In a world of eternal darkness, Queen Nightmare Moon of Equestria faces a criminal. Any memorabilia of symbolism of Celestia and the sun are banned, and a young unicorn mare has a cutie mark of a love heart surrounded by rays of sunlight. Usually, anypony with a cutie mark of the sun would be executed on the spot, but this mare is different and shines a new light on the Queen's world.
