His weak arm carefully wiped the sweat off of his brow, almost sliding his hat off in the process. Next to him was a cart full of cylinder planks that were going to be used for tonight’s campfire. After the long rants from Gloriosa, which bored him to death about the fact that he needed a guide to help him, Timber simply refused. He knew that he was capable of aiding his own needs as any man should. Flinging the axe into the carved tree stump, he quickly dusted off his hands making sure the sweet smell of the earth didn’t overcrowd him. The night was indeed peaceful. The sky was painted with a dark indigo glow, millions of sparkles lit up the world around him. Coyote calls and loud yipping of the foxes added to the late night tune as Timber pushed the cart with his rough hands humming a sweet well-known tune. To break the warm silence, the snapping of twigs broke Timber’s concentration to the point where he was indeed terrified. He knew he wasn’t alone anymore so he grabbed his hefty axe letting his fingers firmly grip the throat of the handle. Not noticing the figure behind him, a soft spoken masculine voice fluttered into Timber’s ears, scaring his terror away. But of course when adrenaline takes over you, there’s nothing you can do about it. Timber gave a loud yelp, causing the birds in the woods to fly away to his echo leaving the male figure behind him to jump in fright. Timber swung his entire body around along with his axe, letting out a high pitched squeal only to see a familiar face inches away from him. A dark sangria flush crept upon his cheeks once the figure started to reveal itself. The blue haired guitar player just leaned against the bark of a large pine tree, giving Timber a collective smirk. “I knew I would find you here,” The male laughed, making his way closer to his embarrassed friend. “Not that I asked Gloriosa.” “Y-Yea, sure you didn’t,” Timber let out a laugh trying his best to keep his cool. He’s been crushing on Flash ever since the first time he had to introduce himself in front of the whole campsite. Although his emeralds were glued to Twilight, the handsome stud clearly stood out to Timber the most. His defined cheekbones, carving his dimples that stood out the most in the bright light, his sapphires aligning with Timber’s emeralds gave his heart a satisfying beat once Flash’s cobalt blue haircut added perfectly to the equation. His sexy bod stood out the most everytime Flash would chase a few laps around the camp. His t-shirt soaking with his sweat, trickling down his face, arms, and legs made Timber oogle him in every which way. Not to mention the steaming musk that left Flash’s body, tingled Timber’s nose wanting that smell rubbing against him. “Well I did want to check up on you and see what was taking you so long,” Flash laughed before he continued. “But I see you already have everything under control.” Flash cocked his head to the side seeing the cart full of the pine planks and the axe between Timber’s fingers. Timber tried his best to not lose his cool whenever Flash could deliver a smirk after every statement. “Well I guess you can say that. I’m pretty sure Gloriosa and the others are worried sick about me huh?” “I wouldn’t say worried,” Flash walked over to help Timber with the rest of the wood. “I actually came out here to see if you needed any help.” A slight cough escaped Flash’s lips making his cheeks form a soft shade of carnation pink making Timber’s face increase with heat. He always dreamed of Flash blushing and how it would look in his eyes, and those dreams finally came true. “Wow thanks Flash for helping me out here, it’s not easy being the only one that does this all by myself haha.” Timber felt a lump in his throat realizing that he was getting too much on the soft side. Flash stared into his flourishing emerald pupils, delivering a comforting smile that melted Timber’s heart. “I totally understand where you are coming from, it’s honestly not easy going through things on your own, but don’t worry bro, I got your back,” Flash nudged Timber’s arm, giving it a light punch which sent shivers down his spine. Spectacular shivers at that. He didn’t want to admit it, but he really wished Flash could touch him again. Maybe somewhere even lower than his arm. More heat exploded onto Timber’s cheeks at the wonderful offer before giving Flash a modest wink. “Haha, I greatly appreciate that Flash, thank you so much!” The two shared glances at one another, letting the moonlight shimmer on their faces, creating a romantic setting for the two. They didn’t want this feeling to end because for some reason, both of their hearts matched each other in perfect sync, blending both harmonious melodies that made their hearts align in the affectionate tune. But of course, this moment had to end since the camp needed the wood for the bonfire they were supposed to have. “We better head back before the others believe that Gaia Everfree has held us captive,” Flash snickered, making Timber add a couple of chuckles on his own. The fact that Flash remembered his campfire story from the other night really made Timber crack a heartwarming smile. The two started trekking their way back to the main campsite because he wasn't in the mood for his sister to start ringing down his phone. Throughout their small nature walk, the two began to draw closer to each other as if they knew each other for many years. Flash spent the night talking about his love for nature and how herbs are good for the body, while Timber just let his eyes watch his precious prize possession speak with that husky voice of his. In that moment Timber had an epiphany. He realized that he wanted Flash in his life for eternity and would do anything to win his heart. Fin~
