Fear
It was all the Changeling pirate Captain could feel as he swam to the surface of the water, and as he breached the surface he gasped for air.
He looked around to see any familiar faces but what he saw instead, filled him with even more fear, his mighty vessel, burning as she slipped beneath the waves, with all her crew screaming in pain, the Captain felt this pain leek into him through his hive mind, wincing as he shed a tear.
"Bloody hell." He spoke with a thick accent.
He stared at what remains of his vessel till she fully sunk into the deep, dragging her crew with her.
Emerald swam towards a piece of his ship, just big enough to have him sit on it, Emerald couldn't hold back his sorrow, he broke down.
"After all I've done, I couldn't protect ye me mates. I brought you all into this...." He cried.
"Aye, but the dept, still has yet to be paid." A familiar voice spoke, a voice that filled Emerald with dread.
"WHAT MORE DO YA WANT, YOU'VE ALREADY TAKEN EVERY BLOODY THING!" Emerald yelled as he turned to face this familiar voice.
It looked like a changeling, but it was different, instead of the normal chitin a changeling has, it had a multiple small sea creatures all over him with his face and beard made out of a squid. Emerald knew this face all too well.
It was Davy Jones.
"Part of the ship..." He raised his sword
"No! Please, I need more time!" Emerald pleaded.
"...Part of the crew!" Davy said as he swiped down hard with his saber
"NOOO!"
Emerald woke with a heavily beating heart and baked in his sweat.
He was still in his Captains Cabin on his ship. He and his crew were still alive
"Cap'n! The first mate needs ya."
Emerald heard through the hive mind.
"Aye, let him know I'll be up in a bit."
"Yes me Cap'n!"
After a short bit, Emerald got himself out of his bed, and went over to grab his stuff. His cabin was filled with so many things from voyages past, a couple of maps of varius places, a compass, a few golden trinkets here and there, and a large table with his jacket, guns, his two cutlasses and his old bi-corne hat, a huge model of his ship sat on the vary end of the table, looking just as beautiful as the real one.
Emerald put on his long jacket, stuffed his four flintlock pistols in his holsters, and seathed his swords.
Before he put on his hat he decided to give his mane and mutton chops a good run through with the comb, his green hair having gone all over the place in his restless sleep.
As he finished with his beard, he uses his magic to tie in a few of his favorite beads into a few strands of his slightly less messy beard. He put on his hat and as the Captain started to head out onto the main deck, he grabbed a small bottle of rum in his magic, took one long hearty swigg, and opened up his doors to the main deck.
As he walked out onto the deck he heard all of his crew working on making the ship spotless. Emerald breathed in a lung full of the salty sea air as the breeze blew on past his face and through his long green mane, he let out the captured air from his lungs and started to head towards the helm were his second in command sat, Emerald walked past his changeling crew his tall form rising above them all. As he made it to the helm he saw his first mate, a dark colored dragon with a gun strapped to his chest and a saber at his side.
"Ahoy Captain." The dragon spoke
"Ahoy Golden, what be the problem that needs me attention." The Captain asked.
"Well, we are runn'n low on supplies and some of the crew are want'n to get back ashore as quickly as possible." Golden scale replied
Emerald sighed
"Have the scouts come back with anything yet?" Emerald asked.
"Aye, they found'n abandoned port town just north'o here. It seems to have just what we need to make it back to our islands." Golden scale answered.
"Alright, get the crew ready, and plot a course." The Captain told his first mate
"Aye, Captain. Get yer arses movin, we're heading out to make port!"
The Captain watched as the crew scrambled to get to their stations. Emerald took ahold of the helm and yelled
"FULL SAIL LADS, FULL SAIL!"
As commanded, all the sails fell and the mighty frigate lurched forward towards her destination, the black ship with green sails was Emerald's flagship, with fifty hefty cannons, two motars, six swivels and a capacity of a hundred and fifty crew on board, she was a sight to behold.
Her name, The Emerald Eclipse.
"Why don't we sing a shanty me heartys!" Emerald yelled from the helm

Now we are ready to sail for the horn!
