-Petopia, the next day, very early morning, travelers’ tent, Pom-

I’m once again covered in dogs… nothing new to me at this point.

I’m going to ask Dolly whether or not she wanted to spend the day with me and depending on the answer…

I blinked and looked at Brainy, I saw her ears lifting up in a half circle shape and I’m pretty sure the images I see her producing between her ears were her dreams. Must be awkward for the alien dog if she is sleeping next to someone.

Let’s see she’s spending time with a handsome white dog with a red cape, she’s protecting me from three evil cats with images of robots or golems and the white furred dog is helping her. It was all looking quite action packed, Brainy then cuddled me happily afterwards when defeating the evil alien cats.

At least I knew what they look like now and that Brainy wanted to protect me from many things. Thankfully she was far too smart to become one of my familiars.

“Brainy what are some of the worst things these cats have done?” I asked quietly and then I watched the response of Brainy’s subconscious answering me without a second thought. “Hm… okay… lots of concerning things. Those cats definitely need to be dealt with.”

Brainy smiled in her sleep as she imagine the cats put behind bars… an energy barrier, patrolling dogs and an entire facility the size of a planet dedicated to keeping them away from me and others. Well she was at least dreamed big.

After I was done watching the images I started to think about today’s itinerary for me personally. Depending on what Dolly answers, I still have my own things to do today and I’m going to need Paw Patrol’s help with it.

The pets around here had airships, submarines, cruise ships and plenty of things to look into. The pets here were not technologically incompetent in the slightest. The smarter pets are the ones obviously bringing in the technology and it was up to the other pets to produce and use said technology.

I had a few ideas I wanted to run by some of the pets and I will need to talk to a lot of pets today. Specifically the ones who are at least more keyed into things going on around paw-tucket, like Roxy or Pepper’s groups.

The pets here oddly didn’t have much in the way of automotive vehicles, but they did use carts and seemed to prefer to go everywhere on paw. Though I have heard about hamster wheel powered flying vehicles, I was curiously to learn more about them and I’m sure Skye would be too.

So let’s see, Dolly would like to visit the skate park, the ski resort and the last place to visit has to be Paw-tucket’s sports arena to test her stuff against some of the sportier pets around in the evening even if she doesn’t get enough from the ski resort. She was a top athlete as far as dogs were concerned already and that’s before magic gets added into the equation.

Hm… yes… that would be a fun thing to set up for later. I’m going to need to talk to a number of pets while Dolly was distracted by having fun, which wasn’t hard to do. I wouldn’t have long before she woke up, she usually does when she notices I’m actively moving about… now how to get out from under all these dogs while only waking the Marshall and his friends.

A length of wool started prodding Marshall and eventually I replaced myself with a pile of blankets and pillows with the help of the four Paw Patrol pups.

-Approximately ten minutes after being freed from being dog piled later-

As a living pillow I require my bathroom break… once done I addressed the four puppies waiting attentively for me.

“Okay, now that that business is out of the way. There’s something I want you four to do for me today.” I started whispering to the four puppies what I needed for them to do and who to talk to for me and even gave them written instructions. I really doubt any dog, pet or not, would miss answering the call to action I was about to put out and hoped the news spread all around. “There, you all got what I want you to do?”

“Yes, and we’ll get it done Ms. Lambchop, Chase is on the case!” Chase barked bravely and was off in a flash heading towards town.

“You can always count on Paw Patrol! Activate Jetpack…” Skye stated and was about to fly off.

“Belay that, save your fuel until it’s absolutely needed Skye!” I quickly interrupted the pink wearing puppy.

“Aw… okay I will, but I am currently interested in those flying hamster wheel things you mentioned, I mean if its paw powered flight then I definitely know I can use that even if it’s a bit slower.” Skye certainly seemed eager to fly or be in the air, whereas her cousin Coral preferred to be ocean bound as an outsider mer-pup, a mer-pup that wasn’t born as one. Apparently the mer-pups had something similar to whatever magic the hippogriffs use for Coral to stay in her mer-pup form. “I’ll go see about getting one of those Fly Wheels for myself while I’m doing the thing! Sure I can’t bring it back to Ryder, but I can suggest something like it to him to replicate so I can enjoy it in my free time in the air. It would certainly save on my fuel expenditure costs and make things much easier on Ryder and Ace…”

“Hey, you helped me work out how to not have accidents with my slippery paws, it’s the least we could do and we will want to do more!” Marshall barked excitedly and then set out. “We’re friends forever Pom even if we never see each other again after our time here, I’m fired up and ready to go!”

Marshall soon disappeared heading towards the junkyard and theme park to start his run, then I turned my attention to Everest.

“Do you think you can manage your particular mission without your usual vehicles?” I asked Everest as her job was a little more intensive than the others.

“I can do it easily, my paw pack comes with cold rescue supplies, ropes, hooks and even a pair of skis fit for me to use. Besides I heard the pets here have ski lifts so it shouldn’t take me that long to get up the slopes of the ski resort.” Everest stated as she saluted to me and was off heading towards the nearby snowy mountain. “I’ll even greet you there when you show up Pom. Trouble on snow or ice, I don’t even need to think twice!”

With that the four Paw Patrol puppies were off, their communications devices didn’t work very well outside of satellite coverage of the next door world. Let’s see if this will work out like I think it will, it’ll certainly be interesting to see if the pets around here will actually do it.

It didn’t take me long to feel Dolly wake up and with energy, she had pinged me within five seconds of noticing I wasn’t there in the tent and immediately came running out to see me sitting here by myself.

“So Dolly, do you want to spend the day with me or… do you want to spend it hanging out with Tusky?” I waggled my brows at Dolly and her face went slightly red.

“Oh come on Pom, like I’m going to leave you of all people hanging! Though I do kind of want to spend more time with Tusky…” Well at least Dolly admitted that she had a conflict of interests here. “The others definitely talked about their days with you, never new Shanty’s hooves could turned finned or get sharper… or that she could handle being two hundred and fifty meters below sea level without getting crushed by the weight of all that water. How far down do you think she can go?”

“Below five hundred meters easy, she’s a Capricornus, I really doubt the entire sea could crush her spirit. You know… Tusky could come with us and you two could hang out together while I do a circuit around Paw-tucket’s sportiest places?” I’m going to be doing this anyway without Dolly, I have plenty of reasons for doing so as I needed to get an idea of what I’m working with, might as well do it with her and make her day even if she’s going to be missing most of what I’m doing if she’s far too focused on Tusky. So it might help to have him around since he’ll calm Dolly down about the whole me inevitably finding out something is going on with evil alien cats. “I could chaperone you’re date with him…”

“Date, who said anything about a date?!” Panic breathing, yeah Dolly was really bad around huskies… which begs the question.

“Do you get the same way about female huskies?” It had to be asked, I mean given how Dolly is acting like the sky is falling.

“No… but I do think they are beautiful, there’s just something about huskies or husky like beings that speaks to me… I’m otherwise definitely straight and will eventually want puppies of…. erg?!” Straight except for huskies apparently, got it, also Dolly just realized what she was saying and her brain ground to a halt thinking about the big family she comes from and trying to apply that to the family she might eventually want.

“Too much overthinking and getting ahead of yourself?” My quite tone was met with a quiet nod and Dolly looking more like a mortified wilting strawberry than a Dalmatian. “Then let me get started on breakfast.”

“Breakfast, count us in!” Cheerfully Mitzi on approach for the tent and I did owe her and Pepper some restitution for easing my agony over the last few days by a metric ton.

“That’s the least I could do for you Mitzi.” Those skunks were the sweetest I’ve ever met, smelling and otherwise. “Now let me tell you what I can currently make, I’ll have Dormarch make sure it’ll be safe for consumption before I start…”

-An hour later, at the skate park-

Bev Gilturtle had a lot friends in odd circles, bungee jumping, sky diving, paddle boat racing, roller derby and several other high octane things. That turtle really had a taste for the extreme and adventurous bordering on insane. So basically every friend of Bev the rather experience turtle already knew who I was and roller derby team the ‘Thunder Clouds’ reminded me somewhat of Equus’s own ‘Wonder Bolts’, what with their blue gear and a similar cloud and lightning bolt insignia.

This is how I got introduced to a cow named Utter Chaos, a dog named Ferocious Fran… who was a fan of mine and didn’t have a mean bone in her body… and Miss Hiss the cat. All three of them were showing off what skills they had.

Udder Chaos in particular was really good at extreme skating and Dolly got along well with the cow from the start. Fran was decently capable in tricks and skating, just not both at the same time and she was adorable in trying to impress me at least. Miss Hiss was good at going fast, but she slammed into things… a lot. Hiss was the second most durable member of the Thunder Clouds roller derby team by far and not for a good reason.

“So you think you can train everyone to pull it off?” My question was met with a jovial ‘moo’.

“We Thunder Clouds might be the worst derby team in Paw-Tucket, but that’s not for the lack of trying! We make the other teams work for their victories and have won a few times ourselves. In other words I’ll see what we can all do!” Udder Chaos, team captain and paw-tucket magically downsized cow stated with a cheerful exuberance and a sense of seriousness. “I’ll at least get everyone working on it!”

“As long as you are ready for it. That’s all I ask.” I nodded to her and went back over to where Tusky was watching Dolly put on quite a show that attracted quite a few other pets that have come to paw-tucket. “She’s quite amazing huh?”

“That your partner is eh.” Tusky stated with a hint of friendly fondness as he watched Dolly perform a double backflip into a two eighty to land going down the ramp. She wasn’t going to use any magic today at this rate unless things went horribly sideways. “Too bad I know she will stay by your side when you leave, you are definitely not sticking around here forever and she’s quite a spunky one that knows where her loyalties ultimately lay eh. Though it would have been nice, she certainly is sweet and quite capable in many ways... when she isn’t tripping all over herself around me. I'm honestly flattered by it.”

“Still a few possible weeks to make good memories… just don’t take things too far, even Dolly should know better given the Tartarus we’re about to go into after our vacation time is over.” I don’t know whether seeing Tianhuo in Tambelon would be a good thing or not, on the one hoof she’s strong, on the other she’ll be in danger because of me.

“I’m a gentle dog and my parents raised me right eh.” You make me wonder Tusky, was the ‘eh’ a common verbal tic amongst your entire family or was it just you?

“So care to tell me some things about your people, I believe you said they were ice borers?” Learning about alien culture certainly was interesting, especially that frosty canines that naturally lived on an ice planet and used their humongous tusk tooth to dig for water and or food. Husky’s species could handle below freezing easily, so the visit to the ski resort wouldn’t be a bother him weather wise. “Also is the whole ‘eh’ thing you or is it common to your whole family?”

“My people all have the verbal tic, it comes up every once in a while… even when we’re writing eh.” That has got to be annoying for you Tusky, you could write a few sentences normally and then at the end of one you suddenly add ‘eh’ as an afterthought.

-Two hours later, on the way to the ski resort, traveling through Paw-tucket-

I had to make a quick stop to talk to some pets, specifically Jade Catkin. She might as well be this world’s version of Jaded La Perm, just far less insane and more amiable to be around.

“My pottery and poetry class will love to hear about this… heh heh heh, especially for a good cause!” Jade stated as she rubbed her front two paws together with a devilish grin on her face, her ears shaping almost like the devil horns I’d imagine Jaded La Perm to have. “I’ll see to it, I know a lot of cool cats that will want to do that! Even a few rabbits and dogs will want to get in on this. I’ll will have it ready whenever you need it, if you need me find one of my friends, they’ll know where I’m napping or hanging about!”

“Okay, thanks Jade… those are words I never thought I would ever have to say, at least it’s not the annoying one that causes guards constant headaches.” Still wonder how the pets here got plumbing installed without human help, I would ask about that later.

“So why the ski resort? You can’t exactly do any skiing, snowboarding or much of any of that other really cool stuff.” Good question Dolly.

“I can still go sledding if I’m careful, you know my protective wool shell can absorb impacts no problem, but I’d rather not risk my own health. I’m just going to spend time at the local resort and maybe safely dip my legs into a hot tub, I kind of want to stretch my right hind leg out and I’ll simply keep it water proof with my wool.” My wool was successfully holding my slowly rebinding bone chunks together. “I could use a soothing hot mineral bath… even if I had to do it with sponges, I’m going to end up in a hot tub one way or another if I have to dig out a natural hot spring myself. Also there’s a few pets I need to talk to and I wanted to check on Everest since I sent her up that way with a message.”

“About what?” Dolly tilted her head curiously.

“Don’t worry about it, just some fun stuff.” It was going to be 'fun' if it works. If not… well… we’ll cross that bridge later.

We rode the ski-lifts up to the resorts lodges and I told Dolly to go have fun with Tusky, since he apparently had all kinds of knowledge on snow and ice related sports. I bet Velvet, Canard and Tusky would all have been great friends should they ever meet.

I took Dolly’s skateboard and stone bone with me, while she ran off to find a snowboard locally.

Once Dolly set off with Tusky, I eventually made my way over to the hot tubs quietly and then let out a sharp bark at the relaxing sheep in the nearest tub.

She bleated and flailed about wildly, before she ended up gripping her chest with her front hooves and was staring at me in fright.

“I’m sorry, but you made that way too easy… can we talk?” Despite scaring the living daylights out of Petula, the sheep still looked up to me curiously. “I need your help with something.”

“About what?” Petula finally tentatively said after she got over her shock and slight fear of me.

“Well, first of all I need to apologize to you for the whole skunking thing… and lead into quite a few other things we need to discuss moving forward.” I gestured to her to get relaxed as I reshaped my wool and moved my leg about with it carefully with gritted teeth. “I’m not apologizing about launching you out to sea, you were asking for consequences to come knocking and I think I might have reacted a little unfairly towards you. Let me give you a small reminder, don’t say nasty things about my son and we’ll have a cordial relationship moving forward.”

Keeping the bones in my leg in place while maintaining the wool cast in a water tight seal form was a little difficult to put in place, but I was making sure nothing moved out of place under my flesh. It was not impossible for me to get in the tub as I currently was and thus I slid into the tub next to Petula the sheep.

I felt the warm water washing over my wool and it relaxed my body as it did, I let out an audible sigh of being content. That didn’t mean I didn’t have an iron tight grip over protecting my right hind leg as I stretched it out under the surface of the bubbling water using my wool to do so carefully.

We then started having a conversation about a great many things. Petula needed some friendship and hasn’t been having any fun the last few days, even if she was still a highly snobbish sheep she wasn’t terrible to talk to. I’d ask around for Everest after this conversation.

-Dolly-

“Bow-whacka-wahoo!” Snowboarding was awesome, I never got to do this before! Mostly because I’ve never been near a snow covered mountain, even the so called bunny slopes were exciting to me. Mind you the bunny slopes here had actual pet bunnies skiing, sledding and snowboarding so I had to watch where I was going.

The most snowboarding I’ve done is with my skateboard after I took the axle’s off and on small slopes at best, at worst just small mounds. At least I was good on a frozen over half pipe and cold temperatures were definitely my jam!

“Not even a shiver, aren’t you a short furred dog eh?” Tusky asked with his drill tusk currently hanging down to his chest, I still wonder where he retracted that thing to when it was pulled all the way in. How did it even fit inside his face? What cool secrets does his alien biology have?

I came to a stop next to him and looked up at the resorts lodges. I knew Pom was fine and… she even seemed to be enjoying herself, but why did it feel like I should be at her side right now?

Was it that I wanted to have fun with her today, even if I couldn’t have fun myself if I had to stick to her current pace?

“Yeah, but I’m a hot blooded Dalmatian and I might have some hell hound in my blood. If it’s a choice of immunity to hot or cold, I’m glad to have an immunity to cold.” Nothing can freeze this dog solid… except maybe the handsome alien husky Pom left me alone with, should I get an affectionate lick from him that is.

Pom was trying to be my wing mate on this 'not-a-date' thing I’m doing here, but I still felt like I wanted to be there for her or with her.

Pom sent me a mental reassurance to keep having fun, I had a few hours of slope time after all and then we’d head back into Paw-tucket for some evening games at the sports stadium.

“Well if I had to be someone’s pet, it would have to be Pom… glad we’re family.” I relaxed a little and motioned towards the ski-lifts as I picked up the snowboard I was renting out.

“Being a pet is nice, but being family is even greater eh.” Wholeheartedly agreed Tusky who was motioning for me to go another round in racing him down the hill where there were flags marking the path. “Bet you can’t beat me down first!”

“You’re on handsome butt!” I shouted as we got ready to race downhill.

-Pom-

Her heart is all in for a husky and yet she still cares about me more than that… I’m really touched by Dolly’s dedication to sticking with me, but this is kind of ridiculous. What about her own happiness?!

“So what was the response Everest?” I asked the snowbound Paw Patrol expert on snowy mountain regions.

“They’ll do it and will be ready Pom!” Everest stated while wagging her tail.

“Say Everest, let me introduce you to someone, if you’re going to be visiting Paw-tucket more often then she could use a friend.” With a gesture of my hoof Petula came up to me, still looking a little prideful, but at least she was keeping it under control. “I’ll leave Petula in your capable paws, also Petula do you want to help with that?”

“Sure thing, when it happens, just let me know and I’ll see if I can get back in my crew of acquaintances good graces before then to help pull things together like only a ‘Woolright’ can!” Here Petula Woolright had a mischievous smile, she still got here despite being a bit of a bully and a jerk. She could truly play and be nice when she tried.

After I left Petula with Everest and some good new, I grabbed myself a cup of hot carob. Chocolate was a relatively heavily banned substance in Paw-tucket for a variety of reasons, mostly the easy poisoning of animals, carob was a by far safer substance by comparison.

“Want a carrot to go with that?” Looking at the white rabbit next to me, she seemed friendly. “Name’s Ray, I’m a magician. I saw you at Sunil’s show, you’re an odd one.”

“Yeah, I’ll take a carrot, but I need to know… can you get into contact with all the pets that can do magic like Sunil?” I took up an offered carrot and started chewing on it.

“Ahhhh-choo!” Sniffling Ray put her right paw into the top hat she sneezed up out of nowhere and pulled Sunil the mongoose out of it. “Say hello to Paw-tucket’s premiere magician pulled out of a rabbit’s hat, he’s in contact with the more mystically inclined among us depending on what you might need of us.”

“Well I can say you’ve gotten better with talking with your audience Ray.” Sunil said in a pleasant tone before turning to me. “Did you be needing something, Pom I believe Pepper was calling you, from the guild of magic pets?”

“Yes, I will need you to do something really big eventually, I’m talking some actual magic that can help a lot of pets.” I started up what I wanted from him, after receiving a full explanation Sunil nodded as I finished up.

“We can be doing that, now be putting me back already Ray, I have many things to be organizing and not much time to practice!” Sunil was stuffed back into the top hat by Ray and she stuffed it back up her right nostril.

“So what kind of magical talent do you have? You seem too normal sized to have come through one of the Paw-tucket portals.” Ray asked curiously while raising her left ear in my direction.

-Some hours later, heading towards Paw-tucket stadium-

“I’m glad you’re having fun today Dolly.” I said as we were almost outside the local sports stadium.

“Yeah, but I could be doing more stuff with you than hanging out with Tusky. You’re not having any fun at all and I’m all about making sure everyone is in on the party.” Oh Dolly, I was actually having fun… I’m just going about it differently. “You are awesome in so many ways Tusky, don’t get me wrong, but I want that time with Pom!”

“You don’t have to worry about…” Then I got a digit on Dolly’s right paw pointed right at me.

“No, I’m sticking with you and make sure you enjoy yourself here!” Well that was going to be hard to do Dolly, since I brought you here to compete and enjoy yourself and cheer 'you' on.

“What happened to you wanting to be the center of attention?” I asked sarcastically not expecting an answer.

“You’re always making us the center of your attention whenever we need you at the drop of anything, but what about you… you deserve some attention too Pom!” She wasn’t even glancing in Tusky’s direction, but he smiled and made a gesture at me to get on with Dolly as he watched what the nearby pets were doing.

“Dolly, everything is okay and…” I said in a placating manner.

“No, not okay!” Dolly shouted throwing her paws up in the air in slight anger. “Don’t push me away, I’ll even play fetch with you if that is how I’m going to get to spend some personal time with you today, I’m that serious!”

A lot of pets were curious at my loud gasp. My eyes widened, I felt a bit of warmth in my chest and I let out a giggle at Dolly’s insistence that I actually be more involved in what was her day with me.

Dolly could have spent this entire day alone with Tusky and I wouldn’t have gotten in the way, but here she was instead arguing that she’d even play fetch if it meant she got me to be involved.

“You hate fetch though.” It was funny that Dolly was getting so irate about being my friend.

“Stop being so understanding and be selfish Pom and make me do something fun with you!” Dolly crossed her paws and huffed at me with a glare, my goodness was she adorable in this moment. Considering Tusky was snickering, he thought so too.

“You’re your own dog Dolly, I don’t want to tell or make you do anything you don’t want to do.” This was getting absurd now.

“What if sometimes I wanted to be your dog once in a while, did you ever think of that!” Okay Dolly got a loud snort and burst of giggles out of me, even she started laughing after a moment. “Okay yeah, I am getting pretty silly here… so, what do?”

Dolly was smiling up at me and wagging her tail excitedly.

“Ever heard of disc golf? They have the equipment for it here, it might even be right up your alley given you are quite in tune with wind.” It didn’t take long for me to get Dolly into the competitive spirit as multiple teams suddenly sprung up in an impromptu disc golf tournament by the surrounding pets.

It didn’t take long for Dolly to grasp the basics and then excelled given she had the opposable digits to pull off playing disc golf really well. I was no slouch with my hooves in the throws I had to make either.

We had gotten quite a few pets in on the fun and it became a thing.

-A time later-

It was currently Dolly’s throw and she was ahead by a point and this was the ninth basket, we were only doing a nine basket game. I moved off the side to talk to a few animals about a few plans.

“So tennis ball launchers, jump ropes and if you can work it... maybe set up enough bouncy balls or other small rounds things like marbles for it… but I doubt marbles are pet safe.” The pets nodded and told me they’d talk to the current mayor of paw-tucket about it and I sighed with relief and saw that Dolly had gotten really close with her last throw. “Not like it will safe to begin with so… if you’ll excuse me.”

My turn, I stomped my front right hoof into the disc, it flipped up into the air and got caught on my wool. I carefully moved into position with a three legged trot and prepared to throw the disc with my left hoof.

“If I sink this shot…” I muttered as I gauged the distance between me and the basket.

“Then we’ll likely tie, unless we’re counting this as first to basket in that case you win.” Dolly didn’t sound disappointed at the prospect of losing, in fact she seemed excited for me. Quite a number of pets were watching us now.

I wasn’t winning the impromptu tournament, some other pet won it already. That puffin was far too good at throwing discs around. I’m just fighting for second place with Dolly.

“Okay wind and angle, calm with a left hook sixty five degrees high vertical toss. Pull back and…” I launched the disc slightly to the right vertically instead of horizontally from my left hoof.

After reaching a certain height in the stadium, the disc caught some air and the disc veered towards the basket. It hit the front edge where it bounced and everyone took a sharp breathe, then it hit the back end of the basket and bounced back in.

“Woohoo, go Pom, bow-whacka-wow!” Dolly cheered exuberantly as she ran up to hug me excitedly and then decided to run off to quickly take third place with her next throw, quite a few pets cheered me on.

“Nice throw. That is quite a mind you have eh.” It seemed Tusky was as excited as the pets here were.

“Can I talk to you for a second about something serious?” My request was acquiesced to and I pulled Tusky off to the side where I told him some things.

He blinked a bit at first at what I was telling him and then his mouth firmed and he nodded as he fully took in what I was saying.

“Well that’s not very sporting you… and I’m not talking about us currently being in a sports stadium. I would even say it is totally unfair, but entirely warranted.” Despite saying there was unsportsmanlike conduct involved, Tusky didn’t say he didn’t like hearing what I told him. “I do find that my sense of humor has been quite piqued and I’ll be glad to see where you are going with this and if you can pull it off eh.”

“Good to know I have you’re approval with it then, see if you can find Marshall or Chase and tell them how it’s going so far. I’ve got more time to spend with Dolly into the evening.” With that Tusky ducked out of Dolly’s day and we moved on to playing the next game.

Dolly didn’t even notice Tusky had left or was even gone, she was having far too much fun with me before we had to go back to the tent.

I had coached Dolly into a one hundred meter dash of which she was the fastest animal around that couldn’t naturally fly. Nobody here could beat me in a high jump and that’s with my handicap and without having wings. The obstacle course was fairly popular among many pets of all kinds and not just the dogs. There was throwing footballs through hoops that were actively rolling or set up in a specific static position. There were a lot of events that required moving that I otherwise did my best at while trying to avoid causing myself any undue stress or pain.

It was all pure fun and we got an early evening show when Bev and the Thunder Clouds showed up to have a match again the Cat-er Maulers, an obvious pun on the word caterwaul. Dolly enjoyed watching the bout as she had never seen a turtle go that fast or get into roughhousing like that before. The Thunder Clouds got quite a roar of applause when they won the match, mostly because Miss Hiss couldn’t stop once she got going fast.

“Aw yeah, did you see that Pom, she was like wham bam, thank you, but I’m the better bash sister here!” Didn’t need to ask Dolly if she had a good time watching Bev wreck out there with her team as we calmly spectated with snacks.

“Did you even notice Tusky leaving?” It was something I finally decided to ask as Dolly seemed far too inattentive of his absence.

“He left… since when?!” It truly seems like that surprised Dolly, she had actually been successfully distracted from the alien husky going off on his own.

“Something came up Dolly, don’t worry about it.” I patted Dolly on the back and then started caressing her ears and she leaned into the touch of my hoof. “Let’s get back to the tent so I can make dinner, Tusky should be there by now.”

“Thanks for letting me spend so much time with a cute guy I like over these last few days Pom.” Dolly then licked me under the chin and then stuck with me as I walked home with her at my side. “Sure, nothing is going to come of it, but I want Tusky to at least remember me fondly. I am certainly never going to forget him.”

-Later that night, in space nearing Petopia and Dog Star Patrol space hydrant base, Mechanikat Tower Space Cruiser, Mechanikat (Villainous bipedal cyborg feline who supposedly leads the ‘Felonious Felines’, the somewhat boss of the far more dreaded Snooky Wookums)-

“So we lost Agent 9-L and Isis was captured before she could rendezvous or make contact… no matter, we can still carry out the plan. Those pesky pooches of Dog Star Patrol will not be able to stop us from conquering this peaceful helpless little world!” I slammed my fist against the arm of my throne. “I will no longer be a laughing stock among the other villains, I will ruin a completely peaceful paradise that no other evil has been truly capable of reaching… until now that is muwahahaha-! Not even Dog Star and all their powers will be able to put a stop to me, since Krypto, Streaky, Jumpa, Bat Cow, and Bat Hound are going to be far too busy to come to their rescue. I swear there are far too many animal heroes these day!”
