It has been one hour after the devastating and traumatizing onslaught when Alistair attacked Emrald and nearly bit her hoof off. His parents have been informed with a letter and they were both very shocked to hear what just happened, but Twilight was the more scandalized one.

The changeling and friendship King Thorax and friendship and changeling Queen Twilight have just arrived at the Ponyville schoolhouse and entered, only to see an enraged mare who is known as Emrald's mother, Viper, Screwball, Precious, Twirax and Cheerlie. And the five of them had concerned looks on their muzzles.

Alistair is just sitting on the stairs of the schoolhouse while looking down on the concrete floor in mortification on what he has done to Emrald, all because he lost control of his instincts that he has no idea on how to control. Even while outside, he could hear the intense disputing between his parents and Emrald's mother.

"Look what your son has done to my daughter!" Emrald's mother yelled viciously at King Thorax and Queen Twilight Sparkle while she was pointing at her daughter who had a white bandage around her right hoof. She had a scar behind it as well.

"Look miss, he is still young, we didn't teach him how to control his instincts yet." Twilight told her sternly.

"That's still no excuse for what that monstrosity did to my daughter!" She yelled.

Cheerlie was truly appalled at the cold reply from Emrald's mother, how could she say something so impudent to a young foal.

Thorax and Twilight were shocked when they heard her reply, then Twilight's shocked expression slowly turned into an enraged one.

"How dare you talk about my son like that?!"

"Nopony goes unpunished when they insult my kids and family." Thorax growled in a vicious tone.

"Calm down you three! Using brute force is not going to solve anything!" Cheerlie shouted.

When Thorax, Twilight and Emrald's mother heard this, they all bregrudingly sighed in defeat and had to cease their dispute, otherwise a daunting conflict would commence. Emrald's mother turned around and left with her daughter in vexation.

After Twirax delineated what had happened today at school, Thorax and Twilight could understand why Alistair lashed out at Emrald and maimed her so badly, he only wanted to protect her, Viper, Screwball and Precious, but in order to do that, his instincts took over him and he lost control.

"How could we let this happen?" Twilight asked with a disconsolate expression.

When Thorax noticed his wife's depression, he pulled her in and nuzzled her affectionately, and in attempt to console her. And Twilight hugged back.

"Calm down Twily."

"Queen Twilight, I assume that you know how to deal with this right?" Cheerlie asked.

Twilight slowly released herself from her husband and said "Y-yes miss Cheerlie, me and Thorax will have a conversation with him."

Cheerlie nodded and said "Alright, now you are free to go."

"Twirax." Twilight called her daughter, and she stood up from her chair and walked to her mother after she has said goodbye to her friends.

Alistair heard the sound of the school doors opening behind him, he turned around and saw his father, mother and big sister standing in front of him, and he looked up at them with a shameful expression. When Thorax and Twilight noticed this, they didn't decide to scold him or anything, instead they calmed themselves down and looked down at Alistair with a warm smile.

"Come on let's go." Twilight said softly as she bent down and lifted her son up with her magic and placed him on her back. Then, they headed back home.

Once they were back home, the family sat in the living room chairs around a dining table. Thorax and Twilight decided give Alistair a bowl of cereal and milk to eat so that he could relieve his stress and calm him down. When they put the bowl in front of him, he didn't even touch it, instead he kept looking down on the table with a shameful expression.

"Alistair, what's wrong?" Twilight asked her son in a soft tone "Those are your favorite cereal." She told him.

"I'm not hungry." Alistair said quietly as he slowly nudged the bowl of cereal away from him.

"Honey, are you still very sad about what has happened today?" Twilight asked him.

"Yes." Alistair said quietly with an anxious nod "And I'm sorry, I snafued everything on my first day." He finished with a shameful expression.

"No no no, don't be sorry, we should be the ones to apologize." Twilight told him, and Alistair raised in eyebrow in bewilderment when he heard that.

"We didn't train you on how to control your instincts yet." She informed him "We were the ones who were temerarious." She said.

"Yeah, it was like the time I got nervous when I was a young drone, I lost control of things and I made dozens of mistakes." Thorax chuckled, and Alistair managed to smile back.

"Anyways, promise us that you will not hurt any ponies even if they are mean to you and your big sister?" Twilight asked.

"I won't mom, I won't." Alistair said with a shake of his head and a warm smile.

"That's my son." Twilight said as she gently patted his head and nuzzled him.

"Alright, right now you need some rest to relieve more of your frustration on what has happened today." Thorax counselled.

"Alright, we'll end the conversation here, now go to your room and rest, you'll need it." Twilight said with a smile.

Alistair nodded and got off his seat, he then turned around and walked to the living room doors. Once he got to them, he pushed them open and exited, he made a left turn and walked up the stairs to his bedroom.

Ten seconds later, Alistair has reached his room door. He gripped onto the handle with his magic and pushed it open. After that, he stepped into his room and walked to his bed. And finally, he lied down on top of his bed with a heavy sigh. He then slowly closed his eyes and went to bed.

Twirax has slowly followed Alistair into his bedroom stealthily with her invisibility magic. She cautiously advanced towards Alistair's bed so that she wouldn't make any noises and wake him up, once she got 5 centimeters from it, she looked down at her little brother and saw him snoring softly and sleeping comfortably in bed while hugging his teddy bear. And the sight gave her a warm smile.

"Alistair, I'm sorry for what has happened today." Twirax said quietly as she gently stroked his head with her right hoof "I promise that you will have an even better day tomorrow." She finished sternly, she then leaned in and nuzzled her little brother's forehead.

After five seconds, she lifted her head up, pulled the blanket on top of him, turned around and walked to her brother's room door. When she got to it, she gripped onto the door handle with her magic and pushed it open. Then, she exited her little brother's bedroom, and gently closed it from behind.
