Gemini: Self Love

Authors Note: Sorry for the short little intro, I'll get to the good stuff soon. :3

Pinkie Pie was in an excellent mood today, the birds were chirping the sun shining bright and everypony in Ponyville seemed happy. Nothing could wipe the smile off of her face or take away the bound in her hop. Well, that’s what she thought anyway. The bubble gum coloured mare bounced along the road giving out cheerful hellos and afternoons to everypony she passed. She wished she could stop and actually chat with them, but she was on a mission. Like a ninja. She told herself, instantly hopping on one foot and drawing her hooves around her in a fast motion. A delivery ninja!

Plopping back down to the ground Pinkie continued to bounce along, normally it was Derpy’s job to deliver but Mr. and Mrs. Cake didn’t trust special cake goods with such a clutzy pony. Nope siree bob, Pinkie looked over her shoulder to check the box, it was safely secured, no ordinary clutzy pony for this job! Hm, I wonder who Bob is? She thought to herself but the thought didn’t stay long as it went off on another tangent.

It shamed Pinkie a bit towards how she acted to Zecora in the beginning so now she was glad they were better friends. She was also glad Zecora loved Mr. and Mrs. Cakes baked goods and ordered them on occasion for delivery. It gave Pinkie more excuses to go visit her Zebra friend, though sometimes she got the feeling the Zebra would rather spend time alone... Nah! That’s crazy thinking going on in your head Pinkie! She let out a giggle at her foolish thought and shook her candy coloured mane. Everypony loves my visits!

The trot through Everfree forest went by quickly and Pinkie was at Zecora’s door stop before she could say Flubbermeisterboredom with a mouthful of cookies. “Hello, Zecora I’m here with your sweets!” She called out, “I’m coming in I want to see your face when you bite into the super-duper delicious cakes.” Pinkie pushed open the door with her head and walked into her foreign friend’s home. The place looked abandoned of life and a large cauldron was bubbling in the middle. “Zecora?” Pinkie Pie walked into the middle of the room and looked around. “Are we playing hide and seek, oh! What fun, I sure love hide and seek!”

The pink mare placed the box of goodies on the ground and started to look around the small room. “Are you under here!” She shouted, throwing back a mask on the wall then doing the same with the others. “Nope…Not there.” Pinkie looked under the table, in the urns and vases, a

nd in all the rooms. “Wow Zecora, you’re the hide and seek champion! You can come out now.” Pinkie Pie waited for a few seconds before sighing, “ah, I see what you’re doing!” She began pacing about with a mysteriously appeared bubble pipe stuck in her mouth. “You’re not hiding are you? You’ve vanished! And it’s up to Detective Pinkie Pie to find where you have gone!” I’ll start looking around for some clues.” Eye to the floor with a newly acquired magnifying glass Pinkie followed a trail of dry herbs on the ground that led to the cauldron. “Hmm, quite thought provoking.” She said to herself, rising up and throwing away her tools. Placing her front hooves on the cauldron Pinkie Pie looked in. The potion was a light sapphire colour and shone with bright sparkles. “Whoaaaaa, this is so beautiful…” She inhaled the scent that arose from it. “Oh, it smells super delicious too!” Casting sneaky eyes around the room Pinkie Pie leaned in and stuck her tongue out letting it touch the tip of the potion. It tasted nothing lip rainbows but a lot like zap apples.

Like the wild maniac she is Pinkie Pie dunked her head straight into the cauldron and took a large gulp, swallowing it before she came back up to the surface. Smacking her lips Pinkie Pie shook her wild pink mane dry from the liquid and bounded out of the house. She felt refreshed and the thought of Zecora was no longer on her mind. Instead she had something else…Wait, what’s on my mind? Pinkie scrunched up her face trying to find the thought, but it slipped away before she could grasp it. Hmm…Oh well.

Pinkie Pie bounced back to Ponyville unaware of what she just consumed.
