Baa-Ram-Ewe!
439. Midgar Meltdown Pt. 18.
Previous ChapterNext Chapter-Yggdrasil Digital Realms, a place called File Burg, Metal Etemon-
“Hold the line!” Ever since I went from being Etemon to becoming Metal Etemon, I’ve been showing off my impressive skills and muscles and I’ve been enjoying the fact that my gang was recognized as one of the upper tier units in the war.
We were also saved and supported by the gloriously beautiful and thankfully friendly ‘Sun Goddess’ Amaterasu more than once, she was a bit cold to us at first but seemed to glow quite beautifully under any compliments to her appearance.
She was a cute white wolf with the divine red markings and she’s been running around causing trouble for our enemy and something of a rumor of a solar lion from our biological monster neighbors was coming up a lot in conversations. We weren’t the only ones putting the work in here.
There were efforts from our neighbors to save themselves and us just as much, so much so that they sent some heavy hitters to help us out. It just brings tears to my eyes to see everyone and everything coming together against a much larger threat.
Don’t know what peace will be like afterwards, but I expect it to be a highly rough start when all the fighting stops, we’ve been at this for the digital equivalent of many years and needed the reprieve any help would give us.
I know the biological reality next door moves slower than us, but it still took them some time to really get on the ball about this Moon Cell monstrosity that wants us all dead.
To that end we’ve been slowly taking back control of our world. We were even helping Yggdrasil Security in the form of the Metal Walker brigade, numerous powerful Digibots and the Vaccine Digimon. The Giromon lived for this stuff and they hadn’t stopped fighting ever since the fighting started, the fact that they weren’t tiring was impressive and they’ve been ramming themselves into the face of the enemy for quite a while with their battle damaged chainsaws.
If anyone had anything to say about the Metal Walkers, it was that they were hardcore bunch of code and they didn’t go without a fight… or keeping fighting after they should have gone.
We Digimon might have floundered at the start, but we were putting a real huge dent in the enemy’s ability to keep throwing numbers at us. Virus, Data and Vaccine alike, everyone in this Yggdrasil Realm was actually working in concert without any backstabbing tendencies popping up, which was a new one for a fresh digital world experiencing extreme turmoil.
Usually every digital realm that is created by Yggdrasil is the problem or it’s the next door biological neighbors with their technology we tend to infiltrate to find a nice place to settle down in. The whole D-Reaper thing wouldn’t have happened without the biological neighbors being the cause of that one, but yeah, we Digimon were usually the root cause of chaos in most worlds we appeared in.
This is the one time we can honestly say that we didn’t cause the mess and actually mean it!
Even the most vile of digimon were excited for a fight and on the front lines of battle… that would be Ogremon who was well on his way to becoming a Skull Satamon. Terrifying thought that, but with the dark net data it was understandable that Ogremon had the capacity for it. He wasn’t a hero, but he was putting his acts of evil on hold until three months after the war was over… nice of him to give everyone an early warning about that.
The ‘Backspace Systems’ was why we weren’t losing troops to the constant thrashing on the battle lines between us and the enemy digital realm.
It was little wonder the more evil, or at the very least highly rude, Digimon were taking up arms… a digital realm completely unsullied by them? Preposterous. The realm being more dangerous than they could ever hope to be? Even more preposterous! Some of them even actively wanted to be immortalized in history by being beaten by a group of children that generally followed the very concept of ‘no idea what do, but do anyway’.
The heavenly Vaccine types were doing their jobs by holding the front beside their more malicious Virus companions who were quite gleeful for an enemy that they didn’t have to hold back against.
For once, Yggdrasil System didn’t make a digital world that wasn’t corrupting everything, destroying itself or invading our biological neighbors by the happenstance of a lot of awkward things happening.
Still, mother Yggdrasil System likely sighed when it couldn’t just make one world that didn’t have something large, volatile or dangerously chaotic happening to it within a biological year or two of it being created… which was several thousand digital years before time disparity shrunk to one to one with our neighbors. The Digimon of this system weren’t the major problem for the ‘digital destined’, AKA the generally well known Yggdrasil System troubleshooters that were always found for major problems, at least for once. Take the win when you can get it I’d say!
Yggdrasil System was probably even happy that it wasn’t the biological neighbors or us Digimon that caused the mess this time around, small comfort given the danger. The threat was very much serious, given it could feasibly spread into other realities and other Yggdrasil System Realms if we didn’t stop it here and now while cut off from the rest of the Yggdrasil System Realms with our backs to the wall.
So yeah, general Yggdrasil System new world shenanigans.
The Data Types were the most important ones in all this, given they were responsible for recoding the enemy PLANTs and figuring out ways to give the Viruses and Vaccines an edge up on the enemies in the flood of incoming information and assault programs.
There was even a signal of signs of Eaters appearing and consuming the enemy, which had rightly horrified us… it was strange ‘they’ were making a resurgence. Every Digimon knows to fear the words ‘World Eaters’ and that we heard they might be around was terrifying the hearts of any just hearing of the possibility. Even D-Reaper wasn’t nearly as bad as those things had been!
Thankfully the signal apparently transmitted from within our enemies systems. Better that it was happening to them than it would be to us, but we couldn’t let those Eaters turn their maws at us and we had to keep them out and not being our problem!
So whatever was causing Eaters to appear, it needed to be dealt with fast, the ‘digital destined’ were already invading Moon Cells Realms so we didn’t need to focus on that. We needed to find out what was causing them to appear at all and put a kibosh on it quickly before things spiraled out of control….
“PRINGERMON ZETA BEAM DOOD!” An explosion to my left sent assault programs flying everywhere.
Even more out of control I mean.
“Ah, yeah, Metal Etemon time baby~!” I promptly leapt forward, mostly to not be outdone by an exploding penguin digimon, and rammed my metallic right fist through an assault program that had been labeled a Brute.
Lifting the thing bodily into the air, I then threw it into its compatriots in an explosive display of strength with a second punch that didn’t go straight through it. Didn’t want both my arms to get stuck in it.
-Moon Cell Realm, edge of the upper city, Castle Alexander, Ocellus-
We rose up and bombarded the edge of the city with rockets, then we deployed the Berserker Moogles.
That went well enough, even if the Berserker Moogles had no common sense in battle they were absurdly strong as they punched and slammed our enemy and spread out from where they were formed in at.
After they started successfully managing to clear a zone for us to land, we sent out three motorcycles from the open mouth of Castle Alexander’s dog shaped head… after having the Commandramon blast the surrounding airspace with a few thousand projectiles and missiles to clear it for our scout team. We were constantly being swarmed by Gunships, Moon Cell Watcher and Heli-troopers, no sign of Moby Dick.
The flying whale seemed to be quite busy with something on the opposite side of the city from us. We were only getting a visual shadow of it, but it was definitely engaged in some sort of fight far away from us. Were there more allies here that we didn’t know about?
“Don’t worry Pom, we’re coming…” I mumbled as I watched Canard rev the motorcycle with Sami riding behind him as he launched off the ramp that was Castle Alexander’s tongue, followed by Rokusho and Peppercat driving their respective motorcycles with Metabee and Krosserdog acting as their back gunners respectively.
They could switch to Skein Flyers at any time, but were sticking to the streets because the airspace around here was exceedingly hostile as the shakes and blasts hitting the castle could attest to. We watched the scout team head out and I turned my attention back to our surroundings.
We weren’t welcome here, but that’s to be expected at this point as Castle Alexander slowly hovered forward and continued clearing a space to land through numerous explosions.
-Rooftop in the upper city near the mall minutes later after seeing Castle Alexander launch an attack on the upper city, Pom-
“Okay Dormarch, go, Dolly and I can handle this!” Goodness knows every EP in the area is going to drop on my head when we do start aggravating the PLANT.
“Be careful mom…” Dormarch leapt up and teleported in the direction of Castle Alexander with Search Hunter, Shanty was kind of Cait Sith’s hostage at the moment and we’re trusting him to not hurt my little goat while I set up evacuating him and Shanty from the area safely.
Canard and the others are going to hear the fireworks at least once I start if he wasn’t busy already with the EPs, they’ll at least notice us taking a territory so we’re going.
As powerful as Moon Cell was… it was nice to know that even it had limitations, even if it wanted to destroy everyone. I’ll be glad if I never see any of its apocalypse causing options, it might just try to use them against me given its absolute hatred for my existence.
Several distortions appeared in the air to my left in the distance, they were a bit bright and full of numbers and strange symbols. I froze and hoped to not see the Eaters again… those things were horrifying and alien. Nothing came out of the distortion and I sighed with relief.
My very existence was causing glitches to occur and I was total Moon Cell anathema given the magical computer couldn’t handle me just being alive, which explains the egregious amount of enmity it had for me. At least that’s what Cait Sith said is Moon Cell’s reason to need me dead like yesterday.
“Can we handle it? I mean, I’m not doubting our abilities here, we’re really great, but it is just that we don’t have anything other than a reviver seed between us and death.” Dolly was staring at the mass of EPs we had to dive into to get at the nearest PLANTs we didn’t exactly have a good opening move, but we had the opening move locked down as long as we stayed hidden. We couldn’t do it forever and we were on a time crunch. “I ate the last Sitrus Berry we had… Shanty could have really used that huh?”
“No Dolly, you arguably needed it more, Shanty would survive her injuries and yours were far more dangerous.” Getting shot is no joke and even Dolly seemed to silently admit that I was right after taking several projectiles when she couldn’t use her board to defend herself while moving Shanty to safety. “Also you’re smaller, so the Sitrus Berry probably has a stronger effect and I really need you with me here.”
“So… how are we doing this?” Dolly didn’t think we could take the Brutes on top of everything else, she’s right. We didn’t have the numbers to watch each other’s backs, but I at least had an idea about how to kick off this territory capture with so many Elite EPs around.
“Dolly, say ‘summon fire’ while invoking your magic.” I knew Lu Bu was gone, but that didn’t mean the fire being Ifrit he had possessed was and we also had the ice being Shiva.
Dolly sat there for a moment and then reached a paw up to the red jewel on her helmet and then she grinned.
“Summon Fire!” Soon a beastly minotaur-like being appeared near us, he didn’t have the cow aesthetics that would put him squarely in the minotaur range… more like a giant horned lion made of flames.
Without Lu Bu’s face overlaying his appearance, Ifrit showed up in all his glory with a devilish fang filled grin and heat coming off of his body. He leapt over the side, already knowing exactly what we wanted him to do as he raised a blazing axe above his head and fell towards the defensive line around this particular PLANT.
A Brute was immediately slashed in half, along with whatever was standing behind it, then immediately caught fire and exploded outwards.
“Now say ‘Summon Ice’, I’ll… pay the cost on this one.” I was specifically not looking at my left hind leg as I said this, the golden wool wasn’t overtaking my last leg yet nor was it slowly consuming me. Using magic definitely exacerbates the issue.
Since I saw Dolly on the edge of going into a migraine from the cost of summoning just one of the entities we had on hoof, I had to hoof the bill for the other.
“Summon Ice!” Dolly said with my hoof on her back as I felt magic drain out me like a faucet going full blast on a bathtub back home.
That’s when Shiva appeared next to us, quickly generating an icy rapier and shield. One glance at Ifrit’s volatile lighting of the surroundings on fire and she shakes her head with a dry loving nostalgic smile on her face as she watched a swinging axe to mow down multiple enemies and send them flying before combusting violently. There was a hint of nostalgia on what was the advanced Ice Sprites face.
“Quick question, before you get into it… do you like reindeer by any chance?” I mean this was going to be one of the few opportunities to ask the strange ethereal entity the materia can summon.
“Only like? I worship only the best of them, love the games they play… hm-hm-hm. Also they’re quite fluffy.” She replied mentally, then leapt off the side of the building and stabbed straight through a Brute going for Ifrit’s back. Her sword of ice went straight through its core without slowing down, as if the core wasn’t made of sturdy material at all, as she landed on it and kicked off gracefully with a backflip.
The Brute dissolved into a shower of digital energy.
“Well that at least confirms something.” Makes me wonder about Velvet and Tinsel.
“Do I want to know?” Dolly stated flatly.
“Nope, let’s go!” I leapt over the side while pulling the Paralance from my back with my right hoof and angled it downwards. Dolly launched off with her board after me.
-Streets, Dolly-
Pom really did need me to watch her back as she slammed down into a Soldier and then used the impact to pogo into a baseball bat swing, which took down another.
I entered a hover and landed behind her already rolling looking for what I should be doing. Having used up a lot of magic already I needed to block something to top up and I had fire an ice right now… also that it could become something I could learn permanently had initially excited me.
Now… now I was less worried about how weak I was compared to everything Pom gets put through, I was her support and she needed that more than anything. I pulled the stone bone and chucked it forward and took a gun holding guy on a motorcycle, some mild revenge gotten there as I took them off their machine it went skidding to a stop without its rider.
The motorcycles at least looked awesome, I caught the bone and then looked for another opportunity as I stuck close to Pom who blocked projectiles and effortlessly swept through the less dangerous enemies while our called up buddies dealt with the major threats.
We knew where the PLANT was and it hadn’t moved, I could hear the hum of it producing all these guys trying to defend itself from the four of us. Without the ice gal and fire dude, we’d be up a creek with dealing with this many.
A flash and several powerful noises of a something hitting was heard behind me and I turned to see the ice gal protecting my back, she smirked at me and then charged forward to stab down another gun wielding biped.
The big flaming axe dude didn’t even care about the projectiles, he was simply evaporating them out of the air with the heat he was giving off.
I quickly put my attention back on Pom and assisting her, I’ve learned that even the little things I can do were a big help to any situation.
I leapt for a nearby light pole, upon grabbing it with my right paw. I let loose a powerful vortex using my flow motion and some mild wind energy, without actually casting Aero, to draw in and downed a number of helicopter arm dudes around us and my skateboard made short work of them as I spun around the pole at incredible speeds.
I launched from the pole and kept spinning for a bit generating a fierce attack that damaged some remote control flyer and lightning bot that came crawling around on building or hovering in the air. They were literally coming from every direction as soon as Pom appeared, when before they were just defending themselves from the big handsome fire dude and the lovely lithe ice gal.
Managed to even damage the spherical observer, those round eyes laser spewing things that were said to be connected to old Luna Blood. Yeah, the computer we were inside of had to be really ancient at this point to have this much weird stuff going on with it.
“Come on, where’s that A-lister of theirs?” I stated as I hovered in the air and pulled board in front of myself to handle a spray of projectiles that knocked me back, also recovered some magic… I was going to need more before I actually start using it.
“They are called Elites and we really need to make this PLANT work by defeating as many of these EPs as possible to get it to come out, then we need to beat it and take out the PLANT.” Pom explained as she locked herself in place and the motorcycle guy lost on the impact with her, as the lance took him entirely off the motorcycle and said motorcycle bounced from hitting her wool. “Stay focused Dolly!”
Her wool was so soft and yet so dangerous, I swear Pom could sleep anywhere with that kind of cushioning. Being a short furred dog wasn’t bad, but the advantages of having slightly thicker fur would be nice. Though in all this rain that would be kind of annoying… I wonder why Pom’s wool can’t handle bullets or other pointy things, she’s been growing her power in that right? I knew it could certainly handle liquids given the whole underwater scuba suit thing she can do.
-Pom-
I sometimes wondered what was going through Dolly’s mind, mostly because I wouldn’t invade her thoughts and respected her privacy unless I feel like I had to. If she wasn’t being focused with all the projectiles around, I’m afraid she could get hit and we’d have to rely on Dormarch to get us healing items quickly.
Swing the paralance as I closed it up I slammed the still strange mystical spear into a Brute and had it spike into its core on impact. It wasn’t instant destruction, but it was quick enough.
The real damage dealers here were Ifrit and Shiva, Ifrit was fighting far better than he had when he was mixed in with Lu Bu. To think he was a temporary combat ally, one that I was glad to have on my side.
Dolly slammed into the Crawlers on the nearby building and was using her ability to flow along the walls to knock them off the walls and attack the drones in the air above.
I swung out my right hoof and a shimmer appeared in the air and the several troopers that were trying to keep me pinned down on the other side of the paralance were suddenly shredded into digital energy.
Still required a lot of concentrating to control a single strand of wool hair was still tough for me than say controlling a small bundle, but it made for a powerful whip and grapple as needed. This helped me maneuver about and avoid being shot when swinging from light poles or walls and while the Troopers were here in fairly large numbers, but weren’t heavily armored.
A moment later the fight changed as the actual specific Elite of this particular PLANT appeared when all the other EPs cleared the space for it to show up, one that was not one of the many free range Brute’s around thankfully.
The elite produced was a little unusual, it was a bigger version of the four legged Crawler mechanical EPs that fired lightning bolts. This one reminded me a bit too much of Assassin Reapers due to the four spindly legs, the difference was the cylindrical body with the round disk like head that fired the lightning bolts.
It was in the same vein as any of the Magitek stuff I’ve seen before, the design aesthetic was really quite obvious after a while. At least with Cait Sith, his Magitek designs seemed more unique and far less robotic.
If it fired lightning like the other crawlers then… a lightbulb went off in my head and I grinned. I reversed the grip on the paralance so the canopy was protected by back and the back end was a sharpened point to be a lightning rod and then I carefully and quickly sent some wool out with a specific properties.
“Uh… Pom you’re kind of…!” Yes, Dolly, I’m aware I’m exposing myself to the Elite Crawler unit. In fact I was making sure the four legged machine tried to shoot at me and making sure to defend myself from anything else.
“Just keep doing what you were doing Dolly… covering me protectively, don’t you worry about what’s about to happen here!” I was smiling, because I remember the calmer times I’ve spent reading books about science and magical interactions.
Science and magic do interact fairly well, but the reason technology is so hard to get right with magic is because of some misunderstood underlying principles between both and the unusual physics involved.
That and Ocellus and Smolder had use the pegasus method of creating damaging bolts of energy through magical ionization from striking at clouds throughout our adventure. They did it enough that I was quite confident that what I’m about to pull would not only work, but actually exceed my expectations.
Dolly was knocking crawlers off the walls and hitting drones with the mystical stone bone, while fighting the much lighter enemies like the Troopers while Shiva and Ifrit dealt with the heavier stuff like Brutes or the occasional Sweeper that charge in.
The Elite Crawler finished charging its lightning and I just calmly waited as a barely visible shimmer in the air between me and it could be seen.
It blasted its lightning bolt at me and then what I had been waiting on happened, the energy caused a second lightning bolt to strike at me due to all the ionized energy in the air. Really the machine shouldn’t have shot electricity at me in the middle of the constant storm that was Midgar’s upper city. Also my wool could be selectively conductive magically as long as the electrical energy couldn’t be stabbed pass it like what happened to me in Cape Suzette… so...
The pointed back end of the paralance was a pointed tip I held in front of me at a particularly high angle, it was currently acting like a lightning rod with the canopy of the lance protecting my back from projectiles.
With the way my wool was flexed out in such a specific manner, given the principles of what was about to happen…
I didn’t get to think much longer as the Elite exploded in a violent flash of its own attack and the added lightning bolt that struck the paralance a second later.
Every ounce of energy was immediately redirected through me and into it through a wire of wool insulating me, but definitely not my target.
This is where the Elite Crawler fell to the ground with all four of its legs twitching in a splayed out manner, it was now smoking and arcing with electrical energy as a paralyzed mess. It might have been more of a trouble if I had to fight it in better conditions, but why use physical strength when there were sometimes easier options?
I’m surprised that even worked if all the buildings around had lightning rods too, but since lightning comes up from the ground it makes sense that ionizing the air here would cause a lightning bolt exactly when and where I needed it if I turned myself into a lightning rod.
All I had to do was yank myself forward at the machine using the wool wire and then… I slung the edge of the paralance’s canopy up, over, forward and down into the machine. I completely brained the thing to death in once easy swift motion.
The PLANT quickly appeared as it had lost its Elite in a most humiliating manner possible.
“Now focus on taking the PLANT!” The humming jellyfish thing just immediately lost its elite in a display of ingenious use of environment and a single hit, I wouldn’t have been able to do all of that if it didn’t have to ionize the air to attack me.
“Whoa, that was awesome!” Dolly shouted as she rammed the tip of her board into the PLANT doing some damage.
Shiva attacked as I was busy blocking hundreds of projectiles, her ice rapier barely did anything aside from put a nifty hold and some scratch marks in the machine.
Huffing loudly, Ifrit swung once… the PLANT ceased to exist in an overkill matter and the air caught fire, but the territory successfully turned. This also probably alerted Merak to where we were immediately, if he didn’t already when we sent Ifrit in initially.
“PLANT fighting retreat!” The PLANT started retreating and generating Berserker Moogles that seemed to stand around for a second before they were attacked by an EP and that set the Moogles all off into a frenzy. Yep, that’s the very obvious definition of the ‘berserker’ class, going wild and violent.
“Now what?” Dolly said as she landed on my back.
“Now we need a method to keep up with and protect the PLANT as it retreats towards Castle Alexander.” It was going fairly fast and was already off in the distance and leaving us behind, it would have to stop to generate defenses so I wasn’t worried it would get away. “I’m sure Cait Sith will be able to keep up with it.”
“What about the motorcycle from a guy I took out earlier?” Dolly asked with a wagging tail and I sighed.
“Oh no… well it would be better than running.” I could keep up with constant Dancing Flame. There was a reason I was trying not to use it at the moment. Something felt a little off about doing it at the moment, but not a bad kind of off. “What about… oh…”
Shiva and Ifrit were starting to disappear and we got the general message from both them, we had to go now!
“Hellfire/Diamond Dust!” The path to chase after the runaway PLANT was opened up by them as they faded away, both attacks going off created a series of powerful explosions that made Dolly shiver as she obviously remember what happened in the mystery dungeon when mixing hot and cold temperatures in an enclosed space in such a rapid manner.
We were spared from the effects of the magical blasts, but we wouldn’t have much free time to dilly dally around here!
Running over to the aforementioned downed motorcycle that didn’t look too badly damage, I quickly heaved it upright using my wool to move my body as it was stronger than I was physically. I quickly looked it over as I planted my butt in the seat and looked behind me at more incoming EPs, especially Moon Cell Watchers with their glowing red eyes.
“That’s gas or throttle, breaks are here for when you want to slow down, the steering is obvious so I doubt you need me to point that out, that looks likes the kickstand drop. Huh, that looks like a drift clutch when you want to turn in a crazy sharp manner, let off when you want to continue going forward after orienting. Huh, what’s this one lead to… afterburners ohoho-yeah, they really shelled out for these things huh! Use that for some extra speed.” Blinking at Dolly’s words as she pointed out all the function of the motorcycle, I stared at her blankly as she calmly rolled her eyes. “One of my family members may be subscribed to a magazine series with fancy British mopeds and motorcycle that he wants to steal the wheels from that I may or may not read from time to time. Look, I like awesome things okay, now get us out of here before we get hit!”
A laser nearly struck us and I immediately hit the gas in fright and the motorcycle came to life and shot off, guess I didn’t need to worry about keys or having to turn on the ignition in this thing. I angled the paralance behind me and locked it at an angle to shield us from aerial attacks from behind.
I really wished the thing hadn’t reared up while pelting down the road at such a ‘breaking neck’ speed, Dolly calmly took control of me and leaned me ever so slightly forward and righted ourselves immediately before giving me back control.
“Now after that PLANT Pom!” Dolly pointed forward and I realized something as we slowly caught up with the PLANT that was about to come under attack of several motorcycle wielding Troopers… the PLANT wasn’t heading in the direction of Castle Alexander. I said retreat while it was surrounded by enemies on all side so that could mean… oh gods and goddesses what have I done now?!
-Shinra Tower, Merak-
“There you are… sending the last Thousand Gunner I can spare that isn’t dealing with Bombs.” I was actually starting to feel fear that they might breach my defenses, that castle sure was making a mess at the edges of the upper city.
What I can’t understand is why the PLANT they just captured wasn’t heading straight toward it? In fact, it was currently seemingly trying to spiral slowing towards Shinra Tower? What were they up to… they’ve been fairly obvious, mostly predictable and rather easy to counter up to this point.
Deploying the MOTH Units and Helicopter manufactured as well. While I would like to save them for the defenses of the tower, I couldn’t take any chances that that they could somehow defeat the Thousand Gunner.
That ewe was annoyingly hard to kill and I could see why Moon Cell was quite worried about her… she’s being quite a thorn in my side and somehow surviving all the traps like a certain blue electricity spewing bastard.
What the…?!
I stared at another screen and saw the air glitching out and something white started poking through a distortion in space and wiggling about, something that somehow filled my misbegotten soul with terror that it wanted to eat me.
The red eye mollusk looking thing looked around as it plopped out onto the street and began to warp the area around it as it began eating things, an EP attacked it and was summarily consumed in short order. It was suddenly missing as if it never existed.
This happened to be in the same direction the ewe was heading in a counterclockwise manner through the city.
Moby Dick was too busy keeping the Slayer Dragon occupied, also I was more afraid of the Slayer Dragon than I was of that ewe… given he was actually succeeding in heavily damaging the whale.
Wait, why were there suddenly Archer Gekko… what the hell was that thing?!
Code red orders from Moon Cell, destroy that thing at all and any costs including throwing everything I had at it.
-Castle Alexander, Ocellus-
“Uh guys, everyone, the World Eaters are back.” I said quietly as I got an idea of where the PLANT was heading and why, I slapped my hoof against my face.
I can now understand completely and entirely why ponies face hoofed so often around my people!
Pom had put it into ‘Fighting Retreat’ and it almost felt like it was modeling its brain after a Berserker Moogle given what it thought a fighting retreat looked like. Fighting, by keep going into the enemies territory, then retreating in a sideways direction... still at the enemy.
“Canard please quickly intercept Pom and give her the spare visors you took with you, then let me inform her of the chaos that’s about to occur here. We’ll try to keep pushing towards the tower and hope that we can defeat Merak before that thing consumes the whole city.” That’s when Dormarch ran into the castle and teleported by us heading towards supplies storage in a hurry. “Dormarch is fine, he’s here with us for the moment, Shanty is still missing in action.”
-Upper City above where Artoria and Mash were invading the city, Minor Eater Territory, Eater Mother-
Hungry…
