Shortly after Twilight Sparkle's coronation as Princess, the newest Headmare of the School of Friendship decides to visit the Changeling Kingdom to better align with King Thorax. Meanwhile, Starlight Glimmer's Vice Headmare -- the former Crystaller Sunburst -- decides to tag along in hopes of doing research for his novel in progress.

Unfortunately, the stallion soon finds himself trapped in an unexpected cave-in, which leaves him isolated in a small cavern with no means of escape. All he can hope to do is wait for rescue alongside the cave's only other trapped individual: General Pharynx.

Even though the changeling could easily find a means of escape himself, he's not willing to leave a pony like Sunburst completely alone without assistance. But as the two try to begrudgingly make small-talk, the topics soon turn rather personal for both of them. Luckily though, that also leads to the two deciding to quell their boredom in the most personal -- and also most physical -- means possible...
