The shadow pony was hiding in the Everfree Forest, spying on the ponies. He had enjoyd the crusaders little tyranny rule. Shadow pony continued to stare into the eye's of the ponies. It was a normal day in Ponyville, sunny day the fillies and colts playing with each other, it was a perfect day. The shadow pony walked backwards until he was out of sight, not that anypony saw him to begin with. Shadow pony started descending until he was black smoke, and was kind of gliding his way to his hideout. He continued gliding until he was inside a cave, the same one that Spike went to when he ran away from home. The shadow pony turned into his smoke-pony form. A dragon with green scales and orange fangs was sleeping but woke up when a chilling wind hit him, it wasn't a normal chill wind either, no, this was darker. The dragon woke up and stared back at a pair of white eye's. The dragon became wide eye'd and shot upwards.
"What do you think you're doing in my cave?" The dragon asked, trying to hide his fear.
"I'm taking over you're pathetic little cave." Shadow pony said, with malice.
The dragon launched at him, but Shadow pony hit him with one of his tentacle arms, wich caught the dragon for a few moments. The dragon struggled until he freed one of his arms and used his claws to cut Shadow pony, wich only resulted in Shadow pony laughing at him. The dragon got a hold of the shadow pony's hoof and somehow threw him into one of his many piles of gems. Shadow pony merely laughed, because he can't feel the pain the same way ponies do, some dragons were weaker while some were stronger, so it was hard to say, but Shadow pony would say that king Bahamut would be a challenge. Shadow pony gave himself wings and flew up. Shadow pony then launched himself at the stunned dragon, the dragon tried to burn him with fire but that didn't work...... At all. Shadow pony pinned the dragon down and let a weapon inside of him stab the dragon right in the chest. The dragon had a look of surprise and shock and breathed his last moments, until he finally died. Shadow pony stood up and grabbed the sword with his hoof and put it inside his ooze like body.
"An absolute disappointment. He couldn't fight like a real dragon, oh well not every dragon can be king Bahamut." Shadow pony said, with disappointment in his voice.
Shadow pony looked around and found an opening were the gems weren't laying. He walked over there and used his dark magic to create a throne were the neck supporter had four pony skulls. The throne looked like something Lucifer would sit on. Shadow pony sat down on his throne and looked over the ridiculous amount of gems, who needed this much anyway?
"I'm gonna need to create an army. Even tho, that I could take on the princesses, well except Twilight Sparkle, even tho, this Twilight isn't an alicorn I can still sense it. Her magic is as strong as an alicorn's maybe even stronger. I need to vanquish the elements of harmony, even tho, they are 'destroyed' I don't believe it. The tree of harmony can just create them again. I hope the ponies are ready for a blood bath." Shadow pony said, with sadistic glee.
Shadow pony was thinking of the time he was "vanquished" by Starswirl the bearded. What Starswirl didn't know was that, he had split his soul. Even tho, Shadow pony doesn't have a soul soul, he could still split parts of himself. If a normal pony would do so with their own soul, then they would scream in agony and pain like nothing before, but since he was made out of shadow he couldn't feel pain like that.
Shadow pony wondered what it was like, to feel pain. He would like to feel it like his enemies felt it, just to feel the intense pain cursing through his body and enjoying it.
Shadow pony looked at the sun through a tiny cave opening from the ceiling and growled. He wished that there was darkness and despair again. Hearing fillies and colts scream for their parents and Shadow pony "helping" them find their parents. Blood would spill down the streets, no one would question his authority. Shadow pony chuckled evily, remembering all the times when he fought Starswirl the bearded, who always lost, because Shadow pony was several thousands of years more experienced in battle.
"There was alway's something about Starswirl that I liked. Probably was his courage he had to face him, and admit defeat. Then again there are many tails were Starswirl is said to have had never admitted defeat, but that was most likely because of the fillies and colts. Mwuhahahahaha!! Like he would be able to stop me." Shadow pony said, with confidence.
Shadow pony decided to strike within a week, on The Cutie Mark Crusaders military base. He could use their deadly skills against Equestria and revenge against those who wronged them even tho, those ponies are in limbo.
"When I free them from limbo, I'll make them see the destruction and tell them it was their fault, wich will make them feel terrible. Hopefully he believes it, Starswirl never did love anypony as friend's as fellow creature pony, or whatnot." Shadow pony said, showing a hint of anger.
Shadow pony decided to sleep for a few hours so he left his throne and went deep into the cave were more pile of gems showed. Eventually he found a room within the cave that was pitch black. Perfect room for the shadow pony. Shadow pony could actually see everything, no matter how dark it is even in limbo, wich is why he never wants to return to limbo because of the things he saw, Faust their creator and her anger was so intense he thought that he would die of her anger.
He walked into the room and used his magic to summon a king sized bed. He liked the covers wich was two swords crossing each other with two white eye's staring at Shadow pony. Shadow pony went over the covers and went to sleep.

Ever since the CMC signed the peace treaty and said that Bás was Ponyville and was apart of Equestria again, things had been looking good. Some ponies apologised for how they treated the CMC and said that they deserved it. Applebloom wasn't entirely forgiven, considering what she did to Big Mac. Granny Smith tho, was surprisingly scared of being angry at Applebloom, wich probably is her PTSD because of the thing's The Cutie Mark Crusaders soldier's did. Applejack was openly angry but didn't blame Applebloom, saying it was her fault that she drove her in that direction. Applebloom would stay every other week at the farm, but it wasn't often she mostly sleept in her million bits apartment. She gave it to herself and paid rent of course wich wasn't much considering what she earned a total of each month.
Sweetie Belle was forgiven and given hundreds of cloths and gems as apologies. Sweetie Belle also owned an apartment as did Scootaloo. Sweetie Belle had moved into her apartment after the war was over and their ruling came to an end. Her apartment was huge! There were ten total rooms. A kitchen, living room, two bathrooms, her bedroom and five guest bedrooms. She also had a pool with sunbeds. Yep, she loved life. She still went to school and worked after school. Silver Spoon was terrified for her life every time she saw the CMC. She paid them money not to hurt her, a couple of days ago tho, she was threatened if she sent more money not to hurt her then she would disappear. She obliged and didn't send money for her own "protection" she showed respect to them.
Scootaloo was having problems with Rainbow Dash alway's trying to talk to her, Scootaloo had been angry over other reasons. Rainbow had apologised during the whole dictation fiasco but Rainbow had said something that even made the main six minus Rainbow wonder if she really ment anything at all. Rainbow had said, that Scootaloo was nothing more than a monster for simply putting Rainbow into a concentration camp. Scootaloo had defended herself saying something that made all the towns ponies cry out of shame. She had said it was their own fault for making them do so, and that Rainbow broke their laws wich lead to her ending up in those camps. Rainbow didn't have a comeback, in matter of fact she looked a little bit angry but Scootaloo didn't know who she then WAS angry at.
The days in Ponyville flew by without any problems, Applebloom wanted to go to the Apple family gathering that they did every hundred moon, but she had not gotten an invitation. Applebloom wondered if she should go anyway's but she had a lingering thought that maybe she should just stay away from the Apples. She knew it was today the gathering was happening, so she decided to put on a costume and went out.
Applebloom walked into the Everfree Forest, deep enough not to be seen but also close enough to see the farm and hear what the ponies said. She saw Sweet Apple Acres and saw her cousins and family members. She walked closer but not close enough to be seen. They were talking about the last few months about the tyranny rule. The other Apples were shocked about what had happened.
"Say, were is Applebloom? If you don't mind me asking that is." Braeburn asked, curious to were she is.
"She is in her expensive apartment, doing Faust knows what." Granny answered wich surprised Applejack.
"But why isn't she here? Shouldn't she be here?" Braeburn asked, thinking how Applebloom wasn't here and confused as to why.
"Braeburn, I think it's best if we left here be. She visited me and Granny when she had taken over, she said that she wanted nothing to do with us. Tartarus she hasn't even donated bits! She only sends her soldier's and that's it! She made it clear that she didn't want to be an apple so why bother?" Applejack exclaimed a bit angrily.
"So in other words she's not welcome here?" Braeburn asked, wanting it to be confirmed.
Applejack was a bit taken back by the question. Applejack pondered on the question, Applejack wouldn't mind Applebloom being here, but Applebloom made it clear that she didn't want to be an Apple. She continued to ponder on the question until she responded with.
"I don't righty know, it's just she has made it perfectly clear that she doesn't want to be an Apple wich is why I never sent her the invite." Applejack said, with wonder.
"If you want me to, I could go and get her." Braeburn said, with confusion as he starred at Applejack who was in deep thought.
Applebloom felt a little bit hurt. She is an Apple! Nothing else, or half pear to be exact, but she is an Apple! Her name is Applebloom so why wouldn't she be an Apple?
She walked out of her hiding spot and took away her costume. She had her military general uniform hiding under her costume. The uniform was expensive black pants with black button shirt and and black djacket with medals on her left side shoulder. She had an hat that was black that had a white pony with an rifle aiming on the side. She walked up on the farm when she was in earshot she said loudly.
"A'm I late?" Applebloom asked, without sounding worried.
Everyone turned and saw Applebloom and halfly gasped. Applejack had an unreadable expression on her face. Braeburn was obviously delighted seeing his little cousin.
Applejack was in deep thought. 'What is she doing here? She has made it clear that she didn't want to be an Apple!' Applejack thought.
"Applebloom, what are you doing here? This is for Apples only!" Granny said, with a hint of anger but not surprisingly much.
"Uh, I A'm an Apple Granny? Why did you think I came here?" Applebloom asked, catching both Granny and Applejack so of guard Faust thought that they would fall.
There was a very long silence in the air. The family members looked between Applejack Granny and Applebloom, as if it was some sort of stand off. Applebloom was still hurt by her sisters words, saying that she wasn't an Apple. Sure she said it after they won the coup, but she regretted it afterwords only Faust and Celestia knows.
"Applebloom, I'm sorry but this is for family only, so if you could please leave." Applejack said, with sorrow. Applejack didn't mean what she said, but she wanted to see how Applebloom would respond.
"Applejack, I'm not going anywhere. This is my family to, if anyone should leave then it's you. You were the reason I left, the reason I took over Ponyville by force! And also the reason as to why Big Mac's dead." Applebloom said, with a hint of malice.
Everyone was quiet. Applejack expected her to say something, but not something like that . It was unheard of. But since Applebloom doesn't know that Applejack was testing her, then Applejack couldn't say in her mind that it was unfair, but test or not Applebloom had a point.
"I agree with Applejack Ms Bloom, this is for family only! You left this family the day you took over Ponyville, you said, you wanted nothing to do with us, so turn you're butt around and leave!" Granny said, with anger surprising everyone even Applejack.
Applebloom started laughing darkly catching everypony of guard. She continued laughing until she composed herself and said with a hint of "I know everything voice"
"Those were the words Big Mac told us, when the whole of Ponyville shunned us, not those exact words but similar." Applebloom said, with a menacing smile.
Granny felt her self freezing. Applebloom was right, Granny was doing the exact same thing that Big Mac did when Gabby Gums were on and about. She felt herself become angry at herself for doing the same thing that Big Mac did.
"But, since no one of you wants me here, I guess I'll just leave." Applebloom said, smiling and turning around walking away. On the inside she was crying tears of sadness.
Braeburn ran up to Applebloom stopping her from going anywhere. He didn't want his cousin to go, Tartarus if Granny was going to treat his cousin like that, then he was taking her to Appleloosa.
"Get out of the way Braeburn, I don't want to hurt you. Much." Applebloom said, menacingly.
Everypony flinched at that. They had seen Applebloom angry but never this angry.
Applebloom smacked Braeburn in the head with her hoof. Everyone gasped including Applejack and Granny. Braeburn looked at Applebloom and said.
"I'm not moving an inch Applebloom." Braeburn said, with firmness in his voice.
Applebloom pulled out a pistol from her djacket and aimed it at Braeburn. He still stood were he stood without fear. The others behind Applebloom shouted for Braeburn to do as Applebloom says.
"Get you're self out of the way." Applebloom said, with genuine anger shown now.
"No."
"Why are you doing this? Get out of the way so I can enjoy myself, Apple filth!" Applebloom said, making everypony drop their jaws.
Braeburn looked stunned after hearing this, but he did not move as Applebloom wanted.
"If you wanna leave, then leave after being with us for a few hours." Braeburn said, with a smile.
"Fine as long as you shut up those hours." Applebloom said, not showing any expression on her face.
"Deal." He said.
They walked back to the family gathering and enjoyd themselves for a few hours. Unbeknown to them. The shadow pony was looking at them from afar and observed.
"seems as tho, they have problem in paradise, just six days left my slaves!" Shadow said, with hateful glee

There was alway's something wrong with the CMC when they had their first speech, after they had taken over Ponyville. Twilight had noticed something was...... of about them. She couldn't explain it, it just, something was wrong. She didn't know what was wrong tho, wich is why she has been close to just rip her mane of, (atleast a couple of times). She was walking around her apartment in circles thinking about all possibilities of what may have happened. None of them made sense tho, she had a small theory that they maybe were possessed, but that wouldn't explain the real angered that they showed. When you're possessed, then anger isn't You'rse, but what has possessed you. The anger the CMC showed were their own, but there has been stories from Starswirl the bearded stating, "if the pony or creature already has anger and hatred then it'll be harder to detect the possession of what has possessed pony or creature."
It didn't make sense! If the CMC were possessed shouldn't Twilight have noticed it? Doubt started to fill her head and a thought came to her, wich she had to realise maybe was the case
Perhaps they were never possessed.
Spike's Apartment
Spike was sitting on his couch reading a book about weapons that The Cutie Mark Crusaders had invented. They didn't go into detail on how they had gotten them just that they had "created" them.
Spike didn't know what to believe anymore. He had heard from his buddies the other day that, Applebloom had showed up to the Apple family reunion and caused a little bit rocus there. Spike felt weirded out, he wasn't an Apple but he had heard Applebloom say that she wasn't an Apple anymore. Spike had heard her when he had protection duty. He had stood outside the door and overheard the conversation. Spike didn't want to ask himself why she said what she said, it's her life after all.
Spike closed the book and looked around the room a little bit and dived into his thought's. He was thinking of reconnecting with Twilight and the others. After Spike had told the mane six what he did as a job, they weren't angry with him but they weren't exactly happy either. Thing's then escalated and it ended with Spike saying hurtful thing's, thing's that made the main six almost cry because of the shame, even Rainbow Dash. He told them about the abuse he had suffered over the years because of them, he then continued onto the suffering he felt of what Pinkie and Rainbow did wich was hurtful pranks. Rainbow had retorted saying that it was nonsense. Spike then asked, Rainbow if he had pranked her with shooting her wing, if she would see it as a prank. She went quiet after that. After that day he left them and never looked back. He did talk sometimes to Zecora and Fluttershy.
Spike came back to reality when he heard his phone signal go of. He picked it up with his claw, the phone was beside him. He pressed on the green button and accepted the call, it was an unknown number so he thought that it was some marketing company.
"Hello, Spike the Dragon here." Spike said, with a slight irritated voice.
"Hey Spike, it's me Twilight! Look I'm sorry for what me and the other has done to you and I know we can't take it back, but I was hoping if you could come by my apartment around eight? Is that okay with you?" Twilight asked, hoping he could shed some light on somethings.
Spike didn't respond at all, he didn't know what to do. He was happy that she called him, but also furious that she did because, it was evident in her voice that she wanted something, wich infuriated him to no end. Twilight took his silence as a no and said, goodbye.
Spike hung up the phone, lost in his thought's. He was thinking that perhaps it was time to reconcile. He had done it with Fluttershy to some extent, but not the others. He still remembered how angry he was the day he said he had joined the army. Rarity was shocked and said that he was just a baby. That was one of the final straws he slapped her so hard, he thought the neighbor heard it. Rainbow had got up in his face, and asked him what that was for. Spike then proceeded to explain the age of Twilight and how it was technically just a four year difference. Rarity became so quiet afterwords that everyone literally forgot that she was there. Spike then accused Twilight saying had she not used her magic on him, then he would atleast look older. Twilight felt incredible guilt, she realised that he was right. Applejack saw that Spike spoke nothing but the truth, wich was exactly why she was scared of even saying anything.
Fluttershy was accused of seeing Spike as a mere pet. He told her he had never been more offended in his life, and he was a dragon ! She looked shocked and tried to explain herself, but she realised that he was right. She wanted to apologise to Spike, but she knew that he didn't want to hear it. He had walked out of the apartment so angry, even the ruler of Tartarus would stop and double check. That was the last time he spoke to them as a whole group, but he did reconcile kind of with Fluttershy.
A few hours went by and he decided to head to Twilight, he knew they would need insight on whatever she was looking for. He walked out of the apartment and locked it. He walked down the narrow hallway until he saw three exits, one for the elevator, staircase and the parking garage.
He went into the parking garage, and walked until he reached the end of it. The car was made from the old "regime" and actually only five cars of the model he has was ever made. The car was black, with limousine windows and purple tires. The purple tires were luckily dark purple so nopony noticed the weirdness in it. He clicked on the "open" button and got in the drivers seat.
He drove out of the garage and headed for Twilight's place. He reached it after five minutes of driving and parked his car outside the apartment complex. He walked into the "lobby" and headed for the stairs. He walked until he reached the top floor. He walked die the hall but had his head up so he saw the numbers. He finally reached door four hundren and eleven and knocked. After thirty seconds, a purple mare opened the door and was surprised by the sight of Spike.
"Spike, what are you doing here?" Twilight asked, surprised.

Spike stood in front of Twilight Sparkle, outside of the door to her apartment. He had come here after the phone call he had received a few hours ago. He understood why she had asked that question what are you doing here? He didn't exactly know why he came either. He looked into her eye's not showing emotion even in his eye's.
"You called, you obviously want information right?" Spike asked, a little bit annoyed by the question.
Twilight wasn't surprised. He had grown up with her, he can tell just by the tone in her voice that she would need something or wanted to know something. She looked into his eye's trying to read his body language, but ever since he left and joined the army, he had never shown any emotion.
"Of course, come on in." Twilight said, still having a hint of surprise in her voice.
Spike walked in as Twilight closed the door behind him. She then lead him into the living room where he then sat in a chair facing the large couch where he assumed the girls would be.
Twilight tried making small talk wich halfly succeeded, they mostly spoke about books, the weather, the invention's and so on. Eventually they heard a knock on the door. Twilight got up and opened the door showing the main five. They walked inside the apartment and they all froze minus Twilight. The main five weren't angry, just surprised at seeing Spike here.
They sat down quietly down on the couch. When everypony were there and were ready, Spike started to speak.
"I take it you got the call from Twilight?" Spike asked, receiving nods in response. "Well Twilight, I a'm curious myself as to why you summoned me here, but I have a feeling I already know the reason." Spike finished, with a long sigh.
"Well you see, I have had suspicion that perhaps the CMC were possessed, by something." Twilight said, looking at her friend's dropped jaws. Spike wasn't surprised, in matter of fact one of his friend's who joined the police after the coup, Thunderlane had reported a file to The Cutie Mark Crusader of a pony claiming that the CMC were possessed.
"Well, you're not the first pony to have had that assumption." Spike said, he was surprised that Twilight wasn't shocked by it.
The other ponies in the room didn't know how to react, it wasn't impossible but it still felt weird, were they really possessed? If so what possessed them? Spike maybe had that information but they weren't surprised if he didn't.
"Spike, do you know if the CMC were possessed?" Twilight asked, hoping to find an answer as soon as possible.
"No, but I did hear a rumour that was quickly quited down. It was a rumour saying that The Pony Of Shadows or Shadow Pony had possessed them." Spike said, with calmness in his voice.
The main six looked like Spike just said that the world would end in a few minutes. Applejack looked sick, really really sick. Rarity looked like she was about to faint. Rainbow Dash looked as if she was told she was the slowest pegasus in Equestria. Fluttershy looked as if the final day had just happened. Pinkie Pie's hair deflated and she looked outside the window and prayed to Celestia that whoever this shadow was, was kind. Twilight looked at Spike in disbelief. Spike couldn't blame any of them. It had made sense to him and the rest of the military because sometimes they would get incredibly...... violent.
"Spike, the shadow pony is not real. I don't know where you got that idea from but why would you say that?" Twilight asked, in disbelief.
"Twilight, I said it was a rumour but if you're asking if I believe in it, then yes I do." Spike explained, irritated.
The room became eerily silent after what Spike had said. Twilight was still in disbelief, but after thinking very very hard about it. She came to the realisation that the shadow pony most likely existed. They had faced so many creatures that were said to be mere myths.
"Spike, if you wouldn't mind me asking, why do you believe in the existence of mr shadow pony?" Fluttershy asked, curious but also scared.
Spike sighed. The Cutie Mark Crusaders regime, was no more. It couldn't hurt telling the main six about what happened, wich made him believe on that day forward that they were possessed.
"A year ago, when we lived under their rule, there was sometimes day's were they themselves would take in labour camp prisoners, specifically Diamond Tiara. I was instructed to drive her to the parliament has to take her to the prison down below. I did what I was told and put her into a cell. I informed them of the arrival wich made them happy..... I guess. They came down, but something was.... of. Their eye's including the white part turned black like demon eye's of anger or hatred. They walked into the room as I left. They started speaking in a deep demonic-like voice wich sent me shivers down my spine." Spike finished, explaining.
The element bearers were shocked by what he had said. They expected it to be some stupid story, like 'they were super angry' but this? This was way worse than they thought.
"Yes, it was a government secret. But since they don't rule anymore, it's not really important." Spike explained, with irritation.
Twilight was lost in complete utter thought. She didn't know wether to believe Spike or not. Applejack was a walking lying detector, but Spike was in the military they were practically trained to never ever reveal any emotion. She looked at him in the eye's and saw nothing but the truth.
Spike sighed as he got out of the chair and went to the front door pausing a second until he looked back to see the ponies starring at him in bewilderment.
"Be careful if you want to confront them. They might not even know that they are possessed." Spike said, before he took his leave.
The main six just nodded, understanding what he thought on the matter. They couldn't just walk up in confrontation, because Spike just revealed that they might not know that they were even possessed, for all they knew it might be their real feelings.
"Trouble alway's happens. This Spike is correct, they didn't know about it. It doesn't matter now tho, since it's five day's left until the blood spills again. Shadow pony said, in satisfaction.

The soul of the shadow pony
Splitting you're soul is very painful. So painful that you might wish death upon you're self because of the pain. When you're an entity slash shadow, you would expect it not to be painful, oh how wrong Shadow Pony were. He doesn't have a soul, soul, but he does have abilities as if he was a soul, but with dark magical powers.
Before The Shadow Pony was banished by the Pillars. He had split his soul ten times and hid it in different objects. He then hid them around Equestria, even in parts that would be seen as unthinkable. Shadow Pony had never felt so much pain in his life and he was an entity like creature! He's not even suppose to feel that type of pain, or any pain for that matter.
Shadow Pony walked around his cave thinking of different strategies, to commit his coup. He had been found by the CMC in a cave in The Badlands, there was a black crystal inside wich was a piece of Shadow Pony. They didn't know what it was, so they shot at the crystal, destroying it totally. The Shadow Pony was actually grateful for the gesture, since they had freed him. He then as his "thank you" had possessed them and corrupted their minds, or well corrupt the last piece of their sanity . He watched their memories and saw their hurt and betrayal. He smiled at this and helped them with their coup. He became the evil voice in their head's.
Shadow Pony chuckled at the evil deeds the fillies committed. A thousand years ago, their deeds would be seen as the most evil acts in pony history. Then those ponies would execute them. Shadow Pony burst out laughing, his laugh was menacing and cold. He didn't laugh because of the killing part. He laughed because those ponies would by law technically be hypocrites. Starswirl had actually been one of the few who had pointed it out, together with the Pillars of course. Hypocrite, that was all Starswirl was, a hypocrite. He understood why the other Pillars followed him, because Starswirl is manipulative. Shadow Pony couldn't help but laugh.
He remembered the moment when he told the Pillars in limbo, how he could see Faust her angels and how he also had split his soul multiple times. Their faces were priceless, but oh, Starswirls face! He looked like Shadow Pony just told him Starswirl had destroyed Equestria! Shadow Pony would alway's remember his facial expression, fear .
Shadow Pony walked up towards his throne and lost himself towards his thought's. He was thinking of way's to revenge on the Pillars. He could just leave them in limbo, but what's the fun in that? Shadow Pony wanted them to see destruction over the whole of Equestria. Make the Pillars fall to their knees in distraught. Shadow Pony started laughing evily and looked towards the pile of gems. He didn't know what to do with it, but he wasn't going to give it away either.
"I really don't know what to do with this. I could save it for some idiots and give them gems as payment, hmm yes i think i'll do just that." Shadow Pony said, with deep thought,
Shadow Pony walked out of his cave and descended into black smoke and glided through trees and animals, until he reached the outskirts of Ponyville. He saw the tall mettal building's and cars driving around, although there weren't many pedestrians on and about, except the ones who prefer the night over the day. He glided towards a building that he knew belongs to Twilight Sparkle, or the apartment atleast. He flew up towards her apartment and flew in through her open window in her room. He made himself super tiny and flew into the living room and hid behind a plant. He heard that they were talking about something, he started listening in.
"Twilight, why don't you believe in the Shadow Pony? After everything we have faced, I'm not surprised by anything anymore." Rainbow Dash asked, curious to hear her response.
"It's because I would have known if The Shadow Pony would have possessed the crusaders wich is why I firmly believe that what Spike said is impossible." Twilight explained, in a matter-of-factly tone.
"Twilight, I get what you're saying darling, but perhaps Spike is right? Didn't you read a book from Starswirl stating that if somepony or creature already has anger or hatred, that it's much harder to detect possession?" Rarity asked, confused by Twilight's logic in this.
Twilight became quiet after that. She didn't know what to say. Rarity had a point, she had read the book and Starswirl has never been wrong before, so why did Twilight find it hard to believe? Was it fear? Or was it that Twilight didn't want to be seen as a failure?
"Um, Twilight? As scared as I a'm from the Shadow Pony, I can't say he doesn't exist because I have no proof, but I don't have evidence either that he exits." Fluttershy said, in a low voice.
The other four nodded their heads agreeing to Fluttershy's statement. Twilight tho, was completely lost in her own head. Why couldn't she accept that The Shadow Pony existed?
"Of course he exists silly fillies! He is listening in to our conversation right now!" Pinkie Pie said, as if it was obvious.
"Sugarcube, I highly doubt that The Shadow Pony is listening to this. He most likely is somewhere where shadows are." Applejack said, with doubt.
Rainbow Dash made a fake scoff that went unnoticed by the others, except Pinkie and Shadow Pony. Rainbow had been around Pinkie long enough to know that she had never been wrong before. It was actually one of the reasons why she had never doubted Pinkie afterwards because Pinkie had alway's been right.
"Well I gotta go, see ya!" Rainbow said, flying out the window.
The others decided it was time to go and said their goodbyes. Shadow Pony flew out the window and went back to his cave in the Everfree. He changed back to his natural size and laughed a little bit. They should have listened to the pink pony. He was right their in their room, but they didn't listen to her. Shadow Pony had learnt about the "Pinkie senses" and wanted so e for himself, that way he could know more when enemies drew closer, although he had already powers like that but not the same way as the pink one.
"Four day's left, then the war will start! Shadow Pony said, with glee.

Spike missed it, when the CMC ruled. He was actually one of the few ponies or dragon (in this case) who missed the old regime. He had never said it out loud to anypony, except for his friend's, and they told Spike that they agreed. They still served The Cutie Mark Crusaders military, but now they were nothing more but a defence of Equestria. Spike didn't mind, but he felt as tho, they lost a purpose that they fulfilled when the crusaders ruled. Spike was lost in deep thought as he continued driving away from Twilight's apartment and decided to drive around the city for a bit.
The moon was shining like a giant star, but up close. Spike smiled at the sight. He drove past Sugarcube Corner and remembered the times when the cafe looked like a normal cake house. He chuckled at the memories. He drove past what used to be the "poor" part of town, wich were only for the ponies who barely had anything because of the regime. He felt bad because of it, scaring some fillies and colts with the weapons his fellow soldier's carried and police officers. Spike couldn't help but feel disgusted as he remembered times he drove by, watching police officers arrest ponies who didn't even know what was going on, and to top it of, they most likely knew the innocence in those ponies but were corrupt.
Spike continued driving through the "poor" area and continued onwards towards his apartment. He drove into the parking lot and parked on the seventh floor and turned of the engine. He got out of the car and headed towards the entrance, into the apartment building. He headed for his apartment and unlocked the door and headed inside. He went to his kitchen and pulled out crime one of the cabinets, dragon whiskey. He drank the whiskey directly from the bottle, not caring how drunk he would get. He walked into the living room and got lost in aimless thought's.
He was rethinking the memories he had with the CMC and how demonic those voices sounded. He couldn't help but feel the same like Twilight, but this time wishing he could deny it. After working for a long time with them, he couldn't help but feel disappointed in his old leaders for giving up so easily. He continued to take long chugs of the whiskey.
Spike walked into his bedroom and looked under his small sized bed, and found what he was looking for. He took out a black brief case that contained a green tinted assault rifle, with a green tinted scope and purple tinted ammo cases. He smiled at the sight. If no one wanted the crusaders ruling then he would make it.
All of a sudden he felt immense pain from his back. He looked back to see who had stabbed him, and his eye's went wide. There was a large black pony that reminded Spike of some sort of ooze or something, and eye's pure white. The creature had stabbed Spike with some sort of sword shoot through the creatures chest. It was The Shadow Pony.
"I can not, and will not, allow you to create chaos before I have made my invasion!" Shadow Pony said, with hatred.
Spike felt himself lose consciousness and feel asleep, one where he would never wake up, except in the afterlife. Shadow Pony shoot back the sword piece of his chest and became black smoke and left the apartment with the dead Spike who was bleeding.
Shadow Pony then flew towards Pipsquek's apartment and glided through the front door, through the tiny gap. Shadow Pony saw Pipsquek watching TV alone, with no one else in the apartment. Shadow Pony took his hoof to his left side and pulled out a sword, that was crafted through pony spines, and a sharp shadow blade that would even make Grogar jealous. Pipsquek was still watching TV completely oblivious to what was happening. Shadow Pony took one swing, wich decapitated Pipsquek's head. The head rolled forward towards the TV and stopped when Shadow Pony picked it up and placed it on the table facing his own body.
Shadow Pony placed back his sword in his ooze body and became smoke and glided through the night towards Twistin's apartment. Twistin was already fast asleep and was in deep, deep sleep. Shadow Pony flew through the open window towards his room and took on his pony form. He looked at Twistin with malice and killed him quickly and painless with a killing spell. Shadow Pony laughed a bit evily and took of towards his last targets apartment, Rumble.
Rumble was still wide awake and was watching on his laptop the wonderbolts perform. He smiled widely hopping after he retired from the military if he could join the wonderbolts. Suddenly he heard something. He paused the video and listened deeply, after a few very long seconds he shrugged it of as a part of the video and continued. He watched for a good five seconds until he felt blood drip down from his belly. He looked down and saw a ooze like sword sticking out from his belly, with the hold of the sword looked like it was made out of pony spines. Rumble felt like throwing up but luckily couldn't. He looked at the hall were the sword was thrown from, he saw two pure white eye's looking at him with anger? Interest? He didn't know who this pony was. Then it hit him, it was the Shadow Pony! Then Rumble breathed his last breath and went into the afterlife.
Shadow Pony walked towards his sword and pulled it out. The body of Rumble stumbling into an weird angle. It was finally done, the four ponies who could defeat him were finally dead. Shadow Pony took his sword to his side and his ooze took it. He then flew towards the Everfree Forest and into his home of a cave.
He walked upwards towards his throne and sat down feeling as ever powerful. He smiled and let out a real villain laugh.
"Only three day's left, and no military buddies who actually could defeat me are dead. Let's see the chaos of tomorrow." Shadow Pony said, with happiness in his tone.

When Twilight got home, after being at the police station. She wrote a letter to Princess Celestia stating that Spike, Rumble, Pipsquek, and Twistin was dead. Twilight then sent the letter through her magic and went into her kitchen to brew some tee. She drank her mint tee and waited for princess Celestia's letter to arrive.
She had just finished her tee when she got the response. She opened the gold scroll and began to read;
Dear Twilight Sparkle, my faithful student.
It saddens me that this happened. Are there any suspects!?! There aren't many people that know that...... Spike is my son. Please don't tell anyone that. I have enough horsefeathers from the snobbish ponies of Canterlot as it is. I have heard that detective Sherlock Hooves is on the case. And if it's true then we don't have to wait long until the case closes. I just told princess Luna about the death of Pipsquek, she is devastated of course, but she has threatened to turn into Nightmare Moon if the case is not solved. Can't say that I blame her one bit. Please Twilight Sparkle make sure no one else dies.

Twilight saw stains of something wet. 'She must o've been crying' Twilight thought, she felt depressed and shocked. She knew Spike had been adopted by someone until she herself could take care of him, but this was a huge surprise! Spike is a prince? Oh, if Rarity knew..... No, she is as depressed as me, Tartarus maybe even more than me!
Twilight checked the clock and saw that it was thirteen and twenty seven. Twilight's eye's went wide. Had time just flown like that? She didn't realise time had flown like that. Then again when you have fun or are really depressed, that's when you see time literally fly away.
Twilight decided to head out and see how her friend's are doing. She knew they weren't well, but she still simply wanted to see them.
Fluttershy was walking around Ponyville, shopping food and supplies for her dear animals. She was lost in thought when she came over to the topic of Spike. She was gonna miss the little dragon....... A lot. What most ponies don't know is that, Fluttershy actually had a crush on Spike. She had never ever told anyone! She didn't even know if she should.
She continued shopping until she ran into Twilight.
"Twilight! How are you feeling?" Fluttershy asked, shyly.
"Well, if I said that everything was fine, then it would be a lie." Twilight said, ever so logical.
"I'm gonna miss those four. They were alway's funny and charming, especially Spike, but that's probably because he was surprisingly mature for his age." Fluttershy said, with care.
Twilight nodded with a small smile on her face. She remembered the fun times she had with Spike before they came to Ponyville. There were so many memories that made her feel warmth, but a few dark ones that made her feel cold inside and out. She looked at Fluttershy who looked confused at her.
"Oh, sorry Fluttershy, I didn't mean to space out." Twilight said, apologetically.
"That's okay, sometimes we need to simply space out." Fluttershy said, comfortingly.
"Well, you look busy so I'll let you get to it!" Twilight said, with a hint of disappointment.
"No, why don't you come with me? We could have tee if you'd like?" Fluttershy asked, hoping to continue to speak to Twilight.
"Um, okay sure." Twilight agreed.
"Alright, I just need to buy some more supplies then we can head for my cottage." Fluttershy said, to Twilight who nodded.
They continued walking around, as Fluttershy continued to shop for her animals. Finally after a few minutes they went to the cottage. The cottage was relatively small but big enough for the animals. Fluttershy opened up the door for Twilight and they walked in.
Twilight sat down on the couch as Fluttershy went into the kitchen to prepare the tee. She came back with the tee and sat down some cookies and filled up Twilight's cup and her's.
"You know what Fluttershy? I have come to the conclusion that Spike was assassinated by his own military, the same goes for his friend's." Twilight said, trying to break the awkward ice.
Fluttershy nearly drowned herself in the tee. She dried herself and looked at Twilight as if she had grown a second head.
"Twilight, why would you think that? We are now ruled solely by princess Celestia and princess Luna." Fluttershy said, trying to convince her friend.
"I know Fluttershy, but haven't you seen on TV the riots for those who want the crusaders to continue their tyranny rule?" Twilight said, sounding relatively convincing.
"You remembered what Spike said before he told us about Shadow Pony?" Twilight asked, to a nodding Fluttershy. "Well, what if somepony walked by and overheard what we were talking about? Then that pony killed Spike and his crew so they wouldn't be able to say anything that could ruin their military? Twilight explained, sounding now very convincing.
Fluttershy was lost in thought. The idea sounded silly but it wasn't impossible. It kind of made Fluttershy shiver in fear.
"I'm sorry Fluttershy, I didn't mean to scare you. How was you're day?" Twilight said, trying to change the subject.
"When I was a little filly, I remember I went to the Everfree Forest at night and I saw a shadow lurking around me. I didn't know what it was, but when I got closer I heard the most terrifying scream or roar that I have ever heard. I flew so fast that Rainbow Dash would say I was the fastest in the galaxy." Fluttershy explained her tale in her belief in the Shadow Pony.
Twilight went quiet. She knew some of her friends and other ponies mentioning a scream so terrifying that they thought it came from the king of Tartarus.
"Did you see what it looked like? The monster?" Twilight said, becoming curious.
"All I remember is, pure white eye's." Fluttershy said, with fear.
Twilight almost fell into a pit in her mind.
"TH THE PONY O OF SHADOWS I I IS REAL!!!!" Twilight screamed on the top of her lungs.
"Very good pony, I a'm real. One day left~ Shadow Pony said, in a sing song voice.

The Attack and corruption
Shadow Pony was sitting on his throne waiting until it was midnight, so he could strike in the dark. He smiled as he hadn't seen blood spill in such a long time, especially considering he was banished. His objects that contained his souls were to well hidden. He shrugged it of and looked at the gems. Anypony or creature would be jumping around because of how much there was, he could pay an entire army! Shadow Pony walked out of the cave and saw that the moon was almost all the way up, wich meant that it was precisely an hour until it was midnight.
Shadow Pony made himself into black smoke, and glided through the trees, grass, flowers, and night animals. Shadow Pony made it to the outskirts of Ponyville and saw a couple of ponies walking, on and about. He continued to glide until he reached the military base. Most Cutie Mark Crusaders soldier's lived on the base, because it was much easier. Shadow Pony went to one of the apartments on the base and spread his ooze. The ooze went into all the rooms of the apartment searching for souls to corrupt. It was only a tiny flaw in his plan. Twilight Sparkle now believes he exists and will know that the soldiers are corrupt. Shadow Pony heard muffled screaming until there were several evil snickers. The door's opened up on the top floor were he was and saw what his ooze had done. The ponies and gryphons looked almost like the shadow pony the difference was instead of white eye's, they had blood red.
"Hello, ponies and gryphons, today is the day where we take over, first Ponyville then another city or empire, and finally take Equestria!!" Shadow Pony screamed the last part, wich made his subjects salute him and make an sort of evil happy noise.
Shadow Pony looked out a window behind him and saw that his ooze had corrupted more ponies and gryphons, and they were walking out if the building's. Shadow Pony blasted the window and landed in front of his subjects. They bowed in his presence. He smiled evily and told them to rise.
"my loyal subjects, it gives me honor to say, that today is the day we take over Ponyville. After that we take over other cities and empires until Canterlot is the only one left. Then we will rule over the whole world!" Shadow Pony had finished his short lived speech and saw several of his loyal subjects clapping, or stomping their hooves.
Shadow Pony smiled and started marching towards the main base, and saw that several ponies and gryphon made their way towards them, but the shocking part was, they didn't look like the corrupted ones.
"HALT! What in the names of the crusaders is going on here?!" A grey gryphon said, with confusion and anger. Three ponies stood behind him not corrupt at all.
"oooooh, nothing at all general, or is it sergeant?" Shadow Pony mocked.
The gryphon gritted his teeth in absolute anger.
"You have thirty seconds to leave or y-." The gryphon never got to finish his sentence as the Shadow Pony slit his throat.
The three ponies looked angry, and charged at the Shadow Pony. The first pony tried fire shoots at the Shadow, but he didn't even seem to react. The Shadow Pony took her mane and threw her into a container. The pony fell on her back knocked out unconscious. The second pony took out a knife and went on a clashing match with the Shadow Pony. Since the Shadow Pony was older and more experienced, he easily could win, but he wanted to give the last to conscious ponies false hope. Finally Shadow Pony took his knife and stabbed the pony in the belly. The pony fell to the ground holding his wound with his hoof. The last pony threw a grenade and shoot the grenade immidiently. The explosion was very loud, but Shadow Pony stood their as if he was waiting behind the cash register. The pony then charged with her hooves hitting the Shadow Pony in the jaw, wich resulting in Shadow Pony quickly pulling out his sword and cutting the pony in half.
"Well, that was actually surprisingly fun." Shadow Pony said, in a bored tone.
Shadow Pony let his ooze leave his body and corrupt the two dead ponies and the unconscious one. After about thirty seconds, there were movements. The ponies got on their hooves and bowed in the Shadow Pony's presence.
"load you're weapons, and for those who is not carrying a fire arm, go and find it. We are about to start a war. Shadow Pony commanded.
The ponies and gryphons bowed and hurried away, arming themselves for the invasion. The gryphons were armed with every thinkable weapon from assault rifle, pistol, bow and arrow, spear, and so fort. The ponies had the same type of weapons, some deadlier that others and destructible.
Shadow Pony waited for them to finish, as he waited for them at the exit of the base. Shadow Pony stood tall, and looked high and mighty. After an hour of preparing for the attack, they finally stood before their leader in a hell march formation.
"My loyal subjects and soldier's. Tonight is the night were the ponies will bow down on us! We will strike without fear, mercy or contempt. Tonight is the night they will never forget. Shadow Pony said, with pride and malice. The ponies and gryphons cheered for their new leader.
Shadow Pony marched with them to Ponyville and ordered them to attack, and to leave nopony alive. They obliged and committed their assault. The ponies screamed in fear and shock as ponies and gryphon in black ooze attacked them and murdered them.
After an hour, the assault was finished. Shadow Pony let his ooze lose and one by one, the ponies started to rise to their hooves and show alligence to the Shadow Pony. The crusaders walked forward, completely corrupted by the ooze.
"Our fearless leader, we are honored to see you." Scootaloo said, in a interesting formality.
"The honor is all mine. Would you be interested In co-ruling with me?" Shadow Pony asked, in curiosity.
"My leader, we would be more than honored. Thank you!" Applebloom said, with gratefulness.
Shadow Pony nodded and looked on towards Canterlot.
"one day Celestia..... I will have my revenge!" Shadow Pony said, with hate.

Six months later
six months had passed since the invasion of The Shadow Pony, and life was worse than, when the crusaders ruled. Shadow Pony was a bit more violent than the crusaders, and less...... forgiving. Shadow Pony had made everypony into his military. The ponies and gryphons luckily didn't need food, because the ooze provided them with something that made them well feed, same went for the water. The crusaders were co-rulers with Shadow Pony, and they couldn't be more proud. Applebloom worked her flank off, so nopony escapes their "beautiful country". Sweetie Belle was doing spionages for Shadowia , so far she hadn't been sent on any mission's. Scootaloo was the highest possible commander in the military. They still had time to take care of papers that came with ruling the country. Snadowia , was now known across Equestria as the most feared country and empire. Shadow Pony had an coronation a few months prior up to the present. Shadow Pony had changed The Cutie Mark Crusaders flag into white background, with the Shadow Pony's body in the middle in black, with black text saying Shadowia. Shadow Pony rarely used the labour camps, because either you were executed publicly or tossed into prison.
The citizens of Shadowia are doing great. The economy tho, seemed to be failing. Shadow Pony the sent out twenty gryphons and ponies to the cave he lived in, so they could use the gems as side money, but because of the failing economy it most likely would be the only type of currency. The main six had somehow fleed during the coup. Shadow Pony didn't care, or mind to be honest. Shadow Pony walked through his parliament and admired everything his slaves had built up.
Canterlot Castle - Twilight's room
Twilight was crying her eye's out. It was all her fault! If she had just believed Spike then, they could have left for Canterlot. The voice of doubt wanted to show that she was there to, as she gave very questionable suggestions if she had done stuff differently. Twilight couldn't sleep, how could she anyway's? It was six months since she and her friend's fleed the country or town now know as; Shadowia.
"Why didn't I listen to Spike? He would never lie to me! His eye's showed no signs of him even lying about anything at all!
In Rarity's room, Rarity was lost in thought about what had happened to her and her friend's the past months. Princess Celestia gave them a roof under their heads, even tho, Twilight was very insistent about staying in a hotel. Celestia somehow convinced Twilight to let them stay in the castle.
Rarity had gotten a shock when she walked past a couple of guards that were mumbling about her Spikey-Wikey. Rarity nairly fainted when she heard the other guard tell him; "Yes, prince Spike is dead. Princess Celestia has not done her duties, but I can't say I blame her one bit. He was her child after all." Needless to say Rarity was more than shocked, she didn't want to tell the other girls but she did suspect that Twilight knew, wich wouldn't surprise her. Rarity also told herself that it wasn't her business, since she didn't know about it in the first place. Rarity cried herself to sleep as she remembered all the horrible deeds she did to Spike for her own pleasure, and personal gain.
Fluttershy was in her room wide awake thinking about her crush. She really did love Spike. She didn't have any bad memories of him except the one time he turned into a giant dragon, but that aside she really had no bad memories of him at all. Fluttershy alway's wanted to have a chance with him, but he was alway's so fixated about dating Rarity. It to a small degree, hurt her feelings, but she told herself that he was still young and she didn't really do anything to make him look at her in any way. She kind of felt guilty for feeling frustrated over him.
She started remembering the fun times, and smiled faintly. She alway's wanted to hold on to those memories. She fell asleep with a smile on her face.
Pinkie Pie alway's looked at the bright side of everything. But in a situation like this, she couldn't help but feel depressed. She felt horrible guilt and remorse for pranking all those times on Spike that later turned out to be hurtful. Spike had done nothing, but helped her, and how did she repay him? By doing hurtful pranks on Spike. She felt disgusted by herself.
Anger and resentment grew in her, and she was having a hard time containing it. She felt like..... like......killing somepony. She hasn't feelt like this in years. However killed Spike, was going to pay a heavy price.
Rainbow Dash had never in her life felt so much guilt, until today. She looked through her memories and saw times, when she pulled hurtful pranks on him. She hadn't believed him when he had said that they were hurtful..... until he practically threatened with torturing her and ask if she would see it as a prank. She had never been so silent in her life.
Rainbow Dash looked very guilty for what she had done to him, but now he is dead, up in the heavens or in Tartarus. She sincerely hoped he was in heaven.
Applejack felt like throwing up, because of how disgusted she was at herself. She had seen Spike as weak and not strong at all. How she regretted seeing him that way, considering the bags he had carried for Rarity. Applejack would even go as far as to say be was stronger than her in that sense. Spike had helped out a lot on the farm, even after the invasion. She wanted to do anything just to talk to him, and apologise for what she had done, but it's impossible now seeing as he's dead. She knew tho, that he was murdered because of how Twilight had described it and how violent it sounded in the first place.
"Forgive me Spike." Applejack said, out loud to no one.

Luna's prepare for revenge
Luna was an absolute wreck. She have, had problems doing her duties. Luna had the other day yelled in all her might at some snobbish ponies, using her royale Canterlot voice with a demonic like voice wich Celestia thinks belongs to Nightmare Moon. To say that the snobbish ponies were scare and shock was more than an understatement. They looked like they were about to suffer a fait worse than death. The other snobbish ponies had stopped going to Celestia also. Celestia was happy that she doesn't hafto listen to their stupid problems, but she felt it was the wrong way to do it. The one she actually love helping is Fancy Pants, he alway's has good ideas and that Luna agreed to.
Luna felt bad for Pipsquek. He had once said he wanted to join the night guards when he grew up. Luna looked so happy when he said that. Luna had given him advise on what type of training he would need and such. Then the invasion happened, and Pipsquek joined the army so he practically already had his training for when he joins the night guards. Luna felt like she was responsible for his death, like if she hadn't told him to give her information if he could, maybe he would still be alive. Then again no one suspected him so it could simply be he died of other reasons.
Luna started feeling intense anger, one she hadn't felt in a long time. One she also felt a thousand years ago......
Luna shaked of the feeling and decided to check the ponies who were asleep. She walked out of her room and on to her balcony. She used her magic so she could walk through the ponies dreams. She was finally in the long hallway and saw several doors missing...
"What has happened to the doors? All of them can't be awake." Luna told, herself as she went into her little investigation.
Luna tried different spells to try and find the doors, but find absolutely none. Either they are having some huge party everyone is at or their.......... corrupt. The question is what kind of corrupt is it?
Luna walked around for a few hours, and helped ponies come at ease, or specifically the ones who weren't snobbish. BlueBlood included. Luna felt evil doing so but for some odd reason, satisfaction. She shrugged of the feeling and continued working.
The Next Night .
Luna woke up from her slumber and felt it again, the intense anger or hatred more like it, because of how intense it is. Luna got out of bed and headed for the kitchen to have her breakfast. She walked in and had a salad, and some juice. When she finished she walked back to her room and on to her balcony. For six months she had tried to reach out to anypony in Ponyville, even Zecora's door hadn't shown up in some time. Luna decided to give up and just focus on the ponies who were still in her reach.
For a few hours she walked around the dream scape not seeing anything unusual with the exception of the missing doors. Luna sighed in defeat. Luna walked back and forth to make sure other ponies slept well.
Luna went to her sisters dream to see what she dreamt of. When she reached the door and opened it, she nearly lost it. In the dream was The Shadow Pony fighting against Celestia.
Shadow Pony sent some sort of killing spell, that was blocked by Celestias own spell. Shadow Pony then changed tactics and pulled out his sword and started swinging it around trying to cut Celestia, but Celestia was quicker. Celestia flew high up into the air and fired several spells that were blocked of by Shadow Pony's sword.
Luna went pale, really really pale. This was no ordinary dream. No, this was a vision of what will most likely happen in the near future.
"I rule over you're pathetic excuse of subjects. They are useful tho, in fighting for me, even tho I could just do it myself." Shadow Pony said, with glee.
Celestia and Shadow Pony continued to fight, until Shadow Pony saw a window and Shadow Pony stabbed her right in the heart. Celestia fell to her knees and looked up in shock at the Shadow Pony.
"You were never good at sword fighting. But I will give it to you, nopony has been able to fight me this long..... not even Starswirl." Shadow Pony said, with some sort of enthusiasm.
Luna was running through the corridors until she reached her sister's room and Burst in just to see Celestia sit on her bed lost in thought. Celestia looked up and saw her sister looking like she spoke to death itself.
"I'm sorry for worrying you Luna." Celestia said, with sorrow.
"Sister, you know that, that wasn't a normal dream right!?!" Luna halfly shouted.
"Yes Luna, I a'm aware of it." Celestia said, in a quiet voice.
"Art thou okay?" Luna said, in the old Equestrian dialect.
"Yes Luna, although the vision concerns me," Celestia said, with a hint of worry. "The Pony Of Shadows was said to be a myth but disappeared when Starswirl.... did something. I don't know how the Shadow Pony escaped but I intend to banish it to wherever."
"True, dear sister. Do you think that Shadow Pony rules over Ponyville?" Luna questioned.
"Most likely, I don't think anyone else would do it, not even the crusaders." Celestia said, thoughtful.
Luna sighed and said her goodbye and left her sister's room. Luna walked all the way back to her own room lost in thought. Luna reached her room and walked inside and looked at her beautiful moon. Luna suddenly felt her anger become intense and then become hate.
She couldn't control it anymore, she wanted revenge! Luna slowly rose up from the floor not even flapping her wings, and slowly transformed into Nightmare Moon. Her reptilian eye's opened and she looked around her room.
"Well it seems as tho, you want revenge for that little colt. Wich is why I will help you, since I also want revenge!" Nightmare Moon said.

The Shadow Pony was sitting inside his kingdom that he built through dark magic. The palace looked like something the king of Tartarus would live in. Then again, there are billions of rumours of Shadow Pony's origins. Somepony's say that he is the king of Tartarus, other say's he is the son. And some ponies simply believe that Shadow Pony came to life through the darkness, and has absolutely no relation to Tartarus what so ever. There are millions of questions that Shadow Pony had flat out ignored over the years. He didn't like to talk about his origins, because it is very complicated, especially considering he can see limbo in a different light than any other creature. In limbo, he could see Faust and her angels, he looked at them with a smile on his face. The angels looked at him with fear, but blocked the fear with anger, while Faust looked back at him with a............ smile......
Shadow Pony had alway's been confused as to why, Faust smiled at him even tho, he rebelled. He created the darkness, but he certainly is not the definition of evil. Faust had told the other angels that, wich shocked them so much, that they actually thought, that Shadow Pony had somehow corrupted her. Faust then told them something, that not even her angels could deny, and that was Faust was the goddess of all creation, and she couldn't be corrupted even if she wanted to.
Shadow Pony sometimes, sometimes, misses being in his angelic form. Being with the other pony-angels, serving their goddess. They had long white wings with horns, but the only royalty they were, was being the angels of a goddess. Celestia was an alicorn tho, she didn't know much about life after death, her sister tho, princess Luna know's more than she actually thought. The night is associated with darkness, sometimes not alway's. Luna had studied some dark magic that even Shadow Pony saw them dark, not that he cared much and would tell any creature, or pony to just go for it.
Shadow Pony's wings had been cut of by himself, because he wanted to show Faust, that he wasn't an angel anymore. He was angered tho, when Faust asked him if he wanted wings again. She had asked him this, after he was lost in thought about if it was a good idea to have cut of his wings. He had shown absolute hatred, but Faust wasn't nerved by this, in fact being the goddess she is, she could see all possible responses and futures, so she wasn't surprised by anything, really.
Shadow Pony had said that, he didn't need her "pathetic" help at all, and to just leave him alone. Faust didn't look saddened by this, but obliged with his wishes. She left him alone to his thought's and went back to heaven. The other angels were angered by what he had said to their goddess. Faust had silenced them and told them that they would have done the exact same thing if they were in his hooves. They went quiet after that, because it was actually only Shadow Pony and Faust that had access to different dimensions. Faust obviously, because she is the goddess of all creation, and Shadow Pony.........
Shadow Pony suddenly was lost. Why did he have access to different dimensions? Was there something he was suppose to learn? Did he miss something? Shadow Pony was now really, really lost. All of a sudden there was a flash of light, and it hovered near Shadow Pony floating above the red carpet. Shadow Pony knew immidiently how it was.
"The goddess of all creations, what a pleasant surprise. What are you doing here? And when I mean here I mean in front of me at all? Come to humiliate me?" Shadow Pony asked, with a scowl of anger.
"Shadow Pony, I hear they call you. I wanted to check up on you, to make sure you were alright. You have been hurting as of late. You're brothers and sisters are really worried about you." Faust said, with a motherly tone.
Shadow Pony laughed with absolute genuine laughter. They? Worried about him!? That was such nonsense that Shadow Pony was losing what was nonsense.
"Sorry, wich dimension are you from? I think I have missed one dimension if my brothers or sisters are 'worried' about me. They are worried that I'll start the next rebellion most likely." Shadow Pony said with malice.
"I understand how you feel. You still hurt because of the betrayal, but you also know that you betrayed everyone, including me, but I was never angry at you Lucifer. Yes, I said it, you can never run away from you're past. You have made you're self into a demon like pony, but what I see is a hurt son." Faust explained.
Cloudsdale, or what's left of it.
Cloudsdale had been invaded by ponies and gryphons, that were covered in some sort of black ooze. The ponies that were covered were given wings and horns while Pegasus ponies, got horns, and unicorns got wings. The gryphons were given deadlier weapons that would make Celestia and Luna shudder.
The ponies of Cloudsdale were lead in a hell march like formation. They were lead to Shadowia ? Spitfire and the other wonderbolts had either been severely hurt or been executed. Lightning Dust had been executed because one pony said, he felt like it. That had scarred the young fillies and colts, hiding behind their parents for cover, while their parents protected them.
One of the ooze alicorn ponies released some of her ooze, wich then went of the citizens of cloudsdale and corrupted them, and the young ones. They were all given horns and immense power.
They flew back to Shadowia , and introduced them to their "lovely" society. They all had an apartment, and because of the fall of Cloudsdale, it made Cloudsdale now apart of Shadowia , but because of the corruption in their brains, they couldn't know whether it was bad or not.
"WHY ARE YOU EVEN HERE YOU FILT!!???!! YOU DIDN'T CARE BEFORE, SO WHY WOULD YOU EVEN BOTHER TO CARE NOW?" Shadow Pony shouted, in absolute hatred and anger towards his, creator or "mother" as some would call it.
"You are my son, I care about you no matter what you do. I of course don't approve of you're version of 'fun' but you're still my son." Faust said, calmly and sadly.
Shadow Pony looked at the white orb sorrowfully and looked quickly away from the orb.
"Sorry." Shadow Pony said, with genuine sadness.
"It's alright my son. Please spare the innocent ponies and gryphons, and other creatures." Faust said, with her mother tone again.
"As long as you accept them in the after life in heaven." Shadow Pony said, with a hint of annoyance.
The orb was there for a few more seconds, then it disappeared into thin air. And Shadow Pony was alone once more.

Twilight and her friend's where at the castle in Canterlot taking refuge. Twilight was still shaken from the absolute violence by Shadow Pony. She didn't know why Shadow Pony attacked and invaded Ponyville for. Obviously he did it for a reason. Power? Or was it something more sinister? Twilight wasn't sure. They had held a funeral for Spike and his friend's in Canterlot. Sadly most of his friend's parents were corrupted by the ooze, so they couldn't come even if they wanted to. Shadow Pony was absolutely terrifying, he attacks without warning or mercy and shows nothing but hate. Twilight had defected and fleed, together with her friend's but also with Derpy Hooves and her daughter Dinky Doo. Dinky had claimed that Shadow Pony had showed her sorrow, when he had his speech after his victory.
Twilight wanted to believe Dinky, but it just wasn't possible for someone like Shadow Pony showing sadness or sorrow! Then again Twilight didn't know ANYTHING about Shadow Pony. So the idea wasn't entirely out of the question. Twilight didn't know how to feel, when it came to Shadow Pony having feelings. Twilight then gasped when she realised something...... If Shadow Pony had no feelings, then how would he be able to feel anger or hatred? It wasn't possible to just feel those two without the whole pack.
Twilight was in her giant room she had been borrowing as she and her friend's stayed at the castle. Twilight looked around the small room and saw everything was luxurious. The bed was queen sized with Twilight's cutie mark on the covers. The pillows were so fluffy, you would forget it was even there. Her bedside table contained two departments and a light bulb. The walls were decorated with Canterlot styled theme to it. White and purple with beautiful lines like small flowers and plants, the type you'd see on family symbols. She had a balcony with the view over the entirety of Canterlot. Twilight had a huge bathroom wich almost looked to be pristine gold. The walls were decorated with pictures of sun and moon, representing the royale sisters. She also had a fire place wich was on the opposite side of the bed.
Twilight decided to head to breakfast and think thing's over. Twilight got out of bed and headed for the door when she heard knocking. She moved towards the door and opened it just to smile when she saw her friend's, just for her smile to turn to a frown when she saw the looks on their faces. Confusion, shock, and surprise? She let them enter and they did so. When everypony was in the room she asked them the first question that came to hear head.
"Uh.... what's going on?" Twilight asked, wondering what was going on.
"Darling.... is their some sort of religion you believe in?" Rarity asked, looking at the floor still confused by what had happened.
"No, not really. I mean I did pray to princess Celestia, until I realised she is simply a pony that is royalty with goddess like powers." Twilight said, in deep thinking.
"Sugarcube, there was this white light, that headed for the palace of Shadowia . Princess Celestia asked Shadow Pony about what it was, and he said it was Faust herself. And now everypony, including the princesses, are in such a shock that they probably would be classified as drunks." Applejack explained, with questioning tone.
Twilight was so quiet, everypony thought that they broke her, until she laughed hysterically. Everypony was actually expecting this kind of response from the mare, but didn't say anything.
"That was a good one Applejack! Faust, real? No way in Tartarus." Twilight said, with laughter.
Everypony sighed, wich made Twilight look at them properly. Applejack was known for being a terrible liar, so why couldn't Twilight see the lie from Applejack? It could only mean.... no that's not possible! No way in the nine layers of Tartarus was Faust real to begin with!
"What else did Shadow Pony lie about?" Twilight asked, not sounding convinced by her own lie.
"Well, he claims to be a fallen angel, and turned himself into The Pony of Shadooows." Pinkie said, with a spooky voice.
Twilight didn't know whether to be scared, or to laugh. She felt like doing both, but why did she all of a sudden feel scared? Most likely if what Shadow Pony is saying is even true. If he is a fallen angel, then he will be impossible to defeat, unless if Faust is real of course, or other angels could possibly defeat him.
"I wonder if it's some sort of lie. But Shadow Pony doesn't look like the pony who would lie." Fluttershy said, quietly.
"Shadow Pony, from what I have heard has never actually lied, but has from what I have understood, somehow avoided the questions." Applejack said, with thought.
"Make sense, but why would Faust visit him, if he is like really evil?" Rainbow Dash questioned, confused as everyone else.
"Well, Gods and Goddesses are alway's described as, loving everything they create, even those that turn to a dark path. Maybe she wanted to know how her soon was? Would make sense." Rarity said, thoughtful.
"Yes, but how come we have never detected her? With our magic, we should be able to know if she exists or not!" Twilight said, frustrated.
"Come on Twilight, you can't be that dense! Faust is a Goddess she created everything as we know it! She can hide in plain sight and not be noticed." Pinkie said, as if it was the most obvious thing.
"That... actually does make sense." Rainbow said, with a confused expression.
"I actually never thought about it like that. I guess that does explain a few thing's." Twilight said, in defeat.
"So, have you realised now, who has written our story?" Pinkie said, as if it was normal.
"Well, she did create us. I'm atleast convinced." Applejack said, with a shrug.
Twilight didn't know why, but she felt a dark presence looming over them as if the presence was watching them.
"Soon Pipsquek will be avenged!!!" Nightmare moon shouted into the morning sky, atop of the tower of the castle.

The battle between two darknesses
Shadow Pony could feel the power of Nightmare Moon. He didn't know where she was, but he knew she was out there somewhere. He chuckled to himself, knowing she wanted revenge for that little colt she had grown to like. He knew the consequences would be severe, but he never thought Nightmare Moon herself, would come I to play. He walked out onto his balcony from his palace. The night sky was beautiful, he started understanding why Luna had a lot of followers, her night's were nothing, but marvelous.
He was expecting her to come. He was waiting for her to arrive so they could start their dueling. He was good at it, but preferred using swords and tools instead of magic. From what he understood about Nightmare Moon, she didn't have a preference, atleast from the ponies he had talked to, said that. It was interesting considering that she alway's used magic, but then again Shadow Pony liked seeing the fear in his enemies eye's before they die. He did from time to time use magic in dueling if he was really bored, but otherwise he likes to see blood spill.
"you have some nerve, killing an innocent colt, and latter thinking you could get away with it." Nightmare Moon said, with malice.
"Truth be told, I didn't actually think you would become Nightmare Moon, but fate has alway's loved playing with us." Shadow Pony said, without looking behind him.
There was an silence between them, not an uncomfortable one, but an angry one. Shadow Pony waited for her to attack but it never came. He turned around and saw her in all her glory. Midnight blue armor and chest plate with an helmet that looked like it belonged to a leader. Her fur was black with her green reptilian eye's and her mane was lit like stars.
"You're as beautiful as ever. You were alway's cute when you were angry." Shadow Pony said, without thinking.
"You are nothing but an pathetic excuse of an fallen angel. You think I would allow you to live, even after you killed Pipsquek!? I will kill you even if it's the last thing I do." Nightmare Moon said, with hatred.
Shadow Pony couldn't help but laugh at the display. She didn't actually have a blush on her face, she just looked angry wich Shadow Pony thought looked cute. Shadow Pony had never been in a relationship with Nightmare Moon, but he aided her when she wanted eternal night. He had sent her ooze that corrupted her bat-ponies even more, so they would only be loyal to her. Nightmare Moon nearly succeeded but failed in the end.
"How have Luna been treating you?" Shadow Pony asked, in a monotone voice.
"Why in Tartarus does that matter? I'm here for you, because of you killing Pipsquek!" Nightmare Moon said, with hatred, losing her patience.
Shadow Pony looked towards the battle lit eye's of Nightmare Moon. If it was a fight she wanted, then it was a fight she would receive.
Shadow Pony shot a killing curse at Nightmare Moon, but she evaded in time. Nightmare shot an corruption spell, but realised it wouldn't have an effect on him, because he was already corrupt. Shadow Pony took the air and flew up high until he was at the ceiling level. He shot an beam at Nightmare, wich she evaded without breaking a sweat. Nightmare shot several spells rapidly at Shadow Pony, hoping to bring him of balance. Shadow Pony was hit and landed on his stone floor, and immidiently got up and evaded a blast. Shadow Pony shot a black beam at Nightmare, wich she blocked of with her own magic shield. Shadow Pony the rushed towards Nightmare so fast, Nightmare forgot to evade. Nightmare fell on the stone floor and got up only to be meet with an sword nearly cutting her. Nightmare evaded and used her magic to pull out her own sword. She then started swinging it left and right towards Shadow Pony, who kept evading her swings. He was then stabbed in his front hoof, wich he smiled towards. Since he was an ooze like creature he couldn't feel that type of pain. Shadow Pony started swinging wildly and eventually struck Nightmares left side. Nightmare fell to the ground bleeding profusely.
"Do you give up Nightmare? You're bleeding, and id rather not kill you." Shadow Pony said, with sincerity.
"NEVER!!!!!!!" Nightmare Moon shouted, as she got up and swung the sword right in were his heart is suppose to be.
To Nightmares shock, it actually seemed to do something. He looked pale, really pale. She twisted her sword violently, and eventually he faded to ashes screaming in pain and agony.
Nightmare stood there shocked by the turn of events, until she was facing a pony she knew all to well.
"It's interesting seeing you fight Nightmare, but would you be kind enough to allow Luna talk?" Pipsquek asked, kindly.
Nightmare was shocked, but obliged to his wishes. Luna emerged from the form of Nightmare Moon, and head tears in her eye's. She ran up to Pipsquek and hugged him. She noticed that he was different. He was an..... ALICORN!!??! How could this be?
"Pipsquek, how did you become an alicorn? Not that I'm not happy to see you, it's just I didn't expect it to be like this." Luna said, looking all around Pipsquek.
"When I died, I became an alicorn angel. Same goes for the others, Spike can change forms, but remains a dragon. We became angels. I helped aid you in the fight between you're foe. It seems as though you needed it, considering Shadow Pony was an angelic being, with demon powers." Pipsquek explained, earning shocked eye's from Luna.
"I must go now, I hope to see you in heaven in atleast a couple of thousand years." Pipsquek said, smiling at Luna as he flew towards heaven.
Luna walked out of the palace and saw ponies waking up from their corrupted form. Everypony and gryphons looked shocked. They looked all around them seeing the destruction caused by the Shadow Pony and his corrupted followers.
The nightmare had finally ended.

Ten years later .
Over ten years has passed since The Cutie Mark Crusaders and Shadow Pony took over. The crusaders had an excellent military business going on, serving Equestria as it's largest defence. Shadow Pony is now a evil tale parent's tell their children. Nightmare Moon has been described as some sort of hero, because of the defeat of Shadow Pony, and all the fillies and colts love to hear the tale of Nightmare Moon. Luna alway's smiled when she heard the tale, it made her feel warm knowing Nightmare Moon was loved.
Princess Celestia was having a hard time, considering it was the ten year anniversary of the fall of Shadowia and Bás . Celestia didn't know whether they should celebrate it or not, but to everpony's and gryphons surprise, it was the crusaders who wanted the anniversary celebration.
Party streamers could be seen all over Ponyville, with Pinkie Pie preparing cupcakes and other type of dessert's. Pinkie had been having a hard time the last ten years because of the guilt about what she did towards the crusaders. She had been forgiven by them and apologised for there violent behaviors.
Fluttershy was going to have the birds singing for the special Cutie Mark Crusaders hell march. She had been forgiven by the crusaders and been given pension, for her services for their military, wich Fluttershy tried to refuse, because of the guilt. The crusaders were insistent and keept giving it to her every month.
Zecora went back to the Everfree Forest and continued brewing potions, and was like everypony else, forgiven by the crusaders. She also received her pension money for her services. Zecora actually sell those potions she makes to their army these day's, and make good bits from it.
Rainbow Dash seems to have been forgiven by the crusaders, specifically Scootaloo. Rainbow in matter of fact was even invited to join their military as an apology. She joined without hesitation and is now weapons trainer.
Twilight Sparkle was having a hard time with the crusaders, because they had forgiven her. She felt like she didn't deserve their forgiveness, but they forgave her, just like that. She is trying to cope still after ten years without Spike.
Rarity had become more distant from her sister, wich was surprising considering, she practically was alway's trying to get her attention, they were on speaking terms, but Rarity wasn't as responsive as she used to be. She still makes clothes, but not as much anymore.
Applejack had accepted the death of her brother sink in, but she wasn't angry at Applebloom. She blamed herself, if she hadn't pushed Applebloom down that path, then perhaps he would still be alive. Granny Smith had eventually forgiven Applebloom, and alway's apologised as soon as she saw her, much to the annoyance of Applebloom.
Luna was trying her hardest, to cope with the death of Pipsquek, even after ten years. She had built a statue with him and his friend's on it. Everypony loved the statue, and alway's love to hear Pipsquek's tale.
All was well as all things should be.

Twilight was laying in her bed wailing in sadness. She had gotten a call from Ponyville's police department, that her little brother Spike was dead, as was his friend's. Twilight just, couldn't believe it. She got out of her bed and decided to head into the city and towards the police station.
As she walked into the station, she noticed some family members of Rumble, Pipsquek, and Twistin. They caught her eye's, and she nodded looking down. She sat down on one of the chairs. She waited until the one working in the reception called her up. Twilight walked up towards the little reception.
"So, what can I help you with?" The mare asked. The mare was oranged fured, and had sapphire blue eye's, with red mane and tail.
"Um, I'm Twilight Sparkle, I'm here concerning my brother, Spike the Dragon." Twilight explained, not knowing how to put it gently.
The mare nodded in realisation and motioned for her to sit on the waiting area. Twilight walked over there and sat down lost in thought.
Twilight was waiting and waiting, in wich it felt like an eternity. Until an officer came and called out her name. She looked up and walked over to him, she then proceeded to follow him into his office. She sat in the chair on the opposite side of him, as he took his seat across from behind the desk.
"Hello, my name is detective Sherlock Hooves and I a'm currently investigating the murder of you're brother and his friend's. Are you with me so far?" Sherlock Hooves asked, hoping he wasn't jumping to deep into his work. He didn't want to seem non-caring.
"My name is Twilight Sparkle. I got you're call, but I will not lie, I actually hoped it was a sick joke at first." Twilight said, wanting to get that of you're chest.
"That is completely natural, and very very understandable." Sherlock Hooves said.
"So, I understand you grew up with Spike, until Ponyville became a tyranny rule?" Sherlock Hooves explained, hoping he had understood it right.
"Yes, me and Spike first lived in Canterlot with my parents and brother. My parents name and brothers are Twilight Velvet, my mother. Night Light, my father, and finally my brother Shining Armor. We lived together for a while until I read a book, stating that Nightmare Moon would return after a thousand years, I sent a scroll to Princess Celestia through Spike's fire magic. I got a response saying, I needed to make friend's and sent me here to Ponyville. We defeated Nightmare Moon and gained the elements of harmony. Spike was alway's there to help us, but we kept giving him work and chores. We abused him mentally and physically. When we came under the tyranny rule, Spike became a soldier, we didn't approve and some of my friend's got angry at him. That's when we had our falling out, he told us all the sins we did towards him and then he left and we didn't speak to him until yesterday. Well now when I think of it, I believe my friend Fluttershy mentioned something about reconciling with Spike, and if that really is the case then she is the only one "close" to him." Twilight explained, her whole life story, hoping it was of use.
Sherlock Hooves nodded. He did find something odd tho, why did they all of a sudden start speaking just yesterday? Was there a reason? Is it connected to the case?
"Miss Sparkle, if you don't mind me asking, everything you have said is very important, but I must ask. Why did you speak to each other yesterday? Was it to reconcile? Now I realise this was a stupid question." Sherlock Hooves felt like hitting himself, for his own stupidity.
"No,no, it's no problem. I had called him because I hoped he could shed some light on our previous leaders. You see, I have a theory that they might be possessed or were possessed. He told me he saw some type of possession, saying it was without a doubt most likely The Pony of Shadows." Twilight explained, feeling lighter weight on her chest.
Sherlock Hooves thought for a second that he had to much earwax in his ear and heard Twilight say; The Pony of Shadows, the he realised he hadn't mistaken and was lost in such thought that it could rival Albus Dumbledore. If it was true about what miss Sparkle has said, then the world may be in grave danger.
"Do you believe in the Shadow Pony detective?" Twilight asked, curious to know his response.
"Yes, I have faced monsters demons and other creatures I didn't believe existed, until I took this job. I have seen thing's that I would beg Faust to erase from my head and memories." Sherlock Hooves said, with a blunt voice.
Twilight sat there thinking he was mental. Then she came to the realisation that he has a point. There are thing's she has faced, where even she wondered what existed and what didn't. It made sense to her that someone like Sherlock Hooves believed in that kind if stuff, considering that she has heard his tales.
