Birds sang in the morning air, as a soft, warm light poured into the bedroom. The leaves of trees rustled through the soft breeze outside, giving a gentle and pleasant sound to wake to. Despite knowing the fact that it was all made up, it was still amazing nonetheless.
What made it even better was when I felt the gentle pressure and warmth of my lover beside me.
He purred softly while in his gentle slumber, making me smile just at the sound.
I opened my eyes, facing the white ceiling, before turning my head to my right. My foreleg was trapped under his head while one of his lay over my side, and our rears were thoroughly and lovingly tangled together.
I caressed his green coated cheek with my free hoof, brushing some of his copper mane away from his eyes as I took in the soft smile that curled on his lips.
“Good morning, my love.” I said in a gentle whisper as I lightly booped my muzzle to his.
Like he did every morning, his hum deepened and he kissed my nose softly before cracking his eyes open.
“And a beautiful morning to you too, Boo.” He mumbled, still half asleep.
A soft shade of crimson grew on my cheeks as my smile widened. “Ah, damn it. You’re awake again. One of these mornings, I’m gonna make breakfast for you. Just you wait!” I said as I teasingly poked his shoulder with the tip of my hoof.
He winked and kissed my nose again before giggling. “Not today though love.”
“Yeah, yeah…” I licked his snoot as I wrapped my hoof around his head, pulling him in a little closer. “Mlem.” I giggled softly afterward, before nuzzling his cheek, closing my eyes. “I’m so glad I got someone to cover my shift today… It’s nice to be able to sleep in with my Boo Bear for once.”
“And I am too, baby. We haven’t had a day to ourselves in...“ He smiled and moved his eyes up, thinking. “Well, I could never have too much time with my special mare.” Turning his eyes back to me he gave me a third kiss on the nose before sliding down and softly kissing my lips.
I kissed him back, pushing into it a little. I had to fight the urge to slide my tongue in, because uh… heh… Morning breath… I didn’t want to gross him out.
Once we parted from the kiss, I looked back into his beautiful, green emeralds he had for eyes. “I’m so glad you convinced me to take time off. I just hope my security team will have an easy day.”
“Pssht.” He waved his hoof dismissively. “Your team. There's a reason they are the best in the station. They will be fine without you for one day.”
I leaned in and kissed him on the cheek, before sliding my foreleg out from under his head carefully. “I know… I guess… I’m just worried about anything crossing the Skybridge while I’m away. There hasn’t been any activity there lately, and it worries me. Feels like there’s something brewing.” I paused and shook my head, once he went silent. “N-nevermind. Just paranoia speaking.” I looked back at him with a calm smile and sat up, letting the blanket over me fall on my lower half in a bundle. I ran my hoof through his smooth mane as I regarded him. “I’m gonna brush my teeth and take a shower, love. I’ll save some hot water for you.” I leaned in and kissed the tip of his horn, knowing all too well the effect it’d have on him.
He let out a soft purr at my actions and his eyes got that certain drunken, half lidded state. “Mmmm. Yesss…..” and after only just a second he reverted to normal. “And I’ll go get breakfast planned. Got a big day ahead of us and you need all your strength, Missy.” He gave me a quick wink and rolled out of bed, disappearing with a THUD.
“Agh!” I lunged over to his side of the bed. “Are you okay!?”
He sprang back up like a Pone-in-the-box and quickly said, “Meant to do that,” before trotting off with a cheeky smile.
I sighed as my smile came back, watching him leave the room.
I stood up as he trotted off into the hall and made my way to our bathroom, in the far right corner of the room from where I was.
I got the water running via my magic as I stared in the mirror, at the bedhead of a mane I had been brewing last night. I was gonna take care of that after the shower.
I was about to open the cabinet behind the reflective glass when I noticed a sticky note in the upper left corner of the mirror. It was a simple blue heart, but it had been there for the last year and while it was heavily faded from all the hot steamy showers, it made me smile every time.
My heart - or the machine that represented my heart - began to beat in my chest as I stared longingly at the note, bringing back a flood of fond memories.
I took a deep breath, and as the smile stayed, I opened the cabinet and pulled my toothbrush and a tablet out, only to close the cabinet again after.
I placed the tablet on the brush and watched as it started to melt and sink. From there, I began brushing, still looking up at the blue heart. I couldn’t help but smile, a little bit of froth dribbling out of the corner of my mouth, causing me to have to spit in the sink every so often, as to not make a mess all over the counter.
~~~
I spent the next several minutes in the shower, washing my snow white coat down with soap, and rubbing shampoo throughout my black and white mane and tail. I took a brief moment to myself, just standing in the shower stall and letting the hot water run down my body. I closed my eyes to the sensation of it all, and for a moment, my thoughts shut off, allowing my mind to drift between various memories. From ones of me and my team on the Skybridge, to the fond memories of my Dragon.
Just for a moment, though. I told him I’d save some hot water for his shower after breakfast. I hope I didn’t get too carried away.
I took another deep breath and turned the showerhead off, before levitating a towel from the rack over to me and drying my coat off. As I stepped out, once my body was damp, I hit a button on the side of the mirror. The steam that had built up on the pane faded abruptly to the sound of a fan, sharpening my silhouette into a clear reflection of myself. My mane was a bit tangled, but I cleared it all with my magic. It helped a lot more if I saw what I was doing. Last time Dragon tried it, he accidentally ripped out a strand of hair. From my tail.
The nice thing about that, was the flood of apologetic kisses to the… mmm… general area.
I tapped the wall next to the mirror three times, before tracing the tip of my hoof in a clockwise circular motion, and then counter clockwise. A small rectangle of the smooth, polished panel of my wall popped out, and I used my magic to grab a hold of the piece that revealed itself to me and slid it out into the open. I set down the black box that came with it carefully, put the entire bottom of my forehoof down on the unique symbol that marked its top that represented alien scripture, and waited until I heard a click. I took my hoof off it and watched as the top slid open, revealing one regular sized, black and white feather that seemed to almost hold a glow to it from the wet atmosphere around it. My white aura enveloped the treasure and lifted it to my mane, just behind my left ear, opposite of the one that bore my two piercings.
From there, I put the compartment back in the wall.
As I stepped out of the bathroom, I hummed a soft tune of our song, before singing the lyrics, making my way down the hall to the living room, swaying my flank left and right with my movement.
“Don’t shed your tears, just meet me in a house of love. You know when you’re there, cause the colors just soak you up. Once I was lost, but in this house I can be found. Feel like the sun, we’re rising and we won’t come down.”
My movements were interrupted by the delicious aroma of bacon. Fuck, I loved bacon, but I still loved my Dragon more.
As I stepped into the living room, I continued singing softly, letting him know I was there as I made my way to the kitchen.
“Into the night, into forever. Let’s come together. Like the brightened stars.” I sang softly as I trotted into the kitchen to find him at the stove, prepping our breakfast.
I stopped beside him, before kissing at his neck. “Into the night, into forever.” I moved up below his ear for another kiss. “Let’s come together.” To his jawline. “Like the brightened stars.” And then his cheek.
He kept fidgeting with pancakes in the skillet, but as I got closer to his lips he hummed louder before turning to look at me.
I lightly put the tip of my forehoof to his snoot, before I moved in. My lips locked with his as my eyes closed, and my hoof found its way around to the back of his neck, pulling him in closer. I started giggling softly behind the kiss, before humming the tune to the song I was singing.
He hummed deeply along with me as he kissed me back firmly. After a moment he pulled away just a little and I opened my eyes, giving a little pout.
“No tongue…?” I mumbled with the best puppy dog eyes I could muster. He giggled and winked before kissing my nose softly.
“Morning breath.” He whispered playfully, before turning his attention back to the food. He flipped it over with a spatula held in his grasp, revealing a beautiful golden brown pancake.
I giggled softly and pressed my muzzle to his, our lips just mere centimeters from meeting. “Right…” I whispered back, gazing into his eyes. I stayed there for a moment, taking in the beauty of the windows to his soul, before backing up and trotting past him. As I did, I whipped my tail at his flank with a seductive bite of my lip, as I made my way to the coffee machine.
He let out a soft gasp at my little whip and turned back to meet my gaze. Wiggling his eyebrows he gave his flank a little shake and blew me a kiss.
I grinned and blew a kiss right back at him, after tearing my eyes away from that sweet butt of his, blushing.
“I love you, Boo.” I said, before activating the machine.
“And I love you too, Bullet.” He said with a soft, soothing voice while keeping our food from burning.
I opened the overhead cupboard and brought out two mugs; both wrapped in a white aura of magic that only my horn conjured.
Both mugs had our cutiemarks and coat colors, but we exchanged mugs.
I filled up the mug with the sniper crosshairs first, before sliding it over to him. “There ya go, Boo Bear. Drink from my ass.” I grinned as I awaited his expression, trying to refrain from laughter.
He chuckled and placed the mug to his lips, taking a little sip of the hot black coffee. “Only thing that's better is drinking from the real thing love.”
As I burst into laughter, I felt my face turn beet red. “Ah, Dragon! Gross!” I started to fill up the mug with the dragon design, shaking my head and laughing softer as time went on. “Ass gurgle. That’s a new one.” Once it was filled up towards the top, I took a mouthful of the contents within, lifted my head up, and opened my mouth to gurgle the coffee for a moment.
Dragon started laughing, which made it hard for me to not break into it again myself. Some of the coffee spilled out of the corner of my mouth, and I had to swallow the rest before I made any more of a mess, laughing all the while.
Because of the laughter, that made an even bigger mess. Once my throat was clear, I looked back at him, smiling. “Well, your ass tastes good too.” I stated as I levitated a paper towel to my face.
Dragon took his gaze off the stove and regarded the dark stains on my snow white coat.
“You know love, you used to be much better at keeping things down.” He said cooly with a little eyebrow wiggle before turning back to the stove and flipping the entire pan of bacon in one smooth motion.
“Oh, you keep that up, mister, and I’ll show you just how well I can keep things down.” I said with a wink and a grin. I looked over the bar to see the dining table was already set up for us. “Dragon, you did it again…”
I moved up and kissed him on the cheek. “Do you want any help, love?”
He smiled, leaned over and kissed my cheek in return. He then scooped up the one pancake and rested it on top of the stack of others. “Want to take the cakes to the table? The bacon is going to be juuuust another few moments.”
I nodded before nuzzling into his neck a bit. “Consider it done.” With that, I levitated my coffee and the plate of pancakes. I opened the fridge and grabbed the whipped cream, butter, and turned around, closing the fridge door with my rear hoof. As I made my way out of the kitchen and into the dining room on the other side of the bar, I used my magic to open one of the cupboards and pull out the bottle of syrup.
I did the rest of the set up at the dining table from there.
I mentally reached out to the droid that had accompanied me ever since I first moved into the station, and gave it an order.
“Mecha, put on the station.”
At once, a female voice spoke through the speakers in the house, talking about the Skybridge, and how well things have been there, as of late. I guess I was the only one paranoid about it. Everyone else didn’t seem to look too deep into it.
From there, they moved on to the topic of business all along the Hub, and how we were at a ceasefire in the war, as there weren’t any assaults in the past several months.
I sat there, listening quietly to Wolfgang’s voice as she brought the latest news to the people.
Returning my attention to the table, I placed my mug next to my plate to await my love, and my bacon. I looked at the table and noticed an unfamiliar bottle sitting next to my plate. I picked it up and inspected the cream colored liquid through the clear bottle.
“Love, what is this?” I asked as I held it up to the soft light and looked at its swirling patterns and colors.
Dragon trotted around the bar with a plate full of bacon and smiled at me. “Just a little special treat for my special mare.” He winked and set the platter of meat down between our two plates, before taking a seat next to me.
I opened the bottle and put my nose to the neck of the bottle, taking in the scent. Immediately, I knew what it was. I had smelled it many times before.
“Fresh from the source.” Dragon smiled as my eye caught a glance of him looking at me as I sniffed the contents again.
Smiling, I turned to him and grabbed a few cakes, before letting the substance pour over my breakfast. “This’ll be the only topping I need.” I said, before nuzzling his jawline. “Speaking of which…” I closed my eyes, and with a flash, a glass bottle popped into existence before us.
I opened my eyes and rested my head on his shoulder as I looked at the off-white container. “This is for you.” I levitated it closer to him, smiling brighter.
His deep emerald magic lit up around the bottle as he brought it close to his face. He smiled and nuzzled my nose.
“It isn't… is it?” He asked hopefully.
I nodded with a proud grin. “It very much is. Straight from the source.”
I could feel his body buzz a little as he kissed my nose, then unscrewed the cap, placed the bottle to his lips and took a small sip. He let out a deep happy pur and softly whispered, “Fuck yeah… that’s the good stuff…”
I giggled and wrapped a hoof around his shoulder. “I’m glad you love it… Dork.”
I began to cut into my pancakes and took a nice big bite of the sticky cream covered, goodness, before smirking. “Mmf… Pineapple again, huh?” I gave him a wink as I went for more.
He nodded and levitated a few pancakes onto his own plate, drizzling some syrup and whipped cream on top. “Nothing but the best for my baby.” He then took a bite, followed by another drink from the white container.
I mentally told Mecha to switch the radio off, so we could eat in peace. I just needed a quick catch-up on what was happening out there.
“So, love.” I started, finishing off one half of the pancakes, before going to the bacon. “What do you have planned for us today?”
He kept chewing the bite of food he had in his mouth as he wiggled a floppy piece of pancake at me, then swallowed.
“All in due course, my sweet Bullet.” He declared and threw the bite into his mouth, then began chewing again. He took a sip of his bottle, and mumbled through half chewed food. “That’s why it's called a surprise. If you knew what it was, it wouldn't be called a surprise, would it?”
I snorted softly and rolled my eyes, smiling behind a bite full of pancake mixed with bacon. “Alright, alright… Just one thing.” I swallowed the contents in my mouth and looked over at him with a mischievous grin as I levitated a nice big strip of bacon from the plate.
He kept chewing and eyed the one piece that I held before he gave a soft smirk and raised a single eyebrow. “And what might that be, my beautiful mare?”
I quickly pressed the strip of bacon against his lips. “This is cargo class vessel, ‘Baconator’ requesting landing. We have fuel for the station known as ‘Your Stomach,’ and require the hangar doors be opened. Over.”
The green stallion giggled and beamed as he mumbled, his lips against the Baconator. “Request granted, Baconator.” He then proceeded to open his mouth wide and hold his tongue out.
As I moved the strip of bacon over his tongue, I mimicked the sounds of a spaceship coming in for a landing with my mouth. “VROOOOOM SCREEECH!” I let go of my telekinetic grasp. “Baconator has landed. See you soon, Your Stomach. Over and out. Chhhk!”
He exaggeratedly chewed the piece of bacon and mumbled happily. “Delicious cargo, Baconator. Thank you for your delivery!” Then he swallowed, before shifting his gaze to me and smiling wide.
“I love you Bullet, you crazy mare, you.” He spoke softly.
I tilted my head to the right with a smile as I put my forehooves to my chest. “Fuckin’ A right, you love me. You expressed that with the previous dining table we had.” I winked and kissed him on the lips, before looking deep into his eyes. “I love you too. So much.”
He giggled as his cheeks changed to a deep red blush. “Well, we have yet to see if this one can hold all our love either.” He said softly as he skewered another few wedges of pancake on his fork.
I giggled under my breath, biting my bottom lip as I looked into those wonderful eyes of his. I always ended up getting lost in them…
“I’ll make sure we test this one out sometime soon.” I said with a wink, as I felt a heat start to grow between my legs.
His cheeks maintained their blush as his eyes flicked up. He must have noticed the effects of my body under the table because he smirked and said, “Easy there tiger. We have a big day planned and table breaking isn't one of those things.” He put the fork in his mouth and started chewing, then after a second added, “Not today anyway.”
Blushing with a coy smile, I nodded. “M-Mhmm…” I moved in and kissed him on the cheek, before returning to the amazing breakfast my Dragon had cooked up for us.
He gave a return kiss to my cheek and resumed eating his food, mopping up the syrup with bites of pancake, occasionally eating a piece of bacon.
Within a matter of a few minutes, my breakfast was all stored safely… In my belly.
I patted my stomach with my forehoof as I leaned back in my seat, sighing with satisfaction. I levitated the plate to my muzzle and licked up the special treat he gave me for my pancakes, closing my eyes in the process.
I lowered the plate when I heard him giggle and saw him smiling brightly at me. “What?” I asked, licking my nose clean.
“Nothing, love.” he said as he leaned over and gave my nose a soft kiss and whispered, “Just how cute you look with my special sauce on your face”
I snickered and shook my head, before moving forward. “Oh, yeah? Well how about I share!?” I said with a ‘sauce’ covered grin as I rubbed my muzzle all over his. “I’m a saucy mare!”
He smirked and levitated the glass container that I had given him and wiggled his eyebrows. “Can confirm, sauce two is heavenly. But sauce one…?” He giggled and took a drink. “That’s best straight from the source.”
Could I get anymore red…?
I spread my legs, bumping one of his with a hoof. “Well, then…” I bit my lip, looking deep into his eyes again. “Maybe we could arrange something for that.”
I could see his eyes look down at the table, right where my hips were before his emerald eyes looked back up with a soft, blushing grin. “We did just have breakfast, but I feel that I could go for a little bit more.”
He pushed the plate away from the table as he slid out of his chair and twisted mine around with his magic, my legs still spread as he leaned against my hindquarters and kissed my chin.
“I love you so much you sexy, beautiful mare.” He hummed softly as he kissed my chin, sliding down my neck. My eyes closed as I felt his soft lips move lower and lower.
“Aa...aaahhh….” I let out a soft moan as my chest received a trail of kisses that led down my body to more… suggestive areas.
~~~
“Bullet’s tit milk.” I said with a proud grin as I trotted alongside Dragon, through the marketplace. “Part of a balanced and nutritious breakfast for this sexy stallion.” I nudged his shoulder with mine as we walked alongside a large window pane that looked out at a planet that had the consistency of sandy dunes from where we were.
I wore a black leather jacket with my cutiemark printed on the sleeve, in red. Intertwined with the cutiemark on said sleeve, was the fire breathing serpent that Dragon forever wore on his flank; the same color as his coat. On my other, was my rank in the M.o.S.; twelve yellow stars, with an extra in the middle. Covering my lower half was a set of black pants that had holes in the leggings.
Dragon wore a jacket just like mine, except for the lack of sleeves. Our two marks were embroidered on the back. He also had a black, white, and dark green knit scarf wrapped twice around his neck, and the free ends hanging below his shoulders. His bottom half was, unfortunately covered by a black shadow tartan, pleated skirt resting just around his hock.
Other ponies and aliens - including Humans - had a certain dress code at the Hub. Most ponies around these parts agreed to their prudish nature, so it was unusual to see naked or exposed ponies around here. Not like back on Equus.
It was kind of a shame, really. Clothes were annoying. At least, at first. My first few years here, I had grown to accept them more.
As I looked out at the planet, I swished my tail around and wrapped it around his, smirking as I came to a slow stop to take in the view.
He stopped beside me in the busy marketplace, staying by my side. As he smiled and leaned in against my cheek, I felt something around my neck. As I looked, I noticed the end of his soft scarf was wrapped loosely around both of our necks. He winked and pressed his entire side to mine.
I smiled softly and nuzzled his jawline, before looking back out at the planet that was bigger than 800 suns. “It’s beautiful.” I said softly, wrapping a hoof around his shoulder. “No matter how many times you see it, no matter how old you get… she still holds a beauty that can’t be broken…”
I felt his warm cheek rest on mine as he was gazing out in the direction I was looking. “Such a beautiful place to share with an equally beautiful mare.” He hummed softly and gave my cheek a gentle nuzzle with his own.
My smile grew as I turned to him. A soft shade of red developed on my cheeks. “She gave me the best gift of all.” I kissed his cheek and closed my eyes as I rubbed my horn against his in a teasing manner. “Y-you…” I stammered and moaned softly for a brief second as I felt the pleasure travel through my horn and venture to other areas of my body in an electric wave of magic.
He nodded slowly as he gave a stuttering purr from the horn contact and I could feel his cheek getting warm with blush. “How lucky I am that she led us together. An angel like you, here with me...” He trailed off softly and I turned my gaze up to him. He looked down at me and smiled. “What a lucky bastard I am.” He continued with a little giggle before kissing me right on the nose.
I pressed my lips to his neck for a moment. “Mm…” I closed my eyes and took in the aroma he carried as he gently rested his chin on my forehead. It was that of mint, but with a very soft sweetness and a, not unpleasant, undertone of machine oil. It was most likely a lot better than my natural scent; Gun oil and whiskey. He continuously said he liked the smell but I had my suspicion that he was just trying to butter me up.
My, what an interesting pair we were.
I smiled brighter at his scent and took a deep lungful of air, before backing up a bit and opening my eyes. “Shall we continue our journey across the station, my love?” I asked, looking up at him as he stood tall and assertive in his posture. A strand of his copper mane dropped over one of his eyes, to which I carefully brushed it out of the way with my magic, keeping my eyes locked on his all the while.
He gave a soft smile and a subtle nod. Looking down at me, I felt like I was the only one who mattered. “Let's do it love. I have to pick up a few things for tonight.”
“This sounds very secret.” I said with a cheeky grin. “I imagine I’m not supposed to know until later?” I ran a forehoof along his chest as I admired him.
He giggled and his smile raised a little. “Not at all love. Quite the contrary, I want you to help me get stuff for dinner.” He closed his eyes and hummed. “The location I have planned for the dinner is a total secret though.”
I nodded and pressed my lips to his gently, closing my eyes and taking in his touch and taste. “Whatever it is, I know I’m going to love it, dear.”
He giggled and kissed me back with his soft sweet lips. “I know you will, my love. Now come. I know you are a carnivore at heart. To the meat market?”
“To your meat market.” I said with a grin and a wink, before slapping his flank with my tail.
He giggled, but I could see a soft blush on his cheeks as he let out a little squeak at my whip. “You dirty mare, I love you so much.”
“I love me too.” I said with that cheeky grin still plastered on my face. “But I love you more.” I nuzzled his muzzle and closed my eyes, taking in the scent and contact.
He giggled and softly shook his head as he kissed my nose. “You silly mare. Damn right I love you.”
I stood up and kept my eyes on his, getting lost in them the more I studied their beauty. “Shall we, love?”
He nodded softly and started walking. Seeing how we were both wearing his scarf, I couldn’t help but follow with him, trotting shoulder to shoulder through the pleasantly filled streets of various other life forms that came from many different dimensions to live here. From ponies, to Humans, to reptiles, to insectoids, to changeling races. We all agreed to live in harmony, and work together.
While we walked along, I let Dragon lead because he was the one with the mental list.
“I'm thinking... steak.” He mumbled as he thought.
My eyes lit up as a smile crept up on my lips. “Yes…” I said quietly with a quick - and not so subtle - victorious hoof pump.
He hummed softly as we made a turn away from the busy main street. “And potatoes…” he continued thinking out loud, but with an obviously large smile as he trailed on.
“Potatoes?” I asked, giving him a wry smile, to which he replied, looking back with that same look.
“PO-TAT-OES. Boil ‘em, mash ‘em, stick ‘em in a stew.” He gave a small chuckle, to which I joined him.
It ended with him bumping my shoulder. “Potatoes, with cheese, and onions and…” He paused and looked down at me.
“And Bacon!” He added with a delightful whisper, making my eyes grow bigger.
At that moment, I almost tackled him with hugs and kisses. But I did what I could to contain myself. In the excitement, I found myself pressed up against him tighter. This got another soft giggle out of him as he happily beamed at me.
“And what, pray tell, did I do to deserve such a feast?” I asked, looking him over with a gentle smile.
He smiled and gave his happy little hum. “You decided to take my hoof. The feasting comes with.”
He gently guided us through another turn, getting closer to the desired location. He then booped my snoot and whispered happily. “It's a package deal, love. You get a handsome stallion, and grand feasts.”
I stifled a giggle behind my forehoof. “And what do you get?”
He stopped the two of us in the middle of the not super crowded street and gazed deep into my eyes, making me blush a tiny bit.
“What do I get?” He looked at me, searching for what I didn't know. Perhaps I had something on my face? I swear, if I had coffee or tea stains in my coat again...
“I get the most amazing, beautiful mare not only in the whole of this wonderous station…” He paused for a second and a small smile broke across his lips. “But in the whole of the known and unknown universes. The most caring and loving creature ever to walk the stars.” He whispered softly to me.
I bit the tip of my forehoof as I felt my cheeks go a deep red, looking deep into his eyes. From there, I pressed my lips firmly against his, closing my eyes as they met.
I felt him hum softly as he kissed back at my lips, tender and sweet.
I wrapped a forehoof around the back of his neck, pulling him in a little closer and pushing deeper into the kiss, murring softly.
He held tight to my lips, repeatedly kissing me for what felt like ages until he moved away the tiniest amount. I opened my eyes again halfway.
Our lips just barely touching, I gazed back into his and whispered softly.
“Am I your star hearted mare?”
He gave the subtlest of nods and whispered in return, “Now, and forever. And when the last star dies, I'll have light and warmth from my Star Hearted Mare to guide me.”
I smiled softly and nuzzled him. “Remember, a part of that same star is inside you, too.” I gently ran a hoof along the fur on his chest, over his heart as I looked down at it. “I made sure I’d always be with you... in case…” My smile faltered, and I closed my eyes and shook my head, before taking a deep breath.
I felt his nose lean on mine and his warm breath over my muzzle. I opened my eyes and looked into his emerald oasis, before bringing my smile back. “Nevermind.”
He forced a small smile and whispered. “You will always be here, love. With me right by your side.”
I felt his large hoof gently slide up to where mine was over his chest, and he gave it a firm squeeze. “I won't ever let you go…'' I could see the faintest glint of a tear in the corner of his eye, but he blinked it away before it became anything more than that.
I held him tight for a moment, before letting go and nodding to him. “You’ll always have a piece of my soul with yours.” I whispered before clearing my throat and looking back down at his chest, patting it with care. “Shall we continue on our way, love?”
He gave a very short nod and moved back to my side, his soft fur pressing to mine as I took a soft breath. “Of course. Best not waste the day we have.”
I felt his arm wrap around mine as he held me close, and we began to walk anew.
~~~
“Afternoon, commander. Dragon.” The butcher said as we walked in, smiling at the two of us. He was a Human that had run the shop for some time. He and I started to know each other more when I went on a carnivore diet, several years back. Nothing but meat. Steaks, bacon, jerky; a lot of which were extra terrestrial in nature. “How goes the Skybridge?”
“Hey now, what have I said?” I replied with a smirk as I regarded the taller creature on the other side of the counter. “No talking about work when I'm off duty.”
He chuckled softly. “I got some fresh stock, so you got a lot of options. Just…” He covered his eyes and shook his head, speaking as if he had experienced something he wished he didn’t. “Please… don’t go buying the entire store this time. A lot of customers got angry when you did that, and I was the one to face the music.”
I grinned sheepishly as I regarded him. “S-sorry…”
He looked back at me and smiled. “It’s all good now.”
Beside me, Dragon chuckled as he regarded the glass case. “Don't worry. I'm the one needing meat today. And besides,” he turned to me and smirked. “She's already been scolded for the last time. She didn't get any more of her favorite meat.”
“Oh Goddess…” He smiled wider, before it became a small laugh. “Damn it, I don’t need to hear your sexual innuendos about meat. I still can’t keep a straight face when I say the word now, cause of you two talking about your bedroom activities here. This is my job, you know! People are starting to wonder why I burst into laughter when they say the word ‘meat!’”
I couldn’t help but burst into laughter myself, when I found out it was interfering with his career. He’d have to explain it to his customers sooner or later, lest he be listed as insane.
He deadpanned at the two of us for a moment.
Dragon chuckled and looked up at the Human, “What? You don’t like two ponies coming in talking about what they like doing with meat?”
“Sucking on it, sticking it in our mouth… licking the juices…” I said, keeping my eyes on the Human. “Shoving it inside us… THRUSTING it in, oh Goddess, yes… My legs are quivering just thinking about it!”
The butcher sighed deeply as he stared up at the ceiling. “Fucking… Okay, I’ll give you a discount if you stop talking like that here!”
Dragon adopted an innocent look and asked, “I thought everyone liked hearing about what happens in the kitchen? Especially with the best meat on the station.” He winked at me and added, “but I guess I'm the crazy one after all.”
“Nothing is better than Dragon’s meat.” I winked back and licked his cheek, to which the butcher covered his face with both hands.
“Please…” He said, trying his best to stifle the laughter he was attempting to hide. “Not again…”
I bent down, raising my rear to my Dragon. “Put your hot meat inside me!” I said with a grin. The scarf around us was lightly choking my neck, causing just a little more arousal.
I let out a stiff squeak as I felt Dragon’s magic against my pants, right over my happy place, which was already showing signs of my pleasure. “Mmmmmm. Rubbing my hot, steamy, firm piece of meat against you, juices pouring out everywhere while you help tenderize it…” He mumbled in a seductive tone as his magic frisked me. I felt his magic trace over my tits ever so lightly, teasing at the more sensitive areas. My moans weren’t an act, anymore…
“Guys, come on…” The butcher muttered as I heard a beep on the store’s intercoms, and the locks on the door latch so that no one else could get in and see this.
“Y-you hear that, baby? He wants you to cum on me.” I said with a deep seated desire laced in my voice. “I’d prefer it if you came inside, but I’m okay with licking up a mess.”
“WHAT!? NO! You know that’s not what I meant!” He blurted as he began to realize what he had done.
Dragon gave me a hard smirk as his magic pressed a little harder into my tits, making me give a deeper moan. “I'm all for showing off how much I love my baby.” He mumbled softly, his magic sliding around my pants and up my butt, before giving my dock a quick caress.
“Okay, if you stop this right now, I’ll give you whatever you want! Free of charge! I know how messy you two are through…” He shuddered in disgust. “... All the vivid details you two gave me… Not to mention the last experience with all this... Just please, stop this. I have a business to run!”
Damn it, I actually really wanted him to fuck me right then and there, but it’d have to wait…
I bit my bottom lip as I purred softly. “Mm… nnf… F-free?” I smirked and looked back at my love. “Sounds like a good deal to me.”
Dragon slowly shook his head while keeping his eyes locked on mine. “Damn… and here I was just getting her worked up too…” He gave me a wink and blew me a kiss. “But to be fair… it was a huge mess last time…” He softly chuckled as he gave me one last kiss with his magic and turned up to the butcher.
“You know what cuts she likes. Two of her favorites and a pound of Bacon.” Dragon directed to the butcher.
He nodded with a sigh of relief. “When I get back out here… I don’t want to see you two fucking, or her blowing you or anything…” He looked on skeptically as I pulled myself up straight, smiling and nuzzling into Dragon’s neck.
Dragon purred softly and nuzzled back. “You hear that love? He didn't say anything about if we could finish before he came back.” He said as he beamed at me and wiggled his eyebrows.
The man sighed and looked at his door to see it was locked, then up at the camera in the corner of the room. He blinked once, to which the camera powered down.
“You better clean up after, and be quick with it. If I come out here and you’re still doing it, I’m charging you three times what I priced this stuff…” With that, he turned and left for the room in the back.
I burst into laughter as he left, then turned to Dragon. “Challenge fucking accepted!” I shouted as I started sliding my hooves up Dragon’s thighs toward his thick, juicy horse cock. “Time for my second breakfast…”
With saddlebags filled with all the best and freshest of produce, not to mention our meat, Dragon and I trotted through the massive station. Through the sprawling market district we trotted, occasionally stopping to look through the windows of various shops, but not usually going inside.
Occasionally we would drop in and pick up ‘that special ingredient’ as Dragon put it, but it just looked like normal produce to me.
We made small talk as we passed from window to window, which led to a discussion of the various planets and moons we’ve ventured in the past, back before we met.
“Oh! Do you remember the planet with the green sunsets?” Dragon asked with a bright smile.
Slowly, I nodded, smiling nervously. “I remember getting a de-con level 6 because of it… Seriously, the radiation in that place…” I shuddered just at the memory.
He giggled and looked along our path before nudging us along a new corridor, with walls, ceiling, and flooring of reinforced glass. Stars surrounded us in every direction, and the planet this very foundation was built to protect stood strong as we hung in its orbit.
This place was void of any life, save for us. I looked around with curiosity etched on my face, before turning to Dragon. “Wait… I know this place.” My eyes lit up as a smile grew. “How did you find out about this?”
Dragon rolled his eyes with a bright smile. “Oh, you know. A pony has his sources.” then he giggled and looked out at the vast, infinite expanse before us.
“I like coming out here, when you're working and I have extra time. It's just so…” He took a deep sigh before continuing. “... inspiring.” He turned back to me and beckoned me over to where he stood with a nod of his head.
I moved closer and nuzzled his shoulder gently, before turning to the window that kept the vacuum of space from us. “Let’s keep going then, love…” I whispered, nipping at his ear a little. “I have something to show you…”
With that, I brushed past him and walked down the corridor, towards a large, steel door at the end. A ray of green light washed over my form as I approached, and a holographic message appeared over the door, before it started to unfold before me.
It wasn’t easy being here, but… it was time to move on...
‘Welcome back, Commander Bullet Storm. You have been gone for 178 years.’
He stood behind me as the door slid away to the sides, and I stepped through the opening to come across a large, clear room. No windows to see the outside. Just a sterile white, brightly lit room. I looked back at him and smiled, before nodding him to follow.
He did so, but I noticed he had a very curious look on his muzzle.
The door started to close behind him as I made my way to the very center of the room, and sat down with ease. I faced him, and for a while, our eyes met. I gave him a soft, caring smile, before closing my eyes and hanging my head down.
At once, I heard the familiar hum of lights and power start to fade to nothing. The flooring beneath me started to grow lighter, until I sat on emptiness. The air grew colder, but it wasn’t unbearable.
I opened my eyes again and lifted my head to see Dragon’s astonishment as the room was no more, as we were now in space. I was still sitting, but he stood there, looking around in every direction. No walls. No doors. No windows. We were in space, but didn’t suffer the vacuum. There was still sound however.
Technically, we were still in a room, but the tech here had a thing for making things seem real.
I couldn’t feel the floor beneath me, and evidently, from Dragon looking down at his hooves and lifting them, only to tap at where he stood, he couldn’t either.
After several more moments of looking around the lack of environment, Dragon finally looked up at me and asked with a curious smile, “what is this place? Where are we, or, morerather, where aren't we?”
I giggled softly and reached a hoof out for him. “Generations ago, I came here to get away from my life. This was my only escape. I own this place, but I haven’t really done anything with it for a long time. I don’t think it was happenstance that you chose to walk us down the same corridor that I personally owned.” I paused as he moved closer and took my hoof in his.
“I’m glad to share this place with you.” I lifted his hoof to my muzzle and pressed my lips to its smooth surface, closing my eyes. “Now, it’s yours as much as it is mine.”
After a second he slid his hoof under my chin, around my jaw, and to the back of my head before softly pulling me into a kiss. I happily met with his lips as we both closed our eyes and shared one of our many sacred kisses.
After a moment he released his grasp on me and whispered against my lips. “Thank you love. It's amazing.” He kissed me again before whispering with an obvious smile on his face, “as are you Bullet.”
I laughed softly under my whispery breath. “Likewise, my love.” I wrapped my hooves around, meeting at his back and holding him close. “My star hearted stallion…”
He gave his soft familiar purr as he smiled and traced his hoof down my neck, landing on my shoulder blade. He softly giggled with a bright smile on his lips. “That's my line silly.”
“Yeah, well… A part of my soul is fused with yours. Literally. So I get to say it, too.” I stuck my tongue out at him playfully, accidentally licking his snoot. I blushed and chuckled. “I meant to do that.”
He giggled, and a soft blush appeared on his cheeks. “Course you did love. Just like I meant to do this.”
Despite my quick reflexes he was able to dip in and lick my snoot back, then darted up and quickly kissed my forehead, returning to look in my eyes with a soft giggle.
A light shade of red stayed on my cheeks as I gazed into those eyes of his. If I didn’t have to blink, I’d have gotten lost in them for all eternity…
“I love you so much, my Dragon Storm. To the ends of the universe, and back.” I winked with a gentle smile, before adding in a soft whisper as I covered one side of my muzzle with a hoof, as if someone were listening. “And the universe is infinite…”
He giggled and gave another firm pur, pressing his cheek to mine and whispering “to the ends of the neverending expanse of love and care.”
“And straight back to our strong, star-filled hearts.”
He kissed my cheek right below my ear and whispered. “I love you sooo much, Bullet Storm.”
I sighed softly and closed my eyes, before pulling away a little bit. I felt something start to grow inside me. Something I wish wouldn’t have come up today. Especially now…
But being back here… it brought back memories… The last time I was here, was with her… Dream Catcher…
I noticed when I looked back at Dragon, he wasn’t smiling either. We shared a long, silent look. He knew what I was thinking about… We had talked about it a lot in the past…
He blinked a single knowing blink before slowly moving his head over and gently resting his nose on mine. I saw him close his eyes and I did the same as we lowered our heads till our horns just came to touch.
I felt him take a deep sigh before whispering ever so softly, and slightly pained. “I'm sorry love. Don't ever forget her…”
“I’m sorry, too…” I whispered, keeping my eyes closed. “But I love you. It hurts to bring her up when you’re here…” I took his hoof and pressed it to my cheek, leaning my head towards it a little. “With me…” I kissed his hoof gently. “It’s time to make new memories…”
I felt him smile softly as our noses were still together. “I’ve told you time and again, it's okay. No matter how far we go, and how old we get, we can never escape our past. I'm glad she took care of you.”
I felt him wiggle his nose against mine, causing me to open my eyes and see him staring back at me. A certain softness in his emerald eyes. “She took care of you so that we could be together, and be as strong and beautiful as we are. And for that I'm eternally grateful…” He gave a single blink before whispering. “Never forget her, love. Ever.”
I nodded slowly and lifted my head a little, cracking a hint of a smile. There was still a sadness in me about all this, but I was grateful for how understanding he was… “I think she would’ve loved to meet you. She’d be happy knowing you’re taking care of me.” I paused, and regret grew on my features as I averted my gaze. “There was a time, I wasn’t… all there…”
He gazed at me for a moment before wrapping his large hooves around my back, encasing my world in his soft green, comforting coat, filling me with warmth and love.
I closed my eyes and let my nose slide off of his and laid my head down against his chest, his hooves gently rubbing up and down my back as I let him hold me softly in his embrace.
“I’ve been there too, love.” He sighed softly as I felt his chin come to rest atop my mane. “Scattered like dust in the cosmos.” His voice was soft and gentle. “But we found each other, and made something new from those shattered pieces.”
I looked back up at him, smiling softly before kissing him on the cheek, close to his lips. “And I’m eternally grateful to have you in my life, Dragon. You’re everything I ever wanted.”
I felt his cheeks get warm as he shuffled a little bit, and his soft lips met my own to share a gentle kiss.
I closed my eyes at his touch, murring softly as I pushed into the kiss gradually. My tongue pushed its way in slowly, and soon met with his, only to wrestle with it playfully.
I heard him let out soft, yet happy grunts as his tongue wrapped around mine, his whole body pushed a little closer to mine as we played together within his mouth.
I pushed against him more, but before I realized how far I was pushing my body against his, he had fallen on his back. With his arms around my back, he had taken me with him, and I ‘pomfed’ on his chest, looking deep into his eyes with an apologetic smile.
“Oops…” I chuckled under my breath.
He giggled and wrapped his rear hooves around my hips, pressing the two of us together even more so. “No sorry, love.” He said as he leaned up and licked my nose.
Before he could pull away, I reached a hoof around the back of his neck, holding him up as I nipped at his tongue softly, sucking on it and closing my eyes. A soft moan escaped from my lips. “Mm…”
He let out a soft squeak but I felt his tongue slip further into my mouth as he started giving out soft moans and pants.
I felt his saliva start to flow with mine as my tongue kept his company. I was starting to get heated again, though…
After a short while, I gave it back to him, smiling softly as I gazed back into his lovely green eyes. Panting softly as I whispered, I brushed some of my mane from my eyes. “Shall we get all that food you bought prepped, love? It’s gonna be night soon.”
I could see a tiny bit of disappointment in his face but he smiled and nodded. “I think that's a good idea, love. We shouldn't have to do much before we can have our special date.”
I felt his emerald magic envelop my body as he gently lifted me off his chest, but instead of putting me down like he usually would, he lifted me about shoulder height off the ground.
“W-whoa, hey now!” I chuckled as I looked down at the empty space below us, flailing about a bit. I knew I was safe in this room, but looking down at a vast emptiness while being lifted off the ground had an unsettling nature about it. “Holy Dragon nuts, this isn’t what I was expecting!”
Dragon giggled as he rolled over and stood back up on his own hooves, still holding me up in the air. He gave my nose a soft nuzzle before levitating me over and delicately setting me on his back.
He turned his head around and again nuzzled my nose before happily whispering. “I've got you love. You’re safe with me. Let's head home.”
Hugging his barrel close, I nodded and kissed his neck lovingly, murring softly. I closed my eyes and triggered the mechanism in the room. When I opened my eyes again, it was back to being a white, brightly lit, empty, polished canvas. The door opened, and we set out to head back home.
~~~
After a nice, long, slow trot home resting upon my Dragon’s back, we had made it back home. We unloaded his saddlebags and got to work preparing our meal for later. We started prepping potatoes for baking, steaks for grilling, and mushrooms in gravy to top everything with. Cheese, sourcream, onions, bacon, goddesses outside, it was making me hungry. Dragon had to smack me back a few times as I kept trying to eat the bacon, but I still managed to get a few pieces in.
“So…” I said as my aura enveloped around a strip of bacon from Dragon’s left, while I stood on his right. “Where are we going?” I smiled sheepishly, but he bapped my nose once he saw my horn was lit. My smile quickly became a pout.
He broke off a tiny piece of the strip of bacon and held it to my lips as he put the big piece back under the lip of the basket.
“No spoilers.” He replied with a smile as I munched on the bacon he gave me.
He smiled and giggled softly as he motioned to the basket from which an aroma of a wonderful meal was coming from. “Mind grabbing the basket? Our trip is going to be a little crazy and I think it would be better if you carried the food.”
I nodded and trotted over to the basket, lifting it with my magic. As I did, I slid a strip of bacon from it and quickly scarfed it down, hoping he didn’t notice.
I turned to him with a smile as bacon grease and crumbs covered my lips, only to see he smirked at me.
Oh no… he noticed.
I tried to give the most innocent puppy dog eyes I could, but let out a loud squeak as I felt his magic give my butt a not so gentle smack. “Naughty, naughty…”
I blushed profusely as I licked the bacon bits off my muzzle, smiling again afterwards. “I-I can’t help it!” I said in a whining tone. “It’s just SO good!”
He shook his head softly as he walked over to my side. He leaned over and gave me a kiss.
I went to kiss him back but before I could, his magic wrapped around my barrel and gently hoisted me up into the air.
“Agh, no wings, NO WINGS!” I shouted as I flailed about. I lost my grip on the basket with my magic, but my forehooves quickly caught a hold of it, and I ended up hugging it close to my chest as I floated there, stuck in his magic’s aura.
After a short trip, I rested on his back and quickly grasped his neck to calm down.
I sighed with relief and closed my eyes, pressing my muzzle into his mane.
“Are you ready, love?” He asked, looking back at me and nuzzling his nose against my own.
“Ready to fly again? No!”
He giggled softly and shook his head. “Not quite flying, but you are going to want to hold onto everything tightly. This spell can get a little crazy.”
“Oh boy…” I muttered, smiling softly. “Well, crazy used to be my middle name.”
He let out a happy chuckle as he softly shook his head. “You’re so silly love. Hold on tightly, and close your eyes.”
He turned to face ahead of us but glanced back and added, “And no matter what, don’t open them until I say so.”
I nodded slowly before doing as he said; blocking my sense of sight, and relying on my other senses. As I held the basket close with my magic as I clung tight to his body, I heard his own magic start tingling. I gripped tighter to his chest and hips with my hooves, as well as clenching my eyes closed.
I heard a magic blast ring out, and my world went silent for a significant moment, before the same sound rang out, but in reverse, and in a moment’s notice, I heard water. The temperature dropped a lot but not to uncomfortable levels. The air itself was damp, but it had an oxygen-rich atmosphere.
The magic blast rang out through the environment sounding. It was hollow here, yet it also echoed.
“Are you okay, love?” Dragon asked.
I gave his body a soft squeeze to indicate that I was, but otherwise remained silent.
I felt the two of us begin to move through the strange new location, my body slowly bouncing along atop his own. If it weren't for him, I would have been panicking a little, but he knew what he was doing, and I trusted him. I had a few problems of my own in the past that gave me claustrophobia on a small scale, but I trusted him more than anything.
“H...how far is it?” I asked apprehensively as I felt some cold, moist surfaces brush against my shoulders and flanks.
“A little more love. I could get close, but not all the way.” He said as his head moved around, gently nudging my head along with his movements.
Occasionally I felt little droplets of water fall across my head and back. The water was cold, matching the rest of the surroundings.
I began to notice something as we kept going. The air was starting to get warmer, and much more humid. I wanted to ask if we were there, but I held my tongue and listened to the echo of dropping water.
“Almost there love, just a little farther.” Dragon said, an excitement building in his voice, causing excitement to replace some of my anxiety as he kept trotting.
After a few more steps Dragon stopped. “Alright love, let me take the basket.” He said softly as I heard his magic light up.
“Do you have it, love?” I asked in a slightly panicked tone, keeping my eyes closed tight.
“I have it. Just a few more seconds, then you can open your eyes.” He replied softly.
With that, I let go of the basket and let my horn dim.
I heard his magic for seconds before it too vanished, and we were left in a natural silence. There was an occasional drip of water against standing pools, but otherwise, it was nearly devoid of sounds.
“W… where are we, love?” I asked softly as I kept a tight grip of his body.
Instead of answering, I felt us slowly move forward. I could hear Dragon’s hooves slip into some water as I felt us get a little lower.
“Boo?” I reiterated.
Again, I was greeted with silence, but now I could hear him pushing water with all four of his legs, and within just a second, I felt a very warm water touch the tips of my hooves.
“This is a place that I found a very long time ago. Buried beneath a sprawling megacity are a series of geothermal caves sealed away from the civilization above.” Dragon said, his voice calm and soothing, much like the angelic race that served my Goddess.
We kept going and the water quickly moved up his body till it was up to my chest as well. I began to feel weightless. My claustrophobia was starting to die down ever so slowly once I felt like we had come across an opening. I didn’t feel so crammed up, now.
“Okay love. Let go and open your eyes.” Dragon turned to me and said softly, his nose just a breath away from mine.
I opened my eyes, but stayed glued to his body. Looking around, I found myself in a cave that was pooled up with water. Its ripples glowed along the cave’s ceiling, and various flora shined with it. The light it was producing was a soft white intermixed with separate veins of emerald green, casting a warm, soft light throughout the pool.
At that point, I gently released my grasp and floated beside my love, looking around in astonishment. “Wow…” I said under my breath, my mouth hanging open in wonder. “H-how did you find this place…? It’s… It’s breathtaking.” I laughed quietly as a smile crept up on my lips, looking around.
He smiled as his eyes idly wandered around the various plant life clinging to nearly every surface above and below the water, some making light, while others fed off it. “Yes… you are…”
I felt his hoof reach out and touch mine, causing me to look back down at him; a soft rosy blush on his cheeks grew as he smiled and gazed at me.
I inched closer to him, taking his hooves in mine and looking deep into his eyes as I did almost every day of my life. My forehead pressed against his, and our horns crossed with each other.
He was breathtaking… me on the other hoof, I was just…
“Breathtaking as well, Boo.” Dragon whispered, interrupting my thoughts.
“Mind reading is the oldest trick in the book!” I said with a grin, splashing a bit of water at him.
He giggled and pulled me close enough that our noses touched together. “Maybe so, but that doesn't stop me from having fallen in love with the most amazing mare in the unknown universe.”
My rear legs occasionally rubbed against his as I tread water, trying to stay at its surface while Dragon was doing the same.
“You make me the happiest mare in the vast infinite of every dimension.” I said in a near whisper, before kissing the tip of his nose. He ran his hoof behind my ear, gently brushing the black and white feather as he kept his eyes on mine. His touch alone made my heart melt… Er… the machine that represented my heart…
He was my soulmate… We were meant for each other. And we had crossed ENTIRE UNIVERSES just to find each other.
I was never letting go of him. Ever.
“You are mine, and I am yours.” I continued, to which he countered.
“Until the end of time.”
“And beyond.” I finished; both of us smiling fondly.
We fell to silence, the natural sounds of the cave the only thing gracing our ears while our noses stayed pressed together; hooves wrapped around each other as I took in his details.
Green emerald eyes met mine as I gazed longingly into the breathtaking windows of his soul. My white coat brushed against his in a never ending motion as we both worked to stay above the water. Our manes were soaked, therefore gluing to our coats. The soft white and green bioluminescent light played along our coats, giving us an almost ghost-like glow as we tread water, keeping our gaze locked to each other.
A black and white strand of my mane dropped over my right eye for a moment. I was about to brush it back when I saw him move his nose closer to me. Before I could ask what he was doing, he brushed the loose strand back with his muzzle. My heart caught in my chest as his warm breath tickled the wet fur around my neck. I closed my eyes to the loving sensation I would never grow tired of.
I gave a soft hum as I felt my entire body get warm purely from the sensation. I felt myself moving a little closer, my legs coming in contact with his for longer as his warm breath moved down my cheek. I could feel my hooves tighten around his shoulders the closer he got to my lips. As soon as our lips touched, I could have sworn my breath stopped completely. I felt his softly press to mine. I pushed into him gently, keeping my eyes closed as they locked with each other.
I knew this feeling between us all too well. This was love. Real, pure, invincible love that linked two hearts together to become one undying beat.
I felt his hooves idly move along my back as he stayed pressed into our kiss and savoring the moment, making it last through an unending moment.
I was stuck in this moment. Time didn’t exist for me here. I was lost to it, and I never wanted to be found. Dragon was my universe. When he was with me, nothing else mattered.
I pushed even deeper into our kiss, murring softly beneath my breath as my tongue instinctively began to slide in. Before it could make it past his lips, however, his teeth blocked access, and I cracked my eyes open.
He backed up just a few inches, giving a quick wink and cracking a smile.
“That’s for dessert, love.” He whispered as his magic lit up around his horn, some of the plants along the walls reacting and producing a brighter green light as he levitated the basket over near us.
He giggled as my face fell to a soft pout and he shook his head.
Damn it...
“I love you so much, my star hearted mare.”
I looked up at him and chuckled softly under my breath. “I love you too, my star hearted stallion. So very much.”
He smiled softly at me as two plates, and two sets of cutlery levitated out of the basket enveloped in his emerald glow.
I took a sniff, and the amazing smell of my favorite food assaulted my senses. Fuck… bacon… MEAT!
“Easy there, Boo. Save the drool for later.” Dragon giggled as my eyes caught sight of his magic on the side of the cave. Within his grasp were two large, flat leaves, emitting a soft glow, even after he plucked them from the mother plant and set them in the water. He then set the plates on the leaves, letting them drift along the surface of the water around us, and the ‘main’ course levitated out, filling the cave with an even stronger scent.
I was definitely going to have to go after a different meat later on…
He went all out with this one! Mashed potatoes and gravy, bacon, steamed vegetables, bacon, grilled steak, MORE bacon… Oh, and did I forget to mention the bacon?
B A C O N !
Life’s gift to the universe! Apart from Dragon, of course. But he was all mine.
After the two plates were piled high with food - and bacon - Dragon looked up at me, a soft smile upon his face which made me blush a little.
I was about to speak when he inched closer to my muzzle again, staying locked with my eyes; his beautiful smile filling my world, before whispering ever so gently…
“... Happy one year anniversary, my beautiful, shining star...”

MMBK:
Funny story about this fic.
This originated from a certain little RP between our OCs who ended up becoming canon lovers. We wanted to recapture (and reimagine) the date they had, and so we wrote this together. I had a lot of fun writing this piece with him. Dragon and Bullet are a fantastic relationship. I’m eternally grateful to have her with another person’s OC. She deserved the love, and now she has it.
When we had these two characters meet, they just… clicked.
If you, the reader, happen to also be a writer, you’ll understand what I mean by that. Sometimes characters (and stories) write themselves. Bullet is one of these cases, as are many of my creations.
That’s how you know something is real.
You might have a set path for a character, but they end up controlling themselves after a while, and choosing their own actions.
That’s what happened with this story.
We had no intention of adding anything sexual to this fic, but their sexual nature is a part of their personality. Even though we tried to avoid it, it happened anyways.
We… stopped trying to avoid it after the second sexy times adventure. :P
The song that Bullet started singing a bit of in this story is Meet Me in a House of Love, by Cut Copy. It kinda became this couple's song. If you like modern day music artists that go back to an 80s vibe with their songs, then Cut Copy is the place to go. You'll thank me later. ;)
“-and then, Charger, there’s these things called black holes. They’re big, they’re mean, and they’re strong. They are the masters of sucking! Not even I can suck as good as them, and let me tell ya, I am great at sucking! I’m fuckin’ Kirby up in this bitch!” - Bullet Storm, Radio Static
Dravakiirm:
There is something magical about writing about two characters who just mesh together so beautifully and these two fit each other so amazingly that the story mostly wrote itself. All the way from the deep heartfelt love, down to the rampant sex jokes, everything just felt natural and fluid. Almost like these two characters were made for each other.
I tend to write with very few characters, so that I can develop them MUCH farther, and this piece is an example of that. With only two (and a half) main characters you get a super concentrated look into their personality. Maybe more than you bargained for even.
Bullet Storm is such a complex and vast character. Her personality is so vast and immense and in a way, Dragon isn't anywhere near as well thought out as her, but in the course of the RP’s and conversations his history was built around her, and she became the biggest part of his history.
Fun fact, Dragon Storm, the name was given before him and Bullet Storm really had a lot going on together, and Bullet’s name was finalized long before the two of them met (which I found funny) and, Fun Fact #2, Dragon is about 3 times older than Bullet.
This story gives just a small insight into their lives, the crazy goings on that they have, and it feels so real. I hope that you, the reader, enjoyed a peek into their life.
And lest we forget, the butcher that can’t talk about meat anymore. R.I.P.
