The cat with a beautiful white coat but no one knows the truth about Rarity’s disappearance or the missing cat, except for Sweetie Belle 7pm Sunday Rarity trusted the Boutique to her sister for a very important trip to Manehattan, it seemed simple enough to take care of a cat “Sweetie Belle, i’ll be back in a week, do be a dear and make sure you feed Opalescence while i’m gone” Rarity said as she headed for the door with her bags packed “Sure thing Rarity” Sweetie Belle said as she ran over to her sister, giving her a hug Rarity headed out the door to catch the late evening train as Sweetie Belle went to give Opalescence her food, then it was off to bed to read a book 3am Monday Sweetie belle awoke with a loud banging on her door. Bang….Bang….Bang…. the noise continued until she neared the door… it stopped. Sweetie Belle slowly opened the door, to be greeted by a cat lunging for her face, clawing her violently “OUCH, OPAL!” Sweetie Belle cried as the cat ran away hissing “Stupid cat”, she slammed the door and went back to bed 12pm noon, Monday Sweetie awoke to the shouting of her fellow CMC knocking on the door downstairs, she rushed down to greet her friends “Hi girls” Sweetie Belle said “Woah what happened to you” Scootaloo said shocked “Yeah it looks like a nasty scratch there Sweetie Belle” Apple bloom said , “What did that?” “Oh it’s just Rarity’s stupid cat” she pointed to sleeping Opal in the corner ‘Well come on Sweetie belle, Rainbow Dash has fun things for us to do today” Scootaloo said… as they left the Boutique for the rest of the evening 9pm Monday Sweetie Belle entered the Boutique late after being brought home by Rainbow Dash, she gave food to Opalescence ad went to bed 3am Tuesday Sweetie Belle awoke to the smell of smoke. She quickly got up an ran to see where the smell was coming from to see a bright light coming from Rarity’s room “OH NO!” Sweetie shouted as she quickly ran downstairs to find a bucket of water to put out the fire… she ran down the stairs and tripped… only to be clawed at by Opalescence “AHH YOU SUPID CAT” Sweetie Belle yelled, placing her hoof on the cut only to see blood coming out. She ignored the wound and quickly ran, filled the bucket in the sink and ran back to Rarity’s room to put out the fire. When Sweetie Belle put out the fire Opalescence attacked, clawing her face and back, pulling out hair from her mane and tail, leaving Sweetie Belle bleeding worse than before crying on the floor “Why….. why you stupid cat…. I HATE YOU!” Sweetie threw the bucket at the cat, hitting it as it quickly ran away Sweetie Belle tended to her wounds and went to bed 9pm Tuesday Sweetie Belle had awoken earlier in the day with one goal. Cleaning up the mess from the night before…. it was not an easy task as there was no way to hide the burned carpet or curtains…. but at least she managed to remove the smell. Meanwhile Opalescence seemed to be hiding somewhere, hissing at her the entire day…..almost…..growling 1am Wednesday Sweetie Belle awoke to hear a window break…. a loud growl, almost demonic from the hall outside. She knew her door was locked and did not dare move the crashing and banging continued for several hours… going from crashing glass, to banging downstairs, to something banging on her own door….. whatever it was did not stop until the sun rose…. then she finally was able to catch some rest 2pm Wednesday Sweetie awoke from her slumber and proceeded out her door. seeing bloody claw marks and dents in her door, and an accompanying pool of blood. She continued downstairs to see claw marks down the walls, windows smashed and mirrors broken. The Boutique was a mess She went outside to retrieve the boards they used to barricade the windows for bad storms… and there she was, Opalescence. the cat was bloodied and bruised, with almost glowing red eyes… Sweetie quickly ran back inside and ran to her room…. she locked the door for the rest of the night and didn't come out 12am midnight, Thursday Sweetie Belle awoke in the night to a cold sensation and what appeared to be several pairs of glowing red eyes watching. Her blanket was missing and she felt covered in a sticky red substance…. “I-.....is this….Blood?” Sweetie Belle asked nervously as the growling and hissing began… “SHUT UP!” she shouted as the sound began to grow louder “MAKE IT STOP YOU DUMB CAT!” Sweetie shouted as she threw her hairbrush from the nightstand near her at a pair of eyes only for it to grow loud in the room….. Sweetie did not sleep until dawn 12am Friday Sweetie awoke violently from a nightmare…. or was it? Opalescence was in her dream...staring at her…. saying she would kill her “When rarity gets back, this cat is outta here” Sweetie said surely she walked to her mirror to find it covered in blood that reads “Opalescence” Sweetie stared at her wounds in the light from the lantern and it appeared they have grown dark, almost black in color, they gave her great pain and smelled awful….that's when she saw it in the mirror…… standing in her doorway “Opal?” she said nervously… the cat had blood dripping from its mouth, coating its claws “SWEETIE BELLE!” Opalescence shouted in a demonic voice as the cat lunged, hitting Sweetie Belle and slamming her head off the dresser, She kicked the cat off of her into the mirror as it let out a ear piercing growl. Sweetie ran to the stairs screaming only to have the cat quickly follow behind her and knock her down the stairs while clawing her endlessly… Sweetie Belle screamed as she used her magic to stab the cat with a nearby pair of scissors and it let go Sweetie ran for the door only to be pinned down by the cat “YOU WILL NOT ESCAPE ME!” Opal screamed again in the demonic voice as it began clawing Sweetie Belle’s eyes, face and neck. She screamed “SOMEPONY HELP ME” “NO ONE WILL COME FOR YOU, YOU STUPID FOAL” Sweetie realizing how desperate this was…. this cat would KILL her, she stuck her hoof out to find a broken shard of glass, she used her magic to grab it and stuck it into the eye of the cat as it spewed blood and let out a terrible scream, Sweetie Belle knew what she had to do. Sweetie continually stabbed the cat…. the one that had tormented her for this week, attacked her and attempted to burn down the Boutique She took great joy in dismembering this cat. ripping its flesh off with the glass shard until it was a bloody pulp… she did not stop until exhaustion gave in… and she passed out with the cat in view 3pm Friday Sweetie Belle was violently woken by a door slamming open “SWEETIE BELLE” Rarity shouted “WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!” “Rarity I can explain!” “Woah this place got trashed” Rainbow Dash said as she came in with Rarity, AJ, Fluttershy, Pinkie and Twilight “NO YOU SEE HERE! I LEAVE YOU FOR ONE WEEK AND YOU TRASH MY BOUTIQUE! HOW DARE YOU!” Rarity Screamed “But Rarity, it was Opal! She attacked me and tried to burn down the Boutique. she wouldn't stop so i stabbed her” “You did WHAT?!” Rarity said in shock “Where is Opal then?” Twilight asked Sweetie looked around in horror “NO NO NO NO, SHE WAS DEAD! Where did she go?” Sweetie belle said as she scanned the room only to see the blood stains covering the room “Sugarcube, we should call the nurse ponies” AJ motioned to Rainbow Dash as they went to fetch them “Sweetie Belle…. there's no way that opal could have done this” “BUT SHE DID RARITY!, SHE DID THIS TO ME!” Sweetie Belle cried “Sweetie, ENOUGH” Rarity said as AJ and Rainbow returned with the nurse ponies… to take Sweetie Belle away as the 6 ponies had a lot of cleaning up to do 3 Weeks Later Sweetie Belle was waiting in her cell in the Ponyville Mental Asylum when Twilight entered “Twilight!” Sweetie shouted “Hello Sweetie Belle, i have some bad news for you” “What…. what's wrong Twilight” Sweetie belle said in a worried voice “Its… Rarity was….pronounced dead yesterday morning when the Boutique burned down… a unicorn’s remains were identified as hers” “Why…..how?” Sweetie cried “We don't know that. I wish we knew something but we don't, we’ll let you know when we find out something Sweetie Belle” Twilight said as she hugged Sweetie Belle “I’m sorry to bear this news, but i am the head of the investigation. i figured you had the right to know. I’m sorry” Twilight said as she left the cell and locked the door Midnight “Sweetie Belle…….Sweeeeeetie Bellllle” “Huh?, Who…….” Sweetie Belle heard banging on her window “No…...No….. I KILLED YOU!!!” Sweetie Belle screamed to the window…. which standing within the frame on the other side of the window was…..the cat The cat she had killed was back. A bloody, scarred and rotten corpse, but it was her Opalescence “And I killed your sister… maybe she should have listened to you” aid Opal n the still demonic voice “DIE YOU STUPID CAT” Sweetie said “Oh but i already did Sweetie Belle, now i'm back to torment you for the rest of your life” “I’ll get out of here, and when i do…” “You’ll what? kill me again…. i'm so sure they'll let you out after your little psychotic break” Opal Laughed “No…..” “Oh Sweetie Belle, How much fun you’ll have here…..with me” “SOMEPONY HELP ME!” Sweetie cried for help. But nopony could hear her...nor would they believe her…. she did kill a cat and try to burn down Rarity’s Boutique after all Author's Note I wrote this as a challenge to write something short, with quality and tells a full story I thought it would take maybe an hour This took almost 3 hours, guess quality does take a good amount of time
