Sunset shimmer runs over a cat. Specifically, a brown tabby cat named Taco. And guess what? Taco is owned by Sonata Dusk, one of the sirens. After taking the sirens to the vet, Sunset finds out that the dazzlings have been living in their van, which isn't working. Feeling very guilty after almost killing their cat, Sunset invites them to live with her until they are stable enough.
