note This was something I wanted to let out since the idea nagged at my head. As I said in the full description of this story I was inspired by that video to write it. Any thoughts and critique is welcome.
