A Preferential Shade

(Yes yes, short first chapter, Bite me. I wanted to finish this Introduction, the next chapter won't be as short. ._.)

"Hello, Mare Tv! I'm going to be the next big thing!" A little colt voice said.

"Boom pssh boom pssh, I am Storm you know me I beat you up, In that alley! I will come over there and show you who's boss, Yeah! I'm storm! Boom pssh." Storm began to freestyle rap, being very bad at it.

"I hope you accept my entry for my amazing rap, Mare TV This is storm signing off."

Storm flicked the button on the video camera with his horn.  Making it stop playing. He had got accepted for Hilarity. But his career soon ended after his Mothers death That was 15 years ago. Storm hadn't smiled since then, not even when Pinkie showed up. But the one time he does smile, is at that video. He entered for MTV or Mare TV Storm wasn't expecting to get accepted, but he did anyway.

Storm heard a knock on the door, hopefully not a feeble attempt to make him happy again.. As he walked over to the door, he slowly opened it with his magic.. To see.... No pony? This was odd, because about every day somepony would try to cheer him up, He looked up, and down. And saw  book. With a note. He picked the book and note up with his magic, closing the door and walking over to the table. Setting them both down.. He picked the not up putting it infront of him. It read.

The hell? Storm thought. He put the note down and picked up the book with his hooves.

"Mysteries, legends, Myths and prophicies?" Storm said to himself, slowly opening it.
