To those on the outside world, this meant that festivities were near where family and friends share fond memories of good times. But to me, it was only a representation of another year passing in this godless place. Though the trees only reminded me of my imprisonment, I still yearned to be able to walk among them and feel their rough bark and smooth leaves. However, only those with special privileges were allowed to explore the garden, and due to my... special circumstances, I was not one of those people. Having enough of my self-torment, I raised myself from my sitting position and examined my room as I did every morning. Like most of the others, my room was a standard 10ft x 15ft living space. The only things I was allowed to have was a small cot, a mirror and the clothes on my back. Walking towards said mirror, I checked myself over for any further corruption. Lifting my white shirt, I involuntarily flinched at the blackened shape on my torso. Everyday it become more defined and bigger, a sign that he was winning. Rolling up my pant leg, I was only slightly glad that it was still bare of any sign of corruption. 'I hate this part...' Reaching for the gas mask encasing my head, I unlocked all the seals and pressurized locks adorning the neck and lifted it off my head. At first, all I did was look at my face, or at least part of it. Moving the stray black hairs from my eyes, I let out a small gasp at what was in front of me. The upper right part of my face was a lifeless black. It even reached the upper part of my eye, which only reflected pure white. And then the voice came again. Do you like what I've done? Ignoring the voice, I quickly put my mask back on. Letting out a tired sigh, I readied myself for the tests that were to be performed on me. At 8:00 a.m., I heard the footsteps of the warden as I did every morning. "001!", he shouted. All the response he got was a simple thud like every other day. "002!" This time a heavy Russian accent responded him. "Da." The voice said. This pattern repeated, whether it was a thud or a voice that responded, he took roll call. When he got to me, I only gave a simple grunt to alert him of my presence. As he moved onto 020, something felt off. "020!, he shouted. There was no response, which was very odd, 020 was usually the most talkative. The few times I met him during testing were some of the most annoying minutes of my life. He would always prattle on about something of his past. Besides him being an annoyance, I never saw or felt anything strange from him. He did seem more deep in thought the past few weeks though, almost as if he had been planning something.... Before I could finish my thoughts however, the wardens voice boomed in a threatening tone. "020, RESPOND!" Even with the warden's temper rising, there was still silence. This peaked my curiosity, making me press the side of my head to the wall to hear any sign of 020. 'Maybe the poor bastard finally killed himself. Can't blame him, anyone who's locked up in here goes crazy sooner or later, even me.... Wait, what's that noise?' Pressing my head closer, a low but constant hum emitted from the other side of the wall. The humming only grew in intensity as it became more louder, almost as if it were charging up... 'SHIT!' As I finally realized what was happening, the warden did as well. From my guess, the warden probably already had his communicator out by now. "Subject 020 is attempting escape, I repeat, subject 02-" His voice was cut off by a booming sound which was followed by the sound of metal ripping off hinges and the sickening crunch of flesh and bones being torn and broken. For a moment there was complete silence. This silence however was broken by the soft sounds of footsteps walking away. 'That crazy bastard actually escaped... Which means...' Unlocking my mask and taking it off, I placed it to the side as I felt a wave of power wash over me. Concentrating, I moved the flow of energy into my arms, which in turn caused them to be surrounded by a black aura. Having some fun are we? "Shut up.", I said aloud. Walking towards the steel door, I brought both my hands back behind my head. Tensing my arms, I swung them at the door, which went flying into the opposing wall. Picking up my mask and placing it on, I moved through the open doorway and observed the damage. Spotting my own door rather quickly, I noticed 020's door a few feet away, with a pool of blood surrounding it. Satisfied for now, I sprinted down the corridor. 'With 020 having all the heat on him, I have enough time to reach 057.' Keeping an eye on the numbers placed on the doors I sprinted past, I was glad to be at 055 already. In my excitement though, I failed to notice the guard in front of me. "Return back to your cell!" She shouted at me. I simply stood there, dumbfounded at how close I was to freedom, yet so far away. As I stood there, the guard reached towards her belt, where she pulled out a whip. 'Calm down, it's just whip' Well it was a whip, until the guard switched it on, making it come to life in a dazzling effect of electricity. 'Shit, it's all or nothing now.' Tensing my legs, I went into a mad dash, trying to charge the guard. The guard only looked at me with tired eyes. "Idiot.", she said as she pulled her arm back. Bringing her arm down in a arc, she twisted the whip mid swing, causing it to lash out to the side. Unprepared for this, the whip wrapped around my neck, sending a strong current of electricity throughout my body. As my body went into a spasm, I fell to my knees, clawing at my neck to pry off the whip. The guard seemed rather neutral to the pain I showed considering she was just waiting for me to pass out. The next thing that happened though both enraged and pleased me. The constant surge around my neck managed to malfunction the locks on my mask, causing it to fall off. Feeling a renewed energy, my whole body became surround by that sadly familiar black aura. Slowly standing up, I yanked at the whip still attached to me, causing the guard to fly towards me. As she landed at my feet, I unwrapped the whip from my neck and threw it to the side. Time to teach the bitch a lesson, right? Grabbing the front of her neck, I lifted her easily into the air. Bringing my free hand back, I plunged it into her stomach, easily bypassing the cloth and body armor encasing her. Feeling around her intestines, I dug deeper until I could feel her spinal cord. Looking at her face, it was quite obvious she was in pain, and there was even a constant flow of blood escaping from her mouth. It angered me that he was enjoying every second of it. With a strong tug, I ripped out her spine and threw her to the ground. Picking up my mask, I placed it back on, though without the locks to keep it in place it shifted a lot. Looking over my body, there were no major injuries inflicted onto me, although I was covered in blood. Walking to the guard's corpse, I searched her body for any thing that could come in handy. Searching the various pockets and compartments on her, I managed to find a passkey to the prison doors and even a few snacks. With time of the essence though, I opted with just taking her belt and figuring out what was in it later. I also picked up the whip and put it into its respective slot on the belt. With 057's room in front of me, I placed the passkey into its slot, which caused the door to swing open. What I saw in front of me was a pathetic image. 057 was in a corner crying. His hair was a mess and he smelled like shit. 'Too bad he lost his mind, but it does make this easier.' Walking towards him, I grabbed him by his collar. "Listen, I'm gonna break your collar, but you're gonna get us both out of here or I'll kill you, got it?", I said in a calm voice. 057 seemed to understand as he slowly nodded his head. Taking off my mask, I held onto the sides of 057's collar. With a slight pull, it broke into two. Putting my mask back on, I noticed a faint glow coming from 057 until it was almost blinding. 'The bastard is trying to go without me!' With my only chance of freedom about to go away, I tackled 057. As I made contact with him, there was a sensation of my body being torn apart and spread into nothingness. Yet only mere seconds later, I felt myself being pulled back together in an instant. It was very unpleasant. Opening my eyes, I saw that I was laying on top of 057. Bringing my fist back, I punched him as hard as I could in my current pained state. "You were going to leave me!", I shouted. As I brought my arm back for another swing, 057 put his hands up pleadingly. "P-please stop!", he shouted. Ignoring his pleas, I continued to swing at his head, I even threw in some elbow hits. I only stopped until I became tired and 057 was blacked out. Standing up, I suddenly lost my footing at what I saw. Above me were treetops bathed in sunlight. In the distance I could hear animals frolicking in the distance. Taking off my mask, I took in a breath of fresh air, something I haven't done in a decade. The glee inside of me built up until I just couldn't help myself and hugged a nearby tree. What the fuck are you doing? Are you raping that tree? With him spoiling my fun, I walked towards 057, who was still blacked out. Kill him. The piece of shit already turned on you, it won't be long until he does it again. Letting out a sigh, I knew he was right, but I wouldn't admit it. Lowering myself to 057's level, I pressed my thumbs onto his windpipe. Within a few seconds, 057 began to stir. Increasing the pressure onto my thumbs, I kept them in place until I hit the five minute mark. Turning him over, I grabbed the sides of his head and turned it until I heard a sickening snap. 'Better safe than sorry.' Raising myself, I dusted myself off, but stupidly only filled my hands with more blood. Looking at 057's corpse, I was surprised to see how clean his clothes were, despite his smell. Stripping his body of his shirt, I put it on and threw mine over his body. With a new shirt not filled with blood, I placed my mask back on. With that out of the way, I began my trek through the forest. After an hours walk, I began to notice the denseness of the trees thin. Quickening my pace, I saw the sunlight intensify through the trees. With a final step, I stepped out into the open. Looking into the sky, I saw the sun still proudly lighting the world. In the distance I spotted a trail. 'Better than nothing.' Walking on the path, a sign came into view. 'Ponyville? Thats a weird ass name. Probably somewhere in Europe...' Continuing on the trail, it led to a hill which overlooked a quaint little town. 'Why the hell does it feel like I remember this place?' Reaching the edge of the town, I spotted a few animals in the distance. 'The hell are those? Are those ponies?' Getting more near the ponies, one of them gave me a quizzical look. I returned the favor since the pony had a blue and pink mane. 'I've seen some stuff but pastel colored ponies? The fuck?' As I drew closer, the ponies eyes widened in fear. "MONSTER!", a feminine voice yelled. I responded the only way any other reasonable person would. "SHIT NUGGETS, A TALKING PONY!" AbsolutionSo I finally got around to write a chapter for this story. Granted its short, but its setting the scene for the next chapter. I stood there, unsure of what I just witnessed. 'Did that pony just talk? Have I gone completely insane? Only one way to find out....' As I put one foot forward, the pony backed away a step. This continued until she was backed up onto a wall, with me only a foot away. Extending my hand, I began to realize that the poor thing was trembling. 'Dammit, she's scared now, that is if she's even real...' With my hand merely an inch away from the wide-eyed pony, I suddenly felt my legs give out under me, as if a freight train hit them. Letting out a pained scream as I hit the ground, another feminine voice with a southern accent pierced the air. "Get yer claws off a BonBon!", the voice said. Searching for the bastard who attacked me, I spotted yet another pony only a few feet ahead of me. This one had an orange coat and blonde mane, which was oddly put into a ponytail. 'Okay, apparently these things are real enough to hurt me, but this one is fucking wearing a cowboy hat!' Putting my arms under me to support myself, I attempted to get back up but was stopped as I felt an immense pain in my right leg. Sparing a look to that appendage, I was shocked to see it twisted into an unnatural position. Glancing at my attacker, I said the first thing that came to mind. "YOU BITCH." The pony took a few seconds to register what I said, but soon responded. "You can talk?", she questioned. "No shit I can talk, and why did you BREAK MY LEG!", I said angrily as I motioned to my now useless limb. "You were gonna hurt Bon Bon!", she retorted. "No I wasn't, I was checking to see if she was real..." "Why wouldn't she be real?", she asked with a raised brow. "Oh I'm sorry, its not like I see talking ponies every fucking day." "What da ya mean? And what exactly are you?" "If its alright, I won't answer those questions to the animal that broke my bones." The pony looked as if she was about to say something, but her eyes seemed to look behind me. Rolling myself around, I was greeted by a rainbow kicking me in the face. The force of the kick sent both me and my mask skidding across the ground until my body went limp on the side of the building as my mask fell into a bush. Feeling my mind fade, the controller of my body was changing. Sleep my host, I will take care of the problem at hand. 'No.... Please.... Don't....' Do not fight it, let the darkness consume you. Trying to stay awake, I realized that it was useless as my vision began to fade, and the darkness began to embrace you. Now its my turn... ************************************************** "Rainbow Dash, why did ya hit him if he was already down!?" Applejack shouted at her friend. "Well I'm sorry for trying to save you from that monster!" Rainbow Dash shouted back. Before Applejack could continue the argument further, she noticed the strange creature moving in the distance. Straining her eyes, she notice that the creature was now standing, but its leg was still broken which made it favor one leg. The most frightening thing she noticed however was the black aura surrounding the creature which seemed to pour out a feeling of death. The creature looked around, until its eyes set themselves upon her and Rainbow dash. One was as white as Celestia's coat while the other was as dark as Nightmare Moon. Spotting its new targets, the creature let out a toothy smile which revealed its canines before it made a mad dash towards the mares. BrawlIt's been a while since I've been in control of this idiot's body. Time to see if he's as strong as I remember. As the creature dashed at the mares, Rainbow Dash flew into the air and sped towards him with unnatural speed. Even with only meters separating the two, the creature was still able to examine the ponies every movement and tactic. She's sloppy, headstrong and acts on impulse. This is too easy. Time seemed to slow as the two were an inch away from colliding. Rainbow Dash's eyes were filled with a fire which were burning with a passion to protect her friends. The creatures gaze however was cold and uncaring. Its stare seemed to penetrate Rainbow Dash to the very core, leaving her distracted for only a second. A second though was all the creature needed as he brought his hand up with demonic speed in front of the pegasus's head. As her face crashed into the creatures hand, he did not falter from her collision, but rather used his forward momentum to smash Rainbow Dash's skull into the ground with a sickening crack. Letting his hand rest on the winged creatures head, it felt the slow flow of blood produced by Rainbow Dash's heart tirelessly pumping the life giving essence throughout her broken body. Letting his hand rest for a few more seconds, the creature could feel the blue entities body growing cold and unmoving. The only sign of life were the slow, shallow breaths that escaped her mouth in a attempt to preserve herself. Wasting enough time, the creature removed his hand and stood up, sparing a last glance at his newest victim. The pegasus was laid in a sizable crater which was slowly filling with her own blood. Concussion, nerve damage and Twenty broken bones.... I think... Ah, no matter, at least his body is strong if not stronger than I remember. Although I hope I didn't damage the bitch too much. I want to make her suffer. Turning to face his next opponent, the creature was only greeted by an empty space that was once filled with the cowboy pony. Scanning the area for any sign of the mare, the creature felt its already damaged leg being severed from its body. The feeling of tendons, flesh and bones ripping apart was nothing but a minor annoyance, but left the creature laying on the ground with only three of its limbs left. As it looked up, it saw the cowboy mare standing above him with a horrified expression sprawled across her face. "D-did ah just do that.", her trembling voice projected. Looking back, the creature found that its severed leg was lying a few feet away from him. He also noticed that his newly acquired stump was bleeding out profusely now. Waving his hand over the wound, a black gunk formed on the opening which stopped the bleeding for the time being. Looking back up at the pony, she was still locked in place, unable to comprehend that she just kicked off another beings leg off. Seeing this as an opening, the creature grabbed at the pony's front legs and pulled back, causing Applejack to fall face first into the ground. Raising an elbow into the air, the creature brought it down onto the dazed mares head. Another deafening crack filled the air as the creatures elbow was imprinted onto the back of the pony's head. Pulling her hair up to reveal her face, the creature examined the damage he dealt. Her snout is bent in a unnatural angle, she has fractures throughout her skull and it seems I caused a permanent dent to the back of her head. Considering that enough damage was dealt to his attackers, the creature let go of the mare's head and let it hit the ground with a dull thud. Now that thats dealt with, what am I going to do about this useless stum-FUCK, WHY AM I FLOATING. The creatures thoughts were interrupted by its body suddenly being lifted off the ground and being levitated to an unknown point. Its confusion was soon sedated however as it found itself in front of a lavender unicorn who had a mixed look of confusion, horror, anger and.... curiosity? "What did you do to my friends?!", the mare screamed in horror. The only response she got was a devilish smile that spread across the creatures face. This prompted the unicorn to share a look of disgust to the creature. She felt as if a ball of ice formed in her stomach while she was near the monster. Yet even with fear gnawing at her mind, the mare's scholar attitude edged her to ask a question to the being she had never seen yet hurt her friends so badly. "W-what are you?", her trembling voice asked as she still held the specimen with her magic. "A demon.", the creature said in a sinister voice. The surprised look on the unicorn's face almost made the 'demon' burst into laughter, but instead took the opportunity to shoot its arm towards the horn of its captor. As he wrapped his hand around the base of her horn, the magic that surrounded him dissipated and left him standing on one leg. Applying pressure to his grip, he saw that the mare was in obvious pain which was obviously expressed through her strained features. Examining the horn more closely, the creature noticed a thin crack that was the result of his steadily rising grip. As he enjoyed the pain that he was giving the unicorn, he failed to realize the pink pony that sneaked up on him with a canon. "Get away from Twilight you meanie!", the pink pony yelled before firing her weapon. Realizing it was too late to dodge the attack, the creature braced itself for the oncoming attack. However, instead of a high speeding ball the creature expected, it was actually pushed back by cake batter. Recovering from the seemingly random attack, the creature tried to move but was actually stuck in the batter. How the hell am I stuck in cake batter!? As the creature continued to struggle, it saw that the unicorn now recovered and was charging her horn for another spell. A faint purple ball shot from the tip of her horn which connected with the creatures head. There seemed to be no apparent effect at the moment of casting, but soon the demon felt very drowsy. Fuck, beaten by a bunch of talking equines. What a wonderful fucking day... ***************************************** "T-thanks Pinkie, that thing almost broke my horn off...", Twilight said uneasily as she rubbed her horn to soothe the growing pain there. "You know you can count on me Twilight, but Applejack and Rainbow Dash look really bad, we need to get them to the hospital." Pinkie Pie said in a concerned tone. They both looked at the two mares who were spread on the ground, still blacked out. Using her magic, Twilight levitated both of them delicately and started walking towards the hospital. "Twilight, what are we going to do about... that?" Pinkie asked as she extended a hoof to the mysterious creature. Twilight looked deep in thought for a moment before replying to her friend. "I've never seen anything like it, but we should take it with us to the hospital." Twilight proposed warily. Pinkies jaw hit the floor. "A-are you sure?" Pinkie asked anxiously. "In all truth no, but for all we know it could be a new or forgotten species. Also, it looks and feels different now." "What do you mean?" "Well when it was awake, you felt it too, right? It was like being close to it seemed to give off a feeling of dread. But now that it seems asleep, it feels normal, almost weak." "Y-yea, I guess your right." "Well can you help me take it to the hospital?" "Okey Dokey Lokie!" Pinkie said excitedly. Putting the creature on her back, the duo carried the injured to the hospital. BoundAnother setting chapter. 'Crap, my whole body hurts. Worse than that one time they tested my pain tolerance and brought that goddamn rover with a taser into my cell..' The memory of that bucket of bolts the guards named after an old movie sent a shiver up my spine. The pain that Wall-E brought me will never be forgotten. That did hurt pretty bad... My eyes shot open at the sound of his voice but were soon shut back closed as I felt a blinding light penetrate my vision. Slowly letting my eyes adjust to the new lighting, I checked to see if my mask was on but were baffled by my hand staying in place instead of shooting towards my head. You still haven't noticed, have you? Doing my best to ignore him, I suddenly realized that I was no longer on the unforgiving dirt of Ponyville, but actually laying down on what I assumed was a bed made for ants. Well at least that's what I thought considering my legs were dangling off the end. Now that I thought about it, I couldn't really feel my right leg. Fearing the worst, I scanned my body over for any injuries. Starting at my arms, my suspicions were confirmed as I saw they were chained to the sides of the bed. Glancing at my torso, I was taken aback at how I was no longer wearing my clothes, but rather covered in a hospital gown that was only big enough to cover my lower abdomen and privates. 'So these ponies have probably seen my junk. Fan-fucking-tastic!' You're in for a surprise if you think thats the worst. Letting my anger get the best of me, I snapped back with a harsh tone. "Why don't you just shut the fuck u-", my rant was cut short as my eyes set upon my legs, or leg as it were. In place of the muscular limb, my right thigh ended in a pathetic looking stump. Moving my thigh muscles, the stump reacted by wiggling around. '..... That's new.....' That's new? Are you a fucking idiot? Our leg is gone! "Our leg? Its my leg that you somehow got cut off!" The orange one is strong, she reminds me of 256. "Why the hell am I talking with you? It always ends up with me just getting pissed. We're done here." I need the rest anyway, have a nice day... With that, I felt him slip back to the recess of my mind, leaving me at peace. Slightly tugging at the chains that held my arms, their strength was similar to that of steel. Putting more strain into my arms, the feeling of the chains digging into my wrists sent a rush of ecstasy into my blood. With pleasure running into my senses, I felt a surge of renewed strength that tipped the chains past its point and caused me to grunt in pleasure. Swinging my leg to the side of the bed, I sat myself upright and examined the room I was placed in. To say the least, it was empty. The only things that were present besides the white walls and the tiled floor was the bed I was sitting on and the debris of the chains I broke. Besides the fact that the room was barren, something felt missing. "How the fuck did I get in here?" Now that I noticed it, there were no windows or doors present. Pushing myself off the bed, I momentarily forgot about my missing leg and fell face first onto the ground. 'Gonna have to get used to that...' Rolling myself over, I faced the ceiling and contemplated the current situation. 'Lets see, I'm in an unknown destination, I'm missing a leg and to top it all off I have been stripped of my clothes. Reminds me of that one new years party I had. Although I had my leg still attached... I think...' Stretching my arm up towards the side of the bed, I raised myself onto my leg and balanced myself. Taking a few experimental hops towards a wall, I successfully reached it without falling over and leaned onto it. In response, the wall began to ripple, showing a sign of false tendency. Raising my brow in suspicion, I began to shimmy across the wall, scanning it with my hand while the other supported me. Halfway across the wall, my hand bumped into a unseen object. Grasping the object in my hand, I examined the object which had a circular head and thin neck. 'Well I'll be damned, a doorknob.' Twisting the knob, the wall began to part in a rectangular shape until it fully opened, revealing a being of shadow which possessed both a horn and wings. "Thou art awake, creature?", its feminine voice said which was laced with malice. At that exact moment, my makeshift clothing fell to the ground in a heap, exposing myself to the shadow entity. 'Well, I'm boned.' RevelationsIf anger and discipline were an element, it was standing right in front of me. The shadow being did not make a move, not even when my pride and joy was uncovered and dangling between my thighs. It was almost insulting. From its voice, I could obviously tell that it was feminine, but that she was also very cross with me. The longer I stood in her presence, the more I felt the power that seemed to beam off of her. With nowhere else to go but back into the room, I picked up what little cover I dropped and began to slowly hop back into the room. The being seemed to notice this as she too began to slowly pace her way towards me. A soft ticking accompanied her movements indicating that she was wearing shoes of some sort, probably metal. As I began to enter the artificial light of the room, the beings figure began to take a more refined shape. 'You have to be fucking kidding me.' There in front of me was what I could only describe as impossible. My brain was barely able to comprehend the talking horses, hell I even accepted that one of them had wings considering the headache she gave me was quite real. The one creature in front of me though, not only talked, had wings and a horn, but its mane was moving constantly as if it were stuck in a never ending cool night breeze. Her hair also seemed to project the night sky, which filled me with the urge to brush my hands through it to see if an actual universe was really just an arms length away. As my eyes traveled along her deep blue hide, I spotted the mark of a moon on her flank. Examining the mark further, a dull pain started to build in the back of my head. "Princess Luna?" I thought aloud. 'How the hell did I know that...' The being in front of me seemed to share my confusion as her face looked like someone just slapped her with a trout. "Creature, how does thou know my title and name?" She was obviously wary if not frightened by me. She began to slowly shift her hooves further apart and pointed her horn towards me in the time I took to think of an answer. 'What the hell is she doing?' RUN YOU FOOL, RUN! However, it was too late. A dark blue beam shot out from the creatures horn and made direct contact with my chest, knocking the wind out of me. Expecting to be projected across the room from the force, I was still standing in place, but now I was surround in a similar blue aura that seemed to stem from her horn. 'Okay, not dead. So far so good. Might as well keep it that way.' Preparing to hop away, I wasn't really surprised that I was being held in place. Letting out an exasperated sigh, I slowly met eyes with the lunar princess who had a curious look adorning her face. She examined me slowly, taking in every detail and characteristic of my body. It was as if I was back in the asylum, always being monitored, whether I was sleeping, eating or shitting, they were always watching. "Do not be frightened, I shall perform a memory spell on thee. It will sting slightly, but we must have answers onto what thou art." Her voice now had a soothing affect and seemed to lull me into a sense of security. She began to slowly walk towards me and touched her horn onto the center of my forehead. As she predicted, I felt a sudden shock pass throughout my body and felt my eyes roll into the back of my head. I soon felt myself being pulled into my dark memories inside of the asylum. One Year Ago, Asylum Medical Wing "Subject 019, suffering many 2nd and 3rd degree burns due to failed experiments testing his defense against fire. He has lost the ability to move for the time being and presents no immediate threat right now. His wounds are rather minor considering he has the ability of regeneration in his 'dark' state. Although he will not willingly do so to speed the process of healing, so you will watch over him and contact security if he actually does change." "I understand." The sound of footsteps leaving the room alerted me of the scientists departure. Sadly, this was not the first time I heard the exchange of a scientist and nurse discussing my treatment for whatever injury I had gotten, and it certainly wouldn't be the last. I was laying in a rather soft bed in one of the medical wards and was looking at the ceiling through the tinted eyeholes of my mask. My whole body was sore and I was pretty sure that the tests that were performed on me would be done again in about a month or so. There was a brief silence before I once again heard footsteps that slowly faded until they reached the side of my bed. Turning my neck slowly to prevent more pain than necessary, I looked up at the nurse that was supposed to supervise me. Even through the darkened lens of my mask, I could tell that her once sharp green eyes were now dulled with sadness and concern. Both traits were very rare in this place since most choose to love the work they do here instead of hating it. Examining her further, she was wearing the blue scrubs she wore everyday and had her long brown hair covering a part of her face. She was the women that I learned to call Elizah and was one of the few people that represented a beacon of hope for most prisoners. She looked over my bandaged body and winced when she spotted a particularly bloody part of the bandages. "I'm so sorry, but I need to change your bandages." Her voice was sweet and filled me with warmth, even if she was about to put me through agonizing pain. She began to unravel the dirtiest part of the bandages and I felt my very sensitive flesh writhing in protest. As she finished throwing them away, she began to apply a cooling ointment on my wounds and began to bandage me up again. "Thank... you." I muttered through my hoarse throat. She simply smiled. Six Years Ago, Asylum Testing Wing "Attempt seventeen. Testing subject 019's levels of anger. The results so far have been... interesting. To provoke him, we have put him under serious stress in multiple situations. This included putting him in the center of a maze that was located within the courtyard garden which has no actual exit. After five hours of non-stop wondering, 019 became enraged and soon transformed into his 'dark' state. He then destroyed the concrete walls of the maze with ease and was promptly subdued by 257. He was also presented with the Riemann hypothesis and was told to prove or disprove it. About two minutes passed before 019 flipped a table and yelled many obscenities before he was shrouded by a black mist. 257 subdued him with minor difficulty. The results are rather consistent and show that anger is a trigger for his transformations. With this acquired information, we may be able to understand his powers more clearly in time." End of audio log. I stood at one of the scientist's desk. After listening to his audio log, I wasn't sure how I felt. 'So they think they can control me, huh? I'll be damned if they ever figure me out.' "019, what the hell are you doing out of your room?" Looking behind me, I spotted five guards blocking my only exit. 'Shit...' Present Time, Location Unknown "Get... out..... of.... my.... HEAD!" With the creature delving into my memories, she began to inch her way slowly towards the ones that I pushed and repressed into the back of my head. Feeling myself become more powerful, I broke free of the creatures hold and strained my arms until they were shrouded in a black aura. Time to show this bitch what we're made of. Flinging my arms at the shocked creature, she had no time to react as I sent a dark wave of energy straight towards her. The wave hit her dead on, yet she showed no sign of movement and slowly walked towards me. Seeing that my attack didn't even phase her, I fell onto my haunches and stared at her in disbelief. When she stood in front of me, she had no hint of aggression and actually levitated me onto her back and walked out of the room. As she passed the doorway with me still on her back, she began to speak again. "I too know what it is like to be a prisoner. Even more so when the cause is letting your own darkness consume you and doing regrettable action. I shall take you to my sister, she will know what to do with you considering you have done nothing wrong by your own accord. Oh, and here. My scouts found this when they went to get you." The thing materialized my mask out of thin air and put it within my grasp. Putting it on, I felt the connection with him become weakened. With nothing else to do, I felt myself fall asleep on the soft hide of the creature. The gentle rocking of her walking helped with falling asleep as well. The Sun GoddessMagenta= Celestia's thoughts Dark blue= Luna's thoughts ********************************************* "......Sister?" Celestia asked warily to her grinning sibling. "Yes my dearest, what is it?" Luna responded, letting her grin grow even larger until it reached the borders of her muzzle. "What exactly is....that?" Celestia waved a hoof at the creature that had been softly levitated onto her luxurious bed. The two sisters sat in tranquil silence as they occupied Celestia's living chambers. The only sound that penetrated their peaceful repose was the steady breathing and occasional snoring of the creature. Really Luna, first you bring an Ursa Minor not even a week ago and asked permission to keep it, but this? At least this one seems small enough to fit in your quarters instead of taking up residence in half of the gardens. I still miss some of those statues the cute little devil destroyed. "Technically, this is the being that attacked the elements of harmony." Luna stated simply. Celestia's left eye twitched involuntarily. Oh sister, you really should get that checked out some time. "Luna, you know that I'm usually not inclined to harsh punishment for those who have wronged our kingdom, to a point, but this being has shown the capability of harming others. Shouldn't it be restrained more securely instead of laying on my bed?" Luna blew a rasberry to her sibling before replying. "Oh tia, aren't you usually the one who chastises me for 'wrongly using' chains and shackles?" "That is a completely different matter, Luna. The way you chain up the guards have caused a few unsavory rumors to spread." "Why is that? I only whisper Hello into their ears when I chain them up. When their serious demeanor is suddenly replaced by a blush I giggle like a little filly. Besides, he is actually quite harmless." Celestia furrowed her brow in confusion. "Harmless? You are aware that this is the creature that Twilight mentioned in her letter that not only put all of Ponyville into a panic, but has also put two ponies in the hospital. And how do you know to refer to it as he?" "I didn't perform any tests if that is what you are inquiring. No, I simply took a peek at his memories." Luna's voice faltered slightly and her expression grew grim as she finished speaking. Celestia noticed this and became worried at what her little sister might have seen. "Lu-Lu, what exactly did you see?" Celestia cooed with a motherly tone. Hearing her nickname that she had since she was a filly soothed Luna's nerves. Letting out a pained sigh, Luna drooped her head slightly as she began to speak. "He has endured much from what little I have seen. His flesh has been burned, teared and ripped countless times and still his psyche has also been pushed to the limits from vigorous mental anguish. Yet somehow he has kept sane through it all, but something vile has infected his body and seems to take control of him sometimes. This... parasite makes him do questionable things, such as attacking Ponyville." This information sent a very mortal chill down Celestia's spine. "Did his memories mention a name?" "No, but he is referred as 'Subject 019' by his captors. The helmet he possesses also has 019 engraved onto one side. Speaking of which, have you felt it sister? The foreign magic that seems to pulse from his helmet, it almost feels like the enchantment to ward off evil spirits. Much like the one you used on me all those years ago..." The tension that now filled the room was thick enough to choke all those inside of it. Celestia let out a pained sigh and cast her eyes downward, not daring to look her little sister in the eyes. "L-luna, I know that this creature is enduring a fate similar to yours, but you can't make rash decisions just because you can relate-" "QUIET! You don't know what I had to endure! Being exiled from our kingdom for 1000 years and then coming back to be shunned for a crime I did not commit!" Luna was now screaming with a blind rage at her sister. As she began to shout again, her words only came out as a hoarse gasp which were accompanied by her now flowing tears. Celesetia could only watch Luna cry. Sh-she still holds that much resentment? Oh Luna, when will you forgive me so that we can actually become sisters again? Celestia could barely stifle her own sobs until something knocked both her and Luna from their own self pity. "Fantastic! Now they're are two crying horse things!!" ******************************** 'Okay, I'm in a well furnished room with two crying.... whatever those things are. One of them takes no damage from my attacks and the other is unknown. All in all, I'm screwed.... WAIT A SECOND. My clothes are back on.... WAIT ONE MORE SECOND. I have that guards belt on too.' Glancing down to my waist, I spotted the whip I pillaged off the dead guard. Knowing that it was more likely that it would do nothing against the two beings, it still gave me comfort that I had a weapon. As I drew my hand to its hilt, I was surprised that I couldn't actually wrap my fingers around it. 'Why can't I grab the whi-SHIT! They probably have some sort of pacification field in here. God I hate those things so much. Since I can't fight my way out of here, might as well try to talk my way out.' Clearing my throat, I addressed the two polar opposite beings in front of me. "If I recall correctly, Princess Luna?", I stated politely while waving a hand to the being I was already familiar with. "And..." As my eyes met with the white hided princess, a dull pain began to build in my head. "Princess Celery?" Her left eye twitched. 'She should really get that checked out.' "Actually, its Celestia, but that is not our concern right now." She said with a firm tone. "What exactly is the main concern right now?" Her tone did not inspire confidence. Luna was the next to talk. "Thou hast caused quite a ruckus in the town of Ponyville. Two mares were facilitated in the infirmary because of thy actions." 'I didn't do anything though, but did he?' "...But, from what we saw, we cannot punish thee fairly." A smile infected my face. "So no punishment?", I asked eagerly. "Not entirely, we do have questions for you." Celestia added. "What exactly about?" Both sisters spoke in unison now. "What are thee?" "Heh, pull up a chair or whatever the hell your kind sits on. This is going to take a while to explain..."
Roll callUnderground Asylum: West wing Looking out the barred window from my room, the oak tree's leaves began to change their color of everlasting green to the warm color of orange and reds. "SHIT NUGGETS, A TALKING PONY!"
AbsolutionSo I finally got around to write a chapter for this story.
'Well, I'm boned.'
RevelationsIf anger and discipline were an element, it was standing right in front of me.
