One moment I'm asleep when a sharp blade slits my throat killing me almost instantly as I watch my low boring life flash before my eyes I awoke to this...

A dragon...

He told me I had two choices go to heaven...

"Priestess!" A pony guard wearing Japony style armor ran into the temple panting.

Turning to the guard she rises up from the wounded Fox soldier as she walked over to him as he looks up, the young man placing a hand on his shoulder the pony guard looks up.

"They breached the outer gate! It's only a matter of time before the break into the temple!" The guard said as The priestess of the light gave a look of worry.

For about 14 days an organized and large diamond dogs attack the country of Japony going straight for its capital the army didn't have time to react as it was almost whipped out in a mere heartbeat. They kill the men and rape the woman like any raider group would and its been hell on the government the country had to turn to there allies the Equestrian military but it would be a week till they arrive but they didn't have a week.

Due to this Tao and the rest of her fellow priestess sister aided the wounded during this time, she was covered in so much blood from this she barely had any clean clothes left. She let the soldier go to the head priestess as she bit her finger as she began to wonder what will happen now as she turns to the statue of the dragon of light she walked up to it with her hands together as she began to pray to the idol.

On her knees, she began to pray.

"Oh holy dragon of light hear my prayer I ask of you...No beg of you help us in our darkest hour for we are in great need if this temple falls so do all of your followers so please..." (Little did she know she was glowing) "Help us,"

As she opens her eyes a blinding light filled the room as she was thrown from the statue as the rest of the soldiers and priestess were blinded by the light. All lowered their arms to see what had happened as the light died down a being that was resting on his knees with a sword in hand as the white helmed being in strange red and black armor. Tao lowered her arm as she looked up at the being before her as a voice rang out...

"Priestess Tao I have heard your cries for I the dragon of light give you a champion of the red sun...He will be your familiar in this dark time treat him well and he will protect you with his life," The statue spoke as Tao looked to the statue then to the being whose eyes glowed blue as he rose to his feet. "ALEXANDER OF THE RED SON! DEFEND PRIESTESS TAO THIS IS MY WILL!"

WIth the statue going dark as the being rose to his feet Tao and everyone else that could stand looked at the being as they watch him stand there with a large blade in his hand. Tao looked at the being as she saw the symbol on his shoulder as she gasped... a symbol of old rested on his arm.

'That symbol...'

"Tao...is it?" The knight asked looking down at her to her surprise she had to look up.

She was at least 7 feet tail as for this knight of her's he was a good few inches taller than her almost beating her to 8 feet as she held her hands together she looked up at him in slight fear but something told her to claim herself as she looked upon him.

"Yes...I am Tao," She said she watched as he bowed down to her with his white helm lowered.

"I am Alexander of the luna blades I have come to serve under you what is it that you command?" He asked as she looked at him with her black eyes.

"Well...can you fight?" She asked as to which he nodded.

"Yes...What is that you need to be destroyed," He asked to which she spoke.

"There is a army outside our gates can you...can you stop them?" Looking at her he rose and nodded.

"You will, will be done," As he began to pass her she grabbed his hand.

"Please be careful," She said as he spoke.

"I will be priestess," With that, he left her there to stand as he walked outside the temple as she walked up to the gate doors of the temple to see the diamond dog horde outside the inner courtyard ready to rape and murder.

But as the red giant land in the horde of dogs, he began to attack, moving faster than she would have thought for someone that big and in such heavy-looking armor along with a long blade. As he moved it was like he was dancing against the horde who were sloppy that came at him with there makeshift and looted weapon but all it would do was bounce off his armor. The main reason why they had lost so many troops was the sure number of the horde for every one that fell ten more took their place! But him? He fought without tiring as he moved faster than the eye could track as he acted like a scythe through a wheat field the troops at the gate dropped there jaws as the horde was cut down like they were nothing.

As the alpha of the dogs screamed for them to attack but the dogs looked in fear at the red being before them as he was covered in the blood of his foes that fell before him. That was when the leader scoffed and went to kill the red armored knight of the heavens as the alpha raised his bloodstain cub he swung but Alexander was faster as he cut off the armed arm with a swing of his blade. The alpha screamed as he held the stump of his arm, Tao didn't know how to react as she held her hand to her face both in shock and awe but before she could fully process what had happened she watched as a large box came from the red pack that caused him to fly into the horde on the bottom of his left arm. Pointing the box to the alpha as it glowed blue before it fired an orb of pure energy that liquified the face of the giant dog.

The body of the dog fell down the knight placed the box back on his back as he turned to the horde and raised his blade this caused the horde to scream in fear as they bolted not wanting to end up like the alpha or there fallen comrades. Running in fear the guards and civilians cheered as the battle was turned in a mere moment all thanks to this single sole of a 'man' before them!

Turning to walk back to the temple he was meet with Tao who looked at him from the gate as he walked over to her and bowed down as she looked down at him.

"What else do you require of me?" He asked as she looked at him.

"Um...I don't know but please stand I'm not a high priestess or anything," She said as he rose to his feet.

"It doesn't matter I'm bound to you making you my master and I was told to respect my master by the dragon of light himself whoever they may be," She looked at him with a slight smile as she spoke.

"Are you hurt? You took some blows by force weapons," She said as he spoke.

"My shields protect me from harm mistress," She blushed as that title as she held her cheek from the embarrassment.

"Well I think its best I check you just in case I'm an excellent healer I could patch you up in no time," She said as he looked down at her.

"If that is what you wish," She smiled as he walked over to her.

Before they could enter the temple she was grabbed and moved out of the way of a spear made of light hitting where they were moments before. Looking up she was in the arms of this knight from heaven as she looked the sky to see...what?

Celestia and Luna princesses of the Equestria? Why did they attack?

"PUT THE PRIESTESS DOWN MONSTER AND FACE JUDGMENT!" Celestia shouted as Alexander narrowed his eyes.

"Stay here I will deal with these attackers," He said as Tao spoke.

"Wait there is a misunderstanding they are no the enemy," She said as he spoke.

"But they attack you," He said as she nodded.

"I think they were going for you but- never mind this is all one big misunderstand," She said as Celestia spoke.

"There is no misunderstanding priestess this monster was going to slaughter you like he did to these diamond dogs he's a threat to all!" Celestia shouted as Luna spoke.

"Sister I don't think this being is our enemy," She said as Celestia spoke.

"He is did you see what he did to that alpha? He is a threat to all and must be destroyed!" Celestia shouted but a voice rang out.

"HALT!" All turn to the temple to see an old nine tail vixen as she spoke.

"The head priestess," Tao whispered as she grabbed Alexander into a bow. "Bow Alex!"

"Rise all even you great protector," The head priestess said as she began to walk down the stairs.

All that bowed (but the sun princess) rose up as they all turned to her.

"How about we have a talk over some tea?"
