Of all the sports in Equestria, one of the more prominent is Beyblade, a game where two or more top-like objects clash with one another to determine the winner. And of all the people familiar with it, none appear to know more than Twilight Sparkle, who seems to prefer learning about the game than actually playing it.

However, that all changes when her mentor, Princess Celestia, sends to oversee preparations for the annual Summer Beyblade Festival. Not only that, but she also wants Twilight to participate in the festivals main event: a beyblade tournament. Through many hard-fought battles, Twilight will know what it means to possess the heart of a true blader.

(Though this story will take place in a humanized Equestria, the characters will not be using any magic whatsoever.)
