Chapters James Afton drove his supercharged 1970 Dodge Charger to Canterlot High.After he arrived,he went to the entrance of the school and entered.
He met with a girl with yellow skin,wearing a purple shirt with a black jacket,she walked towards him.
"Hey,are you the new student that I'll be taking you a tour around the school ?",she asked.
"Yup,that's me",said Afton.
"So what's your name ?",she asked.
"James Afton,you ?",he asked.
"Sunset Shimmer,nice to meet you.",she answered.
They both shake their hands and Sunset started taking Afton touring around the school.
Halfway through the tour,Sunset asked him,
"Hey,why do you have that robotic left arm ?"
"Well,I was born without the left arm,so my father decided to make a robotic one with a screen panel on it,I was very happy when I have it.Ever since I got it,I've been walking around with this thing.",said Afton.
"Cool,your father must be an inventor !",said Sunset.
"Yeah,he was,until he died from getting hit by a drunk driver.",said Afton.
"Oh,I'm sorry to hear that.",said Sunset.
"That's okay,I can live without my father around.However,I still miss him though...",said Afton.
"Yeah,but let's continue the tour",said Sunset.
1 hour later,Sunset completed the tour for Afton.Before she walked away,she said to him,
"Well,it's very nice to see you Afton, hopefully that we can hang out together though."
"You too,Sunset !",said Afton.
After Sunset walked away from him,he decided to find an empty locker so he can start the day.
After he found an empty locker,he said,
"Good,an empty one,now let's put my stuff in so I can start my day right now."
But while he is putting his stuff in the locker,Rainbow Dash uses her super speed to find the doors that led to the school field so she can't be late like her team,as they will be competing against the Shadowbolts from Crystal Prep for a football competition.However,as she's running in the hallways,she ultimately hit hard on Afton's left robotic arm,resulting him and her fell to the ground,but for Afton,he instantly passed out.
Afton eventually woke up in the nurse's office,he instantly felt the pain from the back of his head,slowing opening his eyes and looking up a ceiling fan.He got up immediately ask Nurse Redheart,
"Ah ! My head.Ugh.Where am I ?"
"Oh,you're in my office.",she said.
"Well,what happened ?",Afton asked her.
"Rainbow Dash hit you when she was running in the hallways,so someone has to bring you to my office.",she said.
"Wait,who's Rainbow Dash ?",Afton asked.
"Rainbow Dash is a rainbow-haired girl,and very good at sports.You don't know ?",said Nurse Redheart.
"I'm new here,so I don't know.",he answered.
"Oh,I'm sorry.",said Nurse Redheart.
"Well,can't I go out now ?",Afton asked.
"Sure,I already wrapped a bandage around your head,but be careful next time.",she said.
"Yeah,yeah.",said Afton.
Afton left the nurse's office,and said to himself,
"I'm gonna find her right now,wanted to confront her."
As Afton started searching for Rainbow Dash,Fluttershy saw Afton with the bandage around his head,she was very alarmed and thinking that he has a concussion or something far worse.She walked up to him and ask him,
"Hey,are you ok to walk around like that ?"
"Yeah,I'm ok,I can handle the pain,got hit so hard by someone else while I was putting my stuff in my locker,almost like a car speeding 180 mph towards me.",said Afton.
"You mean Rainbow Dash ?",said Fluttershy.
"Wait,you know Rainbow Dash ?",Afton asked her.
"Yes,I'm her friend.",said Fluttershy.
"So,do you know where she is right now ?",Afton asked her.
"Yeah,she is now at the school field, playing against the Shadowbolts.",she said.
"Ok,thanks !",said Afton.
"Oh yeah,before I go,what's your name ?",he asked Fluttershy.
"Me,my name's Fluttershy,you ?",she said.
"James Afton,nice to see you and thanks for telling me,I gotta go now !",said Afton as he starts running to find the doors that led to the school field.
In Fluttershy's thoughts,she said,
"Why would he find Rainbow Dash ? Did she did something wrong ?"
Meanwhile,at the school field,Twilight ( Sci-Twi ),Applejack,Rarity and Pinkie Pie are sitting on the bleachers along with the students to watch the football competition.
When they're watching the competition,Applejack ask Twilight,
"Twilight,how does it feel now when your watching your old school team now gets blasted by the famous Wondercolts ?"
"Oh it's been great,and plus,it's only been 2 weeks after the Friendship Games,many people including you guys has been really nice and accepted me !",said Twilight.
"We're really glad your here.",said Rarity.
"Ooooo,round 3 is about to start ! Keep your eyes open girls !",said Pinkie Pie.
In the school hallways,James Afton was having a hard time trying to find the doors that led to the school field,despite he remembered Sunset Shimmer had given him the tour earlier,but his injury knocked his head so hard,making him difficult to remember where the doors are.
When he finally found it,he said,
"Finally,I found it !"
He opened the doors,revealing the school field,he look around and he saw Rainbow Dash and said,
"Hmmm,rainbow-hair girl,that must be her.Time to confront her."
As Afton started walking towards Rainbow Dash,Applejack saw him and ask the girls,
"Hey guys,is that the person that Rainbow Dash hit him ?"
"What do you mean ?",Rarity asked her.
"You mean that boy that has a robotic arm now walking towards Rainbow Dash ?",said Pinkie Pie.
"Your right,Pinkie ! That must be him ! He's walking towards Rainbow Dash, probably wanted to confront her !",said Twilight.
"You know what ? I'm going down there before it gets worse.",said Applejack.
She ran down the bleachers and Twilight said,
"Wait for me !",as she follows Applejack.
At the field,just as the coach start to blow his whistle,Afton interrupted the game and shouted,
"HEY ! Are you the rainbow-hair girl called Rainbow Dash ?"
Rainbow Dash turned around and saw him,she realized that's the person she hit him earlier,she panicked,but calmed at the same time,she said to him,
"Yeah,that's me ! What do you want ?"
"You're the one that hit me earlier ! Even made me passed out ! Not only you made me passed out,I could've had a concussion or brain damage ! Or worse,You could've also KILLED me !!!",Afton shouted angrily at her.
Rainbow Dash felt her chest got stabbed instantly by the words that Afton said.She eventually felt embarrassed,right in front of her team.Then,Applejack and Twilight came,Applejack said to him,
"Now now,Sugercube ! Calm down !!! You don't need to mad at her,she only hit you because she didn't see you !"
"Listen ! She did not just hit me,she also made me passed out earlier ! Can't you see this bandage around my head ?!! I could have a concussion or worse ? Getting KILLED !!!!",Afton shouted angrily back at Applejack.
"Calm down ! Applejack was right,Rainbow Dash didn't see you while she was running.Please,just give her a chance !",said Twilight to him.
After Afton heard Twilight's words,he sighed.Then,Rainbow Dash said to him,
"Alright,I'm sorry for hitting you.I know I injured your head.But please,just give me another chance..."
Afton sighed again and said to her,
"Ok,I'll give you another chance,but don't do that again,please."
After that,the coach shouted,
"Alright,enough with this drama already ! We're now starting,so get off the field."
As Afton went to the bleachers with Twilight and Applejack and got sat down,
"Oh I cannot believe the way you confronted Rainbow Dash,you just disgusted me !"
"Yeah ! The way you confronted her,you're more like a party pooper !",said Pinkie Pie to him.
"Girls ! Don't say like that ! He only lost his temper,just give him a chance !",said Applejack to them.
"Fine.",said Rarity and Pinkie Pie.
"So,what are your names ?",Afton asked them.
"Oh,my name's Twilight,but sometimes others call me Sci-Twi.And my three other friends are Applejack,Rarity and Pinkie Pie.Yours ?",said Twilight.
"James Afton,nice to meet you all of you.",said Afton as he and the girls shake their hands.
"Guys the game started !",shouted Pinkie Pie to them.
As the competition continued,while Twilight and her friends,including most of the CHS students,continued to cheer,Afton didn't do anything at all except sitting and scrolling on his phone to check on Twitter,but at the same time,he also regretted for losing his temper towards Rainbow Dash and Applejack.
It's now the end of the day,students at CHS started packing their stuff from their lockers to go home,so as Afton.But he still regretted the way he confronted Rainbow Dash,he really wish that he could apologize to her.However,he thought that she already hated him after what happened at the field earlier.
But for Rainbow Dash,she felt very guilty after hitting Afton earlier,she also wanted to talk with him.But just like he thought,hated her at the same time.
After Afton packed some of his stuff,he closed his locker and started walking towards the exit of the school.While walking,he said,
"Ugh.What a day,got my head injured,lost my temper towards an athlete and a student earlier.Wish I can talk to her,but no turning back now."
As he exited the school so he go to his car,Rainbow Dash was at the statue,waiting for Afton.When she saw him exited the school,she shouted at him,
"Afton !"
He looked up and it was Rainbow Dash,she walk towards him and ask him,
"Afton,can we talk,please ?"
"Sure,why not ?",he said.
After having a long conversation and Afton apologize to Rainbow Dash,she forgives him.After that,Afton said to her,
"Well,I gotta go to my car right now so I can get back home."
"You mean that ?",said Rainbow Dash as she pointed at the Dodge Charger.
"Yeah,that's mine.",he said.
"Gotta go now,see you later !'',said Afton as he walk towards his car.
"You too !",said Rainbow Dash.
However,when he was about to open the car door.He turned around said to Rainbow Dash,
"Oh yeah,Rainbow Dash,one more thing before I go."
"What's that ?",she asked.
"Even though such a pretty girl is right in front of me,my only obsession is cars.",said Afton.
Rainbow Dash was a little bit surprised by those words.Afton eventually got into his car,starts it before he drove away.Rainbow Dash just looked at Afton's car as he go straight,turned left and drive away.In her thoughts,she said,
"Man,I love the way he called me pretty,makes me feel awesome,but is he obsessed with cars ?"
Meanwhile,after Afton got home,he already sat on the couch at the living room and playing his video game,Call of Duty : Modern Warfare on his PS4 Pro.But after he finished playing it for 30 minutes,so he can go to sleep early.He went to his bedroom and lied down on his bed.In his thoughts,he said,
"Hm,first day was not good at all,the whole school might already know what happened earlier at the football competition,plus everyone is gonna find me and beat the shit out of me next day.But no choice,tomorrow is another day."
